American restaurant
Buttercup Restaurant is a well-liked establishment in Natick, Massachusetts that specializes in soul food. It is a popular destination for those seeking classic Southern cuisine. Their menu features delectable dishes such as beef short rib and buttermilk fried chicken. If you're feeling adventurous, you can try their unique fried catfish po boy served with homemade tartar sauce.
I simply can’t say enough good things about Buttercup! The staff, food, and drinks are all EXCELLENT! Love it here so much I couldn’t have imagined having my engagement party anywhere else (10/10 would recommend them for your next event). It is classy but so fun and all around wonderful.

Always a great meal! The staff is friendly and attentive, the room is comfortable, and the food is fantastic. Start with the lavender corn bread or the grilled watermelon salad, then try the halibut or short ribs, end with strawberry rhubarb cobbler. What's not to love?
John Curry — Google review
The restaurant was super cute and cozy, the drinks, atmosphere, and food was amazing. The service was fast barely had to wait for our food. My only complaint is the portion size there were smaller than I expected!
Laury Cadet — Google review
I give Buttercup 3 stars for the service, vibe and aesthetics but I wish I could be as enthusiastic about the food and drinks. The prime beef short ribs with pappardale pasta was cooked well but definitely lacked seasonings and flavor. Oyster mignonette sauce was watery/flat. The drinks were strong but not great. And both their brownie and bread pudding desserts were served room temp, dry and hard. Would’ve been nice if they were warmed. Sad to say, I don’t think I’d be going back.

You know that famous restaurant scene in "When Harry Met Sally?" That was me. For real though trying to control the food moans and utter bliss I was experiencing from every bite I took. Perfection was sought through the artistic rendition of culinary creativity and gratefully achieved. Both of my parents are chefs, my brother went to the Culinary Institute of America. I've eaten at the best restaurants in Paris and had many memorable dishes in many countries. I can't say I've EVER had an ENTIRE MEAL that made me forget my troubles and lose myself in every bite I took. This restaurant MADE their own cocktail sauce. It was so delectable, that for the first time in my life, I put cocktail sauce on every oyster and relished the experience. I've had a lot of oysters in my life. The CORNBREAD! OMG. Oh God I swear I'm not exaggerating. I bit into a piece with a smear of the ricotta spread and lavender honey and continued to try to control the noises of utter joy coming out of my body. I was so happy I remember thinking the world could end then and there and I'd be ok with that. The cornbread was perfectly moist without being cakey and still tasted like cornbread. The beets were heavenly. A mix of different types of beets over a generous spread of well whipped ricotta. So refreshing and ecstasy generating with each bite. I ordered the Tiger Shrimp Risotto with Poisson Sauce and Chili Flakes. I'm getting a tingle down my spine recalling every bite of this dish. It came in a warm dish hot off the stove. It's very easy to screw up risotto and shrimp. They didn't. The shrimp were plump and juicy, the risotto was cooked just right and the SAUCE. Oh I had my reservations about ordering risotto with a sauce but it was heavenly. I was full halfway through but I didn't care I kept eating. There was also fresh spinach which I loved. Oh God I'd eat that dish every day for the rest of my life. We also had the short rib which was so tender. The service was phenomenal. Eat here. Now.

Can't say enough about our experience at Buttercup. My husband and I have been wanting to check this place out for a while and finally got the chance. Everything was wonderful! The service, the food, the ambiance, the staff. A well-oiled machine. Our waiter was so accommodating. He made great recommendations and did not rush anything. It was such a relaxing dinner. We had the pleasure of meeting the chef/owner, Dora. A genuine, passionate, welcoming, talented woman. We will return, many times. Thank you for a memorable dinning experience.

Delicious meals. One of the best in Natick. Fresh ingredients and friendly service. Make sure you rsvp well ahead. Highly recommended.

