Makoto is a sushi restaurant in Miami that offers modern, upscale Japanese entrees. It's one of the best sushi restaurants in the area, with an extensive menu offering fresh fish. The Spicy Tuna Crispy Rice is a popular dish here.
We had such an amazing meal the first time we went that we actually went back again the next day for an encore. The service was great. The food was tasty and well presented. We had asked them to bring out their most popular dishes until we were full and they did not disappoint. Everything photographed was delicious. I highly recommend all the items we got.

Came here with my sister for lunch. Even though we didn’t have a reservation, they satisfy quickly we sat outside on the porch and the music was perfect. It wasn’t too loud. It was busy, but because we were outside it was also not too loud with everyone speaking. The service was overall good although they did get one item on our order mixed up. I recommend the Mezcal drink I forgot the name. We had an amazing scallop Crudo that was probably my favorite item alongside the lamb and the sauce that the lamb came with. We also had the spicy tuna, crispy rice, as well as a yellow tail roll and grilled avocado. The grilled avocado is amazing and I’ve had it several times here.even though they did mess up one item, they immediately corrected it. I would definitely come here again and again.

What a special space. I love the new Makoto on the 3 floor. So much more space and a feeling of luxury. Food is always delicious and service is always great. Highly recommend the Brussels and rock shrimp. Can’t go wrong with any of their sushi rolls. My friend got chicken and rice and enjoyed her plate. Carlos and Makoto thank you so much for the experience.

Located on the 3rd floor of the Bal Harbour Shops, Makoto serves some seriously tasty Japanese cuisine. The sushi is fresh and of great quality. The cooked options are full of flavor and prepared to perfection. The service was friendly and attentive.

Makoto is an absolute gem in Miami. The sushi here is truly exceptional, among the best in the city. The restaurant's atmosphere is enchanting, with elegant decor and a relaxing ambiance. The service at Makoto was also commendable. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, ensuring that every need was met throughout the evening. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and answer any questions I had about the menu. Highly recommended for an unforgettable dining experience!

Came here on Sunday during brunch time. Our waiter was amazing- great service and sense of humor. Sushi was delicious. Drinks were unique and tasty. The fried rice was pretty good. Disappointed in the steak - zero flavor and for the price you pay, you would expect more. Definitely expect to drop a pretty penny here but it is a nice place to try if you are in the area.

Really busy restaurant, but the wait was not too long as they seem to be very organized. Service was fast and professional ! The menu is quite limited but had some great options , great sushi and sashimi selection . The watermelon ceviche is a must !
Carmen Rendi — Google review
The food here is fantasic, all fresh ingredients, from the fish to the waygu beef. They use koshihikari rice, which gives the sushi a slightly different, but above average taste and consistency. Even the coffee was excellent. The only negatives aside from the price (which is to be expected in Bar Harbour Shops) is that it is loud - no baffling for the sound indoors where we were seated, which resulted in not being able to hear the person next to me, nor could the waiter hear us at times, which resulted in missing a part of our order. I didn't take points off for that because it wasn't his fault and when we asked for it again, it came out quickly. Otherwise, the service was excellent. The restaurant is also very yellow on the inside (reflected in the attached pics), if you don't like yellow and you want to be able to carry on a conversation, try to get a seat outside.

I think we almost ordered every app they had and all I have to say is wow. Everything is super delicious and vibrant. My favorite dish was the hot stone and one of the yellow tail dishes. I would definitely recommend and I am for sure going back.

After spending some time in Bal Harbour in late June, I’ve found Makoto to be a staple when it comes to dining at Bal Harbour Shops. During my first visit, I was able to enjoy dinner service at about 9pm. Pictured is the usagi (similar to a pisco sour), tuna crispy rice (the house specialty), rock shrimp, spicy edamame, Japanese eggplant, shishito peppers, lychee and Mochi. Everything was absolutely delicious. Favorites were reordered (rock shrimp, tuna crispy rice and shishito peppers). That’s not to say the other plates weren’t good but these three were just that good. Drinks were all consistent as well. I switched over to a spicy pineapple margarita while my guests kept with the spicy margarita option that stayed super tasty and always refilled after meeting our server, Anthony. He was super friendly and attentive throughout our entire stay. So much that we can back a few days later for lunch and was hosted my Maddie. She is such a delight and was also super friendly and welcoming while eating at the bar. The last two photos are the sushi bar options (chu-toro, king Salmon, tamago and a spicy yellowtail roll). The sushi was incredibly fresh and worth the visit. Hopeful to visit in the future very soon! Make sure you make reservations if you can because there can be quite a wait if not. Overall, Makoto is definitely my new favorite.

