Not been for a while, I should pop in more often. Lovely and eclectic beer garden busy when I was there Saturday afternoon. Exterior of the pub has had a makeover too. Coors £4.40 a pint.

Well I have never felt less welcome in a bar than I did today! The person behind the bar was miserable not a friendly bone in her body! Given filthy glass for one of the drinks it made me feel guilty asking for a clean one! No friendly welcome here today! Shall be voting with my feet.... And they won't be going across the threshold again, if it's too much trouble to be nice when you make two hot drinks and two Bailey's in ice my advice is that you dear! Are in the wrong trade.... I can say this as I have run several bars and country pubs in my time so my review is well founded. Cheers!

Went there for Sunday lunch as per pictures. Why are you advertising food for sale when it isn't? Bar lady said you haven't done food for ages, bar was OK though but had to go elsewhere for food. In respond to your question the Google overview shows a menu button and link to restaurant guru, where you have good reviews, people dont tend to look much beyond that and it's easy to change

Beautiful little beer garden to the rear. Went to see Drag Act Miss Syren. Great atmosphere and reasonably priced drinks.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and Pizza Express. We had a very pleasant meal in a relaxed environment. We had 3 drinks; 2 were cappuccino's and one was only tepid at best which was disappointing. We had GF dough balls with pesto, which were very good and garlic bread with cheese. I would say that, although very nice, the garlic bread represented poor value due to its small size by comparison with a pizza (and price) and also considering the portion you can get at the restaurant across the car park. That said, the pizzas were very nice, the restaurant was clean and the service was as relaxed as the environment. The gluten free options were plentiful and gave no adverse reaction which is always a worry when visiting a new restaurant.

I think the atmosphere and the experience of going is worth a trip. The food and the non-alcoholic drinks were were extremely tasty. I have knocked a star off for cleanliness. Although the table was clean the chairs had remnants from previous customers which we had to brush off. Apart from that. Well worth a trip.

Pizza Express is an absolute delight! The restaurant's cozy ambiance and scrumptious pizzas make it a top choice for Italian cuisine enthusiasts. I had the pleasure of being served by Robert, and his service was exemplary. He was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu, making our dining experience truly enjoyable. I highly recommend Pizza Express, especially if you're lucky enough to have Robert as your server!

Went in on Sunday evening and didn’t have to reserve, walked straight in and was seated immediately. Our server was prompt and courteous. The starters were delicious, the garlic bread with mozzarella were a bit dry but the flavours were there. The pizzas was honestly amazing, easily up there with one of the best pizzas I’ve ever tasted, nice and crispy. Only problem I saw was that there are no condiments, you have the option to buy a few limited dips at 0.75p each which is a bit steep for some of them. Takeaway review: ordered online via deliveroo, most of the food arrived hot but the pizzas were a bit cold, we also got the wrong pizzas. Luckily we’re not too fussy and ate them anyway.

Never been here before. Excellent pizza, lovely thin n crispy crust as advertised and my favorite base. Waitress service excellant, good value for money. Can't give 5 stars ONLY BECAUSE a proper Italian has ambiance and this didn't, but the music was cool. I'd definitely visit a Pizza express again.

Great experience! We arrived just after opening time and were seated quickly and our orders were taken quickly also (but we weren't rushed). The food arrived promptly and was spot on! The Arancini starter I ordered was excellent, very tasty and not too filling. The main for myself was a Veggie Mushroom Pizza which was delicious! My wife also enjoyed her dough ball starters and her American Pizza. All in all, great visit and no complaints at all! We also used the app to check our order and pay at the end (with tip due to the polite and friendly service we received). Cheers 🥂

For a Saturday lunchtime, it was rather quiet as i was seen to and seated immediately. My server was incredibly nice but seemed a bit nervous - she got the job done nonetheless. I did have to wait a short while for the food, but it was worth it. The dough balls were piping hot, straight from the oven, and the pasta was beautifully done yet again

Standard, great food here, but after waiting for about ten minutes by the door before someone came to seat us, we were shown to this half wiped table that had a smelly old dishcloth abandoned on it. We asked to sit on a table over, but the staff didn’t move the rag for at least another half an hour. They didn’t look especially busy, just not very switched on.

