Parker Fieldhouse

Mentioned on
Recreation center
Sights & Landmarks
Parker Fieldhouse is a well-maintained facility that offers net practice for cricket, although it may have limited space for fast bowlers and could benefit from additional lighting. The weightlifting area can be dominated by some users, making it challenging for others to access the equipment. Additionally, the facility offers wall climbing classes with a skilled and patient instructor named Cindy. Overall, visitors find the facility clean and easy to navigate with friendly service at the front desk.
This is a very nice facility for parties and meetings. It is clean, well lighted and the staff was helpful. Great job keep up the good work!

This is an excellent facility close to downtown Parker! The gym is slightly smaller than that of the Rec Center, but it has a great array of equipment and tends to be a bit quieter. Staff is great to interact with, and are well-trained to handle normal operations as well as elevated situations. I overstrained here a couple weeks ago and became very lightheaded. I had temporary difficulty balancing while walking, and struggled to hear and speak clearly. Staff members Matt, Ashley, Paul, and Robin were all very quick to my aid and helped me recover. They sat me down, helped me rehydrate, and got me in touch with my emergency contact. The team monitored my condition until I was back to normal and safely picked up. I'm very grateful to the staff that helped me, their rapid response kept me from fainting and getting much worse. I am confident in my safety exercising here and highly recommend others, particularly anyone who doesn't like the feel of big gyms, to try the facility for themselves.
Travis Prince — Google review
Net practice for cricket is avaiable at this location. Very well maintained. The only feedback i have : For fast bowlers , it will cut down ur run up due to limited space. Need for lights for cricket pactice specially when u are not using green or red ball.

We had a great birthday party here. Thank you. They did everything, and it was a great price.

Field house was great. Clean, friendly staff, kids had a great time playing soccer.
Craig Petzinger — Google review
Beautiful facility but it is by far the worst managed place I have ever been to. Ended up pulling my team halfway through the season because it's just not worth it.
Jake B — Google review
Super and amazing place! I would recommend it because it’s a nice place to spend some time with your little ones. Bad thing is that they don’t open on Sundays
Ralph Mullins — Google review
The facility is decent, but the customer service is abysmal. The people running the adult soccer leagues provide absolutely no information to those who register, and are nowhere to be found when they have to be tracked down, for the communication they should have provided. The person running the leagues ignores her emails, and the phone staff is clueless when called, after numerous phone attempts JUST to reach them.

Nice facility ☺️ My son plays inline hockey and he practices here sometimes.
Denise TapiaWatson — Google review
I’m curious what type of qualifications referees need to have before being hired. I witnessed a box lacrosse game last night that got out of control immediately because the refs were not fully aware of the contact rules for youth box lacrosse and did not call anything. Checks above the shoulders, boarding, take out checks and illegal pushes in the back that were never called. Probably the most dangerous game I’ve witness in 45 years of being involved in competitive sports. Shocking
G W — Google review
My son started wall climbing classes with Cindy today. He absolutely loves it. Cindy is phenomenal, so patient with the kids, skilled and so fun! We cannot wait to go back. The facility was very easy to navigate, clean and nice service at the front desk.

Great indoor sports complex! Lots of room to have multiple games of multiple sports at the same time and even a dance. Plus, there's a small workout area.
Gina Putnam — Google review
2021- Jan, Always have parking space when i visit this facility. Toilets are clean.. They do require face mask all the time. The have lots of classes here.. even archery 😅 Staff here are nicer ..
Cindy Rose — Google review
The facility is super clean and affordable . My only complaint is the lift weight area is often dominated by men who think it’s their private work out space. Although I am an older woman, I enjoy lifting weights too and frequently cannot because a few folks utilize the entire area.

