Pagosa Springs Town Park is a small yet well-equipped retreat for all ages, offering river access and whitewater activities. The park also features athletic fields, picnic spots, and a play area. Accessible and clean bathrooms are available on-site, along with free parking. Visitors can enjoy a scenic trail that follows the Colorado River through town while passing by hot sulfur springs and spas. It's an excellent place to take a break from skiing or wrap up an afternoon after exploring downtown shops.

Lovely little park in a lovely town, right on the edge of the San Juan River. There’s a playground for kids, places to have a picnic, and be sure to walk on the pedestrian bridge to get a great view of the river.

What is NOT to love? Bring your towels, swim shoes and tubes. Bring a picnic lunch. Everything about Pagosa Springs is magical, including this little gem of a park. You never know what the water flow or temp will be, but that's NATURE and part of the fun! Bathrooms are real and not port-o-potties.

Sits at the end of the river trail. A relaxing place to sit and 🤔. Ravens and Crows are one of my favorites. Golden Eagle can be seen on the river. Bring a swim suit. Changing rooms available, and a free soak in the several free hot springs alongside the walk path.
James Francis — Google review
Beautiful and shaded. We hit it with the flea market and loved to walk around.
Josiah Dahlstrom — Google review
Great place to take a break from Skiing. The park has a trail that follows the river through town. You pass by many of the Hot Sulfur springs along the way and get a good view of the river and spas. After a quick trip through the downtown shops this is a great way to wrap up an afternoon.

Nice, clean restroom to change clothes and dip in the free hot spring. It would be better if people didn't leave trash behind.

Literally one of the best places to be in the US! New playground. New mulch, perfectly landscaped. Hot springs with pools to play in and you can tube right through the middle of it!

My husband and I chose to road trip for our honeymoon due to pandemic concerns. We decided we wanted the perfect mix of relaxations and adventure. This place will not disappoint! We found the pools and food good and excellent service. 10/10 recommend. We will be back for more trips to come. Richie Summers gets a shout out for being awesome and made our stay so much extra special for our honeymoon. We had an absolute magical time. This is by far our best trip and the staff here are so welcoming and friendly.

We placed our stay right in the middle of our two week Colorado National Park exploration for much need relaxation after days of hiking. When we saw rain on the forecast we were a little worried about how that would affect our first ever hot springs experience, and I can tell you with certainty that the rain only enhanced it. The drizzle and mist cooled us off allowing us to stay in the pools for longer periods of time then we probably would have had it been sunny outside, so definitely don’t let rain deter you from visiting Pagosa Springs! There’s plenty of pools with a variety of temperatures that change throughout the day which is super neat. Highly recommend doing aqua yoga during your stay, it’s a great way to start your morning there! The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, especially Anthony!!! He really made our time in the pools all the more enjoyable. He was so personable, friendly, caring, and his hospitality was honestly off the charts! Just such a pleasure to meet and interact with. He’s exactly the kind of person you want/need working at a resort like this. I give our overall experience two thumbs up and would recommend this resort to others!

Christina Martinez at the concierge/ reception desk is amazing and so friendly. She took great care of us during our stay. Katie and everyone else we met at the front desk at the front desk were also super kind and helpful. Kevin at the poolside Canteen bar was very friendly and courteous. Yoga and wellness instructors Sabra and Kelly are wonderful and so talented. Overall, we have been beyond impressed with the welcoming kindness, genuine smiles and impeccable level of service from everyone at The Springs Resort & Spa. We feel welcomed, relaxed, and revived, and we will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Our third trip at The Springs Resort was incredible once again! Christina, our front desk agent, made the experience better than ever. She gave us a beautiful room for our anniversary in a fantastic location to the pools and was super helpful and friendly! It’s a great place to bring our pup to walk along the River. Winter and summer, we love it here and will definitely be back again and again! :)

Both Kevin and Anthony were very helpful, friendly and professional. Anthony organized the refreshment tent so well that the other employees working it were thinking him for making it so streamlined and efficient. Drinks were prepared very quickly and the staff were all relaxed and pleasant, enjoying their jobs. Kevin brought us drinks out on another day and took our family picture in one of the soaking pools with our beautifully prepared drinks in hand. It made our stay so much better knowing the staff enjoyed their jobs and were happy to be there. Thank for a relaxing stay! Michael Hannah and Family

Overall, our stay was very good at the Springs Resort, but when we first got there, our room had not been cleaned. There were used towels, used soap bar, used water bottles as well as previous users room cards. We got a different room and all of that was fine, but the AC wasn't working and 2 light bulbs were out. We mentioned this to the front desk and they sent maintenance to look at it. She said she was going to see what she could do for us, but said it looked like the first front desk guy we spoke to already reimbursed us for one of our nights. When we went to check out, I am then told I need to pay for the second night and when I brought up the issues, all she told me was there were no notes of any of this and only gave me a partial discount on the night. The staff at the front desk was friendly, but some of them definitely need some more training. The fact we went though all of that and no notes were even made is frustrating.

Absolutely loved this place. Beautiful view. Hubby and I decided to honeymoon in our native state cause we missed Colorado. And we were happy to have the luxury of staying at this lovely resort. Staff were amazing not a single complaint. They are the nicest people and made sure we felt comfortable and welcomed. Was nice to get complimentary water bottles as well. Definitely making this our yearly anniversary getaway.

