Seafood restaurant
Before reaching your destination, why not take a break and have lunch at the Osteria La Caletta? This fish restaurant offers a delightful dining experience with stunning views of the sea, especially if you manage to reserve a table on their terrace. They offer a seafood tasting menu that is highly recommended and includes an impressive selection of 20 different appetizers. Additionally, their catch of the day and pasta dishes are also worth trying.
We took the mix of starters (antipasti) based on seafood and fish, composed of twenty plates. It was great! Great variety and nice combinations in a very good value for money. The service was good and we also enjoyed the view to the sea from the terrace.

Mainly seafood 🦞 restaurant 🍽️ with an indoor and outdoor area. During peak season, make sure you reserve. We got the tasting platters for 2, which consists of tapas-like dishes and I’ll be honest, I had no idea what I was eating (even though they explained it) because I grew up in Western Sydney 🇦🇺 🤣 but in my open-minded, new experiences nature, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the vibe. I really wanted the lobster 🦞 ravioli but I was full by the end of it. Try the local vintage 🍷whilst you’re there. White wine from Liguria with seafood 🐟 is 👌🏼

I just had another wonderful meal at La Caletta. The servers are very professional and the food is great. I highly recommend the spaghetti allo scoglio and the crema catalana, my favorites.

Very good restaurants. We got here for dinner and ate the seafood tasting. It was a blast. The meal was very fresh and tasty. You get a lot of small nice courses. Almost like a 20 course meal in one ;) Dessert is phenomenal as well. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful fish restaurant overlooking the sea (if you're lucky enough to get a terrace table). Tasting menu (20 different appetizers) is absolutely recommended, as well as the catch of the day or the pastas. Good wine list centered with local Vermentino bottles (which goes perfectly with the food they serve). Friendly and welcoming staff (not easy to find in Liguria in high season) and totally fair prices (even harder to find). A must stop if you're around Lerici or after a day by the sea of the Golfo dei Poeti.

We had an amazing experience! Been there for lunch, and the restaurant seemed full but Salvatore was so kind to find us a table. We tried the tasting menu, you can't go wrong with it! Flavourful dishes and wonderful staff, definitely come back again. If you are looking for exquisite food, polite staff and a breathtaking view this is the perfect spot!

Very nice place with friendly staff. There is a terrasse on the see side of the road but also a nice terrasse in front of the restaurant. We took two breams from the catches of the day. The fishes were very nicely cooked with tomatoes, potatoes and olives. We also took grilled veggies. Everything was very tasty and the prices are reasonable. If you like my review, give it a thumb 🙂

Seafood restaurant
Upon arrival with their daughter, the customer witnessed a heartwarming scene at the Gambero Nero restaurant. The owner/manager and his family were dining together with the workers, fostering a true sense of camaraderie. This exemplified the authentic spirit of Italy that the customer had been seeking. They were warmly greeted and shown great hospitality throughout their visit. The restaurant provided equal treatment to all customers, serving meticulously prepared dishes that showcased the care and freshness of their seafood and fish offerings.
Very good, honest sea food and nice staff

I arrived with my daughter before the restaurant was even opened and I witnessed a wonderful scene: the owner/manager and his family were all eating with the workers in the same table and sharing the same food. This is the spirit of Italy and it was exactly what I was looking for. I was received with a big smile and hospitality. Regarding the restaurant, it was not a different treatment with the customers. Food was made with a huge care, very tasteful, fresh seafood and fish! They respect the customers and the tourists. The price was very fair and honest. In this place, you will taste what Italy has better to offer! Very much recommended!!!

We stayed here two nights. Our host Big Ben went to great lengths to help us and ensured we had a good stay. The evening meal was delicious and restaurant very busy. Our room was of high standard and had great view towards the sea with great location. Would definately visit here again.

We went there for dinner a week ago. It was our farewell dinner from Liguria. This place is specializing in fish. We had some lovely starters and then we went for the 'sogliola' sole grilled. It came out beautifully served, opened with some palatino fritters and grilled vegetables. The owner, who is really nice without any Iralian attitude chose our wine, which was a perfect Ligurian complement to our fish. The atmosphere was also nice as we were not sitting under floodlights. Not expensive for Italian standards.

