Diner
Betty's Diner is a charming and intimate establishment that prides itself on its 1960s diner ambiance. The service is exceptional, with diligent servers donning name tags bearing the name Betty. Patrons appreciate the personal approach and the genuine concern of the staff for their satisfaction. This retro-themed American diner offers a variety of breakfast and lunch favorites, both indoors and outdoors. It has long been a beloved cultural institution, known for its friendly atmosphere and popularity within the community.
This is the view right from the parking lot where we waited for our take out order. Beautiful. The girls were friendly, food was above expectations (highly recommend the sweet potato fries), and prices were fair!

On the first visit the Denver omelet had maybe a spoonful of ingredients. The hash browns were over cooked and couldn't be eaten. I asked for better ones they came back fine. On my second visit I asked if I should order extra ingredients for my omelette since the first time there wasn't many in there and they said no that was just a fluke. This time The Omelette came just fine. But they had trouble with English muffin it was burned I asked if they could make me one unburned and it brought me one back lightly toasted an oversaturated in butter I had to take out spoonfuls. Kind of like warm bread. I asked if there was an in between and the waiter said there was not it was either overcooked or undercooked no in between. I believe there is a in between. On to my third visit. After ordering I could smell burnt toast and since the other two sets of customers we're already eating that was more than likely my friends toast I jokingly said sounds like your toast is burning. Once again I ordered the omelette it was fine my friends food was fine her hash browns were perfect and mine were pure white. So I asked if I could have mine like my friends crispy with white in the middle. The remake of the hash browns came back just right. The toast on the other hand was burnt black. I asked him if we could have some other toast and he argued with me and said it was not burnt I said it is bird she doesn't want to eat it I will pay for other toast can we have different toast please. He comes back and says I had a hard time making it I burnt the first set also. Basically agreeing that the first set was burnt as well at that point. This is the first time he showed his passive aggressive behavior. After going home I just got you this with my friend she was a waitress she said she would have never brought that under cook hash browns are burnt toast to our table she would have sent them back to the Cook before serving it to us. We talked a little more and figured I should reach out to the owner and share the experience so maybe she can improve it. I called and a waiter who served me answered at first he was willing to give my number to the owner and then he showed that passive aggressive behavior again and said that he did not want to give her that information and that he also did not want me to ever come into the restaurant again as I was nitpicking. Not willing to take that answer I called back a second time and talked to the waitress she said the owner did not want to talk to me. I find the inconsistent cooking the argumentative food staff and the lack of the owners wanting to improve these conditions one of the worst places I've been I would not recommend it to anyone until they are willing to improve these things.

This Diner is a fantastic option. Sunday in Polson and everything is closed. We chose to go to Betty's (never been here before) after driving by for years. We didn't know what to expect. It was busy and people looked happy. The daily special was Ruben sandwich soup and Corn Beef Hash and eggs. That's what I ordered and I was completely blown away as to the fresh delicious quality. Then we noticed Betty is the one cooking behind the line, No Wonder!! We wanted to thank her for the hospitality and we really enjoyed everything. The exterior didn't match the cuteness and cleanliness of the interior. Such a wonderful option when in Polson and a fantastic menu with items made from scratch. Thank you Betty for having us. We will definitely be back! Wow!

Great view. Cool atmosphere. Very friendly staff. Food is classic, won’t change your life, but it definitely won’t disappoint.

Service is excellent. All the servers wear nametags that read “Betty.” 60s diner atmosphere is fun. The good part of this review is over. I’ve mulled this over for a few hours, trying to figure out why the reviews are generally so positive. The locals seem to love this place. The parking lot is full of local license plates (15- Lake County). The iced tea was pretty good. It helped wash down the food. The fish and chips were mealy, both the French fries and the fish tasted like frozen, packaged grocery store products. The chewy textures were the same. The tartar sauce was inedible. Cole slaw was not good either. Did I mention that the iced tea was good?
Doug Kueffler — Google review
We were visiting friends in Polson and decided to try Betty's. We waited about 5-7 minutes to get seated. It was pretty busy for such a small place. My friend got the French toast and I got the biscuits & gravy. The French toast was decent. It was just your basic bread, nothing special. It tasted decent though. The biscuits & gravy were pretty good. The gravy was actual sausage gravy and the biscuits were decent as well. They could have probably salted the gravy and hashbrowns a bit more They cooked the bacon really well. The service was pretty fast and as attentive as two people could be considering how busy it was. The portions were ginormous. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I'll be back next time I visit.
Bruce Leadbetter — Google review
I really can't understand some of the negative reviews, other than people having unrealistic expectations. It's a small town diner, people! My wife and I have been several times over the past few months and it's become our favorite local spot for brunch--the food is decent, the prices are reasonable, the servers are always very friendly, and it's got a great view of the lake. Is it a bit cramped? Yes, it's a small roadside diner--be prepared to sit close and maybe wait a few minutes during the busy season. Is it the best food you'll ever have? Nope, it's a small town diner and definitely leans toward "greasy spoon" fare, but it does that well. Could the prices be less? Sure, but everything is expensive these days and some of the "bourgeoisie" spots in town are charging over $20/plate for brunch, so relatively speaking it's a bargain. If you set your expectations correctly then I guarantee you'll have a pleasant experience here.

