Irish restaurant
Irish Times is a wood-paneled Irish pub located in Brookfield, Illinois. This restaurant features an expansive beer garden and serves classic dishes like shepherd's pie. It is known for its traditional Irish fare and cozy atmosphere. Irish Times offers a variety of food options and has gained popularity for their all-you-can-eat fish fry in the western suburbs.
The cutest little Irish pub! We came here after a zoo day and the entire family enjoyed it. We got the cheese curds and Brussels sprouts for an appetizer and they were both delicious. The shot you see in the photos is the China White shot and it's free if you check in on Yelp! The fish tacos were great, but the corned beef tacos were out of this world! Highly recommend this place for an afternoon lunch or family dinner.

Irish times did not disappoint! The service was amazing. The food was absolutely delicious as well. Everything was served hot and fresh and had tons of options that everyone could enjoy from traditional Irish foods to burgers, homemade Mac and Cheese, tacos of all kinds, and the list keeps going. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back!
Vickie Jarosz — Google review
The food was really good. I can't wait to try more of their menu. Everything was super flavorful, even down to the cheese curds and fries. The place was dim enough for a more intimate vibe, but wasn't so dark as to be difficult to see. Very friendly place with good service. Worth the trip.
Aughtumn DeN. — Google review
The best part about this location is the service. The bartender and waitresses are all very friendly, and they come check on you several times throughout your meal. The food itself is very OK. We got the grilled cheese with tomato, and it was fine but room temperature. The fries were also under seasoned and needed quite a bit of salt. They have a large selection of drinks, a be prepared as many of them are not available. We had to ask for three different drinks before they had one of them available from their drink menu. Atmospheres is also pretty good. The lighting is a little dim, however, it is great. Come here on Tuesday night at 8 PM if you want to participate in some trivia as well!

Food, service, and drinks, Irish Times does an amazing job with it all! I have hosted many parties at Irish Times and they always accommodate my guest's needs. During winter I can huddle next to the fireplace and I can enjoy the beautiful back patio during summer. Irish Times is like a second home. 💗
Rosie Gonzalez — Google review
My first time in Chicago and we ate here a few times, the food and service was amazing. Especially Mike and Tom, so friendly and helpful. It is like a home away from home, feels like you are sitting in a pub in Ireland! Definitely worth a visit if in Chicago!
Cliona Smith — Google review
I've been coming here awhile now and I am never disappointed. Great choice of food, not just your Irish Faire. Lots to choose, from burgers to tacos, etc. Dark atmosphere but that's what I love about it. You can play slots, have a drink at the bar or just enjoy dinner with friend's. I always love the places to dine in Brookfield and Irish Times is no exception.

Irish times is a nice place to go for a corned beef sandwich and a beer. They have a great menu. I enjoyed myself And will definitely go back.

Friendly staff, cozy environment, and reasonable prices. Great place to celebrate events like today, St. Patrick’s Day - they have a special menu. I tried the Guinness Beef Stew while others had the fish and chips. Everything was great.
Christina Chrysogelos — Google review
We went for dinner and a few drinks . The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I had the summer salad with blackened shrimp. I ate every bit! Mozarella sticks, potato skins were delicious. The chicken strips were such a big hit with our group. Such a light batter. The atmosphere was really lovely and such a great atmosphere. Michael our server was excellent and so pacient, thank you Michael! Coming back today for lunch!

Great location to gather for any kind of celebration. We attended a shower here The staff was so kind and helpful! I loved the ambiance and the food was great. We had a private room with a fireplace. This is the perfect place to host s.all gathering with an Irish feel.

Absolutely love this place!! It's nice and cozy with a true feel of Ireland. It can never be like Ireland, but it's pretty darn close to it! I've had the Shephards Pie, Guinness Stew, and today I had the Irish Time Burger. It's all lovely! The Guinness is poured and served really well. The service is also great. They have a fireplace up front where you can sit next to if you are extra warm blooded.

Food: some of the best tacos I've had . The food and beer really shine here Service: always amazing service . They make you feel welcome and you never want to leave Price: worth every penny you spend here Atmosphere: you'll never want to leave and continue to want to go

Took Metra’s BNSF Line to the restaurant on a Friday, got the fish fry (which is the same price as fish and chips, you get to refill it as much as you want on Fridays) and a green river (also free refills). Amazing authentic atmosphere and outstanding service.

