Bistro
Breakfast restaurant
The Secret Garden is a garden center bistro that offers beautiful views of the countryside and has a vaulted ceiling. It serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Today, the food was fantastic with generous servings and a wide selection of gluten-free options. The staff were friendly and attentive, even offering assistance to those with injuries by providing access to the lift. This thoughtful gesture helped relieve some stress for customers with elderly relatives. The dessert and coffee were also delicious, particularly the large tray bake.
Delicious lunch and dessert, great portions. We had the Hawaiian Chicken Burger with chunky chips and Panini and skinny fries. Followed by lemon meringue and cheesecake of the day. Empty plates all round.

Very enjoyable experience. Nice restaurant with varied and wide ranging menu. Staff pleasant and service very good. Food was to a high standard. I had the hake with green veg and very nice yet complex sauce and my wife the chicken stack with chips. Good range of starters and desserts and tray bakes.
Harry Smyth — Google review
A very welcoming garden centre, freshly and well-stocked with good parking. An interesting layout and good variety of plants and clothing left me having a good-feel visit. Also had a meal in the cosy and atmospheric cafe/restaurant which, with COVID restrictions in place, had table service. Good food at an acceptable price. Well worth the visit.

Really nice restaurant ( gift shop), has a lift to first floor. Great service, big portions. Best Scampi I've ever had. Chips could have done with 30-60 seconds more- just slightly firm. Good desserts and coffee.
Zena Braithwaite — Google review
We were there after a funeral as a booking. The waitress upstairs with us was quite abrupt on a number of occasions. The talk of the day was, "well that waitress had no tact at all". It's a shame because the rest of the staff were lovely, always around to top up our teas and coffees, plus the food was great. Good customer service should always be expected but when it's a funeral gathering a little sensitivity should be added in.

Fantastic meal today at secret garden! Great portions and also had lots on menu for gluten free so I was delighted. Staff were also lovely, they even approached me to ask if I required assistance and offered me use of the lift because they seen I had a bandaged ankle! This was great help as I had my grandmother with me so took a bit of stress off! We even ventured for dessert and coffee for after and the tray bake I had was huge and so tasty! I will definitely be back again very soon. Thank you again to the staff for a great service, they are a credit to Secret Garden!
Sarah Warnock — Google review
Food was outstanding as always, and I highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed. The main courses need a few more gluten-free options, but I was able to get something off the menu that suited me perfectly.
Joanne Rodgers — Google review
Staff member was very rude. Taken dishes away when not everyone had finished. Not even letting children with special dietary requirements have their own food in with them even though my friend and i were paying costumers. Never had this problem in any other restaurant.

We hadn't been for a while. Disappointed there was no chicken burger with pepper sauce but the lovely waitress said they could do it for me. It was really nice and the fries were too. I also really appreciated her letting us move tables because there was a large table with screaming children beside us and we couldn't hear ourselves speak. Looking forward to going back soon.

Went here for my birthday, the menu looked realistic and cool as I got the hot dog meal, here's pictures

Absolutely fantastic service! Incredible food (the best Nachos I have ever had). The burger was also exceptional! Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!
Jason Murtaugh — Google review
Very yummy food however the portion sizes are massive! I had the pasta and it came with a side which seems unnecessary as it was a waste of food but it definitely is just personal opinion. The staff were lovely.
Caitlin Nicholl — Google review
We all enjoyed the food and staff were friendly however service was very slow! Other tables seemed to be getting service a lot better than we were! I had to ask for the desert menu and waited 20 minutes and nobody came to ask if we were ready to order, ended up leaving and my little girl was very disappointed so ended up taking her elsewhere for her dessert after spending a lot on dinner! Food was good however undecided if i would return based on their lack of service!