Overall the food was excellent. The oysters and halibut were very fresh and well prepared. We also enjoyed the fried chicken as it was moist and served with a fried green tomato. The most outstanding part of our dinner our server, Claire! She was one of the best servers we have ever had. The restaurant was very busy but she managed to give us the utmost attention and was extremely pleasant. Amazing how important service is to making the dining experience stand out. Thank you Claire!

Love this restaurant! Great energy and vibe. The food and service were outstanding— and the place was packed! The craft cocktails were incredible. Can’t wait to come back.
Tom Riley — Google review
Just moved here from Nashville, this place is a must!! Their own take on Southern cooking and it was delicious. My wife had the halibut and she really enjoyed it. I had the fried chicken and fried green tomatoes it was also really good. Of course we ordered the fried pickles, oysters, tomato and burratta stack and cornbread to start lol we're foodies. Portions are small on the apps but that's good because I would have easily filled up with what we ordered but the portions are a good amount for just two people to share.
Ciara Doherty — Google review
Nice restaurant in downtown Natick! My husband loved the scallops but for $32 there were only 4. I ordered the chicken which was tasty but the fried green tomatoes tasted plain. Otherwise, the cocktail was good and the service was great. We enjoyed our dinner. It’s just a bit pricey for what you get.
K K — Google review
Decent place - very good service. The food is fresh and tasty but lacks real flair.corn bread tasted ok but seemed like it had other flour in it. Beet salad’s beet was not tasty…short rib was good and fish tacos were average. Buttermilk chicken was good. The fruit crisp was good and brownie was ok. The cocktails were not bad.
Ajith Vasudevan — Google review
Great restaurant with locally sourced, delicious food. I ordered the fried squash blossoms, bread platter, vegetable risotto, and seasonal sangria— all which were incredible.
Shayla DeGeorge — Google review
This is a very popular restaurant and the food definitely speaks for itself. Wonderfully fresh and well presented dishes, the halibut was incredible. Gluten free apps & desserts are slim and lacking. Last night was our second visit and service was poor again. Our waitress barely attended to us and never asked how our entrees were. We needed to flag her down for drinks. Water also wasn't filled timely and we asked any staff that passed our table. When she did come by our table she was a bit clumsy hitting a glass when removing dishes or knocking into the table. I don't know if they don't have enough staff to properly attend diners but at an upscale restaurant like this, it isn't acceptable. It's also SO noisy that you can't even hear your dinner guests. Unfortunately, between the service and noise level it's not an environment we'll try again.

Such a fun experience! We had a great time picking apples, pears and peaches. There is lots of shaded trails thanks to the grapevines. There is an abundance of fruit to pick from. We also enjoyed the delicious apple cider donuts. Very friendly and helpful staff. We will be back!

Great vibes for the fall season. They have five varieties of apples to pick from and the walk through these orchards is well laid out. Some grape vines in between, but you cannot pick grapes. One person in our party got excited about it and jumped to pick them, then the staff told us not to. 😂 You pick bags are $20 with online purchase($24 for walk-in). Plenty of Gala, Macintosh and Golden apples, the other two types were limited. We came home with at least 10 apples/person. There’s also dining area, they sell ciders, beer and pizza. The brisket sandwich 🥪 is everything you want it to be! Meaty, juicy with the perfect amount of salt. We also picked their peach jam from the farm, super fresh and tasty. You can spend a whole day here and have fun. 🥳

