Pykara waterfall on the way to Mysore from Ooty. Fall is near by Ooty Entry charges 50 per adult Camera charges 50 Children are free up to 5 years old. Beautiful view from there You can also see tea baghan there.

It's just on the road. Not worth it to consider it as an attraction. If you have a lot of time to drive you can stop by. But be careful since it's on the Highway and photographs here could be a risky affair.

You can see fall from road.. you have to stand on bridge. Bridge is narrow so you hv to be careful while clicking pictures. Monkeys are also there. 2-3 tea and pakora shops r there. You can sit n enjoy the beauty around. But again noisy area bcz of narrow road, bridge, turn. No need to go special to see fall. It’s better to add in your ‘en route’ list. It takes only 2-4 mints to look around.

Superb surroundings recommended if you like taking photos. They also give tea factory tours but the tour is ok they will just explain the process and you wont be able to see the actual manufacturing process. They encourage you to buy the local produce we ended up buying products worth 2000. But we had taken some good photos as they let you stroll around the tea estate.

A must visit place when in Coonoor. The process of how the tea leaves are processed through multiple steps and machines before it is finally in a consumable state is a very good learning experience, though the guide speaks at a super sonic speed to explain the full process while viewing the machines. The tea estates look beautiful, you can get into them and do the photography.

Really scenic. Very good place for photography. You can get to even purchase various types of teas, chocolates, spices etc at this place. Do taste the chocolate tea which is a special drink here. The only drawback is the roads aren't that great to reach this place.

Highfield Tea Factory or Highfield estate is one of the must visited tourist destination in Coonor. It has a tea processing unit, nilgiri oil extraction unit and a chocolate factory which you can have a tour with a guide free of cost. A perfect scenic surroundings to take photos with the nature. A professional photographer is also present there to take some professional photographs with the attire of tea makers. The shops located there claim to sell the products from the estate itself but you need to check the price outside, the quality of the tea that we purchased from there was not too good, it was below my expectation as I was thinking I would get some original tea. Nilgiri oil was fine and chocolates are normal you can get the same product outside at the same or lower price, no need to add to your luggage by purchasing it from there. I would say everything was expensive check and buy.

Interesting experience. A private guide will bring you to the factory, tea plantation, oil room, chocolate room and shop. The tea plantation is very beautiful, however the factory was not operational at the point of visit and looks pretty rundown. The oil shed is extremely rundown but it was interesting to learn how tea leaves oil are produced. The chocolate room is also very tiny but we got to try different kind of chocolates, including white, liquid and mango chocolate. Overall an enriching experience! Tip: You have to drive/walk down the hill from Resort and supermarket in order to get to the tea factory and shop.

Tea factory was under renovation (19/04/2022) but you can visit tea garden take a walk and click some really great photos. . You can visit the small Eucalyptus oil factory and see how oil is extracted . A gentleman explained about oil extraction process. Then there is a chocolate store. You can purchase some oil, some great tea powder (ginger , chocolate flavour) and chocolates. This place is about 15 mins drive from Coonoor railway station or bus stand. You should visit when in Coonoor .drive to this place is scenic we saw bison 🦬 on the route.

101 shades of green!!! Was such a beautiful sight!! The tea factory tour was also amazing and so informative. It is 15-20 mins from the coonoor station with Sims park nearby as well.

Beautiful tea estate. Comfortable to walk in. Photographer is available who gives nice instant baby, couple and family pics by the tea garden. There is a tea and spices shop next to the tea garden, which provide the most mind blowingly fresh and flavourful tea and spices you can have. Ask them for a sample masala chai - they make it very well. All in all, a must visit if you come to Coonoor.

Just behind Sims park this is a serene tea estate. A small one but quite famous in nilgris. There is a factory tea manufacturing tour. A small outlet sells essential oils, tea, spices etc. There is also an option for photo shoot at the tea gardens. One can spend around an hour here. The tea is very good here. Parking is limited and can be a pain during peak season. The factory tour is not that great.

It was wonderful visiting this Tea Factory in Coonoor. Papaya cream & home made Strawberry 🍓 flavoured wine we picked for NYE was excellent. In the bill by mistake they added extra quantity we didn't order but even after reaching Bangalore when we reached out for assistance on refund, Manager sorted it for us. Wholeheartedly recommend to stop by here when visiting Coonoor.