Downhill Brewing- Parker

Brewery
Food & Drink
Downhill Brewing is a favorite neighborhood brewery known for its excellent beers and thin-crust pizzas perfect for sharing. The staff is friendly, and there's a small back patio for outdoor seating, making it a great find in the area. The brewery offers surprising flavor profiles in their beers, such as the masters brew which combines lager and IPA.
The blood orange beer is bomb dot com. It’s light, it’s refreshing, and it’s what prompted me to write a review in the hope that it will be kept on draft for all eternity. The golfing/hunting/beer theme is rad. Staff is always helpful and friendly.
Alicia Uhler — Google review
This place is legit! The decor is very cool and the beer variety encompasses lighter and heavier. They even make root beer! Several types of table seating. They were out of the Bavarian pretzels and beer cheese when I was there, I’m hoping they’ll have that at a future visit. The salad I got instead was good. I enjoyed my pizza well enough, I would try a different kind next time though. This is a place I will return to.
A D — Google review
We came here on Saturday night. The Pizza guys are seriously the best. They made are night! You could tell they really care about what they are doing. The guy serving beer was super nice and gave great suggestions. We will be back for sure!
CC — Google review
Absolutely enjoyed my time here!!! Came after a hard week with some classmates and had the best experience. Erica made our time fun and helped us choose the best drinks for us. Atmosphere was great, energy was great and service was even better! Thank you Erica and Downhill staff for a good evening!!!
Cheryl Montoya — Google review
I really enjoyed this place. The pizza was thin and really good. Beer was good. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.
Nate B — Google review
Great beer! I had the Rumble Boxing Parker (fruit punch blonde ale) and I was not disappointed. I came after 8PM, so I was not able to order food, but that just means I had to drink more to fill me up. I would absolutely come back. Good atmosphere, friendly staff, good beer.
Charlie Polenz — Google review
Good vibe. Solid beer selection and tasty thin crust pizza. That's a great business model!

Cool place to grab a pizza and beer. Highly suggest the peanut butter beer 🍺

Born in Cincinnati, but have lived in Colorado for 32 years, walking into Downhill Brewery felt like home. The Who Dey pizza was Delicious! Looking forward to spending more Sundeys here! The staff and clientele were super friendly and the beers are great, too!

How did I not know this gem existed? Great pizza and the pretzels were fabulous. Big fan of the Collision Kolsch! Staff is friendly and laid back. Love the atmosphere. I'll be back!
Kelly Jordan — Google review
Had a great pit stop here. Super busy with locals right at 3. I tried a few beers, all were really good and some had a few surprising flavor profiles, like the masters brew, half lager and half ipa. I did not have the food; however the thin crust pizza looked amazing.
Lauren Hughes — Google review
We are new to the area and this has become our favorite neighborhood brewery! The beers are excellent and so are the pizzas! Thin crust and perfect for 2 to share. The staff is as friendly as can be. There is a small back patio for days when you prefer to be outdoors and bring the dog along. Downhill is a great find!
Michele Dillard — Google review
This place was a lot of fun. Very easy going vibe with an equally easy going staff. The pizza was tasty with a lot of topping choices. They were fast, and the pizza was crispy. The beer was really good, I liked the Melisandre, has great raspberry flavor. Many TVs well placed with all the different games on. Porch seating both in front and back.
DA Stevens — Google review
Awesome neighborhood brewery! Good beer! Sweet weekday specials & events (Treat-YoSelf-Tuesdays, Trivia Wednesdays, St.Pattys festivities)! A great place to grab a beer, a freshly made pizza & watch the game!