Just. Don’t. Go. Overpriced farm compared with other farms in the area. $30 - $35 for entry is steep for what you get - actually for what you don’t get. (Also $15 for purchasing a pumpkin is ridiculous too!) - no tractor rides - you’ve gotta walk miles to even get to the playground or corn maze. - playground and corn maze are miles away from the entrance - all the way towards the back of the farm. - playground was sadly dated. Wood structures - specifically the play tree house had lots of deteriorating wood. - haphazard playground that is not geared towards kids having a good time. - just a bunch of random decorations. - Lookout beer is mediocre. - apple farm is immature. Small trees. - only positive if you live in Boston is that it’s close - distance wise. Staff is a mixed bag. Old timer staff is great. The young staff members are uniformly rude and unhelpful.
Nathaniel — Google review
Overall a good place for a group gathering. Pros: plenty of apples, pears and peaches to pick from. The trees are small, so you don’t have to worry about people injuring themselves. Great place for physical activity, taking Instagram pictures. 90% the fruits are in great conditions. Cons: expensive entry fee. There’s no way those bags can hold 15 lbs of fruits. My bag broke. There are many fruits wasted on the ground... Overpriced restaurant food. Parking takes forever if you visit on a Saturday afternoon. Watch out for the bees near the pear trees, and ants on the peach trees.
Rocephin W — Google review
Have to say it’s a nice farm with varieties of fruits to pick by seasons. They have outdoor dining and live music on weekends . But the steep price to enter and buy a bag .. price for a tiny bag on weekdays is $36 bucks which will store only maybe 8 apples is the most . It’s ridiculously overpriced for a tiny bag. Not even worth it to come here if you’re into apple picking. There’s better places out there that provide double the size of the bag .
vu t — Google review
Apple picking is sure fun! This review is mainly on the cafe. Had ordered the roasted pumpkin cranberry salad, fries and chicken sandwich. Everything tasted good and ambience was fun. Good place to hangout especially with kids.

This place is fantastic. Great ciders, wicked good pizza, I had the pulled pork, eggs and hashbrowns for brunch and was blown away. The seating is excellent on a beautiful day and it's good for families or an afternoon date.( that's what I did with my wife) 10/10 would recommend
Dante Avarista — Google review
Having been to 5-6 farms outside the Boston area- this is probably my least favorite of all the ones I’ve visited- mainly being the outrageous prices. $30/person for admission to the apple orchard and you’re handed the most hilariously small bags to pick from. The cans of cider were also super expensive- $26 just to drink 2 cans of mediocre cider. The breakfast pizza was pretty solid but the chicken biscuit was disappointingly dry. Trying to go through the different types of apples involves a LOT of walking with no option to take a hat or tractor ride. $7.50 for 3 donuts that didn’t even seem fresh. Overall spent way more money than I would have liked - go anywhere else for your fall farm experience
tia conover — Google review
The $20 admission fee (for ages 3 and above) might seem steep, especially if your group consists mainly of adults. Additionally, there's an extra $20 charge per bag for fruit picking. However, this admission fee provides access to a wide array of captivating attractions, including a sprawling 2-acre corn maze, a picturesque sunflower field, and an engaging barnyard play area. These activities offer plenty of enjoyment for both children and families, although if the adult-to-child ratio is high, it might not offer the best value. Overall, it's a delightful place to visit with amiable staff. However, I feel compelled to recount a specific incident involving a manager whose name starts with "Ma." While we were in the u-pick area, she was seated in a golf cart at the far end, observing us. Despite challenging conditions, such as scorching sun and tired parents holding sleeping children, she repeatedly directed us towards the exit. Unfortunately, she did not open the makeshift gate leading to the "lookout" restaurant, forcing us to take a lengthy detour back to the restaurant. Was she technically in the wrong? Not necessarily. However, it did not align with the typical expectations of a "family farm," where one might anticipate a greater degree of understanding about the challenges families face in such situations. She conducted herself professionally but lacked the extra touch of empathy that can make a family outing truly exceptional.
Vincent Chan — Google review
This farm is beautiful and seems like a very well-oiled machine. We went with friend last weekend after looking for a orchard within driving distance from Boston. It was a beautiful day, and everything seemed very well-organized and I appreciated the parking attendants directing everyone where to go, signage, etc. It was a September Saturday so I do not blame them for being swamped, 'tis the season in New England. The issue I DID have however, was that every person age 5+ is required to purchase a bag to pick apples, with the smallest one being $24. Yes, that's the most I have ever paid for apples, but the world is expensive and literally everyone has had to raise their prices, it's just one of life's necessary evils. However I think it's really disappointing that everyone has to purchase a bag. My husband and I spent $48 right off the bat before doing anything (we have a 2 year old, and the three of us can only eat so many apples!). I would have preferred to purchase one larger bag for our family instead of us being forced to each have one. Friends we were with felt the need to lie about their child's age and say she was four because they also did not need this many apples for their family. We had another adult friend with us who was just visiting for the weekend and is a flight attendant, who had to figure out some way to transport all these apples back with him only to fly out again and have them potentially go to waste. He was planning on just coming with us to enjoy the day, and he was forced to purchase an entire bag of apples he did not need. I don't really see how letting people walk around without a bag and just enjoy the space with others would be detrimental or cost the farm any extra money - they seemed to be doing just fine (and we did in fact spend even more money getting food, drinks, donuts, etc. I would have bought a caramel apple too - my favorite! - but the farm stand store was mobbed and literally sold out of everything). We had a nice time, but it was truly one of the most expensive family days we've ever had and I'm not sure it was worth the experience. I ran into a coworker while I was there who said she had been coming for years and like other reviewers, lamented the loss of the train and the playground and said that was a big reason her family loved coming there so much. In the future, I would stick to a smaller family farm, where you can get a similar experience for much less $$$ and with less rigid requirements for apple picking.
Lindsay Scouras — Google review
Took my mom here when she was visiting from India in 2018. We are from Mumbai so don't really have the experience of having our own farm and of such activities. She enjoyed the place to the fullest. The train that goes around the farm is real fun. It was fun mommy daughter day out. The Nectarines and Peaches are delicious. I plan to take her again sometime soon.
Zeba Darvesh — Google review
What a gem of a place to find! This is about 30 minute drive, and well worth it on a Sunday. The farm was well organized and properly labeled for patrons to know where the good pickings were. The fruit was delicious, as you would expect from a farm. They had cooked meals for sale and outdoor seating. Also plenty of portable bathrooms, and even a baby changing station. I could easily make a day of it here, and plan to return.
Colin McGibbon — Google review
This place has a lot to offer. You can reserve one of the tables, have lunch, hard ciders and beer. The food is really fresh, beer and cider flights are good and offer a wide variety of flavors. The staff is as good as it gets, everyone is walking around with a genuine smile. Hit the u-pick afterwards or the farm stand, the fruit is fantastic. They offer beer and cider four packs to go and you can pick single cans too.