First time ive ever been too any Pizza Express, you can get pizza most places on a standard menu, even Wetherspoons do a decent one. So when looking for somewhere specializing in Pizza, i.e, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, you expect something special.... the Pizza here is pretty much on par with what you get Frozen in a Supermarket. Service was poor too. A good 10 minutes between being seated and having drinks orders taken. By which time we had chosen food (which is confusing as Pizzas offer no size options, you see different sizes going round but have no idea what size youre getting as you arnet offered choice) Took over an hour to get starter (Mozarella salad and chicken wings) was busy but not overly, wait was ridiculous. Wings were really good, big bottles of Peroni went down a treat, lady who seated us could not of been more polite, waiters were really friendly and its a nice touch you can see the Chefs preparing fresh dough in the central display open area...... Just a real shame about the Pizzas really.

We went for tea here. Me and my two sons. It was the height of the Friday night rush, and Emma our server couldn't have been more polite and relaxed. Thr atmosphere was lively and welcoming, and they seemed genuinely interested in chatting. One of my kids knocked over his drink and Alex, the manager, quickly and thoroughly cleaned everything away. Super helpful! The food was great, and the service was brilliant, what a lovely team!

Having not been to a pizza express for years, I was so glad it was just as amazing as before! Our server Emma was approachable, polite, very chatty and she really cared about us. It’s the little things when you yourself as the customer receive a compliment so she definitely needs one back as she made our visit even more delightful. We will definitely come back and I hope everyone who works there has a lovely Christmas :) x

My wife and I came to eat on a weekday lunch time in the middle of a trip to Ikea, and we had a lovely time. We were able to walk from the ikea in minutes. We were seated promptly and we enjoyed talking to the waiter who served us. He was quick and attentive. On this occasion we had calamari starters, followed by two pizzas and a glass of wine for main, followed by their lime and basil sorbet for desert with some coffee.

Food half price on a Friday, so great value. Just not many staff, so by the time your served and you've paid your food is somewhat cool. Pay first is my suggestion.

Reasonable prices basic food - bit of a factory feel and incredibly busy on a Sunday afternoon. If you’re hungry when you get to the restaurant - eat - as you’ve another hour or so left in the shop 🤣

A half full restaurant, lots of staff members, only one person actually serving, no savoury food in the fridges at all, a 20 deep queue. Zero hustle, slow and sloppy - reminds me of France!

Ikea Leeds at approx 4-30 today. Food was the worst food I've ever eaten. Cold chips, cold stodgy salmon, clap cold peas, cold onion rings. Coffee hot. The cafe has been getting worse now for a long time. There's no cold foods eg salmon salads. the mash was sticking to the side of the serving dish , the fried fish was very thin and the batter was almost black at £6-50 it looked appalling hence not purchasing it. I did wonder why the cafe was absolutely empty and remained so for almost half an hour. What a poor show it was I will never eat in that establishment again. Many people walked in and looked at the food and walked out a few people purchased drinks only. As a massive company you should be ashamed of the dreadful unappetising food that you are trying to sell to the general public who by the way are not stupid. Yes we could have taken it back but there was no alternatives, and certainly no substitutes. What has gone wrong?? years ago when Ikea first came to the area it was guaranteed that a very good meal could be purchased even though the plate was never full. Now the plate is even less full all the food is cold and the cost has escalated . We paid almost £20 for rubbish simply pure unadulterated rubbish. Our money would have been better spent on a hot dog which was around £1.00. I have in the past told my friends it is worth the wait for food as it was very good and reasonably priced. I will now tell everyone I know not to throw money away at the cafe. I would like a response please ,= Wendy Duckworth

My visit yesterday was absolutely shocking. I used to love coming to the restaurant. Vegi sausages were like sawdust and there is no option to swap items. At lunchtime there was only one server and she left to put some more chips on. Massive queue n no more staff came. All food just sat there getting cold while she's spending ages counting meatballs. Not her fault as she should of had more help. It was ridiculous. Poor woman next to me only wanted soup she had been queuing for ages to find out they had ran out. Luckily smart women on till heard her complaint n said pay for it now n ill get some baught over when ready. Was very professional of her n kind. Chips were lukewarm n soggy, no salad in fridge although advertised. The only good thing was the cappuccino!!

Slow service and tatty furniture (perhaps a furniture company nearby could supply some new products?). Skeleton staff during the week. 20 minute queues. There’s a piece of music played on a 1 second loop, which after about 10 mins feels like torture.

Fantastic value for money, a coffee and a bacon barm for under a pound! Very clean, there was a gentleman wiping the tables and sweeping the floor the whole time I was there!

Been many times and never had a problem but today there were no knives so we had to eat our lunch without one. Several people had the same problem but nobody brought any, they arrived just as we had finished our lunch.

