Mezze Bistro + Bar is a classic bistro-style restaurant that offers contemporary American cuisine using locally sourced ingredients. The restaurant prides itself on supporting independent farmers and artisan producers, ensuring the best of the season in their dishes. Guests can expect a warm welcome, delicious drinks, fresh salads, fabulous entrees, and scrumptious desserts.
Wonderful new additions on the February prefixed 3 course menu featuring Italian inspired dishes. Nick and Kevin, the chefs, do a fantastic job. Amanda, our server, was patient with our questions and knowledgeable of the items on the menu. Each course was an experience of delicious flavors. I highly recommend a visit to Mezze

I would have liked to give this restaurant a 5 star however my husband and I did not feel very welcomed because we did not look the part! We are living in Manhattan so we dine regularly at fancy restaurants! I did not think that for a backwood restaurant the staff would mind how you dress to decide how to treat you! Frankly, if we don't dine then you don't get paid so what do you care! I ordered wine and he brought two different kinds for me to taste so I decide on the latter than when I was 1st inquiring, the wine the server brought back, tasted nothing like the wine I taste-tested! My wine had residue at the bottom of the glass, something I have never experienced before! The acidity levels were very high in the food to the point of being overbearing! Our dessert was minimal, the server said my dessert was custard-like in texture when in fact it tastes like a yoghurt parfait! Our overall experience was good! Would we visit again, probably!
Reya Singh — Google review
Small menu of well-prepared seasonal dishes. All of the plates were good and some, like the sriracha chickpeas, chicken, and quark tart, were outstanding! The wine selection was robust and the staff was upbeat and knowledgeable. Mezze is worth a visit!

An amazing place. Our family went to Mezze during graduation weekend. What an enjoyable time we had! The food was amazing - I had the halibut (see photo) - but everyone's entrees were great, as were the apps (especially the octopus), and the desserts. Cocktails were delicious, service was fantastic, and just a very nice vibe in the restaurant. Highly recommended!

Great ambiance and lighting! The hostess, wait staff, and bartender all worked great together! And the food was amazing. Best prix fixe deal around! The squid ink pasta was delicious, the salmon was cooked perfectly, and the desserts were delicious! The custard pastry and chocolate ganache! It was a special evening and we will be back!

My wife and I have been there at least 5 times for the last 8 months. The prix fix menu concept is great as you can have an appetizer, entrée and desert for $55. You can choose between 3-4 options for all of them, so it's not too overwhelming. I'm a pescatarian and they have great fish and vegetarian options. Everything is sourced locally. Highly recommended!

This fabulous restaurant features an amazing pix fix menu of 3 courses with each course offering an ample variety of choices. We each ordered different dishes and every single thing we tasted was absolutely delicious. The portions were appropriately generous. The staff was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu and the wine list. The restaurant itself is a lovely space with tables spread out which provides more privacy and a pleasantly quiet level of noise. From start to finish, our dinner was a 5 star experience! We can't wait to go back!

Fabulous spot in Williamstown. Staff was attentive and friendly. Great drink selection. Food came out quickly and was cooked to our specifications. Would love to stop back whenever we are in this area. Make reservations ahead of time.

Amazing experience… from walking in the door and being greeted by the very friendly staff, to one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had. Chef Kevin is a master of serving unbelievable dishes that look as good as they taste . His creativity is off the charts. The team at Mezze were perfection, so kind so helpful and so efficient. We look forward to our next visit. Hopefully that will be soon .

Mezze was a lovely surprise for us as we went out to western mass with no expectations. We love pretentious food, we love cheap fast food, we love bar food, but we did not expect delicious interesting novel food in western mass. Mezze was a lovely cherry on top for the day. It wasn’t hard to get a table and the pricing was gorgeous. Mezze comes off as a farm to table esque restaurant where the servers know where ingredients are sourced, the ingredients are fresh and seasonal, and a bunch of herbs are just growing outside. I had their fish while my partner had their steak. Both were super well seasoned and have novel flavour pairings that weren’t classic or dated. The bread and olive oil was super delicious. Across the menu it felt like the perfect portion sizing and balance. The techniques used weren’t crazy. It was just simple yummy food that highlighted the fresh ingredients. There’s also a lovely pond outside that just adds to the quaint ambiance. My time at Mezze was memorable and frankly outshined expensive steakhouses I’ve been to in the city. Definitely would recommend and go again.

