This place was awesome! We got two apps to share and two half portions of the entrees to share as well. The lamb lollipops were amazing!!! Everyone should try one. They were tender and the sauce was great! Order the chicken and waffles!! I'll say that again..... ORDER THE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES!! Fantastic!!!! No further words can be said. We also got the Chilean sea bass, it was delicious. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We loved it, thought it was amazing, and would recommend it to anyone.

The food was delicious! But the pricing is a bit high for some items (Serioisly, $8 for a few slices of bread and butter? That's absurd.) Would definitely recommend the lamb lollipops!!

Ate here at the suggestion of family who lives close to Corning. Went during the parade of lights which was absolutely beautiful to begin with and of course we knew it would be hard to get a table during a very busy day for the town. Thankfully our wait was minimal but we got the opportunity to sit at the bar and enjoy each a festive cocktail each which were fantastic. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and very comforting. Service was amazing and the food as well. Of course they brought out a happy birthday dessert out for my wife which made her night. I’ll make sure to let others know to go there!

The meal was fantastic, the wagyu was definitely not what you'd expect for 60 dollars it was a bit dry and chewy but overall the cheese and meat platters tasted great, and the miso soup my wife said was to die for. the wine was incredible and please do try the wagyu tallow fries they are so delicious ... For the four of us to eat and try a lil bit of everything it cost about 500 dollars ...so please be cautious the bill adds up quickly

Such a lovely spot in Corning. The drinks, food and service are impeccable. The poutine is a must order and you can't go wrong with any of the mains.

If you're looking for a truly exceptional dining experience, look no further! This restaurant offers an extraordinary range of bourbons, whiskeys, and wines, expertly curated by a knowledgeable and creative bartender and server. The friendly and welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home from the moment you step in. The cocktail offerings are nothing short of magical, evoking an alchemy-like charm that adds to the overall allure of the place. As for the food, it was simply delightful! The lamb lollipops and sautéed vegetable and cheese board were outstanding, with the lamb lollipops leaving an unforgettable impression on my taste buds. The attentive and friendly staff deserve special mention for enhancing the overall dining experience. Their recommendations and warm demeanor contributed to making the evening even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, l'll be returning to this phenomenal establishment. I highly recommend it to anyone in search of a place that combines exceptional drinks, mouthwatering dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere. It's a true gem that promises a memorable and enchanting time for all who visit.

We were a party of 7, a walk in due to a few in our party not liking the original place we were going to. The hostest was gracious enough to let us have a table with out reservations. The food was great. I got the Duck Milk buns and the duck was incredible. Thanks to all the staff that helped us feel welcome. Great time. We will be back the next time we come to Corning for the glass museum.

What a wonderful experience! My husband and I came here for date night. I was excited for the menu. Our waitress Courtney was phenomenal. She had great recommendations and was very friendly. We like that she gave us time and told us when she'd come back. She was on it. The lamb lollipops were delicious. I wasn't expecting them to be medium rare, which is usually not my thing. But they were very good. The blend of toppings really complimented the lamb itself. The market steak is so worth it! The prime tenderloin melted in my mouth. Cooked to perfection. I loved the juicy sauteed vegetables that complimented the meal well. My husband really enjoyed his seafood hollandaise. He was literally licking the plate clean. We ended with the dark chocolate molten cake. It was super yummy. I think that it was a little crispy for my liking around the edges and small for a $14 dessert, but overall it was good. It was a great date night. We will definitely be back again.

Sad to say but the cellar is on the ground floor. However they do have over 40 wines by the glass and a large bottle list. They play the table stakes with local ingredients and finger lakes wines. There is a bit of discord between the décor and menu. The burgers were under seasoned and bacon half crispy. The kimchee fried were good and so was the classic Manhattan cocktail. For the dessert the iced wine far out shined the apple crumble that was lacking sweetness. Overall it was a nice date night but I hope to have a better experience with a summer menu.

