Reminds me of the ultimate Southern Hospitality experience! Linen napkins and checkered table cloths set the tone right away. Fruit muffins with strawberry butter! Swiss cheese potato soup and corned beef sandwich. All served with a thirst quenching iced tea. An exceptional experience that I am grateful to have tried
Kelly Harvel — Google review
It was great, but our waitress was better with other tables than us. We sat down before another tab that say after us first. She told them the soup of the day and when she came to us she just asked about our drinks. I felt she was in a rush the whole time. I had to ask her what is the soup of the day. For the rest of the meal it was like that.

This is a great place to go for breakfast and lunch. You get a good feeling of the downtown Dade City experience. The food was really good and the entire staff was very friendly.

My wife and I took a mid-week day trip to do some antiquing in the Dade City area. We decided to have lunch downtown and happened upon Lunch on Limoges. So happy we did! Loved the atmosphere, and the people were incredibly nice too! We enjoyed our dishes! I had the Pecan Chicken and my wife had the Pecan Grouper. Both were excellent! Her Grouper was cooked perfectly, which is so often not our experience at other places. The dishes were accompanied by Squash casserole and roasted potatoes. Both were delicious! I had a pint of the Hazy River IPA by Marker 48. Of course, it paired quite well with my dish! We loved the muffins and pineapple butter too! Can't wait to return on our next visit to Dade City!

Outstanding service complements the delicious entrees and sandwiches at this little gem in Dade City. Servers work in teams of 2 and 3 to take orders, refill drinks and answer questions. Pork Schnitzel for me today. Superb! And the carrot cake is always delicious. Prices are reasonable, considering the portions (~ $43 for 2). Don't miss the opportunity to visit for lunch!

One of the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had! Breakfast came out perfectly cooked. If you're looking for home cooked southern meal, this is the place.

Florida Cracker in Dade City was a comforting place to grab lunch. I had their signature pecan chicken, which was moist and tasty. The complimentary biscuits with pineapple butter were delicious. The carrot cake was moist and filling.

Great view of main Street. Dynamite corned beef sandwich and wife had tasty turkey and bacon croissant. Looking forward to go back for breakfast.

I did not know that this local gem was in Dade city until I did a quick search. My friends and I worked up an appetite and wanted to get something quick. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and other employees near the entrance, seated quickly and coffee was served shortly after being seated. Complimentary muffins were delicious and strawberry butter? I think it was strawberry butter - was also tasty. It has all the feels of an old time diner. Felt like we were in a Time Machine! I have added this to my list of goto places in the future whenever we are in the area.
Shaun S — Google review
Love this little place! I ordered the Gator bites with eggs and cheese grits. They also serve delicious muffins with pineapple butter with your breakfast. Last time I ordered their chicken and biscuits which was also delicious.
Samantha Endicott — Google review
this is better than the regular breakfast places we have in the area. Food is good and the service is top notch and they have run and whisky for sale 💪🏻💪🏻
Erik Ramirez — Google review
We had gone there for brunch the Saturday before Mothers Day (as they are closed on Sunday), and the food and service were incredible. But I saw on the menu they had made-from-scratch corned beef hash that I simply had to try, so when Fathers Day rolled around we headed back! And I am so very glad we did. The service was as incredible as before (Megan and Beverly took excellent care of us), and the food was beyond belief. My son got a waffle and some bacon, my wife got the Cristo Cracker breakfast sandwich (their version of a Monte Cristo), and I got the Cowboy Classic with the corned beef hash, two eggs (perfectly over easy) and a grilled biscuit. We also split a cinnamon roll and an order of sausage gravy and biscuits for the table. (the cinnamon roll disappeared before I could get a picture!) Everything was prepared perfectly and tasted amazing, and that corned beef hash was the absolute best I've had that I can remember. I usually don't order it in restaurants because it ends up being that canned junk, but there was definitely "NO CAN IN SIGHT" (as the menu claims for that item). I don't know if the comments I added as captions for the pictures got saved or not, but I'll just simply say that this place gets my highest recommendation and we will MOST DEFINITELY be coming back.
BJ Backitis — Google review
I have loved Lunch on Limoges for many years, so I am sad to see that theme replaced with Florida Cracker. This restaurant has always been classy and served good quality food! It was good this time so I'm optimistic! No Gluten-free menu or knowledge on the part of the server so I wouldn't recommend this place for those who have a medical need for Gluten-free!!!

