Breakfast restaurant
Joey's Pancake House is a popular breakfast restaurant in Maggie Valley, North Carolina that draws tourists from all over the country. The waitstaff are friendly and attentive, and the food is delicious. It's a great place to visit in any season.
We love breakfast. This place was not only adorable but also delicious!! Staff, very friendly but also efficient. Fast service, there was a wait, it went by fast. They turn tables like no other. The lemon poppy seed pancake was to die for, so I bought a candle to take home. The cinnamon apple Belgian floral waffle was not too heavy and the perfect amount of sweetness. I’d visit Maggie valley just to go here.

They really made our first day on our honeymoon awesome. Our waitress Kristen was really amazing. Pumpkin pancakes, chocolate pancakes and the omelets were amazing!!!

This is the best pancake house we have been to. It's number 1 in NC for a reason. Service is great, affordable, the food is absolutely delicious! Pancakes are so soft and fluffy. Hash brown casserole tastes like scalloped potatoes, so good! The corned beef hash, oh my, they roll it into an omelette shape, with a soft crisp on the outside. The bacon is real bacon! Not that cheap stuff. The food is not greasy, not cheaply made, just absolutely delicious. It will make you a breakfast snob. We kept going back every morning on our trip Absolutely a must stop! Can't wait to go back!

JPH might be the best breakfast restaurant this side of the Mississippi. A gem in the Smokies! Amazing to see so many employees working in one place in these times… and all with a smile! Jeff is the most attentive and kind waiter I’ve ever experienced in the restaurant industry. The service is unbeatable. No wonder this place has been a Maggie Valley staple for all these years. Definitely don’t miss out on Joey’s.

Blueberry Pancakes are awesome! The Hash Brown Casserole is absolutely amazing. My mom enjoyed her Eggs Benedict special. Located in downtown Maggie Valley, this breakfast joint is located right on Soco Rd. Be sure to plan for a long wait, especially on the weekends. Fortunately, they take your cell phone so you are able to walk down the street to the gift shops down the street while you wait. We went on a Sunday, and had about a 40 minute wait....totally worth the wait.

Love this place. Highly recommended. The old lady ( grandma) that greets you at the door is so friendly and so sweet. The service was great and the food was delicious. Loved the hashbrown. It was very creamy. We went during Christmas, the place was beautifully decorated and very inviting. We went very early during the holidays, didn't have to wait to be seated, but the restaurant was getting full.

Walking distance from our stay at Jonathan creek inn. We were disappointed that they didn't offer takeout, however we hedged a bet that their food would be worth the dining in experience, and it was. 😉 My kid had the Belgian waffle with the apple topping and a side of bacon, and I had their eggs Benedict special. The only issue I had was that the English muffin was too tough to cut, so I just ate from the ham up. Their in house made hollandaise sauce was dreamy. That tomato slice was flavourful. As others have said, our waiter was attentive and professional. I didn't see the need to let him know about my English muffin, but I'm sure he would have been on top of it. Their coffee was fresh and nostalgic of any classic diner experience. Their orange juice was from concentrate, and super sweet, reminiscent of Tang. It was a fun experience my both my kid and I, and we would definitely return.

My daughters and I vacationed in Maggie Valley for 5 days and on our 3rd morning we wanted Pancakes. This being the only Pancake house we had to try. The customer service was amazing, the staff were all amazing and the food was superb! We ate here 3 days in a row. They are only open 7am-12pm but the wait on any of those days were no longer than 25 minutes. The service was fast! I love this restaurant and we will go back every time we can.

Probably the best home style breakfast restaurant i have ever been to. Super friendly staff and the food comes out quick and hot. Have been coming here for over a week now and everyday they make it seem like we are one of the locals. And Lilly, that girl does not stop serving coffee. You literally take a sip and she has lapped the entire restaurant with delicious hot coffee. Keep doing what you do Joey's. Our new favorite breakfast spot for Maggie Valley. Great job!