Very busy place in the very busy mall. The place had a reputation of very good quality food and I heard of them a long time ago. At last, I had my personal experience. The wait was 1.5 hrs, so reservations highly recommended. It's a good thing that this place is in the mall, so it was easy to kill a waiting time. The food was really good, I strongly recommend getting their beef carpaccio, crispy rice, sea bass, noodles with ground beef. Also, you should really try their desert Toban Yaki, one of the best I ever tried.
Alex Serebrov — Google review
BRYANT!!!!!! Best server ever. We walked up after walking the mall and got seated at the sushi bar. What an experience. Everything Bryant recommended or steered us towards turned out to be delicious. We had cocktails, 3 rolls, avocado!, wagu hot stone, mango dessert. I will definitely be back and making tons of recommendations to get a reservation. The night we went there was also an amazing DJ because it was Friday and the vibe was on point!
Amy Arentson — Google review
Came on Wednesday night and it was busy. The atmosphere and the service at Makoto are near perfect. We only ordered sushi and crispy rice hamachi and spicy tuna. The amount of rice vinegar use to make the rice is too overpowering taking away the flavor of the fish itself. And the end of our meal, we couldn’t even use soy sauce to pair with our sushi; everything started to taste sour like the vinegar. Everything else was as fresh as it can be. We had the $80 combination platter which I recommend over the $60. Excellent staff and very welcoming to first time diners.
Zeke — Google review
Located in the terrace of Bal harbour shops, the restaurant has a cool vibe, a quality crowd and a trendy interior. They serve Japanese inspired dishes, which individually taste nice, but not on an unforgettable level. The menu is a bit fragmented, so I would re-visit to enjoy a beer with some appetizers on the cool terrace.
Emrah Balkan — Google review
Some of the finest sushi available in the United States served up in a chic and wonderful atmosphere. Additionally, the staff are absolutely fantastic.
Stephen — Google review
Great location especially since it’s a busy restaurant. Can leave your name and then walk around til the table is ready. Food was good but a bit on the overly sauced/ overly salty side. I would just order the sushi next time and stay away from the saucy apps.
Alison Lee — Google review
Makoto, nestled in the upscale Bal Harbour Shops, offers an excellent dining experience that merges a stylish ambiance with top-tier Japanese cuisine. While some might hesitate at the idea of a restaurant in a mall setting, Makoto stands out as a delightful sanctuary, perfect for a gourmet break in a day of shopping. The meal commenced with an outstanding serving of Brussels sprouts, paired with a glass of Sancerre that was as crisp as the conversation. The tuna crispy rice followed, setting a high bar and easily ranking as one of the best I’ve savored. The cucumber seaweed salad was a refreshing interlude, with a vinegary zest that cleansed the palate beautifully. The vegetable fried rice was competent, though it didn’t quite dazzle amidst the other standout dishes. A slight letdown was the cucumber roll, which, while fresh, was too sparing on the cucumber for my liking. Service throughout was efficient and unobtrusive, encapsulating the high-quality service that enhances the dining experience. Rating Makoto, I’d say it’s a solid 4 out of 5 on food for its mostly impressive offerings, a 4 out of 5 on ambiance for its chic setting despite the mall location, and a full 5 out of 5 on service for the attentive and professional staff. In summary, Makoto is a must-visit for those seeking exquisite Japanese cuisine in Miami, with a few minor tweaks away from perfection.
Shere Saidon — Google review
Had gone to the other location three times before, with two being good experiences and one being a bad one. This was the first time at the new place and I have to say I'm impressed. They have ample seating, with pleasant options inside and outside. The decoration is tasteful, the staff is friendly, and the food didn't take long to come out. For starters, we order the hamachi ponzu, the truffle salmon, and the skewered octopus. All were excellent - but highlight to the octopus. Then we had a few rolls, namely the negi toro, the salmon, the rainbow, and the caterpillar. They all tasted amazing. Price is a bit on the more expensive side, although I believe the experience and the quality of the food make up for it.
Yuri — Google review
The edamame were lovely even though I was hesitant due to the color, the sea salt is always a great touch. The rest of the food was really good, the rainbow roll is considerably bigger in size than the spicy tuna. I’d come back. The teas were good as well.