Mezze dinning is the gold standard for what you'd want to experience when enjoying a fine meal out. From the super friendly greeting at the door and the terrific drinks to the fresh and crisp salads, fabulous entrees and scrumptious desserts, this will be a night to enjoy! The warm Berkshire Mountain bakery sourdough bread brought tableside was just one example of the attention to detail Mezze provides. This was the second time we visited and enjoyed it just as much.

We loved our experience here! Joy was a wonderful, attentive waitress. The food was delicious and we loved the zucchini dish. Nice, affortable wine list, too. I got the lamb which was ok and my partner got the ribeye which was AMAZING and perfectly seasoned and cooked.

My husband and I sat at the bar and did the prix fixe menu and everything was outstanding. I got the chicory appetizer, the steak dinner, and the chocolate budino and I LOVED EVERY BITE. Definitely go here. Lovely ambience, fantastic food.

Mezze was a great place for an anniversary dinner! It's a three course pre-fixed menu but with choices for each! Food was absolutely delicious and the picture is of our dessert which was a pumpkin trifle and cheesecake.

Pera Bistro is a charming Mediterranean restaurant located in Williamstown, offering a diverse menu that combines American and Mediterranean bistro cuisine. The dishes are prepared without deep-frying, with an emphasis on sautéing in olive oil, grilling, or oven-cooking from scratch. Visitors can enjoy outdoor dining while savoring the flavorful muhummara and freshly baked spanokopita.
We had a really great time here. It is probably the best Turkish/Mediterranean food in the area. Really fabulous kebab, hummus, falafel and baklava. Lots of good options on the menu without being overwhelming. The staff is happy to answer any questions. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable with many well cushioned seating areas.

Okay where do I start. If you're a fan of Mediterranean food, Greek food in particular. If you've ever had Greek food from a lunch truck and enjoyed it. Then this is not the place for you. It touts itself as being traditional. I ordered a simple gyro platter It took a while to prepare So in the meantime we asked for appetizer order of hummus. This was the start of the concern about the meal. The hummus was served with very little pita bread relative to two people eating it. The hummus itself was incredibly bland It seemed to have been prepared with navy beans as opposed to chickpeas. The coloring was very much off bright orange instead of yellow. The flavor was incredibly bland no taste of garlic or salt, and it had been drenched in an olive oil that was incredibly bitter which took that much more away from the plate. And our meals were served. I was immediately disappointed. I'd asked for tzatziki sauce on the side and what I got was sour cream with a few chives in it. The same was ladled into the gyro. The gyro was constructed of commercially prepped meat strips that were either cold or overdone. There was a smattering of greens, a few pieces of onion and two or three pieces of sliced plum tomatoes. Trying to overcome my initial disappointment in the appearance alone I tasted it and was equally disappointed. I chose not to eat the meal and asked to return it. The waiter was stunned at my request and returned with who was either the chef or the owner / chef who proceeded to berate me for not understanding what quality Greek food was about. He challenged me on many concepts of his product. My point was that I didn't like what he had served and he took great offense to that. I am no novice to Mediterranean food Greek food I love it I've had many incredible experiences at some of the highest end and most modest restaurants in the country. So my understanding of what I expected was pretty clear. Once he realized I was not going to budge on his product he offered me a different item I accepted it. I was not going to get into any more of a disagreement with the man about the restaurant. I was brought a lamb kabob which was lamb chunks grilled and put in a pita I ate the lamb pieces and left the rest. Unfortunately my wife had less of an incident but the platter that she had ordered was a salad with grilled shrimp and that was actually returned for a similar condition where the shrimp was not properly cooked It was only half cooked and again bringing it to attention and asking him for it to be corrected. They took the plate away took the shrimp off the plate regrilled the same items and put them back on the same plate. It was not remade this in itself was a disastrous experience. All in all Pera Bistro must be depending on the ignorance of the areas clientele to support such quality of product. So, for me I would pass on the Pera Bistro if you are in the area. If you are walking down the hill " Walk on by" there are several very nice places to eat nearby.