Located on Soco Road in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, this breakfast/lunch restaurant is a long-standing establishment. Opened in 1966, this restaurant offers regular breakfast offerings like pancakes, eggs, bacon, etc. They have several options of specialty pancakes and waffles as well as omelettes. We had the 3 Golden Pancakes with 2 eggs and country ham and the Lemon Poppyseed Pancakes with blueberry topping and a side of bacon. The pancakes were light and fluffy. The lemon flavor was so fresh, and the blueberry topping was the perfect accompaniment. The eggs snd ham were great. We arrived right around 9 a.m. on a Monday in July and only waited 3-4 minutes for a table. The wait can get quite long here because of the popularity of this restaurant. We were told to expect a wait of an hour to hour and a half. The service was friendly and efficient. Ms. Loretta even joked/teased which added to our enjoyment.

Was the best breakfast I've ever had. I've done some traveling around and eaten my share of waffles and pancakes. This place is unforgettable. It is a must do. Get the blueberry topped waffle. Not pictured is the peach pancake that was seasonal but was amazing. If you are there during summer and they have it, definitely order it, you won't regret it. The food tastes like it is made with love and care. This place was worth the wait. Beautiful hand painted mural when you come in. Server was fantastic. Coffee was great and always topped off. Food came out fast and view outside was beautiful. This place is a dream for breakfast lovers. They also have the best smelling lemon poppyseed candle when you check out to buy to take home.

This was our first time visiting Maggie Valley and eating at Joey's pancake House. Everything our waitress Jamie recommended or suggested was off the chart unbelievably delicious. Do yourself a favor and eat whatever Jamie suggests!! Her level of customer service and attention to detail far exceeded my expectations for a mom and pop little restaurant. You can tell they've been in business since 1966 because of the quality of their food and the staff that they have. Looking forward to coming back in April for some fly fishing and enjoying some amazing food with hopefully Jamie as our waitress. She went above and beyond to make my 6-year-old daughters day.

First time here the food was delicious just as we were told it was. This place came highly recommended on our day trip to Maggie Valley. There was a little bit of a wait. But that was to be expected. You really should try this place if you’re ever in the area. You won’t be sorry. But they close at 1 pm daily so make sure you go before then.

We stopped in on our way through town after leaving gatlinburg. There was only a 15 minute wait and it was well worth it! The employees are so happy and friendly and the atmosphere is great. Lanell is the lady making the wait list she’s very sweet and funny. Makes the wait a little more fun. Our server Bonnie was very good. She’s super sweet. The food was amazing! Hot chocolate was amazing as well!

Top 3 best breakfasts I've EVER had. The pancakes were light and airy yet burst flavor with every bite. We had the cinnamon bun pancakes...they are a must! The western hash brown casserole was also amazing. Even my egg whites were delicious. Wonderful environment and a friendly and attentive staff made our visit an absolute delight. 10 out of 10 will be back!