Went here for dinner after a trip to the cinema. Food was nice although not overly warm (apart from the chips). Staff a little lacking in enthusiasm. We did have an extra item, which wasn't ordered, on our bill but when we pointed it out a new bill was issued. Overall an enjoyable meal but a little lacking in atmosphere.
Louise Mcconnell — Google review
Have been a regular at Wolfes since it opened in 2009. Never had a bad meal. Absolutely love it!
Naomi Richardson — Google review
Myself & my friend were served overcooked dry chicken, we ordered two separate dishes. Massive portions which doesn't make up for poor quality. Our server was lovely & offered to bring us a fresh dish. We refused as it should have been sent out like that in the first place. So disappointed. The place was also freezing

Great diner. Order the mushroom and garlic steak. Was great. All staff were really friendly, helpful and always there. Would recommend for parties or a quick bite to eat..

Would recommend their christmas menu !! So so good and affordable, the vegetarian option was unreal. Friendly staff as always, we usually go for breakfast which is 10/10 as well

Love it!!! Foods amazing , fantastic dinosaur theme. Staff are courteous and professional in every way. A very welcoming, family atmosphere. Lots of options on the menu for all preferences. This is one diner we will definitely be returning to in the future.

What can I say, this place was fabulous. I don't say this often but the ulster fry (Mega Fry) was a real belly buster, cooked to perfection, with heaps of dead pig and bread, just what I love. The cappuccino was a work of Barista art and it went down very well. I didn't think I'd go back in a hurry due to being full up all that day but two days later we returned, probably a bit too late in the evening but the team served us a late dinner and I ordered a burger 12oz which came with curly fries and chicken and everything, very impressive and very tasty. Wolves helped make our holiday more enjoyable, great food in a lovely restaurant and good service on both visits. We'll done folks.

Diner
Blue Chicago Grill Dundonald is a lively American-style restaurant that offers a variety of delicious dishes such as burgers, grilled steaks, and BBQ ribs. The menu also includes gluten-free options for easy ordering. One of the highlights of their menu is the wings, which can be ordered either hot and spicy or BBQ-style. With prompt service and quick delivery of drinks, customers are able to enjoy their meals without any hassle. The chicken strips are generously sized and the Brisket stack is particularly impressive.
My go to place for dinner. Friendly staff, good service and always a great feed... Food good, deserts class and resalable prices.
William Young — Google review
Absolutely loved it. The food was soo good and there was a lot of it, you will definitely not be able to move after eating here, which to me is a plus 😂. The price is good too, we had 2 starters, 2 mains, 3 drinks and a coffee for £35. The waiters/waitresses were really nice as well, very friendly and helpful. Went back for breakfast not that long after having dinner there and it was just as nice and just as good as the evening time. Definitely worth going if you are looking for good food and a good atmosphere.

Booked here for a party of 18 for my brother in-laws birthday. From the time of booking and having the party, the service was 5star. The staff from pre ordering the food and service by 2 young gentlemen went totally smoothly. Arriving with a party of 18 can be stressful but they made it so easy. Very attentive and helpful. We had 2 people in wheelchairs and they were happy to arrange the tables to accommodate. Will defo be back and would recommend this restaurant for future party's.

Food was really nice, the honey bbq wings were amazing and staff were very friendly and helpfull
Conor Mcdermott — Google review
Top-line: Not Worth It! I doubt I'll be back here again, it simply wasn't even close to being worth the money. I had the honey garlic chicken sizzler but there was practically no honey or garlic flavour at all. It was just a dry, overcooked, crispy chicken sizzler with the only other flavours being the few veg that came with it. Simply not good enough for £17.50 - this is the same cost of a main course in The Dirty Duck or in The Old Inn in crawfordsburn. I actually had the same dish (or close enough) in The Dirty Duck before, £18 there I believe, and boy oh boy does that extra 50p go a long way. They really need to cook the chicken for a shorter time and it is literally crying out for a glaze or a sauce on the side. How much would a a small spot of delicious sauce cost them, 20p or there abouts. Partner had a aimilar story with the beef and bird sizzler. Her beef was ok and the chicken was, again, massively overcooked. The saving grace here was that at least she'd a wee pot of pepper cream sauce to give the meat a little flavour. Then there's their general pricing. They charge you £4 to upgrade your side to "house fries". I would have liked the salt n chilli fries. At £6 they are £2 more expensive than the normal sides that are included with your meal. It's only £2 but come on, why are they being stupid when trying to upsell something? Had to decline on principal. You can verify everything I've complained about in the photos I've uploaded with this review, including their rediculous pricing. Edited only to fix some typos I made on my phone. Content is exactly the same as before.