Hands down the best diner I’ve been to in years. The service was amazing, the food and the atmosphere to match. They also allowed my puppy to sit outside on their outdoor dining area with me, and they have dog food if requested. This place is awesome. P.s the prices are great too!!
Cody Warren — Google review
The only thing that I could say negative about the experience is that the place is really small. They are doing great with what they have and the service was very attentive. More so that most places. They take pride in their little establishment, and to me that's worth a lot. The burger and onion rings were excellent!. Loved it.
Gregory Maillet — Google review
Betty's is great. Everything you want in a diner plus an amazing view. Good coffee, reliable breakfast food, friendly and efficient staff, with kitschy decor. I would totally eat there again.
Jeff S — Google review
I rated this 5 stars because the food was amazing, and I only had to wait 10 minutes to get me food, which was crazy because there were so many people there. The service was great, but they did not have a lot of emotion. Besides that, it was spectacular.
Bridger Swanson — Google review
Husband and I stopped in for breakfast. Quick to take our order, but it wasn't busy. The drinks we ordered were forgotten. My husband's order was wrong. The gravy comes from a can, not even made from scratch, the prices shouldn't be that high for what you receive. My chicken fried steak had a couple raw spots. The waitress was extremely attentive towards what we could gather were locals, while our order was neglected.
Lynnae Curto — Google review
If I could give the service a 0 I would. We came in for breakfast (my husband, my one year old and I). We purchase a kids m&m pancake with bacon, a chicken fried steak, and the biscuits and gravy. We also got a coffee and a soda. Cost us $58 without tip which is crazy. What got me was the utter lack of service. We received our meal and realized quickly that we would need water as it was pretty salty. After 10+ minutes of trying to get the waiters attention to ask for water, my husband went to the counter to ask for one. The cook that the waiter was talking to rudely said “yea there’s water right there” gesturing to the other side of the counter. After receiving our water we weren’t looked at again until our ticket was brought. I would not recommend this restaurant at all. Bad service, subpar food at extreme prices.
Jaz Strong — Google review
Very small and cramped, we brought our son to this diner and the highchair took up a large space and people couldn't get through. I ordered Reese's Pieces pancakes and there were barely any Reese's Pieces in them, more like regular pancakes.