H2O'Brien Pool

Public swimming pool
Water & Amusement Parks
H2O'Brien Pool is a water park suitable for children, featuring two slides, a splash pad, and a lap pool. The park also offers amenities such as a snack bar and picnic areas. The facility is well-maintained with attentive lifeguards to ensure safety. Although the seating area can become crowded, there are plenty of friendly people who are willing to share tables.
2022-July. Lots of parking. This facility is outdoor. Staff at the entrance are nice! There were lots of chairs. There are few shades areas. There is a snack bar and restroom. There are little kids area and big kids area. 2 long slides and pool basketball. Lifeguards everywhere. If you get in about 2 hours after opening, all shaded chairs and tables will be taken. People saves tables/chairs for more than the number of people they have. The best thing on this pool is it is heated. Warm enough that you would be ok staying longer in the water. Have fun!
Cindy Rose — Google review
Great pool! Staff is very friendly! Facilities were clean but lots of food and trash on ground by concessions and you could tell the chairs don’t get wiped down much. The lifeguards were attentive and you can tell everyone enjoys working there. The bathrooms and showers were clean and they were all super nice. A great variety with the play area, slides, and pools. Lots of shaded areas and chairs!
Andrea Bennett — Google review
Nicely run, clean water park and pool with lots to do for my 8 and 10yo grandchildren. Lifeguards are alert and observant and there are plenty of them to keep things safe. It can get crowded and covered seating gets tough to find, but everyone is nice and finding someone to share a table with has been easy. For a small local water park, it's a very nice place to spend a few hours. We purchased a season pass and have been here 4 days in a row and grandkids keep wanting to come back. That speaks for itself.
Rick Little — Google review
Nice place and not too expensive if you go for a day. Front desk was staffed by teenagers. Not as issue just didn't have answers to ever question I had but seemed interested in finding the answers
Chris Kurth — Google review
The water features are broken right now so not as fun. There’s not enough shade. Get on line 45 mins-1 hour before they open if you want a spot in the shade. Gets very crowded. We saw a girl struggling in the water and her mom jumped in to help her the lifeguards were clueless someone was drowning. Even after it happened they didn’t blink an eye. There was also a medical emergency while I was there and it took them over 5 minutes to get their “pack” and lifeguard over to help. When the water features work it’s way more fun but watch your kids carefully!
Silver Swanson — Google review
Great pool with slides etc and my daughter completed her 2nd triathlon here in 2022. Great spot for families in Parker that don't have a community pool or are looking for slides and splash zones for their kiddos.
Shad McCarthy — Google review
Fun water park. They have lockers available. They do have a snack bar but be aware it is truly just snacks (chips, candy, etc.). Two big slides which are fun. There is no "deep end" here. The main pool area is mostly about 3'6". My niece loved it!
Becky Onifer — Google review
We arrived about 10 minutes before they opened, line was starting to get long. When we got in to pay, we were told that the main water feature is not working and our entrance fee would be discounted because of that. They proceeded to charge full price which I realized shortly after. I suggest updating the website or putting out a sign saying that the water feature is down. Many family's go specifically for that water feature.
Craig Petzinger — Google review
Wonderful place to bring the kiddos in the summer. They have waterslides for advanced swimmers and smaller slides for the younger swimmers. There is a fun splash structure and fountains to keep kids of all ages entertained for hours! There is a lap pool and open swim areas too. There are a lot of lounge chairs, some are available in shaded areas. It gets busy, so plan on getting there early if you have seating preferences. They have a snack bar, locker rooms, and life jacket rentals. I love that they open an hour early for toddler/baby play at the pool. No fountains and no big kids create a calmer experience for tiny swimmers. We'll definitely be back!
Erica Lawlor — Google review
Great place to take your kids for a day of fun in the water. The bigger water slides are perfect for the kids who are a bit older and it is a nice environment. The price is perfect for a 2-3 hour trip out. Concession bar available but you can bring your own food and drink in.
Sally O — Google review
My toddler had so much fun here this summer. Between 9 and 10 am only families with kids five and under are allowed to play at the kiddie water park while swim lessons and lap swimmers use the main pool. This was great being able to get started early with the extra hot days we’ve had!
Sarah Weller — Google review
Clean and busy. Make sure you have set up your parker rec account before entering. It saves time. Outside food is allowed. Bathrooms are clean. The summer pass is worth the money.
Jeanne Johnson — Google review
This place is absolutely fantastic!! I took my 3 small kids (under 3) and they didn’t want to leave! I wish they had more umbrellas for shade around the chairs but honestly we were in the water the whole time anyways. The little kids area has two slides which was so fun for the kids.
Daytona Bradley — Google review
Love coming here for a great pool experience. The slides are fun and the children's play area is always great for the littles. The only negatives are that you can't have your child take a swim test for the slides it's only based on height which isn't so great for my short kids who are on competitive swim team and the last time we went they didn't have all their water features turned on which was a bummer. Overall it is a blast and we will definitely be there again!

Museums
Vehicle Vault is a modern museum that houses rare and unique automobiles from all around the world. It provides an excellent event venue for weddings, parties, and corporate events. The space is stylish and loved by many due to its vintage car displays which are perfect for entertainment while guests enjoy their cocktails and food. Vehicle Vault's team, including Mac, Meagan, and Erin make planning stress-free for the event planner.
We went on a whim and was pleasantly surprised at the great collection and conditions of the automobiles, more people should go. The displays are not overly cramped where you can't take pictures of individual cars. I would say Vehicle Vault is like a hidden gem.
Judith Yamamoto — Google review
Vehicle Vault was a pleasure to work with for SolarTac's holiday party in early December. We had a small group of people and the staff were extremely helpful throughout all of the planning and day of logistics. Everyone LOVED the cars as well as the space! I highly recommend Vehicle Vault to anyone looking for a small to medium-sized venue with an added feature for car fanatics and the like!

It took me way too long to post this, but I was struggling to find the words to describe the incredible staff that take this awesome venue to the next level. Excellent selection of cars. Great open space for a big or small event. And the staff blew me away. They were organized, professional, and made our special day absolutely perfect. Thank you, Vehicle Vault Staff, especially Meagan and Mac!!