Carver's Maggie Valley Restaurant Since 1952 is a long-standing breakfast spot that has been satisfying customers for generations. Its outstanding breakfast options and convenient location have made it a beloved favorite among both locals and travelers. The menu features authentic, country-cooked dishes, with highlights such as biscuits, blueberry pancakes, chicken tenders, mac n cheese, and biscuits with gravy. Visitors praise the friendly staff, generous portions, delicious food, fresh coffee, and phenomenal potatoes.
Very good place to eat! Especially when you're craving home cooking! The fried chicken was amazing!!! And the vegetables were so good, I could've eaten another bowl of green beans! The biscuits are melt in your mouth fluffy! Hubs had the chicken tenders plate and they were amazing!!! Definitely be back when in this area!!
Paula Cassell — Google review
The fried chicken was very tasty and cooked just right. The cornbread however was dry and the fries were just ok. My applesauce was good. I would rate it 3 stars, but Lauren, my waitress was so good, I gave them the extra star. If you go, ask for her and then tip her well. She's still in college. Help her out! Sorry about the half eaten meal pic. I was half way through when I thought of it.
Richard Levesque — Google review
The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The price is definitely great for the portions. Everything was delicious. The coffee was fresh and delicious as well. The potatoes are phenomenal! My picky 5 year old ate his entire plate for the first times ever!
Cheyenne McGrady — Google review
The food was good, not great. I ordered the fried chicken because the menus said it was their specialty. There just was not a lot of flavor. However, the staff was very friendly and the restaurant was clean and comfortable.
John Valdario — Google review
My Philly Cheese Steak was very tasty. Wait staff extremely accommodating as we got there 30 minutes before closing and offered to leave; they welcomed us in and took good care of our party.
Laurie Rigsby — Google review
First time stopping here and it was really good. The staff were very pleasant and welcoming. We all shared a few items at the table and there was PLENTY on each plate. The chicken tender meal was plentiful and the tenders were juicy with crispy skin and full of flavor. The mac n cheese was good as well. I was expecting small/thin pancakes, but the cakes were at least 7” around and nearly 1” thick with good flavor. The biscuits and gravy had nice chunks of sausage in it, with a really good flavor. The biscuits were the star though. Best biscuits I’ve had in YEARS. I would go back just to order a to-go order of biscuits. It’s a cute little mom and pop place with good food and friendly staff.
Omri C. — Google review
We stopped in for breakfast and the food wasn't what I had hoped but I would go back to try again if I'm in the area. I had the bologna sandwich and my wife had the bacon egg sandwich. We were both disappointed as the bread must have been over toasted and made it extremely tough. The bologna was very thin and really couldn't even taste it on the sandwich. The fried potatoes were amazing though and I wish I had more. We split a biscuit and gravy and I was impressed as you could tell the biscuit and gravy were homemade. I am a big fan of these small mom and pop places so I do want try them again.
Bubba Bagwell — Google review
We tasted no love in the food or spices either. Anything deep fried is delicious, such as the fried chicken and okra. All the other sides tasted and looked fresh out of the can. The service was lacking, and I didn't even get the chance to ask for butter for my baked potato. 😒 the only hot sauce is Texas Pete in a packet. The corn bread muffins were undercooked and, again no butter.
Mike Dodson — Google review
The service wasn't great that day, but the food was good. Didn't get my whole order and couldn't get my server to ever come check on us so I could let her know. Another server took care of us though. Hoping it was just an off day. I would go back since the fried chicken and sides were spot on. Everyone has an off day.

This is the spot if you’re looking to relax and enjoy your meal without all the hustle and bustle! Good food, great service (ask for Garrett)! So far, we’ve only had breakfast here but are intending to come back for supper!! Very comfortable atmosphere and the people make you feel welcome!!!

Established in 1952. This fine place is awesome. Great customer service. Reasonable prices are great. Fantastic local cuisine.
David Benton — Google review
As you come in you notice right away there is no focus on customer service. Took them a while to acknowledge us even after they have walked past us a couple of times. Once sitted, we commented that the place is old but well kept and clean??, did I say clean, that's only until you enter the bathroom that was filthy 😡. The only good thing about our breakfast was the biscuit. Eggs had no flavor, gritts had no flavor and fried potatoes were raw 🤑. Then to top it off, I go to the cashier to pay and when I got there I was the only one waiting to be helped, by the time I got any service there were 3 other people standing in line. Again, people see you but don't help. Finally, a lady who was busy showing photos on her phone to some customers decided to take care of the customers standing at the register. Then she told me. Well, this receipt doesn't have a total ?$#@ What the heck, why is that my issue? She got a nasty attitude and disappeared and went into the kitchen. She had a calculator right there, but I guess she HAD to make an issue of it. Horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and do NOT stop here.

Awesome service from the moment we walked in through my last slurp of sweet tea. Food is as good as Mama's! Pic says it all!!
Frank Cates — Google review
Pissed....all I can say is if the one tiny nibble of sausage I found in my four orders of sausage gravy biscuits was how they do it.....well. I'm a small business owner and try to never ruin anyone's star rating. Which is why I left a 3...I'm hoping they forgot my sausage and this isn't their norm......DO BETTER!

