A hidden gem in Vallejo. From the moment we made the reservation to the last bite of our dessert, everything was exceptional, delicious! Highly recommended for intimate dinners and special occasions. My linguini and clams was absolutely outstanding! Come visit Mare Island and discover Zio Fraedos!

Nice spot by the waterfront and the municipal marina. The menu is very traditional and diverse. Overall the staff is friendly and helpful. The decor is a bit dated but comfortable enough. There is a huge parking lot, which is fairly well lit at night time.

This place is amazing we gave our mothers 79th birthday party on a short notice the owner Sherry made it happen for us. Just wanted to say thank you again for your services.
Sandra Ary — Google review
We had our Family Christmas banquet here. The banquet room was beautifully decorated and the staff were top notch. Professional, friendly and thorough. This was our 2nd year having Christmas here and we are all thankful that Zio Fraedo's could accommodate us.

Had dinner here last Friday, 05/20/22 and I'm so happy Zio survived the pandemic. This is one of my family's favorite restaurant to go to for special occasions. This restaurant has a beautiful look inside & out. For starters we ordered the Calamari Fritti & Ahi Tuna Tartare. If you like raw fish, I recommend you start off with that! Then, I tried their Beet Salad...it was good but the salad was so drenched in the balsamic dressing I couldn't finish my salad as much as I wanted too. In the future, I probably will ask for the dressing on the side. As for our entrees, I had their special which was the Prime Rib w/mashed potatoes & vegetables. My husband had the Chicken Gordon Bleu. Both dishes were delicious!! We ended our meal with a decadent cheesecake...Love this place! 😊 05/28/22 - Had to go back and get the Beet salad w/ the dressing on the side..😆

We had a great view by the water. Food was delicious. Nice ambience. I had the Chicken Parm...and my husband had Gnocchi Pesto & added Salmon. Ashley was awesome! Professional, courteous and made some great drinks. I would definitely recommend Zio Fraedos.

Delicious! We ate and still had to get a box for the leftovers!
Yolande Fong — Google review
The great reviews led me to grab lunch here with my friend. The food was terribly bland.. nearly inedible. Everyone in our party ended our meal with our food basically untouched. My friend actually had to spend some time in the restroom after he said the food tasted "off". I ordered a Coke Zero and was given a Root Beer. After everything else that transpired I just let it slide. Place has a very "rustic" odor that I found a little off putting. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.

I try to go regularly. They have delicious foods & a fun atmosphere. I love to watch sports on all the TVs! 📺 I love that I can bring my fur baby while sitting outside with her, eating lunch, and enjoying the sites! Thanks to Emerald, Sarah, Taylor, Trevor & Chef Ethan, for always making my dining experiences great!!! 🤗

I thought this place was just okay. I got the New York Steak plate. The food was alright, service was good. It's at the waterfront and its a beautiful location. Another note, the water here tastes really funny.
Tiffany Pina — Google review
Emarld was a gracious host, the food was fantastic. Linguini and clams were a tasty treat. Drinks 🍸 are impressive, overall a must try in the city of Vallejo.

Out at the Von DerrHarr Ranch all morning pokin around the horse stables looking for a Bladed Scallbacker that fell of Mike's Turnshuckle when he was cooling off his Trumblewacker after a long jont up Prickle Pete Ridge. I was whipped, cold, and near broken after that ride and the pokin around, but not so whipped that I couldn't put down a French Dip sandwich from Zio Fraedos Restaurant. They're the best in Solano county, Vallejo for sure. It's just amazing food! 5 stars all day long. ☆☆☆☆☆
American Angler — Google review
We enjoyed a dinner with friends from out of state. We were able to have one of the dining rooms all to ourselves; not from a lack of patrons but because we wanted a quiet space. The service was top notch, and all of the dishes we ordered were delicious. The views of the water are very nice, especially at sunset. The menu had great options from salmon and filet of Sole to pasta and steak. The appetizers were wonderful. We had the fried ravioli. So, if you're in Vallejo, Zio Fraedos is a great spot for dinner. Enjoy

We often eat at the bar or a table in that room. The best service! No complaints of any kind in 5 years of patronage. Their food is great! We never tire of it and go 3-4 times a month. It is on Marina property where we live. Vallejo a food desert so this is best restaurant in town.

