Sights & Landmarks
Philippe Park is a large, tranquil park with a native American mound and playground. It's located in downtown Tampa on Franklin Street, just a few blocks from the Art Gallery of Hillsborough County. The park features trails and lush vegetation, making it perfect for biking or walking. There's also a fishing pond and plenty of picnic spots.
I enjoyed walking here so much. very peaceful and the sight seeing is very lovely. Couples were taking pictures, others reading a book right in front of the water, I loved meditating in front of the sandy area. it's a beautiful park and I'll be going again soon.

Beautiful park. I love the expansive water view and lush greenery. If you're adventurous enough to put your feet in the water [🙋🏽‍♀️] you can walk out on the boat launch. It seems like a popular place to just sit and have lunch while appreciating a gorgeous day.
Miss T — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous. One of the most beautiful parks I've been to, and it's FREE. Trails go throughout a huge park, with beautiful water and trees and nature. Even the man made sections fit so well in the park and look amazing. Most places only have stairs though, so be careful with wheelchairs.

My husband really loves to visit this park and I have come to love it too. We usually visit at later times during the day. But we're trying to beat the summer heat and humidity, so we woke up early and visited after 8 am. It was the perfect time of day to be there. It was cool, quiet and a great time for reflection on a Saturday morning. There were very few people going and coming. And the two we crossed paths with, were friendly walking their dogs and said good morning to us. We got hungry just walking uphill. The sun was already up. We sat on a bench where we could gaze at the water while listening to woodpeckers pecking away at nearby trees. As it started getting warm, I was still sleepy and needed fuel to get my energy up so we decided to go find breakfast. It was a short and sweet visit. A great start to our Saturday.

Phillippi Park is a beautiful place to spend time. Whether you like to go fishing just sitting enjoying the Harbor. Lots of beautiful trees. Picnic tables for your barbecue with use of charcoal grills for your convenience. Boat launch so don’t forget to bring your boat.

Hidden Gem. I went on 5th July around 4:30 PM. I hardly saw 5-6 people in such a beautiful natural place expanded so wide. Its really a cool place to picnic. Lot of parking spaces. It’s relaxing to sit here peacefully among nature. This is combination of forest, river or river walk. Saw some boat rentals also available.

Great place to take Senior Photos. Beautiful scenery. Easy parking and public restrooms close by. Lots of people with dogs! And check out the owls nesting in the trees.
Allan & Beth Black — Google review
I'm so glad this waterfront parcel was donated to the City decades ago and remains one of the best public parks in Pinellas County. You can spot an abundance of wildlife from dolphine to owls and other birds. The Indian mound is a great relic to climb to the top and lookout upon Tampa Bay while amongst the moss-filled oaks. It's a really special place.
Lindsey Brush — Google review
Very nice, clean park. Little bit of a drive from Tampa but we’ll worth it. If you approach a large tree with photographers around it….it’s an owl they are taking pictures of…with a baby..as of 2/8/22. Also have paddle boards you can rent. Will definitely be back!!

Cute place to hang out ! The park is huge so bring some water! They have water fountains around but just in case. The trail is crazy and the trees out there are beautiful! One of my favorite parks I’ve ever been to. Dog friendly of course and looks like they have some kayak rentals out there. There was one spot that said watch for wildlife but other than that seems pretty safe as far as animals goes.
Romjin Black — Google review
Beautiful park right in the heart of Safety Harbor. Perfect place to start a Saturday or Sunday morning and walk around by old Tampa Bay and down their meandering trails. You may even see a deer or a gopher turtle 🐢 Afterwords definitely check out downtown for a great place to eat like The Sandwich on Main.
Bridget Breland — Google review
Stunning park well worth a visit. Very clean! No trash about. Beautiful huge overhang trees dripping in Spanish moss. Clear water that we saw several stingrays swimming in. Some amenities are bbq grills, pavilions, picnic benches & bathrooms.
Christa Ritzler — Google review
This is a beautiful park with lots of trees water views of Upper Tampa Bay, an Indian Mound, Large playground, Picnic tables and shelters along with bathrooms. It also has a boat ramp. There is a short paved path along the bay near the Indian Mound. While it doesn’t have designated trails like other parks there is a nice two lane road heading south that connects to Bayshore Drive in Safety Harbor. Sadly the park needs some extra maintenance so it is not as pristine as it use to be. Great old trees and water views.
Charlene Mixa — Google review
I love seeing dolphins swim close to the beach wall. It's fun to walk up to the Indian Mound and enjoy the view. Also- great park for running, walking, biking , and hiking! Very peaceful!!
Apple Tree — Google review
The shelters are spacious, and they conveniently have public restrooms nearby. The views throughout the park of the water through the oak trees are so beautiful and relaxing. The walking trials allow you to see different wildlife. It is a good place for fishing. You can enjoy water sports since they have a dock and ramp. There are many areas that are great for pleinair artists. This park is one of my favorites in Pinellas County.

Philippe Park has been a very special place for me over the last few years. Every time I come here, it's like all the troubles and stresses of daily life just melt away. The beauty and the peace and quiet definitely speak to me, and I could understand why the Native Americans loved it so much! The view on top of the Indian mound is my favorite, and I always feel like I could stay up there forever!

A beautiful Waterfront Park. Lots of walking trails. Very well groomed Park. Lots of restrooms. Great place to walk your dog. Lot of parking. I go again.

While visiting my Aunt & Uncle in Dunedin my aunt and I spent a girls day out. She brought me here to see the Indian Mound and what a site. The entire park is beautiful

Day spa
Located on the beautiful shores of Tampa Bay, Safety Harbor Resort and Spa features traditional lodging as well as a 50,000-square-foot spa and fitness center. The resort has been known for its healing properties since ancient times, and its Vichy signature shower treatment is designed to release any tension in the body.
Still features one of the most elegant Sunday brunches in the area, although there are no real safety precautions which was a bit disappointing. Food is fresh and well -prepared with a wide assortment of breakfast and lunch/dinner fare. The buffet includes a free mimosa, unlimited coffee, hot or iced tea and soft drinks.

Got a superior room and used the spa. Honestly this 4 star rating is based on the older people we witnessed enjoying the place. We liked it just fine but being a bit on the younger side we found the place lacking in fun. Over the top decor was a fun plus, as was the multiple pools. cleanliness was passable. Spa staff was excellent but Hotel staff could have been friendlier. Location is hard to beat as the quaint town lies at your feet on one side and the harbour view at the other.
George Matta — Google review
We were in room 153, nothing special but it was clean. We stayed 7 days but didn't know we had access to the "spa" part of the facility until 1 day before we left. The outdoor pool was great and the bar at the pool was awesome, with great service. I would stay again and hopefully use the SPA next time. It's located right downtown, so you can walk to several restaurants and bars, all within half mile.
Tom Ellenburg — Google review
Was surprised with a birthday gift to the spa for any day fun day. But it was anything but fun. Firstly, who did my reservation never put my name down correctly. Not very welcoming. Check in desk was so cold and not very informative. I watched others get a tour while I had to figure everything out myself. Went to lunch and my waitress took my order never came back till I got her because I watched another spa guest get treated with the most welcoming hospitality. Our lunch comes with salad or soup. I was offered neither or even told. The other guest was. And checked on often unlike me. The bathrooms were dirty and so the lunch room. This hotel needs so much work. After lunch I paid for a pedicure and it was horrible. I watched others be treated well offered even water while my nail lady couldn’t color my nails correctly. Redid them twice. Only thing good was food and massage What a way to spoil my day and time. AND MONEY Don’t recommend for anyone.

Ate lunch with Bonnie here. My goodness they give you a lot of food. The Spa Cobb Salad was delicious. Bonnie got the crab cakes, 🦀 which was also very good 👍 😋. Our server was very good also. Fresh warm bread to eat while we waited. Beautiful day down on the water 💧 on Tampa Bay...

My wife found this resort since we needed a place to stay for a night ,but next time we come we will definitely stay for longer. It is located right in the downtown Safety Harbor area which is very charming. The grounds are beautiful and perfectly manicured. The resort itself has an elegant feel. The rooms are spacious and very clean and the furniture is all cherry wood and nicely maintained, no scratches and not cheap looking. There is ample parking and valet is only $15 a night. There are also plentiful amenities such as an indoor pool, sauna and whirlpool as well as two outdoor pools. Really enjoyed our stay.

