The charming rooms provide a comfortable stay, while the restaurant serves fresh and delicious meals at reasonable prices. Really good service and I had the blacked shrimp which was seasoned perfectly. Baked potato was really good. My husband loved the fries and his pulled pork. Beer list is good and included hard cider. Would definitely go back. What won me over was how attentive our server was on a busy Friday night. Made us feel very welcome.

Great food at a great price. Service was very friendly and efficient. The food was very good and priced well. The old fashioned was one of the best I've tasted anywhere. Literally every item we ordered was delicious, I including the homemade dressings. The atmosphere was great especially.on the tavern side with the Steelers memorabilia.

We had a Great dinner. The lasagna was probably the best I have eaten 👍. Great sauce and My wife's shrimp and pasta was also good. Service was Great, our waiter Blane was excellent, friendly and helpful. It's been awhile since we had our left overs packed up for us ✅. Even the bread pudding was great. Dining area was very nice, lots of wood and nicely decorated.

We did the Frank Lloyd Wright package for our anniversary. We had a very nice time and appreciated their arranging tours for us. Stone House sent me an email asking for feedback on what could be improved. I replied a week ago, but received no response. Poor customer service in that department. This was my feedback: We stayed with you April 29-May 1 in the Stewart room. Pros: The staff was wonderful. Mia was our server for dinner and her attentiveness was exceptional. We had a bat in our room on Saturday morning. There was no staff around, but our server at Braddock's got a hold of one of your chefs (Chrissy or Kaci?). She was also very friendly and said she would take care of it. Cons: There was a noticeable layer of dust on the bedroom furniture. I know you only reopened recently and perhaps that room hadn't been used in a while. There is at least one animal in the space between the ceiling and the roof. Perhaps another bat? It made a lot of noise on Saturday night and made it difficult for me to sleep. I had ribeye steak for dinner. It was seasoned well. I ordered medium, but it was tough, so I only ate half. For the menu price, it was disappointing. We really enjoyed the fried zucchini and would get it again, but the bottom pieces were sitting in a pool of oil. Overall, the package including the tours of Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob was really nice. We had a beautiful weekend.

This is for the restaurant only! We have checked in on a Saturday night at 7:00 pm and were asked to wait for a table. After 10-15 minutes of waiting, we were seated. As we reviewed the menu, we waited for the server to stop by. After the 15 minute mark, there were still no sign of a server. Then we called it a night and left. In the room we were in, there were only 3 tables were full out of 7 or 8. What a waste of time.

The Historic Stone House Restaurant is a hidden gem in Farmington, Pennsylvania. The restaurant is located in a beautifully restored 18th-century stone house and inn and the atmosphere is very warm and inviting. The historic setting of the restaurant is charming and unique. The menu was straightforward and the food was fresh and delicious. The service overall was very attentive and had a full knowledge of the menu. My steak was cooked to perfection. The cocktails were just the right amount of boozy. The peach cobbler cheesecake was rich, fruity and decadent. I would highly recommend dinner here, especially for a celebratory dinner or while traveling. It's a great place to indulge and enjoy some delicious food in a unique setting.

We chose the Stone House as the caterer for our wedding and boy am I glad we did. Christine and her team treated us like family from day one. Not only was the food DELICIOUS, the service was incredible. Christine is a fix it woman and will make sure your special day is everything it should be and more. We enjoyed the food so much that we had our rehearsal dinner at the Stone House as well. I cannot say enough good things about Christine and her team. They deserve way more than 5 stars!

Outstanding, the new chef and beer mister, (who was that guy) he was great too!! Both are an excellent addition to the already great team at Stonehouse! We will be back!

The service was good. The staff were friendly. However, our food was really overpriced for such low quality. It tasted like it was frozen and/or microwaved. The chicken was really dry. The pasta was from a box. The meat balls had a very odd taste. I expected much better quality for the price.