Carpaccio Restaurant is a bustling Italian dining spot located in the Bal Harbour Shops, attracting a trendy crowd of locals and celebrities. The restaurant has expanded its outdoor seating area, offering ample opportunities for people-watching and glimpses of luxury cars arriving for valet parking. It's a favorite among shoppers and known for its delicious Italian cuisine, particularly its razor-thin salmon or filet served in various styles.
Busy on Monday. Be ready to make a line and wait. Know that the line does move fast. They do their best to accommodate everyone quickly. Service is attentive. Food was tasty. We had chocolate soufflé. It didn’t come out warm, but the center was melted chocolate. Came with scoop of ice cream. Food was good portions and tasty.
Jeile Marie — Google review
Overall a great experience! Seating outside was a nice touch and great atmosphere with great service and excellent food! All of those things must meld together as one to make it a great dining location. While there you must obviously have what’s in the restaurant name, carpaccio! Delicious food and gotta have dessert to close out a delicious dinner!

Nice Italian restaurant located at the Bal Harbour shopping center. They offer indoor, outdoor as well as bar area seating. Menu is diverse and portions are large. We enjoyed the grilled octopus salad, the veal lamb chop and the Harry’s Bar pasta. They also have a large dessert menu. Overall good experience, except at time we felt rushed by servers constantly coming to the table to remove plates while we were still eating.

Stopped in for a quick bite today at Bal Harbor. The quality of the food and the presentation were lacklustre. The burrata is what I would imagine if a blind person who has never seen a burrata before decided to make one. The 4 cheese pizza was ok but nothing special. I’ve also never had an espresso that was a full cup of watered down coffee. I’m hoping this was just an off day as I could not figure out how this place was so highly rated.
Peter N — Google review
Simply delicious! Is Italian but they don’t have good wines (so you know). The service is very good and the food, just amazing! It is a very good place to go with friends or girlfriend/boyfriend, they have a valet just in front. Is within the Perl Harbour mall and it’s a bit elegant, so wear something nice. 🤟🏻

Delicious food, would highly recommend the lobster pasta, carpaccio and margarita pizza. The ambience was amazing as well. However, I was disappointed by the unfriendly service we received. Some of the staff members seemed disinterested and unengaged, which made our dining experience less enjoyable than it could have been. While I understand that restaurants can get busy and staff can have bad days, I believe that customer service is an essential part of any dining experience. I hope that Carpaccio will take steps to improve their service in the future, as I would love to return for their delicious food.

