The Blond Giraffe is a well-known and popular Key Lime Pie factory in the Florida Keys. They offer a variety of different key lime pies, including chocolate-dipped and frozen varieties as well as pie on a stick. They have been awarded repeatedly for their delicious pies, including being voted "Best in Key West" by the Key Lime Festival.
Hands down the best key lime pie. While touring the keys, one of our goals was to find the BEST key lime pie in the keys. We lucked out on our last stop. The Blond Giraffe has wonderful key lime pies. You can purchase whole pies or slices of pie. We bought a piece of the key lime pie with whipped cream and a piece of key lime pie with chocolate (okay, I went back for a second piece but that's neither here nor there). The key lime pie has the perfect balance of tart and sweet. It was smooth going down and the texture was perfect! My wife really enjoyed the chocolate on the key lime pie. To make the pie even better, they have a wonderful outdoor area behind the shop where you can sit and enjoy the pie. It's very peaceful with lots of great decorations and room for kids to run around. I thought the locks of love chains were very cool as well. If you're searching for the best key lime pie in the Keys make this your only stop......you'll thank me for the time saved!

We decided to stop here on our way home from Key West trip to get some of Florida Keys famous key lime pies. Saw good reviews for this place and thought we'd come and try as well since there was an outdoor lovely garden eating area too. There are a variety of key lime items you can get here. I tried a slice of their chocolate drizzle with whip cream on top and found the key lime pie here was creamier like pudding and a bit on the sweeter side. If you like it sweet and creamy you'll like this key lime pie. However, I tried a regular slice back down in the Southern most Key West Island and it was absolutely light and delicious at Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe. I recommend trying both places. Enjoy!

A friend told me about this place, said the key lime pie was to die for. That wasn’t a lie, the key lime pie on a stick was delicious. But the atmosphere? Unmatched. The garden out back is so serene. We had no idea there was a garden out back, we had no idea there were like 10 million heart lockets out there! It was a bit overwhelming to see at first, but it was so calming to be surrounded by so much love.
Richard Foshee — Google review
I enjoyed a slice of Key Lime pie in their garden. It was a nice place and the pie was good. The pie was tart, a nice texture and taste. The meringue was a little disappointing, though. It needed a little more crust on top of the meringue for me. Overall, it was a nice experience.

Best Key Lime pie I've ever had! Absolutely delicious. We will be getting a pie to take home with us and maybe a bag of their key lime pie cookies (have yet to try those yet). Definitely see their garden outside as it's absolutely beautiful! A definite must stop while visiting the keys!
Rachel Robinson — Google review
Here’s the thing, I don’t like pie but this key lime pie is maybe one of the best things I’ve ever eaten… that’s a bold statement for me. The chocolate dipped on a stick was incredible as well as the key lime with meringue. The outdoor garden in back is lovely to sit and eat. They have tons of other snacks and treats, key lime flavored. An absolute must try!! Update: came back for a second time and it’s truly the best key lime pie in all of the keys. I tried a lot of pie while in the keys and this is the best place by far.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting this place and I must say, it was a delightful experience. One particular item that stood out to me was their key lime pie on a stick. This unique dessert was not only visually appealing but also delicious. What made the experience even more enjoyable was the beautiful garden located at the back of the shop. It provided a lovely view. The staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, with a cozy and relaxed atmosphere that enhanced the overall experience.

Such a fantastic place to stop by on your trip to the keys. All types of key lime flavored products, like from cookies to hot sauce, you name it. Also, they offer you the whole pie frozen so nothing melts on the way, genius!! The rum cake is just a piece of heaven, that was our favorite and definitely the main reason to come back. Thank you, the patio is adorable! 🍋💚

On our way down to the keys we saw the "Blond Giraffe Key Lime Pie Factory". Lots of goodies inside. You can have a slice or a whole pie. The meringue key lime was yummy 😋. We ate it in the back garden which is a must see!! Lots of seating with beautiful trees and humming birds to enjoy. There were heart locks everywhere! A wonderful photo opportunity. Bonus, bathrooms before you hit the road again...

When you’re in Key West you must try key lime pie 🍋. This is the best cafe for key lime pie, there’s a beautiful garden in the backyard don’t forget to check that. Beautiful view, just loved it.
Aarti — Google review
This was place was really awesome and delicious. The love heart locks are genius and so special for families, friends, and couples. One thing that I would suggest is to remove your “well-behaved” children signs. Of course parents want their children to behave however they are children and have moments. This garden should definitely be kid friendly and for kids to enjoy. So maybe also some safety actions need to take place other than telling children to not be children. Every parent wants to take them for some fun memorable sweet treats. I saw in other post you do this because of past incidences. Something like “Please use caution while out in garden” and use a general warning/caution for all would be more appropriate. Just my thoughts! Thanks again for a great treats!