Pizza restaurant
Cove Deli & Pizza is a well-loved restaurant in downtown Polson, known for its delicious huckleberry fudge ice cream and attentive service. Despite some issues like a broken air conditioner and an 80's arcade vibe, customers appreciate the unique crust of their pizzas and the attention to detail from the staff, especially for those with dietary restrictions. The restaurant is family-friendly and locally owned, with a backstory involving the Avison family.
An atmosphere you have to see for yourself. The pizza comes out quickly and Delicious. Only complaint is that it's a bit greasy, but that's more my own preference. Worth the visit!
Jackson Hopper — Google review
We didn't like the atmosphere- it was bright, large and has an 80's arcade vibe to it. We almost went elsewhere for pizza but the reviews were good so we thought we'd try it and boy were we glad we did! It had the perfect amount of sauce and cheese with a unique crust. To us the crust was a cross between traditional dough and croissant - very delicious! I think they might have the best pizza in Polson. The atmosphere really needs to change. I'm assuming that's why we mostly ate by ourselves on a Saturday evening. I think the harsh overhead fluorescent lights may be the biggest contributor to why it felt uncomfortable. Replacing those with cheap led recessed lights would be a big update. Having fresh tap beer was a great surprise!
David Mills — Google review
The only complaints I really have is I expected more out of my sandwich, the soda machine was out of my drink and our dishes got brought at different times. I was done with mine by the time the other dish came out. Other than that it was great.
Aimee Bouldin — Google review
The food is great, but the children they have working there will be enough to keep you from coming back. Be prepared to wait 15 minutes standing behind only one person in line. Then you gotta wait for the child running the register to run in the back real quick to respond to some text messages (they don't care much about hiding it). Not sure if they even have management there or not, but if it's one of the kids playing on their phone in the back while they mad dog you for looking at them, it's only a matter of time before people stop coming back. Food is good, but service is terrible.
Polaris S — Google review
I worked at a place like this through my 20s. I loved it, probably my favorite job ever. The theme and location here is so awesome! Ive had a lot of pizza, and the cheese pull you get from here is A+. Really tasty thinner pizza crust.
Cory Combs — Google review
We hosted our daughters 9th birthday at the cove. It was awesome! The kids had a blast in the arcade and our pizza was ready to eat when we walked in the door. Delicious and fun for the whole family!
Rhiannon P — Google review
Good pizza. Nice place. The only thing is a few games are always out of order. The same 3 never seem to be working, and no out of order signs are ever on them. I don't know how many dollars my grandkids have lost to find this out. Seems like they'd just take the machines out by now and they just happen to be the funnest looking out of all the games. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Marlene Bullchild — Google review
Good pizza, they were able to get our dinner order together quickly. The building is quirky and there's ice cream right next door!
Liz Klinger — Google review
We went to The Cove for my grandson's birthday party today. They were very accommodating and the pizza was amazing. Thank you Jason!
Jeremy Uhde — Google review
My husband and I both got the huckleberry fudge ice cream and it was SO GOOD! I've got celiac and the gentleman behind the counter even went to wash off the scoop before getting mine. Great service with great ice cream... We'll definitely be back! PS... To whoever owns the place... The air conditioner really needs fixed... It was SO HOT inside... Even hotter than outside which is saying something because the feel like temperature outside was 100°.😬
Valerie Wright — Google review
Pizza was excellent. Soft, chewy crust, lots of cheese, and great sauce. Staff was super friendly too!
Betsy C — Google review
While it was hot in the restaurant, there were enough tables outside to make this a pleasant experience. Nice guy took our customized order without complaint and the nachos came out very quickly, which was great because we were rushing to get to the Barbie movie just a few blocks away. I'd return - maybe for ice cream next time!

Nestled in Montana, the Blodgett Creamery Coffee Saloon is a quaint and charming coffee shop that offers a perfect spot to savor delicious caffeine and delectable desserts. Whether you're in need of a quick bite or seeking some of the finest fresh brewed coffee in the state, this old-fashioned saloon is an ideal destination. The industrial-style cafe has garnered praise for its menu featuring breakfast sandwiches, caramel lattes, and their renowned huckleberry cinnamon roll.
We were in town today, from Spokane, WA & came across this wonderful place, on the way to a different bakery/cafe 😊It caught our eye, so we went in. Inside and out is very classy, great use of an old building! Staff were prompt and friendly. My husband got a classic ham sandwich and I got the gyro salad. Both were delicious and portions were worth the price. I would definitely recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Polson!

Cutest industrial coffee shop. We were traveling through but the menu drew us in! We enjoyed breakfast sandwiches, caramel latte, and the huckleberry cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious! The gals were super friendly & food came out quick! Loved the atmosphere & vibe of this place. Would be someplace I could work & eat breakfast, lunch & dinner!

Awesome little cafe! Great coffee and great food! Lots of food options including hot and cold sandwiches as well as breakfast foods! We got “The Farm” breakfast burrito, croissant breakfast sandwich, egg salad sandwich, and the kids grilled cheese! The design inside is very well done with a clean brick and ornate white ceilings. Lots of great historic art as well. There are other items for sale here as well! The branding is also wonderful. Great things here, check it out if you’re in town. Also, they have some kids toys that were clutch in entertaining the kiddos!

This is a really cool little place to check out. They've got a great atmosphere. It's a neat place to sit and chill for a while. Today I just got a blueberry scone, and it was very tasty. VERY friendly service today.

Stopped by to get a snack and snagged a mug while we were there, they have a great merch selection! Got a couple snacks, they have a great selection of food. Look forward to returning sometime!

