Katia was an excellent waitress. The restaurant was swamped when we got there there was only one table it was a 8 place so the waitress was nice enough to split the table up to two tables for us so we could be seated. Taco Tuesday $2 tacos $16 for a picture of margaritas 12.00 for nachos supreme $8 for a nice sized serving of guacamole and their chips and salsa the only little gripe is sour cream was extra dollar. Everything was delicious I wish the nachos would have come out before the tacos but it was okay. But all the food was excellent good flavors fresh taco shells excellent meet excellent right amount of cheese their sauces very good they're guacamole is excellent the staff is is very personable

The margaritas were the best part. I'm from Colorado, so I might be a little biased, but this was the most bland Mexican food I have ever eaten. The reason it's a two star rating and not a 1 it's because of the staff and margarita. But the food was horrible, the layout was super cramped. It was packed with people, so I guess my taste is different, but if you are used to "real" Mexican food, this isn't the place.

Fantastic place! Some of the best customer service and food preparation and presentation. It is a very clean and comfortable environment and the food was absolutely amazing, not too expensive either. They deserve ALL the tips!

Visiting friends and had a hankering for Mexican . They recommended El Toucan. It was mildly busy and waited 15 minutes for a table. The four of us had different entrees . Each was ample and very tasty . Arrived to the table in a reasonable time and hot. The salsa and chips were very good. The nacho chips were freshly made and hot, which resulted in excessive over indulging! Deserves two thumbs up!!

We have the absolute best time food is even better than ever great company service was amazing and the manager was absolutely on top of his game, and made sure we were taken care of. Highly recommend this place not to mention the best margarita.

Nice restaurant, and happy, attentive staff! My deluxe tacos were delicious (pork and mahi), and my mom’s chile rellanos were fresh and delicious. Rice and beans side was a lil bland, but I think we were more disappointed with the salsa made from stewed tomatoes? They had fresh pico on our queso, tacos, and rice however. We also tried a sweetened espresso beverage that was perfect for the end of the meal. They just need a good fresh salsa in our opinion.

This place used to be really good, now I’m not a huge fan. The salsa used to be one of my faves. This salsa tasted like tomato paste with onions, chips were ok. I ordered the pork mojo, taste wasn’t bad. I was told it came with black beans, rice and refried beans. The black beans never came. The refried beans taste like something that would come out of a can, rice was ok. I basically ate the meat and a few bites of the rice and beans but just was not a fan. I will not come back. My coworker got the pineapple chicken and she liked it. Another coworker got the enchiladas and wasn’t a fan. Service was kind of slow. No one came back to check to see if we needed more water or chips.

Came here to celebrate my friends birthday. The only thing that out beat the ambience was the food. It had amazing flavor and the portions were just right. The margaritas were definitely the star of the show. Service was good and the manger was exceptional, so attentive to our table and the ones around us. 10/10 would come again and definitely bring my friends ❤️🫶💕

Stopped in at prime time for a Friday night. Since it was St Patrick's Day, I expected fewer people, but not the emptiness we found. This place used to be packed! It is under new ownership and has a completely new menu. Happy hour $4 margarita was filled with ice, so it didn't last long. I like that we were asked if we wanted salt or sugar on the rim. The big surprise was how huge the pork chimichurri bowl was! Very flavorful and garlicky. More than enough for 2 people. It came with rice, beans and 2 tostones. At $15.50 it was a very generous portion.