Absolutely love this place. Excellent bar STOCKED with hundreds of drink options. Rare bottles of bourbon, extensive beers in cans, bottles, and 8 taps featuring international favorites and local brews alike. The kitchen dishes out uniquely gourmet food that will make you want to visit for the food as much as the drink! I thought I had more photos but I guess I'll have to go back!

We had a great dining experience at this new gem in our hometown . The food was delicious and offered great value. We were particularly impressed with the braised beef noodles, Pho, and soup dumplings which were bursting with flavor. The service was wonderful, although we were disappointed to learn that the server doesn't get to keep the entire tip and only receives a percentage. We also noticed the absence of a bus person. Nonetheless, this didn't overshadow our enjoyment of the meal. We've already been here three times and can't wait to return and explore more items on the menu.

Nice bar with a wide array of choices. I picked the Bleacher Creature (Italian Sausage) while my partner ordered the Curried Beef. Both were amazing, and served with greens with some kind of delicious ginger dressing. For a Friday night, it wasn't too packed but service was fast and friendly. This is a must-do as far as I'm concerned.

We came here from Rochester for a weekend in January. The ambiance is so cozy! Amazing beer (and bourbon) selection and delicious food. Ordered several things which were all delicious, but the brisket sandwich was probably one of the best things we ever had. Service was wonderful! We definitely plan to come back.

One of my favorite places to eat and have drinks. Atmosphere is very chill and artistic and the music adds to the experience. Vibe is always positive. Staff is on point. Food is fresh, local, and upscale at a great price. The chef is one of a kind. The bar staff makes some of the most beautiful drinks and I notice customers snap and share pics. If u want to feel upscale and meet new people and share smiles and laughs, this is definitely a stop for you.

A Poke bowl and a Belgian beer is a food combination to delight me, and not one I'd expect to find on a Market Street in upstate New York. Yet here it was. I had 2 bowls they were so good. The cool dark atmosphere on a hot, humid, weekend afternoon, was perfect. Staff and guests chattered as they took thier time in a way I imagine US southerners languish with time. A perfect piece in the jigsaw of my weekend away-holi-day

Interesting, flavorful, tasty food in a pleasant casual restaurant with a clean bathroom. Pictured: the not-hotdog, fried rice, and bunny melt (had to try it...!) Price came to just about $20 a person. They do a reasonable have surcharge for credit cards (3.5%). Bread was good. Plates had a great balance of nom, crunch, tender, sour, etc

Eclectic drinks collection (try mission bell!) and usually diverse dining menu. They also have kids menu which is not listed on the menu. Trendy ambience and service was quick. It is closed on Sundays and a cautionary note, seating is either at the bar or a big continuous table where people can sit next to each other (noteworthy during post covid era!). Overall a lovely place.

Great variety of unique food on the menu—much needed for this area. The beer brisket sandwich had nice flavor from the beer cheese. Broad selection of drinks, hip music playing, and tasteful cozy nooks with armchairs, books, and board games.
Sarah Bogdan — Google review
Great food, beautiful space, good cocktails, but the noise made conversation impossible. Despite the seeming conviviality that a shared table might produce it was impossible to talk to and hear my wife right across the table, so how would a group of more than two possibly manage? It was so unbearable, we cut our visit short. We would been happy to stay longer and buy another round of cocktails if not more food. My suggestion is some acoustic material on the ceiling as all the surfaces are hard. But even easier--simply turn down the music a bit. Because that was so loud, people had to nearly yell, which just contributed to the cacophony. (I think I even detected the music was turned up to overcome all the people yelling. The opposite of a virtuous cycle!) If you go alone and don't care to really talk to anyone, this may even be an enjoyable place, but if you are going with good friends and want to carry on more conversation that extends beyond yelling--'what did you order?' or 'how do you like it?'--then try to come when no one else is there! Visited on Saturday night, 11/18, starting at about 5:30PM.