Olga's Bakery & Deli is a remarkable establishment known for its exceptional pastries and donuts that surpass anything commercially produced. Their signature donut, graciously given to first-time visitors, represents the quality and uniqueness of their offerings. The guava cream cheese pastry also stands out as a delectable treat. Customers rave about the deliciousness of Olga's pastries and especially praise their doughnuts, which steal the spotlight. Additionally, their customer service is highly regarded by patrons.
Just got an apple turnover. After 3 bites without apple, I pulled it apart to discover almost nothing inside. I went back and showed them, they made a fresh batch and called me when they were done. Best turnover I ever had!

We seen the reviews and had to check this place out, ordered a few sandwiches, coffee, and some donuts. The bagel sandwich was lacking some sort of sauce to tie it together. The Cuban bread sandwich was similar, dry and the ham was watery lunch meat quality. The coffee had an off taste which might be not rinsing cookware well enough leaving a soapy taste. The yeast donuts where a little more dense than what we are used to but the cinnamon rolls where great. Overall I will not be recommending or returning.
Tyler Rewa — Google review
The donuts are amazing, way better than anything mass produced. On my way out the door the cashier handed me their signature donut (bottom left) to try because it was my first time visiting. Will definitely be back to try more! P.S. the guava cream cheese pastry is also really good.

Olga’s is such a gem. We came for the first time yesterday and were not disappointed. We tried a bunch of pastries and they were all delicious. Their doughnuts, though, stole the show. Customer service was great, too. We will be back!

Highly disappointed today. Spent $43 on sandwiches for our office in LandoLakes, asked for all the way. They don't tell you if it's pressed only pickle, mayo, and mustard. Normally I would give 5 stars but not today!
Jennifer Hicks — Google review
The worst food and service I have ever had. Ordered a ham, egg and cheese on cuban bread and potato soup and waited 45 min for it. As I opened the sandwich I realize they gave me a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on bread...not sure why it took so long. At this point I thought oh well I'll just eat it. As I start to eat my potato soup I'm disgusted by the hard potatoes and completely cold soup. I then ask if they can heat the soup only to wait another 15 minutes to receive the cup back with burn marks on the cup. They put the whole cup that is a paper cup with wax coating in whatever they use to heat things up and the soup smelled and tasted like burnt plastic. At this point I'm upset that I even have to complain because I'm not a complainer. The lady asks me if id like something else and I say no. I've been to this place before and it was great. I'm assuming this place has new owners. Completely disappointed.

Came in today to cheer a buddy of mine up with some doughnuts and a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I ordered a blueberry doughnut and 4 mini doughnuts and I got home to open to a lemon meringue doughnut 🤦🏻‍♂️ only why I'm leaving this review, but then I got word from my buddy his egg sandwich didn't have any bacon in it. 😭💀.. Super disappointed in Olgas bakery. Other than that there sausages biscuits and gravy tho is pretty good 🤤🤌🏼.

Good service! My cuban sandwich looked so good but but but it was cold If I would of ordered it cold. No problem! I like my hot! And the bread was burned 😞

Neil Summers — Google review
We have eaten at Olga's for many years. That being said, we hadn't eaten there in many years. So we were comparing to the true Olga's. It doesn't compare. The bread that our sandwiches were made on was dry. The meat on the sandwiches was lacking. We got a dozen bread sticks to eat there and take home. This was one of the things Olga's was known for. My son eat one and gave the rest of them away. They weren't worth the calories to eat one.
Linda Eriksen — Google review
I'm native to the area. This has always been a nice bakery. Something changed today. Not sure I'll go back. The customer service seems completely lost. It was chaos. The woman checking me out left my transaction no less than 5 times to tend to other people who were complaining about wrong items, etc. The people I ended up sitting next to said they had been waiting 50 minutes for sandwiches and soup. The cuban I got was outstanding quality! Very good. But the iced tea tasted like fish. I dumped the whole cup. I hope they fix whatever is wrong between front desk and the kitchen. Because it's a stressful environment now and you can see the frustration in every customer in there today. Also, the cases were basically empty. I got the last 2 donuts. They put more out eventually, but there's not much to ohhhh & ahhhh over when you walk in.