Located in a modern setting adjacent to a bridal boutique, Minado Restaurant is an undiscovered treasure nestled in Natick. This local establishment offers a Japanese buffet, showcasing an array of seafood and traditional dishes. Patrons can indulge in unlimited servings of sushi, expertly crafted by their skilled sushi chef. With an impressive selection of sushi varieties and delectable options like steak teriyaki and udon soup, Minado satisfies even the most discerning palates.
Japanese restaurant serving delicious sushi, hibachi and buffet spread. This place is a favorite for many. Great variety of food for dining that attracts a diverse population of customers. The restaurant can accommodate a family or large group. I like the green tea ice cream with crepes at the end. Sanitary level is satisfactory. They provide gloves for customers to wear while getting food. 🍱 Only downside is that you cannot make reservations. I prefer to arrive in the evening when they open to avoid long wait times.

Arrived for dinner here at 545pm on a Monday. Its 29.99 per person for all you can eat sushi/seafood buffet. Not too busy, no wait. They have a great selection of food. The issue is the food was not good at all. I enjoy 10% of what I ate. I tried all the sushi. The rice was cold and did not seem fresh. The rest of the food seemed lacking ad well. The staff was kind and attentive. For 29.99, my expectations were higher for food quality. Desert is included, but it must be ordered.

Seafoods are relatively nice and fresh. The interior design is OK. Around 40 dollars per person for dinner included taxes.