SCAM ALERT !! DO NOT BUY TEA / OIL FROM THE HIFIELD SHOP. We were approached by a gentleman who was wearing a HIFIELD I'd card and offered to give a free tour of chocolate making, eucalyptus oil processing unit and tea factory. We tasted the chocolate in the chocolate shop which is just above the main shop. The chocolates were really good (especially the mango chocolates). Then we visited eucalyptus oil unit where were given 100% pure oil to check and experience how it feels when we put it on our arms, forehead, and nose. I was blown away. Within 2-3 min I could feel it's effect on me. I felt very fresh and my tiredness just vanished. Finally we visited the tea factory where we saw how different kinds of tea are made. The overall experience of the tour was very good. But here comes the other part of the story. We visited the main shop where we tasted different flavoured tea (which was really good) and decided to buy oil, chocolate and masala tea. Before buying the guide demonstrated a small act by putting oil on a cloth and setting it on fire. (The oil was poured from a bottle which was already opened). Again we could inhale the fumes which were very refreshing. Finally I was convinced and bought the stuff. Unfortunately after coming home when I checked none of the products were of the same quality which were shown to us during the tour. Especially the eucalyptus oil. It was very disappointing to realise that we were scammed.

The tea garden was the best here. It was less crowded and we could take a lot of pictures. We also visited the factory but couldn't see the process since it was closed on 31stmay. They also have a newly opened super market on the other side. The entire ambiance is also well maintained.

They have Tea, Chocolate and Nilgiri Oil factory, their plantations as well as numerous varieties of indoor plants and exotic fruits and veggies available for sale at decent prices. The tour of tea, chocolate and nilgiri oil plantation & factory with a guide was totally free. The farm tour of other veggies and fruits was chargeable around rs. 500 pp, which we didn't visit.

There are extremely tall trees of all kinds especially pine and most of them are very old which shows how well they have preserved these natural beauties. You will find several types of pretty flowers all over the place. We also spotted bees trying to pollinate over these flowers. There is a small lake at the center of the park where you can do boating as well, but the lake is pretty small for an activity like boating. There are fishes in the lake which you can feed as well but make sure you don't litter around in the park. Toilets are also available here.

Such a beautiful park full of trees, greenery all around, with a small lake for boating and a children's play area also.. I visited this place after 5pm, so it was very pleasant to be there.. The canal was full of fish and 3 ducks also. We fed them and the kids enjoyed a lot

The park is usually for kids, and nature lovers looking for a serene place to spend time. A glass house, kids play area, very small but boating area is also available. Full of green and serene atmosphere. Entry is paid and have to buy ticket, Rs. 35/- per head charges. Kids upto 5 are free to enter. Parking place is avialble at outside of this park.

Good to visit if you’re in Ooty. This park is so big that you have to walk a lot to cover. It can take you an hour or more to cover the entire park. Boating facilities area available. You can find varieties of trees which are much more older. You can get some unique trees like Rudraksha tree. Good for photo shoot. However there is no parking available. It’s a paid street parking.

This ticket counter is the entrance of the SIM'S Park. It is located very near to the bus stop and SIM'S Park circle. So visitors can indentify the Park and this Counter easily. Separate charges for Adult and Child. Here they will help/guide about park. Ticket counter Park name board visibility is good. Near by this ticket counter, you can buy the snacks and fruits.

This a nice garden in Coonor. This entire city has beautiful flowers, plants everywhere...the Sims Park is huge and good for a walk and to take many pictures...there are many stairs though. So elders may not prefer.

Nothing great. Can give a miss. The views are also nothing unique. Just a regular park with a few very old trees. Well maintained. Boating pond was very dirty. Play area (swings, slides) was a bit crowded and not great. Lot of climbing up and down needed. Not recommended for old people. Not worthy of spending more than 15-20 mins.

This is a nice garden and more of a botanical garden with every tree having a board of being planted and the name of the tree in it. It also has a children's park sort of thing and nice pathways to walk on

Mountaineering, rock climbing, and trekking are the other attractions of Hidden Valley.