Really enjoyed our lunch outdoors at Pera! It's a great way to enjoy amazing Mediterranean cuisine while also people-watching in Williamstown. The muhummara is a must-have if you love roasted red peppers with a tiny heat kick to it. The spanokopita was fresh out of the oven - a bit salty for our low-sodium household - but delicious, generous with the filling, and crispy phyllo dough layers throughout. The gyro was wonderful as well. Wish we could've explored more of the menu. Next time!

A wonderful place for dinner. We started with a drink that was well mixed with fresh ingredients. The winter quinoa and squash salad had a great combination of herbs and spices. The lamb kabobs were tender with a unique cumin and spice flavor. Cooked perfectly as ordered. Nice ambiance and good service. You can't go wrong here!

A spectacular delight. The food is a wonderful expression of Turkish cuisine. The flavours were perfect mix. Get the trio dip platter and the ravioli. You can't go wrong with anything. Enjoy,

I was pleasantly surprised with every aspect of Pera Bistro. Carefully prepared dishes made with high quality ingredients and thoughtfulness. Larger then expected portions on appetizers and main courses. Warm and inviting dining area with just the kindest, most patient wait staff, who were more then accommodating when I informed them of my dairy allergy. It did take slightly longer then usual for the food to come out, but it didn't really matter since it was so cozy and relaxing in the dining room, and I'd rather have the kitchen take their time and cook with care. Drinks from the bar were also delightful and priced right. Really a lovely experience all around, and priced very fairly for the level of quality received. Looking forward to eating here in the future!

Set in the quaint town of Williamstown at the base of Mt. Greylock is this Mediterranean delight. We started with the creamy hummus and perfectly spiced muhammara with a side of freshly baked (and warm) baguette. My wife had the Mediterranean baked cod and I was well-fed with one each of a chicken kebab and a lamb kebab. The staff is what really made the difference for our experience. The hostess was so pleasant and could be seen doing multiple tasks all around the restaurant. Our waiter, Tyler was kind and attentive making sure we had what we needed.
Vinnie Haney — Google review
The food here is about 3-. Nothing is GREAT and nothing is TERRIBLE, it's about what you would expect at a Mediterranean restaurant in Williamstown, Massachusetts. Unfortunately the vibe and service are ATROCIOUS. We went in for lunch, it wasn't particularly busy but it was mostly full, a sort of normal lunch situation. It took 15 minutes to get our menus. Then it took 15 more minutes to be able to order. Then it took over ONE HOUR to get our food. In the midst of all this, we were politely asking about our food's whereabouts, and clearly other patrons were also asking. All of a sudden, in a situation reminiscent of a scene from a movie, the sort of casual din of the conversation is interrupted by INSANE SCREAMING from the owner in the kitchen yelling at kitchen staff and waitstaff just out of the view of the dining room, echoing throughout the entire restaurant. The entire restaurant went silent in shock. We were horribly embarrassed for the owner and felt terribly for the waitstaff.

Arrived @1:30 for lunch. No other diners for the entire time we were there. 1 waiter, who couldn't get the order correct - found it more important to stand around & chat up the female "hostest"! We asked for root beer were brought real beer, my coffee came Luke warm, saucer filled with coffee & no spoon! I ordered Pera salad and requested bread, my brother ordered the Norwegian salmon. My salad arrived quickly with a dish of toasted pita - not bread - useless to say anything! I finished my salad & We waited. Waiter continued to chat away with the hostess! I noticed the cook popped out & asked if he was going to pick up his order! He still continued chatting, he finally came over & asked if I was ready for my entree. I responded I had told you I was only having salad & the salmon was for the gentleman! He cleared my plate, and eventually brought out the salmon-Luke warm! This was by far the worst dining experience I've had at Pera - where we have been dining for years! Very disappointing- we shall NEVER go back!! Don't understand - are there new owners, is the owner away in Turkey, or what!!