The most friendly staff and great good. Fast and delicious!
Diann Stutzman — Google review
Fried chicken is a must. The Biscuits, oh my, they are delicious! We also Had the grilled rainbow trout, a first for me, was definitely fresh but, the trout flavor is not my favorite. We ordered the liver mush biscuit as an appetizer, just to try it. Again, the biscuit was amazing, the liver mush I did not like much. Tastes like a liver sausage might taste. My husband loved it. So, it all depends on your taste buds. The service was great. No time for pics, cause we were hungry!

BearWaters Brewing Company: Creekside, established in 2019, has quickly become a popular spot in Haywood County. Nestled by the creek and surrounded by mountains, it offers a picturesque setting for enjoying their award-winning brews. Whether you choose to relax on the outdoor patio or inside the spacious restaurant, you're in for a treat. The menu features an unexpected twist on classic taqueria selections, providing a unique dining experience.
Eco Friendly local brewery. Amazing fresh food. And great flavors of beer. Beer list is smaller but a little of eveverything. Smoked trout dip was fresh and local, would highly suggest to order. Great spot in Maggie Valley NC.
Travis Ferguson — Google review
First off this place is dog friendly for your well behaved pets on a leash. It was raining while we were there but there was a covered part of the patio. They had a nice beer selection and after just a few tastes made our decision. Ordered food and it was delivered quickly and was very tasty with our beer. Parking was easy and located right on the creek but the vibe wasn't that strong in the rain on the patio so need to come back. Everyone was very friendly. You will want to stop by the Maggie valley location and do a little day drinking in order to be ready for some evening drinking. If you like this review give it a like and follow us for some more food and drink reviews, adventure reviews and even some places to stay.

My husband and I dined here. Our server, Angela, was attentive and very helpful in explaining the menu, answering our questions, and keeping check on us. We tried the hummus appetizer; I especially enjoyed the pickled red onions, a surprise among the veggies. I also had the salted caramel pork chop with cheerwine collards and smashed sweet potato. The portions were generous - the pork chop was enormous. The collards were sweet and tender, the chop crispy and juicy, and the sweet potatoes a smooth and delicious complement to the other textures of the meal. The music was fun 70s light rock, the dining room sunny and airy in the late afternoon. I had a varied flight of beers as well and each lived up to its menu description.
Deborah L. W. Roszel — Google review
Great beer and attentive staff. They food is the typical food you'd find at most breweries - pizza, burgers, wings, salads. We had the wings, trout dip starter and pizza. The wings were crispy and the trout dip was unexpected at brewery but delicious. The pizza was standard - nothing fancy. Food was pricey for the portion sizes.

We ate dinner at BearWaters Brewing while staying at Stony Creek Lodge right next door. It was really good the first night so we had dinner here again the second night. Staff were very friendly and plenty of seating inside and out. The first night I had Thai chicken rice bowl and second night the parkway burger. All the food was delicious. Good beer too. And they also have cider and hard lemonade since my wife doesn't care for most beer. Fun place, definitely stop here again next time we're in Maggie Valley.
Justin P — Google review
You order your drinks and food at the bar and find your own seat, and if the weather allows, you should try to find one on the deck near the water. It's a great opportunity to enjoy a great meal with a great view. They seemed to be out of a few things, but I was able to settle on the blackened chicken wrap and fries. The food was very good and the fries were unique and delicious.
Matt Bitner — Google review
A great spot to chill and grab a brew right on the creek. A full kitchen and numerous beer and cider options. You'll meet friends and find a great spot to chill after a motorcycle ride or family activity.

Just wow! Our party of 5 came in for afternoon apps and drinks and this place did not disappoint. Really nice indoor seating (open area) and the outdoor seating overlooks the creek. Laid back vibe and extremely clean. Super friendly and helpful staff. We ordered beer flights (all of them were delicious … the aged barrel tripel literally tastes like whiskey!). We ordered a cheese flatbread and the fields flatbread - they were absolutely delicious!!! We will definitely be back next time we come to Maggie Valley. This place is worth checking out!

We loved this place! Friendly staff, great location on the water, good beer selection and food. Their pretzel , beer cheese and thin crust pizza were delicious. Definitely recommend if you’re in Maggie Valley.