Huge, clean restaurant with a ton of sushi selections, Hibachi, seafood and some Asian dishes. I found the sushi to be really good. I also enjoyed most of the seafood offerings. A few different crab selections. The fried soft shell crab was delicious. A few really good shrimp dishes. One of the fried shrimp still had its shell on. Teriyaki chicken was good. They also had fried smells that were delicious. Dessert offerings changed since the last time I was there. Green tea ice cream was really good. We got there 20 minutes before they opened. We were able to go inside and they have a waiting area. The restaurant filled really fast once they opened. Our waiter was great. Overall a good experience. Kids 12 and under get charged less.
Joe Healy — Google review
Minado used to have a separate lunch menu and dinner menu with more specialty options, and the price used to be under $20 for lunch and under $30 for dinner. Pandemic changed just like everything else changed in the world. Now, there is the same menu for lunch and dinner, and it's $32 for adults. Food options were much less than what they used to serve for the lunch menu, which was under $20. There are no dessert options at all. Only vanilla soft serve and some cookies provided at table. In the grill section, there was only one fish option. Rest all chicken and beef and fried items. Isn't this Japanese seafood place? Sushi options were there as before, but few trays were empty and didn't get refilled for a long time while I waited. Life has to move on, and so is the queue there, although no one was behind me on a busy Saturday. Overall price is up, quality is down, and options are way down. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for, but here, you don't. I have to rethink if I should go here again or find my next option for seafood.
Mahesh Shanmugam — Google review
A word of caution to the owners: as a returning customer- I think the quality is decent but I expect more for the price you pay. After tip and all that comes closer to 40$ per person. No drink included. For that price I don’t think the sushi should taste all the same… If something doesn’t change with your sushi quality, I am afraid you will slowly lose enough customers and you will be in enough trouble to influence your future in the restaurant business. You can do better, Minado.
C. S. — Google review
The restaurant was clean and very busy! Gloves were provided to diners for safety at the buffet lines. The selection of sushi was extremely varied and delicious. Servers were very attentive and helpful. The quality has really slipped at Minado. This restaurant used to be FANTASTIC! Now the signature dishes are cold and bland. The deserts used to be spread out for everyone to pick. Now they just have the server bring you a dramatically reduced option of ice cream and crepe. Hopefully they will try to return to their previous quality level when the pandemic is behind us.

It was a buffet with good quality. The food were flavorful and delicious. Our server was very attentive. It was a great Japanese buffet restaurant and I had time dining in with them. A 5/5 gastronomic experience.
thetravelercarl — Google review
All you can eat sushi, and other Asian foods (includes fried foods, rice, salads, soups) with crepes and soft serve ice cream for dessert. It's a middle tier quality place but at an extremely reasonable price so it's amazing for the audience it caters to. I used to come here a lot in my college years since Minado was the most affordable sushi for me at the time and now nostalgically like to revisit. Great for a lazy week-night dinner where everyone is feeling something different and you want to go out!

I had a great experience at Minado. The variety of sushi was impressive and the steak teriyaki was delicious. I also loved the udon soup. The fried shrimp, crab, and calimary were also tasty. High price

