Auto Race Tracks
The Charlotte Motor Speedway is a highly-rated, 138,000 seat stadium which hosts NASCAR races as well as other events. It's also home to a drag racing track and other attractions.
We did the drive through fan experience and it was way better than you would imagine from their website description. The history of the track was great and we got to drive and walk on the track and stop in the winners circle as well as the start/ finish line. It was pretty awesome!

Very nice and updated track, huge! Seating is bench seating with looonnggg benches, so if you are seated in the middle grab your food and go potty before sitting down, it is nearly impossible to slid back out. Be prepared for the children, this track offers $10 child tickets, so if you are not kid friendly, you may want to skip this one. Otherwise, great food & bars on site, plenty of bathrooms, and handicapped accessibility. Overall a great track!

We went here with a group from our neighborhood for lunch and a tour. Lunch was wonderful, but the tour was awesome! We were driven on the track and took a fast and furious drive around the turns! So much fun! If you ever have the chance to do this tour, do it!
Cruisejunkie — Google review
Christmas lights at the speedway were wonderful. Although the wait was nearly 4 hours, once we made it to the lights it was like we never even waited. Such a magical experience with lots of effort put into setting up the lights, the music, everything. Great way to celebrate Christmas imo

I absolutely LOVED this track. It was my first experience with a Nascar event and I enjoyed every moment! It was a bit confusing getting to my seat but the staff was very helpful. Parking was complicated. The people directing traffic sent us to an RV park and we drove in circles for 20 minutes trying to get out. It was 20$ once we found a place to park. As always, I want more vegan options but the atmosphere was decent and the patrons were diverse and kind.

My husband and son loved their birthday/graduation/Christmas presents. They did the tide along with an experienced driver followed by driving the cars all by themselves. They absolutely loved it. I've never seen them smile so big. They are still coming down off their high. I scored big brownie points.

Visited the Speedway for the Xtreme Xperience and all I can say is wow! There was also a similar NASCAR drive event happening there at the same time so it was great to hear the real sounds associated with stock car racing while simultaneously experiencing the high speed / exotic cars we were there to drive! Ventured to the restrooms while there and was pleasantly surprised how clean they were.

Great track to watch a race. Went to see the 2022 Coca-Cola 600 & 2022 Alsco 300 Great signage inside and out. Lots of food choices including food trucks inside the track. Now parking was a nightmare. Even had prepaid parking but no one directing traffic into lots.
James Scott — Google review
Went to the Arca and truck race.. both were awesome and good seats. Food is way overpriced and even water. Some places were selling water for $5-$10 outrageous. So bring your own and pick up food before, and they did not accept cash for anythingthing in the gates, so it was card only

The speedway is spectacular and to talk about The Bank of America ROVAL 400. It is an unforgettable experience filled with energy and adrenaline. The race lasts just over 3 hours with 109 laps, each featuring 17 thrilling turns. Watching the cars zoom by is exhilarating, and the engine sounds are unique. Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity; it's perfect for family outings, hanging out with friends, or even a memorable first date. It's an experience that will stay with you forever.

We attended the holiday lights festival. The kids, especially the younger ones, really enjoyed it. The adults enjoyed driving on the track. We arrived at 6pm on a Monday night and only waited in line for about 15mins to enter.
Brad Kosar — Google review
We went to see Christmas decorations. The entrants cost is 45 $ per car. And its a bit much for the light show that we saw. There are some nice lights decorations and there're very simple one. They have a village Christmas lights in the middle where you can walk, grilled smorth on fire. And there's a shop you can buy different things. Also you can buy snacks. There's a screen you can watch a movie seating in a car.

I was invited by my sponsor Blackpearlshowboards along with Mr Ed. It was Mustang 6oth Anniversary. We were right outside the Pavillion Auto Show Case. Joey Logano his family and dad all came back and saw Black Beauty. I autographed pictures for Joey Logano kids. Now I can mark that off my bucket list

The whole facility around CMS is top tier. I love this track especially for the Coke 600 on Labor Day Weekend. It’s one of NASCAR’s most iconic tracks and I always enjoy spending a weekend here. The whole track area is laid out very nicely and we even found a great area for parking! The fan zone and fan experience is amazing as well. Overall Charlotte is one of the best NASCAR Tracks to visit for a race weekend.

