I can thoroughly recommend this restaurant. From the street you think it is like many restaurants looking at the street side terras. But in the back there is a large, beautifully made terras. It is very spacious and created tasteful with a high quality. It is refreshing to see a restaurant here in Karpathos that has spent a lot of money and effort to make it good. The restrooms are also built with a lot of high quality decoration and the are clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly and make you feel at home. The food: we had the octopus as starter and it was just perfect. It was very tender, not too salty, it came in its own gravy and it was not spoiled by too much spices. It was delicious. We had tuna and swordfish as a main dish. They both came served with nicely (not over) cooked vegetables and a jacket potato. The swordfish was average. It was ok. The potato and vegetables were exactly how they should be. But the tuna: that was delicious! Often tuna is overcooked and becomes hard to chew and tastes sour. This one was medium well and it melted on your tongue. It had the consistency of the best premium steak you can imagine. It looked like a steak which put me of, but once I tasted it, it was heaven. We had the white house wine which was better than many I had before in Greece. I also have to point out that the staff also allowed us plenty of time between starter and main. In many other more "touristy" kind of eating places they rush you through the courses. Here this is not the case. We will return here during our stay, thats for sure. Who ever started and now manages this place has done a great job. Please keep doing what your doing. Thank you for making this a 10 out of 10 dinner evening! Roast lamb with meat that falls of the bone, Moussaka excellent!. Staff atenttive but feels a little unnessecerily hectic. I know it's a busy place but a calmer presence would go a long way.

We went to Thalassa for fresh fish. We ordered Fagri and this fish was so tasteful and delicious! Money very well spent.

The best restaurant in Karpathos! Really frendly service, nice atmosphere and the best quality food we have had during our week in Karpathos. Seafood was fresh and well prepared. I had seafood pasta and my girlfriend had seafood risotto, both really tasty and nicely plated. The restaurant looks nice with calm and nicely lit yard with tables separated nicely. The first 'wow' dish during the vacation! 5/5 I recommend this restaurant! We'll come back here!

Lovely quality food, with good flavours and friendly staff. The starter bread was baked in the oven. As starters we had tomato beef balls and the goat cheese with filo and honey. Main course see the pictures. As a treat we got some fresh fruit very nice and everything had good tastes

Very nice restaurant with a smaller menu, but therefore able to offer better quality. Very kind and enthousiastic staff. I had the beef stifako and my wife had the kleftiko which were recommended by our waiter and both were delicious. One of the better restaurants in the harbour.

Food was fine but the service wasn't worth it. To be fair, we were 9 guests but 2 dishes came to the table about 15 min. After the others and one was forgotten. We did get the last dish a few minutes after we told them and a discount of 18 € in the end but all in all, a bit strange evening eating in there sections...

The whole area there has the sweet smell of sewage. End of story. The dishes are reminders of a cooking reality show. Lots of fanfare, matched by the low quality of the raw materials. And yes over priced, of course, they are selling its location dearly plus they must make up for the losses of the 9 months they underwork.

This is a very special restaurant with exellent, high class food beyond expectations for a small greek island. The service is very good. They make the customers feel very welcome.

Wonderful food and service. My favourites were the grilled big shrimps and the traditional lamb shank called kleftiko. The shrimps were meaty and had a really nice rich smokey flavour to them from the grill. The lamb kleftiko was so tender that the meat dropped of the bone. Also worth mentioning is the spicy feta spread. 👌 The customer service was super welcoming and friendly. We had our toddler with us sleeping in the stroller, and everytime the waiters made room for us and the stroller. Can't recommend this place enough.

Best grill and seafood in the town Fantastic service, the waiters are very friendly, they speak English, a little Hungarian :) Real Greek atmosphere, the food is heavenly and big portions. If you like sea and grill food look no further, it's the tastiest in town. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

Fantastic unique high quality greek food. There is food for all tastes. We stay on Karpathos a week and happened we eat first time at To Perasma. So we spent all our dinners at this taverna. Excellent not only food but also the chats and advises rom Frankios where to go and what to see.

We enjoyed this lovely restaurant so much - the food, the service, the hospitality! All are very friendly and give their best even if the restaurant is full! To make sure that you get a table a reservation is recommended! Try it and you will come again! My favorite was the homemade Moussaka from Mama! The absolute best restaurant in Karpathos! The food is great with fair prices and the staff is absolutely amazing. Quick service with great family style dishes. We came to eat here the first day of our trip and ended up coming back here everyday thereafter, the food speaks for itself and the owner makes you feel right at home, just amazing!

"To Perasma" is definitely a best restoran in Karphatos! 14 days vacation and so many nice restaurants and people but "To Perasma" is definitely the BEST one. Food is...magnificent and everything is prepared perfectly. I can with all my heart write that they definitely deserve a visit. Try it once and you will see for yourself. Staff are very friendly and helpful! If you are a vegetarian they have so much to offer. The best calamari in Karpatos for sure! @toperasma thank you for everything!

