What an asset for the Mississippi Gulf Coast! We took my 2 yr old grandson at the discounted price after 3pm not knowing if it would be worth it or have enough to entertain him. We will be purchasing a membership & frequenting! He was mesmerized at all the interests he enjoys just his size which enabled him to engage his imagination …the trains, boats, crane, slide & paint were all a hit! Every staff member was amazing. Highly recommend especially if you are looking for an activity away from the heat and electronics this summer!

If you have young kids, this is a must visit in Gulfport Ms. We just spent almost 5 hours doing all the different hands-on activities. Learning through play is so much fun.

Lynn Meadows is a great place to take your younger kids to spend the day. The inside area is setup in the cutest sections. Each individual section has costumes that can be worn to really make this an immersive experience. Once we looked in all the sections inside we went outside to play in the tree houses and run around. Finished off the afternoon by going back inside to cool down and do some watercolor art in the art room.

This place is fun, simple, expressive, and stimulating for children and adults. The hands-on to the learning and playing is so fantastic. It was enjoyable on so many levels, not only for my 5yo, and 10 yo, but myself as well. It truly is a place where children can be children and play like kids.

My family and I went to celebrate my three year olds birthday and she had so much fun exploring. The exhibits have her plenty to play with in a safe environment. He younger brother could even join in the fun at the 4 and under area. Great for burning your kids energy. We only stayed for two hours but got to see a lot of the center. Definitely recommend for families with young children. Older kids can have fun too. We'll be trying to come back to check out more of what they offer here.

A great hands on experience for kids of every age. The TV studio was my boys favourite area. $12 bucks a head for admission. Well worth the two hours of enjoyment.

So much fun! We came to Mississippi for my wife’s job for about a month, and we decided to go here with our daughter and we absolutely loved it! So much to do, we didn’t get to do the outside part but we definitely wanna come back to do the outside! Well worth the money, we spent at least an hour or two on just the inside. If you’re in town I definitely recommend this place!

BEST KEPT SECRET in Biloxi!! We LOVE this Museum/ play place!! It’s the MOST FUN we’ve had together in a long time!! She LET LOOSE!! It’s super clean, the Staff is amazing, and the Attention to detail blew our minds!! We’re going back soon!! She loves the Newscaster/ Weather Station with the GREEN Screen the BEST!! It’s a full studio! We spent three hours, but could have stayed all day! Kudos!!

Lots of fun. We spent all afternoon there. The kids never seem to tire of the activities offered. And the best the staff picks up the toys.

I loved it probably more then my kids did. Right when you walk through the door the front desk was amazing explaining what they have for the kids to do and told us just let them run around and be kids. They have a great selection for sensory as well as learning activities for the kids.

Took my grandson, who is 4 for the first time. He absolutely loved it. My daughter, who is 29, came with us. She has fond memories of when she went at the age of 5. They both had a great time. My grandson, making memories and my daughter reminiscing. ❤️ my son and I enjoyed watching those two have fun. Definitely. An amazing place to take ur little ones.

Fantastic Double Birthday Celebration! We booked the Dolphin interaction experience for all the kids which included a private sea lion show for all to enjoy. Many thanks to the incredible team for their accommodating efforts ( Sonya, Anna & Emily). Wonderful memories- worth every penny! 💗

We visited in July and my son with special needs was treated amazing by staff. He did the dolphin encounter with Ellie and she went above and beyond for him. Everyone did, down to the employee who walked us there! Thanks to Mr. Moby for getting Cade here and seeing and nurturing his love for marine life!

It was smaller than I expected but nice. The trainers and dolphins 🐬 were awesome. But $4 for a powerade 😳 I'll drink that pool water that splashed me. But a great experience for the kids. Very informative speakers. The speakers 🔊 in the ray pool house 🙉 you can't hear,plus the kids yelping.

This was the 2nd time were at the Marine Institute. My daughter's Stingray Swim was a great experience! Matt, the worker that was instructing my daughter was amazing. It happened that she was the only one doing this experience at our time slot, so it was very personal. Matt was very personable, friendly, and knowledgeable. Took the time to answer any questions we had. The experience feeding the rays and sharks was great! My daughter had a fantastic time and wants to eventually do the dolphin encounter (wanted to do that today, but the time we wanted was full). We also fed the parakeets. So fun. Had 4 land on us at a time. The only downside was we paid extra to be a "spectator" during our daughter's experience. It felt pointless when other guests came into ray pool area during her experience. I feel we would've have had to pay extra (other than we wouldn't have gotten to get first hand explanation of the rays and sharks). Overall, it was an amazing day. 😀

Don’t let the gift shop clerk discourage you, this place is AWESOME!! Ask questions and save at least an hour for the discovery center! Great value, great learning opportunity, wonderful and knowledgeable staff.