Nature & Parks
Frank Liske Park is a popular recreational area in Concord, NC that offers picnic pavilions, athletic fields, mini-golf and a boating lake for fishing. The park also boasts of a nature playground with unique play structures such as giant worm balance beams and honeycomb climbing structures. Visitors can also explore wooded areas but need to be cautious of poison ivy. Overall, Frank Liske Park provides an excellent outdoor experience for families looking to have fun under the sun.
It's a nice park, long trails for walking. There's a lake in the middle of the park. I enjoy seating here and looking at ducks and geese. There are a lot of squirrels. Also you can find places for barbecue and sport areas as well. You can spend a lovely day with your family there.
Elena Makoviy — Google review
We live less than a mile from this park so we are here quite often… It is fantastic! Wonderful walking trails, dog friendly, multiple playgrounds and family shelter/picnic facilities throughout, a lake with paddle boats, a massive soccer/softball complex, mini golf, disc golf course… The list goes on. The park is well-maintained and the restrooms are always clean and in good order. Highly recommended.
Greg Chisom — Google review
On a hot June day we wanted to give the kids a place to play outside in the Concord NC area. Upon arrival at Frank Liske Park we quickly found the play area. With the high June sunshine the sunscreen over the play structure was fantastic. After playing on the play structure they moved to the nature playground. Here concrete turns into a giant worm balance beam, a honeycomb is a climbing structure, a cave with “crystals” as a tunnel. Logs are set up for a fort. Overall the kids had a fun hour of play before we had to leave. They was still a lot let to see but our time did not allow. One thing to be careful of is the poison ivy in the wooded area by the nature playground.
Jason Brandt — Google review
This is such a beautiful park with a huge open space for many activities. We were able to reserve one of the Pavillions for several hours for our event and it was perfect. Since this area is used for shows and performances, there are benches running across that we were able to use for additional seating for those that did not bring their chairs.
T Brazz — Google review
Beautiful park; well kept & maintained. There's a lake & I think I saw paddle boats too. Plenty if shelters to use to hang out or for cookouts. Playgrounds for the kids, baseball fields, a mini sandbox for a game of volleyball, and even some holes to golf. The park is big enough that even when it seems full (i.e. a lot of people) everything is spaced out enough that you're not on top of each other! I don't live on this side of town and not really the type to go to parks: however, I'll definitely come back to this one.
Liam Golzar — Google review
This park is so beautiful and spacious, golf, tennis, volleyball, fishing and paddle boats they even have spaces for rental for different venues. Definitely my happy place to walk, or just sit in the sun 🌞 and meditate! You can also feed the ducks 🦆
elaine britt — Google review
One of our more recent favorite parks to visit. Lots of trail walking and variety of parks for smaller and older children. Has duck feeding stations as well. Nice walk around the water. And, if you’re into geochaching have a few of those there as well.
Alona Lit — Google review
This park is absolutely lovely. People bring their dogs but they keep them on leashes unless they're really good. It's huge. They have a miniature golf area you can rent paddle boats kayaks and canoes. There are several playgrounds for the children in several areas for cookouts with friends and family. There's also plenty of space for picnics. They also have frisbee golf. There are plenty of restrooms but they are far and few in between
Mo H (Monie360) — Google review
Very nice park. I usually walk the 2 mile track (which is partially covered with trees - great for the summer heat)! The grounds are very well maintained all year around - if you’re looking for a shorter walk, there’s a nice (gravel) path around the lake! I haven’t tried the pedal boats or rental canoes yet, but that is something I may do the next time I have visitors! Would recommend!
Sean M — Google review
We had a birthday party for my two year old twin grandsons on Saturday. The park was beautiful and the facilities very well maintained. The playground was great for the kids which were ages 1 1/2 to 4. The grass and the lake were beautiful. There were lots of people there, but it did not seem crowded at all. I highly recommend a day in the park for anyone.
Sandy Rogers — Google review
Beautiful park with plenty to do for the entire family. There’s several playgrounds with a sand box & volleyball, you can also rent out inside newly build space for graduation parties … the pond has fish and paddle boats with the ducks to entertain 😂
Lady Storm — Google review
Great park within the city limits. Park offers walking trails, lake walk trails, open gym, Frisbee golf course, Cabarrus party hall, Barbecue pits
Sujit Kanna — Google review
Very pleasant park with a good walking trail, and picnic areas. Good playgrounds, very clean, and safe. Has a mini golf course for the kids. A lot of open space. I saw people walking their dogs here as well. Great for families!
Ed Ortega — Google review
Having lived in the Harrisburg area for some 13 years, I've visited Frank Liske Park on hundreds of occasions. In that time, the Cabarrus County parks department has done a wonderful job maintaining and improving this recreational gem. It offers miles of walking trails, reservable picnic shelters, disc golf and miniature golf courses, pickleball and tennis courts – all surrounding a beautiful lake. A new silo/monument and barn facility (replacing the ones that were destroyed by fire) were completed in 2023 and can be reserved for a variety of family and group activities. If you live nearby, this park is definitely worth visiting.
The Machine Photography — Google review
One of the best parks in cabarrus county. Beautiful lakes where you can ride paddle boats. Long walking trails where you can jog and take in the fresh air. Spacious shelters you can rent for parties. This park has it all! Highly recommend for all folks that live close by to come enjoy nature near you!

Specialty Museums
This museum celebrates all things Mustang, with rotating exhibits that appeal to both Ford enthusiasts and Mustang lovers alike. The museum is located in Concord, NC, and is very reasonably priced with a gift shop too. It's an easy drive from Asheville or Greenville, and is a great stop for anyone interested in this iconic car.
My husband surprised we with this visit. It was a great little museum with mustangs that owners bring to the museum to show. Their collection changes every 6 months or so. The lady at the entrance was so knowledgeable about all the cars in the museum. She also pointed us in the right direction to get parts for my own mustang. If you are in the area, this is a great find.
Cathy Krahn — Google review
My significant other, his brother and I went here for something to do after we got lunch. When we walked in, there was no wait to see the Mustangs in the museum and it didn't cost much at all. Before we went to explore, a friendly staff member was telling us the history of the Mustangs and if we had any questions to come and ask her. The museum was very clean. They also had a wall that people, including yourself could sign. Which I think was very neat! We definitely signed the wall. Although, the wall was covered in signatures. So when you visit, it's going to be hard to find a spot to sign your name. All in all we had a wonderful time. Definitely a good place to go if you're looking for knowledge and history of Mustangs.

Absolutely Amazing Place! One of a kind cars and displays you won't see anywhere else! Definitely worth going and great gift shop! Will be going back when they switch displays out. Can't wait!

Woo-hoo was great! Husband loved it. He entered the raffle for a car. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable. Cost $10 adults. Got to it off US-29 N to Carpenter Ct. Easy peasy!

As a Mustang lover, this is a must see! My family & I thoroughly enjoyed the museum. But, I must say talking to the owners was by far the best part of the experience. They were so kind. I like that the cars change every six months, so there will always be new cars to look at. My sons enjoyed signing the wall too.
Christy Elder — Google review
A must visit if you are a Ford Mustang enthusiast! It's not a huge museum but the quality of Mustangs and exhibits are well worth it. The cars on display rotate in and out every few months, so there is usually something new to see. Entry fee is pretty cheap. Each car on display has a small placard that details its history and uniqueness. There are three main rooms of Mustangs and various Mustang items on display. Everything is under air conditioning which is a great break from the summer heat. They do have a shop selling various Mustang/Ford items at decent prices too. The museum also hosts Mustang car shows outside throughout they year, which is a great combination - go see a car show outside, then come inside and visit the museum. I've taken my boys to these a few times and it's a great Mustang experience. The facilities and Mustangs on display are kept in great condition as well, and everyone working there is so kind and knowledgeable. This is a great experience for Mustang lovers! Go see it!!
Eric Ransone — Google review
This is a great place for Mustang lovers and Ford enthusiasts. They borrow cars from private owners every six months, so the displays change twice a year. A few cars remain there permanently the barn find. The woman at the check in desk was very knowledgeable and took us for a brief tour telling us about each special display before we bruised at our own pace. Very reasonably priced with a gift shop too!
Julie Wallace — Google review
Staff was very friendly & there were some very cool cars when I visited. The museum is not just for Mustang fans, but non-mustang fans might find the admission price a bit high.