BubbaQue's is a BBQ chain located in Dade City, Florida, that opened in 2013. This folksy establishment serves pub grub, such as wings, ribs, and pulled pork, along with a variety of Southern sides. The restaurant operates under the order-at-the-counter system commonly found in BBQ places. The courteous cashier took and confirmed orders before promptly delivering drinks to the table.
The most delicious bbq spot we have been to! Ribs were my favorite, and the Mac and cheese. Also loved the pulled pork. We did the combo plates! They are huge and super reasonable priced! Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly!
Emily Fisher — Google review
Okay smoked chicken they give you a good amount for the price, but not the Red Neck Nachos. You could probably order the pork or meat of choice and air fry your own fries and add cheese too save a lot of money. I ordered to go they didn't make it home well. It all stuck together that I couldn't even separate them to share. I live fifteen minutes away. Really good sauce though. "Tractor Greece."

We travel all over the country full time… this was hands down the best BBQ we have ever been to! Wow! 👏🏻 Definitely go with an appetite, because the portions are very generous in size😉

Good barbecue this is not Sonny’s barbecue. If this was Sonny’s barbecue, you will be getting a nuke plate. The food is very very good excellent. The staff is very professional, polite and kind. I highly recommend if you are in Dave city stop at Bubbas barbecue so delicious. Oh, did I mention the place is clean and the restrooms

First you order at the counter like most BBQ places. We were met with a pleasant cashier. She took our order and repeated it for confirmation. They then promptly gout our drinks to the table. The food was out very quick. I had the Meaty Ribs they were excellent. We had 10 in our party everyone commented on the great taste of their food. The staff was very attentive keeping drinks full. The restaurant was very clean. We will be back.

Really disappointed first in 8 pieces the size of a dime of chicken and some bland potato salad for 13.00 and 3.00.for an ice tea. Good choices of BBQ sauce. Quick service. Definitely not worth it.

Good food...had brisket...not much but tasty. For the price I expected a little more meat. Baked beans have way to many onions.. and again if you want crispy fries...be ready to send back..

Kafe Kokopelli is a unique and historic establishment in downtown Dade City that offers a variety of New American dishes, ranging from sophisticated entrees to innovative sandwiches. With its 150-seat capacity, the restaurant aims to captivate guests with its culinary creations. A late lunch or early dinner at Kafe Kokopelli promises an exceptional dining experience. The attentive and friendly server adds to the enjoyment of the meal.
This place was delicious. The atmosphere is super unique and the service was outstanding. We ordered the short rib and beer cheese nachos. They were so good. Homemade chips with tender short ribs, beer cheese, and pickled red onions. Everything melded together perfectly. I ordered the lamb and it was some of the best I've had. Tender, seasoned, and cooked just right. Would highly recommend.

We love Kafe Kokopelli! We celebrated our 3 year wedding anniversary here as it was also where we had our rehearsal dinner and after we chose our wedding venue we ate there as well. The food is always delicious and we love the atmosphere. Unfortunately, for our anniversary dinner last week, our waitress was extremely rude and had an attitude right away but we ignored it because it was a special night for my husband and I. We will just make sure not to get seated in her section next time because we did not deserve to be treated that way.

Excellent wait staff. Very attentive. Drinks were very good. Recommend Espresso martini. Gator bites- yum!! Could have had more spinach in the Ahi Tuna salad. Goat cheese cake locally made and amazing. The atmosphere is eclectic and cool.