Very informative presentations. Place was clean for us and the animals. We happen to go 2/21. We were with 2 student groups, students were polite and paying attention. ...Hats off to their teachers for good leadership.

First I would like to say..they rescue and help sick and stranded marine critters. They don't abuse or torture. It's a place they use to teach young girls and boys about marine life.so they will grow up and respect it.. It cost money to help and care for these critters ...so just know you are helping to save dolphins and sea turtles..and all the other critters. A great bargain if you ask me.. The people are great and helpful.wonderful place...Thank you...

Amazing place and mission! The kids love it and we sent our daughter to the summer camp here one year.

My mother and I visited here from Kentucky. We did the sea lion kiss and dolphin encounter. The staff were very friendly. You could see their compassion with helping the mammals. We loved every bit of our visit!

A wonderful place to visit. It’s not crowded, has a beautiful layout. Granted it’s not as big as an aquarium, but they are very knowledgeable about the animals and have wonderful experiences for people to experience. The ray pool was my favorite, plus it’s a nice way to catch a break from summer temps. You won’t break the bank with a visit. It was fun to watch the little ones see dolphins and sea lions up close. The parakeets are so much fun to watch.

Wow what an amazing little gem! Affordable for our family of 6 and we had experiences we will never forget! The dolphin show was incredible and we had so much fun feeding the birds and touching the sting rays!

Phenomenal Experience! Truly a hidden gem that I wouldn't pass up. The place is clean, with a fantastic schedule of events, affordable pricing & the staff are stupendous! In the museum you can dig for real sand shark teeth (even my older kiddos enjoyed this.) Every staff member is eager to teach & answer questions. When your here you can attend: snakes & gators talk, sting rays talk, dolphin show, sea lion show, and bird show; all last about 10 minutes but are open for questions for all curious minds (that means adults too.) They also have encounters which include the general admission in the cost. They have anything from dolphin kisses, dolphin encounters to hanging out with the string rays. As my daughter wants a career with animals I signed her up for Job Shadow. I can't speak for the other experiences offered but the Job Shadow experience was absolutely extraordinary! She was able to learn first hand from the trainers & experts themselves. They shared there love & knowledge of the job while making it fun & educational! If you have a kiddo that loves animals the way mine does I wouldn't hesitate and go make the day of their dreams come true, like mine. 🧡

Always love visiting a new brewery in our travels. Our experience at Chandeleur Brewery was great! Friendly and efficient servers provided the start of a nice late afternoon of beers. My husband and I ordered the Leo and Freemason. Both beers met out taste and, of course, we had another or three! Our fav was the Freemason. Fresh, light on the palette and and nice beer to drink while listening to the music! I love beer more than my husband but he goes along with my past time! Definitely visit Chandeleur Brewery! You won’t be disappointed by the beer at all!

We have been here several times and it is always nice. My husband likes to get flights, I get a seltzer. Inside is clean, friendly service. Games for the little ones & a cool fish tank. There are a few picnic tables if you prefer to sit outside.

Top notch beer. I found the Loretta to be not so good, but minus that, 2 flights of 6 later, noting disappointed. Ole Buddy and Lil Smack do not disappoint. If you like sours, they have plenty. I would rec the Ginger Raspberry only because I love ginger and there is plenty in it.

This is a Woman managed & woman brewed brewery. And that's awesome on it's own. They also make pretty good beer. TBH, if I was just rating the beer, it would be 4 stars. But I'm not. I get to rate facility, staff, swag and more! And Chandeleur excels in those. Facility is nice and spacious with plenty of seating, staff was great, especially the brewer Jessica who was kind enough to give us an impromptu tour. Also great swag options with lots of color :) I would definitely go back to this brewery.

We were super happy with the flights and variety of beer. They have a tasty looking food menu. We had the bread and butter board appetizer and it was great!

Wonderful brewery. Sort of hard to find. Parking is somewhat limited. Very friendly staff. Lots of beer and hard seltzer items to choose from. They have small bites food but we didn’t eat. We had a flight of 8 because we wanted to sample as many as we could. All of them were tasty.

Nice brewpub, with many in-house beers on tap to try. Most of the on tap choices were sour beers, and a few IPAs. The others were a wide variety of styles. My personal favorite was the "Tarponator", a rich malty doppelboch. Clean and neat with an interesting industrial decor. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Had a Freemason over at Murkey Water BBQ and noticed this brewery was nearby. They offer 4 or 6 beer flights. Different varieties, great atmosphere, and the beers are excellent.