Upon arrival to the resort, Christina Martinez was so kind, warm and welcoming! She made check in such a pleasure! She made sure we had everything we needed after a long trip and even checked in on is the next day. Our room was clean and ready, thanks to Vanessa! The rest of the resort was amazing! We brought our 3 kids and i loved how there was an area just for them. Definitely will be coming back!

Christina Martinez deserves nothing less than a glowing review! She went above and beyond to ensure that our 16th anniversary was truly special. From the moment we arrived, Christina greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Her knowledge and expertise were evident as she helped us get settled into a fantastic room. She took the time to understand our preferences and recommended the perfect accommodations for us. The room exceeded our expectations and set the stage for a memorable anniversary celebration! What truly stood out about Christina was her friendly and personable nature. She genuinely cared about our experience and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed. Her attention to detail and genuine warmth made us feel valued as guests. Overall, our experience with Christina Martinez was exceptional. She is a true asset to the resort, and we can't wait to come back just to have her as our host again. Thank you, Christina, for making our anniversary celebration truly unforgettable. You deserve an A+ for your outstanding service!

This is our first time here at The Springs Resort & Spa and we absolutely love it. The hot spring pools are kept clean and continuously checked. The staff here is super friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They truly have made this experience even better. Every time we have ventured to the front desk we are met with a big smile and kind words of encouragement and praise. Christina Martinez has been so help and kind. We absolutely love when she is at the front desk. Thank you to everyone for making this a great experience.

The facilities at Pagosa Hot Spring are incredible and the staff is above and beyond. Each employee encountered was extremely helpful. Christina Martinez at the Pagosa Hot Springs Hotel is an absolute gem! From her warm welcome to her personalized recommendations, Christina's exceptional service made our stay unforgettable. Her genuine care and attention to detail truly set her apart. The hotel itself was fantastic, but Christina's hospitality took it to the next level. We can't wait to return and experience her magic again. Five stars without hesitation!

We've made Pagosa Hot Springs Resort an annual destination since our first trip in 2012. There's nothing more relaxing and rejuvenating after a day at Wolf Creek than a soak in the many pools this resort has to offer! The facilities are always clean and well stocked, the service staff is always so friendly and helpful and really makes the experience enjoyable. It's always worth the wait and we love chatting with guests from all over the world as you look out onto the river or enjoy a winter sunset - our last visit in February was no exception! A special shout out goes to Zach at the front desk who made us feel especially welcome and really made our final night at the springs a special one. Can't wait until next year! Keep up the great work and we really appreciate everything you all do!

The most perfect stay! From the moment that we checked in our experience was outstanding, exceeding all our expectations. The young lady at the front desk was helpful and warm, walking us through what was included in our stay. The grounds man showed us around the pools area when we looked a little lost, the bartender in the lounge at the resort was a fantastic historian, and so lovely chatting with us as we listened to live music while we enjoyed drinks before our massage. We stayed only one night but on our way were already talking about our trip back to Pagosa, just so we can enjoy the resort again. Fabulous, fabulous time !

We arrived and Christina Martinez met us for check in. She was absolutely wonderful and so helpful getting us to our room and showing us around! She was definitely top notch service. We also enjoyed a couples massage at the spa! Jess met us at the desk and was super helpful and informative about our massages. She also made sure that we drank lots of water when we finished! She was very kind and courteous. Kristine and Ruthie did an excellent job working out all of our knots and melted our stress away. They asked questions before hand about trouble areas and what experience we would like. My husband had a deep tissue clinical message while I just got to relax! Will definitely be coming back. The rooms were clean, the pools were amazing, the staff was extremely friendly from the moment we arrive until we left.

Before I write a review for the Resort I would like to recognize an employee that went above and beyond! Christina Martinez (supervisor ) went out of her way to make me feel welcome and handled me with such care when she knew I was going through some difficult life events. I have been to many resorts/hotels and she is by far the best encounter I have ever had! The accommodations are lovely and the pools are amazing! I highly recommend!

I was visiting family in Pagosa the week of July 24 and we came to the Springs three different times. We just couldn't get enough. The staff was so great. Jay was so nice at the front desk and knew us by sight the second day we came in. Blake Smith showed us around the property a little and explained what the springs were about and how to enjoy them. And Kelli taught us how to enjoy the Warrior Plunge! That ended up being my favorite activity at the Springs. Loved our days here❤️

I can’t say enough about The Springs! Everyone that we came in contact with was wonderful! They were kind, helpful, and genuine. The two that were the most notable were AJ and Kelli. We truly enjoyed their workshops. They were knowledgeable and caring in their presentations. And I have to also mention, Amanda, one of the Spa managers. You can tell she loves her job as she takes care of visitors and staff alike. Of course the hot springs themselves were worth the trip! It was one of the most relaxing and beautiful places I’ve ever been! I’m looking forward to coming back soon!! Tina Nestor

I did morning yoga in a private pool with Teresa the yoga goddess!!! She was amazing! I’m a beginner and was worried that the class would be to advanced for me because I was going with a friend who very good at yoga but she walked me through everything and I had a wonderful time. I would recommend this class for all skill levels. We all had a great time. It’s an amazing way to start your day while on vacation!! I highly recommend checking out this class.

The overall experience was great. Stayed for 7 nights room was neat and clean each day we returned, the staff was friendly and always willing to help. At the spa Abbie was inviting and sweet. She greeted me with a smile and bid me farewell with one too. Kim was always very friendly. It was my first time getting a massage and she was patient and informative with each step. Will definitely return and recommend to others.