Mixed reviews for us. We had Becky as a watress, and she was awesome. My wife spilled a little sauce on her shirt, and Becky saw her trying to get it out and brought some soda water over. Wow. Above and beyond. She was very attentive and quick. If you want sushi, then go here. Lots to choose from. I don't, so I ate the other food. Fried shrimp with the shell still on - yuck. Vegetable tempura - yum. The oce cream machine was good. The food was at best average to me. Unfortunately, I tried it and won't be coming back. This place is busy!!
David Maguire — Google review
The interior looks identical to its now- closed Long Island restaurant, except that the sushi and hot food sections are reversed. The variety was definitely more limited than the NY location, lacking uni, salmon roe, and a myriad of other seafood that it used to have. On the bright side, however, the fish was super fresh and hot foods or salty.
Young Kim — Google review
The sushi buffet and variety of food restaurants have 90 mins time seating. It's the opposite of Natick Mall.
Mona Polprasert — Google review
Pros • Super Clean. • Family-friendly • Really good sushi for a buffet • Heaven for seafood lovers • The vanilla ice cream was a hit with my kid. Cons • Not great for vegetarians and non-seafood lovers • The fried noodles and fried rice did not taste good at all (they were cold and tasted like they had gone bad) • Food goes fast, if you snooze on something you might be out of luck. • It's pricey (unless you eat multiple plates of seafood/sushi)
aji dabest — Google review
Avoid wasting your money here. “Hot” food was not good. Emphasis on “hot” because none of it was. Everything was super cold. The crepes were not good and filled with artificial fruit. Meat was super tough & the chicken was soggy. Had a ramen option that included noodles left in hot water for too long causing them to be super soggy. Sushi buffet had some tasty options but was not the best and the raw fish did not taste fresh at all. The only good thing I can say is the soft serve ice cream was good and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Would not return.
Yami Rosario — Google review
expensive but the price is worth it for a tasty Chinese and Japanese buffet. really good sushi for a "buffet" and they make it right in front of you! awesome selection of other foods, grilled meats, dumplings, ect. come hungry and leave absolutely stuffed. they also still require masks when going up to the buffet, certain ways to walk in line and gloves when touching the tongs. very clean and safe with the protocols.

OGA'S Japanese Cuisine is a contemporary eatery located in a strip mall, featuring a chic interior and serving traditional Japanese dishes alongside an innovative sushi selection. Situated opposite a car dealership, it stands out as one of the few Japanese-owned establishments offering sushi in the vicinity. Critics applaud the restaurant for its impeccably fresh and visually enticing sushi creations. Additionally, patrons appreciate the diverse range of hot options available on OGA's menu, such as their delectable udon noodles.
Great selection of Japanese food. Variety of sushi and hot dishes. As an avid udon fan, I got the udon and was not disappointed. The noodles were perfectly cooked, bouncy. Broth was light and delicious. Vegetable choices were excellent. Tempura was crunchy, though would have preferred it served on the side so the soup wouldn’t make it soggy. Portion overall was great. My friend ordered a raw beef and miso dish that was served over a small coal fire that cooked the beef in front of us. Pretty unique dish, and she said it was delicious. The restaurant itself was very aesthetic. The interior is clean and well decorated. The dishes came in aesthetic plates/bowls/etc. Attention to detail in terms of the dishes really added to the experience.

The food here is always delicious and well balanced. Everything from booking your reservation, to table service is great. Even for larger parties! The sushi rolls are very fresh. Reminds me of my time in Japan. A hidden treasure.

Really a 4.8...4.9 Excellent food, we got the scorpion roll, spider roll, dragon roll and the spicy scallop roll. Highly recommend if you like sushi rolls. Little to no wait to be seated or for our order, very clean. Lots of selection for food. The only improvement I could see is maybe having an expanded drink menu, but that's minor because there's a good selection of sake and Japanese whiskey. Definitely will be going back and recommending to friends.

This was my first time here and I was very pleased with the food. I ordered Sushi Dinner for takeout and it was excellent. Very high quality. I've visited other sushi places in the area and this was the best. I will definitely be returning. It seemed the most authentic. 👍😁 I also got a California roll 😉

The food here was really good. I had a Philadelphia roll (no judgements please), chirashi and the kushiage dinner. Everything was really good and tasty although some pieces of the sushi were pretty small (salmon) while others were large (tuna). If you get the kushiage you may want to ask for extra sauce.

We came for a take out and one of the of them was mine which was called B-29 from the QR code Menu. Both of our sushi were delicious 🤤 My sushi was huge. If you are looking for authentic sushi, I recommend you this place. Coming back here for dine-in someday. *B-29 large sushi (on the right photo)

Just discovered this place last week after moving to Natick in April. This is my new go-to sushi place. Sushi is by far my favorite food so I will be coming here a lot. The place is in an inconspicuous looking building on route 9 but inside it is nicely designed, feels calming, and is immaculately clean for a restaurant. The service is great and the sushi is on-point. Definitely a good spot and I would recommend it to anyone that loves sushi and is in Metrowest.

