Just returned from the annual Yorktown Wine Festival of 2021.. it was a pretty nice event but it was sold out and way too crowded, long lines in front of the wine booths, not enough parking spaces available but other than that it was phenomenal ...excellent wine and out of this world food, fried oysters, homemade clam chowder, and shrimp. Just unbelievable, a wonderful time enjoyed by all!!

SO beautiful! My Partner and I came here for the first time last night and had such a great time looking at the homes, walking the Riverwalk and visiting all the shops. Absolutely recommend coming here and it looks beyond remarkable towards sunset!

Really nice place to take a walk along the York River. A few sandy beaches for hanging out and swimming in the summer. Public restrooms and picnic tables along a paved walkway. I come here a few times a year. Nice public fishing pier.

WOW - this is such a GREAT place to visit! Free parking was a BONUS! ALL the HISTORY! A fantastic beach and great views of the river! We need to remember to visit more often

A lot of stores were closed. The beaches were full of sea nettles and fun other creatures for the kiddos! We really enjoyed the dock and walking in the Golden Bamboo Forest nearby. We also seen caves where soldiers hid inside during the Siege of Yorktown. (Cornwallis Cave) would recommend!

Great place to visit. There are numerous little stores, restaurants, Ben and Jerry's Ice cream, a nice beach area and restrooms. There is an outdoor water fountain that has a bottle fill station and pet bowls. There is a bike repair station. A pier that is free to fish off of. A great day trip destination. They also have free outdoor concerts on Thursday nights. There is a wonderful farmers market on Saturdays.

Beautiful place in heart of Yorktown Beach area. There are restrooms here. Many little shops, treats, and places to sit. Gorgeous flowers and all around great place to go when exploring Historic Yorktown

A wonderful place to visit. A few shops to look in at the Beach, as well as places to eat. They have Wheelchair accessible parking, however, wheelchairs and walkers are VERY difficult to maneuver within all the shops.

The Riverwalk area is absolutely beautiful at sunset, and the food at Water Street Grille was delicious. Perfect spot to celebrate our 20th anniversary. I appreciated very much that the menu labels which options are gluten free. The cocktails were really good, too! If I have any complaints, I would say that the stools at the bar height tables are not comfortable for a short person. I'm 5'1" and my legs just dangled the whole time because my feet didn't reach the foot rest. Not a big enough deal to take a star off my rating, but next time we'll definitely ask for a regular table for my sake.

First time visiting with my bestie, Meshell, and cousin Mia. YORKTOWN BEACH WAS AMAZING! Beautiful landscape with clear and calm waters. This place has little quaint shops to peruse, as well as long cobblestone pathways to get your steps in all around the area while learning about historical info along the way! Lovely!

Small beach but great place to chill and relax. The riverwalk was well landscaped and with lots on bench to relax and enjoy the day. Free Toll rides around Yorktown.

So cute and fun. Amazing vendors. The riverfront beach is pretty. Rocky so wear water shoes if you plan to wade in the water. We loved watching the reenactment band

Located on the Chesapeake Bay, you can enjoy the beach without any worries about traffic or people around. I was able to go with my family and we had a great time.

Me and my family love driving the 60 minute drive from Chester to enjoy this small white sand beach for the day. It's nice and quiet and the water is calm. There's also small shops near by as well as a couple of restaurants in walking distance. They have a bike self repair station and a a water fountain including bowls for your fur family members. The bathrooms on the walkway in front of the beach are always clean which is a plus in my family's book. They have outside concerts on Thursdays and a market on Saturday mornings. A great place to visit. We encourage everyone who wants a beach day without all the hustle and bustle of the beach to visit Yorktown beach.