I saw few guys review, I'm from this place, Without knowing anything pls don't put negative comments. And this is not a tourist place, There is a huge water fall deep inside the jungle 1.5 Kms approximately, Have to walk along with stream which comes down, Beware of animals too,can see leopard,indian gaur,wild boar and few more if you have luck,and beware of leaches. I'll upload photos in few days. And for anjan Kumar patnaik. We can't find treasure easily have to work hard for it.. You might have been in road side and went back,u must have asked localites for the exact location..

This is a very small water place near the Army contingent. Looked good for kids to play in the water, but It has leeches. Hence, do not venture into water.

The church worship is awesome. Please attend english service starts every Sunday at 9:30 am. Historical church build in 1850.

It's an old church located inside the army camp. I just visited, but church was closed.

This an historic church built in 1885. Beautiful structure and interiors, especially the pipe organ. We went just for a visit. But didn't know it was restricted area. Nevertheless we found some church people. They were so cordial and showed us around the church and we went and prayed their too. Really awesome church.

If you are from the plains and want a good meal with an awesome view head there! The food is excellent and so is the service. The owner is there and is very helpful with recommendations on what to order. The Mediterranean pizza was sooo good! And so was the huge lemon tart... Well everything we ordered was really good and fresh, they have very good vegan food too. Oh it's a vegetarian restaurant, but trust me it's really good... Coming from a die hard meat lover 😄

It's just Wow, the Food the place and the view. It's a surely NO MISS, and make sure with PRIOR BOOKINGS as they generally are busy, and do not entertain last minute surprises. This a 100% veg and ample options of. Vegan, Their Pizza, Pennine, cold pressed juices, soups, hand made pastas, seasonl Bowl of salads, and not to forget the Deserts are to enjoy for. If you are lucky enough you might get the VIEW tables, also do inform them if you gonna have kids with you. Cafe diem, located within a private property is a mixed menu restaurant overlooking a.wooded.mountain side just outside.of Coonoor. The restaruant offers Italian, continental and Thai cuisine in a limited menu. We ordered pumpkin soup, beet with feta cheese, Mediterranean 10 inch pizzas and pomegranate cheese cake. All are recommended. The dried tomatoes on the pizzas was very very tasty. The cheesecake mildly flavoured and tasty. Always book a table before arriving.

Such a magnificent place, embraced with nature. Just can’t explain how gorgeous this location is, filled with delicious cuisines for those great taste buds. Extremely beautiful and I just don’t have enough words to explain how sweet Radhika Shastry Maam was with us. There are special schedules for small children in particular. Since bookings are being made, we don't have to wait in queue as in other restaurants/ cafe Good ambience and a clean environment. We tried pumpkin coconut soup which was amazing. Date palm Jaggery hand crafted ice cream and Pomegranate cheese cake were the highlights. Pesto Pasta , Thin crust Pizza , Cheesy Garlic bread were just mouth watering !!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Cafe Diem with my husband and our friends. It was such an incredible experience. It was truly one of the best meals and experiences I’ve ever had. From the views, to the atmosphere, and the amazing food- I’m truly grateful to have experienced this gem in the heart of the mountains. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone visiting!!

Café diem, a unique place that will satisfy your stomach,mind and the eyes too. The location is heavenly, the decor is amazing,the arrangement of the whole place is refreshing. The choice of food is classy,the minute you taste the soup, enjoy the starters, relish the main course and devour the dessert all you taste is the freshness and quality they offer. We actually went on both the days we were in the Nilgiris. I can go on and on praising the food which you will too do when you visit and enjoy your time there . Cafe at a good place. Over priced food and cafe couldn’t fulfil the expected hype. Poor food but we haven’t tried their handcrafted icecreams to comment on it. Platter, soup & pizza were very bad in terms of taste. Good ambience, hygenic place. Good customer dealing is to be appreciated. Reservation is only due to limited space I feel but decorated in best way.

A quaint restaurant among the hills, a beautiful view combined with some delicious food. A perfect place to spend a quiet afternoon. Recommend the garlic bread, pasta with mixed sauce or pesto and the deserts : chocolate mousse and coffee pannacotta are just brilliant. This is I must say is a Sherry certified restaurant!!

I enjoyed this place. Loved the goat cheese and fig pizza. The lemon curd crepe was amazing! Loved the handcrafted ice-cream. It’s an experience. The service could improve. They don’t remember the orders. So that needs a bit of work. Would have loved it if they were pet friendly. I travel with my pet and it would have been helpful if they allowed my car to be parked inside their property for some shade. Even though I called earlier to reserve.