The Springs Resort is a treat every time. The staff has always been excellent, but it seems to be getting better all the time. In particular, Christina Martinez made our stay the best we could ask for. She went above and beyond to make sure my family and I had the best accommodations and made our stay the best we’ve had thus far. The entire experience was superb, the pools were a great variety of temperatures, the food and drinks were delicious as usual, and the front desk staff was friendly and extremely helpful as well. Thank you Springs Resort!

Our stay at the Springs Resort was great! When we arrived we were greeted by Jocelyn who assisted us with check-in at the front desk and gave us a lot of helpful information for our stay. She was also able to get us room earlier than expected which was really nice. My husband and I really enjoyed the adults only geo thermal pools because there were less people in that area and the views were fantastic. Our Luxury King Suite at the resort was really spacious and comfortable for the two of us and it was nice and clean which we greatly appreciated. It had a little kitchenette and a living room which allowed us to spread out. We enjoyed the live music in the evenings and our experience at the spa with all of the staff members and getting facials for the first time with Morgan was amazing! An all around great experience.

After a long road trip, we found this resort was healing to the mind and body! Beautiful surroundings in the snow topped mountains. The resort is very clean well kept. They really go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and appreciated. Lots of activities for every personality. Christina Martinez made us feel right at home! Thank you! Highly recommended for any special occasion, or just to get away!

I haven’t actually stayed at the resort, but every time we’re visiting Pagosa Springs we make sure to spend a day at the hot springs here. There are numerous different temperature tubs to enjoy and our server John was impeccable on the timing of refreshing our drinks! No matter which tub we ventured to, he made sure to find us and make sure we didn’t need anything else. Wonderful experience every time! It’s a bit pricey for entrance fee, but worth every penny. You won’t regret it.

Beautiful property. The Springs were delightful, we loved going between the 25 different pools available with a dip in the river. It really helped regulate the body temperature and made stay at the springs for hours very relaxing. Lots of people on the weekend, it seemed less crowded in the adults only area, it seemed like those staying at the hotel either had exclusive access to this area or you had to pay more for it if you were just visiting the springs for the day. Hotel atmosphere was wonderful and inviting with the live music and bar in the main lobby each night. Room was comfortable, though the furnace was a bit loud. Bed was uncomfortable for me, woke up tossing and turning both nights but my husband slept well. The spa had a wonderful energy, Theresa did my Magnesium Muscle Melt and it was very rejuvenating. The morning cafe had delicious choices. The grill outside by the springs had good choices too. Only complaint there is that the buzzers they give you to alert you that your food is done didn’t work, after a half hour we finally came back to check and food had been done for a while and was cold, not too big of a deal except it was over $40 worth of cold food. That was frustrating.

The staff is incredibly friendly. The bartenders, front desk, house keeping, EVERYONE!!! Make sure you get a chance to chat with Christina Martinez!! She went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. Any thing we needed! Wonderful place to stay and soak. The pools are awesome and open 24 hours!! So awesome!

I was checked in by Shanda and checked out by Christine K. The experience was great. They were quick efficient and and friendly. The room was comfortable, clean and beautiful. Can't wait to return and soak and relax. Definitely a great experience. Room was clean and comfortable..

Coolest hot springs experience we’ve had yet. Amazing multi level pools at various temperatures all set along the River. Very picturesque to say the least. Christina Martinez, the concierge, was angelic! She was super courteous and helpful! There are tons of nice resorts out there but the personal touch and friendly service determines the repeat customers so thanks Christina we’ll be back!!!!

One of my favorite hot springs. So beautiful and relaxing. I love the smaller pools and the different temperature options. Definitely on the pricey side, but worth it in my opinion. It also connects to the river and has fun muddy sand to play in. I like to cover myself in mud, jump in the river, then get back in the hot pools. Highly recommended as a nice treat for yourself.

This spa resort is amazing! The springs are so incredible and relaxing and the resort is located within walking distance of the town. Take advantage of the free wellness activities the resort offers! I personally tried Aqua Yoga, Forest Bathing, Meditation, Restful Recharge and Sound Baths with Sabra. She was so great and provided amazing service and relaxation for our trip. I had the Herbal Renewal treatment at the spa with Lisa and it was incredible! Highly recommend. Abbie provided great service at the spa, checking me in and showing me around the spa. The rooms are a little outdated but we didn’t spend much time in there anyways with so many great activities.

We had an incredible, romantic stay here for Valentine’s Day. We got to the hotel and, to our surprise, they upgraded our room complimentary. They explained they like to do that when they can and we were so touched. I enjoy visiting hot springs all over the state and I was blown away by the springs in Pagosa. So many pools to choose from of varying temperatures and you could decide before you got in if you were looking to socialize or relax in quiet. The ability to visit the springs in the middle of the night was my favorite part and I’ll be back for that feature alone. An amazing time and I can’t wait to be back

Love The Springs! Such a beautiful location. Me and my girlfriends took a little vacation and really enjoyed the whole experience. Lots of variety in tub temperatures to try out. We also had an awesome bartender, Anthony D., that was super friendly and made great drinks! Highly recommend the experience :)

Abbie, Bonnie and Amy took such great care of us during our visit to the spa. We had a much needed time of respite and relaxation. Our massages were a great way to end the day. While we didn’t stay in one of the rooms, the springs were clean and quiet on the day we visited (in the snow!). A fun experience.