Great brews here. Fun place to hang out and have a beer. We had the nachos and they are homemade chips covered with cheese and chorizo. They were unique and delicious. Bar keep was friendly and helpful. They have games to play and the decor is different. Cost $ not bad at all.

We have visited multiple times. Each time the food has been really good! The vibe is awesome! Dogs are allowed inside and out. They usually have live music and it’s always good. The beer selection is huge. People are super friendly. It’s a great place to chill with friends!

I stopped in here one evening with an acquaintance after dinner and had a pint. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a beer after your week is over. The people it attracts are chill and good times are sure to ensue.

Great outlet stores, great deals and most of the outlet stores! Be prepared to spend a lot of time walking and shopping, all kinds of stores to visit and most have great deals, you can find almost anything you need here!

The Gulfport Premium Outlets is not quite as large as some but is every bit as nice or nicer than any other we have visited. Almost all of the major brands are represented. The grounds are kept very clean and well manicured. All of the store staff and mall personnel are very welcoming. A fun place to shop.

Love shopping here! Lots of amazing stores & sales! Every time! Always clean in and around all stores. Clean restrooms. Very helpful and professional employees hired for these stores. Excellent customer service. We did back to school shopping yesterday and had an awesome experience as always. Our son got lots of new clothes and shoes at great prices! Good sales in Bath & Body Works, Under Armor, Nike, etc. Mama even got some new Ray Bans for Sunglasses Hut! This is a must visit place for shopping.

Visit here often. They have such a great variety of stores and I love that I can get my steps in outside 🙂

This place is a bit hit and miss, but for me, since I like the lee/wrangler outlet, it's always a good experience. They actually have good deals there! Call ahead to places if you're military; seems like most places offer a discount on Tuesdays but some choose their own day.

Love this shopping center. Outstanding outlet stores- Banana, J Crew, Ralph Lauren, Torrid, etc. Plenty of parking and very pleasant surroundings, with trees and green spaces. Check it out!

This is a nice mall, not real big. It is very easy to jump off and back on the interstate. All the stores are separated individually and you enter all of them outside. Most of the stores here are bigger name brands .

Recently, I have fallen in love with Coach handbags and accessories! So when I traveled to Biloxi and Gulfport recently, I decided to visit the outlet mall and the Coach store. The sales reps were very friendly and I found a cute crossbody to wear on the remainder of my trip. This store is much bigger than my store in Leeds, which meant more choices. Overall, I had a great experience here and plan to shop here again on my next trip to this area.

Very clean outlet mall with plenty of parking. Customer service at Michael Kors was excellent. My wife found exactly what she was looking for, and the sales lady went out of her way to make her feel comfortable shopping there. There was not many people at the mall so parking was great.

It wasn’t to busy when we got there everything was clean so were the restrooms. I always go here to get my jeans for work. And my grandson was in love with the pineapple gift shop . He’s 11 and was quizzing the guys about video games. We all had a nice time

This museum was a wonderful place for our kids! If your child has even a slightest interest in trains, this place deserves a visit or two! There are many locomotives🚂 train moving through low and high, and the scenes are well decorated and designed. But there are more! Just behind the building is where various rides and more locomotives can be found. Dinosaur themed and spaceship themed locomotives were pretty cool, I thought. And the train rides were able to give our family a lift no problem and I was VERY pleasantly surprised because of the sheer weight the train could carry and move around the tract. Probably the limiting factor would be one’s widths, not weight, if you know what I mean haha😂

Quite enjoyable. Took grandkids 5,5,3,1 and they really enjoyed it. Adults want to spend more time finding the fun Easter eggs (alien standing in line for the movie) all through the displays... But young ones take a look and push on. Train rides, hand crank engines and play area was well done. They just opened at this new location but they're doing a great job, I look forward to returning to see in the future.

This place is just as cool as everyone says!! I have kids 4 and under, and I was nervous that they wouldn’t really care much for the models and that we would be done walking through in 15 minutes. We ended up staying for over 3 HOURS, and my kids were still begging to stay longer! In addition to all the fun models, there are tons of things for kids. They have an indoor playground, play train cars, a train for individual kids on a moveable track, tons of train sets to tinker with, a green-screen setup that puts you into a model train setup, and even a battery-powered model train with a track you can design yourself! There’s another “real” train outside for the whole family and some fun train bicycles on a track as well. My kids aren’t huge into trains, but they LOVED it, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone with small kids. The facilities were clean and all of the workers were very friendly and knowledgeable too!! We had a great time.