First time here. We went to try their taco Tuesday specials. To be honest, We were somewhat disappointed. The only real deal was the basic beef taco for $2, or you got $1 off any taco. My wife got a margarits which was strong, but she didn't like the alcohol they used. It had an odd medicine aftertaste. There were no tap beers available this evening so I had a Madello Negro in bottle, which was served cold and was good. My beef taco had jalopenoes, lettuce, cheese, and olives. The meat was rather bland without the peppers. My chicken taco was bland and dry. I had to add salsa to enjoy it. We tried the fish taco, which was very crispy but also dry with a fishy (off) smell. The best taco was the pulled pork. It was the most flavorful but served luke warm. We ordered a side of guacamole with the chips. It had a nice texture but also was bland. I had to add some salt to make it enjoyable, something I rarely need to do. The chips served were quite good. Overall, the service is very good and the food is just average. It took about 30 minutes for the tacos to cone out, at least on Tavo Tuesday. We felt that Salsas Cocina in Cocoa Beach was a better value and had more flavor. Maybe the regular menu is better. We will have to see.

Lived in the area for 40 years and my first time visiting. The salsa was really good and quest was good. We ordered the enchiladas and the sauce was not very tasty. That was the opinion of 2 people. Had a “different” taste. The service was great. I will return and will order something else. Always willing to give another try.

This was a very enjoyable experience. The staff here is friendly and attentive. They make sure to check on you and make sure you are alright. The food here is beyond delicious. The atmosphere here is enjoyable.

Hubby got fried shrimp with a side of summer salad and baked potato and I got 3 tacos ( crispy fish, Mango Salsa Ahi Tuna Taco, and blackened mahi mahi) as well as I ordered a side of cheesy grits based off reviews, then we also god a kids chicken fingers and fries. So first of all, let me start by saying the fried shrimp was absolutely, hands down, the BEST fried shrimp my husband and I have ever had. Not too salty, really tame, not over cooked, crispy and somehow melted in my mouth… this was the star of the show. Highly recommend this! His summer salad was what you would expect, loved the dressing! I also want to note our bread came fresh and was also really delicious! My daughters chicken tenders were 100% hand-made, loved the quality and amount we got for the price! These were not some cheap frozen chicken tenders, they were really good! So I ordered 3 different tacos, they were all okay. My main complain is that none of them seemed to have a lot of sauce, so they were lacking a bit in terms of flavor. I went into it thinking the tuna taco would be my favorite, but turns out the fried fish taco was the best out of the 3 I had. Lastly I want to talk about these cheesy grits. As I mentioned I got them based off previous reviews, but in my honest opinion, these were terrible. I took 1 bite and didn’t even eat any more. There was zero flavor, it tasted watered down, and there really wasn’t much cheese at all. I really hated these and I don’t recommend you get them. All in all, we will be coming back here! It’s a cute little place and we really enjoyed most of our food!

I stumbled on Molly's Seafood Shack after kayaking near Cocoa Beach. My pic does not do justice to the amazing flavors of the Calamari & Shrimp Po'Boy I chose. Both had a very light maybe beer battered breading, the Po'Boy had so much shrimp, the pickles were crunchy and I loved it!♥️ Can't get this in Wisconsin so I'm always looking for these in the South. Kimmers was my server and she was awesome! She served my rolls with cinnamon butter almost before I opened my menu. I chose a Florida beer from Intercoastal Brewing... Hope I can get that in Wisconsin. I WILL BE BACK, If I'm back in the area in the future. Thanks to the chef and Kimmers for an outstanding meal!

The food was ok, but not really worth the price you paid for it. I was not expecting my Ceasars salad to come put brown. We did get to try some sushi for free since the cook had some time to play around in the kitchen on a Friday night. My advice skip it and go to red Lobster. The best part of the meal was the rolls with the cinnamon honey butter.