I attended Easter brunch with a friend from New Mexico. We were both impressed. InThe service, food, music and ambiance were all excellent. There were many food options and we never felt rushed. I am also a spa member. The facilities are always being improved upon and management has listened to my input and suggestions. The free spa mineral water and coffee (in locker room) make my day. The Safety Harbor Resort is massive with a lot of moving parts and sections to enjoy. The resort food at the Fountain Grille is plentiful, reasonable and good quality. At times (weekends) the resort can be busy. I try to go early in the day to enjoy the amenities on weekends. In addition, the bay view and walking paths behind the resort add another layer of beauty. Last but not least, the staff and management work to please the customer. Check Safety Harbor Resort and Spa out!

The property is nice though the rooms are less than appealing . Our room had tiny ants and we were given a better room with a great view of the bay, However the wall by our balcony had mold on it and the furniture is extremely unattractive. We only stayed 1 night and due to shortness of time were unable to utilize the spa and pools which would have made up for the non specialness of the rooms. The staff were ordinary, neither friendly nor rude. I would look for a nicer place if in the area again.

This is a beautiful hotel and resort with the best Sunday Brunch with live music in the Greater Tampa Bay Area. Their selection is wonderful. My favorite items are oysters, lobster bisque (with chunks of lobster meat), curry seafood dish and the huge dessert selection. There is a whole section of the buffet dedicated for breakfast items (Eggs Benedict, pancakes, crepes, sausages and more). You will find an array of vegetables, salads and fruits. The buffet comes with one complementary glass of mimosa, but for a small charge, you can upgrade to unlimited mimosas or Bloody Mary’s. There’s something for everyone, old, young, vegetarians or carnivores! The staff is wonderful, attentive and friendly. It’s a beautiful location for any special event. Their various ballrooms are gorgeous and have a touch of the old world elegance. Being in Florida, they have a very causal dress code. It’s certainly a great brunch spot. One cannot find a better buffet for the price to value ratio they offer.

Went for Easter Brunch. 1st time ever at Safety Harbor Spa & Resort. The very beginning started the experience off badly with the Valet Parking. Wanted $15 upfront to valet park the car (mind you we already paid $158 for brunch (again up front). We only had a credit card and $10 cash (which we planned to use for the tip for valet). Paid at front desk after the valet attendant made us feel like we’d done something wrong by not having the cash up front. Then waited in a very long line for our 12:00 reservation (was seated at 1:00). Our server , Toni was FANTASTIC. Very attentive and friendly. She was the only bright spot and positive experience at the entire brunch. Food was mediocre at best. Certainly NOT worth $79.50 each. First time at their Easter Brunch and last time! By the way, we gave the ticket to have the car brought up. They did, but never bothered to tell us and when we decided to look after waiting a bit, the car was sitting in the exit drive, doors open and car running. No valet attendant in sight!
Tammy Schuering — Google review
We were lucky enough to get a king room poolside… Beautiful. From the valet upon arrival, who stood there, and stared at us and waited for us to ask if they could park our car- we felt like we were in the wrong place. We spent some time in the pool and at the Parthenon poolside tiki bar. While the bar team are lovely… They paid so much attention to people walking up from the pool, that the people actually sitting by the bar were completely ignored for long stretches of time. The room and the location of the room are perfection. The rest of the experience left a lot to be desired. There seemed to be a sense of annoyance with all of the staff towards guests . It seemed like whoever we spoke to…they were put out by our questions. There is a room service menu with her URL scan. When you scan it, it only brings up breakfast. When you call the front desk to ask why it only brings up breakfast… they tell you to walk down to the restaurant to get the dinner menu.If I wanted to do that, I would simply have dinner in the restaurant. She then offered to have a menu brought up to me which they subsequently did but she seemed very aggravated by the entire conversation. ( I do have to say the person who ultimately brought the menu to our room was quite kind). There is a menu you can hang on your door to order your breakfast… But no pen. It’s the simple things. When we called for the pen, they could not bring us one so we’ll be going elsewhere for breakfast. We stopped in the spa to book services for the morning, and the lovely young lady behind the desk seemed extremely bothered-she looked quite annoyed, no smile, no engagement whatsoever - it quite simply felt like everywhere we went, were in the way and unwanted. The spa services will be canceled by this evening - we are both eager to get home after this unfortunate experience. I worked at this hotel in conference services about 17 years ago when it was privately owned , and I was so excited for my husband to experience it… Extremely disappointed. We travel extensively, the culture here needs severe overhaul. Do better.

Let me first start by saying we live close to this resort and can’t believe how poorly put together the brunch buffet was I had much better hope. It was disappointing at best and cost was outlandish for the quality of food delivered. The setup was done in ten minutes and extremely unprofessional considering what they are trying to convey to their guests. The food was mediocre and almost all options where what looked like left over items from the previous nights dinner buffet just reheated. Such as the salad selections oysters where beat up and not properly kept fresh, the prime rib had no seasoning and was undercooked. The bread pudding tasted like it sat in the batter too long so the yeast turned the bread pudding into a different flavor, the biscuits for the biscuits and gravy where hard little hockey pucks and only part of the inside was edible, and some of the food options where strange “combos” with names that didn’t make sense. None of the foods where kept at the proper temperatures so they all had films and it seems like after being open so long this resort forgot about the number one component to a good resort and that’s quality food! The coffee machine severely needs a cleaning. Next, when I paid at check in, they told me gratuity was included yet our server specifically asked if we had paid a tip already and to leave one for everyone else.. we where shocked… so the resort under pays it’s staff as well which explains the lack of attention all of the servers paid to the tables. We know management is not doing there part and it’s reflected in the workers.I truly hope you take this review seriously to create a positive change in your resort. We are routing for you to make a great comeback so don’t disappoint!

She is an old girl but still just as grand. This place is a hidden gem that had its days in the roaring 30s. The architecture is amazing and the people are friendly. The rooms are outdated and do not have a microwave. They are still clean and usable. The spa and its amenities are top notch. Definitely use them. Great for families and old folks like me. lol.

Although didn't stay for the rooms, I am rating the spa area and the cleanliness of the resort area. The location is great for walking or driving to some great shops and restaurants. All of the main areas like the shops, check-in and larger conference/ballrooms are in great order and very clean. The behind the scenes spa area although clean, lacks the new polish and could be renovated to bring in a modern feel or new feel. It currently has that older club smell and feel which isn't bad, but also isn't good. I will say the massage service (ask for Olga) was amazing. Which is why I rated the service a 5 out of 5. Pools were well kept and at a good temperature. Good amenities such as steam room, sauna, showers.

What a special place! We went for a respite, and we were totally recharged after our restful stay. ALL of our needs were provided! We signed up for the mini retreat. Excellent experience! Rooms were wonderful. We really enjoyed the balconies. Food was great. We had all of our meals at the Fountain Grille. Food and service were fantastic. Favorites dinner item was the Vegtable Stir Fry. Our favorite part was the spa! The amenities and therapist were exceptional! Take advantage of the beautiful atrium. We can't mention each therapist by name, but we have to shout out Mary for scheduling and planning our retreat and informative nutrition class, Shannon for the best stretch experience we have had in years, Nadra for being so kind and helpful, Denny for a fantaboulous massage and Ire for an amazing facial! We can't wait to schedule another visit! Highly recommend!

Wonderful day spa with very professional services. Some areas were a little outdated, but in an elegant way. But what a wonderful place to lounge around all day in your robe, have services, eat lunch (yes while in your robe), and enjoy more services. Downtown Safety Harbor is in walking distance and has many wonderful restaurants with fabulous seafood, but bring your wallet $$$.

Went for spring break with my son to catch Yankee spring training. A relative set us up with a 2 night stay. From check in to check out was nice place. Could use better water pressure and room updates. But beds were comfortable. Food at hotel was solid. And the surrounding areas have places to eat. Was a too short trip. He will return with friends next year.