Super friendly helpful staff, amazing variety of hot spring pools including a few no kids allowed, spring side bar service, 24 hour access to pools if you are a resort guest, assorted massage/facial spa options, great room, town with cute shops and good food all in walking distance. First time for me but definitely not the last. If you are reading this review take my advice and book with The Springs Resort, you will not regret it.

One of the best small town museums I have ever had the pleasure of visiting! Every small town has a museum, and I always like to make a quick stop to check of some of the local history. Sometimes they're good, and other times they may just have a few artifacts someone found in their backyard. But this museum is something else. The amount of history packed into their small space is just incredible. Most everything is displayed in an organized and thoughtful way that makes it easy to absorb lots of information in a small space. They were raising money to expand while we were there, and I happily made a donation. I can't wait to see their expansion! We'll definitely stop by again on our next visit.

Wonderful gem in Pagosa Springs. Interesting displays reflecting Miner's life plus extra quilt display.
Pam Ninness — Google review
Really cute and informative but also a little cluttered. There was some written information by most of the exhibits, but a narrative or town timeline would have been really helpful to understanding the history. The quilt exhibit was really neat.
fanzbeans — Google review
For how small it is, it's packed with so much old stuff! Mostly cool old things, but some of the quilts are not very historically significant at all... But all the artifacts and pictures are awesome. Someone took a loooong time collecting and arranging every thing in there. Quilt book was cool, but the quilts were the least interesting thing, to me personally.

Displays set up well with good information. Staff was informative and cordial. Alot of local history included.

An amazing place we have gone many times now. Thanks to those that keep it going. Sadly receives no funds from the town or county and would be a shame to lose anything more of historic value in the town. Thanks!!

MASSAGE was excellent. We are visiting from out of town. From the time we called until we left, the customer service was excellent. Morgan booked our appointment. He suggested we come and soke for an hour prior to the massage. Michelle greeted us. She provided a tour and gave us a towel and robe. We headed upstairs and were not disappointed. Incredible view. Our massages from Pam and Julie were the best we ever had. Then they gave us a free drink of choice. Very relaxing. Showers were nice. They provide shampoo and conditioner. They do not provide footwear. They do not have a bathing suit spinner but do provide plastic bags to place wet items in. We went early and they were not busy. The people that came off the mountain to soak come in after 4.

This place is a great place to enjoy a nice soak, however not a great place to get treated with kindness! Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the staff and the way my family and I were treated. We are locals but we had our grandma in town visiting and one of the only things on her agenda was to get a nice relaxing soak in. We walked in to come across a sign that said staff was checking tub temps and to please wait. We decided it would probably be okay if we went in to change and came back to pay considering we were running short on time before they close. I’m not sure if that is what ticked the guy off but regardless I felt that his attitude was very uncalled for. My brother explained there were two of us locals and one senior, at this point in time my grandma and I were still changing. The guy had told my brother he needed us to come to the front to confirm there was indeed one senior and two locals. My grandma walked up and in a friendly manner said “I’m a senior!”, he responded with “yep!”. We laughed it off but I was a little taken off guard by his rude response. Moral of the story- our experience would’ve been a whole lot better if we were treated with kindness and respect from the staff. Oh he also overcharged us after we verified that he charge us for two locals and a senior. Just overall a disappointing experience to be treated with such uncalled for attitude. I also think that customer service is a HUGE aspect to one’s business and it’s a shame that this guy is hurting the business by acting this way. Extremely unprofessional.

The Overlook Hot Springs one of my absolute favorite places in town. We had a really good friend of ours treat us to an hour long full body couples massage by two extremely talented masseuses. Followed by a private soak in a secluded tub and a complimentary drink. Thank you Danielle and Stacy for being amazing at what you do. (Please seek these ladies out you will not regret it.) 😁 And thank you to the staff for always making us feel welcomed. We will be back soon. ❤️

We had an AMAZING experience at Overlook! We recently visited and had our 4 month old baby with us. Carrie and John were so so so incredibly sweet about making sure we had everything we needed, double checking pool temperatures, and checking on us while our little one was fighting sleep! I love the vibe of the whole place with the Victorian architecture and all the pool options. There's 2 rooftop pools, 3 indoor pools with a cold plunge, as well as some personal sized pools in the courtyard! They're so reasonably priced too!! You can stay as long as you want with your entry and can even bring your own snacks in, or they have snacks and drinks available for purchase. They give you a quick tour when you arrive and have towels and robes to rent. (Robes are definitely the way to go with chillier weather!) Plus they have a gift shop - and I'm a sucker for a good gift shop. Next time we will definitely be booking massages while we're there! If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would!!! We hope we get to visit again in the near future!

What a magnificent soak. Overlook Hot Springs is the affordable alternative to the high priced resorts. Everything was very nice and only $24 for as long as we wanted to stay. We started it in the garden in private tubs then to the roof with a great view. Finally we soaked inside. All the tubs are just the correct temperature and the showers were clean and convenient. We did not partake of the food and drink but they are available.

I was skeptical due to the pictures but honesty the place is very cool! They’ve clearly restored an old building and the vibes are *chefs kiss*. Don’t pay $60 for the springs when you can pay $20(?) (I got a massage so it was included) and soak in a beautiful, HOT tub that overlooks the town and mountains. Pools were hot, cold dip was amazing, the plants and flowers really made the place feel like an oasis and not right on Main Street. Their new outback area is super cute and cozy. I had Jessica as my therapist and WOW she did not disappoint. I’m a massage therapist myself so I have high standards but she really got me to a place of full relaxation while also working out some kinks in my body. I was able to let go and fully be in my body and I’m so grateful. It was also my birthday and felt like I got such a grand experience. She’s definitely in the right field and I’ll be back to see specifically her. Can’t recommend The Overlook or Jessica, enough. Wonderful experience and will absolutely be back every time we come this way.