Fast service for a busy weekday evening. Burgers were huge, and the £2 extra to upgrade our fries were well worth it.

I can't say enough good things about this place we went here for my 30th birthday dinner all of us had a good time the service was great they even gifted me a birthday muffin with a candle they were so nice I will say we did have to wait about 10mins good vegetarian menu and when you ask for no cheese they give you no cheese

Greeted promptly served surprisingly quickly with our drinks. The chicken strips were big and the Brisket stack was awesome . Will definitely be back here .
Paul Harrison — Google review
Very good food and drinks, the fried chicken was absolutely delicious and the cocktail pitcher was tasty yet strong. The service was super fast and the waitress was attentive and friendly. Great price, super cheap, only 40 pound for two entrees and a cocktail pitcher. Lots of spacious indoor seating.

I have been following these guys on Insta for a while and jumped at the opportunity to try there food, was absolutely not disappointed at all! The burger was a 5* effort from top to bottom, the service was fantastic and for a Friday night the atmosphere was great. Plenty of people around but no shortage of staff for service with everyone on shift clearly having a good time. It made me miss the good times I've had working in restaurants over my career to be honest. Blue Chicago has sky rocketed into my top 5 places to eat in Northern Ireland and i encourage everyone to find out why.
Jay Mcgrath — Google review
Amazing food, though pricey. The service is great, but it can be tricky to catch their attention if you need something or wish to pay the bill. All in all, a great place.
Chris Mason — Google review
I'm delighted we discovered a decent restaurant in Belfast because the food was soo delicious. However, because of the powerful odor, my husband had politely inquired with the waiter if they were remodeling the place. "Yeah, but you can go to the next restaurant if you want; they have almost the same menu!" was his reply. Honestly, we thought that was strange and impolite! He might have said this because he noticed our children and was worried about the strong smell for young children, or he might have said it because he didn't give a damn about customers and acting rudely. To be honest, though, this didn't interfere with the service—it was excellent, and we will definitely revisit.

Sugar Rays is an exceptional eatery, offering a plethora of delectable dishes. Their menu boasts an array of enticing meals, comprising various combinations, special deals, vegetarian options, a festive Christmas feast, and an assortment of pizzas that even cater to gluten-free diets. Moreover, their beverage selection is equally remarkable, encompassing both alcoholic and non-alcoholic concoctions alongside hot drinks and milkshakes. Indulging in their delightful desserts is also highly recommended.
This place does really nice burgers and skinny fries. The veggie options in the burger are great as well and recommended. They do a deal on the beers and also ticket to films at Omniplex nearby. Recommended place if you're in Dundonald ice bowl.

This place was nothing close to what we had in mind when we booked a lunch table one rainy afternoon. It was absolutely amazing, everything, from the service, the staff and the foods, yumm.. the foods were gorgeous. My favourite was the ribs, woww. If you are into ribs, you won't be disappointed here, you just know you are up for a real treat. Can't recommend it highly enough. Just a nice and lovely place with very clean toilets and child friendly too which is important to families

Sugar Rays is an American style restaurant serving burgers, steaks, pizzas etc. The menu is extensive and there are many dishes which I would like to try. We started with Chilli Cheese bites which were a great starter dish. My wife had a chicken burger and I had the Giganti stack which was very tasty and filling! It had real champ, chicken breast, bacon and beef brisket topped with peppered sauce. I really enjoyed it. I was too full for a dessert but at £8 each they would need to be pretty special! I would definitely go back to Sugar Rays because there's lots to choose from on the menu and the service was really good. I recommend it!
George Stewart — Google review
The burgers here are great and the chicken is even better. This will defintely be one of my new favourite spots in the Belfast area - the service was quick and friendly too. The atmosphere is nice and has a modern diner style interior. The only downside is that the chicken strips portion could be better for the price of the meal. Still a really great experience and great meals for a meal out!