I frequently stay here for work, and I absolutely love it. The staff is always so incredible, it's in a great location, and it has a special charm. Yes, it's a little dated in ways, but I personally think it only adds to the charm and experience. The fitness center is massive, and the spa has so many options. It feels like a well loved place, staffed with the kindest people.
Katelyn Rederstorf — Google review
Everything was fabulous. The most beautiful area. Great food and service. The only thing that could have been better was the massage. New person and didn't know too much about sore muscles. It was too light and not what I was use to getting. His hands were rough too. Not like someone who is using oils.

The food at the restaurant was terrific. The servers were attentive, friendly and very professional. I enjoyed the Cobb Salad. We had a large party and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals.

Never again! This place is in need of serious upgrades and better cleaning services. The hair on my clean towels, unflushed toilets, and the roach in the locker are just a few reasons why I will never go back there again! Renvi, the manager of the spa, was on an unwell deserved lunch break when I requested her assistance. I had to clear my things out of the locker, praying that I don’t have roaches inside of my things! Even the new locker had left over trash in it (paper receipts). That’s when I called it quits! What a waste of time and money. I had high hopes for this establishment. Even the lunch/food was devoid of flavor! Never again! My 3 bright spots were: Felicia (spa check-in was great) Heather (nice/friendly masseuse with amazing hands) Jarvis (excellent server in the restaurant) Those 3 people were a blessing. I wish they’d open up their own spot together, so that I can see them again.

My sister and i had a great “Fun Day at the Spa”. The package allows access to spa facilities from 8:00AM til 7:00PM. It includes 1 hr Swedish massage, lunch, and champagne. We used the Fitness equipment, thoroughly enjoyed the Women’s Sauna. Steam Room and plunge pool. plus enjoyed the large indoor wading/relaxing pool, hot tubs and outdoor lap pool. Due to rain we didn’t get to use the outdoor pool. Lunch of Garden Salad and Salmon Entree were excellent. We enjoyed our champagne in the bar. Enjoyed roaming the spa and hotel in our robes. celebrated my sister’s birthday. Looks like this will be a new tradition.

Went to the spa for services as a guest with a very good friend of mine. Location is gorgeous! The rooms really needed updating especially where the herbal wraps were done. It seemed like a maintenance room. It was not relaxing at all. It was never explained to us what to expect, what to bring, what not to do ...etc. Once we arrived, again, there was no explanation of what we were going to be doing. There seem to be a lot of confusion. The lunch was fantastic and we had a wonderful time!

A romantic old fashioned spa and hotel getaway destination. Not your typical cookie cutter resort. The rooms overlook Safety Harbor and plenty of staff to assure your stay and needs are addressed. This Greek themed spa has plenty of attractions to appease the adventurer and baby the spa bound guest. The pool area is abundant with chairs, umbrellas, tables and towels. The Parthenon bar serves those guests looking to have cocktails and brews. A beautiful setting ...not your typical bland hotel. A bit of history still exits here...simple and accomodating...perfect!

My husband and I went here for the Christmas Brunch. It was okay but definitely not worth the money, we requested a table away from the music, well they seated us in the same room as the music there were plenty of 2 person tables in other dining rooms that they could have sat us at. The food was pretty good. They had a lot of selections, I know it's Christmas day, but I had to ask for our drinks, I had to ask for our plates to be cleared, the waitress said something about we weren't in her section and she was bouncing around to help. Again, I understand it was Christmas, I paid a lot of money for the brunch, and we should have been greeted and explained how things work and who our waitress was. Checking into the brunch, there was a bit of confusion at the second podium, and I feel as though they sat me wherever they wanted. I will not be going back and spending that kind of money again it definitely wasn't worth it.

Went to Sunday brunch looking forward to good food and good experience. The service was terrible from the poor greeting of the manager at the beginning to the having to get someone so we could pay our bill. The waitress did not check on us the entire time we had to go refill our own drinks and the food was mediocre. Very poor experience. I can’t believe they charge you 20% for their service that was so poor. Will never go again, nor recommend anyone to spend this kind of money for such mediocre brunch

I gave a Sunday Funday package as a birthday gift. Facials were the best I ever ever had such details! Pool was nice, lunch was delicious and it came with glass of bubbly, nice touch. I added a massage for the birthday girl and she loved it.

I had a facial at this spa on Saturday. I’ve been here for a facial about 2 or 3 times previously. For some reason, I had a severe allergic reaction after my facial and my eyes and bridge of my nose swelled to the point where my eyes could barely open. I had asked the aesthetician to give me a list of the products she used before she did the facial but she talked so much, I suppose she forgot. I would have really appreciated if she had because I could understand what I should stay away from, as I normally never have any allergies and I’ve had numerous facials and regularly use the Eminence products the spa uses. I called the spa 2 days ago and left a message with all these details and they still have yet to return my call. I have been unable to get anyone to answer the phone and I find this pretty unacceptable, as I wanted to try to pinpoint what could have potentially triggered this incredibly uncomfortable reaction. If you’re looking for a spa that actually follows up and provides a real service for the high price you pay, I recommend looking elsewhere. I will not be returning after this experience. Very disappointing. Also, their facilities always seem to be in disrepair and unavailable, as the steam room was broken a few months ago and this visit it was broken as well. There were other things not functioning like vending machines, etc; they clearly need more staff for the facility.

Every one of the personnel I interacted with was helpful and friendly, no matter how dumb my question was =) World famous spa services lived up to their rep. Food was great; they knocked my steak frites out of the park. I was afraid the rooms would be a little dated, but they were fine for a weekend stay - roomy, great view, plenty of amenities... and at this Spa how much time was i going to be in my room anyway?!

The service, food and rooms are nice and it's a great location. But the decor (especially the lobby and the front face) are a bit gaudy. Like, I kept expecting to see a gold painted statue of Zeus somewhere. The White Lotus hotels are demure by comparison.

This is a unique preserve in Safety Harbor. It has a variety of activities including a community garden , playground, butterfly garden, butterfly labyrinth, a huge Gnome, walking trail, picnic areas and more. Fun just to explore each area in this unique park. There is even a wind phone and many small fairy gardens a gnome areas. Plus as nature preserve there are plenty of areas to learn about butterflies and plants of Florida. A park to enjoy at your leisure.

Enjoyed seeing the public gardens especially since my sister explained all the things growing there since she is an avid gardener from Colorado. She guessed correctly on a plant that none of us knew and we learned later from someone gardening there she was correct.

If you’re looking for a quiet place to take in some local butterfly gardens or Florida plant species… this is the place! I was able to walk my dogs here as long as they’re leashed and they really enjoyed the shaded walk. There was so much to see! We went right after their Fairy Village day so there were gnomes and fairies all over the park. I’d love to see them there as a permanent part of the park. I chatted with several friendly volunteers. It’s very evident that this is a community loved place.

A very charming community garden and native plant / butterfly garden! This time of year (Mid June) most veggie gardens are about ka-pudt and these were no exception however it was an enjoyable visit to see this place right in my own backyard. The few gardeners we saw tending to their spaces were friendly and kind as are most plant lovers. Lots of native plants blooming and doing well in the butterfly gardens. The peace and quiet was a nice bonus. Far enough away from the main highway that you could forget how close it really is. We plan to visit again in the fall and spring months when there will most probably be more gardeners and peak plants to view and enjoy.

This is by far one of the cutest butterfly gardens I've ever been to. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the place is very well maintained and even has restroom facilities (with a changing station for littles). I also made note that they had a water fountain with a water container refill station. There was so much to see here. Several different paths to venture down and a short trail leading you around the property. There was even a community garden, Pavillion, and playground. 10/10 would recommend, especially for family's. If you're curious about the garden, it's beautiful, and there were tons of butterflies. Trail is not the most stroller friendly. However, my off road jeep stroller handled fine with a little effort at times.

Whimzeyland is a quirky outdoor art installation created by Todd Ramquist and Kiaralinda, who transformed their ordinary house into a colorful wonderland. The property features small performances and events in the gazebo, and visitors can also schedule a 90-minute tour of Whimzeyland and other nearby attractions. Located in a small neighborhood, this artistic gem offers free entry with no fees.
This place is a gem. Free. No entrance fee. Only donations. The artist here is so creative. Might be able to get some ideas to decorate your own yard😉. The outer house is all decorated too. You can also check out the neighborhood. There's other house also decorated.