It’s recommended to reserve before you go. We have not reserved though however, seats were available. The desserts and coffee are a must try. The atmosphere is excellent. Since the cafe runs on a private property photography is restricted only within the cafe premises. I’m not sure if there are other good cafes in Ooty, but this is definitely one.

Like most customers we visited this cafe after reading all the overwhelming reviews. The location of the cafe is very scenic and the decor is rustic. Food : we were just not happy about it. Bruschetta we ate just tasted dry and just raw tomatoes with no tinge of any Italian herbs or olive oil. We ordered pesto pasta, the pasta was undercooked (far from being al dente) and the portion size was just ridiculously small even for a single serving. The lemon tart was quite okay. Service : The napkins that were on our table was badly stained and we asked them to replace them, which took them ages to that. I felt they were less prompt to attend. Cost : totally overpriced Overall my experience was 3/5! We didn’t really feel worth all the effort of ringing them in advance for the prior reservation ☹️ Food and service - 3/5 Ambience - 5/5

Beautiful location up and above the Coonoor town… Outstanding food quality, authenticity, portion & serving… in particular since I came back from Italy just over a month back. The dips in the falafel platter were so fresh and yummy. The soup was smooth, the pizza just perrrrfect & the Tiramisu to die for. Shall highly recommend if you are visiting Coonoor. Do reserve beforehand.👍😊

Outstanding food. Personalised service. Very friendly staff. Great taste . Loved the pizza. Must do if in the vicinity. Best is to go during the day for the added bonus view, but we went by night and concentrated on the food.

The best cafe in Coonoor. The food and place is just perfect and authentic. The staff is just too good at what they do. This is situated next to a private home so photography in the residential area is not allowed. The best thing you should order here is their Tiramisu and their pesto ravioli.

Not a big fan of all vegetarian cafés but this one changed my perspective altogether, if someone is planning to visit Coonoor/Ooty then this place should definitely be on top of bucket list. Would not belittle this place by calling it just a café, going here is an experience in itself. You will be amazed by serene, panoramic and wide spectrum of dynamic views of Nilgiris ranges this place offers. Apart from natural beauty Kudos to owner ‘Radhika Shastry’ mam for making every corner of this place speak of itself, her diligent efforts in every department be it food, hospitality, decoration makes it definite ‘goto’ place. We were here during Xmas week, 2023 and what a way to make it more merrier.

Good food with a great outdoor dining space. A home stay styled resort is adjacent and part of the property. Currently under renovations, so slight disruptions to the service routine and rest rooms. Food options are slightly expensive and limited but is cooked and served well. Lawn seating are wonderful if the day is not super sunny.

Located on the outskirts of Conoor, this hotel offers a truly enchanting ambiance. Set amidst a vast plot, the highlight is undoubtedly the charming old cottage home, possibly converted into a café, which adds to the allure of the place. Relaxing here while enjoying a meal comes with the bonus of a great view. The food, including fresh juices and lemon soda, is decent, although presentation could be improved for a more pleasing aesthetic. Nevertheless, taste-wise, it meets expectations. The interior and architecture are simply stunning, with even the bathrooms boasting aesthetic appeal. Overall, it was a delightful experience, highly recommended for those seeking a memorable retreat.

We didn't dine at La Belle Vie but at Lisa's café present in entrance of the place. As usual in a place like this, the person in charge stereotyped us as people looking for idlies and dosas which i asked him anyway. Coming to the food - Fried chicken burger tasted great as we had 3 of these, had few varieties from crossiant and all were good with well made puffy crossiant, Mandarin basque cheesecake had a lemony tart flavor with some cheese notes, pain au chocolat tasted well with right amount of sweetness but it can be a bit bigger, also had smoked chicken quiche which was good but can be given a pass. Definitely a pricey place to have food but worth a try. Just one message to the management. Don't judge a book by its cover.

Its very calm place to spend your time with family. No crowd. The ambience was awesome. Climate is also very chill at December. There is an option to fireplace inside room. It was a nice experience. Overall its good.