This is a really nice mall. Several modern amenities. Great store selection. Clean fun atmosphere.
Adam H — Google review
It's been a while since I visited this mall. I got here bright and early around 9 am and met up with some friends for some Angel Tree Christmas shopping. They have a lot of stores and different then what I remember. They have a Burlington, Books-A-Million, VS, Bath & Body works, Shoe stores, AMC, Old Navy, and a bunch of other regular retail stores. They had a lot of sales still going on for Christmas and we were able to find a lot of our gifts in about 3 stores. The mall was very clean when we arrived and, of course, empty on a Wednesday morning, which was awesome as their were no wait times, and we were able to go in and get out fast. They have a beautiful carousel in the middle of the food court, which is $5 per ride. I don't often come to this mall as it is further away from me, but when I do come, I have a pleasant experience and find all the stores that I need. It's a big mall with PLENTY of parking to choose from.
Jennifer — Google review
If you want great deals, this is the place to come to. Lots of outlet stores with killer sales. The mall is huge so be sure to wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be doing a lot of walking. Between the shopping experience, the variety of stores and the wide restaurants options in the area, this is a top destination for entertainment / shopping in Charlotte. There is a store for everyone here, even people who are into model trains! If you wanna get a tattoo, you can do that to!
Ed Diaz — Google review
Nice, lively mall, it’s definitely not one of those half dead places. However it’s huge and can be very overwhelming. They finally got a Starbucks which is nice. There’s something there for about anyone. The reason for three stars is that if you go on a weekend evening the bathrooms are filthy and it’s full of rude people. It literally feels unsafe and their security looks pathetic. My little mall in my hometown, even Walmart, usually has a police officer around. I have never seen one at concord mills, not inside at least. And last night we had to leave the movie theater because people were fighting 3/4 of the way through the movie and scared my kid. If this happened about anywhere else I’ve lived the cops would have been there immediately. I never even saw security go in the theater. The staff were nice and gave us a refund but my advice is if you wanna come here go during a weekday or early on the weekend and be out by 3. Sketchy place when it’s busy.
M B — Google review
A good mall, lots of stores, moderate crowds but manageable walkways. Lots of attractions, stores, fast foods. Little vacancy. Good place to shop. Good location near interstate.
Driven — Google review
This is an outlet mall with almost all brands you’re looking for are available. On the weekends it is very crowded. Individuals under the age of 18 has to be with an adult. Food court was packed on the weekend.
?mer?in Maceralar? — Google review
Visited Concord Mills for the first time in several months and was greeted at the entrance by security. One of the first signs visible is that young people of certain age must be accompanied by their parents. Gone are the days of just dropping them off and hoping for the best. Also, there were Concord police presence walking around, including K9. This securing of this mall investment is appreciated as there are numerous stores, restaurants and other activities that will draw families to visit and the need for feeling safe is important. Only issue is the mall closes at 8 so getting there earlier is imperative to do and see everything. Also, walking the mall is equivalent to approx 2.5 miles around (😀mall walkers)
Melissa Enoch — Google review
What a beautiful mall! There are many malls across the country that are shutting down, and being let go. But this place is like going on a vacation. Hundreds of stores fully staffed, and it is super clean. Everything from Fashion to Bass Pro shop all in one place. A shout out to the management, and to the custodial team! Super clean every where you walk, even in the food court. So much diversity of people shopping and having fun. It was nice to see police and security present helping to make it a safe place. One of the best malls in the country right now. A DREAM MALL

Aye! When you in the Carolinas you pretty much in the middle of everything. Most people think when you down south there ain't really nothing to do (especially from up North), but naw. I love this mall, its a pretty dope place to shop or do whatever.

Amazing with lot of stores. Food pavilion is clean vast with many eating choices. The carousel 🎠 is a lovely amusement for kids cost $4 per single ride, less for extended rides. Vending machines are tapped. My debit card was skimmed and subject to fraud. Vending machine on entrance .closest to the door, to the right
Mazen Trabulsi — Google review
I’m been coming to this mall for over 20 years. It’s still one of my favorite mall’s in the area. With the recent crimes taking place at locations such as this. It’s good to see the added security. But I only saw security at the main entrances. Which left store and service entrances unguarded. This being a main tourist attraction, maybe we’ll see more security measures in the future.
Francis H — Google review
Tired of going here and being harassed by the shoe cleaners and body oil venders. Sometimes I just want to come for a nice walk around and window shop. I don’t go here to be catcalled just to buy something that’s too overpriced. I hope the owner of this mall gets rid of them. Would enjoy my experience more if they did.
Prod Rvxxie — Google review
Came here while on vacation to shop, very nice mall and great food court options. There is really a store for everyone and it’s good in the winter to be able to shop indoors. This mall is also a true outlet and I got some great sales while here at pacsun, vineyard vines, American eagle and Aeropostale. The outdoor world/bass pro shop is also giant and has lots of things to shop for. I’d definitely come back if in this area again.

I love going to this mall. It’s less fancy than most but in a good very cozy way. It’s up to date and a great place to go walk or exercise because it’s set up as a circle. I love the food from the food court. Also there’s only one floor so no stairs.

The Hendrick Motorsports Museum and Team Shop is a historic site where race fans can learn about the history of NASCAR powerhouse Hendrick Motorsports. The museum has exhibits on the inner workings of racecars and the technology used by Cup Series teams. The Team Shop sells merchandise related to NASCAR racing.
What an amazing place for a Nascar fan to visit! I was there during Fan Fest before the Coke 600 and there was so much to see and do. The museum was so cool to see all the different cars and trophies. A must visit place for all Nascar fans!
Cole Grinsteinner — Google review
Clean up classic, mostly muscle cars - many for sale. It makes for an enjoyable afternoon if you are a car fan. It has a gasoline scent in the indoor showroom, reminiscent of an era gone by before pollution controls were ushered in, which some people may find offensive. Otherwise, a nice change from the ordinary.
Ronald Marchesano — Google review
We were pleasantly surprised. We are not NASCAR fans at all and weren't sure if we would enjoy it much but it was really cool. It was free so we figured... why not. They were doing a fan fest event and had lots of fun stuff going on. There was a pit crew demo that was really interesting. They did a few practice pit stops and between each one the coach stepped out and explained what they did well and what they needed and improve and answered a few questions from the crowd. They had a museum with a bunch of historic cars as well. Overall a great experience.
Matthew Schermer — Google review
It’s a free museum worth the visit if you love NASCAR! Lots of cars, trophies, memorabilia and a nice merchandise area. The team issued shirts from seasons past was really cool. Also the ability to purchase car panels from races.
Brittany Olson — Google review
This was, by far, the largest NASCAR shop on our shop tour. The people weren't the nicest, and we didn't see anywhere to watch the cars being worked. The museum/shop was nice, though. They had the most impressive amount of general knickknacks.