Such a fun and beautiful experience! Great for anyone of any age to explore. It’s wonderful that is this open for anyone to see and explore. Definitely, a place I will be bring people in the future. It doesn’t take long to walk through, but if you’re looking for a cool spot to take some photos this place is a photographers dream.

If you are into whimsical art then spend 15 to 30 minutes just looking at this crazy fairyland. The home is a private residence and some of the work is quite old but take a moment and see how found 'junk' was turned to cute icons.

Such a nice art garden and whimsical indeed. Only a few parking spots are on site, but it is a calming and pretty stopover in a walkable, pretty neighborhood. Explore the gardens, smile, and enjoy the inventive upcycled items in a wide array of colors.

Beautiful landscape across multiple houses! Artwork is stunning and colorful! Definitely a place to stop if you are in the area. Parked on the street and walked by multiple houses decorated in whimsical designs. Totally eclectic and one of a kind!

Finally made it here! Wanted to see for years. Might be a bit beyond its prime, but still a fun little free outing to see some really creative, colorful, upcycled and funky art. Definitely worth a see! Also 3 or 4 other houses immediately adjacent get in on the fun, so it’s not just one. Visited December 2022.

The creativity in this beautiful home is spectacular. I loved all the works of art. So much imagination and craft was put in. It was like going into this magical garden. It was completely gorgeous and creative. Thank you!

Cool little place to check out if you're in the area. Plenty of whimsey to look at. A neat little free side trip. I would so live here.

This is a tiny little spot, a regular house in a small neighborhood but it has been transformed by the artist who live here into a little spot of wonder. You park on the street and just walk right in. No fees, etc. There are small gazebos and walking paths. Everything is decorated, painted, covered in beads or tiles. I will say it borders on the edge of a hoarder's property and if that is a turn off, this might not be for you. If you like to be overwhelmed by colors and sparkling things in the midst of tropical foliage, you can overlook the cramped conditions and the unavoidable hint of mold here in there that we have in Florida outdoors. A very fun spot for anyone who likes to take photos. I think kids would love the stimulating atmosphere. I saw no bathrooms or such, not really a spot to picnic. Just somewhere for maybe a 15-to-20-minute walk around to be amazed by the unique mixing of materials, some very common some not, that create this little fantasy land. There is also a VW by the street with old computer parts attached to it. Certainly, an off the beaten path sort of place.

Great place to enjoy all kinds of art!! Walk thru areas filled with art. This is a "must" if visiting Safety Harbor!! From first made art pieces to remaking objects like bowling balls, bottles into statues, lined yards of art; it's a spectacular display of imagination.

Our visit to Whimzeyland was awesome! 😄 We loved seeing all of the mosaics, sculptures, bowling ball pathway, and lots of other fun things! We didn’t sign up for the tour but they have tours available. We would highly recommend checking out this colorful, charming, creative gem🎨 #WhimzeylandMagic 🪄🧚🏼

My all time favorite place to go with my dogs! They have very nice spacious outdoor area that my dogs love. There are live music going on weekends and I have seen many private party happened(my friend also had her baby shower here!) Very dog friendly place! There are always 2 kitty cats named Vader, Leia around so if your dog is not cat friendly, hold your leash tight😁 All the staffs are very friendly and amazing! I love coming here with my dogs anytime I need to chill and relax. Great atmosphere with great beer! I highly recommend ☺️
Raehyeon Jeong (Rae) — Google review
The beer is great. The atmosphere is fantastic…along with the music. The worst experience here is getting a drink. The staff seem very particular about who and how they serve - only regular crowd I suppose. I approached the bar with no one in front of me. I stood there for 3 songs….about 15 minutes while they served their friends. People who entered the building 10 minutes after I stood at the bar were getting served. So then I ask myself….why am I here? I’m sure if you are a regular, the experience is better. As you can see from the photo, not busy. 15 minutes for a beer.

Cool place to hang out. We came here specifically for trivia, but would come back for the good brews. Several craft beers and lagers on tap, and everything I tried was very good. Prices were average. I didn't see any specials but I'd be surprised if they didn't offer some or at least a happy hour. No in house food offerings, but they do have food trucks here often I'm told. Tonight they had a pizza truck, which I did not try but looked good. Parking can be a challenge, I had to park around the corner at the community center.

Enjoyed the Frosty Nibs Ale at Whole Foods for $5 a pint and decided to make the trip to the brewery to purchase a few cans of it. I was shocked to find them charging $7.50 for the same amount in the brewery. When I arrived at 9PM (an hour before closing) to purchase two 4 packs for $16 each I greeted the bartender (hipster white male in his 30’s) and was disrespected and treated as if I was a nuisance I immediately felt disrespected and disgusted when he looked at me like I was insane for trying to purchase some ale. I am absolutely appalled by the horrid customer service I received in the short time I spent in the building. I picked out two 4 packs of the cans I liked and decided to walk up to the bartender to check out. You missed out on a $32 sale or possibly more. I waited about 5 minutes with the cans on the bar just to be completely ignored by the bartender having a conversation about himself to someone who was not spending a dime, just wasting time. He looked at me several times like I was crazy for wanting to make a purchase. You can absolutely ruin a brand by making the customer feel this way and I will happily spend my money elsewhere. After this experience I drove to total wine to purchase Yamazaki suntory whiskey and others and was treated with the respect a customer spending money deserves. After waiting 5 minutes I walked off and left the beers on the counter, if you’re going to ignore me as if I’m not there you can put them back on the shelf yourself. I will NEVER return and if anyone asks I will tell them to save their time and spend their money at another brewery or try some of the local restaurants in the area such as the French restaurant nearby.

Very cool little place with total outdoor and garage space! What was some friends and Uncle John's Band was playing very good had fun. They could use some fans outside and carry a few more seltzers, I don't drink beer or wine. Very cool atmosphere chill vibe, perfect for deadheads! Had a good time they could use a big fan outside to move the air because they have a fenced-in yard and a stage in the back which got warm on a beautiful night. Overall I give this place four stars and highly recommend for a meet and greet for beer drinkers and wine drinkers
Jennifer Gutman Bertisch — Google review
This is one of my favourite breweries! It has great beer. The outside biergarten is very nice, weather permitting. Unfortunately, as someone allergic to cats I’m not able to go inside as there are like one to three cats that roam around the bar. If you’re not allergic to animals, I recommend this brewery.

I'm surprised to find a local brewery with such tasty variety of IPA beers. Their has beer was such a delight. For the first time ever, my wife liked a beer, the sour Cherry'O beer. It takes a lot to impress her with any beer, I honestly can say, I liked it too. A must stop and try local brewery if ever in the area.
Stephen Joseph — Google review
Friend wanted to go here for her birthday. I had never been before. Love the atmosphere! And unlike many breweries there are many options that aren’t ipa. Between our group we probably tried every beer they had and no one had saying bad to say. Will definitely by visiting again. Oh, and there’s a cat. The cat is worth the visit.

We came here for the first time after hearing about their Ocktoberfest. The brewery is a fairly large open space with ample seating inside (mostly tables and a high top counter) and a larger outdoor space with a bunch of tables. They also have a small stage outside for live music. They were very busy for Ocktoberfest but the bartenders were quick and at the busiest, I didn’t have to wait longer than 5 minutes for a beer. We stuck to drinking the HarborFest which I really recommend, but I’d like to go back and do a flight or two to try their other brews.