Love this place, warm inviting atmosphere. I was in with a large group for my mothers birthday and grabbed a table by the fireplace in the back room. Our server Mike was fabulous. Attentive, friendly and recommendations were spot on. Shepard's pie was awesome. Mike made my mothers birthday special, thanks again.

Family restaurant
Tony's Breakfast Cafe is a family-friendly eatery that operates around the clock and prides itself on its extensive breakfast options as well as a variety of comforting dishes from around the world. The attentive and considerate service provided by the staff ensures that customers not only enjoy their meals but also have all their needs taken care of. Be sure to try their highly recommended Baked French Onion soup and flavorful Chicken Noodle soup, which both evoke a homely taste.
Such friendly conscientious service. Our server went above and beyond to make sure we not only enjoyed our meal but that we had all we needed. Baked French Onion soup is a must try & the Chicken Noodle has that home flavor. Breaded Pork Tenderloin was not only generous and accompanied with veggies but it was extremely moist & breading was crispy. Chicken fried steak a must ! Great prices, great food...is there anything better !!!
Marcela Porras — Google review
If you have visited Tony's you know the food is great and the portions are phenomenal. Make sure to try their skirt steak, you can have it for dinner or breakfast with some eggs and hash browns. From Friday to Sunday they are open 24 hours to satisfy that evening crave of great food or even a good meal after a night out hitting the town. Come, you won't regret it.

Very positive experience with the wait staff. I ordered the Italian skillet which was so good and the hash brown came out real crispy. 24/7 diners aren’t as plentiful as they used to be but this one is a gem
Randy Kim — Google review
I’m giving Tony’s 5 stars because I mean I PERSONALLY have never had a bad meal or experience there. It’s everything you could want in a family style restaurant/ diner. The waiters , bus boys & staff are very attentive. The place is always clean INCLUDING THE BATHROOM! It’s our go to breakfast, lunch or dinner spot ! The menu is filled with so many options and specials to choose from . Portions NEVER disappoint .Today I had their beef stroganoff in which I forgot to take a pic of because I was so hungry but it was fire ! 🔥 you get exactly what you pay for here . They don’t skimp or scrimp on anything !!! Thank you Tony’s for being the go to place to take our family to enjoy a good quality meal. Many memories have been made here .

Kitchen is clean as a whistle, equipment is in good working conditions, the staff are old school friendly. Every item in their menu is made with love, I had the greek steak and eggs, the meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned to perfection. 5 stars across the board. Hidden gem

Get the turkey club triple decker! Delish! Cream or chicken soup also very good. Enjoyed eggs Benedict & sausage links too. Hubby loved the Cajun chicken salad. Always friendly service & place is clean.

It’s a belt buster. Excellent, excellent service: friendly, quick, quality plates. Exaggerated breakfast portions for the price. Breakfast and lunch plates are big enough for 2 people. Perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. Parking is tricky but ample. I’d give it 4/4 stars but more like a 5 if I could.
Al Gonzalez — Google review
Would love to share this wonderful place with you.. The service is fantastic, the ambience is bright and clean and we had a very nice brunch, I had a patty melt my girlfriend had a Ruben sandwich. The soup is very good ~ and the platters were good. Sadly my patty melt was pretty dry and not many onions I did have to ask for some. The deserts was very good as well. I do recommend this place they serve so many differnt types of foods. Enjoy all!

Oh my goodness! We love this place, my mom and I went to Chicago to visit my kids. My son brought us the first day we got there and we ate there for 3 days. It is open 24 hrs The plates are huge enough for 2 people Menu has a lot of options! The waitress and busboy are incredible, their attitudes and service! After dinner we had a lot of fun!!!🥰😜

Tony's is a great spot for starting Saturdays off right. I had the Irish Skillet, it was very good. The service was fast and friendly. I will be back for breakfast again.

Ordered the grilled chicken breast sandwich. The taste was good, but then I noticed a skinny piece of metal in my chicken. It looks like a piece of a wire brush used to clean grills. Glad I realized it, but this is very dangerous & gross.