Nice Italian restaurant located at the Bal Harbour shopping center. They offer indoor, outdoor as well as bar area seating. Menu is diverse and portions are large. The food is delicious. The service is perfect. The atmosphere is good. If you arrive and there is a line, don’t let that deter you. The line moves quick and you will get seated. Located in Bal Harbor shopping center, ground floor. They have outdoor and indoor seating. I prefer outdoor seating so you can enjoy seeing Mall clienteles arriving at valet parking in their Bentleys, and Lamborghinis 😁 it’s quite a show and fun to watch. Who is waiting for which car, guessing game. We got Caprese salad , for appetizer. Warning it a a huge size salad, enough for two at minimum. Also Cesar salad which was good size and Calamari. They were all good. Fusilli pasta was tasty and reasonable size. What I was not happy with was this: I went to bathroom and when I came back my son told me they head server not Alejandro, told him he can not wait for me to come back since they are in a rush. So he could not wait for a few minutes for me to come back, although there were available tables indoor and outdoor. That was weird and did not expect that for a supposedly classy and expensive restaurant. For each person you will end up 50-70$.
Ardi — Google review
This restaurant is in a beautiful shopping center with outdoor and indoor seating. I high hopes but left a bit disappointed. The food came out super fast. Too fast to be made to order. The beef carpaccio felt a bit modular in that the heart of palm was in a certain corner of the plate, arugula I'm another corner, parma in another corner. The linguine in a clam sauce. The pasta was not at all fresh and was a bit dry. Undo positives, the service was fast and friendly. The menu pricing was very reasonable. Overall, I think if you want a nice looking restaurant and are okay with chain restaurant quality food, this is a good place. If you're looking for fine Italian dining or something particularly authentic, this is not the place.
Minh Hua — Google review
Shocked to see this place still standing at Bal Harbour. Our food came desaturated. The Caesar salad I ordered was soggy with chicken as dry as the desert. The pasta worse than a can of Chef Boyardee. After two bites, we sent the food back to the chef. They begged us to order more but we wanted nothing more to do with the restaurant. Went to Makoto upstairs instead and had a great dinner.

The food is delicious. The service is perfect. The atmosphere is good. If you arrive and there is a line, don’t let that deter you. The line moves quick and you will get seated. You can’t go wrong with anything you choose on the menu, but if they have branzino, get it.

Carpaccio‘s restaurant in Bal Harbour I called to make a reservation they told me right no reservations first come first serve. I was OK with that. I showed up at 6:30. There was no waiting. They said a table of four right away. They wanted to know if I wanted inside or outside we sat inside. There was plenty of seating available. The waiters were right on top of us, asking us what we needed as we waited for our other party to show up the food was out of this world great Italian choices from fish to pasta to pizza. You won’t be disappointed here everything was off the chain delicious we had a margarita pizza to veal chops with the salad on the Top, a Seabass dish and a salmon all better than any restaurant and the service was incredible Kudos to Daniel he gave great service him and his team

Top notch restaurant, everything here is high end. From service, drinks, food, presentation, ambiance and even the customers. One of the best sea food salads I’ve ever had in such a long time, very fresh and light & worth the price for the portion they give out. It could be a meal for one or shared by multiple. Linguini mushroom pasta was very tasty & light rich in flavors. I asked for a a hot sauce and waitress came back with a spicy marinara which was really amazing. Def be back to try also different cocktails, watermelon mojito was just perfect. 💚

Visiting Carpaccio at Bal Harbour was a delightful experience, and ordering the veal dish truly highlighted the restaurant’s dedication to authentic Italian cuisine. The veal was tender and cooked to perfection, accompanied by a harmoniously balanced sauce that enhanced but did not overpower the natural flavors of the meat. The portion was generous, making the meal satisfying both in terms of quantity and quality. The ambiance of Carpaccio added greatly to the dining experience. Opting to sit on the outdoor terrace, I enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere of Bal Harbour Shops, which provided an excellent backdrop for a leisurely meal. The service was impeccable—attentive without being intrusive, adding a touch of personal care that made the evening more special. The quality of the food and the overall dining experience made it a worthwhile indulgence. For anyone looking for a fine dining experience with a strong Italian flair in Miami, Carpaccio at Bal Harbour is a must-visit.

Fantastic food; the tiramisu was homemade and is a must-try. The grilled calamari for an appetizer is needed for everyone to share. Don't forget to get a mint lemon citrus tea to complete the night. Service was just okay. However, the food made up for that.

Outstanding place to treat yourself once in a while! It’s certainly very expensive but it’s worth every cent in my opinion. My mom and I tried their specialties of the day: Chilean sea bass with grilled vegetables and Lobster with capellini pasta. Both were top tier. I love fish and I consider this sea bass to be easily the best fish I’ve tried in my life! The service is also so attentive that it makes you feel like a celebrity😆 If you are in the zone, I would definitely recommend going.