Sugar Rays was absolutely amazing! Their menu has so many good looking meals on it with many different combos, deals, vegetarian options, a Christmas meal, and a selection of pizzas which included gluten free based pizzas if required. They also make amazing drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic as well as hot drinks and milkshakes. They have a lovely range of desserts as well. The staff here were extremely nice, the service here was also great as our meals were made super quick and still maintained amazing quality to the point that the food melted in your mouth. This is an amazing place to eat out with family and to take your date out to and I'll definitely be going here again. I need to try more of the menu!

Staff great, food is OK. I thought it was fresh bbq but it's premade. Which is alright, but not great. Portions are huge and they will give you a box for leftovers of you ask. They did bring a birthday muffin out for our neice and played Happy Birthday for her and she was all biz.

During my first visit to Café Nosh, I was thoroughly impressed by the overall experience. The hot chocolate that I had was absolutely exceptional, and my friend enjoyed a delicious and perfectly cooked breakfast. The staff members were incredibly friendly, and the prices were reasonable. On my next visit, I plan to indulge in one of their enticing traybales or meringue buns which looked truly incredible on display. The café itself is not only beautiful but also well-maintained and clean.
I took my kids here for a bit of lunch and I must admit I was shocked. The food here is amazing and the staff can't do enough for you. This place is well worth the money. Would highly recommend it

We booked Phil and the Cafe Nosh team for our wedding recently at Malone House. Phil was very helpful in the planning and preparation stages. The food on the day was superb quality and delicious. All special dietary requirements were met and many guests said how much they enjoyed the meal. Thank you for all your help and would highly recommend.

First time visiting nosh..really impressed..I had a hot chocolate. Which was amazing. My friend had a huge cooked breakfast which he said was delicious and cooked to perfection staff were very friendly. Not overly expensive, next time I go back I am.going to try one of their traybales or meringue buns that were on display. They looked out of this world. The premises are beautiful. Very clean too, highly recommended.

Left before eating. The place is filthy and always has been. No idea how it hasn’t been closed down if it’s that dirty where the customers are how dirty are their kitchens? Laughed at their prices. Not sure why I tried again. As it’s always been dirty. Overflowing bins outside. Too charge so much but not even pick up dirty spoons on the floor or clean their baby changing area or sweep their floor to me is unreal

Nice, quaint place. First time there.one of the ladies didnt look overly friendly based on an interaction l witnessed with a customer but its generally a nice place. The inside is beautiful too though our table was wobbly. The food was lovely though bacon was pre cooked and so itnwas dry, same with the sausages. But again l would still go back.
Constance Sibanda — Google review
Food is fine if a little on the expensive side, however portion sizes are generous. Service can't be faulted either but Nosh really really desperately needs redecorating and furniture and fittings updated. Shabby chic it is not. More like knackered and smacking of meanness.
Peter Ferguson — Google review
The fry was OK. It was very dry. Sausages were of poor quality. Bread hard and dry, not the way a fry should be. Obviously wasn't fried in oil the way a fry should be. The chicken ceaser salad was all lettuce and not much else. Coffee tasted cheap. Disappointed.
Robin Cairns — Google review
Was there this morning and had the vegan option. I was so excited to see vegan options on the menu as often hard to get anywhere. It sounded great on the menu and but it was disappointing. The mushrooms where missing the tofu was not eatable it was far too spicy (I'm well used to spicy foods) this was on another level. Toast was burnt aswell. Couldn't taste the tofu. No one came to us to check if everything was ok with our meal. Really bad and wouldn't recommend to anyone unfortunately. Far nicer places locally that cater for vegans so don't waste your time here.