So in love with Yorktown. My meditation spot. The atmosphere is surreal. Rich in history. Absolutely stunning views. What's not to love? (H💚ME) Photo's are of Yorktown National Cemetery / Battlefield. My daughter and I walked the battlefield and had a memorable day.
Robyn Waring — Google review
The visitor center and battlefield are amazing to see from a historical perspective but as attractions go, it was lacking. The flow of the building itself distracted from what the theme of the visitor center was trying to establish. I'd love to see more focused exhibits help transition visitors through smoother. Still a great visit if you are even remotely interested in history.
Shane McGuirt — Google review
Ah, the historic Yorktown Battlefield, a gem of American history. The site where pivotal moments unfolded during the Revolutionary War. The meticulously preserved grounds transport you back in time, allowing you to relive the courage and determination of those who fought for independence. The interpretive exhibits provide a comprehensive understanding of the siege of Yorktown, showcasing the military strategies employed by both American and French forces. Walking the earthworks and standing on the battleground, one can't help but feel a profound connection to the past. The attention to detail in preserving the historical accuracy of buildings and landscapes is commendable. The visitor center offers a wealth of information, complemented by knowledgeable staff ready to answer any questions. As a history enthusiast, I appreciate the immersive experience the Yorktown Battlefield offers. It's not just a collection of artifacts; it's a living testament to the sacrifices made for freedom. Whether you're a seasoned historian or just curious about America's roots, a visit to Yorktown Battlefield is a journey through time that's both educational and moving.
Digital Sparks — Google review
Amazing experience walking the same grounds our founder and forefather fought for our country! My husband and I did the driving tour. Made super easy and user friendly with the app. The staff made the directions very clear for having the best experience and making the most of our time here. Great experience! Wonderful staff.
Cynthia Lopez — Google review
Large battlefield that can be walked and driving trails. Visitor Center offers a 15 min video on history of the battlefield, has a small museum, and National Parks gift shop. Near the Yorktown waterfront.
Josh Hollinger — Google review
The visitor center provides a great introduction to the battle/siege of Yorktown. Then, the driving tour provides a good exposure to what the battlefield probably looked like. Redoubt 9/10 is the best stop, but I'd recommend doing the driving tour stopping at the second siege line, Redoubt 9/10, the Moore House, and surrender field at a minimum. Make sure you pick up the park brochure to compliment the specific driving tour signs to help you navigate to the stops.
Gary Klein — Google review
Very cool to see the history and let kids run around. I see no need to pay even though we did. Paying got you inside the small museum. They did have some of George Washington's stuff he really uses in there but the cool part was driving to the different locations. Very easy to do
Jay P — Google review
Battlefield tour is amazing. Be sure to take the encampment tour as well. All at your own pace by car and aided by the app. Take the time to get out at each stop and take it all in!
Joe Williams — Google review
We had a great experience! Right next to the beach and we were able to capture drone shots and panoramic shots of the statue! Great place to take in the history of this nation and was a crucial turning point in our society. Great place to meet people , food, and to get away with the family and have a peaceful time.
Loren Bagley — Google review
The Yorktown National Battlefield Park tells the story of the concluding confrontation of the Revolutionary War. The installation in the Visitors Center is interesting and educational. The driving tour of the battlefield is also a great view of the ground where the siege occurred and how the English lost. Definitely download the Yorktown app since the narration is very helpful. The colonial town also gives you the sense of what the grounds were like in that era. It's much less touristy than nearby Williamsburg and much less crowded. The memorial is also a nice place to stop.
Millie Kwan — Google review
Small visitor center. Has public bathrooms, trolley stop, parking and you can buy Yorktown Battlefield tickets there. Kids 15 & under and Former/Current military are free. Seniors are discounted. Everyone else is $15. Small museum at visitors center. Cannot buy multi-attraction tickets here.