This is a tough review for us as it was the first time here, after wanting to try this place for nearly two years living in the area, and some of the food was served cold or lukewarm. It may been a bad day in the kitchen but it unfortunately made the meal less desirable. We chose three meat combo that my wife and I would split to try their different offerings. It was a 3:00 Sunday meal so an odd time and the place was fairly empty. We were seated and ordered some drinks. The Amberbach was served nicely cold and was really good on this hot afternoon. We ordered a combo with Baby Back Ribs (for an upcharge), the pulled pork and BBQ chicken. For sides we had the tator tots and smoked rice and a cornbread muffin. It all looked great, but as soon as we stated to eat, the ribs were ice cold one rib in. We called the waitress over immediately after trying the ribs and she happily took the ribs back and they made a another portion for us. She explained that the ribs are pre made and then heated up on the grill when ordered. We then tried the chicken which was hot and tasted fine. When we tried the pulled pork it was just room temperature. At that point we didn't want to call the waitress back as the ribs still weren't ready yet but figured we we just take it to go. When we got the 2nd set of ribs they seemed to be hot, but we soon realized the bottom was barely warm. We summized either the oven was off or someone the the kitchen was not turning the meat. It all tasted fine and this should have been a 4 rated meal, but we could not enjoy the experience with improperly heated meat. At least the sides of tator tots and smokey rice were hot and tasty. So, it was hard to give this locstion a higher rating soley based on the temperature of the food. Flavor wise, all was very good. The waitress really tried to accommodate us with another serving of pulled pork, so it was not her fault, but then again, they could have taken some of cost off after complaining twice. I am willing to try again, but definetly not on a Sunday afternoon.

My wife and I were on our family vacation and we got a night away. We chose to go to Sonny’s, which came highly recommended- and we were excited that it lived up to the reviews! Our waitress Elle (maybe Ella) was charming and pleasant. Very attentive to our needs and overall quite wonderful!! We ordered a sampler - and totally understand why it is a favorite!! Tender meats - magnificently smoked - and options for multiple original house recipe BBQ sauce! Our taste buds were dazzled and we left, adding this to a favorites list for when we return!!

The food was good, the service is good, the place is super clean and the atmosphere is great. The only thing that I can share with you that I wish I had known is they have unlimited BBQ for $25 (not on the menu) and I got the sampler which was amazing but it was $18 and I would have happily gotten the all you can eat.

We went for the pork sandwich special and the food was good and the service was outstanding. One of us got the pork sandwich with fries and the other one of us got it with beans. Skip the fries. They weren't crispy, just barely done. The baked beans were VERY good, don't miss those. We both ordered the sandwich on garlic bread.... so much better than a roll. You should ask them to cut it half for you in the kitchen because it isn't easy to do that with the knife you are given at the table. We will be back!

I can be pretty fussy about BBQ food but my mom recommended we go here for lunch. We got the sampler so we could do a little bit of everything and also got fried okra (because I LOVE fried okra) and the corn nuggets. Everything was delicious and nothing was disappointing. The brisket paired perfectly with the original BBQ sauce (okay, well, everything went well with the original BBQ sauce). The beans were tasty, not too sweet, not too smoky. The Mac and cheese was tasty and cooked perfectly (not mushy and lacking flavor like most places). The garlic bread was a definite plus. The corn nuggets are delicious and carne to the table SUPER fresh and hot, as did the okra which was perfectly executed and not slimy inside like so many places manage by over cooking it. I was in okra heaven. I'd definitely eat here again and Zane, our server, was polite, responsive, and very helpful with recommendations and answering questions.

I usually come to Sonny’s for ribs, I switched it up this time and ordered the dry rub chicken wings fried crispy. Glad I tried something different because they were awesome. Miles was our waiter he was awesome, checked on us making sure everything was alright, refilled our drinks as needed, very courteous and polite. Thanks Miles Great job!!!!

Great homemade BBQ w sauces to choose from. Ribs were so good! Homemade Mac n cheese was excellent and don't forget to get cinnamon donuts! Place was clean and staff was excellent!! Highly recommend!