I found this gem several years ago by accident and had eaten here but I really wanted to sleep in one of these charming rooms. I'm SO happy I did! I slept so well and the room was so pretty. We also ate at the restaurant, I had a turkey wrap. Everything on it was super fresh, it was delicious! Also had a glass of Sangria that was fabulous. Prices were very fair, I will be back as often as I can get down that way. 🙂

The Harriet Tubman room was fantastic. Exactly as described, easy, clear and precise instructions provided for self check-in, and a highly recommended place to stay. A great continental breakfast was provided as well which I did not expect. Highly recommended!

Beautiful old inn and restaurant. We stopped for lunch and had the meatball sub and a Philly cheese steak sub. Both were delicious with enough to bring home. Excellent Bloody Mary’s too. The service was excellent.
Tara Hays — Google review
Had a meal in the tavern. Large, cold beer selection and food was served hot. Got seated right away but service was a little too slow due to bartenders also serving while taking care of all bar drink orders. Everyone was friendly and we loved the atmosphere. We'll be back. Also enjoyed reading the history while we waited.

Stopped here for lunch after visiting Ft. Necessity. Very glad we did. Pecan Salmon salad was really good. Salmon was plentiful and cooked perfectly. Raspberry vinaigrette dressing with just right touch of banana peppers on some good spring greens I enjoyed greatly. The bruschetta salad with chicken was also really good. Portions were generous and the wait staff was amazing. It was a little chilly and they started up one of the fireplaces for us in the dining room while we warmed up quickly with coffee. Hope to make it back here again.

Outside of the roads being very bumpy and weird to pull in, my girl and I enjoyed our stay. The only complaint we had were the carpet looked a little dirty, but the bathrooms were amazing and the jacuzzi was awesome. The Jacuzzi wouldn't want to turn off, but after like 20 min, it shuts off by its own. The number to call, ima assume was the housekeeper is always accessible and always willing to help.
Nathan Lui — Google review
This was my second time staying here, and I have nothing bad to say about the place. My meals were excellent, and I feel well priced. Service was exceptional, unfortunately I did not get the name of the housekeeper working during my stay. She was so polite and helpful, asked us several times if we needed anything in our room, and to call if we needed anything. I will be back again, and definitely recommend staying here!!

Didn't stay at the hotel but ate in the restaurant. The food was amazing. I had the Sunday suicidal meatloaf with mashed potatoes and green beans. Simply delicious. Will definitely return.

Aqueous is a delightful dining spot with a prime location offering gorgeous views of the golf course. The staff is accommodating to dietary needs, ensuring a pleasant experience for all guests. The atmosphere is top-notch, and the service is exceptional. While the menu selection may not be extensive, the food quality is excellent. Dishes like scallops and filet are prepared to perfection, making it worth the price.
Scallops and Filet were both done to perfection. Shrimp cocktail was excellent.

Nice location and atmosphere. The food is good, but my meal selection wasn’t excellent and could simply be what I ordered as others in our party enjoyed their meals. It is pricey but as previously stated a very nice atmosphere with very friendly and attentive staff. If you are looking to celebrate a special occasion and are in the Farmington area I would recommend visiting.
Dane Summerville — Google review
We spent dinner here to celebrate our engagement with my partners parents. The staff was very accommodating to our plant-based needs. There was one option in each section that was already vegan except for a cheese or sauce that they could easily remove. We ordered the starter and small plate to share and each got the main plate and we’re definitely full at the end. The wine was delicious and our food was very good. I would give 5 stars if I felt like it was something I completely could not have made at home, but the only thing we felt was very different was the way the tofu was shaped and cooked. For the price, I had to go with a strong 4 stars. We also got to celebrate with a little champagne at the end. Pictures to see how the presentation was! And the setting is truly gorgeous. Thank you for having us!

delicious food, next level/top tier service, beautiful restaurant. Be prepared to shell out some money for this one, but it's worth it

Aqueous was an absolute delightful and delicious breakfast stop on our Nemacolin adventure. With its gorgeous views of the golf course and prime setting outside near the bar and pool, you will not be disappointed. I got the falling rock classic and could not finish it because it was so much food. We even went back a another time before we left. Will be back again. The wait staff were PHENOMENAL!!!

