The first attraction I decided to visit was the Hebei Museum as it was located very close to my hotel. Outside the museum was a large open space where there were hundreds and hundred of pigeons and a large crowd of people feeding them. Good way to start my travels here in Shijiazhuang by seeing all these happy faces. I spent a good 30 minutes outside trying to get some pictures of the flying pigeons. The museum itself is free, and looked very impressive from the outside. However on the inside almost all the halls were closed, with only 2 small halls on the left and right being left open. Inside the halls there really wasnt much to see as it was mostly photographs of shijiazhuang being put up for viewing. Overall i think it could be worth dropping by the museum to take some shots with the pigeon but otherwise I would pass on the Museum. China has alot of really great museums that I would recommend instead.