Be very careful! We were given the wrong check tonight charged Automatically without any signature per the iPad of the Bartender. The bill was $250 over what we ordered. We never signed for it. We noticed the mistake we had already been charged. She tried to correct it, but it takes 5 to 7 days to get the refund. After speaking to the manager, and then the head manager, they did nothing to fix the problem just said we’re sorry! After 15 years, we will not return to this restaurant! They couldn’t care about the fraud! Beware!

Le Zoo is a restaurant in Bal Harbour Shops that offers exquisite French cuisine as well as Italian fare. The restaurant has an authentic French feel and features classic dishes alongside a deep wine list. The restaurant is open 11:30am to 9:00pm, and reservations are recommended.
We came here for an early lunch on a Friday and sat on the patio. Waitress was very attentive and quick with our food. The location is very nice right by the valet stand. Patio is covered and has lots of room.

We ordered a grilled fish sandwich and a Turkey club sandwich. The fish sandwich was: horrendous. It tasted extremely bitter with the kale and a sauce that did not compliment the fish. The brioche bun was the only good thing there. On the other hand, the turkey club was amazing. The bread was probably one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Grilled to perfection, buttered and with a really nice sauce. The turkey, avocado, tomato, and bacon complimented it very well. If it wasn’t for the fish sandwich, our experience would have been five stars.

Enjoyed a very nice brunch with girlfriends on a Saturday. We got a perfect outdoor table. The food was delicious and the vibe electric. The reason for only 4 stars is because service was very sporadic. It was difficult to get water refills and Our waiter disappeared several times which, for a party of 6, can be extra frustrating. It was my first time at Le Zoo. Because the food and vibe were so good, I would definitely go again during a less busy time.

Le Zoo never disappoints. Like it’s sister Le Parc on Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, this Stephen Starr French bistro never disappoints. The steak tartare is excellent, and I love that they divide the Niçoise salad if you’re sharing it. The burger and steak frites are perfectly prepared. I always have a Martini or Negroni before wine, any the bar men are always on point. Jonathan was on top of his game as our server. Will continue to come back to this Bal Harbour staple.

I don’t usually put 5 stars reviews but this place deserves it. We made a reservation, we arrived 30min earlier and they were able to seat us. Food was exquisite and fast service. I think that prices are fair enough for Miami. Definitely coming back when I’m in the area.

Enjoyed a delicious dinner here with mouth watering French food in a classy atmosphere . Jean-Marc is a wonderful waiter and was extremely informative about the menu . Some items on the menu that I enjoyed were the cucumber soup with was delicious and fresh as well as the Hazelnut Escargot which was warm and flavorful . This restaurant is must for anyone looking forward for a sophisticated dinner with many wonderful options !

We recently dined at Le Zoo, a French brasserie nestled in the upscale locale of Bal Harbour, near Miami. This area is renowned for its high-end shops, designer boutiques, and a variety of restaurants. It’s not uncommon to spot celebrities and other high-profile figures frequenting the Bal Harbour shops. Over the years, we have had the pleasure of dining at several restaurants in this area. On this occasion, we chose to visit this French-Mediterranean establishment for dinner. We opted to sit on the patio, despite the interior of the restaurant being quite beautiful. The outdoor seating offered a cozy ambiance with views of palm trees. The restaurant boasted a wide selection of oysters and caviars. However, we decided on sauteed foie gras, and onion soup gratinee for our appetizers. The foie gras, although small in portion, was delectable, especially when paired with marmalade. The french onion soup was also superb. For our main course, we ordered steak frites, grilled salmon, duck l’orange, and butter noodles for our grandson. The butter noodles, which were essentially spaghetti, were served in a small portion and were quite buttery, which our grandson did not particularly enjoy. The orange duck, on the other hand, was quite flavorful. The steak frites and grilled salmon with citrus tabbouleh were also very tasty. For dessert, we indulged in vanilla bean creme brulee and profiteroles with ice cream. As someone who is well-acquainted with the authentic taste of creme brulee, I must say, this creme brulee was genuinely true to its original flavor. Profiteroles were also delightful, but they were a bit heavy for me. Another noteworthy aspect of our dining experience was the availability of mosquito repellent upon request. This thoughtful gesture significantly contributed to our overall satisfaction as customers.