Birthday dinner with my hubby was wonderful. Love the atmosphere, decor and wait staff. The service was fantastic thanks to Samantha and our meal was special. The fried calamari was cooked to perfection with two amazing sauces the she crab soup amazingly creamy. The dinner rolls were served fresh and hot. Entree’s were the lamb chops and chef shrimp scampi. My chops could have been less cooked and the meat needed seasoning, the scampi was over powered by red pepper and missing something either more garlic or shallots. I BBC would highly recommend a meal and visit to this great place.

Really enjoyed our experience here on Saturday night. The food was very good. I love that they offer lunch portions at dinner time. I ordered the spaghetti and meatballs with arabiatta sauce and it was very very good. Definitely had the spice but wasn’t overbearing and unpleasant. The bread beforehand was a nice variety and it was tasty. We also ordered the beer cheese soup as an appetizer, and it was okay. Seemed to be very floury tasting and lacked a bit of flavor but it wasn’t terrible. Our waitress was very kind and accommodating. She was so friendly and attentive. Afterward, we went to the bar for a nightcap and Jeff was very pleasant and attentive as well. Great staff! Great environment and ambiance! Highly recommend.

We often stop in the early evening/ late afternoon for apps and drinks. The last visit 3/21/24 was our anniversary. It was busy. Saw some friends. Sat at the bar, had the Very Best fried green tomatoes Ever! Not Only plated beautifully but absolutely delicious.

Late lunch/Early dinner at a new great Restaurant in Dade City, Kafe Kokopelli. We had an excellent server, very helpful and friendly ! The 16 oz pork chop with bone was amazing and shareable with my husband ! I forgot to take the picture of my meal prior to split the green beans and mashed potatoes and pork chop !! The cappuccino is as great too. We had the calamari as appetizer, and was great and very tasty with the 2 homemade sauces. Well recommended! Love this restaurant !!

Kafe Kokopelli is absolutely AMAZING! We stopped in for lunch, not knowing what to expect. We immediately became enthralled by the ambiance. We love the over one hundred year old red brick building that has vines growing up the sides by the windows. We loved the lighting and the Ford decor since this was originally a Ford showroom. Our service was great. We even had our Bananas Foster dessert prepared in front of us. Incredible! See video. We ordered the lunch specials that came with half a sandwich, soup or salad, and an appetizer. Everything was delicious. Prices are reasonable for the portion sizes.

Food was fresh, flavorful and cooked to perfection. Our waitress was one of the best I've had. Friendly, observant and engaging. It says a lot about a place when staff all seem genuinely happy to be there. If you get the chance, this is a must see.
Erin Peirce — Google review
Awesome little hometown location. The locals and trip advisor both said it was the best place in Dade City. We checked it out. The entrance was unique and different. Once you step inside, you are in a whole new world. They have beautifully decorated with deer and moose antlers, almost any taxidermy animals you could think of. We got lucky, and someone canceled a reservation, so we were seated. The staff were not friendly front desk and our waitress they all seemed irritated we were there. Then the food was definitely a huge disappointment. We ordered the She Chrab Bisque and the Cajun Alfredo Pasta, both house specialties. The Bisque was thicker than left over breakfast gravy. The Cajun alfredo came with a few shrimp, about a quarter of a small chicken breast, and 4 very tiny slivers of sausage. All meats were severely overcooked, to the point they appeared to be near jerky. The alfredo sauce was almost as thick as the Bisque. The staff should truly have been embarrassed to serve those two dishes. We also ordered the Ahi Tuna, and it came out perfect. And was absolutely delicious. Would I be back? No, I wouldn't. I understand bad dishes come out of kitchens, but coupled with very unfriendly staff, I would prefer to support businesses who want customers.
Phoebe Christine — Google review
What an amazing dinner we had! Food and atmosphere were great. Such a great vibe inside. Started with their sangria and champagne. Then enjoyed the seafood cajun pasta which had an an out of this world sauce and the pulled pork tacos. Ended it with the bananas foster. Everything was on point and will be coming back again soon!
Max Wise — Google review
We dined in as a very large party. I must say, of all the times I've visited throughout the years, I've never been inside to dine. The restaurant is beautiful and very inviting. I love the setup. Every staff member we encountered, we're so nice and hospitable. Our waitress, Erica P, was truly awesome and very thorough. I had a very delicious glass of Moscato. Not pictured, I ordered the Meatball Ricotta as my appetizer. Although it could've used a bit more seasoning, it's definitely a fulfilling starter dish. For my entree, I ordered the Chicken Marsala. The chicken was cooked to perfection, and the pasta was pretty good. Unfortunately, the sauce fell a bit short. It was on the watery side. But, I must admit, the meal was much better the next day. I know certain pasta dishes are better once they're properly stored/refrigerated and then reheated. I ordered a carrot cake to go, and it hit the spot. So delicious. Overall, it was a great experience, and I highly recommend you stop by if you're in the area. I certainly plan to visit sooner rather than later.

