Years ago there was an option to buy one pass for 3k and ski on a hill for beginners with an automated mechanism to bring you back up. Now there's no such option and it is harder for beginners to learn. Also one of the BIGGEST drawbacks is that the safety is really poor all around the resort. One could slip off the hill if he/she is unlucky, not careful, etc. But you definitely can have some fun there and enjoy the ride.

Children enjoyed beginner skiing with an instructor (you must hire one instructor per child for AMD 15,000). We also enjoyed the snow tubing. You will spend a fair amount - you pay the rentals (AMD 10,000 per kid), then the instructor, then the ski lift (AMD 3,000 per person), then the tubes (AMD 3,500 for 30 mins) plus of course food and drinks. Staff everywhere is helpful. The on-site restaurant is actually quite good (but don't go for breakfast as they have no options). If you need to book a taxi you have to walk down to the bottom of the hill.

Great place for beginners. Fair lift ticket prices and affordable equipment rental. Not that far from Yerevan. Amazing view of Ararat from the top.

Excellent place for skiing, but now the snow is less due to climate. Need to climb 2nd or 3rd level for good snow. Each level lift for one time charge is 3000 AMD. The weather and staff are great for visitors.

Very beautiful place and the vibes are good . The rope way ( cable car is beautiful) cost 3000 AMD per time or you can buy unlimited rides for 13000 AMD , the skiing is good and so much fun. The restaurant is in the 2nd rope way so you have to buy 2 tickets for 2 different cable cars 🚠. The view is amazing from up there.

Small resort... everything is falling apart, nothing special.there is a poor dog over there starving. Very expensive place for the facilities. We ordered 2 hotdogs and fed her. Please give her a bite if you notice her.

Last day of our tour. When we decided to ride the cable car suddenly it rain and we try to tell to the crew that can we delay our ride because it's raining at that time, he didn't listen to us and told us to go on the line and push us to go. We stuck up above and experience the hail storm, we are so wet at that time when we reach above. It's a bad experience to us but i will give 3 star for the beautiful place.

If you come here for sports, they dont rent gloves and goggles anymore just helmet and skis/snowboard. Great place, quite memorable and in January snow can get quite heavy but it's more full of ice so wear boots.

Wish there was an English speaking guide here, but nonetheless an interesting place!

My grandson wanted to do the zip line. He enjoyed the first part and wasn't sure of the climb of 150m to get on the return zip. The area had a nice observation deck, a coffee shop and the people were very nice and helpful.

Cool place if you want to fly, and cool bar and kitchet also, crew are the best guys. So if you want to feel yourself like a bird you don't need to go far from city... oh one more thing, HOME MADE FANTASTIC BURGERS are served here

We decided to take a GoPro cam to capture our zipline adventure and create lasting memories. However, our experience took a turn for the worse. They take our money, but they sent us poorly cropped videos of terrible quality. Frustrated, I called to express my dissatisfaction, only to be met with a dismissive response: 'If you're unhappy, just come and jump again.' Needless to say, we won't be returning to this place. When you're charging for a service, it's important to actually provide that service. This was a truly disappointing experience. Keep your one-star rating for this one, as it deserves nothing more

Clean toilets, cool iglos😁 You reach this place downhill in like 5 min on a paved walkway through the forest. Easy walk back up as well. You slide back and forth between two mountains. The experience was truly amazing, we enjoyed our time and we were even able to grab some snacks from the cafe, that they have available. This place not only had a fast, adventurous zip line, they also had excellent service, which truly completed the experience I definitely recommend combing here, also bring kids would also be great as the have a kid friendly system which also help kids and adults enjoy the zip line, this place will truly create wonderful memories

A hotel stay that will remain in memory for good. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was varied and tasty. Location and ambience were amazing. The garden and view was wow big time. The balcony added to the beauty of location a lot. The proximity to city center made ot easy for us to visit frequently. Room's furniture was worn out, including the mattress (compressed foam). Blinds worn out severely. Chair's cushion needs refurbishment. Poor TV channels with no English language ones. Guest needs to personally ask for room cleaning as this won't happen on daily basis. Receptionist informed me that room cleaning happens every 3rd day of stay!. The jacuzzi was amazing. The pool's water temperature was unpleasantly cold, whie the pool's area ambience was relatively hot, which makes it really uncomfortable.

The hotel is overall very nice. Nothing unpleasant during our stay. We'd booked multiple rooms of the same category, as a group. The rooms were very different. Some were double the size of the others. On the whole they were decent rooms. The breakfast was a bit of a letdown. No live counters. And white meat was lacking and flavourful dishes were few and far between. I still liked the experience, you could surely consider staying here.

We came here for just one night on a tour of Armenia. The room was okay and the shower was excellent. The bed was very comfortable and the room a pleasant temperature. I was a little disappointed with the breakfast as the coffee machine did not work for the first 15 minutes and we were in a hurry to move to our next destination. The hotel is in a great location in a really nice area of the country.

When we reached the hotel there was no one at the entrance to carry the luggage. After we checked in there was no one to show us to the room. We had great difficulty in locating the room. The room allotted to us was like a Dungeon. The staff were very indifferent. Once inside the room, there was no contact details of room service or reception. I had to come down to ask for the information. I have stayed in many of the Marriott hotels, but this one is the worst. If you still want to stay in this hotel, please don’t forget to carry your toiletries. Everything is chargeable.

Beautiful hotel with free breakfast for each guest. The four star rating was because of a misunderstanding about the number of guests per room. We had to go through three different parties and ultimately talk with the manager to show that we were supposed to have four guests per room, not two. They were going to charge us extra until we showed the confirmation e-mail. If it weren't for us showing the confirmation e-mail, our trip would have been ruined. Ultimately, everything worked out, but it took a couple days to get things fixed. Other than this mishap, the stay at the Marriott in Tsaghkadzor was excellent and would recommend it to anyone.