This is a great museum and gift shop! You can see "Cole Trickle"'s city chevrolet race car used at the movie "Days of Thunder"!! And you can see many historical cars and many memorabilia of Hendrick team!!! You have to stay here at least 1 hour! And the gift shop sells amazing many kinds of goods of Hendrick's car! You can even buy used parts of the real racing car!!!

Very cool place. I was always a Gordon fan. So I was in awe. I asked the gentlemen behind the counter if Tom Cruise really drove a race car. Absolutely beautiful property and great buildings. A very warm greeting walking in the front door! Then, wow, great history all around. Was very good to see, and you can't beat the price! Gearshop is in the center of the building, and they have a great selection of stuff. My son had a hard time choosing from all the shirts and hats. Bathrooms are over the top clean, like brand new clean. Thank you for a great visit. My son and I will forever remember our visit.

Italian restaurant
Gianni's Trattoria is an Italian restaurant located in Concord, offering a rustic and elegant dining experience. Before heading to the Gibson Mill Antique Mall, visitors decided to try this place and were pleasantly surprised. The owners, Gianni and Heather, go above and beyond to create an authentic Italian food experience. One standout dish is the Rigatoni alla Rena - a creamy sauce with four types of cheese, mushrooms, and prosciutto that transports diners to Italy's seaside.
We were on our way to the Gibson Mill Antique Mall & we decided to get a bite to eat before antiquing so we took a chance and drove into Concord. Gianni and Heather go over and above to create the perfect Italian food experience. The Rigatoni alla Rena is a 4 cheese Cream sauce with mushrooms and prosciutto & it makes you feel like you are in Italy sitting by the sea. One of the most delicious pastas I have ever tasted & I have traveled the world eating. We also tried the Margarita pizza. It tasted so homemade. Add some pepper flakes to give it a little more spice. I was so impressed with everything and I am going to recommend it to my friends on Facebook. Thank you to the staff for making our visit so memorable.

We've lived in Concord for 17 years (from NY). What a step up at the new location! The hostess seemed a little overwhelmed but was kind. (5pm reservation) Happy to see them serving local beer (Southern Strain) Our waiter Marco (I think) was amazing! Very attentive, made great suggestions. The calamari was wonderful. Both our main courses were very good. The ONLY thing that would've made the one dish better would've been seared tomatoes. The scallops were divine. We'll definitely be back! We also appreciated the perfect (and I'm picky) anniversary canolli!

Amazing place 11/10, our waitress kailee (don’t know if I spelled that right) was wonderful. Even though they closed at 9, they told us that we were in no rush. The Caesar salad was amazing. Every dish we got was simply perfection. The cheesecake was out of this world, and even though I don’t really like cream brûlée, it was still enjoyable. Kailee was amazing and gave very good suggestions for food, I ended getting everything she suggested and was definitely not disappointed. From the service, to the food. This place deserves the 5 stars.

If you're looking for some magnificent Italian cuisine, this is your place. Dishes you haven't had in years. The fun thing is hidden away upstairs is an amazing pizzeria. My favorite is the Chicken Cordon Bleu pizza, awesomeness. Right next door is an old-fashioned arcade. Full of all those games you played as a kid.

Pizza tasted excellent, fair price for quality. Shrimp Alfredo was also excellent, very tasty....BUT...for $27 it would have been nice to get an appropriate portion. It was more of a child's size portion than an adults. There were only 4 shrimp on it (they were big ones) and the pasta didn't even cover the bottom of the container. We did get 2 very, very small (although tasty) garlic knots. This seems to be a common trend in the restaurant industry...higher prices, less portion.

Salad was delicious and the server had a beautiful face. The pizza was over cooked and the service wasn’t the best. The restaurant had a cute little vibe to it though

We sat at the friendship bar, it was a very good atmosphere throughout the entire dining experience. The wild mushroom appetizer was beyond delicious. We each had a different plate, we had manicotti, lasagna, and my grandson had the steak abitz. Every thing was presented very nicely. The meal itself was awesome, I would recommend this establishment to anyone who likes Italian food.

Had an amazing night here. From start to finish. The food, drinks, and staff were amazing. Our waitress was so great. The flavor of each corse and drink was top notch. All while being able to take our time and enjoy the experience. Could not have asked for a better donning experience.

The drinks are very well balanced, the food is amazing, and the ambiance/ service is by far one of the best. You will not regret coming to this cozy place! 10 stars if I could!

We ate at Gianni's last night and I had the best meal I've eaten so far this year (and I've eaten at some great places, including the Capital Grille!). The Chicken Francais at Gianni's is out-of-this-world delicious. And we were glad to be able to visit their cozy, historic downtown location before the move to Gibson Mills later this month. It's a shame that the city of Concord is laying our once thriving downtown businesses to waste with their tortuously slow road project, but we look forward to trying out Gianni's new location soon.

Wonderful food, amazing flavor, wait staff was great and the atmosphere was inviting. Absolutely will come again! (Sorry the photo has a bite out of it, I couldn’t wait lol) We had Baked Manicotti (added amazing meatballs) and Red Snapper.

The first time we stopped by was to get some to go, and they were super busy. I loved the food but we wanted a in person dinner, before leaving a review. The whole experience was wonderful, the inside is like stepping back in time, the floors are in great condition and the space is so welcoming. Now lets talk about the food. I got the meatballs, and i can say there are no regrets. I posted a zoomed in photo so you can really get the view. The knots were fresh, and the cannoli was the perfect way to end a real Italian meal. Can't wait to go back.