This is one of the last true family restaurants around. Busy, a little noisy, a HUGE menu with breakfast anytime, and enormous portions. I have yet to have anything that was not delicious. But the pork chops are especially good. It's always busy, but service is very good.
Chris — Google review
Good food and generous portions at reasonable prices. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu is very extensive, so there's definitely something for everyone. Their daily specials are very affordable and the all you can eat fish fry on Fridays is just the icing on the cake. If you're very hungry, for a few more dollars you can make your meal a complete dinner and you'll get a soft drink of your choice, soup, salad and dessert. I also would like to point out that their Greek style skirt steak looks good. The restaurant also has a small room with a few slot machines by the bathrooms so you can try your luck. The parking lot is conveniently located in back of the restaurant with additional street parking.

We were on our way to Galloping Ghost Arcade late one night when we drove by this diner at 1AM—and it was packed. As someone who loves 24-hour diners and all-day breakfast, I knew I had to come back. When we returned the next afternoon, we had to wait about 20 minutes for a seat, but man, was it worth it. The food was not only affordable but also came in hearty portions. Everything was well-prepared, and the service was on point. I ended up going back the next day at a different time, and the service was even better. If you're on the hunt for a solid diner, you've got to check out this place.

While the food is tasty, some might find the prices slightly high for what essentially amounts to a basic breakfast.
I just found my new favorite breakfast/lunch restaurant! Came here on a Sunday, as expected it was very busy, however, we were seated quickly. The entire staff from check in to check out were extremely professional and friendly. We were amazed at how quick the food came out and it was absolutely delicious! Everything tasted fresh. My four year old especially loved her Mickey Mouse pancakes. The ambiance is so nice, very fun decor and laid back vibe. Mary is an absolute sweetheart. We are members of Brookfield zoo which is just a few minutes down the road from here so we will back I’m sure!

This might be my new go to in the morning after work. Very pleased in the customer service and the quality of the food. Did a mention they have homemade donuts? I was very happy and satisfied trying this new breakfast spot out. Great patio seating as well. My son loved there creative kids menu. It's a hidden gem off the main street and I drive by all the time I wish I woulda drove a block over sooner. Great experience this morning after getting off duty. Keep up the great food!

Great place and location come back home after many years. Seen great reviews about this place decided to check it out, been back 3 times and brought some family in to try. The homemade donuts so delicious, everyone is so friendly. I know we will go back again before our flight. Give this place a try so worth it. Haven't had a bad item there.Love the decor.

We went for lunch and ordered the roasted turkey dinner. It was amazing we had turkey dressing mashed potatoes & gravy with a bowl of chicken noodle soup. Everything was delicious 😋. Great service and the owner was is soo friendly. The carrot cake and chocolate chip cookies 🍪 are amazing. We will definitely be back very soon. Great breakfast and lunch spot.

Had breakfast here this morning with my husband for the first time and it was absolutely delicious!! Friendly staff and great food! May be our new favorite spot for breakfast! 😋

Amazing. This was my second visit, and I was anxious to review because I loved it so much last time, and this visit was no different. I just got a simple 2x2x2 with French toast and a coffee, and I was fully sated, maybe even overfull! Our server was excellent and attentive while being super busy at the time. Coffee stayed hot and full. Before we left, they sent us home with some complimentary donuts, and they are too good. I forgot to save room to try some of those cinnamon rolls, unfortunately. The dessert display calls my name every time I pass it. My roommate had the chorizo skillet, and the bite I tried was also fantastic. Decor for the most part isn't my style (not that I'm bothered by it) although I do love the eggs on the ceiling. So cool! I'd suggest everyone give this spot a visit. 10/10
Feefers Creepers — Google review
Kitschy little breakfast spot near Brookfield Zoo. We went early morning during the week and there was no wait. We sat in a nice big booth. This beats any of those big chains. Skillet was tasty, and they make fun kid pancakes. Service was attentive
Ivan Sarabia — Google review
I can’t say enough great things about this place! The warm greeting when we arrived to the delicious breakfast and beautiful atmosphere, it was our first visit here but certainly not our last. There was plenty of street parking and we were seated right away. We started with fresh donuts and freshly squeezed orange juice. My daughters did the 2x2x2 deal and the meat lover’s breakfast burrito with hash. They were not stingy with the chorizo and it was delicious. I did the crepes with peaches and they were devine. The restaurant is decorated so well with so many little details everywhere you look from the cute tea pots to the coffee mugs used as lights, I’d go to just see what I missed the first time. They also have a whole outdoor patio area that we didn’t explore yet.