We took a cottage , it was bit far (300 + mtr hiking )from the main building , better not to choose the top floor one as due to the low roof felt bit cramped. Better to select some room in main building if you are travelling with family as we felt bit isolated. No guidelines available in room on how to contact the reception / room service, recommending to give at least a print out on points to note. Breakfast was average.

Rooms are very, very spacious. Ours was a double room and was slightly smaller than another 2 x singles room but still very big (maybe 30-40m square). Most have balconies as well Decor was slightly dated and ac/heater was a bit too hot but we managed to get a comfortable temperature by turning off the ac and opening the balcony door

Location: Close to all the restaurants and few activities that are near by. Rooms: Rooms seem old, Bathrooms have an aging smell and they don’t have a wash spray. Food: Breakfast by far was super minimalistic and the worst I’ve ever had to date in any hotel I have stayed at. AC: During the season (not sure when) but assuming winter the AC doesn’t work and currently it’s super hot in the rooms. Overall pretty okay for the area

Special kudos go to Yura Maleryan who went above and beyond his excellent room services for efficiently finding a pair of sneakers my family left in the room, and resourcefully returning them to us in only a few hours. Specifically booked here as it says the tools have are air-conditioned, but the hotel doesn't allow it to be used until July!!! RIDICULOUS!! We have had some very warm uncomfortable nights with poor sleep, the hotel gave us a fan but a poor alternative.

Stayed here for a couple of days, old but decent place. there’s a small forest around the area and an old church. Sevan is around half an hour by car. They have some interesting facilities, a tennis and basketball court and a huge indoor swimming pool too bad I didn’t have the time to try it out. Definitely “kid friendly” there’s a playroom for kids and some arcade. Food was average nothing special and not bad

Still home away from home ❤️. But don’t pay for deluxe room with church view. Why not? Big trees have taken the whole view from the balcony, and you will not get compensated 😫. I really think the Marriott team has to step up on this…..!

Khinkali is always consistent and delicious here. Khash was surprisingly really bad I don’t recommend it. Service was ok but management is great and they try to make the place better.

We ordered Chinkali, Rabbit Chachochbili and Lamb BBQ (200grs). Lamb BBQ was ok but you had to look for the meat with a microscope,it was mostly bones and just a tiny amount of meat. Chachochbili was ok, Chinkali was good but rather small compared to the ones in Georgia..

The place looks awesome. Food is okay. The staff who rook care of us, Armeni, is very friendly and accommodating and she explains to us whatever from menu that we don't undersatnd.

This restaurant was recommended to us and I am so glad we went. The service was great and fast, communication easy and the food absolutely delicious! We had local dishes: cabbage dolma, manti, khinkali. For the less adventurous, there are plenty of grills and main dishes to choose from. Great decor, pleasant athmosphere are just the cherry on the top!

Very good restaurandt in the center of Yerevan. It’s interior is designed with the old movie scenes, pictures and stuffs. They have nice services and and staff.

I like this restaurant very much because of the interior decor. It is like visiting to someone's house in 18th century. Food is also very tasty and the service is prompt. You don't have to wait ages for the dishes to be serverd and the quality is always the top. Visitng mostly for a lunch with firend and guests.

This is our first day in Armenia, landed hungry already! The experience offered at this place is 2nd to none. Yasaman Restaurant is one of the best places to visit in Tsaghkadzor. I went there in the early morning and had a delicious breakfast 😋. The location is super and the area is well maintained. The food was delicious and yummy. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service is very good and even better than Yerevan. The Restaurant is huge and have 2 floor, and a large open area. I recommend visiting this place and try their menu.

Food: Ordered the Pork BBQ Ribs and Fried cheese. The Pork Ribs were hard and had a bit of fat or at least more than the meat. The fried cheese was good although maybe a side dish to accompany the cheese would have been great. Place is clean and decent in other aspects.

We entered Karas restaurant in Tsaghkadzor and found it very cozy and such a nice place just enough to accommodate small groups. The servers were very accommodating and greeted us with warmth and smile. Immediately we felt that we are in the right place. Service was amazing. He was so helpful and assisted and guided us how to order. He suggested the best wine and we ordered it. The food was amazing. We ordered all pork bbq and chicken wings, fish, salads. The experience was even more better when the live performances started playing with the band. It was my business partner’s birthday and she was so happy. This place is a must visit restaurant in Tsaghkadzor.

Nice place with decent quality of food and wide variety of dishes. While this is not a fastfood place, the orders are ready very quickly, especily when you order basic food like kebab or xachapuri. Service is not the best but quite good. Interior is nice. Very affordable compared to the other places nearby. Visiting often with family, friends and guests when in Tsaghkadzor.

This place is truly amazing. I'm not a tea drinker but the first thing that came out to the table was their home brewed berry tea, and the whole family loved it. Next the food came out and there really was nothing negative to say, they were simply delicious. Our server also spoke perfect English and her customer service level is next to none, pity we can't remember her name. Overall, we highly recommend this place.

Let me tell you about a magical place. We came across this place by luck, and we were very lucky to do so. The first thing that gets you is the amazing decor and surrounding scenery. Warm, friendly and stylish. You know you have arrived somewhere special. Even the kids were happy before we even sat down! Food is great and good menu options. We had the pork ribs, the chicken and the kids enjoyed their French fries and desserts. Hats off to the barman for entertaining us with some good cocktails while we watched the musician play his guitar next to the fireplace on a perfect backdrop of snow covered mountains. The kids played outside in the snow enjoying every moment of this perfect afternoon. If you can make here, I would recommend making an afternoon or evening of it enjoying all the the restaurant and the surroundings have to offer.