I loved this Sonny's more than the one in St. Petersburg! Extra friendly & courteous staff. And the food was AMAZING!! Those ribs, even without ant sauce were juicy, succulent, & flavorful!! We will be back !! 💕💕💕💕💕

I just ordered through a delivery app and got the Cuban sandwich meal and a side of BBQ Dirty Rice ($3.49)... I will insert pictures, but what the dirty rice looks like on the menu, and what I was charged this ridiculous price for are incredibly different. Mine came in the tiny little white Styrofoam bowl and literally had 2 small pieces of sausage in it. The one in the picture I took after I had a couple of bites of just rice and corn, and one other small piece that was less than half the size of the photographed one. Disappointing... The Cuban sandwich was alright, other than the fact that the "pulled pork" on one half of it was one glob of fatty tissue and one burnt end that I couldn't even bit through. The other half was just one solid piece of pork that I had to take out and shred with my fingers and put back into the sandwich. It's been a while since I have ordered Sonny's, and now I remember why...

We put a late night order in for 6 people at 9:45 and they closed at 10pm. After a hangry family car ride from the beach we picked up all of our food less than 10 minutes later. The chef/kitchen staff let us know they were out of Brisket and made some quick substitutions for other things. The food was phenomenal, portion sizes were large and our whole car raved about what we had and how good it was. Thank you guys for accommodating us tonight, we will look you up again when we are back in town!

Server was friendly, quick, and attentive! Place was spacious and clean. Food were huge and delicious! Come here if you’re craving bbq and wanna pig out! Love their family meal. Please add more cheese on the loaded Tater Tots! Everything’s tasty!

Terrific BBQ here in Florida. Ribs, brisket and pulled pork were all very good. Nice selection of sauces to try on the table. Iced tea was really good. Cole slaw was a bit bland.

Birthday celebration with the fam. Waitress Stephanie was great, there was no wait when we walked in . Service was prompt . Food was excellent as Sonny's food is . What I had, the big deal . Sandwich and two sides was more than enough for me , youngest had all you can eat turkey with two sides , oldest had brisket dinner with two sides . Fun was had by all , they came out singing happy birthday with banana pudding which they are famous for(understandably so if you kno anything about southern cooking) Redneck Egg Rolls were ah-mazing as usual, the BEST coleslaw.

Our waiter Miles was the best!! His energy, and personality what made our night out? Very pleasant. Getting off from a rough hard day of work and coming to eat at a place where the person like that makes you want to come back for more. So whoever's reading this. Please stop in and see Miles at Sonny's on Merritt Island.

We had the honor of having the owner, Kelly, as our server. She was so enjoyable and helpful! The food is always impeccable. I recommend the country bowl with chicken or the chicken and waffles. This place will forever be our breakfast go-to.

First timers here, all the way from Minnesota! Our server Kathy was great! The other two servers, Aspen & Blaine, were very friendly and checked on us multiple times as well! Amazing food. Good service. Friendly staff. Food(Chicken) was a bit dry for my friend but I think it was because we came in late. Otherwise amazing amazing! Don’t doubt just go. They also have a washing station which I appreciate especially if one doesn’t want to use hand sanitizer but just a good hand wash. Place closes at 2pm.

One of the greatest places I've been to in a long time! Always make sure to stop by here when I'm in town!! Kathy was an absolute delight for our waitress! The food is as always top notch! Just an all-around good experience definitely recommend anybody stopping by if they're in Merritt Island Florida, even if you're not in Merritt Island Florida it's definitely worth driving here from wherever you are!!

Baby wanted waffle House. I wanted to support local. Based on reviews I had high expectations. Visually, the food was picture perfect but.... The pancakes were "too fat"- I know, you think it can't be possible but they were dryish bc the syrup did not penetrate. (I guess) Pretty sure the eggs were boxed. And the hash browns were unflavored. Just diced potatoes. Service was amazing and everyone was very friendly. I think I was asked if "everything was ok" by everyone in the restaurant at least once. Unfortunately, I left wishing we had just gone to WH.