My food was great, the calamari was top 5 I’ve ever had. However - my friend ordered a dish with chicken and has salmonella so be very very careful with what you order. Also - be aware that it is a small little restaurant. They sat someone not even a foot away from our table. Very awkward - but I’m also weird about those type of things so it may not bother others. The server was really nice too, so I have very mixed emotions about this place. We aren’t from the area so it doesn’t matter but just be careful with the chicken!!
Gracie S — Google review
Gianni’s never disappoints! Easily the best Italian in the area. I pretty much only get the seafood Tagliatelle now, which is one of the richest and most delectable pasta dishes I’ve had. The one draw back to the restaurant is the size, it can be pretty tight in there sometimes when it’s a full house, which it often is.

Barbecue restaurant
The Smoke Pit is a country-style eatery that has quickly become one of the best restaurants in Concord since its opening in 2014. Known for its mouthwatering BBQ ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and wings, this place is a paradise for meat lovers. The menu also features Southern sides that perfectly complement the flavorful meats. Despite being relatively new, The Smoke Pit has already received numerous accolades and awards for its delicious food and generous portions.
The food was really delicious. Generously portioned. The brisket and smoked turkey were so flavorful and tender. I'm ALWAYS skeptical about restaurant mac n cheese, but it was very good. Service was fast and staff attentive even on a very busy night. Can't wait to return! We enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank the entire staff over at The Smoke Pit for the absolutely awesome warm welcome and hospitality! We were travelling from Montreal, Canada to Charlotte and had a few places we wanted to visit including The Smoke Pit. We arrived about an hour before closing on Saturday (our mistake, as we thought it was open on Sunday and when we found out it wasn’t, we rushed over as fast as possible!) and was hoping to sample a bunch of their food. We got a chance to speak to and meet some great people and the most friendly staff!! We were dying to try the brisket and by the time we arrived, it was unfortunately already sold out, but the staff made up for it by letting us try a few other things that were excellent! We got a sampling of almost all their meats and sides and wasn’t disappointed in any of them; they were all excellent! My daughter went nuts for the mac and cheese haha!! To our surprise, as we were eating, the kind lady who helped us with our order brought over a few pieces of brisket that were “hidden away”, must have been a few pieces left when they called sold out! That was the cherry on the cake and it just melted in your mouth! So grateful for this! Again, my family loved every bite of each item we tried and a huge thank you from our family to yours for treating us like rock stars!! Will absolutely come back if we’re ever in the area again!!

My wife and I had lunch here today for the first time we had the beef brisket platter. The beef was delicious. The beans were excellent and the macaroni and cheese was outstanding. My wife also likes the cornbread will be back here for sure.

I 100% loved this place! I wish I could be critical of one thing but I just can't. The amount of food they give you is way more than expected. The food itself was amazing! The staff is great and the restaurant is clean. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a barbecue restaurant in the area or even outside of the area. If you have to make a drive for good food, this is definitely worth the trip.

Don't walk or run for great BBQ! So many choices! This evening my husband had a brisket sandwich and a side of potato salad! So much brisket it will be great for leftovers for tomorrow! I ordered the 4 ribs and 2 sides with cornbread! So much food and all so good! I normally ordered the banana pudding, switched it up tonight and ordered the apple crisp with ice cream! Shut the front door it was so good!

The Smoke Pit in Concord is an absolute gem when it comes to barbecue joints. As a frequent visitor to this location, I can confidently say that it never disappoints. The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, coupled with a friendly and attentive staff. My personal favorites is the turkey, wings, pulled chicken, and the incredible brisket. Each meat is expertly smoked to perfection, resulting in a tender and flavorful experience that leaves you craving for more. And let's not forget the delectable Mac and cheese and cornbread that accompany these heavenly meats—simply divine. Not only is the food consistently fantastic, but the service is also top-notch. The staff at The Smoke Pit goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience, making you feel like a valued guest. If you're a barbecue enthusiast or simply appreciate good food, The Smoke Pit in Concord, NC is an absolute must-visit in the Charlotte area.

This place is amazing. Got the burnt ends and the brisket and it was perfect. The brisket was cooked perfectly. Just melted in my mouth. The burnt ends,, not sure what sauce they were in. But my God it was good. Definitely will be going back here soon.

When we got there the line was almost out the door. It didn’t take too long until we put our order in. We were fortunate to get a table inside. We got the half ribs (meaty) with collards, mac and cheese and baked beans. They had sauces at the table. There was like a sweet bbq, vinegary, spicy and a honey mustard if I’m not mistaken. It was ALL delicious. Cornbread was standard. To drink I tried the watermelon black tea and it was good. My other family members had strawberry lemonade. We saw many door dash orders and others picking up to go. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. You have to try this place! Oh and the brisket and burnt ends were out when we were there after 6pm on a Saturday so if you’re looking forward to that come early. We were coming for the ribs. But maybe this would be helpful for some of you especially if you don’t live close.

Clean, friendly place with great piped in music from the 70s and 80s. Really really good BBQ; competing for the best I’ve had. Regular portions are plenty and served on big trays. Constant line of people dining in and taking out.

I always love coming to this location in Concord. I've been to a few of the other locations and they are good as well, but nothing compares to this one. There's something about it that just makes it so much better. I've never had subpar food or service. I will be a lifelong customer as long as the food and service stay. The brisket is amazing. The mac and cheese and baked beans are to die for. This is a spot you should definitely check out.

If you are on HWY 85 heading anywhere please stop in at the Smoke Pit and you will not be disappointed. The Manager greeted me with a smile and the staff and food was simply “Amazing “. Moses was extremely polite, positive, and attentive. Great food and great experience. The only bad thing is you will need to stop at the next rest stop to sleep 😴

Absolutely delicious. Service was super friendly and quick to bring our food to the table after we ordered it. The burn ends we're like candy in your mouth they just melted away. The stock market sandwich we got had pull pork, sausage and chopped brisket. Huge and delicious.

Top to bottom best barbecue I’ve ever had. Pictured here we have that pulled chicken platter with sweet potato casserole, Mac & cheese, and cornbread. And you have the pulled pork sandwich w/ collard greens. Seeing as it was a Saturday the line was nearly out the door to order, but the line was pretty quick and we managed to grab a table to dine-in at. Highly recommend going out of your way to eat here if you are in the Charlotte area.