It was a great place to learn about the Revolutionary War and what role Washington and Cornwallis played. It sent chills down my body when I was reading about Cornwallis's surrender and what effect that had on the outcome of the war. Amazing! The entire region is a vast wealth of history. Highly recommended to all who value freedom over tyranny! Thank a veteran!
bk hurst — Google review
Love the history here. I like the flow of the presentations and descriptions of life on the colonies, the struggle for freedom, and how it affected every person living there. If you are a history nut, give yourself time to walk, read, and listen to the displays and rangers. Going back today to take family on the driving tour.
Marty Hogan — Google review
What an amazing job they have done at the Yorktown Battlefield and Visitors Center! The National Parks locations are always top-notch! So impressive. They do a great job honoring our history! So much to see and learn in Yorktown. I wish I had more time to spend in the great museum and gift shop. I did find two shirts in the shop priced better than in other historic locations. The driving tour was great and even better with the National Parks app audio guide. Yorktown is a must-see for any history buff! I highly recommend it!
Jason Sargent — Google review
Self driving tour to go view the actual siege of Yorktown, like the mounds that was built along with the redoubts. The visitor center is worth some time to learn more about the siege and how it all built up to that moment to end the war.
Kyle Johnson — Google review
I went during the maritime heritage and sea shanty festival. It was a lot of fun and there were lots of pirates! Many groups were performing, and there were local artists with booths as well. It wasn’t actually in the center but rather down the street and around Yorktown. Parking was a bit cramped but other than that it was a blast!
Alex Lichty — Google review
Gorgeous place to spend quality family time. Parking and trolley 🚎 are free, so you can park in one spot and enjoy the ride around town. If you're going to the beach, you can't park inside the parking garage, but you can go either to the top floor or any other open parking.
Eric Montalvo — Google review
The last time I was here was during the pandemic & the Visitor Center was closed...so happy things are back to normal. The rangers are very informative. We listened to a ranger's 1-hour talk...he was fantastic! I highly recommend the talk! It was really hot, so the normal walk that goes along with the talk was very brief & we stayed mostly in the shade. The museum has some nice artifacts & displays & a short film. There are 2 sets of bathrooms & 2 water bottle filling stations (1 was out of order). From the Visitor Center, you can take a free trolley or take a short walk to historic Yorktown & the waterfront. There's also a driving tour accompanied by an app called "Yorktown Tour Guide" by American Battlefield Trust. The battlefield tour is 2 parts. The first part has more to see & reasons to get out of the car. The second part is a longer drive with less to actually see...besides beautiful fields & trees. The ride is pleasant. 😊

This park preserves the original battlefield of the final war of the revolution, the conflict between General George Washington and General Cornwallis of the British army. A video presentation is available on the campus and a motor trail, approximately 13 miles long, tours the area where the American and French troops were fortified against the British. The fortified earthen embarkments (called redoubts) are visible along the tour. An app is available for download that narrates the tour. It is well worth the time and effort to tour the area.

Institution devoted to the craft & history of Revolutionary War watermen plus boat-building classes.
We were spending a couple of days in Yorktown and found this gem on Tripadvisor. The museum is small but inexpensive, and we went through it fairly quickly. The big plus of our visit was when we met Bubba in the ship building shed. He spoke to us about the museum, and about how he got interested in archaeology, which made an impression on my recently graduated 18 year old daughter. We also wandered around the site, saw the little booths near the windmill, and took pictures of the windmill itself. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and Bubba had a lot to do with it. Thanks, Bubba!

The Museum is small; perfect for kids and people who might not want to tour a large historical site. They have a wonderful folk jam that meets weekly in the warmer months.

Small museum, but very interesting. The highlight for us was watching the model ship building process and talking with the staff!
Abigail Kaucher — Google review
This museum is a hidden gem! We were the only ones in the place most of the time while we were there and the gentleman there was extremely friendly. He explained to us a lot of history of the Chesapeake Bay and Captain John Smith (no, the real one) and Blackbeard and all sorts of other info about the area around Yorktown and the Watermen's history. All of that (and more) is there and scores of model ships that are made in the museum. Also, since I am in the military, I showed him my ID card and got in for free. This was a great experience!

Director of education Mike was a great source of info. Thank you for letting us into the windmill and wood shop. We will definitely be back again soon!

Great little museum of the history of the Yorktown area. First floor viewing only, but full of artifacts. Friendly and courteous staff small admission fee.

It was a quaint museum with lots of information about vessels and the area's maritime history. Very interesting. Stopped by during the pirate day and it was free so I figured I'd stop by. Unless you really like boats I wouldn't pay the admission fee. The size of the museum and the niche really isn't worth spending money on.

Located in Yorktown, the Yorktown Pub is a casual and laid-back establishment offering a variety of pub-style fare and fresh seafood dishes. Guests can enjoy scenic views of the historic York River while indulging in locally caught seafood such as back-fin crab, jumbo lump crab, oysters, and clams from nearby rivers. The pub also features live music and provides a relaxed setting for patrons to savor their meals or enjoy a refreshing drink.
A local told me “you cannot spend too much money there.” Well, we tried! We ordered just about everything on the menu, and it was great. The selection of local beers and ciders was fantastic and affordable. The specials were written on the chalk board. If you have a chance, definitely get the fried pickles or the side of zucchini. Fresh fish and shrimp!