I'm so confident in the meals here I frequently order one of the specials without knowing exactly what it is or how it's prepared. I haven't been disappointed yet. Photos are the Diablo Omelet and the Chorizo Flatbread. Thanks!
Denise Turic — Google review
This was surprisingly a good place to eat. Food was quite decent, had the California skillet I believe. I had scrambled eggs which were cooked nicely, though I should have asked for peppercorn since the amount of meat in the skillet overpowers the rest of the dish. I wish the skillet had more toppings since you'll end up finishing everything else and still have meat left. A common nuisance I have are avocados placed inside hot dishes. By the time I got my dish and dug in, the avocados were cooked a bit from the cooked meat. The pancakes were fluffy and fresh, nothing amazing but definitely not terrible. Overall this was a pleasant experience. Mostly reasonable prices and good service definitely make this a great spot to try out.

Recently found Mary's thanks to my sister & Brother in-law and I love it! Only been there 2x but both times the food has been great!, I had the same server and she was very attentive and friendly, but not "annoyingly" attentive. Haven't had to wait more than 10. 15vminutes for food, but I was also there during slow periods both times. The interior is ...Fun! And colorful!, BTW, the Jalapeno Bacon is awesome!

Do I really need to leave a review here when this place has over 900? The answer is...yes . This place is delicious and a big shout out to Amy for suggesting this gyro skillet. Top 10 all time most delicious skillets I've tasted and I'm leaving this review mid meal
Naperville Roofing — Google review
My Mother and I decided to try this place for breakfast. The parking is convenient, there is an outside seating for nice weather eating, and the decor is wacky and fun. The staff was friendly and attentive. We received two donuts for being first customers. The menu has many choices and lots of options for different eating types. I had the Veggie burrito and my mother had he one egg breakfast with pancakes. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is that I felt the prices are pretty high for a basic breakfast. Overall, it has good food at higher cost with a wacky decor. I can see coming here from time to time for a special occasion but not for just a general breakfast.

The food was really good. It does take about 30 min for the pizza to cook. So I recommend appetizers or order carry out.
Angel Cummings — Google review
we usually get pizza and salads. Our kids really like the pizza but I find it too bready. Sauce is tasty. Salads are very generous and packed with good things. They change the menu often to keep it fresh. They just added some rice bowls that sound intriguing. They have gluten free options. The entrees are pretty good for a pizza parlor. Parmesan chicken in particular was good. Drivers are very friendly.

Amazing restaurant. I had heard about this place before and I was shocked at how good the wings were! They might be some of the best wings I’ve ever had. The pizza was also very good and we had other appetizers as well. Not too expensive & the service was good. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Ordered a jumbo pizza 18 " and when I opened the box at home ,the sauce and toppings stopped 2" from the outside edge so lots of plain crust, was like I ordered a 16 " pizza with plain dough all the way around. Taste was GREAT . I should have taken a picture but we ate it too fast.
Glen Klecka — Google review
Brought in a coupon, couldn't use it. I was wondering if they had any specials... He said on Monday, you can get an 18" pizza for 9.99 for cheese, add two toppings for $20.00. I asked how much for a slice... then I asked if it was thin crust, she said it was thin crust.... no it wasn't. The crust was a lot thicker than the pizzas I saw sitting on the other tables. He said there is no sugar in the sauce. The sauce taste sweet to me. I guess I'm just use to Italian Pizza with the oregano cooked with the pizza. My friend paid for sprite and he said he dumped it because it didn't taste like sprite, it was lousy. After going on the website, when I got home, there ARE specials, which he did not disclose. Wow! That was NOT good business. HE COULD HAVE TOLD US ABOUT THE "PICK 2" FOR 9.99 each.

Always great food. Note to the manager: I like to tip generously on carry-out orders, but not if I can't even get a simple thank you from the kid ringing up my order. Talk about shooting yourself on the foot. Tonight was last straw. No more carry-out tips for you guys.

We went there for my son's birthday. We've ordered home delivery many times and that was always great. The decor at this location is awesome, the music was great and the food was fantastic. Our waiter did a great job! My son loved their fish tank and we all enjoyed appetizers, salads and PIZZA!

Went in today, Sunday at 11:30. We went in for a small gathering of students after a dance competition. The restaurant was empty and they wouldn’t let us sit together for fear the restaurant would get packed. We tried to request a bigger section, but the gentleman on staff was not accommodating. I would suggest picking up your food and not dining in.