6 House Pub is a charming and inviting restaurant located in Massachusetts that offers a cozy, cottage-like atmosphere with visually appealing decor. The staff is accommodating and friendly, providing fast service to ensure an enjoyable dining experience. The food is highly praised for its excellent quality and generous portion sizes. Diners have raved about the delicious trout dip special, carefully prepared meals, and inspired drink offerings. The Easter menu featured several delectable options, with the lamb chops being particularly outstanding.
I’ve been coming to the 6 House Pub for years, first with my family and now with my boyfriend. I cannot write enough good things about it! The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is so lovely and thoughtful. The atmosphere is incredibly cozy, especially after skiing (which is usually what I do before going to the pub.) My boyfriend and I just visited again last weekend, and we were treated in the best way all three nights we visited the pub. Be sure to get the New England Clam Chowder, cheese curds, wings, seafood pasta, chicken parm, and honestly literally anything on the menu, as it’s all delicious.

$10 dollars for mozzarella 'moons' and in the picture I get this. $2 dollars per stick, if I wanted mozzarella sticks, I would made the ones at home that I have a box of from Farm Rich that was $8 dollars for 30. I think it would be good idea to fix that on your menu, that way you are not misleading customers on what they are buying. I wouldn't have bought it if I was told what it was otherwise. I guess prices changed for the meals I ordered, but again, no incentive to update their menus. The second picture kind of infuriates me. People do want to work but are waking up to the fact they are paid poorly, receive minimal benefits, having bad insurance, etc. People are struggling to find an employer that treats them fairly and actually pays a livable wage. In this industry alone, it's okay and legal to push the burden onto me and customers to supplement the server's wage. It's becomes a moral obligation at that point to help the person out because the employer won't. Rather than complaining about people not wanting to work, you may want to practice self reflection. It may help you recognize strategies and solutions to your hiring issue.

We went here for Easter dinner. A party of four. We were seated immediately by a very friendly hostess who was also our server. The Easter menu had several options and we each picked a different one. Our drinks were served quickly and our salads came out shortly after we placed our orders. Everyone of us loved our meals. I had the Lamb chops, omg they were delicious. The Roasted Carrot soup was outrageous. Allie took excellent care of us and we will definitely be coming back.

Had dinner with my wife and nice here recently. Every corner of the pub is comfortable and inviting. The food is very good. The trout dip special was spectacular. If they're still serving it when you get there, order it . I had the Caesar salad with real anchovies and was delighted to taste that the dressing was made, not poured from a bottle. The other meals were prepared with care and served with care as well. Drink offerings were inspired and tasty.

Had dinner here last night. Wonderful experience all around. Sitting in the wing chairs is like having dinner at a friends house. Seafood pasta was fantastic. Lots of seafood and tender angel hair. House marinara is great as were the house made salad dressings. Just a wonderful time. Can't wait to come here again.

The 6 house pub is one of my favorite restaurants. Their food is really good. There is at least three meals I really like. We have not had a bad meal from there. The service is a different story. We have had mistakes in our orders at least two out of every three times we have ordered. One time I ordered a full Cesar salad and they forgot to put it in the bag. Another time they told us it would be at least an hour before we can pick up our take out order. some times when I order a pasta meal it is suppose to come with bread. It is about a 50/50 shot of getting bread with my pasta dish. Last Sunday they were open, when I called them this Sunday they told me they were closed on Sundays! I really like the food at the 6 house, I just wish they would get their act together. They could easily be a 4 1/2 star restaurant.

I usually like going here, but this Saturday was an off day. First the non shoveled path from the side parking lot was very treterous. It wasn't until we reached the door did we see the main walk path to the door. I had the black raspberry chicken which was good. Potatoes were great as usual. My wife had a creamy chicken and noodle dish, like an Alfredo, but it was very bland. No flavor. I had to ask the waiter 3 times to fill my water which he did without complaint. Just wish he anticipated it. I like the Progression Brewery selection which no one in Berkshire county can match. It would be nice to get a 16 oz pour rather than a 12 oz. All in all, not their best effort, but I am sure we will be back. For those of your readers who haven't been there, the French onion soup and chowder, which we didn't have this time, is usually excellent!

My husband and I come here every few months for date night. It's been one of our favorite places for 10 years. The last two times we've come here, the service has been quite poor. Last week, we came in and waited at the booth to be seated. We were seated in our usual spot and then were forgotten about. None of the servers came by to take our orders, bring us water, tell us to hang tight? One server stood across the room at her station playing on her phone, and the other seemed to have all the other tables to take care of. And yet one more appeared and disappeared every so often, must have been taking care of the outside seating. We waited 29 minutes before we got up and left. Nobody acknowledged us as we left either. It's unfortunate because this was one of my favorite places to go, and I love the old barn feel inside. But after having this happen twice, I think we'll go elsewhere from now on.