We started early morning our journey to keywest and we luckily found this factory on way and this was just amazing place. Glad we stopped to taste the best key lime pie . Freshly made. We tried 2 flavors chocolate and the plain. Both were good. Perfect blend of lime and sweetness. The ambiance is really good. I loved the restaurant area they made. Very beautifully decorated. Loved it.

Absolute MUST STOP!!! Do yourself a favor and stop by this cute and charming little slice of heaven! We enjoyed the chocolate covered key lime pie on a stick....it was wonderful! I had read the reviews before stopping and thought "it can't really be that good"....but I was wrong! Totally worth the calories. Enjoyed the homemade limeade and lime cookies as well. Most certainly packed a few items in my suitcase to take back home with me. Also, visit the outback area....so adorable and unique. **They do not accept cash for payment**

When I stopped for key lime pie I was not expecting to find this gem on the way to the restrooms. It was magical. Great for pictures. We also had key limeade which were tasty and not too sweet or tart. The froze ln key lime pie on a stick was good too. We brought a frozen pie home haven't tried that one yet. The highlight though was the love lock. It was the perfect way to commemorate this special day. ❤️ Can't wait to come back to this perfect little spot.

This is a happy place, everything on the menu is delicious, well presented and fresh. As you walk in you are surprised with so many choices is Key Lime items -cookies, merengue, candy…etc- that it’s hard to decide for just one! Then as you go to the back, you find this beautiful LOVE oasis!!! Very tastefully done and makes you want to stay and as you leave, you know you will be back! A must go place for a Key Lime Pie and more…

One of our favorite places we visited while staying in the area. We had tried a couple other key lime pies at other places but by far these were our favorites! Also the staff was a lot friendlier! Ashley and Ada (hope I’m spelling it right). Were so helpful, friendly and funny! Customer service is key and these ladies were great.
Etta Terrell — Google review
While browsing for things to do in Key Largo, I stumbled upon this gem. Visiting after lunch, my husband and I tried two of their signature key lime pies—one with meringue, the other with chocolate on top. Each slice cost around $12, a little pricey but worth it. We sat in the secret garden at the back, which truly enhanced the experience. The setting was so colorful that we couldn't resist taking some photos. The only downside was the price of the locks they offered for their lock wall—$18 each. As much as we wanted to buy ours, we decided not to do it, as it felt too expensive for something we couldn't keep.
Andrea Leiva — Google review
It was the first time I have tried the Key Lime Tart and I must say, it’s more delicious from what I’ve expected. I would recommend to share one slice as it’s quite sweet. The service was good and fast. However remember it’s not possible to pay cash. The yard is beautiful with nice trees and benches to sit on.
Halide Ebcinoglu — Google review
Love the easy accessibility right off the road to this pie factory, and they have great choices of Keylime pie. Not to mention the pie taste delicious! Absolutely love that you can walk straight through after purchasing your pie to go sit in the back underneath the trees. And the best part is, as the sun starts to sit the whole back area lights up, there are hearts everywhere and the environment is so beautiful.
Jennyrose Ball — Google review
This is the spot! They claim best Key Lime Pie! And they backed it up! Come in for a slice of dessert and sit in the garden! Enjoy the atmosphere. Just a bit pricy!
J-Kube — Google review
Best Key Lime Pie on the Keys. We tried so many this week and last year. This has the very best smooth and firm texture. Packaging is very nice for transport and comes with a lime fork. Definitely the most tart lime flavor we were hoping for. Crust is a simple Graham crust that is barely sweet so it doesn't add extra sweetness. The ones covered with chocolate balanced out the lovely tartness. Definitely go with chocolate or the whip cream. Loved the pie on a stick. Wish I went home with a whole pie. Last night we actually tossed the worst one from a popular restaurant that gets theirs from some other baker. Staff is friendly.. Next time I'll walk the Lock Garden. What a wonderful idea. Blessings to your company. Thank you so much.

If you love key lime pie (like I do) you definitely should check this awesome place out when in the area. The pies are tasty and fresh. Staff is attentive and friendly. Their backyard is also very nice, spacious, and offers a great opportunity for pictures with a cool lock heart area as well.