1. Brewery cats! 2. One of the best beers I've ever had.. Frosty Nibs. 3. Amazing outdoor space. 4. Great selection of styles and recipes. I was a big fan.. A couple of the IPAs and Stouts I had were top notch. I'll visit again when I'm back in the area. Highly recommended for all.
Justin Newell — Google review
Great to visit a local brewery & have the bartender tell you he has no idea what hops they use & basically to leave him alone with you questions about their beer. Great spokesman for Bud Lite. Too many good breweries struggling for this place to skate with poor service

2nd visit and this one worthy! Great never and really comfortable this visit and just a great venue, I had a Fuzzy Candy IPA at 10% served by a nice bartender and expedient versus our first ever visit in which not only did we not get a beer but couldn't even get a Sample from the rude bartender .and so we left at that point January of 2020 before the PLanDemic kicked in

On a Sunday afternoon, we decided to visit The NONA Slice House as we had been unable to secure dinner reservations due to its popularity. We both opted for Detroit style square pizzas - my husband chose one topped with sausage, mushroom, and black olive while I went for the gluten-free option with vegan cheese and spinach. The pizzas were absolutely delicious and definitely worth the wait.
So delicious. 3 gluten free and regular crust options. Lots of creative combinations. A good variety of toppings for build your own pizzas. When we went there was live music, half priced wine, and desserts. Staff was friendly, and service was quick. Only outdoor seating as far as I could see.

Great aesthetic to this place with an awesome outdoor seating area! I liked the Detroit style pizza the best! If you’ve never had it before, it’s worth a try. The cheese baked crust was awesome! I wasn’t crazy about the New York style pizza since it was partially burned on the bottom. The garlic knots were average, but the waitress was friendly! Great location with pretty good parking around too!

Phenomenal Pizza. Drastically better than anything else I've had in Florida. Finally, a place I don't have to order "well-done" to get a properly cooked pizza. I love the daily pizza specials and that they have catered to both vegetarians and meat eaters. Even if you don't typically go for a veggie pizza, check out their daily slices. They have some amazing combinations I'd never have ordered otherwise. The only complaint I have is the lack of an actual draft list to look at and that they don't have any ciders or sours on draft. I'm not usually a fan of beer and don't have a clue what they are from just looking at taps or having a list rambled at me. I'll take that cider on draft over the list though. Or even just some more options besides just bottled angry orchard. We've got 2 local cider makers. Maybe a 3 daughters cider next time you get their beer delivered? 🙏🙏 They also have a large outdoor seating area, live music at least a few days a week, homemade cheesecake, wine specials, mojitos, and I'm sure more goodies that I haven't discovered yet. Definitely worth adding to your list and making a trip.

What a great place. Pizza was excellent! I’ve never seen deep dish the way their “Detroit style” comes out. And it’s a lot of food. We sat out on the patio and it was a beautiful night. The place was very busy (a Friday night you have to expect it) and it took awhile to get our food but I completely understand the delay. The prices are very reasonable and if you order before 7:00 they have some great pizza/drink specials. A fun place to eat on a Friday night.

We went on a Sunday afternoon because we haven't been able to get in for dinner since it's always so busy. We both got Detroit style square pizzas. My husband had sausage, mushroom, and black olive. I had gluten-free with vegan cheese and spinach. Both were delicious, and well worth the wait. There are only a couple of pizza places in the area with good gluten-free free, but this is the first I have found with vegan cheese also. The crust was thick, airy and full of flavor, all ingredients were fresh especially the tomato sauce. Please keep this on your menu, we will definitely be back!

This is the best pizza I have had in Florida and really competes with the best places I’ve had in NYC, Philadelphia, Italy, and New Haven Connecticut. I will be back to try the Detroit style very soon. Only complaint I have is the Sangria had very little alcohol and not much flavor. Would love to see a new recipe for it both red and white. The pizza though is worth at least an hour drive it’s phenomenal.

Nona's is a great place to stop by with your human or pet which scores high in my heart! The food, drinks and service was oustanding. The locals were great to talk to as well.. Prices were reasonable and won't break the bank..note, the place was packed. The Brooklyn pizza was our choice and buffalo wings. Very tasty.

Relaxed comfortable open air dining. As good of pizza anywhere in Tampa/St Pete. - including all 3 styles of pizza The BEST garlic knots we have had. Good prices. Great drink options. Excellent slice & drink combos for a quick stop, or dining in. Friendly staff with great service! Highly recommended.

I was in town visiting Tampa and searched up "Pizza" only to stumble upon this gem. The Nona Slice House is a pizzeria in Safety Harbor serving the most delicious and unique Italian dishes. They serve different pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and desserts. My party ordered the Garlic knots, Rocket Man salad, Garden Pesto Pizza, and Hot Honey Melt. Every single menu item was amazing. The pizza was thin and crispy topped with fresh pesto and veggies. Garlic knots were smothered with butter and garlic. Salad had the perfect mix of salty and sweet from the cheese and strawberries. The star of the show had to be the Hot Honey Melt. The sandwich came is 4 huge slices filled with 4 different cheeses and a hint of honey which made each bite taste even better. It also came with a creamy tomato soup on the side so you can dip and eat at the same time. I would come back just for the melt. The staff was very friendly and attentive. They were able to give great recommendations and were pretty efficient in placing and serving our order. There is limited parking in a lot next to the restaurant, otherwise you have to find parking on your own. The only downside is that there is no indoor seating so you have to bear with the heat and occasional bug that swarms around the table. They do have fans that are plugged in outside though. Overall, this was a great spot that I will definitely visit again!

This was our first time, but our friends (who we met here) have been here many times and love the food, as well as the atmosphere and staff. We agreed with them about the atmosphere and staff. We were split 50-50 on the pizza. Husband ordered the Detroit style pizza with sausage. He did not care for it, and only ate half. Too much crust and too little sausage. I ordered the white pizza, NY Style, which was excellent. I ate half, and brought half home to enjoy later. He liked the ice tea, and I fell in love with the Sangria. About 30 minutes before we left, a musician performed for patrons. Unfortunately he was too loud. We had to shout to hear each other and we were on the other side of the outside section of the restaurant. So we paid our bill & left. We will return. Husband wants to try the thin crust sausage pizza. We both think that he’ll like it!

I was a little hesitant when my buddy was raving about how good this pizza was. What does he know? I've had pizza in NYC, Boston, Providence, and Chicago. There's no way this place could compete... boy, was I wrong. The pizza was great as was the entire venue. Not sure when I'll be back in the area, but when I am, this will definitely be a stop!

We went to Nona Slice House today based on a great recommendation from certifiedmjradio. (MJ from the MJ morning show on Q105, 104.7) It was awesome!! And better yet we found THE BEST GLUTEN FREE PIZZA EVER!!! My wife has Celiac and is an Italian New Yorker and she always gets the short end of the stick when it comes to food. Usually GF crust is premade, dense, thin cardboard. This is homemade, airy and light, Detroit style thick crust. So good!!!! We’ve had some good gluten-free pizza before but this is way out of the park. Kudos to the staff for finding a way to make GF this good. I had the Dr. Jon New York style pizza without onions. It was also very very good. I absolutely love the garlic knots, and my wife was super impressed by the grilled Caprese salad. The grill was a great twist to the classic taste. All in all it was a great night. Our server Charlie was phenomenal!!! Matt Mayfield was the live entertainment and he was awesome as well. We will definitely be back and I’m sure my wife will have many takeout pizzas in the future.

Some of the best tasting and unique pizza around! It's definitely our favorite in the entire Tampa Bay area. The Service was spectacular, the drinks were refreshing and the overall food was just great!

We've been working our way through the menu here - which is no easy feat because they are always trying something new. The food, the bar and service are all fantastic! My fav pies are Porky's Revenge and the Clam pizza. My current fav bar drink is the Sweet Potato Glasserole - it is perfect. I also love that they have music nightly.

This place really is just perfect. The food, the vibes, everything. I usually get the Detroit style pizza, and it is so good. That browned cheese on the crust is just *chef's kiss*.

We found out about this place because a family member saw it on One bite pizza review. We were not disappointed. The pizzas were delicious. In particular, the Detroit style was so good. This place was extremely busy. There was no seating. But we ordered a few pizzas and ate them out on the street. Parking is extremely limited.

Yes. 100%. Fantastic pizza 🍕. Great on classic cheese pizza, Detroit style deep dish as well as innovative combinations like pepperoni with hot honey (spicy). Even the garlic knots were out of this world delicious. Yes they are often packed but service was fast and they have great local beers on tap while you wait (Marker 48 Hazy River ipa and Dunedin Apricot Ale )🍺 😋

We stumbled upon this place while on our way to another restaurant. The smell of the pizza and the atmosphere made us turn around and check this place out. The pizza and appetizers were delicious. There was a 15-minute wait for our table, but it was worth it. I would definitely go back and would highly recommend it if you are in the mood for pizza.