I've been here a couple of times so far, and now this is going to be a regular place. The first time was a pickup order, which was a pleasant and easy process. The second time, we sat down at the diner and the experience was great. The space feels open and airy. Of course the food is the reason we keep returning because it is the BOMB!!! 💣

We’ve been going to the Merritt Island Pancake House since moving here in 2020. The food is always amazing. The staff is extremely service-oriented and very friendly. Liann and Ashley are amazing. They go out of their way to make sure we get what we want. Our family asks to go there every time they visit. Our adult children love the potato puff side order option with yum-yum sauce. We recommend it to all of our friends.

Best burger I've had in a long time, very juicy and cooked just right. Absolutely loved the brown gravy and potatoes, didn't care much for the gray gravy on the biscuits. But my partner said that's how it's supposed to taste, so that may just be on me. French toast was super sweet, I'm not a fan of sweets but my partner assured me they were amazing.

We are very pleased with our very tasty breakfast today! My husband ordered biscuits and gravy, which he LOVED, and fruit cakes which he loved too! Our son got waffles and chicken which was amazing but too much for him to eat, could have shared. I got the banana foster pancakes which my hubby preferred. My fresh fruit and combo breakfast was the hit! I have to say the staff were beyond sweet and their service was top notch! Only regret I have is we ordered too much and I wish we could take it with us but can’t since we are traveling today. Hands down, if you are near here- COME HERE you won’t regret it but come HUNGRY

Incredible service and food. The fried mashed potatoes were amazing. Tons of GF options. The bacon and eggs were perfect. The waffles were a little too firm/thick for me. The lighting is a little harsh for ambiance. However the overall experience was great. We would go back for sure. Get the fried mashed potatoes!!

Came on a Sunday about 930am. Service team was fantastic. Laid back vibe, AMAZING food. They kept the coffee coming. I’ve never felt more taken care of in a restaurant! I got the blueberry cheesecake pancakes - they were thick and beyond delicious. I had to tell my husband not to dive into his French toast. I mean — look at that plating!! Absolutely EXCELLENT!!!

The fluffiest pancakes I've ever seen! So many delicious options, including the ability to SAFELY make most things gluten free! The service was top notch. We will definitely return anytime we are in the area.

Today was St. Patrick's Day and also my birthday. Today my dad got to the restaurant around 10 am and I was supposed to be there by 1030 but my boyfriend and i went to the one in Rockledge..... realized my mix up and came to the Merritt island location. Everyone was very kind and attentive to their surroundings. Got our order quick and food quick along with so many other around us. We had Rachelle as a server and she was so great! As I'm sure it wasn't easy for her having to have a table sit there so long on a busy day but they truly made this birthday a special one. Also great great cup of coffee! Thank you! 10 out of 10

Gluten Free HEAVEN! Made the short drive from our vacation house in cocoa beach to this amazing place. We came specifically because the menu online showed many gluten free options. I got the custard/fruit French toast but subbed for gf waffles. Absolutely delicious, easily one of the best gluten free meals I’ve ever had! My husband got the chicken and waffles gluten free and it was perfection! The chicken was perfectly cooked and so crispy on the outside. The waffles had great flavor and texture. Service was equally as good! We might just come here every morning of our vacation!

I honestly loved the seasoning here better than l*nghorn steakhouse, but both are very good overall. The bread surprise me, it's warm and sweet and with the whipped butter, it's amazing! I unfortunately did not like the blooming sauce since it has too much horseradish for my liking. But their fried mushroom is the best! Not too oily, very juicy and flavorful and the bone in rib eye are tender. The dessert that has timtams on it is great too. Service is fast and attentive, although my waitress look a bit annoyed since we were rushing a bit since we don't have much time. But overall, I enjoyed it.

My niece took me here for Mother's Day. It was full and we had to wait for a moment but we understood. We didn't have to wait very long to be seated though. We had great customer service. I will be posting what was ordered. Food was prepared well. Every penny that was spent was worth it. For me.. I will be coming back and I would recommend this place to friends and family. My niece started eating from her plate before I took pictures.