Phenomenal Ribs! I must come back to have them again. We also had the smoked pulled chicken, dry jumbo wings, white slaw, okra, french fries, mac and cheese, sweet potato casserole, cornbread and peach cobbler. Everything we tasted we loved.

The smoke pit in Concord is top-rated BBQ gem in North Carolina. This place is always packed and we were finally able to stop in and experience this goodness. There is so much on the menu and everyone says EVERYTHING is good. We messed around and found out it's true. We had the brisket (perfect amount of fat), burnt ends(melt in your mouth with delicious sweet sauce), deviled egg potato salad, corn bread, shredded chicken sandwich, Mac n cheese, and mashed sweet potatoes. All the sides were bomb. We gotta go back for ribs next!
Keith Dandridge — Google review
Had the BBQ delivered to Great Wolf Lodge, and ordered the Beef Brisket, pulled pork, Leg n thighs chicken quarters with Mac n cheese, sweet potatoes casserole. Also got Alabama BBQ, Blueberry BBQ. Hands down some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Will definitely be back for more next time we're in the Charlotte area.
Steve Weaver — Google review
I absolutely love The Smoke Pit BBQ. Best place even put up against places in Charlotte. The portions are beyond generous. And $1.25 to add on a huge piece of corn bread! What a bargain. I can make 2 whole sandwiches for 2 meals out of the pulled pork sandwich. I do not get any other bbq other than The Smoke Pit. The staff is very friendly. Get there quick before dinner though because the place fills up quickly if you dine-in. The brisket is my ultimate favorite, I buy it by the pound and add one side. The stock market sandwich and the pulled pork sandwich are my next go to. Then the blue chicken salad if you want a great salad. A few small hiccups, they forget to give my me side and the apple crisp dessert was not good. Apples were all mush and no whole apples and the crisp and apples were waaaaayyy too sweet. Took 2 bites and could not eat anymore. Outside of that a great place.

44 Mills Kitchen & Tap, situated in Afton Ridge Shopping Mall, offers a diverse selection of dishes created with fresh and local ingredients from their ever-changing menu. Alongside their 16 rotating craft beer taps, they also serve wine and craft cocktails. Their Black Bean Burger & Truffle Fries is exceptionally delicious and highly recommended. This establishment provides a pleasant environment for unwinding with friends or family, offering the perfect setting for brunch as well. It's equally suitable for children too.
This was our second visit. We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer and the Chicken Milanese special for dinner with Bread Pudding and the Chocolate brownie for dessert. The service was excellent and the food was presented well and tasted Wonderful! Great place for date night❤️

My Summer Sangria was delicious, as was the shrimp and grits. I feel like the prices were a bit high though ($14 for the drink alone). Bill came in at $44 before tip, no dessert. Nice atmosphere. Saw mostly adults, one family with an infant and one with 2 kids under 5. Servers attentive without being annoying. Might give it another go.

44 Mills is another 10/10 gem in Concord, NC. I have visited this location on several occasions; food and atmosphere are amazing. I have visited 44 Mills at least 5 or 6 times. The most recent was with some great friends last nite. I decided to come back for lunch the next day. It’s just that tasty! Appetizers that I have and devoured are the Mac and Cheese, Cauliflower and Brussels, Bang Bang Shrimo and the Fried Pickles. Salads: The Wedge (added crispy chicken) Features/Entrees: Shrimp and Grits, Seared Chicken Breast and the Crispy Chicken Sandwich. Check out the menu. Let me know what you think! Bonus- found out brunch is served on the weekend until 3pm.

Very good service! Our waitress said that typically she is the bar tender, recommended our drinks and I was really excited about what I got because they were amazing. The Eggnog drink was phenomenal. The food we got was amazing as well! Our server was fun and very good at her job! Definitely come check out this restaurant.

POTENTIAL-UNFULFILLED We might give this place another try. The positives? 1) Very nice staff, with genuine warmth and desire to serve. 2) The flavor profile of the food items and the presentations. 3) Comfortable seating. The Opportunities: 1) Cleanliness could use some work, table top and floor were dirty. 2) Service, while very upbeat and knowledgeable was slow. 3) Food portions (for the prices) were surprisingly on the small side. 4) Food was served cool (gravy and biscuits) and light on ingredients (spinach and feta omelette). Post pandemic times have created a much higher price point when dining out, but when ingredients are listed (avo 2 small slices, cilantro 1 small sprig) they should constitute an appropriate amount for the dish. There are many restaurant choices in this area. We’ll shop around next time.

Madison is awesome. She provided service with a smile as usual. Food was hot, fresh, and cooked to perfection. I had the seared chicken breast and it did not disappoint. There was just a little wait, but we enjoyed the fried pickles as an appetizer while we waited for our entree. I’m never bothered to wait for freshly prepared, quality food and good service. It makes the meal that much more enjoyable.

Nice menu very pricy for what they serve. Interesting there were not more people there. $15 for a glass of wine in a Strip Mall. Ceasars Salad for $20 with small cubes of chicken. Their famous Deviled Eggs were not as good as Grandma's. Upscale ambience and decor, good flavors $168.00 for 3 people before tip. Friends recommended so we tried it.

We had errands to run in the shopping center nearby and dinner was approaching for us. We could turn back and dine in our Town of Davidson or try something new. So glad we decided on the latter! I told my husband I have driven by 44 Mills Kitchen & Tap many times & was curious. So we of course “googled” it. After peeking at the online menu, we decided to go for it! A very sweet young hostess seated us and I introduced myself as a Google Guide. Something about the decor had me asking questions. The manager Paige came up to say hello with Maddie our server. They explained that the 44 Mills” is based on the 44 textile mills that were operating in between Concord & Kanapolis. I love that history! I especially like that incredible piece with the drawers that looks like it came from one of the mills where the hostess stands! The people who designed this place have taste! Now, let’s talk about the food! We tried the butternut squash ravioli, the Mac & Cheese, the seared Ahi Tuna, the crispy pork loin sandwich, and we upgraded to the truffle fries. (You must upgrade! Get the truffle fries people) I promise they don’t disappoint! My husband added the wedge salad to get some greens into the mix and balance things out. The Mac & Cheese is one of the best we have ever had! Addictive! When I tasted the ravioli, I felt as if every morsel on the plate was jam packed with flavor. My husband agrees! We heard the very cool story about Luke Bryan (the country singer) coming in and trying the crispy pork loin sandwich and saying, “ I’ve been a lot of places, tried a lot of different foods and this is in the top 5! We agree. It’s quite good! BTW, we were going back & forth on the pork loin vs. the chicken sandwich (that’s now on our to-try list!). Here’s what we also noticed. Instead of the typical ranch on top of the wedge salad, it felt like the dressing was house made with this unique blend of flavors. It felt like it had a bit of a citrusy undertone. We loved it! 44 Mills is an elevated dining experience! Paige is one of the most superb managers! She made our visit incredibly special & because of her hospitality- we will definitely take the drive & come back to try more off the menu! A helpful tip! The restaurant got pretty packed soon after we were seated. Make sure you RESERVE your seats! Thanks to all for making our first visit so memorable! XO Josephine