Rockwell's offers an amazing dining experience with perfectly cooked steaks and a delightful breakfast. The staff is known for their exceptional service, with Carol providing hospitable service during breakfast. Chef Earl's preparation of the breakfast dishes is highly praised, especially the special omelette and home fries. The selection of locally sourced steaks is impressive, and while not entirely perfect, they are delicious. The dry-aged beef stands out for its tenderness and juiciness.
What an amazing dinner and an amazing breakfast the following day. Had such a great steak perfectly cooked, great preparation and delivery with all servers at dinner. Carol in the morning for breakfast absolutely amazing service was so hospitable. Chef Earl had such an amazing preparation of breakfast, one of the greatest breakfast I’ve ever had prepared for me. Get the special for the omelette and the home fries. You won’t regret it.

The staff is witty and extremely knowledgeable. The selection of steak is impressive and more impressively fairly local. Cooked not entirely perfect, but was very delicious. The dry age beef is tender and juicy. Highly recommend if you make a trip to Nemacolin. Only place it is behind is Aqueous.

So, to be completely honest about this place you need to know my background. I am a CIA (The Culinary Institute of America) graduate and have owned and operated my own restaurant & catering business for 15 years. This place is below average, It was not good at all. My salad was lackluster, no acid or sweetness to the vinaigrette, was very bland. The bread was not bad homemade sure, but over proofed and just too much yeast. Now for the dinner, scallops under cooked, not a good sear on them. The shrimp had the shells left on when presented to the customer, not a fan. It shouldn’t take work to eat your dinner. Why pass that job to the customers when it could have been done in the back & would have had some of that so good mallard reaction once cooked….. idk. Kinda lame in my opinion. The entree……. I got the chicken because idk i just didn’t feel like steak that night. It was pre-cooked and prob at least 2-3 days old before so. I could tell this because any chef / experienced home cook knows what i mean when I say the meat was grayish & very dry & tasted like the cooler it sat in. I was very disappointed in this place. I was expecting just a good simple meat and potatoes meal & was extremely let down. The best parts were the coffee & cold water.

Wow, just wow❤️. Without question one of the best dinner services & 7 courses I’ve ever had. The sommelier, wait staff & award winning master chef are arguably the best in the East United States. This was an overwhelmingly unforgettable experience & we are already planning our next reservation on our next trip to Nemacolin Woodlands 💍🍾🎯🏆✅

My wife and I were here for our 31st anniversary. Atmosphere of restaurant was 5 star from the start. The explanations of the menu and the options was throrough and staff were very friendly and attentive. We did not know exactly what to expect with the portions of each course, after the experience, don’t be fooled by the smaller portions. Although i did eat it all, i actually felt like I had overeaten. Each course was unique and excellent. Everything was well seasoned and the choices of the ingredients were all things that we were familiar with so it had a more comfortable feel while eating. We were happy to taste salt in the dishes……it seems to be a missing ingredient in many dishes today. Every selection was perfect and we enjoyed each one. The meal was finished with a candy tray…..very cool and unique. Enjoyed the experience. It was worth the $$$.

Braddock's Restaurant and Tavern is a cozy eatery located next to the General Braddock Memorial, offering a comforting menu of breakfast plates and hearty comfort food. The restaurant features a charming rustic decor with a big wooden porch, horse wagons, and an outdoor BBQ area set in lush surroundings with beautiful mountain views. Excellent place to take your family for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We had breakfast there today and the food was fresh and cooked to perfectIon. Our waitress was friendly and very attentive to our table. The place is well decorated with country/ western style with very nice set up. Bathrooms could use some cleaning besides everything was great. We recommend this place to anyone with an empty stomach portions are enormous.