Very popular place to stop along Water Street in Historic Yorktown. Well stocked bar and wide food selection with specials offered. Service and food was outstanding and staff was attentive despite being so busy. This is more like a sports bars and the dishes are pretty traditional however, everything is fresh, made to order and high quality. Definitely worth your time to check out if in the area while visiting the colonial sites, the beach area or just because you want good food.

I came here on a Sunday for lunch and it was not as crowded as you’d think. The pub is right along the beach. It’s kids friendly and lots of parking. The food was phenomenal!! I ordered the clam chowder and fried oysters (half portion). The prices and portion size was appropriate which was surprising for such good quality and taste. I’d 10/10 highly recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood.

What a great spot along the york River! The staff was very nice and attentive The food was very reasonably priced, and absolutely delicious. I had to try the chili, and im glad I did; it didnt disappoint. very good! My wife ordered the seafood gumbo, and said the same. We both also ordered grilled cheese and potato skins. A great lunch, for a good price, in a wonderful setting I highly recommend

first time ever been in the area Newport News is a very interesting place to hang out and eat right here on the beach was really awesome we decided because there was no parking to park at Yorktown park and eat there the atmosphere was pretty good chairs were so close to each other that people coming in and out would bump into your back or push you so that was a little irritating TV sets everywhere with the fight on and was very entertaining if you drink there was plenty of alcohol to be had if you don’t drink like us everything was no problem wasn’t like it was some kind of crazy discotheque or something like that real neat that it’s right here on the beach. Food was good drinks were good everyone had a great time great meal

Delicious seafood on the water. The seafood platter was just what I needed, my wife's crab cake sandwich was fantastic, and our kids loved their burgers. Even the local hazy beer was perfect. We'll be back!

Love this place. Local oysters are cold and sweet and their menu leaves Noone unhappy. The beach out front let's the kids play in the sand while the adults can enjoy an extra drink....(while they keep a close eye on them)

New England clam chowder - sooo good! My husband had the prime rib sandwich. Cooked exactly how he wanted it, tender as prime rib should be, a very satisfying sandwich. I had a half order of fried shrimp. Right off I could tell the quality of the shrimp. We have added this as a "go to" when we're in the area!

I hate leaving 3-star reviews, but unfortunately, we didn't have the best experience eating here. The atmosphere is fantastic, and if you sit by the window, the view is great. However, only half our food was good. The Jalepeno Cheese Curds and the Fish and Chips were good, but Fried Combination Seafood Platter was terrible (the shrimp was decent). The bartender and the staff that greeted us at the door were awesome, but our waitress was impatient and extremely rude. I rarely complain about service and try to be understanding - especially when it's busy - but it's worth mentioning because it did impact our experience. Maybe we will try this place again to see if it was just a dud of a meal (like I said, some of our food was good), but it won't be anytime soon.
K Meenan — Google review
Great food for the price. Not many other restaurants in this area but reviews were decent so decided to give it a try while visiting Yorktown visitor center and battlefield. The drinks were good, decently priced and good selection of bourbon. The clam chowder on a cold day was PERFECT. Staff was friendly despite how busy they were that afternoon.

Large portions, food was fresh & tasted great! The wait staff was hustling but stayed on top of everything. Inside was refreshingly cool considering it was oppressively hot outside. With picturesque views of the York River, the Coleman Bridge, and Gloucester Point, it's an ideal setting for a relaxing dining experience.
The hamburger my wife had was outstanding. She substituted a side salad for the fries and was very happy with it as well! I had the 3 meatball appetizer and the Mediterranean salad -- both ample portions and very delicious! The service was outstanding and the price very reasonable.

Another hidden gem if you're looking for a restaurant near water. This restaurant had a very calm and polite atmosphere. We visited on a Sunday evening around 6pm so we did have to wait a little longer for a table indoors. There was less of a wait for the tables out on the patio. We didn't mind the wait as we were able to walk along the pier and beach and embrace the view. The food was amazing! We enjoyed the Lemon Pesto Chicken and the Fish and Chips the portions of each dish was just right! We can't wait to visit again as there were so many more options on the menu we would like to try. The view surrounding the restaurant is breathtaking, however you should not feel the need to dress up.The restaurant also has a bar in the center with tvs, for anyone who would like to enjoy a few beers, cocktails, and sports. 🙂

The atmosphere was nice and the wait was not very long for being a Saturday afternoon. The Mac n' cheese egg rolls were delicious and so was the fish and chips! The meatball sub was good and enormous, the brunch burger was also just good but nothing to get excited about. The clam chowder was good but when I got it was only slightly warm. All in all a good experience but a little pricey for what you get.