New American restaurant
Cafe
Urban Counter, a restaurant located in the Bay Area, draws inspiration from its surroundings to create unique and diverse dishes. With a focus on vegan and vegetarian options, they offer some of the finest plant-based cuisine. Their thick Harvest Salad, drizzled in maple syrup, is a must-try. The menu at Urban Counter changes every few weeks, ensuring that there is always something new to discover.
Wow. Never tried this place before. Drove by and went back to try. Wow. What a good decision. My wife had the vegan French toast. Now I am a meat eater and that was great and I would it. I got the breakfast burrito znd it was delicious. The coffee is great. Their menu changes every 3 to six weeks so there is always something new. Must go to eatery. We will return often.
Jake Rourke — Google review
I'm slightly obsessed with this place. The owner makes a new menu every 4-6 weeks and always includes a vegan option. In a city with so few options I love that he considers us. I've never been disappointed by anything I've tried and the menu is always creative and full of flavor. This was today's brunch menu (I obviously got the vegan option, it was amazing). There were women having what looked like a business meeting over brunch, families with children, a couple, and some single guys enjoying brunch together. This was the fullest I have seen the restaurant, when it's emptier it's definitely a great place to study or a quiet corner to get some work done. Love it!
Katie-Lynn Clark — Google review
A pleasant surprise in the heart of Vallejo. Breakfast was fantastic and very flavorful with a nice presentation. They have a relatively small menu so I assume they do it all well. Definitely recommend the eggs Benedict varieties if that's your jam.

Great vibe, music, food and service! So glad to have this in Vallejo.

Wow! Urban counter is the spot to get delicious and healthy ...just look! This place is perfect for vegans, vegetarians and meat lovers! Enjoy!
Andrew H. — Google review
We live in Vallejo which is not the dining capital of the Bay Area. I wanted to go to breakfast and stay local. We went to Urban Counter after seeing a positive review and pics on Yelp. It was delicious. It's like home cooking if you can cook really well. The gentleman who waited on us was so welcoming and nice. The music played softly and was appealing to a young clientele, I'm not young but I love the energy of the young families coming in. The small eclectic menu embraces many vegan and vegetarian foods. My husband and I are omnivores and we had many delicious choices. I'm so glad we found Urban Counter. We look forward to visiting this neighborhood restaurant again!!
Angela Mooney — Google review
The best vegan breakfast burrito I've ever eaten. I'd eat here everyday day if I could. Love the chefs as well. The place is very friendly. I plan to be a regular. The breakfast vs lunch hours are a little confusing. We came here around 12:30pm, and we were ready to order lunch; but the worker told us that they were only serving breakfast at the time.

Pho restaurant
PHO#1 Noodle House is a vibrant Vietnamese eatery that offers a variety of noodle dishes, including the popular pho. The ambiance of the restaurant is sunny and colorful, with comfortable banquettes for seating. Despite the small portion sizes, the food at PHO#1 Noodle House is delicious and made with fresh ingredients. Unlike other lower quality pho places, their noodles and meat are not mushy.
My husband and I love going here for the pho. The small bowls are enough to make you full. It's a definite go to spot!
Amber Hogg — Google review
Not only is it the best Pho place around they also have some the most reasonable priced menu I’ve ever seen. I’m a vegetarian and I usually get the pho order #99 however this time I tried #75 without the shrimp. I love how the crispy noodles soak up all the juices.
Isaac Mendoza — Google review
5 stars on the food. The food tasted good and seem well made. The reason I am giving 2 stars was because I ordered spring rolls with pork inside and they didn't put pork inside and horrible lazy floor staff that never checked in on me. I wanted to ask for cilantro but the servers only took my order and then dropped off the food and never returned. I never got a refill on the soda, never got a chance to ask for cilantro, never asked how the food was. I would understand if staffing was low but I think 10-ish employees were around helping bring food out. From my point of view it seem like the staff were sitting around talking, sometimes texting, or watching TV. I don't live in this area but if I did I wouldn't go here again unless they got their staff in line and actually do their job just a little bit better. Just when I was going to submit this review I saw a waiter video chatting in the middle of the restaurant. Just wanted to add that real quick.