Loaded Mac and Cheese Pulled Pork $12 Smoked Brisket BBQ $16 Beef BBQ sandwich $16 Friendly service. No waiting. Healthy portions. A little pricey, but much better than waiting for the poor restaurant service at the Braddock Inn.

Good food at good prices. The servers were efficient and attentive. The bar looked really popular. The dining space is fairly limited but there was no waiting, though the place was pretty filled. They have lots of outdoor space and a huge BBQ area outside, bit that's for tines of better weather.

We just happened across this place, and I'm really glad we did. We were seated promptly, and coffee came right quick. Our food wasn't far behind. The servers in there really hustle, and our server Peighton D was quite attentive and enthusiastic. We both had Panni sandwiches, one turkey club and one Italian melt, and both were excellent as were the fries that came with them. I don't know what they cooked those fries in, but they were great! Should we ever end up in the area again, we will probably stop in here again.

Next to General Braddock Memorial but it’s not a tourist place. 😊 The big wooden porch, horse wagons, rustic decor, outdoor BBQ area set in the expansive lush landscape with beautiful Mountain View’s make this extra charming. Short stroll from the restaurant to the Memorial. Separate ice cream store on the patio of the restaurant where you can just hang out. Totally authentic, locals like it because the food is yummmm, portions generous, service is super friendly and the atmosphere is lively. I heard the bbq ribs getting all kinds of compliments!!! Lol.

Great food and great place to eat! The only reason for 4 stars is a little pricey! Just with a family of three was around $60... (course I did have a tall Porter which was $10 🍺 😋). We were expecting a French/Indian War motif but was pleased with the wild west horses and western motif! Another nice thing about the Inn is that it is right beside General Braddock's gravesite!👍🏻

We absolutely loved our food and our service! Highly recommend the dirty bird and smoked turkey panini. The beef gravy we dipped our fries in was the best I have ever tasted. And my draft Yuengling was only $3 and served cold-just how I like it! We ordered the homemade cheesecake to go.

Absolutely incredible. From the food to the service to the atmosphere; it was all wonderful. The wings were some of the best we’ve had…We got the Carolina Sauce. Burger isn’t pictured, but was phenomenal as well. Definitely make a stop. You will not be disappointed.

Shared stuffed banana peppers and they were amazing. Husband enjoyed the bacon wrapped meatloaf. I had the rodeo burger. It was a tiny bit overcooked, but delicious. Generous portions.

Found this place by accident and was happy I did. The food is country style comfort food and the portions are nice and the food is tasty. Meatloaf with mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans with bacon was excellent as was the country fried steak and green beans with bacon and corn. Fried cheese logs appetizer was incredible also. Our server made me an awesome sweet tea too. P.S. Thursdays are BBQ biker day and it was packed. Great time!

It’s no wonder this place is always packed when we drive by. Our first time here-it did NOT disappoint. Jumbo wings, French onion soup, the gravy.. left my mouth watering. The serving size was huge! It matched the price. Waited was friendly and the service was fast. Lots of things to look at too. Very neat and clean establishment with the staff personality to match. We’ll definitely come back! Comfy dining space and super comfy chairs! And i absolutely have to mention, the napkins are pure quality. I have rated knives at steakhouses-but there is much to be said for a quality napkin! It lasted through wings and my salad and i didn’t need another-it didn’t disintegrate.

I been to there backyard BBQ many times, I love it cozy and great food. Inside at the grille was my first today, the food came cold but the waitress and manager took care of it better then my expectations. I would definitely go back and recommend it to everyone. Overall everything was great. He style cooking. My favorite is eating the brisket there. It's so good!

We had a party of 9 that came in shortly before they were closing. (They decided to close early due to it being a slow night.) The staff was very gracious and kind. Our meals were delicious and we were in and out within 35 minutes. Our waitress was so kind and told us about the town, as we are visitors and knew nothing about the area. She worked so hard to get our food out promptly so we could eat and go. We will be back. Fantastic food, restaurant, and people.