Great spot for a relaxing lunch by the river. It was fairly crowded for a Monday i though, just shows they are doing good things in my mind! Sat at the bar so we didn’t have to wait for a table. They had a good selection of beers and we tried a 5 beer “flight”. The Caesar salad looked awesome, but I’m not a fan of having to cut and mix my own romaine lettuce head. The crab cake appetizer was great, a little small but hey, I did say the appetizer. The Freaky Greek pizza was awesome! In all a solid 4 star lunch spot, will return for a dinner stop to try some of their awesome looking entree options!

Great selection of excellent foods plus very attentive service; the drinks & beer selections are excellent & for all the food you get it’s not really more $ than elsewhere. The view is amazing; we went before one of the summer concerts & plan to go this coming week with out of state company! It’s very clean, hospitable, you’re not rushed; just delightful!

Super nice staff. Great location. Great view from the outside sitting. Food was good in general. Calamari was delicious and enough to share with all family members. Clam chowder was salty and not much clam meat in it. Steak salad was great. Shrimp Taco was OK.

Went for late lunch with a friend and sat on the closed in patio bc it had been raining. Our server was great and really nice. The Mac and cheese egg rolls are by far the best appetizer. I was bummed they got rid of the Scallops Casino appetizer when they introduced their new menu a couple weeks ago. Instead, I got the scallops entree which was delish and my friend got the shrimp tacos that also were good. It's a little costly but not terrible. And the atmosphere on the beach is great.

I saw this restaurant online. I thought it would be a good place for my anniversary outing. It looks different in person( there was a bar in the middle). We first ordered fried zucchini appetizer. The batter they used didn't stick to the zucchini and it needed more salt. Next we ordered potato soup. I think they used mashed potatoes because of the texture plus it needed more seasoning. I bought a side of potato hash( it sounded good). It was cubes of frozen potatoes and onions. They said the difference between hash and fried potatoes was the hash seasoning. I tried it but didn't eat it. It cost $7. The last thing we got were the meatball appetizer. That was very good. They forgot the bread but when they brought it it was so good. It was parm focaccia.

Excellent place to eat. We set outside the waitress was Julia and she was wonderful Pleasant happy and everything was perfect. We had macaroni and cheese egg rolls and fish tacos both were superb I recommend the mac and cheese egg rolls anytime. Just remember they're hot and can burn your mouth. Only downside was the reception we got from the hostess when we came in, she acted just like she didn't want to be there.

We found ourselves walking through Yorktown around lunch time along the bay so we popped in to Water Street Grille. Macy was a great server very helpful and attentive. The view was spectacular. We ate outside on the patio. Unfortunately, so did these teeny tiny little gnats. They were awful and they were constantly present. I am not faulting the restaurant but I have never really seen this many bugs during a meal - ever. We were constantly smacking or squishing these little insects. We had a table for four and ordered two shrimp scampi, an Uncle Chip’s Fish Fry and a Whole Fried Fish (traumatizing to look at) but, thankfully I didn’t have to stare into its eyes…. My friend did, though; she finally got tired of staring down into her husband’s meal and covered the face. 😳. I realize, the fish’s presentation was something to see, but not my thing. Surprisingly, at “market price” for the fish, his meal was the most cost effective - who knew?🤷‍♀️ I had the shrimp scampi . It was very good; I would definitely order it again, but OMG, the butter. It was swimming in it. My husband’s meal was the fish fry. He regretted his order and said he wished he had gotten the pasta. It just was not filling for him. The coleslaw was quickly left behind after one taste. Amazing to me how many different ways there are to prepare coleslaw. And neither male half ate their potato side. My husband and I ordered the cherry cobbler but took it to go. I was really excited for it, and it was good but more cobbler than cherry. The cobbler was very tasty and buttery, just wish the ratio was more even. I know, I know… cannot please everyone. 😊

Day 1 of 3 was a shot in the dark. Wanted sushi nearby but they were closed so tried WSG. Best shot in the dark this trip! Service was super friendly and attentive. We asked for patio seating but wasn’t available when we first arrived getting cleaned up from a big party previous night. Manager noted that and about 15 minutes later when the patio was ready, she offered us seating and about 3 staff helped to move all our drinks and appetizers. Great view from the patio and fun to watch the Coast Guard making their rounds. My wife liked the Tuna BLT so much we returned the next day. Pricing is standard for the new inflation norm. Good choices of craft beers. IPAs were worth getting again. #3 my fav, #13 my wife’s fav. Days 2 and 3 of 3 we tried something new but my wife went back to the Tuna BLT day 3 and was just as delicious.