Very friendly staff. Food was HOT and FRESH. Coffee was good and strong, not that sweet stuff you find in national chains. AND they had sugar free syrups along with multiple nondairy milk options for a finicky stomach. Super cute atmosphere! Definitely recommend 👌

Fabulous little coffee shop. Breakfast was so tasty, I forgot to take a "before" picture! Orange cranberry muffin with sugar chunks on top and a cinnamon crunch scone. Nice girls behind the counter too

Barbecue restaurant
Fast food restaurant
Cherries BBQ Pit in Polson, Montana is a must-visit for BBQ enthusiasts. This restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor dining options, with gluten-free choices available. What sets Cherries apart is their use of fruit wood to slow smoke their meat, resulting in a unique and delicious flavor. Their menu features mouthwatering dishes like pulled pork, bacon corn, and spicy taquitos. Visitors rave about the jalapeno honey pulled pork and creamy corn sides.
This place is a little gem. Absolutely delicious food. The staff is friendly. The ribs fall off the bone and are so good. I'd easily say the best ribs I've ever had. The BBQ sauce selections are tasty. We had the beans, chips and coleslaw for sides with a huckleberry lemonade and it was all fantastic. The burnt ends are super meaty and they give a generous portion.
Julianna Ruisla — Google review
The staff was super friendly. The smoked chicken, beans and coleslaw were good but the meat was not warm. The “dine in” option is picnic tables outside. There is no restroom available for customers.
Denise Craigen — Google review
This place is delicious! They have large sandwiches with 2 sides for a really reasonable price (~$11). The brisket, pulled pork, and baked beans are each so flavorful! Lots of BBQ sauces to choose from. I’m never disappointed. There are picnic tables outside to sit and eat.
Kalli Decker — Google review
Wow! Had the Cherry Pit Salad with Brisket. Great taste, huge amount of food. Also had the pulled pork sandwich with Honey BBQ sauce - filling size and great tasting sauce. Ribbon fries gets you a whole bag of them. Also delicious. Staff was very courteous and good looking. Second time to Flathead Lake, first time to Cherrys BBQ, definitely coming back here next time I make my way through.
Noah Taylor — Google review
Awesome barbeque with outside seating. Meat falls off the bone and service is ready quickly. Also, offer drive thru pick-up. Can't imagine a better BBQ place. Great for families, teams or casual dining.

Best ribs and tipsmania we’ve ever had! great spot, outdoor seating, fantastic homemade huckleberry lemonade, and attentive service. Their house sides (ribbon chips, bacon corn and peas salad) are just incredible. Now the question is - why are they selling it?! Hope the future owners instill the same amount of TLC in this little gem.
Javier Gómez García — Google review
Never disappointed. Sandwiches are always phenomenal, especially love the porkchop 🥰 sandwich. Ribbon fries and peas with cheese salad are delicious. Well heck, everything is wonderful!!!

Great food, short wait times, and cool old school diner feel. Prices are pretty good for the quality of food. If your thinking about going, I suggest you do. 😉 always a polson favorite.
Joshua W — Google review
We got there around 5:30 but they were literally out of everything except two chicken sandwiches and ribbon fries and I also got a salad..Awesome salad too. We got the chicken and enjoyed our food in the garden seating area. I can understand why they sell out; the quality is top shelf. Also..I can hardly wait to get back and try more varieties of this amazing BBQ!
Valley Girl 406 — Google review
Best barbeque I've ever had. For sweet & lil spicy, order the jalapeno honey pulled pork. Huckleberry lemonade is also super yummy. The corn is by far the best side dish they have. So creamy. Also fair prices-less than $30 for 2 sandwiches, 4 sides of corn and a side of extra sauce. Too bad their nice ice cream shop neighbor was replaced with a weed shop. And just to note, no public restrooms.
Chelsea Rendleman — Google review
Some of the best northern bbq I've had. They will let you order a brisket plate even though it's not (yet) on the menu. The brisket was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend the beans and creamy bacon corn.
Avery Ty — Google review
The reviews were good so I knew we would be happy stopping here along on our road trip, but it was so good that we ended up visiting 2 days in a row!!! It is a small place, looks a bit like a coffee stand. It has a small dine in area, a small outside dining area with picnic tables and a drive through. The first day we visited it was late, and they only make so much of each thing and when it is gone.... it is gone for the day. So the Mr did not get to have brisket as it was sold out, as was the corn. However the special of the day was a Southwestern Spicy pork and it was oh so good. Each plate is $8-$10 and comes with 2 sides. The portions are big and very filling. One the first day we got 2 of the specials and had so much we ate it for lunch and dinner! The "fries" spiral cut potatoes in ribbons were a cross between a fry and a potato chip all hooked together. Sinfully yummy! We also got the Baked Beans - really good. The sandwiches were some of the best flavored pork I have ever tasted! The next day we went into Polson again from the State park early to do some grocery shopping and when we were done they were just opening so the Mr got his Brisket - he was in heaven! And this time the Bacon Cream Corn was also available so we got that and oh my - so delicious! The sauces are all really good - especially the Jalepeno Honey and the Siracha. They also had a special huckleberry lemonade that was really good. I got a large and saved half for late in the day and made an adult lemonade shaken with vodka than was amazing! If I am anywhere within a couple hundred miles of this place again.... you will find me there in no time!
Dawn (We Always WAnder) — Google review
I’m not too sure how this place has such a high rating. It took a bit to have a chance to order and then, when we got to the window, there’s a sign that says what they are sold out of, which was pretty much everything. All they had left was pulled pork. We then waited a bit for our food, and weren’t very impressed. The Coleslaw was mediocre and the baked beans hearty but not flavorful. The pulled pork was actually quite good, and their “fries” (which are potato chips) were home made and tasted pretty good as well, with the perfect amount of salty and savory. While there, their restrooms were closed, as well as interior dining (thanks covid) so we sat outside and were instantly swarmed with bees. I’d say, if I lived in this town and was tired of other places I’d eat here, but not sure it’d be enough to draw me in again.