Delicious food! Wonderful drinks! Cute place, indoor dining and outdoor dining. Not fancy so come as you are. They have great appetizers, different from the norm. But the pizza is fire!!!! The prices are just right for what you get. AND the pizza is just as delicious the next day!

Love the nondairy cheese option! Their crust is also vegan and garlic knots can be made vegan. Lovely service and atmosphere. First time having Detroit style pizza and it’s probably my new favorite. Just wish they didn’t charge so much more for the nondairy cheese.

An amazing pizzeria with the perfect laid back Florida beach vibe. Offering NY style and Detroit style pizzas, along with other food options, you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. But by far...Nona's has the best Detroit style pizza we've ever had. AND you can't visit Nona's without trying their garlic knots; golden brown and covered in olive oil, garlic, and fresh basil. It's worth a visit if all you get are the garlic knots. They also have a great selection of drinks and beers on tap. You'll even find desserts at Nona's, like carmel and candied pecan cheesecake. Bottom line? Visit Nona's as soon as possible.

Found this hidden gem thanks to Dave’s One Bite review. I didn’t even know the safety harbor restaurants went that far down Main st. The wait was long, but understandably so due to them being recently reviewed. The pizza was definitely worth the wait. We got a large margherita and even though the kitchen was slammed it was still cooked to perfection. Crispy crust end to end, fresh sauce, perfect amount of fresh mozzarella, sprinkled with some fresh ribbons of basil. Shout out to the kitchen staff, as they were working like a well oiled machine. We will be back to try the Detroit style. Update: went back the next weekend to get the Detroit style and some garlic knots. The Detroit style is somehow better than the margherita pizza and the garlic knots were the best I’ve ever had.

Had dinner with friends at this cute, trendy pizza joint in Safety Harbor- loved it. We have never seen a pizza place that serves both NY & Detroit Style. That is unique so we tried both types! It was all good, including the wings and stuffed peppers. The four of us had a great meal and we would definitely return!

Title: Exquisite Detroit Style Pizza Delight at The Nona Slice House. The Nona Slice House in Safety Harbor has truly mastered the art of crafting delectable pizzas, and their Detroit style with pistachio and arugula is an absolute game-changer. From the moment I took my first bite, I was transported to a realm of culinary bliss. The pizza boasts a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Despite its thickness, it manages to maintain a light and airy quality that pleasantly surprises the palate. The crispy edges, adorned with generous amounts of cheese, add a delightful crunch to each bite. The combination of pistachio and arugula elevates the pizza to new heights, offering a unique and unforgettable flavor profile. The pistachios add a subtle nuttiness, while the arugula provides a refreshing contrast, making every mouthful a symphony of tastes. Without a doubt, this slice of pizza has earned the title of the best I've ever had. The Nona Slice House has set a new standard for pizza perfection, and I cannot wait to return for another slice (or two). If you find yourself in Safety Harbor, do yourself a favor and indulge in this culinary masterpiece—you won't regret it.

Gigglewaters Social Club and Screening Room is a recently opened speakeasy in Safety Harbor. This attractive establishment, reminiscent of the Prohibition era, features an L-shaped bar from the 19th century, pressed-tin ceilings, and a private movie screening area. It offers both classic cocktails and modern concoctions on its extensive drink menu. Located in the Safety Harbor neighborhood, Gigglewaters is not just a restaurant but also a hidden gem with a prohibition-themed ambiance.
VERY GOOD FOOD! I have been wanting to try this place for so long. I finally made it and it did not disappoint. It is located in the heart of downtown Safety Harbor, they do have a parking lot. The ambiance is very speakeasy. The food was FANTASTIC, the drinks are a little pricey but taste good. I had the salted caramel martini and The Commissioner, which is a giant hamburger that has bacon 2 ways and a waffle on it!! They also have a small screening room that shows movies, mostly old ones but some new ones too. We did not see a movie that night but we will be back to see. I took a picture of the movies they played there in March 2022. We WILL be back!!

The portions were big! Even the kids meals. Food quality was great and the flavor profiles made it hard to decide what sandwich to get. I got the Bleeker and it is filling. Got a little knocked on rating as the service was a bit slow and took the order wrong but things happen and I understand that. Gonna give it another try one of the next trips to Safety Harbor. Food is worth it.

Well I went in out of curiosity because I've heard that it's haunted and even though many people have told me to go in, the restaurant has not been particularly receptive to me or my team. I ordered the peanut butter and cheddar burger with bacon and a box on the side. It cost $24 (18 on menu, plus tax and tip). See photo below of the take-home box with the food in it. Staff was polite but did not engage me. Asked questions about renting out their theater. No one answered the questions and just told me to email events as a dependent on the size time and several other factors. Definitely felt a bit out of place. I thought it was a franchise but it turns out they want to franchise. They did tell me they have a booth at Ruth Eckerd Hall and a food truck now.

I loved the ambiance of the place, but our server was ridiculously slow. A table of 6 that came well after us was almost finished with their meal by the time we were server and we all got burgers. The drinks were absolutely wonderful, but not enough to offset the disappointing and flavorless French fries and the soggy and underwhelming truffle popcorn. The commissioner burger was very good and loved the dog-friendly patio seating. I would go back for the OJ and waffles and hibiscus hooch

My wife and decided to eat here today. Menu has a nice selection of foods and the bar is very well stocked. Service was great and the food and drinks were delicious. Little bit pricey for some of the nicer "upgrades" to the drinks. Overall we loved it and will be back again hungry and thirsty and maybe watch a movie or go for brunch!!

My new favorite place! I was looking for something to do during the day and saw that True Romance was playing. So, we decided to visit Gigglewaters for the first time We were so impressed and happy with our visit. The screening room is a cozy back room of the restaurant with small tables for food and drinks. The service was impeccable and so quick even with the movie playing. Kimberly C was so friendly and attentive! We ordered the pretzel dippers with beer cheese and the 1919 Burger. Both were delicious and came quick to our table! I would recommend both I could see it getting a little busy on a weekend night, but we went early on a Friday. It was perfect for us! We were able to enjoy the experience with lots of space. This is going to be our new place when we want something wallet friendly and close to home! I’m going to recommend to all my friends and family

The place is very nice, good atmosphere, contemporary, the girl who served us is Latina and was very cordial and friendly... What we didn't like, they should look for a place to park nearby, the terrace area to sit is not very spacious , it is uncomfortable to walk between tables and more so having family members with limitations..., it started to rain and the tables did not have awnings, so we had to get up with our food and drinks to avoid getting wet, the wait is very long. As for the food, the meat of the hamburgers was plain, they had no flavor, what helped was the seasoning they come with, the bread was delicious. There were good but not excellent dishes, others if they lacked flavor.

Food was just ok. I got the sonny Corleone (Swiss/mushrooms/onion) burger was a little on the bland side. Fries were delicious perfectly seasoned and hot & crispy on the inside and soft on the inside. My friend got the commissioner which reminded me of an elevated donut burger (I had a bite) but way too much to eat in one sitting but delicious.

I was way under impressed with the Truffle burger and truffle fries. The meat was pretty good but it was overwhelmed by the cheese and large bun. Most bites I felt like I was eating a cheese sandwich. And this is for a $19.00 burger. Disappointing at best. Nothing impressive about the $8 truffle fries. They were dry. Tasted like ho-hum frozen fries. Tea tasted fresh. Overall it was definitely not the quality I expected. Server, Maria, was attentive, upbeat and friendly. I sat outside which was nice. Table was clean and silverware was clean also.

