the pizza was decent, but the amount of topics was quite moderate, I write a 1 star review because of the bill at the end. First, they charged a cover charge. It was an additional 2.50 each (including for child). Unpleasant surprise. Second, we ordered a plate of plain pasta for a child with nothing on it and were charged 11 euros... just for a simple plate of plane pasta with nothing on it for a child. That is insane.

We had to wait a little before finding a table and later on we found out why it was so popular. Delicious plate and cute location, the staff is very friendly and accommodating too. Don't miss their timballo della casa, aka the sardinian flan di latte, best dessert ever

Outstanding! The original Italian cuisine is still served here. You don't go home on an empty stomach. The staff is very friendly. The owners are always very welcoming, friendly and cordially. We ate there 4 times and were not disappointed once. You have to taste the original Fregola!

The place is at a nice location near the castel of posada, has decent rooms and its wroth staying there. However the great thing is actually the restaurant. Very nice, patient and multilingual service (english / german / italian so far). They even had vegan options so my fiance was super happy each time we ate there.

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff and nice tasting food simple and for a fair price! We had different pastas but they also serve pizza, fish, etc. Portions were big and we got a sweet ravioli from the house. Nice touch! Atmosphere was nice.

One of my favorite places in Sardinia. Marco e Caterina have a lovely team and have the best typical sardinian dishes. Many locals are coming to this place since it has a family like atmosphere with high quality food at a good price. I've tried multiple dishes over time and was always thrilled by the food and location.

Excellent food with good service and not too expensive (for tourist prices). The patio area was cool, shady and the waiting staff were always nearby to help you. The restaurant felt a little classier than some of the others in town too, if you're thinking about a birthday or anniversary meal and want to avoid beige tiling

We went for dinner tonight. We got to the restaurant at 8:45 and immediately asked for a bottle of water and then ordered our food at 8:50: 2 antipasto, and two main dishes. We had to ask twice for the water as the waiter “forgot” and once they brought it, they of course forgot the glasses which we had to ask for. The antipasto was served at 21:15, and at 22:10, the main dishes were still no where to be seen. We asked our waiter and he said he’d go check and “bring it immediately”… but he came back 5 minutes later to ask us what it was we had ordered. At 22:25 my partner got his plate while I had to wait till, meaning we ate part of our dinner separately. Conclusion, it was a terrible experience. We feel sorry and disappointed as we came to Marco and Caterina last summer and loved it, reason why we decided to come again.

The service, the food , the atmosphere were absolutely amazing! Out of 5 days we stayed in Posada, we went to Donatella 4 times. We tried different dishes and all of them were delicious. The service was so good, that we could not believe we were in Italy. The stuff spoke very good English and was super polite. They gave us tips about local food. Family friendly. The prices were reasonable. We highly recommend Donatella to everyone who stays in the area! Thank you!

Simple but ok rooms, our veranda was useless because of the noise from the road. The restaurant was very good, and the staff was excellent. We ate dinner in the restaurant almost every day, because it was that good. Checkout was a bit problematic and took some time since they wanted to charge for the room twice (it was already prepaid).

Having dinner tonight at this place we have to say, absolutely perfect. Very friendly, excellent service, helpful. We had fish and the quality was great. All the staff was extremely friendly and we enjoyed a very nice evening in this restaurant!!!

Excellent. We had fresh fish, antipasto degustazione di mare, tartare di tonno, fregola con cozze e vongole and 2 delicious desserts home made. Ingredients are really fresh. Service is lovely and prompt. Very recommended also for family with children. They are looking after you and them in a perfect way. The restaurant I think has been renovated and it's nice, modern and chic. Staff has recommended a lovely bottle of white local vermentino quite fruity. It was delicious. Price is fair with the fresh ingredients and service. We will come back

Very nice restaurant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to us and our toddler. We had some very nice pizzas and the food was very tasty. I would recommend this place, certainly good service and the playlist (reggae cravings) was very enjoyable too.

Nothing special, but they still deserve full five stars. The staff is friendly, ready to find a free table even when it is fully occupied, the location in the garden is convenient. Thank you for a pleasant experience.

Very nice location for dinner. The pizza is smelling nice and the prices are very low. We had a bottle of house wine and it was delicious. The staff was very nice and helpful. All in all nice stay in the garden of the restaurant.

We were a party of 8 people for dinner. The food was very good especially the Paccheri with fresh tuna and the pork chop which was tasty and moist. Varied menu with plenty of pizza options. Very good house wine too. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. This is definitely a place to recommend. We’ ll be back!!

Loved this restaurant! The atmosphere was very nice and cozy, the tables in the grass and nice dimmed lights made for a perfect dinner. Food was good, the service was a 10, fast and kind servers. Both times we went they invited us to try their digestifs. We tried various restaurants in the village but only came back to this one. I recommend 100%

We came here twice in our holiday in Sardinia and both times everything was wonderful. Both fish and pizzas were extremely delicious and the service was just incredible. Everyone was very helpful and kind and the whole experience was really great!

We had 2 dinners there and both times the food was just great. We had: a platter of cheese, gnochetti, ravioli, sausage in tomato sauce, pork, dessert and wine. For the sausage with tomatoes, it really impressed me how the onions and tomatoes were cooked, because the onions were still a bit crunchy, but not acidic at all. Same for the tomatoes. The herbs added were also super tasty. The service was also great. Tables are limited to 2 adults + children. In addition, the price is fair. This place is definitely a must if you stay in the region.

This is just a great place for dinner. They specialise in Sardinian dishes all prepared with local fresh ingredients. And you can taste it. Everything is full of flavour and love. They have just a handful of tables so you can be sure the owners will take very good care of you, will explain the menu and stop for a chat when they have time. We have been coming here for a few years and make sure we visit this trattoria at least once during our stay. And every time we leave wanting to come back. A special mention to the dessert as the owner uses some very local ingredients and flavours like pompia or helicrysum. A must if you visit Sardinia.

Very good food and friendly service. The waitress spoke a bit of English. The menu is pretty small but the pasta felt homemade and delicious.

We had our best dinner here on our Sardinia vacation. The veggies were fresh and tasty, the tomato sauce was outstanding. The staff was so friendly. Reservation is recommended.

My review is a bit late, I visited this restaurant multiple times in September 2017. Usually I don’t rate all restaurant with 5 stars. However comparing this restaurant with the other restaurants in the neighborhood, this is the best place to go. Lovely people, great and authentic homemade dishes with traditional Sardinian products. The restaurant is quite small so try to make a reservation. Wish I could go back sometime, Millina and Tommaso thank you!