Customers appreciate the reasonable prices and the delectable, freshly prepared cuisine. The portions are also generous, often sufficient for sharing or taking home leftovers. This popular eatery has received positive reviews and offers an authentic culinary experience. It has been praised for its use of fresh ingredients, with no claims of using frozen meat or vegetables.
Best fried rice ever. I can never bring myself to order anything else because it’s so good!!

I hate writing bad reviews, especially since up until this point we’ve always had a good experience. It’s been a couple years since I ate here and we got two pad thai tofu dishes and the shrimp tempura appetizer. The shrimp was old, lukewarm, and the breading was soggy. You can see in the photo, its covered in what looks like little black bits that come from a dirty fryer. 11.50 for those. The pad thai on the right was pretty good— the one on the left, however, was bland and mushy and tasted strange. You can see the tofu disintegrating in the one in the left while it’s firm on the one on the right. Old? Bad batch? Employees were great but we won’t be coming back after this :(

We took a little break from our bikes to enjoy a vegetarian lunch here on a beautiful Friday. We got Pad Thai, Drunken Noodles, and Mixed Veggies all with Tofu as the protein. I especially liked the drunken noodles, Everything was good.

Amazing food cooked fresh and authentically. Read through some of the previous reviews and was shocked to see that people claimed the business used frozen meat. I spoke to the manager and was informed that their meat and vegetables are delivered fresh and was provided with all the carrier information. Honest people, great food. Definitely the place to eat in polson!

We had a pad Thai. Very sweet, very wet noodles. Easy parking, prices were ok. No toilet, in this take out only restaurant. I'll not give it another chance.

Amazing authentic Thai food! The flavors are mouth watering! Hard to pick a favorite dish but the PANENG CURRY! So good!

Hot Spot Thai Café - Hands down, the best food place in Polson! I love everything on its menu. My food is usually ready very quickly, because when I am hungry, I do not like to wait. The menu is quite extensive and has good choices, unlike the Korean food place (Only 3-4 items in the menu & not true Korean Food!). Food is definitely mouth watering at the Hot Spot, healthy and it has fast service! People work here is always friendly and helpful. It is very conveniently located on the US Hwy 93 and also open for 6 days, between 11:30am-8pm. The owner Gop seems to put her heart into her cooking and everything is just YUM. My favorites are definitely Pad Thai with beef and Tom Ka with chicken- they are very healthy too. As long as one can convey the spiciness level correctly, food is YUM-YUM. Portions and Prices are reasonable. It is only for take-outs, there is no dining services as I am writing this review, but I love take outs, so it works for me well. Often I call in to place my order...so I hardly wait, but my food is always hot, both temperature and taste bud wise. Grab some hearty/mouth watering Thai food here- you won't regret!

Been eating here for 20 years now. I’ve travelled all over and had lots of Thai food to compare it to, and I still love it and keep coming back. My favorites are Tom Kha, Drunken Noodles, Garlic Stir Fry, and all her curries.

A gem in Polson! Always love the Panang. Some good comfort food with a warm spice. The perfect lunch on the beach in early spring. We were recommended a Thai snack by the cook, she was so friendly! We tried it and it’s yummy: a green apple dipped in fish sauce. Really fun. Thank you for a great experience.

I stop here every time I come through town. Whenever I pass through I always have the chicken Pad Thai. It is always fresh and delicious! It’s the only thing I have ever tried here because it is sooo good! I have eaten here with other people and what they ordered looked delicious as well. Best Pad Thai in the state! Also, the young man that always waits on me is one of the most pleasant young people I have met recently.