The food was great with a pretty good price, the customer service was excellent l, the kept checking up on me. And their atmosphere was so nice along aesthetic of this place. I 10/10 recommend.
Colton Rathbun — Google review
We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable on their dishes. Offered great recommendations on what to order when asked. Dishes arrived within a few minutes of ordering, lightning fast. All pho was delicious, same for the garlic noodles and egg rolls. Everything was very good.
Stacey Newcomer — Google review
Best Pho place around hands down! Family owned and operated. Super friendly and attentive staff. Rarely do we wait long for our order to be taken or for our food to come out to the table. They are on it. I have been eating here since they were at the smaller location in the parking lot across the street and I will continue to eat here. Can’t go wrong with a chicken pho or a pork chop plate #41. For appetizers I like the A8. Their shakes are fire! The avocado shake is my go to. Strawberry and taro are good too!
Alfred Wilson — Google review
The food is great, but the portion sizes are quite small. The noodles and meat taste fresh and not mushy like other lower quality pho places. However, I paid $11.50 for a large bowl, and it felt equal to small bowls at other pho places. You might have to order extra portions to have a full meal, which makes this place relatively more expensive.
Austin Tran — Google review
Delicious and affordable pho. Impressed at the quality, and amount of white meat chicken. Will be back

Excellent pho. I love pho, and I have been to many places, but this is one of my favorites. Clean, comfortable, fast food and good price.

pho was awesome! generous portions. also loved the spring rolls. customer service is kind of robotic and lacking a bit but really good food!

Was recommended this place and it did not disappoint! Whenever my boyfriend and I want pho, this is the first place that comes to mind now! I usually get the wonton noodle soup and it's always so good! The staff is really nice and attentive as well! Definitely recommend this place for pho, but be warned, once you try it, you won't be able to go anywhere else!
Claudia Barrera — Google review
Delicious food. But don't expect this place to be a typical restaurant. I only gave them 15% tip because they took our order and cleaned after us. Other than that, we had to go get to-go boxes and pack up our leftovers ourselves. Needless to say, I will still come back for the food. I feel they have the best Pho around Solano County and a very clean facility, too.
Maria Mcintyre — Google review
Good place for Pho. Usually order the #1 Beef pho. Also, a good place for a rice place (Combo plate #47). Clean. Safe. Good parking. The service is quick and food is always great. Update: 03/18/2023 New Server(s). Took order wrong. Servers needs to verbally repeat order back to guests for confirmation before placing order. We also notice the table next to us also received their order incorrectly. Just a learning phase. Food & service are still great! Note: We noticed the store lable was still on the lemon wedge. Perhaps they didn't have time to clean and/or rinse today (pic attached) 🤷‍♂️? 08/12/2023: Back for the uMmmteenth time...tonight, we had the #36 (Beef Stew HoFun)Large, Chicken Noodles (Large) & Beef Cubes over rice...and durian smoothie with Boba...we kinda made the restaurant smell like durian, but the overwhelming pho fragrance quickly override the durian smell. All in all, another great visit. Thank you again Pho 1!✊️

Food is good. Quality is good. Service and seating needs some work. I went in and got seated promptly. A bigger group came in and a waiter told me I had to move to another side of the table. And not after a couple of minutes, a waitress approached me and told to move again because more people came in the seat i originally was sitting in. Like why do I have to make room for other people and why did you guys seat me here in the first place if it’s a table for a big group? Then I told the waitress I only wanted to pay for my boba and not my food that hasn’t come out because I was disappointed and irritated that I had to move…TWICE. She went on to explain that it’s because of the big group and didn’t even apologize or acknowledge the fact that I don’t want to eat anymore. After that, I felt forced to eat and pay after I lost my appetite so I stayed and tried my best to appreciate to food in front of me.