Pretty cool spot for soaking up the mineral waters of pagosa springs. They have several pools/tubs throughout the facility. The tubs in the downstairs area are pretty dark and a bit creepy, but the rooftop tubs are awesome. We came around noon and stayed for several hours. At some point it did start getting a bit crowded, and some folks would not leave the tub with the more tempered water, so we were forced to stay in the hotter tub. Overall, great facility with clean showers, my only complaint is that the tubs had some hair, I wish they were cleaner.

A great alternative to the very overpriced Springs Resort! The staff was much more personable and friendly and took excellent care of me. They even serve adult beverages. A Very cool "old bathhouse" feeling while soaking in the inside tubs and wonderful views from the rooftop pools. Very affordable $24. Highly recommended over the Springs Resort.
Brad Davis — Google review
This is more of a private spot, a big house with multiple hot tubs around. The water is great and you can find warmer and cooler pools. The view from the rooftop it's really nice, you can see the river and the town. Bathrooms are clean and they have shampoo and conditioner.

My favorite place to soak! The courtyard tubs are absolutely lovely. All staff here are always accommodating and friendly. Reasonably priced beverages are a plus!

Three of us locals show up at "that other place". One of us doesn't have their ID. And we understand the concept of business policies ... But PLEASE ... We've been there before. "That other place" didn't ask for an ID to verify we qualified for the senior discount?! Personally if I had been the owner or manager, I'm thinking I would be willing to lose out on $40 ... Rather than lose three locals business. So ... We left and went where we've ALWAYS been treated so well ... Overlook! Met some new people ... Both locals and tourists ... We had a lovely evening! "That other place" is great ... the experience can be wonderful. But for me and my friends ... Overlook is THE PLACE TO GO! I strongly suggest everyone visit and judge for themselves. PS ... And the messages are absolutely amazing! Peace

Food was great. Atmosphere is very nice, romantic, and ambient. Service was friendly and even though they closed at 9PM they still served us dessert and drinks after 9:30 which was very nice of them. Filet mignon was delicious. Very satisfied all around. Will visit again.

Great service! What a treat....pimento cheese with crackers for an appetizer. I need to learn how to make it! Love the patio. My husband and I both agreed...the most leisurely and enjoyable dinner at a restaurant we think we have had in a very long time. If you travel to Pagosa Springs, Colorado, you must enjoy a dinner at Alley House for sure.

Excellent food. Nice and romantic. We went there for a nice steak and was not disappointed. The lobster was tender and great. The steak was perfect and seasoned nicely. The pizza was full of flavor. It's a little pricy but a great place for special occasions and a romantic date. A little loud in the dining room, but settled down and could hear each other. We took our time and relaxed. Britney was our waitress, and she was friendly. Her daughter was the food runner, and she was sweet. Make reservations and plan to spend time.

Beautiful restaurant and the atmosphere was great. Chris took very well care of us. Food was good, but presentation could have been nicer. The spinach salad with bacon vinaigrette was a little bit too sour for my taste, but was also all over the side of the plate and could have been more. The calamari breading was too much or the calamari too small? However all over it is a great restaurant.
Nadja Volkmer — Google review
Absolutely amazing food and drinks! I got the beet salad, my mom had the margherita pizza, and we shared the brussel sprouts side and the bread pudding for dessert. We were so full from the delicious food that we almost skipped dessert, but the bread pudding was 1000% worth it, it was AMAZING. Really nice service and atmosphere too! 10/10 would recommend. A little pricey, but tasty and healthy food.

Good food, good service. My husband ordered a medium steak, it was a tad closer to medium rare, however was still good. The Brussels sprouts were excellent.. I had the acorn squash and would definitely recommend it . Also had a Great Gatsby from the bar that was well done.

Tried this place on the recommendation of a family member, and were blown away! Greg took such great care of us, and his recommendations were spot on! The calamari were fresh and delicious, and the cippino was amazing!! Highly recommend trying this place for a perfect night out in Pegosa! The original side is over 100 years old!! Cheers!

This place was incredible!! The wonderful, seasonal menu makes you feel like each season is a celebration. The apple mules and pumpkin bread pudding were warming and delicious on a chilly fall evening. The filet mignon and lamb was wonderfully cooked. The sides they paired them with were all perfectly seasoned. Everything felt very intentionally planned and it was such a nice treat!

It was dumping wet, heavy flakes for hours yesterday/last night and a quick swipe of the steps with a shovel or broom would have made them less treacherous to be sure. We got seated quickly but it was at least 10 minutes before anyone came over to us. After that, all was well. Food was great! Watching the snow out those beautiful big windows was magical. Hubs had a pizza and I had the bruschetta and the stuffed acorn squash. The stuffing was awesome I just wish there was a bit more squash in there.

We were really excited to have a romantic dinner at the Alley House Grille while we were in town. The directions getting to the Alley House were confusing, so we ended up parking in the large dirt parking area next to the restaurant. I would advise not parking there as the place was very muddy. We ordered the calamari, two glasses of wine, pan crusted chicken, elk, and the 3 chocolate cheese cake. We really enjoyed everything we ordered, but the mashed potatoes were a little disappointing that came with dinner. Overall this is a really great spot to eat at and I would recommend this place if you are looking for a nice meal while in Pagosa Springs.