Gave up on this place after ordering about 6 month ago online to wait 45 mins before then been notified they couldn’t take order despite taking payment. I was refunded eventually but didn’t trust again for a while. I thought I would give it another chance today but fell foul of the exact same thing. No answer to the phone, it still shows open online, and yes my money has been taken. Fingers crossed I get my money back. Please don’t waste your time on this place!

Take your own booze, eat in no frills, simple & basic. Food good & VFM

I have enjoyed getting take aways from Spice Garden since I moved to the area two years ago and have usually found them to be very helpful. Unfortunately that has not been my experience this evening. I used their app to order my food and estimated delivery was 9pm having ordered at 8:15. At 9:20 I rang to check and they said it was on its way. At 9:50 still no food so I rang and asked to cancel the order. The order still wasnt on its way. Understand it's difficult when you are busy but some honesty would have been nice. The man on the phone was rude and when I asked how to cancel an order if I had already paid on the app, he said he didn't know. I asked if he could find out for me and he hung up the phone. I then rang back and asked if he could help. I then gave up trying. Not the level of customer service you would expect from a regular customer. Disappointing.

Really poor service the guy on the phone doesn't have a clue what he is doing gets orders wrong blames other people doesn't no how to apologise for his mistakes waste of money Would definitely avoid plenty more better places to order from

I have been charged for the order, when ordering on their website when apparently they were closed (it was not mentioned anywhere). 13 days later still no refund, even though i have received an email Confirmation that very same day about the refund being processed. I have tried to contact the provider in the email adress but it only allows for a chat with a bot

First time ever ordering from here. My partner ordered the chicken tikka in nan and chips , The nan was light and tasty , only downfall he said was there could of been alittle more meat. Overall though it was tasty and on time ...so we will order from there again .

Food was a four out of five. However, the service left a lot to be desired for. From the moment I walked in, to when I left. On arrival, there was only one other table occupied, a table of four. The server was sat behind the desk at the back of the restaurant, more interested in playing on his phone. When I asked for a table, told to take a seat - waving to the takeaway area. Asked where, he huffily got up and showed me a table. I knew it was offer night, but wasn't sure what the offer was. Deliberated over the menu (which had the offer on the front), and when I was eventually asked if I was ready to order, I said I was and asked about the Wednesday night offer. Angrily told what it consisted of - only to be then told it was a different menu. Once given the correct menu, the server stood over me whilst I had to rechoose what I wanted. Food arrived quickly, and tasted good, full of flavour (thankfully not too spicy, as whilst it is a BYOB - which I didn't), I wasn't offered a single (soft) drink at all. (When I mentioned this, apparently I should of asked - never been to a restaurant yet and not been at least offered a drink!) I was then brought the wrong bill, when I queried this, no actual apology, just "it's this one", producing a bill from under the counter. I think I actually had more interaction and words exchanged with the friendly guy carrying out the deliveries than the guy in the restaurant).

Had a really nice curry from there last night. They are always friendly, my food was a little later to collect than advised on the collection message but good things come to those who wait and they did call me when it was ready.

ordered for delivery. got home to find 4 chapattis missing, called and they were already aware, they asked if we wanted them sending out so said yes, meanwhile we ate the rest of our food 50 mins later still no chapattis, called again to see where the chapattis were got told on the phone driving was just setting off, had already eaten all the dishes, told the guy this and he said to mentioned it next time we ordered but there won't be a next time as the service has put us off, no apology or anything! still didn't receive any chapattis

The manager was very helpful when taking my order but I couldn't have the starter I wanted as they had no grated cheese. Seems like a very basic product to have in any kitchen. I then couldn't have the main course I wanted as they were out of stock. It seems a bit pointless eating out if the selection is considerably less than detailed on the menu, especially at these prices. I honestly cannot see me eating there again.

Quite a regular visit, and every experience is pleasant. The best description I can give for someone who hasn't been to a tgi franchise is it's like a fancy Wetherspoons. You have the same selection at every resteraunt and the same quality just better food and drink available. I would recommend the alaskan iced tea and Frank's Red hot wings. They offer 2 for 1 on cocktails but this is 2 of the same cocktail, you can't mix and match which is a shame. Very good offers if you go for lunch mid week.

Tgi fridays As we arrive there were great smile and good service. Got seated and a good presentation of the menu. We got a mixed starter, there were great and tasteful. As main course the Friday burger with fries. It look ok, but didnt tsste good a little to sweet in my taste. One Thing, it is strange that there is refill on diet Coke and not normal. Im allergic to sweetners, and have to drink regular suger soda. The price is to high if you look at Quality of what you get. A BIG high five to The waiter Safiane for great service.