after living in the area for 5 years I stumbled to this great hidden gem of a restaurant. Food And the service is very good. The restaurant looks good and is clean. I have to say this is the best restaurant in town
Erik Ramirez — Google review
My favorite thing to do is find a new little town to explore. While exploring, this cafe was referred to me. The building is beautiful and historic. The interior is full of beautiful and quirky decor - lots of taxidermy which I love. I came in right at 3pm which was the end of their brunch service and apparently it had been a busy day so far. So I’m guessing the kitchen staff just stopped caring. I ordered the she crab soup which was warm but flavorless. Unless flour is a flavoring. Not much crab. I also ordered the meatballs on ricotta, the appetizer. Meatballs were lukewarm and a bit pink inside. The cheese was room temperature/cold. The limoncello cake was delicious. I ate the soup and took the meatballs home. They were good when actually hot. This would be a cool place to spend a meal with friends. Probably fine either with others or during actual meal times when the kitchen is actively working.

The food at Green Door on 8th is of exceptional quality with delightful flavors. The restaurant offers a wide variety of dishes, including sirloin, salmon, filet, sea bass, and classic New Orleans cuisine. Customers were not disappointed by the amazing food options available. However, service for larger parties may be a bit slow and there were instances where certain items ran out. Nevertheless, the staff was friendly and helpful. Another visit to Green Door in the future would be welcomed.
Superb quality and excellent flavor, the food at Green Door exceeded my expectations! From sirloin to salmon, filet to sea bass, and some classic New Orleans fare, nothing disappointed. The food options were amazing. We were a party of 12 seated at 7:30 pm, so service was a little slow and they had run out of some items. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I would love to go there again in the future.

I wish I took more pictures but people started eating so quickly. I can't say enough wonderful things about our experience. The food was INCREDIBLE. The chef is inspired. We had the Venison, Sea Bass, NY Strip Steak, Catfish, Pork, fried green tomatoes, and fried smoked gouda with pork belly....oh and I also had a huge chocolate chip cookie that was to die for. Seriously, the food was so good! The service was excellent. Our waitress took such good care of us. We will definitely be back!

Came to Green Door on 8th for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. Ambiance is warm and inviting and staff was attentive. Most importantly, the food was outstanding. We had the Roast Beef Melt and Turkey BLT. $1 upgrade for fries. Both were cooked to perfection and delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Second time here. Was much less impressed this time than the first. Was very busy which is to be expected on a Saturday evening. We chose to sit at the 3 person bar and that was fine. We were seated within a couple minutes. We each opened our silverware and my cloth napkin had hair in it, while my husband’s had dried crusted food. He was served an expired bottled beer. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip appetizer which was phenomenal. I ordered the basil pesto pasta and the portion was very small for the price. He ordered the wood fired chicken with mash and green beans. Chicken was slightly pink and the green beans were cold. Also small. Service was slow. It was insanely hot in there. We were sweating. Prices aren’t worth the portions in my opinion. Different kind of restaurant for Dade City. Worth checking out.