At Pagosa Springs and my husband had the Chilean Sea Bass, and I had he Roasted Acorn Squash 😋. Both were delicious! The red potatoes and carrots 🥕 were delicious also, as well as the rice and broccoli 🥦 with he Sea Bass. Great atmosphere, busy place, making a reservation is recommended based on our visit. We sat at the bar, which we like to do anyway. Highly recommend Alley House Grille.

Okay, I rarely write a review, but our experience last night deserves one. We've been on vacation in Pagosa Springs for over a week and haven't been extremely impressed with the food options (the choices are somewhat flat and the service hasn't been great in town, so we've mostly cooked at home). We've been really looking forward to a special night at Alley House to cap off our trip AND celebrate our anniversary. EVERYTHING we ordered was cooked perfectly: fillets, shrimp, Chilean sea bass, pizza, scallops, calamari. We splurged and ordered one of every dessert on the menu...our entrees were THAT good. Our server was professional, personable, and checked in on us at all the right times. They were a few minutes past our reservation time in seating us and our server wasn't pleased with how long it took our entrees to arrive; so, in the end, the manager comped our check a very generous amount. We're still not sure we deserved it, but do 100% appreciate your generosity, Alley House Grille. We will be back.

Amazing restaurant!! If you’re looking for a fine dining experience with a great atmosphere and even better food, Alley House is a must! We loved it so much we went twice during our trip! Both waiters we had were great and the hostess were nice! We even got to sit at our table 15 min prior to our reservation both times. Reservations were very simple online which is always nice. We will definitely be back next time we’re in town! Everything we ate and drank was incredible!

The Rose is a charming downtown diner known for its cozy atmosphere and generous portions of classic breakfast and lunch dishes. The menu features traditional favorites like omelets, pancakes, and waffles, as well as unique specialties such as corned beef hash and huevos rancheros. Renovated to create a brighter ambiance while maintaining its original charm, this restaurant offers down-home cooking that's perfect for fueling up before exploring Pagosa Springs.
Got in pretty quick. Had to wait out in the cold for 20 minutes before a table was ready. It was pretty crowded. Our server, Hayden did a good job. Good presentation of our entrees. My Pagosa (French toast) toast was dipped in Pancake mix. Hot chocolate and a towering amount of whipped cream.
Theresa Gulick — Google review
“They are known for the green chili”. That’s what they told me when I asked. We got the smothered chili omelette, short stack pancakes, & corned beef hash. All three plates were tasty. Omelette was good, but tasted more bacon than green chili. Next time I would ask for extra or added on top. The pancakes were big and filling. & the English muffins were thick too. Only giving 4 stars because the omelette needed more green chili

This is a great cute breakfast spot! Split the country eggs Benedict and it was so good! The blueberry pancake was the best I had ever! Lots of blueberries, and the edges were crispy. It was amazing.

Food was so good I felt the need to give a review, which I don’t do often. Hash browns, eggs, biscuits & gravy, chocolate milk, it was all a masterpiece. Also many other options if you want something sweet or maybe even lunch. Service was excellent. Quiet, quaint, and absolutely adorable. Only feedback would be needs some quiet music to enjoy in the background.

Cozy delicious breakfast. Had to come back two days in a row. Top choices: ham and apple breakfast sandwich and waffle works. The service is true and kind. We Love this place.
Barbara Kilian — Google review
I'm not sure why this place has such good reviews. I had the Pagosa Toast which is Texas toast dipped in pancake batter. I was excited to try something new, but this had no flavor at all; it literally just tasted like a thick pancake. My friend had the breakfast BLT and she said it was pretty average. The service wasn't any better - we were told that it would just be a "couple of minutes!" until we could be seated. Well, 25 minutes passed and there were 3 clean tables, and still, no one came to seat us. Overall, it was average eats with subpar service. The restaurant itself was cute, but I would choose a different breakfast place next time.

Breakfast here is fantastic! My husband had the Giant Breakfast Burrito & I had a Veggie Omelette. The burrito is definitely giant and the green chili is really good, too hot for me but he loves it. The omelette was great too, great food here! 😁👍

We are traveling and stopped in at this beautiful little restaurant for breakfast and we are glad we did. our waitress was so sweet and patient I got the breakfast burrito it was giant a little spicy but definitely a hit with bacon, my daughter got the kids french toast with fruit and eggs and loved it, my father got biscuits and gravy and he said it was some of the best he's had the biscuits were soft and perfect. Coffee was fantastic not too strong overall a 10/10.

Fantastic brew pub in Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Great patio for outdoor dining. Good selection of standard beers as well as seasonal beers. Food was excellent. It was New Year’s Eve, around 6pm, so e dude was playing a guitar and we had no reservation. 1 hour wait. Ok. Let’s get a drink. Maybe 3. After 2 hours waiting for a table, we just ended up taking the food home. It was terrific. I loved the big lambowski! No regrets chilling with family while we waited for our food and listened to live music.

Nice rustic atmosphere with a great staff. Steven was our bartender and walked us through the menu and was friendly and attentive. We had the double fried wings as an appetizer along with the brined eggs. Both were good and it was the first for that type of egg recipe. Finished with the black and blue burger with no bun to keep on the keto lifestyle. Was fantastic. This place needs to be a stop if you are in Pagosa.