Great food and service first time we visited. Second time, it took one hour before they served our antipasti di terra that was described as meatbased but only contained one tomato and some mozzarella slices.
Jenny Andreasson — Google review
OVERPRICED restaurant!!! The grilled fish plate (one small dorade, 2 prawns and 2 octopuses) for 40€ was just too expensive!!! Waiting time was also long and we were mostly ignored by the staff.... But noodles with pesto was alright, linguine with vongole was ok too

I spent a week in Tellaro and my only regret is not going to Il Gambero Nero until the final night of my stay. In a town with excellent seafood this place stands out. Their tasting menu was filled with classics and new tastes, everything was fresh and everything was great. The food was incredible, the feeling was relaxed and the staff was incredible. They were patient with our terrible Italian, but they were much more than that, joyful and generous. They seemed to be loving their evening as much as we were.

Outstanding place for a dinner with friends! Excellent food, very good atmosphere and local vines. Staff is very friendly and has great knowledge about dishes and vines in menu. I'll come back there one day:)

Really good place to have a good meal. Seafood is really good, ask for advice, they will propose you the best recipe of the day, (and is not the most expensive in the menu....) Definitely a place to go!

Ristorante Delfino offers delicious cuisine, with a lunch menu available on TheFork. The prices may be slightly higher, but the quality of the main courses is satisfying, especially if you're not too hungry. They also provide weekly specials in addition to their standard offerings. Their pizza is exceptionally tasty and the staff is friendly. The restaurant boasts a clean environment and a fantastic location, even though it doesn't offer sea views.
Food with an extra effort, improved from previous years. Food has thought and consideration, and is good value. Probably the best restaurant in the area. Bad reviews are mainly from time under previous management, so give them a go! We were surprised how much it has improved from a few years ago.

Food was ok for our two hungry kids but we didn't enjoy it. The food was all frozen and didn't taste fresh. The kids corner was cool, but all in all I wouldn't recommend it. I wonder if the experience was bad because we where there off-season?
Juval Kuerzi — Google review
The pasta bolognese had the same sauce like we have in my country in the wholesale-outlet. Really not freshly made
Benedikt Oberli — Google review
Really good food to eat, I've booked for lunch using TheFork (the menu is not updated with the real prices and dishes), main courses are rich and will be enough if you are not super hungry. The prices are little bit inflated but still worth it. Every week there are additional plates offered to the ones presented in the standard menu. The restaurant makes a really yummy pizza, staff is nice, place is clean and the location is wonderful even if you can't see the nearby sea.

Awful pizza. It didn't look good and it tasted bad. Made the mistake to buy pizza here after a long trip, honestly a random petrol station pizza is better than this. It was thick, amorf, not cooked properly, was pretty raw and the topping was also largely unimpressive. Avoid it.

De pizza was meer een pizzabrood dan een ronde pizza. De timing van het eten was niet goed het kwam niet tegelijk. Desserts waren wel erg lekker om te smikkelen! Wel erg luidruchtig restaurant. (Translated by Google) The pizza was more of a pizza loaf than a round pizza. The timing of the food was not good it did not come at the same time. Desserts were very tasty to taste! Very noisy restaurant.

Nice pizza. We took 3 and a calzone. All very tasty and fresh products. Service very kind and attentive. I was really happy to come!

We ordered grilled Orada with potatoes and vegetables. Fish was good but potatoes and vagetables were over grilled. Pasta with sea food was very good. Fried calamari were fried in oil after some fish, so they tasted like fish and were chewie. Dessert gellato ala creme and apple, cinnamon reisens pie with gellato was good.

We ate dinner there two nights in a row. The service was good and the food was exceptional. We had the linguine with crab, pesto with pasta, and pizza. We enjoyed the family atmosphere and cool evening breeze.

Slechte ervaring met dit restaurant. Personeel erg onvriendelijk. Na 20 minuten genegeerd te zijn door de bediening die enkel stond te roken en op de telefoon te kijken zijn wij vertrokken. I had a remarkable time at Osteria del polpo, an unforgettable place with a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. Situated near the charming 'porto' of Tellaro, it offers breathtaking views of Golfo dei Poeti. The menu is small but fascinating, combining modern and local traditional dishes. A knowledgeable local wine expert oversees an impressive wine selection. The service is exceptional and the presentation of the food is top-notch. Prices are surprisingly affordable for such an overall outstanding experience.
Tellaro is a tiny village … this restaurant is so nice ! Sea view in terrace overlooking Portovenere , nice people , very good food ! I’ve tried warm sea salad , grilled octopus 🐙 very good ! Local Vermentino top ! And levels owners and service ! Stop here ! Love it 😍 August 2023 Attention ! I knew changed the owner need to taste still !