I visited this cool and quirky place with 4 friends. I got there first and ordered an IPA from Cory the bartender. He was very cool and let me try it before ordering. Super friendly bartender and he gets an A+. When my friends arrived we moved to a table and our server was Savanah. She was also top notch. I ordered the Sonny Corleone Burger, and two other friends got the 1919 burger and the Plain Jane. All burgers were good, but I felt the fries could have been better. Another female friend ordered one of the chicken sandwiches, which was ENORMOUS. Too big for my petite friend but her boyfriend finished it for her, so no problem. The other dish ordered was the chicken and waffles and he loved it. Aside from beers, one friend ordered an old fashioned, the other a margarita. Both were good. I would recommend the staff warn people ordering the chicken sandwich that it's like eating half a chicken. The place was great otherwise, and they have a small movie theater where you can eat, drink and watch a movie! I'll try that next time. If you ever visit this sleepy town in the Tampa area, definitely drop in here.

I really wanted to give this unique establishment a 5, but just too many little things that brought it down. First, the drinks are great, and the menu can be great- it just wasn’t prepared right. The cáprese salad was good, served on a huge Mayer of greens, but then no dressing. We asked for additional dressing, and received a small cup of oil, but no balsamic. The burgers looked fantastic until I bit into it. Their menu says in big bold letters that all burgers are cooked medium. Unfortunately. It was cooked well done. Not even medium well- literally overcooked. Service was slow, but super friendly. I believe they were understaffed, so cannot blame that on the staff and it didn’t impact my score. The score is a 4, but could be a five if they execute the menu as it was intended.

The chicken burger was delicious, and the outdoor area was pleasant. The cocktails were a highlight. We had to go ask for cutlery and napkins because when our food was brought out and we were asked if we needed anything else, we didn't realise right away that we didn't have any. They couldn't tell us the ingredients of the actual & cheese, as they had thrown the box away, so we had a garden salad.

FANTASTIC!! The sweet and salty popcorn (small) 10/10!!! The sandwiches were both so so good! Our waitress, Kimberly, was so sweet, warm, and impeccable service! Can’t wait to go back! 🥰🥰🥰

Everything was fabulous. The most beautiful area. Great food and service. The only thing that could have been better was the massage. New person and didn't know too much about sore muscles. It was too light and not what I was use to getting. His hands were rough too. Not like someone who is using oils.

Modern French restaurant
If you're looking for a French restaurant that will transport you back to Paris, look no further than Parts of Paris Bistro & Bar. They offer a unique dining experience inside a 1936 Florida bungalow, complete with white tablecloths and an impressive cocktail bar. While their menu may seem daunting at first, most of their dishes are prepared on-site which makes it easy to enjoy a delicious meal.
Parts of Paris was an absolute treat for my friends and I tonight. Our dinner was awesome and server/bartender Taylor was perfect with the help of the rest of the staff. The food runners were polite with the high volume and tight corners during the rush and the kitchen made great food and after a fine dining dinner my group was able to transfer to the bar for relaxing night cap of drinks being served by Taylor, Sean, Mears, and the rest of the staff. The owner and his wife thanked us for our business and made us feel so welcome. Such a welcoming and fun experience. Definitely will be back and make sure y’all do too’

Drinks were amazing. My husband and I ordered the French Onion soup. Unfortunately it was a bad batch, basically tasted like water with Italian seasoning in it and it was cold. The people sitting next to us had the same problem but said they have had it before and it was great. We let the waiter know, and he took it off our bill. And even gave us all complimentary champagne. We also got the cheese board which was delicious. I ordered the vegetarian entree but replaced the vegan sausage with more veggies. Very good. The service was great.

One of my favorite restaurants in the whole Tampa Bay area! Outstanding service - knowledgeable, courteous, and no rushing you out of the door. Absolutely delicious food! Among my favorites are lamb, beef fillet with peppercorn sauce, grilled octopus, crab dip, and escargot. Very reasonably priced! A bit packed/loud inside but excellent on the patio. Definitely worth the drive; can’t wait to return!

Really good place! We came to celebrate our anniversary and it turned out to be an excellent choice. The place may seem small from the outside, but once you go inside, the space is just right. The only thing to keep in mind is that pretty much anywhere you sit (except for outside) you'll be close to the bar, and at night people can get loud. The food was excellent. Even though the menu is pretty much what you would expect from French cuisine, everything is prepared A+ perfectly. The desserts are also great. My wife is a huge fan of creme brulee, and she and I agreed that this was one of the very best we've ever tried. The chocolate mousse with salted caramel was outstanding as well. The service was also very good. Our server was friendly and always willing to accomodate our requests, but without being too invasive. Wonderful experience, try it!

I used to love this place so much but our experience last night was very disappointing. We wanted it to be a great night celebrating our wedding anniversary but the whole vibe was so off. It was my husband's first time here and he surprised me with the reservations because he knew how much I liked it. Over an hour for our food, which was under cooked and cold, the server was not very attentive and seemed to lack the going above and beyond skill, and sadly, a night that was supposed to be so special, did not measure up. Respectfully, the manager tried to fix the situation by re-cooking our food which was basically too late at that point. So, now over an hour and 20 minutes for food. We appreciated the free appetizer, but getting our check, and being fully charged for everything, was kind of shocking, and never a sincere apology. We certainly did not want anything for free but it was our wedding anniversary, and the overall experience was a complete let down. I would take great service over mediocre food any day but the service lacked almost as much as the cold filet and mashed potatoes. We appreciate the manager trying, but the disappointment and the fact that our anniversary dinner was a bit ruined, will keep us away. I'm sure you have many regulars, but we will not be back.

Last night we had an amazing dinner at Parts of Paris. The ambiance was wonderful and romantic, the food and drinks were delicious and the evening was perfect. We had a lovely French couple that sat beside us who spoke French the whole evening with the waiter and made us feel like we were in Paris for dinner. They really made the evening special. I highly recommended the food and the restaurant. If you haven’t tried Parts of Paris yet, it should be on your must-visit list.

OMG this place is fabulous! I dined there this evening and I must say, the food, the service and the ambience, was off the charts! My waitress/bartender, Shannon, she's an asset to your business. I was greeted with a Hello and a big smile too! Everyone was so nice! I started off with a white sangria as my cocktail for the evening. I followed that with some escargot as an appetizer and an 8 oz filet mignon with béarnaise for my entree, which also came with mashed potatoes and green beans. Everything was outstanding! Safety Harbor is blessed to have such a fantastic French restaurant in its own backyard!

Absolutely incredible little gem hidden in Safety Harbor. There are so many wonderful small restaurants around here but this one finds a way to stand out! Parisian and French food is hard to come by in this area but Parts of Paris not only scratches this itch but does it in a exceptionally executed manner. To start the food is incredible! Like absolutely stunning! The duck confit is to die for. Perfectly seasoned and crispy and cooked to perfection every time! It’s also served with an exceptionally balanced sweet citrus sauce that pairs so well with the richness of the protein. My absolute go to dish that makes this place the only restaurant on my mind when I want good duck. Beyond that the chefs simply do not miss. Every entree I’ve tried, from the rack of lamb to the regularly rotating fish special, has been well thought out and perfectly crafted. As far an appetizers the escargot is a joy, the sauce is spot on with the richness and flavor to the point that I was inclined to scoop ever ylast drop out with the given bread crisps. And the desert, oh the desert. It’s amazing. The crème brûlée was fabulously presented, which is half the battle with a good desert. It’s flavor was just the right mix of eggy and sweet, with subtle notes of rich vanilla. The small pieces of vanilla bean hidden in the crème also indicates that it is prepared from whole beans, which is always a plus. I went here for my birthday and they also gave me a free chocolate raspberry tart that was oh so decadent and rich! Served with crème and fresh berries it was easy to craft the perfect bite but it was certainly not for the faint of heart! It’s richness could be a short coming for those who do not adore chocolate as I do! Beyond this the service and atmosphere is exceptional as well. The staff are always attentive and kind. Consistently tolerant of those who are confused and able to offer recommendations and explain menus items down to specific flavor notes. Shows that they typically really care about the food being put on the table. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting while still staying just a bit fancy. Makes you feel like you are tucked away in a small bistro in France or have been invited into someone’s home for a great meal with friends. Just one thing, be sure to dedicate time to your visit, the menu explicitly states that they make everything from scratch in what I can only assume is small kitchen. For me this is a positive as it gives you time to relax and enjoy the decor but for some this may be unexpected. In short I absolutely recommend for the food, service and atmosphere. The prices are decent, and sometimes even great, for what you get and the quality of the cooking keeps me coming back.