I'm not sure what's better -- the food or the service. We had fried mozzarella, she-crab soup, patty melt and fish n chips. Every single thing was outstanding. And the service from Alyssa was equally amazing. You can bet we'll be back!

I recently Brought my cousins visiting from upstate New York. We were treated with excellent courtesy, and offered an opportunity to sit in a sheltered outdoor setting with a lovely view. She took many pictures for us, and everything that we tasted from the little shrimp tacos to the meatballs of some sort that my cousin’s wife had were just fresh and delicious! I’ve been happy with food & attentive service when I’ve taken other friends and relatives that visited. Their service and attention to our meals and us has always been exceptional & it seemed like they even toned or turned down the music just a bit. It wasn’t busy that time of day and that was actually about 1130 on a Tuesday morning and it had just turned warm, so the whole experience was excellent & so much attention given to making sure that everything was just right. I would highly recommend this place again and will be back soon with more family traveling.

Perfect place for a date night. Between the views, the service, and the food, i couldn't have asked for a better time. Sunshine was the best. She made our experience soo much better.

Barbecue restaurant
County Grill & Smokehouse offers a selection of bar food and BBQ, accompanied by a rotating assortment of craft beers. The establishment's interior features a charming blend of brick and wood. It has maintained its popularity over the years, although some changes may have occurred since its inception. However, the restaurant has consistently served delicious food that remains unchanged. Adorning the walls are numerous trophies showcasing their victories in various culinary competitions, validating their exceptional quality.
This is the first time eating here and it was amazing. We were quickly seated and had ice tea in front of us in 5 minutes. I had the smoked Reuben, and my friends had the brisket sandwich. They were hit and fresh and served with a smile. One of the 2 sides I got was the warmed potato salad. Outstanding! Our waitress was out standing and I highly recommend this place for good BBQ!

Great service from very friendly staff considering they were extremely busy in a place set to hang out and enjoy time with friends. There’s plenty of free parking so there’s no reason not to go. The food is decent although I think the flavors are off. My Reuben seemed a bit salty although the flavor itself was good. The collard greens had no flavor so I didn’t finish them and the roasted vegetables were so so. My wife’s ribeye was cooked well and was flavorful but she wasn’t keen on her potato salad.

Everything our table ordered was very good. Crayons and a big sheet of white paper for the 3 year old and I, kept us busy until the food came (along with a side of fries). I had the burger special for the day with two sides, collards and roasted vegetables. Everyone else had some type of smoked entree and really enjoyed it. Smokehouse sandwich, pulled pork sandwich and some type of pulled pork egg rolls. Everyone enjoyed the meal.

Outstanding! First time at this location. We told them we were in a hurry, which isn't ideal at a BBQ place but they provided outstanding quick service. 1/2 chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The pulled port shoulder melted in my mouth and was a generous portion. Homemade Mac&cheese, mashed potatoes and seasoned fries were all handmade and delicious. This is a new top lunch dinner restaurant on the Peninsula when we travel nearby for soccer. I can't think of any way they could improve

This is place is always a hit! Every time I'm back in town and/or have family or friends with me, I go here. Great reactions from them every time. The food is always great and the staff is always nice.

My party was greeted upon arrival. Amanda was very knowledgeable about the menu. We ordered egg rolls, pick 3 and 2 side salads. It was enough for the both of us and we had some to take home.

This place has been one of my favorites for as long as I can remember. It might have changed a little bit since I was a kid but the menu has always had the same good food! There are dozens of trophies that represent them winning food competitions on the walls for proof! It might seem a little expensive if you look at the menu online but you get a ton of food. The staff is always nice, there's always a lot of them, and there are a bunch of different sauces you pick for your meats. Love this place and can't recommend it enough!

Don't let the location/outside fool you. Some of the best BBQ is inside this smokehouse. They have multiple BBQ sauces for every pallet! The fries are excellent. All of it was wonderful. We wish we had saved room for dessert too! We will absolutely make this a staple when we are in the area.