I love this place! The atmosphere is very romantic, cozy and perfect for a date. I appreciate that they use real candles and not the ones with batteries. This restaurant is also good for families reunions. The quality of food is excellent. I had fish (trout). Good flavor and fresh. They put butter on the top, but is not a cheap one, so the flavor is different. Oysters are fresh, and they come in small sizes. The "frites", the meat with french fries and very delicious. Is not the regular french fries that you esta in other places. The menu has a good variety of food, like: caviar, fish, meat, fish, pizza, burger and pasta. The wine menu is small, but good. Design and decoration is old school, classic with a french feeling. Chic and warm vibes. My favorite seat is inside by the french door with windows. I think is a little bit crowded and busy in the outside tables. If this is for a date, definitely I suggest you to take the table inside.

It’s a very likely place located in the mall however, the inside of the restaurant is beautiful. My fish was cooked perfectly and the service was great. I find the carpaccio was a bit bland but it was still good. The scallops, however, were one of the best scallops I’ve had.

The best onion soup and burger in town. Love this place because for some weird reason its never packed so you can normally count on getting a table as a walk in (unlike the other places in Bal Harbor where you’re more likely to spot a UFO than get a table without a reservation on a weekend)

Le Zoo is located on the 1st level at Bal Harbour Shoppes with the main restaurant along the curbside and additional seating in the middle courtyard area. I prefer the inside of the main restaurant because of the ambiance created by the French and retro fusion decor. I always make a reservation, but there are usually tables available, plus there is seating at the bar area (but not much). The service here is usually very good, along with the management checking in to make sure everything is satisfactory. All of the food was fresh and prepared exactly as ordered. One of the things that stands out to me is the Cold Seafood Platter - all fresh and delicious! The only thing I don't like about this restaurant is the bathroom - it really needs some cleaning and upgrading - but not enough to take a star off. Bon Appétit!

Atlantikos is a trendy Greek restaurant situated within the St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort, renowned for its seafood-focused sharing plates and stylish ambiance characterized by white and blue tiles. It has gained a reputation as one of the must-visit dining establishments in the area, promising an exquisite culinary journey with a Greek flair. While some patrons found the food to be good but not exceptional, they appreciated the delicate seasoning choices that may have been intentional.
The quality of this food is truly five-star, a little bit overpriced, but very good quality. The hostess was perfect, the service could have been a little better, considering the price one pays. Regards to the hotel, wow a spectacular failure in management. In the rooms they had Pure Life Nestle water, from costco, literally pay 50 cents more to get Fiji to make a good impression, when people are dropping more than $1,000 per night per room.

Last Miami Spice stop before end of month and a good way to end two months a fine dining and indulging in some of the best food in Miami. The restaurant is located at the St Regis which is just a stunning hotel and the entrance lobby is gorgeous. Can’t necessarily say the same for this restaurant because truth be told, it was a little underwhelming as far as the vibes is concerned. It might be too lit as far as the actual lighting is concerned or the mostly white aesthetic but it didn’t work for me, personally. Now as far as service and food, well that’s a different story. Yoel, the server, was most professional, helpful and knowledgeable but especially attentive at all times. So let’s discuss the food and drink options I opted for… ST REGIS GARDENS: wasn’t my favorite; very refreshing but lacking a good punch. APHRODITE: this one was way better, spicy, tasty and packing a good punch. That jalapeño and Tajín on the rim made the difference. GRILLED OCTOPUS: the kalamata olive sauce on the side is fire: octopus cooked to perfection with confit potatoes…spectacular BRANZINO A LA BRIAM: Branzino couldn’t have been cooked any better with golden potatoes on the side. Now the prawn pasta was an option and I looked at some photos on Yelp: portions were small, supposedly. When I tell you my friend showed up later on and her table ordered the pasta and I was mad at how delicious and generous the portion was but when does that happen? Fish was good but pasta was better, way better; I’d go for that instead. LEMON OLIVE CAKE: I’ve only tasted one other olive cake elsewhere and it was a little better. This one was on the drier side but not the worst. Once again, service was superb, food was really good but it wasn’t a memorable dining experience. They validate your valet parking ticket so you only pay $15 for parking plus tip so keep that in mind.