We got the crawfish bites, the sidewinder fries and the Appalachian Flatbread pizza. It all tasted amazing and we took some home. Our bartender/waitress was very open with her communication and got us our food in a decent amount of time. I'd come back to try other things on the menu.
Wayne T Whaley — Google review
Nice place, beer was great, bar tender and staff were friendly, however no cook for unforseen reason, only pizza and pretzels. Wife is German and said pretzel was one of the best she has ever had! Luke was very pleasant.
Guy Johnson — Google review
Really wanted to like this place. We had great service, but the food missed the mark. We came for drinks earlier in the day, and returned later for dinner as the menu sounded amazing. I ordered the Tomahawk Ribeye ( cooked medium ) with mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli & Dijon cilantro. When the steak came out, I was surprised to find that the steak was no more than 1/4" thick. Not surprisingly, the steak was well done. I hate to complain, but we did and the waitress took the steak back. Another one eventually came back (same thickness) and somehow it did have slight pink to it. Unfortunately, the steak was under seasoned and mostly fat - which is surprising for how thin it was. Also, there was barely any sauce included in the dish. Overall, a very bland and overpriced ($38!) meal. Originally, they were going to give us $10 off but they eventually took the whole meal off thanks to my wife. My wife ordered the Shrimp & Grits, but she believe she got polenta instead (or really overcooked grits!) As mentioned, the restaurant made things right. We had planned on returning to try other dishes in the following days, but unfortunately this experience turned us off. I can say that they had really good wings and decent beer.
Tyson Manwarren — Google review
We came here to eat both nights that we were in Maggie Valley. Food was great, they have 3 different kitchens (lots of options), very fast service, friendly and nice staff. Also, very nice atmosphere, love all the plants. On the 2nd night we were there, my kid had a little accident and was upset, so the owner (not sure if the owner?) brought him a banana puding which was very sweet and appreciated. Also, banana pudding was amazing! Highly recommend this place.
Maja Dupovac — Google review
We came to Maggie Valley to spend the weekend in the mountains and go for a few hikes. One of the days we came to this brewery - when we arrived we thought it was closed down for good, but it seems they have had some issue in their front with either water damage or something going on with the roof. Once we entered from the side, we were surprised what a nice space BearWaters has inside - plenty of different areas or zones for different ambiances. Staff were super nice, and helped us figure out what beer to order. All the beers we got were great, I especially liked the sour ones. We ended up getting fried pickles (which were AMAZING) and the wings were also awesome. Fries and burgers were great as well. We were very impressed with the quality of the food, you don’t always expect that from a brewery - not that it was upscale, but it was just delicious and well served and presented. I was very satisfied with the whole evening we spent at the brewery, and will recommend anyone come check them out! Just don’t ignore them if it seems closed from the front, they may still be doing repairs. Absolutely awesome place to eat, drink, and hang out!

Very good food, friendly staff! A surprising selection of authentic Thai food also! The Salted Caramel Porkchop was probably one of the best I have had anywhere. The drunken noodles and sweet and sour chicken was also delicious!

Family restaurant
Country Vittles Family Style Restaurant is a classic, no-frills spot offering traditional American dishes for breakfast and dinner. It has been a staple in the Valley for many years and is known for its family-style country cooking. The restaurant's spacious setting makes it perfect for families, with an all-you-can-eat breakfast and lunch option available. Unlike typical buffets, there's no need to keep track of kids at the buffet tables as the food is brought directly to your table.
Our go to spot for breakfast when visiting the Smoky Mountains... Amazing all you can eat breakfast with bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, grits, country fried potatoes, biscuits and gravy and country cooked apples... Breakfast at Country Vittles is always great! If you are headed to the Smokeys from the NC side, do try out this wonderful restaurant in Maggie Valley! Delicious, fresh food and very nice people serving it!