Ate here a couple of times and each time not impressed. I guess the place has been here a really long time based on the old news clippings on the entrance wall. Not sure if the original chef is still there. I’m not a big fan of raw fish, can’t give any opinion on those dishes. What I can say is the dishes we had were not memorable. Maybe because atmosphere felt like an empty floor. Kind of load and not much decor and kind of dark. The dude next to us was eating alone and after he was done felt the need to speak loudly on his phone to impress people with his social life. Don’t be like that guy and eat alone here. Also don’t bring your date here because not everyone likes sushi or bring them here if you don’t want it to be memorable.

We love this place. I think it has slipped a little in the last few years. I would have rated it 5 stars 4 years ago. Be careful - a 10 piece sushi dinner "Market Price" was $66. They need to b more transparent with their prices or some diners like my family will never return.

I used to live in Japan, and I've eaten at many Japanese restaurants, but this one was not only authentic but delicious! We had the ultimate bento box, which is perfect for someone like me who wants to try everything. The rolls were yummy. And I even liked the natto. And I have always HATED natto! Our server was very friendly and accomdating. This place is a gem!

Always our old go to place! We moved to the Cape and are seldom back in Natick. Well we were tonight and man did it pay off. I got my favorite Linguine and white clam sauce...... The best I've ever had, always was and it didn't disappoint. Bravo! So good. Every meal was perfect. Thanks everyone!

I haven’t been here in years and came in for lunch this week and it was just as good as I remember! I got the chicken parm sandwich and my sister got the eggplant and both dishes were so good! Very good size portions. It was a Wednesday late lunch right before dinner so it wasn’t busy and the service was great! Definitely recommend it here!

Enjoyed a fabulous dinner this past week for a friend's engagement dinner party. Service was efficient and professional and polite. Food was delicious. The mushroom soup the best I have ever had and the fish tacos never disappoint! Thank you for a lovely dinner out.

Have lived in the area for four years and am disappointed it took me until tonight to get dinner here! The service was excellent; fast and friendly. The bread to start was soft and delicious. I then had Italian wedding soup which was excellent. A Caesar salad which was very good. Lastly, I got probably the best chicken parmesan I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back soon.

The food was excellent as usual however the service was terrible. Our salad was sitting waiting to be brought to the table, our entree was delivered and when we realized okay there’s no salad, we decided to find the server and let her know to just disregard it all together. The entire staff was sitting 2 tables away and I stood in front of the table waiting for someone to ask me what I needed…when I asked the server to just take it off the bill as it never arrived she said “no, it’s coming.” The server checked in once after we were done eating while listening to the manager speak to the servers loudly right behind us…Im not sure what the service industry has turned into but I’m pretty sure this is sub par. Food has always been great on the good side. Food gets 6 stars if that we’re possible.

We went in last Friday. We had 6:15 reservations and tickets to an 8:00 show at TCAN , which should have been plenty of time. The waitress was obviously having a tough time that night and wasn’t getting a lot of support. Right after she finally took our food order (almost an hour after we sat down) she walked out!! A new waitress had to take our order and start all over. She was the only one that apologized. Management was nowhere to be found. We had about 10 minutes to eat then had to take it all to go. I won’t go here again - the food was good the next day but it was ridiculous that management never acknowledged any of this for any of the tables that were effected.