The food is always excellent. They just updated their menu. I had the pulled pork sandwich with a Hibiscus Hatchet (my favorite drink there - Gin, bubbly and Hibiscus syrup) and my husband had the Banyon Curry. Both were fabulous. We were lucky to snang one of the single tables in the back (I hate the one long table where everyone sits together!). Be aware that it's acoustically always a bit loud and dark in there. Servers are fantastic. One of our favorite places on Market Street!

Vibrant bar pub in the historic section of Corning. The sandwiches are decent. Many attempts to create traditional sandwiches with new twists. Some are better, some worse off. We like the curried beef, a hint of curry sauce enhanced the meat nicely. The banh mi, not so much. The chef used the soft and spongy roll, pickled cucumbers, and garlicky mayonnaise sauce, which are very contrary to the spirit of banh mi, where soft but crispy roll is king, and fresh crunchy cucumbers are the staples, and last the sauce or pate spread should be subtle, to enhance but not dominate the flavors. The littlephitaly was a good attempt to capture the philly roast pork sandwich. It is the best sandwich of the night. For travelers, passing through town, we found this place has many nice things that a gathering place must have: long community table, decent sandwiches, and long variable beer list. Quite a lively place. We would stop back if we happen to be in the area again. One question for the name, Hand + Foot, is it because it just cost a bit less than Arm + Leg to eat there?
Credible Critic — Google review
We stopped here for lunch and thought the menu was very interesting. We tried the sausage sandwich, which was very good. We particularly liked the pickled onions and peppers as this added a unique zing. We also tried the Philitaly, which had some great flavors. We really liked the pepper relish. Our only critique was that the sliced pork on the Philitaly was a little tough, but that could be more of a preference. The weight staff was outstanding, friendly, and knowledgeable and everyone was great with our dietary restrictions restrictions, which we always very much appreciate. We would absolutely go back and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good meal in the area. Two things I did want to mention as well. They do not serve coffee - if you like to have coffee at the end of a meal there is a coffee shop a few doors down. Also, they do charge a fee for credit card payments.

One of my favorite restaurants of all time. It's a two hour drive reach way for our family, but we try to go at least once a month. Great options for my kids. Specialty drinks are amazing. All the staff are knowledgeable, friendly, and happy. The menu is fresh and inventive. Poke is a must. The Korean rice cakes are addictive. I liked the pork better than the newest rendition, but still amazing. Perhaps the pork was life changing though. Definitely show up starving, plan on leftovers, get the pickle sampler! Oh and fried pickles! There's too much good to say for one review! They also have a great selection of art on the walls.

Had dinner here on a Saturday night, sat at the bar and the bartenders took great care of us! My wife got the fried chicken sandwich and I got the brisket one, absolutely delicious! Lots of cocktails, good beer and a bustling vibe, really good. The food looked so good when it came I forgot to take a picture!

Ate there last night, while in town for work. Absolutely wonderful experience. The liquor selection was fantastic. Service was excellent and the chicken curry sandwich was delicious, even though I was trying to figure out how to eat it. 😂 Sat at the end of the bar next to the regulars. They were great company and it seemed as though the staff treats everyone as family. Bartender did a wonderful job. She was very pleasant to talk to. Enjoyed my experience and would highly recommend to anyone in the area.

A cool vibe, a good selection of beer and some amazing food make this a stand-out spot that’s not to be missed. We had the standard gyro and the fried buttermilk chicken sandwich and a couple stouts (from out-of-state - a surprise given the many local breweries) and it made the afternoon perfect.

Seafood restaurant
Nine Elephants, located on West Market Street, offers an authentic Thai dining experience with fresh and tasty meals. The restaurant provides a perfect atmosphere for various occasions such as date nights, girls' nights out, or family dinners. The hosts greet guests in Thai, adding to the genuine feel of the place. The menu features a variety of dishes including massaman curry and drunken noodles with different spice levels to accommodate varying preferences.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean dining area and clean rest rooms. I ordered a traditional Thai basil with ground beef and it was really good. If you are visiting the corning museum of glass, don't forget to have a meal from here.