First time In 20+ years I’ve driven to the Keys. Was in the area for work and had to try something local. This place was recommend and definitely didn’t disappoint! The place was clean inside and out. Greeted with courteous service. Wait time was minimal. Had the local catch roll made with Mahi-mahi. Flavorful and was a party in my mouth. Portion size is about 6”. If your a big eater then you may want get something additional. I’m a lite eater so the portion was perfect. Overall very pleased with my visit and if you want quality and freshness I would highly recommend.

Stopped here after finding this gem of a place on Google maps. The gentleman behind the counter was super friendly and very informative of the menu. It did not disappoint as the mahi roll and shrimp roll were incredible. I had the calamari roll as well as the chips and salsa and everything was wonderful. We will definitely be coming back here!

Stopped in here for some fish. The proprietor was excellent and took the time to explain the whole menu to us. Their lobster is from Maine (cold water). We had the Crab Cake Roll, and it was incredibly tasty. Ate on the patio overlooking the boats, and had a wonderful time.

Wow, wow, wow! Run don't walk to this place for lunch! Fish and lobster roll comes with chips, we ordered fries as a side, with 2 drinks. $60 total. The grilled Mahi Mahi was the best I've ever had and the lobster roll was so freakin tasty. What a hidden gem

INCREDIBLE! The service was so fast and efficient. I placed an over the phone take out order and the associate who took my order and had the food ready when I arrived was so friendly, helpful, and professional. Our food was very fresh and so delicious. The avocado on the shrimp roll was such a nice addition and the crab was deliciously flavorful. I cannot wait to go back!
Hunter McHugh Smith — Google review
The lobster roll is insane!!! If you’re eating anywhere in Islamorada (or anywhere near for that matter) you’ve GOT to come here. The service is unmatched, they’re so kind and willing to help with anything, plus the cooking is not only insanely savory and flavorful but it’s flavors I can only find here! Definitely coming back whenever I have the chance. We also tried the ceviche, the fried fish, and the calamari. Every dish is 10/10. SO happy!

This was a fun little place tucked between shops on the docks overlooking the water. Outdoor casual seating only. The fish rolls are excellent, fresh catch of the day on a garlicky roll. You can get beers and cocktails in bottles or cans. Alexandro is eager to make everything perfect. Service is the best we've had on the trip. I highly recommend What the Fish.

Outstanding lunch stop! Delicious fresh seafood rolls (sandwiches) - we had a Casa Mar (local catch) and a calamari roll. Flavorful and tender! The rolls were grilled to perfection. The owner was welcoming and so helpful. The small venue with outside seating only overlooking the canal was very pleasant. Highly recommend!

Best Lobster Roll! Family Owned! Come early to watch the sunset! Boutique style restaurant! Owner has awesome customer service! A whole vibe!

The food was great! Very clean for those looking to watch your diet and high in protein. The owner cooked and served us the the food himself and he was extreme kind and informative. You have a view of the water too! If you want a bite to eat and are the road traveling, this place is great to stop in.

You can't go wrong with fresh catch! And their conch fritters, fries, and coleslaw are delicious too. We had a wonderful experience, the staff was very friendly and we had a beautiful view of the water and lots of entertainment from the local fish! Everytime we visit the keys (or even just within a couple hours away) this is a must stop for us.

Beautiful fish restaurant on the water with incredible fresh food. Came last year so wanted to try again. We had the catch of the day ceviche and roll to share, the lady that served us was very friendly, the atmosphere sat next to the water very relaxed. The best ceviche of our trip so far.

Charming little place on the water, great views on the deck out back. Super fresh food, very friendly staff, good menu. I only wish they had some pico or salsa to go with the tortilla chips. Bucket of Landshark beer was a great deal, $22 for a bucket of 5, food prices are decent, too.
Christo Simpson — Google review
Fantastic food, phenomenal service! The owner enthusiastically talked us through the menu, gave us lots of options, and even showed us what we could look forward to as he was running food from the kitchen to tables. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back!
Catherine Malizia — Google review
Simplicity at its best! Cool spot with outdoor seating (covered, so no worries if it's rainy), friendly staff, and fresh fish. Pretty view, too! We tried today's fresh catch, which was mahi - it was a grilled fish paired with tasty coleslaw and crunchy fries. Simple, but so, so, so good. There's no need to go crazy when you have amazing ingredients. We are not staying long in the area, but we might come back again. Gluten free situation: ask to be sure, but a plate or a taco should be fine.