Been a long time since we've been to an Outback! A pleasant experience. Peach Bellini was fantastic, as was the Bloomin' Onion! Had some awesome pasta, Bloomin' Onion flavored chicken, fantastic shrimp, and of course, steak! Really enjoyed all of the food *and* we even got some awesome gift cards with our meal as a thanks to all the moms on Mother's Day! Looking forward to coming back soon.

Food is and always has been excellent, expensive, but excellent. $100 for my wife and I and two kids, so $25/person but excellent nonetheless, oh except my loaded baked potato. The first time I ever feel like my loaded baked potato was loaded by a penny pincher. I had to reload it at home to make it less of a baked potato with some stuff on top and more like I expected. Pretty sure the butter wasn't on it either. Bread is still on another level though.

Our waitress Michelle W. is what made our dining experience so great! She was the most friendly, accommodating, attentive waitress we have ever experienced. This is the second time we have been lucky enough to have her as our waitress & she is just the nicest person you would ever want to meet. The other employees were also friendly & accommodating throughout our visit. The “Bloomin Onion” was perfectly prepared and our meals were delicious. Highly recommend this Outback location.

I wanted to sit at the bar, have lunch with a beer and checked Google Maps for several minutes for a photo of the bar. So I’m posting one. Not much of a selection of IPA’s or Craft Beers, so a bit disappointed, actually only one! The Chili was very good, some of the best around. The Alice Springs Chicken as awesome as it always is. Note: The Lunch Portion was 1/3 the size of the dinner portion at $12.99 what I paid for the dinner portion 15-25 years ago. Service was prompt and friendly.

A bit expensive but very delicious and worth it. I had a french onion soup with melted cheese loaded on top and loved it. I also had chips with a loaded dip made of meat and all kinds of melted cheese. Also very tasty. My friend had his favorite t-bone steak and loaded baked potato. Great choices of drinks as well.

Had a nice experience the food was as we ordered and came out to the table promptly. We were greeted with a smile and our server was fantastic! Some of the best service we have had in a long time. Food was reasonably priced compared to other places. We tried the meatloaf and Alice Springs Chicken. Really good, the chicken was a little dry on the end but ok. The Tasmania Chili was as spicy as it sounded and I don’t like spice. Will definitely be back.

Just had an excellent time with my son. They hooked my son up with a great steak because he doesn't like the normal spice on outback streaks so the chef took care of that. Jackie was very nice and checked in us the perfect amount of times. Also provided all the info we needed. Great experience and the food amazing.

Went here for Valentine's Day. My wife and I both had the 3 course meal that came with a piece of cheesecake. I ate mine there and it was small but decent. My wife got hers to go and they brought it out in a paper bag. I didn't think anything of that until I got home and looked and found that it was the smallest piece of cheesecake I've ever seen! More like a sample you'd get at Sam's or Costco. Very disappointing!

Great customer service, food came out fast and everything was cooked to perfection!

Eric was our Server at the Merritt Island Outback Steakhouse. We has numerous special requests. He handled them flawless and very professionally. We didn’t spend much. Just an Entree and sides with ice water. No appetizer or deserts. Eric treated us with the utmost respect and made sure we needed for nothing. We hope Eric gets the recognition he deserves for being an outstanding server, and representative, of Outback Steakhouse. Oh, and both our steaks were cooked perfectly. The sides were on point, and served hot. An awesome experience all the way around.

The food was outstanding, cooked to perfection. The server was excellent. He was professional and also very personable. It's not often that a restaurant will reach out and it was much appreciated. We will return simply because they care. They were busy but never missed a beat. The lady working the door for seating was also super nice and helpful.

The service was exceptional. They offered fresh bread and butter which was quite tasty. Unfortunately my pallet couldn't handle the Blumen Onion as it was extremely oily. If you like fried food you may enjoy it more

The food is always good. But I can tell you withput a doubt the bar staff is top notch! They have been there a long time and they are a great crew. They make solid drinks and conversation! Outback is one of the few places left you can get affordable cocktails around the Island.