Different foods Perasma restaurant was the second restaurant near our hotel where we visited several times during two weeks. The quality of the food, the service and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so good that we wanted to visit several times. The first time we took the pasta of the day, which was a mixture of pasta and a macaroni box, litel quite a special portion. Other visit we were more successful when we ordered burgers and meat souvlaki from the menu. A really nice place and also very popular.

Here is one of the few places where you will find handmade mousaka! The portions are big and perfectly made! The food is very tasty and everything is fresh! It also have vegetarian menu.

We found that place by accident to have cocktails in the afternoon and then came back for dinner two times during our 3 days stay in Karpathos. The restaurant is located in the port with a nice sea and town view and it left us utterly delighted - not only by its amazing food offerings but also by its warm and welcoming atmosphere. If you're a seafood enthusiast like me, this place is an absolute must-visit! We ordered and now recommend fresh fish, sea food pasta, shrimps – all was cooked to perfection, and the way they open the fish in front of you is a masterpiece! 😊 They also offer a good choice of wines and cocktails to complement the meal. What truly sets this family restaurant apart, though, is the warm and attentive service. The staff made us feel like valued guests, and their knowledge and passion for the food they serve were evident. It is worth mentioning that they offer great variety of options for breakfast, we had a very nice one just before our ferry. Thank you Xristos and the entire team for creating such a memorable dining experience, we will definitely come back when we travel to Karpathos next time.

My wife and I planned on having lunch in the city and decided to stop by this restaurant. One of the waiters that greeted us was very nice and after showing us the menu we decided to sit down and eat. We had a grilled bream fish (in photo), chicken gyros and received a complimentary garlic bread with tzatziki, along with a Coke and beer and the price was very fair. However, strong gusts of wind and a few hungry cats made the sitting a bit less enjoyable, but not enough to detract a star. We will be eating there again if we have the chance.

The food was absolutely delicious, we had dinner there 3 times in our 1 week stay. The waiters were absolutely amazing, they made us feel very special. They made the meals much more memorable and even gave us advice about the island. This family restaurant is an amazing choice if you want a night with delicious food, and homely vibe! Delicious salads, huge portions, good service. I 've only been there for light dinner ice cream and coffee. I liked the grande salad with chicken. Their prices are very good compared to the portions they serve. Their ice cream is also the best. Staff is very kind and helpful.

You walk in and everyone greets you with a genuine smile and enthusiasm. The family and friendly atmosphere is ubiquitous. The waiters love children and want to make their time as pleasant as possible (playing with them, giving them markers). Food? You try it and come back the next day (3 days in a row for us). Everything was delicious. All positive. A place worth recommending.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Grande, a restaurant located in Pigadia, Karpathos. I was with my sister, and we were both blown away by the food, service, and atmosphere. The service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive without being intrusive, and he made sure we had everything we needed. The food was simply delicious. We ordered moussaka and spaghetti with shrimp, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. The moussaka was rich and flavorful, and the spaghetti was perfectly al dente. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. The restaurant is located in a beautiful setting, and the interior is decorated in a traditional Greek style. Overall, we had an amazing experience at Grande. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a delicious and memorable meal in Karpathos.

One of the best food experiences in Karpathos. The food was really delicious. Greek and contemporary. Tate full, good portions and fair prices. If you can go there try the delicious food. The personal working there are the nicest persons, always smiling and joking... Best time :)

Trendy Café Bar with funny and super friendly owners. On of the spots to be in pigadia - a good location for a party. Fine music in the evening. Nice cocktails. Our teenage girls loved it...

Absolutely delicious food and cocktails, the best daiquiri's I tried anywhere. Cozy and nice environment and dining space. They always have the best music on. Friendly and attentive staff that checks up on you frequently and makes sure that everything is perfect. The bathroom is also clean and nice-looking. Lastly the chairs are very comfortable and the prices are inexpensive compared to the surrounding restaurants. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting Katpathos!

The best place for mezes!! Mesogios is 'King of Tapas' en title is well deserved. Ask for surprise menu and you will find new dishes you never tasted before, love it!! Owner is a really funny guy who is serious about good food!

Went to this tavern for lunch. This place has a lot of choices of food to eat. We tried their fried calamari (served with fries), makarounes (traditional pasta with cheese and caramelised onion topping), and Mydia Saganaki (mussels saganaki, cooked in tomato sauce, peppers, onion and feta). The fried calamari was really soft from inside, while crunchy from outside. The makarounes is good, while the mydia saganaki is bery tasty and delicious. At the end of our meal, we were offered mousse with coffee flavor. Very kind gesture of the tavern.

It is a taverna that runs well with all the consequences: the staff assess you according to your purchasing power and you are treated accordingly. The food is ok but nothing more. The prices are rather high. I have been there several times. If you eat there, you will be satisfied but not thrilled.

The best taverna in Pigadia. Minas - the owner - is a very good person.. takes care of you and recommends the best dishes of the day! he has a good luck charm ... a golden finger!