Went here on labor day around 3:30pm and the restaurant was pretty empty. It took them like 30min to serve us a Sandwich and a Burger. They messed up my order and gave me truffle fries instead of regular fries. Then brought me regular fries also. They did not charge me for the truffle fries I didn’t order, which is what I expected. I already waited like 30 min for a sandwich, I didn’t want to wait for them to give me my order right. No additional sauces or ketchup was offered to us. There was a couple that got there way after us and they got their food at the same time we did. I was about the leave the restaurant for how long I waited. The server was emotionless, not one smile came out of her face, which is weird for a restaurant. The food was ok, nothing special. They also have a pretty small menu, so look it up before going to see if you like their options.

Hands down favorite restaurant in the concord/Kannapolis area for a sit down meal that is unique. Reminds me of a Charleston, SC restaurant vibe!!!! 😍 The atmosphere is awesome, the food has amazing parings that really bring out the flavors. Best of all our waiter Dimitri was super attentive and friendly. We got the steak pasta and the pork loin sandwich, both AMAZING QUALITY. Don’t get me started on the truffle fries🤤 For any of my Kannapolis people, if you are thinkings about going to Chop house, skip that and come here. 😮‍💨 For the owners, please put something good like this downtown Kannapolis 🥲

We were looking for a casual date spot to check out one evening and decided on 44 Mills. When we arrived, there was a short wait. We put ourselves on the wait-list and made a quick trip to the Dollar Tree while we waited. As we were leaving, we received the text that our table was ready. After we were seated, someone immediately came to take our drink/ appetizer orders. The Pimento Cheese Rangoons were very good. My drink was also tasty. The entrees were slightly disappointed. Whole the flavor was incredible, my husbands pork chops were overcooked and tough. My burger was excellent but my fries were lukewarm. We had to flag down our server to let her know because she did not return to check on us. The manager (owner?)came over and agreed that the pork chop was overcooked and had another one prepared immediately. I didn't make a big deal about the fries because I was planning to take them home anyway. We did order the bread pudding which was ok. Overall a decent experience with just a few missteps. I would definitely give them another try in the future.

This is a cute little spot located in Concord. For a Sunday morning there was no wait which was surprisingly pleasant and we got seated right away. The food came out promptly it was actually pretty impressive how fast it came out. I'm not a big mixed drink or liquor person but the drink options were very creative. Presentation of the food was really good . The taste left a bit to be desired but overall it was okay.

Met my sister yesterday evening for dinner and we enjoyed ourselves immensely! We sat at the bar and were served by Kaylee. Being that it was our first time there, we asked for suggestions and EVERY suggestion Kaylee made was amazing. Appetizers (unsure of the correct title): Pimento Cheese Wontons w/Pepper Jelly, Deviled Eggs, Bang Shrimp; Meals: Perfect porkchop w/collards and sweet potato mash & Salmon w/risotto; Dessert: Butter cake W/Ice Cream ALL WERE YUMMY! We will definitely be back! Apps not pictured

Went here on an impromptu date night. Got the truffle fries, quinoa salad and shrimp and grits. The food was really delicious. My only recommendation is to change the type of fries used but the sauce on them was great. My only complaint is the entrees are slightly pricy but overall great experience.

We arrived without reservations. Waiting list 45 minutes. As we waited, other people walked in and were seated because they were ok with sitting outside. Host never asked us if we perfered in side inside or out. Nor did he realize or was sensitive to us sitting there while others were seated. Frustrating Headliner here: Make reservations. Now seated, we wait to have the server arrive. Another 10 minutes. Finally, the server arrives, and we start the process. The service was fine. Kitchen super slow (bad night?) Waited 35 minutes for the food. Had the pork chop. It was decent. I would have liked to try other items on the menu, but most dishes on the menu use some measure of tomatoes. So if you like tomatoes, this is your place. Had the chicken sandwich. One of the only items on the menu that does not have tomatoes (well, it does, but I asked for no tomatoes.) Unfortunately, the best part of the chicken sandwich was the blue cheese dressing I asked for. It cost $13 for a chicken sandwich and salad. I'm not impressed. It was interesting that a manager was going to tables asking how everything was but literally walked by us and went to the next table. I guess she was only visiting with people she knew (??) I try to score a 5 star reviews everything time. But I can't here, and it is one of the few 1-star reviews I have given. This was an epic fail. I think we hit on a bad night. I tried to like the experience, but couldn't. Probably would not be back.

The Wine Room, situated in Afton Village, opened in 2003 and presents an impressive range of wines and craft beers. They also offer a diverse menu of bistro cuisine and have a well-stocked retail store. The establishment has a cozy ambience with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The bathrooms are clean, and there is even a cellar with bottles available for purchase. In addition to serving wine, beer, and cocktails, they provide tasty finger foods and meals.
Nice chill place with a great vibe. There was live music in the courtyard but could order wines and small plates to enjoy to the music. There were plenty seats on their patio or indoors, some people brought their own chairs to sit on. Service was very good as well, very friendly staff. I tried the cheesecake and it was delish, and had a glass of moscato. Definitely a great place to hang for girls night or a date.

I was excited to do a wine tasting and was so disappointed! Apparently the wine most people like is not what I call wine. I couldn't drink any of it. I drink wine from a vineyard that's near my house. It's very sweet Muscadine grape wine. I will say the Flatbread pizza was delicious! Staff was very helpful and friendly.