What a great museum! Staff was very friendly and had lots of information to share. Plan on spending at a couple hours here. Lots of fun interactive things for children to do. Great price of $5 for admission.

As model railroad fans we were eager to visit, as this place has appeared in local news cycles as far away as the Florida panhandle, where we live. I will say that TrainTastic is much larger than any of us anticipated. There was a fair bit of variety in the displays, from vintage O gauge Lionel, to modern N scale, to Lego trains, to obscure S scale American Flyer, to HO scale comprising the bulk of displays. One thing I am not quite sure is how they are claiming to be the "world's largest", as Miniatur Wunderland (Germany) and EnterTrainment Junction (Ohio, USA) are both larger model train exhibits. I am merely speculating, but it looks like most of the displays here are actually just the local Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Club members' personal displays moved into this new TrainTastic space. There is a large scale children's railroad outdoor for children to ride, a children's play area, STEM area, birthday rooms, and various empty areas for expansion. The two big takeaways for me are: 1) There is a lot incomplete; particularly the large main area display where the main exhibit modeling Gulfport is incomplete, and, 2) There is actually a lack of working/moving train models on the model layouts. While there were a few moving models, it was usually just one locomotive and a car or two. There were no models of actual long trains with at least a half dozen cars. I think the longest train models on display were actually the older Lionel O-gauge (unsurprisingly the most reliable). I would definitely have liked to see some more model trains of full length. Almost half of the model displays were just stagnant on our visit with no moving trains. For the price, I definitely think the visit is worth it. We spent over an hour here, even without any children to ride the large scale train or play in the play areas. The gift shop was pretty big, although I would have liked to see actual model trains for sale other than ready-to-run kits they sell (individual cars or locomotives for sale would have been cool, and also would be compatible with the ready-to-run kits already for sale). We purchased our tickets in advance, although the ticketing machine had trouble reading them, so the ticket attendant had to manually lookup our order. Maybe in due time I could see ourselves coming back if we find ourselves in the area (or if Mississippi Coast Model Railroad Club ever decides to hold a model train show again - particularly utilizing all this new event space they have).

So cute! We took our 15 month old here on Mother’s Day and we loved it! It had cute little train rides for the kids and so many trains to look at! If you love model trains this is a place for you!

We are absolutely in love with Traintastic! We have been multiple times now and every experience is so much fun. There is so much to see that you find something new every time you go. My 4 year old boy loves to watch the model trains for hours. The entire facility is so interactive for train lovers of all ages. The kids area is definitely a favorite and the outdoor train ride is SO much fun! Above all- the staff is so kind and welcoming. They make the museum so magical. Thankful for such a clean and safe place to play and learn!

This was pretty interesting. It's not what you're expecting but definitely worth your time. So many cool set ups. Our family from age 4 to 40 enjoyed everything, including the train ride. This is definitely a must see.

A friend recommended this place for us to bring our kids to, and it did not disappoint. If you're in the Gulfport area with kids or anyone who loves trains or Lego, then this place is a must visit. There are interactive sections of the museum and play areas for the kids. There is even a train you can ride! All included in your entry. It's only $5/adult & $2/child 3-12.

We went with our grandson and family and were amazed ad the extent of the collection and the interactivity fir children. Great time had by all!

I personally love museums and this one was definitely worth it in my opinion. I’m a lover of builds, the detail that was put into a lot of the models was amazing. They even have a rideable train that you and your kids can ride! 10/10 fun for the family.

Spent upwards of 3 hours here and they have not unpacked everything. Lots of trains, LEGO and activities for younger kids. Definitely worth the price.

Fun time with my grandson to celebrate the first day of Christmas break. What an amazing place! We want to go back. There is no way to wrap your mind around so many trains and the incredible settings in one visit. The play area so nice!

If you or anyone in your orbit is a fan of trains, model trains, miniatures, fantasy lands, or anything else fun, you're going to love this spot! It's especially great for kids, but the guys who put this place together are dedicated volunteers who spend YEARS building these amazing displays, and it's a great spot for anyone of any age to appreciate excellent craftsmanship.

It looks like a great local place for visitors, it was a unique place for sure if you have younger children or love trains!!!

Me and my wife had soo much fun here. The set ups and different exhibits were amazing! They took their time creating each and everyone, and it shows. I can't wait to go back.

If this don't bring out the inner child in you then I don't know what will, this place was absolutely wonderful the family had a blast. Its sad that they dont get recognized enough on yelp or google maps for places to bring your children...

Fun way to spend a couple of hours. The train displays are very well designed and there are many models of local places & events. The employees are friendly & helpful.