For a cozy, comfy chair lounge around and eat your dinner spot, this was just the ticket. We were seated right away, despite the place being quite full and then the burgers were superb! Catering to a dairy allergy and getting it just right made a really nice meal. Oh, and I should mention the fries! Soft in the middle and extra crispy on the outside.

We are from out of the area so while visiting MA we wanted to stop at as many restaurants as possible. This was by far my favorite of the week. We went here with a party of 6 for a birthday. Everyone was impressed! Excellent food, great portion sizes. Accommodating, friendly staff, fast service. Gorgeous, cozy, cottage-feel decor and atmosphere with plenty of visuals to look at around the restaurant. I took my left overs home and it was still so delicious the next day! Great wine, beer, and cocktails selections and the restaurant smells so nice because they have scented candles burning all over. We will definitely revisit 6 House Pub if we are in the area again!!

Excellent food! We dropped in for lunch and enjoyed the turkey burger (with cranberry sauce, grilled pears, and feta) with sweet potato fries (so crispy) and the buffalo chicken wrap (with blue cheese) and coleslaw. We also tried the cider (which is apparently from Croatia). The food was too notch and the cider wonderfully refreshing (though a bit on the sweet dude form my taste) given the lovely sunny weather. I'd definitely return.

Stopped in here on a short stay in the area. Seafood pasta was delicious and plenty for both my husband and I to share. The staff were also very friendly and the venue is a really pretty old barn! However, the drink selections were very disappointing and way overpriced. Drink menu did not have prices so we were a bit shocked to see almost $15 each when our tab came.

We've passed by this place too many times to count. Talk about missing out for years! We finally stopped for dinner on a random evening passing through. Fajitas and enchiladas were absolutely incredible and tasted like authentic Mexican, not like TexMex or some random American "Mexican" take on a classic. Margaritas are GENEROUS so keep that in mind. So affordable too, considering how much you get. Management approaches your table to make sure you're being taken care of, staff are so attentive and have a good sense of humor. Best part: most of the staff spoke Spanish with us, and as learners we appreciated the opportunity to practice our Español with them. We will absolutely be coming back and almost didn't want to write this review for fear they'll get so popular there won't be any seats left; but, they deserve the great review! Muchas gracias! Muy delicioso!

Very, very delicious Enchiladas Oaxaca with a savory mole sauce. We ordered extra to go! The margaritas are huge and strong. We will go out of our way to come back here to eat. There’s an outdoor seating area (it’s too cold out now, though) and the restaurant is nestled next to a creek and surrounded by trees.

Food is always good here, service was by many different staff but all were attentive & we never waited for anything. Seated near a noisy party so hard to hear each other at our table, perhaps space the tables a little more apart otherwise it's always a good choice. Margaritas were great!

We enjoyed an excellent meal, with great service. This is authentic Mexican cuisine, with its European influence. The Shrimp Nayarit was superb with a brothy sauce enveloping a generous portion of shrimp. The flautas were also very good, with a touch of slightly sweet seasoning. The pretty plates included lightly dressed mixed greens, crunchy vegetables and a small fluted shell of delicious guacamole. Very fine food indeed, priced reasonably for the quality. Highly recommend.

Water Street Grill is a cozy and casual bar and grill that serves traditional American dishes along with a wide selection of craft brews on tap. Customers have praised the delicious food, extensive beer and liquor menu, and friendly service. Some recommended dishes include the Reuben with waffle fries, burgers, pub pretzels, fried calamari, pesto chicken, fish & chips, and truffle fries.
My veggie burger was so good, words can't do it justice. My sweet potato fries were fried to perfection and eating them transported me to another world. My water was spectacular as water goes and the ice didn't leave an aftertaste. Don't even get me started on the caprese salad, I mean, my gosh it was out of this world each piece of mozzarella was sliced to perfection and the tomatoes were ripe and delicious. The service was superb our waitress was awesome. I love everything.