Very fresh fish and vegetables, the food was great. The service is fast but could be much better. We went also for their ice-cream and it was delicious!!!

This restaurant is fantastic. Yes, the menu is in Italian so we used Google translate to know about the choices on the menu. The courses where amazing!! I really recommend this place to go get dinner. The staff is very friendly and will help you in any way, not all of them speak very good English but they will try in any way to please you. Also an amazing view and please... Don't skip dessert. Best dessert ever.

I had an amazing experience that I will certainly remember. This is not a cheap touristy place where you get seated and served in a hurry! The tables are set right next to the little 'porto' of Tellaro, with a relaxed but elegant vibe and a stunning view of the Golfo dei Poeti. Food was excellent with a small but interesting menu that blends modern and local traditional recipes. My local wine expert noted a good selection of wines and we all enjoyed great service. Presentation was quite professional and prices are very low compared to the overall experience.

Great position, tasty food but the service is really slow. If you are patient enough, the overall experience is good.
Nataliya Bozhilova — Google review
Unfortunately not a good experience. The pizzas that we ordered was not delivered. A restaurant can make mistakes, but it’s was unfortunate that instead of fixing the problem, they acted as that they did not care at all of the customer. I believe that their kitchen is good, but unfortunately no structure and no sense of what makes a customer service. When ordered a traditional Cosmopolitan (that was on the menu) I got a blue/grey drink, undrinkable. When telling the bar tender that it is no Cosmopolitan, no insights into what the problem was, just that they used passion fruit juice and blueberry and surprised that “I did not like it”.

We visited Ristorante Il Fico with our family of seven for Easter Lunch, and we were pleasantly surprised by the scrumptious food and generous number of courses on the tasting menu - precisely 9! This Michelin guide-listed restaurant truly lives up to its reputation. Chef Elia and his team were not only kind but also remarkably knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of trying the delightful local vermentino wine, which complemented the fresh seafood dishes perfectly.
Was first time in that place. Setting is just picture-perfect! We exchanged change seats during our lunch to enjoy both ways to look out from the window table for two. But the meal itself was not less fenomenal than setting. We took a pre-fix bigger menu, and it wasn't much.

Great experience. We had the full fish menu at lunch. Really enjoyable. Chef with high creativity and excellent staff. The wine list is wide enough. Price in line with the quality. Recommended!
Gabriele Nicolini — Google review
As visitors to Il Fico on special occasions, we adore the restaurant. Whether seated inside or out, the ambiance, service, and especially the variety of fish, is remarkable. Besides a fine al la carte offering, the owners specialise in two fixed price menus; the basic Tellaro, and the six course menu Fiascherino. The dishes change with the seasons. The staff are extremely welcoming, and balance the right levels of attention with privacy. Coming from a family of fishermen, they are very knowledgeable about what they serve which is, inevitably, local fish of all types. There is a wide choice of wines, mostly sparkling and whites to accompany the dishes. The setting itself is a delight, overlooking the Gulf of Poets, with sea views from the intimate balcony tables or from the outdoor area, dining under olive trees. Though not cheap dining, the whole package remains exceptionally good value for money. A visit to Il Fico is one of our most treasured experiences.

We came here (family of 7) for Easter Lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and QUANTITY of courses on the tasting menu - 9 to be exact! This restaurant is in the Michelin guide for a reason, Chef Elia and his team were so kind and knowledgeable. We tried the local vermentino wine which was lovely and paired well with the fresh fish dishes. Highly recommend this lovely restaurant located on a hill filled with ancient olive trees with a lovely view of the seaside.

Friendly staff, great wines, nice location and stunning views. However all of this does not make up for the fact that the food was very bad and seriously overpriced. The first course consisted of cod which was way too salty, followed by dishes that were poorly seasoned and/ or overcooked. All in all I would recommend the place if you are looking for a nice glass of wine with great views but definitely not for the food.

This is a beautiful place to have a great meal. We arrived with no reservation. The staff was welcoming and accommodating of several dietary restrictions of our party. The good was excellent, as was the service. Perfectly reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

Very good food at insanely fair prices. Five courses including local wine for around 70 Euros per person. The staff was really friendly and they even offered a vegetarian option for the one vegetarian in our group. (Keep in mind that this is a fish restaurant and they don't have vegetarian dishes on their menu - so they had to improvise which turned out perfect.) Thank you for the great evening!