Besides the fact that a movie was shot here, just the feel and old british vibe of this place takes you to a surreal level. Book a place in this accommodation (well in advance) to experience something different and who knows what philosopher you can develop into😊😊😊

We went to La Belle Vie for a lunch. It's the same house that is shown in Kapoor and Sons movie. The place is aesthetically beautiful and well maintained. The ambience inside and outside the property is amazing. It gives a vintage feel. Food was good, service could have been a little more crisp. We ordered soup, salad, pasta, omelette, fresh juices and chocolate. Our children enjoyed playing out in the lawn too. We also laid down in their lawn for some time to soak in the sun. Overall we had a good experience.

The food was great however there weren't any hot are cold beverages available. They do not serve food on the outdoors. A place like this can be enjoyed best with a hot cup of coffee whilst gazing at the city lit mountain.

Being a Bollywood fan, this was a wish list place after watching Kapoor and Sons and the place is too beautiful to be true. The food was delicious. We ordered Shepherds Pie, apple pie and both were awesome. The staff was very courteous. A must must visit specially in daytime for photography and night for dinner.

Okayish food not that great Staff is rude We specifically mentioned the requirements and veggies on pizza and pasta and the staff taking our order said “ could you please tell me clear” which was very rude. And guess what after we told him “CLEARLY” it was not exactly what we order My suggestion: Speak less and listen more. Don't ruin a tourist mood The only thing good is the location.

I recently dined at La Belle Vie restaurant in Coonoor and tried their Funghi Pizza and Hot Chocolate. The pizza was a delightful surprise, with a delicious blend of flavors that left me craving for more. It was not only tasty but also served piping hot, which added to the overall experience. On the other hand, the Hot Chocolate was decent but didn't quite match the high standards set by the pizza. It was satisfactory but lacked that extra richness and depth of flavor that I typically expect from a good Hot Chocolate. The ambiance at La Belle Vie is charming, and the service was attentive.

A great place, very beautifully done, very neat and clean. Service was excellent and most important the toilets were very clean. Food is excellent, but only thing that was disappointing were the desserts😔

The place is located in a very scenic location. The restaurant and lodge was set up by converting an old British bungalow. The food is overly priced and the quality is average. The quantity also is very meagre. The management should ideally do better to ensure that the food and service matches up. Poorly managed. The main highlight of this place is the surrounding view.

Beautiful spot for a cafe. A lot of movies were shot here - Sam Bahadur, Kapoor and Sons etc Reminds you of all the moments of the movie. Food is really good and quantity is also sufficient. Tried - Steak, Pesto Spaghetti, Pizza and Chicken Cream Soup. It is great to have a walk in the lawn and see a panoramic view of the city at night. A peaceful place to enjoy food and your company. Seeing all the reviews I was pretty sceptical about visiting this place but since I really wanted it to be about the experience we went forward and reserved a dinner with them. At first we thought that the waiter was rude but later he told us that many people visit here to just click photos and leave which makes it difficult for them. The manager was really nice and since there were no guests he gave us the tour of the whole villa. I left from there feeling awestruck and grateful for the time spent there. We ordered french fries, a meat lovers pizza, chicken forestiere, an iced latte and a cold coffee. The food was to die for. One of the best foods at an affordable price. Along with that the place felt really soothing and we had a great time there. A must go if you are in Coonoor/Wellington. My only regret is going at night so be wise and go at daytime. If we visit again, we will definitely be staying at this place.

I was very sceptical reading the negative reviews about the staff attitude. I reached there at 3.10pm and it was not crowded. I would recommend continental food. Ordered 2 dishes (pizza and pasta) and both were good. Service as mentioned in reviews in below par. Views and ambience are top notch. So if you have time and lots of patience head for this place.

Someone had suggested this place in ooty as one can have a 360 deg view of coonor but the day we went it was covered with clouds and that just added to the beauty of this place. A nice cozy place to have your lunch with beautiful interiors and set up. They also have a small cafe at the entrance. The food was good and you also have Indian cuisine option as well.

This is the same place where the movie Kapoor and sons was shot. It's an 115 year colonial house converted to a restaurant. We ordered a few continental dishes and all of them were awesome. Even tried the Caramel custard in the desert. I would say this is a must have item there. The service can improve though. If you like old nostalgic places and good food, then this a place to be.