A friend and I recently visited PHO Vallejo Noodle House and were impressed by the delicious food. Their egg fried rice is excellent, and they also offer tasty appetizers. Although the prices can be a bit high, the quality of the food makes it worth it. We had no trouble finding seats as it wasn't too crowded, and the staff were efficient and friendly. This restaurant is a great choice for both friends and family gatherings due to their ability to accommodate large groups.
I think I'm here at least once a week with my family. We love this spot. From the plates to the Pho. I love it all. I have never waited over 10 minutes for my food to arrive upon ordering and I always leave with a happy belly.

- MUST TRY - This pho was phenomenal 👏. I tried the large beef noodle soup with steak and brisket (#11) and a frozen Thai tea. The soup was about $14 and the drink was $6. The girl that helped me was really nice and my food was out in about 6 minutes despite it being kinda busy. The pho was so GOOD and I was able to split it into two big bowls. I recommend adding all the toppings and sauces they offer for the best experience and depth of flavor. I love that this meal was filling, comforting, and flavorful but didn’t leave me feeling groggy and unhealthy. Will definitely be coming back!
Alexis Rodriguez — Google review
Me and my friend went here and loved the food! Their egg fried rice is really good and they have tasty appetizers as well. The prices can be a bit over the top but the food is definitely worth it. It also wasn't that busy so finding seats wasn't a problem. The staff were also fast and friendly as well where me and my friend had a good time there. Would definitely recommend going to with friends and family as they can accommodate large groups with all their seating!

Excellent service. Great Vietnamese food. The Vietnamese iced coffee was a treat. I wish the iced coffee comes in a larger size. Its a bit smaller than most Vietnamese restaurants. 5 stars!
Tommy Tran — Google review
Not again ever. The broth for the wonton soup is just salt and no flavor. Ramen packets has more flavor. There should never be leftover broth. The chicken in noodles and veggies tasted expired. I would not recommend. Atmosphere is depressing and could be cleaner. The girl is quiet and not helpful. I should have stuck to PHO HOUANG 3495 Sonoma Blvd, Vallejo, CA 94590. The meat broth for their pho can stand alone without any additions. This is a never again and waste of $30 for those two items.

Tasty, consistent food. Been here about 10 times. Wait time from ordering to eating is always pretty short. Generous beverage sizes. Noodles are tasty. Lots of sauce options.

I’ve been coming to the restaurant since they opened about 6 years ago. Each time I come, the service is for the most part, on point. The best part is that the food comes out quickly after placing your order! The other part that’s great is that they allow you to substitute your order to your liking. Everything I’ve had on the menu is great! I’d say the reason I can’t give service 5 stars is because you do encounter a couple of waitresses who act like they own the place with bad attitudes and look like they don’t want to be there. I prefer the waiters that are mellow, laid back, and have great people skills. I always recommend this place to all my friends and family that visit.

Very good food and service, people are very friendly. Fast service all the times that me and my family go to eat. I never wait to get seated . The appetizers fried chicken, spring rolls and fried shrimp is bomb .

Just ok pho noodle. We ordered the large size bowls, and got mostly broth. The dish could have definitely used more noodles. The beef and the beef pho was pretty tough and overcooked. The chicken in the chicken food was only a bit better. Despite the food being only so so, the service was pretty wonderful. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable as well.