So good, we went there twice. Beer selection and food were both on point. The lamb burger was probably the best I've had. I also very much enjoy the puppies on the patio.

Wow we absolutely loved this place! Excellent beer, tasty food and the highlight is an outstanding customer service! Rach was our server a few days ago, she is one of the kindest and most accommodating servers we’ve ever had at a restaurant! It’s always a pleasure to find staff who cares about customers and truly loves what they do! Definitely recommend lamb burger and mushroom burger as well as the Yardbird wings. Upgrade to fries (or fries and salad with homemade cilantro vinaigrette) is definitely worth it! Various kinds of beer on tap - lagers, ales, porters, wheat beer, IPA… We went to their other location on the Rio as well and received similarly amazing customer service, I’m happy to recommend both locations!🍻

Amazing burgers and beer! We went on a night with live music, which was fun. We had to wait for a table, but I thought it was worth it!

Stopped here for lunch while driving through town. Was not impressed. I ordered the lamb burger, it was listed as their best seller on the menu, not sure how... The patty wasn't big enough to cover the bun and was very salty. The topping on the burger was good but it shouldn't make the burger. The pickle was just a soggy cucumber that had no flavor. Very disappointed for a $17 burger. Kids had chicken fingers and a corn dog and it was just ok. My wife got a blue cheese burger and again very small patty that was very salty, but the topping and the bacon was really good. Only reason for the 2 stars was that the service was good and the beer was good.

Overall an amazing experience. Staff was great from the hostess to the waitress. The Colorado Cobb salad was delicious and plenty to eat for a very hungry gal just coming off the river. We got a table under a tree with total shade outside, a must for a 90+ day. The stolen roses raspberry wheat was so delicious I took, six pack with me as well. 500 stars!!

Went with to Riff Raff for the first time with a bunch of friends. We sat at the bar and the bartenders were great. The food and beer is excellent. I got the fish and chips which was so good I was craving more the next day. I only wish there was more fish on the plate. My wife got the nachos and she loved them as well. Everyone seemed to love their food and drinks.
Tim Hassler — Google review
We chose Riff Raff to eat as we had our dog. We were met with a “No dogs allowed” sign. We were allowed to sit in an area away from the patio. We had to order our food to go, but we were allowed to drink beer and eat off a 2x12 ledge with stools. This worked functionally, but I would not go back as it was awkward and relatively unwelcoming.

Nachos were probably the best bar nachos we have ever had. Homemade chips, yummy cheese and beef. The Chile cheese bacon fries were also amazing. A+ to the chef! We have at least 2 meals from the serving size. Rachel was so sweet and nice very friendly and actually seems like she loves her job.

In addition to the popular tacos, Kip's also serves burgers such as elk burger.
We went for the fish tacos, but couldn’t get enough of the Pilewski tacos (more like smothered burritos)! They were absolutely amazing! They green chili queso was really good, too.

Kips has great prices compared to other places in Pagosa Springs. Tasty tacos! They give you your food wrapped up in a wad of Tin foil. We ordered drinks which came out after the food. We ordered pomegranate margaritas during happy hour. The margarita was just a red colored regular margarita with no pomegranate flavor. The biggest downside was the waitress. She did not check on us at all. We had to wait to get our check for over 30 minutes while she sat down at the table next to us to talk to her friends. When she gave us our check it was well past happy hour (if she had given us our check on time it would’ve been within happy hour) and did not give us happy hour prices. She did fix this once we pointed it out though.

Great food! Great waitress. 6 guys in my group. Everyone loved lthe food, I got the #1 steak tacos. Great flavor. Nice portions. Sauce choices were good. The only thing that I would change, I wouldn't get steak. Way over cooked. Hard to chew. The pork taco and spicy shrimp tacos were awesome. Burger looked great. #11 I think was the bomb. 2 guys raved about it. 2nd picture

Happy to let a group sit and chat with no pressure to keep the tables turning over.

Such a tragedy! To make such a good burger and to fail so miserably at a fish taco. I mean Really Fail ! Perhaps the miles have kept you away from Baja or even Mexico. No one there would serve you awkwardly sliced white cabbage and paper thin avocado slices (extra cost!) on your taco. The biggest mistake is to take your fish out of the freezer, cut it into half inch cubes and then cook it. What is the result? Dried, Cardboard like overcooked tasteless "fish" cubes. And to add insult to injury, place 3 very tiny pieces of lime on that plate. Oh dear, I am in tears. Never Again!

This place was about a 15 min wall from the springs resort. The place is small but cozy. The jalapeños is where it's at, they were amazing. We got tacos as well. Downside is the service is ok but I only got 1 water refill and never got a chance to try the sauces with the tacos as they were offered and I never got a chance to ask for them.

Great atmosphere, live music. I ordered the jalapeno poppers as a meal and they were amazing. Husband and son had hot dogs. Great food, friendly service.
Jo Powell — Google review
Cannot really say anything about the service or atmosphere because we tried to place a to-go order by phone and no one ever answered. The positive thing, about no one ever answering, is that they are so busy they don't have time to answer the phone. The reason they are so busy is cuz their food is freaking awesome! We ordered the chicken nachos, shrimp, taco salad and barbacoa. Everything was packed nicely so that the food was piping hot by the time we got it home. For my nachos, everything was put on the side so the chips were still crispy, the cheese still melty, and the seasoned, grilled chicken excellent! Nachos came with a side of sour cream, fresh guacamole, and traditional pico. The proportioning was amazing and I had exactly enough chips and cheese to compliment the chicken. The shrimp taco salad was cool and delicious with slices of fresh avocado on top. I don't know much about the barbacoa because my son-in-law devoured it hardly leaving me enough time to take a picture. The sublime look on his face as he was devouring it, said it all. Next time we're in Pagosa we will try to go inside. However, this is some of the best takeout I have ever had. It was obvious a great deal of care was taken and packing everything so that our meal was as good at home as it would have been in the restaurant.