We visited the place after reading rave reviews. The cafe was shut when we reached. We asked the staff to open it. We ordered a pizza with hung curd and 2 beef burgers for the table. They didn't entertain any customizations or requests. The food was average and the menu is limited. They don't serve any beverages. We ended up paying 1200 odd bucks. In terms of ambience, it's a cute place with a red door and lots of movie posters. Space is very small. We were the only ones when we arrived, so it was ok, but otherwise it could be quite crammed. Parking is along the road, but its tough to find a spot. Also, my husband forgot his wallet. We got to know after we left. We googled the cafe number and the owner thankfully circled back saying they found it. We went back and got it intact. So a big thank you to the staff.

Had come to this place in 2017 with my family, when we visited Coonoor from Bangalore, and loved the food and the atmosphere here. Happened to find this place again on our visit this time! Staff are warm and friendly. Well informed about the craft of making New York style pizza, the Italian way! (using a brick oven). Quick service and satisfied with the food quality and quantity! I would recommend this place to all travellers who are looking for a place with a authentic pizzas and other continental dishes and a very really good ambience

Small pretty place with excellent food. We had chilli cheese toast which was perfect. Fries were fried to the right crisp. Pizzas were okayish but definitely something new to try. The death by chocolate was perfectly moist and very filling. Price is a bit high, but you get it's worth. The staff was particularly unpolite and bad though.

Our first meal in Coonoor and we rushed to Open kitchen and ordered pizzas and cheese garlic bread, both of which were superbly made! Very generous toppings,great taste,great service! All in all a lovely place for a quick meal!

Tucked behind the main road, you enter a door and walk through a narrow pavement to enter a seating area with an all-white interior and glass panel. Coming to the food, we tried the OK special pizza here and it was pretty decent. The thin crust was well-done!

There was unanimous decision to head to this place and also going a step further - to order pizzas. And boy, we weren't one wee bit disappointed. Had some great food on a great evening. Good thing was that we reached there before it starts crowding. Great place to recommend. 👍🏻

Never had such a worst dinner in a long long time. Went there on a Tuesday evening. Parking was easy . On a crowded day might be difficult as you would have to find space on road. Service was ok. Place was under renovation or so . Washrooms were not present. I mean with a lady and kid with me it was quiet difficult to know that in the midway . Ordered a French fry . It was ok. I mean how can it go wrong. Ordered a fried cheese toast. After ten minutes they said it's not available. I mean we were the only ones in that place who were dining in. God knows why the chef took 10 minutes to realise that it cannot be prepared. The replacement was garlic toast. It was pathetic . The bread literally had garlic paste over it. Returned it back untouched. I tried to have it in between but it was not possible. The third dish was a fried chicken burger . The chicken was burnt from outside . But uncooked from the inside . Overall a bad bad experience. Am sure it might be an isolated incident . The management was least bothered to ask why we returned the garlic bread not eaten however they had got the money. Am sure I will not be going there again . Left unhappily. Hotel Coonoor junction is close by . Went there and had a dosa to compensate for this bad experience.

It's a small cafe with some 4 tables only, done nicely. Good place for lunch where one can sit out. They have open seating but covered with roof. We went for late lunch, there was 4 of us. Ordered corn, olives and onion pizza and sun-dried tomatoes pizza. Pizzas were good, thin crust, good size, well made. It's just tomatoes were not really sun dried. They customised our order on request. If you want to try two pizzas you can get half of each in one, that's what we did. Also ordered 2 chicken burgers, which were okayish. Had cold coffee and roasted almond cheese cake that were good. Overall, good place. They also have a guest house on top.

Ordered veg and non veg pizza, french fries, and hot fudge. They were out of garlic toast as well as orange cake. Pizzas with thin crust wheat base were good. Ambience is good but seating is limited with no restrooms. Located at first floor with steep stairs with only limited road side parking. Can be tried!

The old place had a very cozy vibe. It was my go to place when ever I was feeling a bit low. I loved the ambience, the waiter, the taste and service, the posters and every little thing about the old place. Tbh the new location is not as good as the old location.

It is a very nice place located not far off from the main city. The rooms are nice and clean. The restaurant is very good, even if you do not stay here, i would recommend visiting for the food. The food is very tasty and not spicy. I have reduced one star for two things-one there is no dedicated parking, one needs to park on the roadside and the second breakfast starts late around 8:30. I prefer to have breakfast early and be on my way. Other than that the staff is very cooperative and helpful, no problems at all.