For starters we had the Cheese & Bacon Potato Skins, in all honestly these really were not that great. Lack of seasoning etc, won’t be having these again. For £6.75 I expect a bit more to be honest. Now onto the star of the show the mains. I had the Fridays® Sesame Chicken Strips with House Fries and these were incredible as they are every time. The Jack Daniels sauce perfectly compliments the chicken. If you’ve not ordered this before you’re missing out! My partner had the Garlic Chicken, she said it was moist and lacked flavour, the fries were a bit greasy but other than that not bad. Overall a not a bad choice, I suppose you know what you're getting with them being a chain.

The menu is small, which is a good thing cause then you don't have to deal with the stress of choosing. We got a starter of mozzarella dippers to share. They were nice and gooey but it was a bit strange that the tomato sauce was mouth burning and the mozarella was not. We then got a main of the New york strip steak and a side of macaroni cheese. The steak had more fat on it than meat, which i found disappointing. Macaroni cheese tasted nice but nothing special. A can of Heinz would have also tasted the same. All in all it was not worth the 81 pounds between the 2 of us. With 1 portion of mozarella dippers, 2 steaks, 1 macaroni and 2 drinks. Service was good. I do feel sorry for the young girl that was working, she was running around like Max Verstappen trying to keep everyone happy. The young male server was nice until he basically told the whole restaurant his girlfriend and 2 friends were coming. When they arrived he dropped everything and went and sat with them for 10 minutes, the poor girl was serving 5-6 tables alone.

Its hard to talk about TGIs and not sound like everyone else as its just a well ran place. The atmosphere was really nice, love the decor. It was a busy Saturday when we came and the staff were friendly and we got a nice table. When it comes to the food it's just superb, the burgers are to die for, and the burger sauce, as you can see by the photo, the burger sauce is just the best. If you do visit, definitely ask for some extra burger sauces 10/10 would recommend

The service at this restaurant was shocking, the waiter looking after our table was rude as soon as we sat down. He shouted at my daughter when our drinks arrived telling her to make sure my two year old grandson didn't spill his drink. Our starter's came out whilst my daughter was in the toilet and were dumped on the table. Worse was yet to come. My grandson was playing between tables, making no noise at all and not bothering any other customers, again the same waiter came to the table and asked us both to control the child. At this point we were both so on edge that the meal was spoilt. This is a family restaurant we were there at lunchtime and when I complained to the manager I was informed this was his best member of staff. I feel sorry for anyone who gets the worst. The price has shot up too and after today we will not be going back. The stars given were for the food only

We had mozzarella dippers and chicken wings to start followed by cajun chicken pasta, sesame chicken and loaded fries for mains (mains in the pic). Nice food, good portion sizes. Got asked to go to the bar for a drink before being seated which seemed to take forever but other than that pretty fast service.

We went 23rd December, but dubious as my son has allergies but their website looked as though they take it seriously (as so many places don't we usually check reviews etc so not a wastes trip) we neednt have worries as soon as I mentioned the allergies we had another person come over to double check our order and ask if we wanted any substitutes. Really impressed with the professionlism and because of this we now have a new favorite restaurant! Keep up the good work TGI

The place to visit, whatever the occasion. Last time it was Halloween, then recently Christmas 🎄 in the air. It might be worth coming in for Valentines or Easter! Even just for the decorations. The Hoisin Wings and pig-in-blankets are excellently succulent if you want to avoid the chilli 🌶 flakes. Or the mocktails. The mixologist came up with a berries dash of strawberry, raspberry, cranberry on crushed ice. Delicious 😋.

We went in for a bite to eat after the cinema and were glad we did. It is a busy place but we were served quickly and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food is more of an American style. I did think the menu looked a little pricey but when we order we realised why, you get more then your moneys worth as the meals are large and really tasty. We enjoyed our meals and will definitely be going back when we get the chance and I would recommend it anyone.

Food was tasty although the steaks weren't cooked as ordered one of the desserts was missed off the order but they did sort it out the waitress who dealt with us was absolutely fantastic couldn't fault her really friendly even posed for photos with our group over all a really great night

Nicely cooked food, however the prices are too high. Went with my boyfriend and paid £52 for 2 average mains (chicken and chips and the ribs) and a drink each. We would have had dessert but all the main meals are over £20 now. Not worth it for the price. Service was good however and the gentleman that served us was very friendly.

The food is good, and staff do a great job. Unfortunately the portions do not match the prices £5 for a portion of fries, Nothing really much under £21, its nice to eat out occasionally, I’ve noticed less people eating at TGI’s