Nice family restaurant. There are plenty of menu items to choose from. Visited for a family dinner. Our waitress, Makayla, (Mac) was awesome. She did not miss a beat! The prices were reasonable. Good place , good food. Nice sized portions of food to eat alone or to share. Great desserts!

Visited here from out of town and it was definitely worth the stop! The corn bread muffins and brisket were both amazing. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is very nice. We will absolutely be stopping here again in the future.

One of the best BBQ places in Virginia. Absolutely go. Everything is great and you'll be so full. I had the Mississippi Peacemaker and the smoked sausage was so juicy and crisp.

For many years I’ve gone to County Grill & Smokehouse and they always come through with absolutely delicious meals! I mostly get the ribs but have had many other menu items and they never disappoint. I’ve held Military Unit lunches here and everyone enjoys it. Most weren’t aware of the restaurant and become amazed on how great the food is here. When I have friends and family visit I always bring them here and they just love the BBQ taste and Smokehouse flavor. The atmosphere is great and the staff has always been helpful and kind. I absolutely recommend County Grill & Smokehouse!

The pork was great. The two appetizers for $26 were awful. 8 stuffed shrimp, cooked way to long no taste and texture the of leather. The side: Collared greens terrible, mostly stems thick as a sharpie pen. Salad was huge, but it should be because they charged an extra $2, yet it was a side that they said comes with the combo. Banana pudding has a great presentation, yet hardly any bananas or cookies that normally go in Banana pudding. The service was great!

Went for a work lunch. My food was very good as usual. My only complaint was that my ribs were mostly bones with very little meat. Our server dis an amazing job. I had the opportunity to try appetizers that I never thought to order and they were actually my favorite part of the meal.

Steak house
Texas Roadhouse is a vibrant steakhouse that offers American cuisine with a Southwestern twist, all within a Texas-themed ambiance. It is highly regarded as the best steak restaurant in terms of value for money, as their prices are reasonable for every item on their menu. Their dinner deals from Monday to Thursday until 5 p.m. are particularly noteworthy, such as the sirloin steak dinner priced at $9.99! The staff is consistently friendly and well-informed about their food offerings.
Outstanding! The food was even better than usual. The Ribs are fall off the bone and super moist. Steaks were cooked perfectly. Salad fresh and well-made. If I had to pick on something I would say if someone orders cheese on their mashed potatoes they should melt the cheese not put cold shredded cheese on hot potatoes. Everything else was beyond good. Our server was spot on.

Very happy of the experience, when I saw my meal I wanted to hug the server. Was not expecting such a huge order. The wait time was about 50 minutes, we drove 30 miles to eat hear for our wedding anniversary. We were not disappointed. The bill was $56. I am happy with spending this for 2 adults for a great meal. Waiting time plus time to eat we spent about 2 hours. We spent $6 for sweet tea and did not require a refill😊. The hot rolls were delicious. We will be going back

First time here and LOVED it . I had a direct view of the kitchen and the man working the grill was amazing ! So efficient and fast . Our waitress was a sweetheart and very attentive . I could have had a whole meal based off of the rolls .. my daughter had steak bites that she enjoyed . I liked my smothered chicken . Green beans were good . Tons of leftovers .. food was not expensive at all !

I love my Southern cuisine. Texas Roadhouse is no exception. I've been a few times in the last few years. Every time I go, I'm impressed. I truly feel. Welcome here, yes, it is a little loud. But that comes with how busy it is. The butter rolls are absolutely delicious. Which they are famously known for. I highly recommend the slab of half ribs. The loaded sweet potato is amazing. The appetizers are great. The first server that came to our table had to Leave But still served our section. Until the next person filled in for her. However, the service was very quick. The food all around was amazing. I only wish we had one in Hampton. We definitely need one. The baby back ribs are so good. You can eat them with a fork. And not even have to get hands involved. The tater skins are really good, too. When I go here I definitely think the ribs are the ticket. Just amazing eating all the way around. The portions are very good, too. I did have a great dining experience. All in all. The prices are very reasonable in my opinion.