Let me start of by saying, I really liked my anniversary dinner at the Green Door on 8th and will go back. It was during the Kumquat Fevistal (I didn't even know there was a Kumquat Festival - great surprise). Had a glass of the Pundit Syrah. Very good. We ordered the Chip and Blue appetizer. I thought it was tasty. I would have preferred the pork belly to be more consistent. Big pieces and small pieces and wish the amount was a little more generous. I ordered a side salad with my meal. Good amount stuffed into a small bowl. I wish it came with a salad plate that I could spread out to get dressing on all parts of the salad. Tasty dressing. Tried the balsamic and the honey mustard. My wife had the Filet Mignon with roasted potatoes and green beans. It was cooked perfectly and the quality of meat was very good. It was seasoned well. It would have been better with more moisture or a sauce. We asked for melted butter which was separated and no milk solids. Still very good but could be better. I had the Everglades Catfish which was excellent. The crawfish etouffee was good. I wish it was more gravy-like so that it would incorporate better with the rice. I also thought a garnish of lemon would have been a good addition to bring in a more acidic/bright note to the dish. Good flavor. Good-sized portion. I ordered the bananas foster bread pudding for dessert. Took a long time to come out and frankly did not meet my expectations. It was DRY and did not offer any hint of rum to the flavor. Was hoping for better. Service was excellent and the ambiance was enjoyable. It sounds like I am complaining too much for a 4 star review. But, I liked it and would go definitely consider a return visit.

Don’t hesitate. This place is fantastic. Hidden gem. You most likely will need reservations. We got in on a Friday night, but they went out of their way to fit us in. Meatloaf was the best I’ve had. Catfish, gumbo and bread pudding were all SO good as well. We are from AZ and this was the best food we’ve had so far in FL.

Super nice dinner! Not the first time, we ate at Green Door but first time for Dinner and we were not disappointed at all. Bone marrow and shrimp starters were great, Jambalaya and pork tenderloin entrées were great. Great Chef, friendly service, fair prices. Def. worth a mini road trip to dade city and not the last time we visited that place.

We were walking around downtown Dade City a couple months ago, and spotted The Green Door. We decided we had to give it a try someday. When I was trying to decide where to go for the wife's birthday, I remembered this place. Am I ever glad I did! The staff was EXTREMELY friendly, the restaurant is in a cool old building, and has a nice, relaxed feel. But most of all . The food was OUTSTANDING Saw Fried Green Tomatoes on the menu as a starter, and there's no way I was going to pass those up! They really set the bar as what to expect for the main course! I had to give the Andouille Shrimp & Grits a try... I was not disappointed! They just may be my new favorite. The Mrs. Decided on the glazed Salmon with Brussels Sprouts and mashed potatoes. This dish was cooked perfectly, the glaze was very tasty and the sprouts were not overcooked. The portions were generous and the prices quite fair. I do have one suggestion... Please, include a bread with dinner... Especially with something like the Shrimp & Grits so I could get every last drop of sauce. (My wife wouldn't let me lick the plate !! 😂🤣) We WILL be back. Thank you for a great dinner to celebrate my wife's Birthday!

The wife and I made reservations for dinner after seeing the advertised special. We arrived for dinner at 6:30 for the WEEKEND special and they were no longer serving it. I settled for the rack of lamb and was quite disappointed. The portion of the rack was very small and overcooked, even after they asked the requested doneness. Everything on the plate was covered with the same seasoning and had little variation in taste. I will say, they had a ton of potatoes and green beans in the plate. I'd assume it was to make up for the lack of lamb, but made the portion size of the lamb only look less appealing. Needless to say, after spending over $90 on dinner for 2, we will not return.

Green Door offers great service! They offer delicious food. 😋 This place is supposed to be haunted. 👻 👽 The servers are very friendly and will tell you all about it. They offer outdoor dining, too. The ambiance is cozy. We love the headboards attached to the walls. The music is soft and delightful. Our food was cooked fast and was made with high-quality ingredients. This restaurant is a bit pricey for lunnch but we did enjoy our meals.

A great little find in Dade City if your looking for friendly service and a great meal! Was in town recently from S.FL and was told to check out The Citrus Room... very happy we decided to stumble into this establishment instead. Relaxed environment, smiling staff and no where near as stuffy as the steak house seemed to be. Great sized portions, the shrimp and grits could have fed an army, the crusted chicken was crispy and tender and the mashed Sweet potatoes were amazing! Will definitely be stopping in again the next time we're in town!