Got there around noon, for Miami Spice. I ordered Crispy Octopus with potatoes, Lamb Chops, & Vanilla Panna Cotta with Roasted Peaches. Good service by Jean & Bob. Nice group of Hostesses too. A tribute to my then German-American ex gf. & a French blonde lady who taught me if there’s a solution, then there is no problem. Cue in the song Let Me Go by Avril Lavigne

Absolute best Miami Spice Experience! Everything was great! First the service was exceptional. Sandro, Blanca, and the host were simply amazing. They were super friendly and attentive, definitely went above and beyond! The food! Omg the food! Large portions for Miami Spice and It was sooooo delicious! I just can’t wait to go back. This will definitely be the restaurant I try twice for miami spice! We had everything on the spice menu and I have no complaints about any of them! This restaurant just made it to the top of my list and I will be back. The restaurant is located inside the luxurious St Regis Bal Harbour next to the pool. Options for indoor and outdoor seating with a decent view of the water. Valet is $30 but the restaurant can give you a credit for 15. Easy to find and no reservation needed last I was there.

Celebrated our 5-year anniversary here. We ordered the Miami Spice Menu and we had the cheese, salad, branzino, and lamb. The lemon dessert was delicious. Everything was fresh and tasty. The lamb was fantastic(that was the highlight of our meal). Our server Johann was exceptional. He was very polite, well spoken, charismatic, and explained every dish thoroughly. Very personable and even gave us an extra desert they were testing for the upcoming fall menu (which was very good by the way). The manager came over and made sure that everything was up to par, just as your dining experience should be at 5-star resort. I would highly recommend for any occasion or your Miami Spice experience.

First of all the service was great from the beginning till the end. Food could be better. Everything was ok, nothing memorable. My favorite was fennel salad with orange. If you want to spend a quiet night, this is the place. But for foodies it’s not enough.

3.7/5 After hearing about the authentic Greek food in Atlantikos, we decided to give it a try. To begin, the food was great and the flavors were very authentic. From the lamb meatballs, to the squid, to the spinach, and olive oil, all the dishes were great. The lamb was good but nothing that you can’t have in other Mediterranean restaurants. The reason for the 3.7 rating is because of the service. After we were seated, it seemed like we just kept waiting around for our server, mind you, there were only a few tables occupied when we arrived. They also seemed to be disorganized with the orders and kept bringing dishes that weren’t ours which made for awkward exchanges.

Beautiful, clean restaurant located inside the St.Regis. Food overall was good not exceptional but good. Seasonings was a bit on the light side not sure if it was intentional. Amazing octopus, great lamb meatballs and branzino. Delicious desserts. Presentation was spot on for all the food. Service was attentive but not overbearing. Overall a nice experience. Would definitely go back again. Valet parking $28, with validation, $15.

We had a 3 course Miami spice lunch here. I got octopus for the start, branzino as main and pana cota for a desert. I paired everything with a tequila cocktail. Everything was delicious. Service was good. They do validation for valet parking that brings your fee to $15 per car. Excelent place to explore as it is in a beautiful St Regis hotel.

Waiter service above and beyond professional, pleasant atmosphere, outdoors and indoors however catering to a Jewish clientele where everyone is into healthy eating , you should not get a side of anything drenched in oil such as hash browns, inexcusable as well using cheap white bread instead of whole wheat , sourdough or rye . Backwards to use that dough rich white bread , tons of mayo and oil in everything else.

Finally, here's breakfast place with a lot of gluten free options on the menu! I hadn't had crepes for years, and the owner's very own GF recipe ones definitely made my day. Thank you! 🥰

Asked for a toast with goat cheese, avocado and arugula. The toast was the one you buy in the supermarket, thin and without taste. They toasted it 20 minutes ago because it was super cold. They were cheap on avocado as well. I would not eat here again.