A "Go To" Steak House in York County. Always a great steak and the service is fantastic! And don't forget about the hot rolls! 🤯 The only reason my review is 4 🌟 instead of 5 is the baked potato. Skin was tough and potato was dry; detracted from a stellar meal. Not bad, just not on same level as all other food. Will return for more!! Be prepared to "wait for it" 😴

Yesterday I went to this restaurant for the first time. We got there approximately 15mins before opening and they opened up right on time. They’re customer service was excellent. Leo was our waiter and he was pleasant, Inviting, and Patient. Before you are seated they ask you to select your steak. Beautiful cuts to select. Once we were seated we even had a little entertainment from some of the staff that was in the kitchen he was singing and we thought it was wonderful to see the staff full of positive energy. Over all our dining experience was wonderful and the food was delicious we couldn’t it it all so we were happy that we could take the rest home. I will recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a wonderful happy dining experience.

Best steak restaurant for your money. Reasonable prices for every item on the menu. Best dinner deals are Monday thru Thursday until 5 p.m. I like the sirloin steak dinner for $9.99! The staff has always been friendly and knowledgeable about their food items. They sing and line dance to celebrate someone’s birthday. It’s a rare thing for any restaurant to cook the cactus blossom (blooming onion) perfectly, without burning, but TR got it right this time! Use the app to get your place in line before you get there. This is easy to forget, but helps greatly during busy times.

Save yourself some time by downloading the app to join the waitlist before you get there, make sure your whole party is there by the time you get called on. While you wait you can ask for peanuts. The warm bread with the sweet butter is simply the best! Blooming onion is delicious and so is the food. Customer service was great, our waiter always made sure we were well taken care of.

American restaurant
Food Craft is a relaxed and modern eatery located in a shopping plaza, specializing in traditional American breakfast and lunch dishes as well as refreshing cocktails. Despite experiencing a busy Saturday, the wait time for seating was minimal and the service provided by the staff was exceptional. The waitress demonstrated kindness towards patrons, efficiently delivering their meals promptly despite apologizing for any delays. Notably, the French toast garnered praise from customers who expressed their intention to return in order to sample other menu items.
Yes, there is a wait. Yes, totally worth it! Service is always great. Food is outstanding! I've only been for breakfast but I imagine lunch offerings are just as good. Chicken & waffles rock! Corned beef hash perfect with char from flat-top (nice touch most places don't know to do!)

Went on a Saturday morning around 7:30, not very busy. We were sat immediately (there was 2 of us). Food was good, not much wait between ordering time and when it’s brought to your table. They had a great playlist, and the atmosphere is very fast paced, with great staff and a menu with something for everyone! Oh- and did I mention that MIMOSAS ARE $5!!! All. The. Time! I Repeat… $5 MIMOSAS. I’ve had the pineapple and cranberry ones and they are both very good!

OK guys...I'm here at Food Craft. We have been trying to come for months. Finally! So far snoody attitudes and overwhelmed servers. My water had something in it, tea had too many floaties in the bottom. I love blueberry pancakes...there was no flavor, blueberries taste old. Loved the hashbrown chessy casserole, that's it! Do better guys!!! Server rushed us to order, not asking if we want anything else as I was trying to order more...no stars for service. Maybe if we had different service, I'd be fine. Food look good...right, but taste and execution is everything. Them pancakes😔

When your server greets you with a genuine smile and greeting you're bound to have a great experience. Cerea did exactly that. The brunch we had was spot on at a reasonable price. The scotch eggs were perfect and the buttermilk pancakes were rich and so tasty. Highly recommended and we'll be back

I love the food and the service. My favorite server is Madison blonde hair with beautiful blue eyes. I found out today they now have 2 Madison's so I can only describe her. She is very kind and aims to please her customers. Today we tried the steak omelet and the hash brown casserole was excellent. We (my husband) also had the pecan pancakes and blueberry pancakes. Please have a $5 mimosa or bloody Mary and ask for Madison! All the staff is friendly as far as I've seen. They do have many customers but if there is a wait it is worth it.

Wasn't sure what to expect as the name is a little wierd lol We were just looking for a quick breakfast when we wandered in. Immediately it became apparent that this is a sit down restaurant, and a family restaurant. The place was packed, which is a good sign, and the servers walking by with platrs that looked delicious. I'm so glad we stayed! It was a pleasant surprise all around. My burger was actually hearty, and my spouse said her chicken and waffles were huge, "sooo goood." Service was awesome as well. The playlist playing was chill, it's a whole vibe. Will definitely be coming back again.