Excellent vehicle vault . Parker Colorado. Excellent event last night. Great people great staff. The food and hors d'oeuvres were amazing. Excellent auctions for great causes led to over $100,000 in donations last night. Excellent for if you want to possibly use for events for your company. Highly recommended. These are all the cars you grew up learning about in front of your face. But what more could you want?

We went during the Espresso and Exhaust event the 2nd Saturday of the month. It is an awesome presentation of cars and trucks and a good description at each vehicle. It is set up in a well layed out Gallery style.

We chose this venue for a retirement party. Was a hit! Thank's again. So many amazing cars.

We hosted a company Holiday party at Vehicle Vault in early December. Working with Mac, Meagan, and Erin was so easy and they made it such an amazing experience. Our company loved the space and being able to walk around with cocktails and food while looking at vintage cars made it even more fun! Highly recommend renting this space for any wedding, party or company event! They are such a great team and made it a stress free for me, the planner. Thank you again!

Fantastic experience! We got wine flights and the owners spent so much time discussing the different options and what made each wine good. We will certainly come back on our next trip out.

Amazing little place to enjoy terrific award winning wines. The owners are very personable. Marko takes the time to learn your taste and set you up with fabulous wines to suite your taste. Will return often
Larry Metcalf — Google review
I will start by saying I have very little knowledge about wine. I’m not a big consumer of alcohol. I was given a gift certificate for this place and so my husband and I gave it a try. The owner was lovely and talked to us about their history and how their wines are made while we sampled a flight. My husband got a glass of the cherry cider and it was wonderful. I felt like all of their drinks were clean, again not knowing anything about wine I could at least sense how light and easy their wines went down compared to ones bought at a grocery store. I think this place will be my go to for wine from now on. Thank you!
Dixie Chubb — Google review
Was so looking forward to my first experience here but sadly my Mother’s Day experience was so bad, we left when our food came. We got there when our reservation was but was awkwardly having to move around the small space since our table wasn’t ready. We were sat with no menus and waited for about 15 minutes until someone showed… and once someone showed we explained we were first timers and would like to know what to do. I ordered a white wine sampler. My kiddos ordered cups for juice and after 15 more minutes we had to ask for said cups. In the meantime, once we finally got our wine, mine all tasted the same and I realized why- they were all spoiled and tasted like vinegar. No one came to the table so I downed them just to get them gone. Yuck. Once the food FINALLY came, I literally started crying. The croissant was a dry croissant with the meat and spinach underneath. We were given a fork. So we tried to cut the croissant to make our own sandwiches but not successfully. The donuts were dry. The cheese was gross. The pancakes were dry. The egg was cold. We got up and left. Overall, a terrible first experience at a place I was hoping to love and want to come back to.

I had a friend visiting from out of state and even though he doesn’t drink, we wanted to go for the ambiance. We got there with an hour left before closing. There was only one other couple there so we sat across from them at the fireplace. What a beautiful place! The girl who was working seemed bothered by us arriving and our ignorance of the menu (my first time there). She seemed even more put off when we asked for a charcuterie board. When I asked for a glass of wine and the board, she angrily grabbed the menu and didn’t even ask my friend what he wanted. When he was finally able to ask her for coffee, she walked away without asking him if he wanted anything in his coffee. Horrible service by a woman whose name I did not catch, but she has long, straight, brown hair and was crocheting a sweater that evening (1/8/24). Maybe we were taking away from her project. I just don’t know if I want to deal with that kind of service again, which is unfortunate since I just moved to Parker six months ago.
Gloria Utz — Google review
What a great little place! Stopped in one afternoon and hung out with the owner, or one of the owners, Marco over a couple flights. The wife and I mentioned what we tend to favor and proceeded to set us up with delicious recommendations. Will certainly return, thanks Marco!

Can’t beat this place. Amazing service and amazing wine. My wife and I stop by here every time we run out! Will not get wine anywhere else

Some may be silly to think that this was all I was poured but fear not! Not only was I poured an appropriate amount of this AMAZING Cabernet Sauvignon ice wine (my sweet tooth and palette were throughly satisfied), but I also didn't get a chance to take a picture before I had already nearly drank it all- silly me. 🤣🤣 We love this place! The atmosphere is amazing, music is great, the wine is clutch and the memories are endless! If you don't get a chance to visit this place any time soon you're missing out! The owners are amazing people, the staff is VERY personable and smiles abound at the yummy goodnesses that touch your lips! #PurgatoryCellars for the win!!!

Excellent wine, comfortable, and very cute family owned winery! We love coming here and feel so lucky to have such a great place down the street from our apartment.