So so place I stopped by this restaurant on the way back home from Niagara. My father in law who came from overseas only wanted to have Asian food since he is not familiar with western food. I found this restaurant from Google review but it was not what I expected. Food was way too sweet. Foods were prepared properly but I think chef loves sugar. Foods would have been better if he or she didn't use sugar too much

Absolutely love it here and all the local "elephant" chains. The food is always incredible, and they really know how balance spice and taste. Just be warned that the spice they add is powerful and can really catch you off guard if you're an amateur like me. Regardless, no matter what you get you'll be satisfied. My go to for lunch is Pad Thai with Beef and dinner is any Hot Pot with seafood. Filling, adorable and unique.

This was an amazing experience! We love thai food and heard good reviews of this place. The place is quite nice and the food they serve is beyond amazing! We ordered cajun fries, Chicken Pad thai and Chicken drunken fried rice. All the items were freshly made, hot and delicious. But I would highly recommend the Drunken fried rice. It was mind blowing! Safe to say, this was by far our best thai food experience. All the items were nicely priced and the staff were very friendly. They didn't have parking, but plenty of street parking was available. If you're in the Corning area and wanna try thai, give this place a go. You won't be disappointed!
Sayani Sengupta — Google review
Reminds me of my best friend's mom's cooking who is Thai. I had the massaman curry in mild, which had amazing flavor and just slight tinge of spice, perfect for my inability to handle heat. My boyfriend had the drunken noodles in medium (definitely Thai medium, for people like me that are sensitive to heat that would be at the top of the scale). Drunken noodles had fresh basil and herb taste, which made it taste lighter than it looks. As appetizer we had a papaya salad in mild, which usually at other restaurants is bland when I order it mild, but this was packed full of flavor...taste like they are using a higher quality fish sauce. I wish I lived closer to this restaurant, I would order every week. We will definitely come back our next road trip!

Great little place, seems smaller on the outside. Inside is much more spacious than you would think. Very polite, friendly, and attentive staff. Food was delicious, cooked just right and served hot. Very good selection of meals so I'm sure there is something to fit everyone's taste. If I'm in the area again I will definitely be stopping by to get a bite to eat.

Fantastic food throughout. Pad Thai is savory and the drunken noodles are so good. They really have authentic spicy levels. Highly recommend.

Really great place. I was there the night of the parade of lights. The past 2 years I've been to different restaurants to eat and both were crazy busy and not enjoyable because it was so packed. This year we decided to try Nine Elephants and it was amazing. We were seated immediately, super friendly staff, our drinks and food came pretty quickly too and everything tasted incredible!! I'll definitely be back!!

Nine Elephants was awesome. So much on the menu to choose from. The service was great too. We ordered the crispy duck with curry, one of the best dishes I’ve had. A must try when visiting Corning or the Watkins Glen area.

The fried tofa and chicken satay were great. Loved the peanut oil that came with the tofa. Amazing flavor and heat for the drunk noodles and curry. Milk green tea and thia iced coffee rocked also.

Excellent. Lovely atmosphere. Great selection of food including some unique upscale options such as Lobster Pad Thai. Food taste was very good. Ordered medium spice level which for Asian taste was quite weak so thankfully they brought us picked Thai chilies which were the perfect addition. A great little gem in the town of Corning.

We had an amazing experience at this Thai restaurant, trying thoong thoong, chicken drunken noodles, scallops Cajun fried rice, and Kanom tuy for dessert. Each dish was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. If we're ever back in Corning, we'll definitely plan to visit again.