This place is nothing but hospitality plus. Extremely polite and nice with each customer. Service is top shelf. Food is great and their all you can eat for $10.99 is awesome. I always get meat and more meat. Fried potatoes are great even the maple syrup for the pancakes taste homemade. The apples are great as well. If you are in this area please stop by for some down to earth hospitality and great food. And there’s a lot to do near by.

When we come up to Maggie Valley, no trip is complete without a stop to Country Vittles. The all you can eat breakfast has all the staples of a classic breakfast and honestly has the best bang for your buck at a little over 10 dollars per person. It's not set as a buffet, instead opting for a personal table setup with all your food, which during covid and social distancing is a very welcome option. Our server was diligent and efficient, quick to bring us our food steaming from the kitchen and our drinks to the table. As always, a wonderful time.

I was ready to give Country Vittles ONE STAR because they LIED to us… We were told that you can get a Family Style Meal All You Can Eat for less than $11… They told us we would be able to get more food when we wanted more of what they served us… Well here is the lie… The lie is making it to a second or third serving because they give you so much food in the first serving… They make it almost impossible to get to a second or third helping… And that is how it should be!!! The wait wasn’t bad at all on a Saturday morning and the service was good. I would definitely visit the next time I am in town!

This was a little gem of a restaurant we found after visiting Wheels Through Time in Maggie Valley. Country Vittles is right down the road. We got the all you can eat dinner which is served family style, which means all the food is brought out to your table. No buffet line. They'll bring more as needed. The dinner included fried chicken(breast and wing), southern fried steak, green beans, mashed potatoes, corn, biscuits and gravy, and cornbread. It was all very good. I'm not a huge fan of green beans, but I liked them. My only disappointment was the cornbread. It was a little dry and didn't have much corn flavor. It tasted more like a hush puppy. The service was excellent and we were served quickly. Everything was nice and clean and had nice decor. Many locals were there eating. We all know they won't be there if the place is no good! All the staff we dealt with was super sweet. The price was on the bargain side. Under $35 for two with non adult beverages. Give yourself some pleasure and stop here for breakfast or lunch. They're only open until 2pm, so don't wait too long. They also have all you can eat breakfast and normal meals on the menu.
Richard Levesque — Google review
Fortunately! Didn’t get a chance to even experience the food! The service was absolutely unacceptable and disgusting! We walked in and the hostess just waved us right back out, with nasty hand gestures! I’m guessing she was not taught early on in life, to “be a big girl and use her words.” We asked what was going on, and then she cared to share that breakfast was over, and we had to wait 30 minutes outside until they starting serving lunch! Despite the horrible first impression, we decided to wait. Thirty minutes later, we heard our name called. Our waitress walked us to our table, threw our menus at us, and said we could get our own drinks! Didn’t introduce us to the menu or offer anything! As she walked away, she loudly expressed to another waitress, that she was not getting our drinks! The entire time, the vibe, attitude and definitely the service, was absolutely horrible! At this point we decided we had enough of getting treated this way, and we decided to leave! So sad things went this way, folks in the area and the previous reviews, were highly recommending this place! We will for sure, never return! We hope they fix their service and wish them all the best!

This place is one of the very best if not the best breakfast and lunch spot in the Waynesville Maggie Valley area. The biscuits and gravy will cause you to 2nd guess ever leaving North Carolina. Family owned and just about the kindest folk you will ever have the pleasure of meeting. The staff keep the place clean and running smoothly with no hesitation to help and smiles when needed. I’ll definitely stop in each and every time I’m close. You will walk out with the feeling ready for the day and a smile

Looking for a hearty breakfast in a family friendly atmosphere, this is the perfect place. Although Very busy, because other breakfast restaurants in town were closed, we were greeted by a friendly host and the waiting list moved along fairly quickly with approximately a 15 minute wait. Waiting outside in the Valley of the Great Smoky Mountains is not a chore! Once inside, we noticed that the restaurant is actually quite sizable, with tables seated adequately apart so that each party can eat, visit, etc., Our server was lovely, very efficient. Prices were great and our breakfast of pork tenderloin and eggs was delicious! **super cute coffee mugs! We enjoyed it and will go back!