Let me just start by saying this: This place serves an amazing food and has a great service. The flavors are great. Its fresh, homemade. Everything we want in a breakfast. So for that, I say: Thank you. There are some people on this google review page that criticize it for being "too slow". Let me just explain that this is the least accurate statement. When my family and I went there for breakfast on Monday, this place was packed!! PACKED! people everywhere. There were customers that were just rude and impatient and believed that they were entitled be the first served as soon as they walked in the restaurant. This is not right. This is a business, these are people's living. Some of these customers were just so rude to the waiters who were working as hard as possible, and the kitchen staff as well. This is not okay. None of these customers probably ever owned a restaurant to know how it is to actually take care of one, and dealing with one during a pandemic. So I am just going to end this review with this: Cafe vert: You should be proud of what you have, and be proud of what you are able to accomplish. I highly recommend your breakfast place. The food is great, and so is the service.

A nice menu of assorted crepes, omelets, pancakes, andblitzes, all at good value especially for Surfside / Bal Harbor areas. Brunch time on a Sunday was busy. The dining tables are incredibly small, either 30 inch square, or round. There are many kosher eateries on Collins, and the Grove grocery store, too.

Indoor and outdoor seatings. Table service. Small menue. Bit pricey. Got a brunch, toasted baguette, veggie omelette and potatoes. Closes at 3 pm. My friend for the pancakes 🥞 bon appetit.

The restaurant experience was not the best and not to my liking. I came inside and the tables are widely spread out which looked not like a cafe I would see. Sat down and was greeted with a staff, absolutely amazing kind staff who are happy to have a smile on there face and always welcoming. Ordered the French toast and I have to say, the presentation was spectacular, and even the taste was amazing. That was very impressive. I ordered fresh squeezed watermelon drink, very small and ABSOLUTELY OVERPRICED! $6.50 for a small drink! Maybe because it is fresh squeezed but for 6 dollars! Insane! Also, got some coffee. It was absolutely terrible. The coffee was very bland and it is not good brewed coffee. The atmosphere of the restaurant was ok, the restaurant does seem a bit outdated with the design and the tables has numerous scratches on it. Looking around in the corner, it looks really old and feels like food is rotting in there. The time to get the food and the drinks was very long, I get they have to get everything prepared but the amount of time it took was over the limit. People who work well with stuff like that could bring it out in minutes. Overall, this restaurant is somewhere I probably wouldn’t come back to if I am in Miami area. Food was really good, service was amazing, atmosphere was alright and the coffee and drinks were overpriced and terrible. I wouldn’t recommend it unfortunately.

Food was very good - all plates were returned empty! There was a nice selection of smoothies and drinks, which were very good as well. We ordered shakshuka - perfect amount of heat, enough bread to mop up all the flavors. Greek salad, was very good, as well as a strawberry banana honey smoothie, and a green smoothie There's ample seating both inside and out.

This place is as far as I know the only affordable breakfast place in Surfside. It's a no-frills spot that's great to bring the family. It's basic, clean, the food is decent and overall we had a really fun time! I loved the savory crepe that I ordered, and the omelettes came with a big portion.

Don't let the decor fool you. This place made me a double espresso that hit the sopt and a cream cheese and lox sandwich. That was amazing. As i took the last bite, i remembered i didn't take a picture of my sandwich. i rated it 5 star would order it again hope to try it again

Staff is attentive and friendly however the food as decent as it is needs to be critiqued ,as an example they heat up a simple tuna sandwich when you order the bread toasted you get a hot tuna sandwich as they just throw the entire thing on the sandwich grill and when I complained they denied it , they also load it with mayo as well as if you order eggs and potatoes , you get a plate of oil and potatoes, therefore if healthy proper eating is your thing the Carrot across the way is the way to go as well as tasty cafe in Miami Beach . By the way when I told the owner that I was writing the review he told me they I’m ruining his business. My response is that my dinning experience was not positive therefore I am Honest regarding the situation and save those concerned about what goes into their mouths such experiences

I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. The guy at the counter (I assume the owner?) is the nicest guy, always greeting with a smile. We look forward to coming to Miami just to enjoy Cafe Vert (and the Gluten free option is awesome for us gluten intolerant). The food is delicious, and the service is excellent. I am not someone who usually reviews, but I was very impressed with the service.