This is one of the best stays in coonoor. The rooms very very clean and smelled awesome😍 The staff were also very friendly and helpful. The cleaning crew cleans the rooms on a daily basis. 10/10 for cleanliness. The food was also very delicious. The quantity is also good. But the price is on a higher end.

We lunched here after our Toy train ride from Ooty to Coonoor in July 2023. A quick call and the reservation was made. It is a little out of the way (depending on how familiar you are with Coonoor roads), but the travel was worth it. We were warmly welcomed, shown to our seats and given some time to go over the menu and place our order. The food was served super quickly: we tried quite a few things on the menu as we were famished and none of the items disappointed us. The Girl tried one of the pastas and found it delicious - not a comment that she would pass many times. Overall, a great experience! The restrooms were also clean, dry and well maintained - a must for us as travellers.

We stayed in Orchid Square , we travelled all the way from mysore and it was all worth it. We loved the location and the view. Food was delicious. staff were very helpful polite and forthcoming to . Would highly recommend anyone coming to Coonoor.

One of the worst experiences one can have. Highly unprofessional staff at the front desk. Talks very arrogantly. Believe me, you will regret your booking and the stay. In front of.me itself 2 parties found that their their bookings we not honored on their arrival. Not the least worth it. Talk about the room, you will sweat to death since the fan does not.work properly. Only lots of hype and fancy stuff around to lure customers. No proper parking. The hotel staff will tell you to park anywhere on the roadside outside the hotel.

Firstly, The place is just right for any mood. I loved the place right from my first step. Filled with floras, they add vibes to your mood. The staffs are extremely good and welcoming. The place is very clean and is maintained hygienically. Secondly, The food was a treat to the taste-buds. If you crave city-based food, this would be the perfect place. The rooms were pretty, considering it's a boutique hotel. Food: Did not get to try. Service: Poor The reception people were fast asleep and we checked out by just dropping the keys. Were refused an iron box citing that the housekeeping will arrive at 9 and only be able to service the request then. No breakfast despite paying for it. They did not bother to arrange for any alternative. Absolute disappointment and makes it so not value for money.

We had a great experience. Me and my friends enjoyed the food very much. We ordered Indian and oriental dishes which were super tasty. The staff were also very polite and responsive, always taking reviews for the food. They even offered us extra ice for free with our brownie sizzler. Will visit again for sure.

We went for our Social there and everything was good until I politely asked some supervisor if we can play our music because it was a private party and no other customers were getting disturbed.. The supervisor gave such a rude reply that he can’t change the music only their music can be played… I asked him the reason and like some school going kid he gave some stupid reply.. later came to know that it’s a residential place and they can’t play music after 10:15.. if the person could politely reply or explain this to me I would’ve understood him then and there.. they work in service industry and should learn some manners and ethics of working in service industry.. never ever going to recommend this place to anyone in DSSC.. moreover they over charged us for some cold drink bottles which you get in 20/25 rupees.. they charged us 75 for that which is a huge amount to be honest.. m giving two stars because other people were good I mean to say the steward staff ❤️❤️

Pros: Loved our stay here. Spacious rooms have all the basic necessities you would require. Very helpful people to serve you with utmost care to suit your needs. Amazing upper deck with stellar views (sadly the open air restaurant is not functional - Dec 2023) Cons: Hygiene is an issue. Starting from cutlery, water bottles to washrooms and balcony. These are not maintained well and have added videos to showcase how washrooms are and could be improved. Pricing of the rooms do not justify the hygiene they maintain at the main restaurant, washrooms, and overall cleanliness. I sincerely hope they start improving hygiene at the main restaurant, washrooms, and balconies.

We opted for a 3 nights 4 day stay at this hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We couldn't have expected more from staff. They are very nice to the guests. Food was very nice. All the best team orchid square.

rooms were good at the price point. but badly lit. location is also fine. approachable to market area. But service was a pain point. NO WATER for hours in rooms/ washrooms. no water in common washroom. food was good in brkfst, but dont take chinese--it was distasteful.. WE found 1 metal wire in our food and on showing it to the manager the reply was ok sorry sir. not much bothered he was. so overall very average .