This rating is for the service we received from Melissa, the bartender. We have been here before, we don't expect gourmet food. We came to have a drink and dinner and watch the Celtics. Sunday, 5pm, we came in and sat at the bar where there was one other couple at the bar and another at a high top in the bar area, not busy. We were ignored for several minutes and then she looked over at us and I asked a question about one of the beers on tap, she said "Well, it's an IPA" ok, yes, I know, but? She poured a taste for us, mostly foam. I ordered a different beer and my husband ordered a drink. She asked if we wanted menus and we said yes please. Another high top sat down and she brought them menus and a basket of bread. We noticed that the other parties all had bread. After we ordered our meals She took the menus and walked away. We waited a few minutes and then I asked if we could please have some bread. She didn't answer, but went and got some. Our meals came quickly, but we had not received the side salads that come with them. We mentioned it to the server (not the bartender) and he said "Are you sure you didn't get them?" WHAT? So Melissa came over and when he asked her about it and she said "You didn't say you wanted salad" and I said "The meal comes with a salad, do we need to request it?" The young man brought us our salads. Clearly Melissa didn't like us upon first sight. I don't know why, we were friendly and polite from the moment we sat down. I can venture a guess, but not going to go there. I had made a vow to not do any negative reviews during these difficult times for restaurants, but this was really uncomfortable and unpleasant. I actually made a "jokey" comment "Well, I guess she doesn't like us" and she just ignored us thoroughly. We finished and she gave us our check. We paid and left her a 20% tip because it's the right thing to do. I'm sure she thought we'd stiff her. It's one thing to have a bad day, but she was friendly and polite to all the other customers and everyone else got bread and salads. We definitely will not return.

We are four senior citizens who arrived for lunch on a recent Sunday shortly after 12 noon. We were the first seated. A rather rude waitress approached the table without introduction, greeting or smile and curtly asked, Drinks? We received our beverages and ordered lunch entrees, primarily veal. The restaurant filled up and we watched all of the other tables receiving salads and entrees. No explanation was ever given why we were not receiving our salads. We finally summoned the waitress after a long wait, and she said "They're being made" and walked away. Still no salads. Finally by 1:00pm, after nearly an hour wait, the most pathetic salads were brought, a few pieces of iceberg lettuce with two cherry tomatoes, not what I would expect at a restaurant of this caliber. Immediately, the entrees came. At this point, we stated that we were the first party seated for lunch and asked to see a manager. The waitress in a rude tone replied, " You can talk to me." She then walked away, leaving us in limbo. At this point, we decided to walk out. She called after us in a snotty tone " Have a nice day." I might add that two of us live in Natick and have dined here many times over the years, both with large groups of friends and smaller parties, and considered it one of our favorite restaurants. We have never before seen this young lady, and left stunned by the horrible treatment we received and would be hard-pressed to return. We were hungry and angry at this point, and ended up at Olive Garden, where we received amazing service.

I always love going to Agostino’s and I’ve been going for years. Everything is great when I go but whenever I order take out, they always mess it up. Last time they forgot the dessert and we went back to get it…. Tonight, the forgot the side salad and I was already home so did not want to go back. I called to tell them, which they say, come on back…. That’s not convenient. The whole point of take out is convenience and when it is constantly wrong it becomes more of a hassle than not…. Lack of attention to detail doesn’t help business. I am sure I’ll continue to go to Agostino’s, but only in person which I don’t go out a lot anymore…. We usually order take out. I would not recommend anyone ordering take out.

The food was pretty good! But definitely service is a 1 start. We never got our appetizer for the table. Also the cooked burgers were given to the wrong people at the table and no one got asked if we wanted a refill for our drinks so we just sat there with empty glasses because they never bothered to ask or check on how the table was doing.

DO NOT ORDER DELIVERY We were missing a whole meal. They accused us of lying, refused to send a replacement, and said if we wanted the food we would have to come and get it. As much as I love the food and have enjoyed dining in I will no longer be a customer. Time to find a new place.

We got there they had to sit us on the bar side because there was a party which is fine. We got seated and asked what we wanted to drink. She never came back with our drinks. So we got up and left and no one even noticed

Went to Agostino’s today and it was a great late lunch for us. The beet salad was quite nice and you can never go wrong with their spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs are quite large and especially good.