Kehaulani's Cafe is not only known for its delectable cuisine but also its stunning ambiance and delightful music. They even provide catering services, receiving rave reviews from wedding guests who praised both the food and service. The staff's kindness was particularly appreciated as they went out of their way to serve twins delicious food during a breakfast visit. The owners are incredibly sweet individuals who closed their restaurant temporarily to fully concentrate on a wedding event. One can't help but feel grateful for their dedication.
Not only do they have extremely yummy food, gorgeous restaurant with some amazing tunes to eat too they also cater! The entire wedding guest list said only good things about their food and service!! I also really appreciated their kindness trying to help serve my twins yummy food when we visited their restaurant the following day for breakfast! They are the sweetest people you will ever meet! AND they closed their restaurant just to solely focus on our wedding day! I am so thankful for them!

Tried this place for the first time. Took the drive from Fremont, and it was worth it. Went in the middle of the week late morning, so traffic was great. Was about a 45 minute drive. Was easy to find (right off the freeway). The service was friendly and fast. The food was great! Will have to come back to try other menu items 😊

This was a first visit, and I was pleasantly impressed!! The atmosphere was comfortable and homely. There was karaoke going on, which was great for the vibe! And, they were showing the NFL games. The service was awesome and attentive. The meal portions were on point, and the flavor was vibrantly delicious. I will be back and look forward to telling all that I know to visit if you are looking for a spectacular place for a meal.

Favorite local place for 'local' Hawaiian food. Whole family loves it here, as well as friends, several with Hawaiian roots. Great family running it too, with very fair prices. Lots of good stuff, but personal favorite - braised short rib loco moco. oh man...

We ordered the Just Like Oxtail soup, Fried Chicken with Ube Waffle, Tortang Talong, Lechon Bowl and Mini malasadas. Everything were tasty, although I found the Just Like Oxtail soup a bit bland for my liking. We met the owner, he was nice and explained answers to my questions very well. I recommend this restaurant.

Had this spot on my "want to go" list and finally made it now that COVID restrictions have been relaxed a bit and we're able to dine out. The website said they had reservations for outdoor seating but to our surprise, we were seated inside where they had staggered seating and installed some clear shower curtain style partitions between tables. The staff was super friendly and all wore masks. It was our first time and missed the turn at first but they did call me right as I parked to ask if we still wanted our reservation. The food was a delicious mix of Hawaiian and Filipino favorites. Our party of 3 had a hard time deciding and ended up with 3 starters, 3 entrees, plus mini malasadas for dessert. The seasoning on the Hurricane fries was delicious but the fries themselves would have been better if they were crispier. The chicarrons were nice and puffy and the sawsawan was just like I remember it growing up in a Filipino household. The sisig was good, but not our favorite way of seasoning. It was much more sour than other sisig we've had. For entrees, the longsilog was just as you'd expect and portions were big. The lechon bowl was good but there was a sweet glaze on the pork and I would have preferred it crispy like lechon kawali. Our favorite entree was Da Loco Moco. Instead of a hamburger patty, it was some super tender short rib and I'll definitely order it when we return. The malasadas were ok, but seemed slightly doughy in the middle and the chocolate dip was cold, not a warm sauce.

This building is attached to the motel, so it might be difficult to see. The parking is off the small side road next to the motel. This is a fun Hawaiian themed restaurant with pretty good food. They fry the spam well and their deserts are really good. The mac salad is simple and very delicious. Definetly worth a try.

People were nice, but the food was a big let down. I had high hopes for this place but was saddened by the out come. Got the Da PuPu plater, which was a 3 item combo ribs, shrimp & lumpia & they were out of 2 the lumpia & shrimp so they gave us fried chicked cut into strips & the longanisa. The ribs were super greasy the longanisa was bearly grilled also pretty greasy. We also tried the Katsu Loc Moco it was ok, the egg was over cooked so no yolky goodness & hardly any gravey & the rice was bland. Not sure if we'd try it again specially for the price $$$. I do not mind paying higher prices as long as it worth it & unfortunately this fell short. The pork buns hardly any meat in them & no veggie like the pic show. However the juices were very good