Good breakfast they have multicuisine restaurant and serve Thai Chinese Italian and Indian foods. They have 14 rooms and they are in a very good view area. Overall good hospitality and good service we will recommend to our friends and family

Overall a wonderful experience. With a kid we booked the super deluxe room and the stay and amenities were all excellent. What we enjoyed the most was the food. They serve a wide variety and we tried different options almost everyday. The location of the hotel is such that it falls in between the famous sites of Coonoor and was a blessing in disguise too. Thank you to the staff for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

It is overpriced, by seeing the photos I was expecting huge garden and resort feel, but by reaching there disappointed by hotel. It is just hotel with full of plants collection. Pros: nice room decor , spacious rooms with huge beds . Very good decks for all rooms we can chill with Nature. Location is centre to reach easily. But difficult to park the car 🚘. Overall it was good experience. Food is amazing. cost of food is little expensive however the quality of food is very good. Staff and service is very Good. Parking seems to be little challenging as there is a space constraints.

We stayed at the Upper Deck Villa for 1 night. The property is well-maintained, spacious and luxurious. The interiors of the property are as depicted in the pictures. The washrooms were clean and lavish, and are equipped with good quality toiletries. The balconies are large and well-lit. The outdoor space is well decorated and sufficient for hosting small parties. The staff is cordial and prompt in resolving any issues.

Don't pay unless you have arrived to the hotel, and have seen the hotel on arrival. "Don't loose your money" It is in very bad shape. They wl show you their best room online and offer something really not worth staying with family. I would never book this for my guest again. We also went by the other reviews and my guest had to leave immediately as the hotel is not at all clean. They have taken pictures of the facility so before you book "be aware and be careful"

Stayed here for a night. Hotel small, gives a feel of boutique hotel. Check-in was smooth. Room alloted to us was on ground floor, at the end of corridor. Going to room felt like, walking through store room. There were spare tables, mattress and some engineering equipments lying in the corridor. Room itself was cozy. Bed was large enough and comfortable. Bathroom was extremely small. Cable connection to TV was not working. When we brought this to manager's notice, they first tried to change the set-top box, then fiddled it with for almost 40 min and then finally replaced STB with one working in their restaurant. So not likable experience on this front. Restaurant is nice. Food was good. Even the breakfast was tasty. Overall, for the price paid, did not feel like value for money. I'm sure there must be better options available in Coonoor.

Placed on the 1st floor in Conoor, we relished on the buffet of this restaurant-The Quality. The service is a bit slow but that's because the food is delicious and so the foodies live to flock here. 9 course meal, 3 desserts... its yum. Loved the soup( French onion) and the starters, Thai chicken and crispy corn... they were just yum!! Must eat here with family.

Nice cozy restaurant and nice food. Mr. Yogesh Manager did a good job and so was Hari who served us. Hari can speak very good Hindi as well. Tasted mojito‘s, byrani, varieties of chicken and of course warm water. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and hospitality… if you like mild masala and local delicacies plz come here and enjoy 💐

After spending 2 days in Ooty and Coonoor finally had a good lunch and really enjoyed it. Place got nice ambiance and professional staff. When i entered there was buffet serving for 599/ persons and looked nice to us but we didn’t try buffet. Place is neat and clean.. They also have terrace option which I assume should be booking in advance as all the tables of the area were reserved. We had parota, Chef’s specials Chicken curry and Schezwan Fried rice. Parota could be little soft, chicken was good and fried rice was ok. But Gulab Jamun was amazing 😋 Overall food and service was Good and satisfactory 👍 Happy to give 4 star as there are always a scope for improvement 😊

Utterly disgusting… Quality inn used to be my go to restaurant as I associated with the hills over the years. after a long time ordered a butter chicken. I have posted the pictures. The chicken was badly burnt which made the gravy so bitter . The gravy was green in colour and you can see palak greens in it . They have just modified some palak gravy put burnt chicken and sugar and made it butter chicken. What was most disheartening was the way they justified when I called to check on it immediately thinking may be the parcel was mixed up. Dissappointed.. totally.

The food, in particular main course was little cold and not that tasty but starters were good in taste. The atmosphere inside as well as at rooftop was good and service by Mr Abu was excellent. Overall, a nice experience but they can improve upon the main course.

They took time to bring the food. Staff were really nice and attentive. Ambience is nice. We didn’t like the food much. Their biryani is good. We ordered some mutton fry, it’s just full of pepper. Ordered a chicken curry which has too much of coconut flavour and not that nice.