What the Fish - best place to eat near key largo. A the hidden gem. The owner has the best costumer service I’ve ever seen. He explained the menu in detail and was passionate the entire time about the food. He recommended many things and we were super satisfied with the meal. Amazing food. We loved it so much we came back the next day. The fish tacos and shrimp tacos are awesome!!!!! The chicken tacos and chicken roll were great. The fish ceviche was one of the best. They do great conch as well. I miss this place already, I want to go back it’s that good. Mar Bar - Food was great, had the fish tacos and chicken tacos. Owner is the friendliest person and he explained the menu in detail.
Hector Pina — Google review
Excellent lobster and tacos, fresh and made to order. The ‘nachos and cheese’ were less than to be desired. It was basically plain generic Santitas chips and a couple morsels of sprinkled in cheese and a few tomatoes and a Dixie cup of salsa. Not worth the money. Stick to the wraps and tacos.
Marie Andews — Google review
Came here after a long day on the boat. Very hungry, and the food was highly recommended. Parking was easy to find as we were in between meal times. Menu was explained to us by a very knowledgeable person. We would recommend this place purely based on the service and upbeat pleasant persona of this person. We ordered crab cake roll and a shrimp room. Bithwr were good, but the buns/roll it was served in was fantastic. Simple fresh food. Beer and wines are available along with a variety of sodas. Food Came quick and we enjoyed a pleasant meal outside.

Restaurant
Habanos On The Creek is a family-friendly restaurant situated in the Tavernier Creek Marina, offering generous portions of Cuban cuisine along with a selection of beer, wine, and daily specials. Visitors can enjoy outdoor seating by the shore with views of various colorful fish. The menu features delectable dishes such as Conch Fritters and blackened snapper tacos bursting with flavor. Guests are also impressed by the warm welcome and recommend trying the fish tacos for an outstanding dining experience.
We stopped here after a dive and it was beyond good! The Conch Fritters have a great balance of Conch and veggies. They're crispy on the outside and fluffy yet moist (without being slimy) on the inside! We also got the snapper tacos. (blackened snapper) it was bursting with flavor, they put Limes in the water, which we squeezed over our tacos and the bright flavor of the citric and Cilantro offset the acidity of the tomatoes and bold flavor of the blacked snapper. Great food and a great place! We'll have definitely be coming back again!

Very fun and delicious food. Great service! Huge portions of food ❤️💕❤️ We sat on a picnic table. They have chairs for the ends if you need to sit in a chair. Parking was a bugger when we went. If you drive all the way there and don't find a spot, you may need to drive in reverse to get out. We found a turnaround spot, but just something to keep in mind. Otherwise, food was very good and massive portions!! Shade overhead was great.

Just go. That's my recommendation. Food is outstanding. Had fish tacos. Forgot what the fish was... I don't think I've had fish cooked so perfectly. I felt like it was pulled off the grill RIGHT after being cook. It was insanely flakey and moist. Just go!

Amazing place!! Everyhting is great about this place. They greet you as soon as you come inside the place. They have outdoor seating right by the shore where you are able to see fish. I had never seen that many fish in my life. Different kind, different colors. And the food was delish! We got the nachos, it was a very good portion, we could not fit anything else after we finish it. We did get coffee and dessert tho which it did not disappoint us at all... what can I say? Everything was amazing!

Breakfast restaurant
Over Easy is a breakfast and lunch eatery situated within Tavernier Towne Center, known for its homemade cuisine and vintage ambiance. It offers a wide range of options for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The menu is extensive and the staff is friendly. While slightly pricey, the food is good although not exceptional, which could be attributed to the restaurant's busy nature. However, it tends to quieten down after 10:30am so it's advisable to visit outside of peak hours.
Very beautifully decorated, small place, but with character. Great selection of breakfast items, presented in a tasteful manner. If I didn't live so far, I'd go back and try more of the items on the menu. Service was good and the food came in in relatively good time.

I wish I could give this place 10 🌟 what an amazing breakfast and lunch place this is. Just a little out of Key Largo. The banana French toast was so tasty and full of bananas! The Cuban sandwich was very tender and tasty. Make the trip to this place you don't be sorry!!