My boyfriend and I found The Water Street Grill on Google when we were in the area looking for a late Saturday lunch. We walked in and quickly sat at the bar. The service was fast and all of the drinks were delicious. I had the pesto chicken and my boyfriend had the fish & chips. Both meals were fantastic. The fries were very crispy and the fish was cooked perfectly. The ciabatta roll was very fresh and the sandwich was seasoned nicely. It the a perfect stop during a long motorcycle ride! We will definitely be back!

A great restaurant to spend your evening at. Very busy so we had to wait 30 minutes to get a table but it was well worth the wait. Food was great and so was the service! The sound level was a bit loud but I blame that on the 6 kids with very loud parents at the next table 😉 (the kids were actually kinda quiet). But seriously! This is a restaurant for everyone. And the food was great! Friendly staff, good food and good selection of beers made our evening!

Incredible, hands down some the best food I’ve ever had. I ordered the Hibachi steak, the teriyaki sauce really made the dish shine. My fiancé ordered the barbecue chicken sandwich. Where to start??? The sides I ordered included wild rice and garlic mashed potatoes, I could have ordered just these two things on their own and been more than satisfied. The quality of the ingredients is apparent. The ciabatta bread that the chicken sandwich was served on was fantastic. Don’t forget to try the homemade waffle fries! Didn’t grab dessert because we were both so full from dinner but next time will save some room, because they also looked delicious! I wish we had food of this caliber back home!

The food was very good! The price for 7 people and we got 3 appetizers and those were excellent truffle fries are amazing! Our server was beyond skilled and even took the family photos! The building is a little loud for conversations, yet we all had a great time and amazing food!

Went there for the first time today. I got the Reuben with waffle fries, my wife got a burger. We also got the pub pretzels and fried calamari for appetizers. The food was absolutely delicious! The fried calamari however was a tiny bit over, making it a little rubbery, and the Reuben could have the pastrami chopped a little smaller. All in all, great food, just minor gripes. The server was fantastic and friendly service was quick and without issue. The beer and liquor menu was extensive, and amazing! If we’re in the area again, will definitely go back!

Good food. the take out/bartender is fantastic. Other than that, staff and service is par. I enjoy the atmosphere. The prices are high for what you get. Overall, I feel like they could do better!

Solid recommendation by our hotel to stop in for dinner and drinks. Laid back atmosphere and enjoyable place to relax at. Had chicken tenders, and a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were very good. Great beer selection from areas in Maine, NY, and Massachusetts.

Good place! Working in the ares, a local suggested Water Street. Service was great. Food was very good. Love the old smaller building, great ambiance. Definately laid back. Will return!

Stopped in for dinner. My boyfriend ordered the California chicken sandwich with waffle fries. I ordered the fish and chips. The place was very loud. Waitress was super nice and friendly. Food was delicious. Portions were big. Wasn't a bad experience. Would possibly go back.

A tavern atmosphere with a kitchen that is not afraid of flavor! My Caesar salad was excellent, and the clams were fresh and beautifully cooked with fresh herbs, topped with a sprinkle of cheese, surprisingly delicious. Alongside draft Maine Lunch IPA, a smooth favorite.

Went for lunch with my family including my elderly father who is not very steady on his feet. The restaurant is accessible even though there are a few steps inside the restaurant. The food was fantastic! Our server was patient and kind to my dad who likes to give everyone "a hard time". I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

I enjoyed the food and the overall atmosphere. The menu was a good size but everything sounded so good it took awhile to decide . Eventually I decided on fried calamari and a stuffed portobello mushroom sandwich with sweet potatoes fries. Everything was great. The only downside was the condition of the bathrooms and upon entering it seems to only have room for 1 way traffic with two lanes. Aesthetically it needs an update. Great for a quick lunch

College town beer pub with good food options. We had a wild salmon grilled with a sesame glaze with 2 sides (22.99) a generous helping of cole slaw and waffle fries which weren’t as greasy as you’d expect. The salmon was fine and slaw tasted vinegary and dressing was not creamy but simpler. We also shared a Caesar salad which had a non traditional vinegary oily dressing, not the typical eggy creamy garlicky one. Not bad just not what I would expect. The croutons were from a package. Generous romaine lettuce (11.99). Wait staff was awesome — perfect experience with this young man. Good atmosphere and not crowded on a weekday evening. I’d go again and order a sando or one of their specialties.