Ordered lunch for pick up while passing through town. Easy process - food was ready quickly. Drunk noodles were quite tasty - though a bit light on the sauce compared to similar places I've been. Flavors were good though, and the food was hot and fresh. Definitely would stop by again!

My wife and I visited on an October Saturday night after making online reservations. We were seated promptly. Great selection on the menu and we tried the Salmon and Pork Tenderloin. Both entrees were excellent. One other point… the restaurant was not noisy. We were able to have conversations without raising our voices! We will definitely be coming back!

We drove over from Elmira for a birthday dinner. We made a reservation for 7. The place was worm and inviting . Sadly we were placed in the back corner down several step away from the main restaurant. No music or atmosphere. We stared at grey walls . We asked to move but we were told the front tables are reserved already and people give the table numbers when they reserve . So if you make a reservation be sure to specify you want a table in the front in the main dining room. We made the best of it, we ordered the lamb, veal stroganoff, a few drinks, and cream brulee and tarimisu . The food was fantastic . The service was good too.

The Pork loin and Roast duck were cooked to perfection. The waitstaff was shorthanded and the bartender ended up being our waitress. Dinner was great but we never got our salads.

This is by far the best restaurant on the Market St strip. So good, that we ate there twice in a row for dinner. Their veal dish is to die for! Came in for a birthday dinner on a Wednesday and had a great experience. The restaurant was lively but not overcrowded or noisy, service was fast without making us feel rushed, and food was excellent - generous portions and outstanding sauces, especially the roasted garlic demi glace on two of our entrees. When we said we had a birthday cake waiting at home, we were given a free dessert to go! Definitely planning to come back to this place for future special occasions.

Simply put: Great atmosphere, amazing food. Experience: At first me and my grandparents were reluctant to go up to the second floor seating area, but once we did, it was worth it. We had a great view of the streets below, and had great food and good service. My Grandma really liked the wine. Appetizers: I shared the mussel appetizer with my Grandpa, they were cooked well, and the olive bread was good as well. My grandma got the hot and sour meatballs, they were pretty good as well. Main Course: I got the beef tip ravioli, good ravioli, the cheese inside was a bit sweet, and the beef tip and Brussels sprouts complemented it well. The horseradish sauce (in the middle) was amazing and tied it all together. My Grandpa got roasted duck, and my Grandma got the pecan crusted honey glazed pork tenderloin. Dessert: First time I've ever had Creme brulee. Very good, the top layer is almost like a crust, tastes like a caramelized marshmallow, and the inside is like whipped creme. Deadly sweet but delicious. Additional Notes: All the dishes were plated nicely and tasted great. It was a lovely experience, and although it was a bit pricey, I think it was worth it because it's a lot better value than any food you would get at a Fancy chain restaurant like Red Lobster. One of the highlights of my trip in Corning.

Very good meal for New Year's Eve, I had the lamb that was quite tasty and cooked to perfection. My wife had the pork which she said was great especially with the sauce it was in. Calamari was to die for, smoky meatballs were OK, maybe a little overcooked.

Food was absolutely fantastic. It was a bit overpriced for my taste. Just be warned, if you order the $20 side of scallops, you only get 2. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. I did notice instead of changing out table clothes, they just placed a new one over the old one. Some were crooked or had folds in them. They did have axe throwing upstairs. It is projector style and they had some fun games that were a different style of throwing than I'm used to. But overall, the food was top notch. Cocktails were great. the wine list could use a little work.