You can skip this place. I would give this place a rating of “Meh” for the food. The food didn’t have much flavor, the hash browns were totally flavorless, the pepper grits were just so so, the ham steak and avocado with poached eggs were mediocre. So overall, everything was just so so other than the service which was fantastic. The staff was amazing, the food was not.
Xavier Agnelli — Google review
Great selection, good quality, friendly staff. Good little spot for breakfast, large menu that spanned across breakfast, brunch and lunch. Slightly expensive, the food was good but not great, probably down to the restaurant being quite busy. It quietened down a bit from 10:30am so aim to avoid the rush. Not a bad stop off if looking for a more luxurious breakfast in the keys!

We had the best breakfast here! I wish we had one back home. Wverything was delicious! The omelets were massive! The handmade jelly should be sold! It's yummy! We had so much food left over we were able to eat it again the next morning. I highly recommend them! It has made our 'return' list!

Very nice breakfast 🥞 A nice and clean restaurant in a commercial area on the way to Key West. Very interesting breakfast and brunch options. There are Specials board for out of the menu dishes. The quality of food is very good and pancakes are delicious. Coffee is good and orange juice is ok but I doubt it's fresh, the squeezing machine was off as one can see in the picture. Maybe it's frozen fresh squeezed. 😅 Prices are within average range. Kind waiters and the service is good. 🆗👍

Over Easy is a great choice for breakfast. Having been here several times, service is always good, coffee is great, food is phenomenal. Biscuits are unique with jalapeño in them. Gravy is definitely one of the better ones I’ve had. Not pictured is the Breakfast Burrito, it is so tasty and filling. The Ham Steak (also not pictured) is incredibly good with the red eye gravy! If you’re in the Tavernier, FL area or upper keys, make sure you get to try their fabulous breakfast… Lunch… I still haven’t tried! But there’s always tomorrow! 😉 It is also Bright and well lit space, that is always clean! Give them a try!

My family went for Thanksgiving dinner this year, and it was the best Thanksgiving dinner we’ve had at a restaurant … I think ever? Most of us didn’t order the turkey or anything, but those who did enjoyed it. The food was high quality and wasn’t rushed. None of our plates were dry or cold when they got to us. Every dish seemed like it had gotten the attention it deserved.

Everything about this place is awesome! The vibe, the people, food and the drinks! Our server, Sherry, was amazing and gave us all the right recommendations and really helped celebrate my fiancée’s birthday as well! We had the coconut cake for dessert and it was delectable! Such a great find in the Keys!

A little above average and price I would say it's more of a tourist trap with the snowbirds coming as opposed to locals I'll let you decide it's my second time here but first for a big expensive dinner with friends. The alcoholic beverages are the best part of the visit, great red wine forgot which I had, some local vodka cocktails and 2 espresso Martini's. I did get a hard Olive pit in the salad and don't recommend the veal dish.

On the evening of my last night in the Keys, I happened upon this restaurant after the location I had originally had in mind was closed for the evening. What a wonderful bit of luck that turned out to be! From the moment I arrived, I felt cozy and welcomed. My server, Tracey, was so hospitable and kind. The drinks were delightful, the food (quite possibly, the most tender chicken parmesan I have ever had) was delicious and to finish off the evening, the Nutty Irishman was the perfect choice. Pity that I happened upon this gem on the night of my departure. If I ever find my way back to the Florida Keys, this will be the first dinner stop! I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

We went here 3 times out of our 6 day trip. We loved the food and the staff!!! Our two waitresses were extremely friendly and remembered us and made us feel at home. The good was excellent. We tried a little bit of everything. Their espresso martini is amazing and highly recommended. I suggest sitting in the dining area as the bar area can be loud. Reservations are recommended but we didn't get them 1 night and only waited a few mins.

Awesome experience! We forgot to make a reservation and they were still kind enough to accommodate us on a Saturday night. Food was fantastic, so we're the desserts (tiramisu especially, as well as the chocolate chocolate cake). Strongly recommend... also, Brandy was a great server!

Dinner was great outside on the balcony until the two old women next to us started smoking. This restaurant is on the top floor. The inside is very loud. The outside is very romantic. Food and drinks were excellent. Don't be confused by all the other restaurants in the building.

Great food. Scallops were excellent. Awesome drinks. Efficient service. Outside deck for eating has a view of the canal. They extensive specials each day. If fresh yellowtail is one of the specials you can't go wrong in getting that dish. The 3 cheese filo appetizer was outstanding. The key lime for dessert was delicious. They have bottles of wines available at various price points.

Does not disappoint. Eggplant parmesan was amazing. Excellent service from Sandy. Well run establishment. Great service and food. Made reservations to be safe. We will definitely come back. Oh, and the coconut cake was delicious.