This place is one of our favorites, we've been coming here for years and have yet to any disappointments. The food is great, I've had everything on the menu at least twice and would get everything again. There is plenty of shaded seating so that you could enjoy your vino in comfort. It's often busy but never too busy to stop in which is a great quality. This is my special place and the staff makes me feel like family. Becca checked in on us whenever we lifted our heads, she was fantastic!! And although we come here throughout the year, my favorite times are spring and autumn. Oh and Don't forget half-priced bottles in Monday which is perfect after a Monday at the office!!!

Not a bad selection of wine, as long as you like Italian, South African or Californian. Where can you get German wines in America? No-one seems to stock them. Only went here to buy wine, so can't comment on food or service, but the place seemed pretty full and everyone was happy enough, so infer from that what you will.

Five stars! Def recommend for some low-key fun in Concord!

First time eating here was Sunday and it did Not disappoint. Great food, well prepared and cooked. Server was great with a pleasant attitude. Bathrooms were clean. There was a good wait of 45 minutes though. But the food was worth it.

Took my son here for lunch and we had a great time. I was a bit disappointed that alligator was not available, but we still found a lot of good options on the menu. We chose the stuffed fish on white rice and salmon with fries. It was all delicious! Our waitress Joy was great! She brought out food out quickly, and keep our cups filled. Definitely recommend, and we will be back!

My husband and I ate here for our 42nd Wedding Anniversary. Our server was “Joy” and his name says a lot about his personality. He was very pleasant and helped us make up our mind on what to order. The food we ate was really good and tasted amazing! We had a shareable drink and it was humongous!! lol. The bartender did a good job on mixing it to perfection. I will definitely be back

Did not realize that Razzoo’s was a chain in Texas. And this one is the only location in North Carolina on the perimeter of concord mall. The place was decently packed on a weekday. Food had a it of southern touch with many entrees served over rice.. interesting there was an item with alligator meat( my first experience ). Does not have any distinct meat taste or texture, maybe because it had some cajun spices on it. Overall a nice experience, and worth a visit

Our server was Justin, he offered the best service we have ever had anywhere, he came to the table and instantly made us feel like old friends visiting again! We were really impressed by his social skills 🤯🤩😎 The food was great for my husband, but for me as a vegan, I didn’t enjoy or much. The coslaw wasn’t tasty enough, the cabbage was chopped too thick and didn’t enjoy t. My options as a vegan were not healthy veggies, it was mostly deep fried options.

My friends and I came here for lunch on yesterday and it was such a hit that we had to come back today for happy hour! Yesterday our server, Kyle, was so helpful and friendly! He recommended dishes to us and they were all a hit. We had the gumbo, combo skillet and a chicken dish that i can’t pronounce or spell. The environment and decorations was cute and it was overall good vibes! The drinks could’ve been stronger but that didn’t take away from the experience. I will definitely visit here again next time I come to CLT.

Razzoo was one of my favorite places to visit for special occasion when they first opened due to the good seafood and cocktail drinks . We arrived at a 20-minute wait time to be seated, but I did not mind since we knew the food was good. Once we were seated, we ordered two cocktails and shrimp fondue. I was surprised to see that it came out so fast. Now, the bread was very good. The fondue had sprinkles of boiled shrimp with no seasoning at all. We then placed our order for the entrees. I went ordered my regular stuff shrimp with rice. Another server brought our food out and still no drink. She went to check on them, and they had no lick of alcohol. So, I was very disappointed. It's just not the place I remembered a long time ago. I gave them a 3 for the services.

One of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte. The Jalapeño catfish dish is my favorite. The gumbo and rat toes are amazing. Big portions of food, deliciously spicy with tons of flavor. Great service. Cool decor.

I always go to Razoo’s so I’m not sure why I haven’t given them a review yet! I’ve had an amazing time every time. The staff are always fun & friendly! This time I tried alligator bites & I didn’t know it was real alligator LOL I didn’t even spit it out because it was actually good lol, the stuffed shrimp was filling & enough for 2 ppl & the gumbo although not better than mine haha! was flavorful & delicious. I’m of course a fan of Razoo’s.

Great food! Grew up in the south & this is the first place I’ve been to in over a decade that actually served delicious gator! And the drinks were just as good

Absolutely LOVED it! The food was amazing but the best part was how good our server was. Mercedes was our server and she is honestly one of the best servers I have ever had. I eat out A LOT and have never had someone so kind, knowledgeable, and all around just a great people person! I will without a doubt be back here! There were so many great choices of food so I can’t wait to go back and try more!

My husband is originally from New Orleans, but I’ve never been. Therefore, I rely on his report for my review. There is a good variety of authentic New Orleans style food. Some for the adventurous such as alligator & crawfish (crawdads) & many very spiced options. I tend to opt for neither, and chose the andouille sausage red beans & rice. It was a bit spiced but manageable. My husband and his brother had the alligator appetizer & the Boudin Balls appetizer. They said that they were tasty & authentic. They both had the Cajun Combo Skillet & took enough home afterward for two more meals each. Servings are very generous. There is a good selection of specialty cocktails. Patio dining and full bar are available. Clean, well-appointed restrooms. Plenty of free parking. My only complaint is that the floors were sticky throughout the restaurant. Staff were friendly & helpful.

Preface: my family is from New Orleans. With that being said, this place was great! The atmosphere, music, decor, all felt right out of New Orleans. The service was great, staff made good recommendations, just a great experience! The boudin balls were excellent, and the crispy fried gator tail was great, highly recommend both! I had the Cajun combo skillet, and it was great. From that dish, I really enjoyed the crawfish étouffée - I specifically recommend that. The other items on my plate were good, but the crawfish étouffée was excellent. They truly exceeded my expectations, which were set kinda high, and they delivered! Good food like my family used to make, and that is a high high compliment!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Razzoos and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. First and foremost, I would like to commend our waitress, Rose! for her exceptional service. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Her friendly demeanor and genuine enthusiasm added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Now, onto the food – it was absolutely delicious. Each dish was expertly crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that tantalized the taste buds. From the appetizers to the desserts, every bite was a culinary delight. In addition to the food, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, providing the perfect setting for a memorable dining experience. The attention to detail in the decor and layout added to the overall charm of the establishment.