Cugini Italian Cafe & Market is a nice place to grab a quick bite to eat. They have a good selection of Italian dishes, all reasonably priced.
Cuong Lieu — Google review
1st time at cugini's and I was very disappointed 😞. The sandwiches very disappointed not much of anything on it. There was 2 slices of turkey on 1 sandwich. My husband had a panini sandwich and it had almost nothing on it and it was $13 and change. The chicken Caesar salad had chicken that looked like it was days old. It was dry and hard as a rock. The dressing was delightful but I just couldn't eat the salad with the chicken on it. We all went away hungry and disappointed.
Christina Cunningham — Google review
Stopped in today for the first time to get lunch. I ordered a chicken Caesar salad and my boyfriend ordered a chicken parm sub. He liked his sub and would order again. It looked delicious. However, my salad left a lot to be desired. The chicken was greasy and seemed either old or cooked in too much oil. The grease from the chicken made the salad wet and there was a pool of liquid on my plate. It honestly was not appetizing at all. We also bought a slice of apple pie to share and upon eating it at home realized it is freezer burnt. $5 for a slice of pie that we threw away. Maybe pizza is the way to go. Not sure if we will return when there are more consistently good places to eat downtown.

Went in and ordered a 10” pizza and spaghetti with just butter (no meat, no sauce) for my two children. There was only one couple at the table already eating when I ordered my food. I waited over 35 minutes for my order. My 9 year old said “Mom, there were people who came after us who received their food before us.” I said “I noticed.” I politely asked the staff about how much longer was the wait. They added an additional 5-7 minutes yet continued to bring out food for guests who arrived after us. Very nice staff but they moved with no sense of urgency. The atmosphere is almost too relaxed. The pizza was also flavorless. I paid over $30 (way overpriced) for that food. I also left a tip beforehand for a takeout order. I won’t make that mistake again.

Extremely welcoming and a beautiful location, highly recommend! The pizza and lasagna are both fantastic, and each dish is clearly made with care. Friendly staff make this a great place for a family meal. I look forward to returning!

Delicious Italian pizzas, subs, and other foods. I've never had anything here that I didn't absolutely love! I wish they were open on Sundays because that's when I'm usually going out for lunch. This is a top pick on the occasions when I go out mid-week, though. The staff is very friendly, I only took 1 star for service because I usually end up waiting longer than most places. The food is well worth the wait, but if I have somewhere I need to be, I usually won't stop here just because I can't be sure I'll have time to eat and not be late.

Early dinner-4:00pm-to go. Ordered Italian (had a fancy name:) and a Philly style cheese steak. Both very dry(forgot the Mayo we asked for) and meat/veg to bread ration, way off. Ordered the lemon dessert to go, and it was better than the subs. Not a good value.

Came to Corning for the Wineglass Marathon weekend and had dinner both nights at Cuginis. We really liked it last year and we're eager to go back. It's solid food with a relaxed atmosphere. Pizza and pasta were both spot on. Saturday night was incredibly busy because of race participants and things were going slow. The staff handled the entire situation the best they could, trying to appease many disgruntled customers. I don't know why the runners couldn't understand but I was amazed how rude they were to staff. Bravo to the entire crew!

Don’t call yourself a cafe if the owner will kick customers out for trying to study there quietly. There was an abundance of space but the owner and staff rudely kicked my friend and I out for studying upstairs when we were being very polite and quiet, not to mention paying customers. Owner said in order to continue studying there, we would have to make additional purchases despite already spending $80+. They’re very rude and lost potential weekly customers

Great eats. For the people on here, complaining about it being slow, grow up, I went in there during lunchtime, and there was one person working on deli , and one person working in the back on the pizzas - obviously your order is going to come out a little slower than usual - they cook everything fresh to order, and the employees only have two hands. I’m appalled by the people in these reviews. They have great food, great staff, and a clean restaurant.

It is a very spacious Italian restaurant/store. The wait and service here was good. The food however was spectacular. The proportions were big but the taste enable us to look past the size. It is also a shop and there are many Italian foods and drinks. If we are ever in Corning again I would love to come back!

Well prepared food with “adult beverage” options. Food was served quickly and it was tasty. Sit upstairs for a different ambiance.

Really enjoy the layout and menu. Seating is nicely spaced. Food portions are adequate and prices are reasonable. Definitely will return.

Nice bar/restaurant. Decent food, decent prices. I'd go there again if in Geneva.