We found this little gem by accident. We have driven by it many times but never noticed it. We searched food near us and this place popped up with great reviews, so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. Best biscuits I've every had, and the chicken was great too. We will definitely eat here again our next time in the area so I can try some of their other specials. If you love good country food, this is you place.

We had the breakfast buffet here, and it was great. Just good home cooking style breakfast served family style. Added some corned beef hash a la carte. Would love to try more and will be back to do so.

Although this was my first time, the service and all the staff made it a very enjoyable event with family and friends. This is a yearly Christmas breakfast event that will continue and as long as this restaurant is around they will eat at this restaurant. As we were leaving they said, see you next year. Thank You Country Vittles

The best breakfast value you'll ever find anywhere! For $10.49, all you can eat and they bring it to you, constantly checking to see if you need more of anything. The food was great and Lisa did an outstanding job making sure we were happy! If we're ever back in Maggie Valley, we'll be sure to have breakfast here again!

Well let's just say, it was a disappointment. Ordered Philly cheesesteak, menu states cheese, green peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Well what I got was steak, raw green peppers and onion, no cheese, no mushrooms. Wanted the cheesy potatoes they did not have any available. Sandwich was lukewarm warm at best. World best banana pudding, no no no.....tastes like slime and no flavor, bananas you can tell have turned black days ago, old. Very disappointed after reading such good reviews.

An absolute must visit! Owner is a passionate sandwich craftsman! Unbelievably tasty, will not disappoint. Wish I lived closer because these are the best sandwiches I’ve ever had. Our waitress was exceptional and so friendly. Can’t wait to come back!

Stopped here because there seemed to be nothing else open and glad we did. The Ruben sandwich was delicious and my husband had the turkey with apple butter very tasty (I will have to try this at home🙂) only one waitress for all of the tables and she was hustling. Good job! The dining area was very clean and spacious. Very good food and experience!

Been wanting to try this place for a while. Finally got the chance going through here during lunch. The food was excellent. Service was top notch. Some with the owner about the food and where they are from. Wonderful people. Great hometown restaurant for delicious food. Would definitely go again if we are in the area.

Tried the Tammy's Sammy. Not my favorite sandwich, but it was definitely good and the croissant was flaky. The food wasn't anything particularly spectacular, but for the price and quality service, it was a positive experience and I'd definitely come back again. They have a large amount of seating and a large selection of sandwiches.

Imagine my surprise after spending the day at the Wheels Through Time museum to find a down-home diner in a tiny mountain town, with multiple vegetarian options! And it was all delicious! And they have a 100% sanitation rating! Everyone there was super sweet, highly recommend Maggie Valley Sandwich Shop!

Great sandwich shop! We had the cuban sandwich, club sandwich, chicken salad sandwich and turkey bacon melt. All were fantastic. Service was friendly and place is clean and welcoming. You won't be disappointed. If you go to Wheels of Time, you can take a break from the museum and walk over for lunch. Banana pudding is very good too!!

We come in Thursday, this was your second time. Just like our first visit, it was awesome. The chicken salad sandwich is so good. The pasta is amazing. My husband got the Italian and loved it, my daughters got the philly cheese and said it was good. We will be back.

Great service. Wonderful food. And the owner/cook was very friendly. I had the club sandwich on wheat bread and it was outstanding. I could immediately tell that they used fresh ingredients. Their coleslaw was also yummy.

My partner and I came here for lunch as we waited for the rest of our family to finish snow tubing down the road. The service took white a while even though we sat at the bar next to the register and our waitress was quite forgetful. I will say she was very nice though. I had ordered what was called "Award Winning Chili" and was pretty average if you ask me. I decided to go with the "New Jersey Sloppy Joe" (Tripple decker on rye with turkey, ham, corned beef, cole slaw, Thousand Island dressing and Swiss) and my God that thing was a lot. It was absolutely delicious and had to take half home and finish the next day. I would say check it out if you are in town but don't expect much from the chili and don't go when you are on a time crunch.

Fresh made to order sandwich, I just wish my bread was more pressed/hot. Very nice and friendly folks. Will be back.