Had the best time here at Kips in Pagosa Springs. The waitress Marie, i think that was her name, was the best. Beers were cold and cocktails were done right. Food was delicious. We came here on a Sunday and there was a 35 minute wait. Once seated in the outdoor patio area, we were greeted by our server, Brittany. Despite being busy, she was friendly, sweet and attentive. We ordered Jalapeño Poppers, which is a must-order! They were delicious but watch out, they are hot, as in if-you-pop-them-into-your-mouth-the-cream-cheese-will-burn-the-insides-of-your-mouth hot! We ordered cheeseburgers for our boys and they crushed it all! My husband enjoyed his Sante Fe Chili. My daughter ordered a chili cheeseburger. It was served like an open faced sandwich that was generously blanketed with the green chili. I had The Esteban and added avocado slices. I used the salsa verde that came with my kids’s burgers to add a nice kick since they didn’t eat it with their meal. It was a great combination and I thoroughly devoured every bit of it. After eating so well, the kids and I definitely deserved dessert! 😉 Ice cream scoops for the boys, Locally Baked Cherry Pie, and Turtle Pecan Cheesecake for my daughter and I to share. The Cherry Pie was my favorite made with real cherries! (I need to go and check out that bakery!) I would definitely come back here next time we pass through or visit and you should too.

I stopped in after an impromptu trip to Colorado from New Mexico. I gave the smothered Green Chili burger a go, as I wanted to see what the Green Chile was like in Colorado as I am native to New Mexico. It was definitely good, and had some good spice. I am used to when something is smothered in Green Chile it being a thicker sauce but it was good and flavorful nonetheless. Now my only issue was how much shredded cheese was on it. There was so much cheese. After scraping some cheese off though I did enjoy the taste. My server was very nice even with it being as busy as it was. I would stop here again if I am in Colorado again.

Great little place in the River. We stopped in for lunch, sat outside next to the river with beautiful mountain views. The setting was great, the server Matt knocked it out of the park. He was knowledgeable about all of the beers, just the right amount of attentive, very engaging and friendly. The food was very good l, and the beers were also very good. I had two separate sampler racks and enjoyed each of the varieties. Would definitely stop in here again, or be here often if I was a local.

Food was great, fun atmosphere with artwork and 70’s music playing. Waitress was very friendly, gave solid recommendations and was prompt in taking our order. The homemade root beer was 🔥. We tried the Rio Tacos with chicken, chorizo and brisket, the chicken was our favorite. Also tried the chicken tortilla soup and it was more like a chili consistency then a soup but the flavor was great. Tried the warm sangria and it was great, I had a sore throat and it helped immensely.

I loved the "Big Lebowski" theme of this place. Atmosphere was wonderful, we sat outside and had a nice view of the river. I had a Beer-BQ Bacon Cheeseburger, and it was excellent! The local draft beer choices were very good as well. Saw some deer while we were there!

Yummy beers & beautiful outdoor area. Unfortunately ~ most of the food options are overpriced & disappointing. Waited 1 hour after ordering for school-cafeteria quality chicken tenders & cold, soggy fries. Would go back for beer/atmosphere/friendly bar-staff! Food & table service has room for improvement.

Really nice location. Sat on the patio overlooking the river, really beautiful. Service was fantastic and our server followed up at just the right times. Nice beer selection and had a fantastic pumpkin ale. Simply delicious. Food was excellent. Will definitely be back when we return to Pagosa Springs.

If you are looking for good food, great beer, and awesome staff look no further. This was our second time in Pagosa Springs, and of course, we had to stop by and have a good time at Riff Raff on the Rio. They have a great variety of beers, and their seasonals are a must-try. My husband and I ordered a flight, and I ended up having a pint of the Skallywag English Style Pale Ale ($6). We also ordered the Beer-Brined Boiled Eggs ($6.50) for our appetizer, and I had Beer-BQ Bacon Cheeseburger with Fries ($17.50). Everything was delicious! I highly recommend this place, and I will definitely go back!

Came in for drinks and to relax and that's exactly what we got. This place has a great atmosphere inside and out. They have a beautiful covered patio or you can sit inside. The beer is delicious and refreshing.

SO good!! Exactly what we were looking for. Driving through from Austin, TX.. we were the crazy people that wanted to sit riverside in the patio in November. The manager Dalton made me exception for us. Our server Lady D was perfect! She was so sweet and accommodating! Excellent suggestions and so friendly. The meatloaf was fantastic. The burger was epic!! Best sweet potato fries ever. Solid old fashion. Great beer. Sweet sounds of a slow rolling river near by. Exactly what we didn’t know we were looking for. ❤️

The San Juan Stout was superb! The Canadian poutine was pretty good! We ordered some boneless and bone-in chicken wings and they were good👍🏼 Come by during the day and enjoy the riverside seating. Expect to pay a higher price than your regular places. Overall it was a good experience.