Our server was fantastic. Very kind and helpful. Very good food, too. This restaurant is a unique experience that I don’t think you can find anywhere else in the Tampa Bay Area.

Food is a bit pricey but very good. It seems authentic enough to where you won’t be familiar enough with much on the menu, but they do clearly label what is in each meal. This is not the place for picky eaters or ones who aren’t up for trying something new. The crème brûlée is my absolute favorite! The only downside to this place is the indoor seating. Very cramped and therefore gets super hot. It’s very European style to use every space you have in an indoor place but just not the best for a summer day.

Business must be good. Stood at the front of the business by the menu’s for 10 minutes and although we saw at least 2 people that worked there, they not so much as acknowledged us. We were invisible. We never put negative reviews out there but it was pretty pathetic that we were not even acknowledged as a potential customer. We are in our early 60’s, and were cleaned up to go out for supper. Owned our own business so we know how to treat customers.

This is the perfect spot to start and end a Safety Harbor third Friday night. The overall vibe is fancy casual. If you’re expecting things like scraping crumbs or exchanging silverware between courses, you won’t find it here. But the food is solid, you’ll step out into the middle of Main Street after dinner, and it’s the best late night bar downtown. The escargot was delicious, but don’t send away your bread service when it comes, cause the crostinis that came with it were stale. The ribs appetizer was full of flavor and fell off the bone. I’m a sucker for a duck confit with orange marmalade, so when I saw a Gran Marnier duck on the menu I HAD to try it, and it lived up to everything I was hoping it would be. The cognac gave it a sweetness upfront and warm aftertaste that warmed my soul. The salmon with cream sauce on lentils was super light before a night out, but didn’t leave me wishing I got a heavier dish for more flavor. It had an addictive quality that makes you keep coming back for bites, even if you’re stuffed. We returned after a walk down Main Street for dessert and I had one of the best crème brûlées I’ve had in a long time. The custard was SO thick and rich, complemented perfectly by their creamy espresso martini. If you’re looking for a fruity tart dessert instead, the crepe Suzette with a French 75 will cool you down on a hot summer night.

Southern Fresh is a casual and homey restaurant with pan-fried chicken as their specialty. They also serve Southern style food with a fresh spin, locally grown produce, and Southern Fresh chefs who aim to please. The restaurant is located in Safety Harbor, just across the Safety Harbor Post Office, and is well worth a visit for anyone looking for great fried chicken.
My husband and I tried that this restaurant for the very first time we had two appetizers and shrimp cocktail and southern wings. My husband stated that the shrimp was not their specialty, but their chicken wings were excellent highly recommend. The food came out in a timely manner and the waitress was very nice.

Was in town for spring training baseball and met up with some friends who live local and enjoy this place. So glad they thought to show it to us! The menu includes some really interesting things and there are daily specials. I got one of those specials which was blackened sheepshead (who knew that was a name of a fish?) along with scallops and shrimp on a bed of grits and carrots and my wife had a herb marinated broiled salmon. Both dishes were amazing and full of flavor. Definitely recommend!!

Hate to write a bad review, but after a 90 minute wait, the food was flavorless, meatloaf was tough and over cooked, and a half piece of broccoli was served with dinner. Mac n cheese was cold. Redfish super salty.

We biked to Southern Fresh and sat outside on a beautiful day! Haley, our server was so friendly. The gf ordered the catfish fried and I ordered the fried chicken breast, wing and added 2 drums. So good! 👍🏽👍🏽

So I’m asking myself, “what took me so long to go to SF?” oh my Lord…the food was scrumptious. Kudos to the chef and cooks. And not only did I have an amazing dinner but my server Kaila was super nice and personable. She recommended the special (shrimp with scallops and grits but not the usual kinda grits plus baked carrots) and thank goodness she did because I enjoyed it thoroughly along with a glass of red sangria. Shout out to Freddy!! Nice down to earth guy. Southern Fresh is a bungalow type casual eating spot in Safety Harbor with a great vibe. It was once a home. It’s now a casual restaurant yet fancy enough that I felt like I went out for a nice dinner. There’s a small bar that sits just a few folks and they even have an outdoor dining area with a fire pit. I have a few restaurants in Safety Harbor that I frequent but this is def my new spot. And I plan on going back for more. I highly recommend Southern Fresh. I think they said they’re having their annual anniversary celebration coming up soon. I’ll be there!! Thanks Kaila for the great service.

Loved this small diner with an old southern feel. My wife and I loved their fried chicken platter and got collards and bacon. I'll tell you it was de-licious. I would recommend this place very much so. If you like strawberry shortcake. 🍰 Theirs is amazing. I apologize, we forgot to take the pic before rating the first leg. 🍗 Should be 3 pieces of chicken.

The fried chicken was impeccably seasoned, boasting a crispy exterior that yielded to a juicy, tender interior. Paired with velvety, creamy mashed potatoes, each bite was a harmonious blend of textures and flavors. However, the portion size left much to be desired; receiving only one piece of chicken and a solitary side felt somewhat lacking, diminishing the overall satisfaction of the meal. Despite this drawback, the quality of the chicken and the richness of the mashed potatoes undoubtedly left a lasting impression.

we were meeting friends from out of town and decided to dine at Southern Fresh. Everything was excellent. The service was very good, the food exceptional! The chicken was cooked perfectly, the red fish was delicious and the catfish was awesome. The surprise of the night for me were the collard greens….best side dish on the menu! Stop in, it is a very cool place in Safety Harbor.

our waitress was really kind and professional. She did a great job servicing us while dining in. But the food was not up to part, most of the food that was on our plate was either lukewarm or cold. They definitely tried to fix the issue, which is great customer service. But Just make sure the food is at least hot and ready for the customer. The catfish, collard greens, and grits were pretty good after a heating session.

Glad that they are able to accept a reservation for two people. Most restaurants do not. The wait staff was amazing! The food was good. I would definitely go back there again. However what you should know is the wait staff is paid on commission so they automatically add 20% on your bill and then still leave room for asking for a tip. The only problem I had was when another party showed up and decided to strike up a conversation with the next table which proceeded in loud obnoxious cackling laughing and scream talking across the tables. This is a very very small restaurant you're talking maybe 15 tables inside. It was so loud I had to put my fingers in my ear and so did one of the waitresses. Please try and be considerate when you eat here this is not a sports bar this is not the golf club. Thank goodness the one party left after about 20 minutes of this occurring or I was about to get up and leave myself. If you want to be that loud you should probably consider a different restaurant.

Food and service were excellent. We've been to Safety Harbor many times but for whatever reason never stopped by here. Well we are very glad we did today! The salmon with salad and the fried chicken with mashed potatoes were great! I could have used a double portion of everything!

I’m still sitting here but can’t wait to share how much I love it! Fried fish, fried chicken and meatloaf were all amazing. And after I ran out of food I was finishing tartar sauce and gravy with a spoon because it was so good. Finishing off with a banana pudding - apparently it tastes like home for my southern friends. Great service too!

Absolutely loved this place. Food was amazing, service was 10/10. The wait for the food was a good bit, but it was FRESH and AMAZING. Highly recommend this local restaurant. Great cozy environment too!

Kaila was FANTASTIC! She was so kind and her timing was impeccable. Her recommendations were spot on! The food was amazing. We sat outside by the fire and had an amazing time. The collard greens were TO DIE FOR! 10/10 would recommend!

With a down home vibe the Fresh deliver on flavors and what a great way to taste real southern cooking. Just a block off main you could miss it so don’t go by. Call if your not sure. The fried chicken was juicy and tender. The fried cat fish was super tasty and delicious. The sides are excellent and what you would expect from this kind of restaurant. The banana pudding is out of this world but you better get it early cause they run out fast. The server was pleasantly engaging and enjoyable conversations were had. Sports fans always have plenty to talk about. The only thing missing is a outside shade when sitting on the porch at 6pm you may need a hat to keep the sun out of your eyes. Enjoy 😉