Went for a late lunch today. It was my first time at this location but it WON'T be my LAST ☺. Although a smaller footprint than the one in Berwyn I felt it was perfect for the area. I believe my friend and I were taken care of by manager but if it wasn't koddos to the waiter for the extra care and suggestions. Their signature salad and wings with special sauce was delis and the bathroom was clean! What more can you ask for? If your in the Brookfield area make sure to stop , you won't regret it.
Norma Valdes — Google review
The food, chicken vesuvio, nachos were average at best, no real flavor, seasoning at all. Nachos with chicken were just a big pile of chips and alot of cheese. Even though place was hardly full on Sunday, the service was pretty slow, we had to call over waitress for every request.
quad zilla — Google review
A bit disappointing. Ordered a 12 piece of chicken strips hot and they brought out a 5 and a half piece (yes, it was just a small nub) without any sauce or seasoning. The pizza was average and for the price I'd rather just get a cheap one someplace else. The ambiance was great, however. Colorful pizza place atmosphere.

Fine Thai is a cozy eatery that specializes in classic noodle, rice, and curry dishes. Whether you prefer dine-in or delivery, this homely outpost has got you covered. With a reputation built over 8 years, it consistently satisfies its customers. Popular go-to options include the flavorsome beef basil and the mouthwatering pineapple chicken. It's worth noting that the restaurant is on the smaller side, so caution is advised when bringing a large group.
My wife and I have been coming here for 8 years and we're satisfied everytime. They're beef basil and pineapple chicken are our go toos! The restaurant is small, so be careful of bringing a full party but if you are definitely call and talk to the owners. They will make it happen. Service is great. Even if you call and lose connection they call you back to get your order which is very rare. Overall the best and only Thai I'll go too!

Orded take out/pick-up. The Panang Chicken Curry was excellent. Reminded me of a restaurant in Vegas we've been to. Crab rangoon didn't taste fresh and had very little flavor. Special requests were acknowledged. Overall good experience. Will go again, but try a different appetizer.

What an amazing restaurant run by the nicest people ever. The food is made quick and is piping hot. Super good, highly recommend trying this place out.

Pretty disappointed with the food I ordered. The flavors were there, but the noodles in my Pad Thai were very mushy, to the point where I it lost it's luster and I didn't want to eat much of it. Also, the green curry was tasty, but it looked like the coconut milk was curdling, which should never be the case in a good curry.

Some of the best Thai food I have had in awhile. When I am sick, I want some spicy Thai herbs to knock out a virus and this restaurant delivered. Got Covid and all I craved was Thai food. It was soothing, comforting and made me feel better. Staff were so pleasant to work with on the phone and very accommodating. Driver respected my no contact delivery request. The Tom Khar soup was phenomenal - creamy, delicious and all the right spices. Green curry was soothing and smooth. Food was clean and fresh. It was so good I ordered from here 3 times in 1 week while I was sick because that is all I wanted. My sister is now hooked on this place because when she got sick I ordered her what I had and it made her feel better as well. Nothing like fresh comfort food that does not weigh heavy on you to make you feel better. Would recommend giving this restaurant a try.

Very enjoyable food, I will definitely be back here! I got the pineapple chicken and my sister got the peanut sauce noodles. Both were very delicious! Good service as well. We also got the crab rangoons and mango sticky rice, both were good, i just don’t know if I’ll get the crab rangoons again, they were quite small to my liking, but once again, they were still good.

we had tofu pad thai and tofu green curry noodles and they were both amazing. i love thai food and have been to at least 10 diff thai places in different states too, but this is hands down in my top three favorites. the tofu in my pad thai was cooked to perfection, crispy but not too much and the portions were great. we loved the thai tea from here too, their style was more creamy than i’ve had at other places (or how i make it myself) but it was tasty and makes me want to make it like that at home :) great service too everyone was nice and it was great thank you

This place is solid. A nice tucked away little Thai place for you to have a meal before you do anything else around in the area. The lady working there is super nice too. It isn't anything crazy, but is incredibly affordable and it's good thai food.

I came with my family to eat (4 total). The dining area is relatively small, but there were a few tables to choose from. Everyone enjoyed the food. We shared the Garden Pancake (appetizer) and Mango Sticky Rice (dessert). The former being a toasty pancake with a savory sauce and the latter being a dessert with the refreshing sweetness of the served mango (I liked this one). My mother loved all the food she ate. She ordered the Basil Eggplant with some heat. It was served with a small bowl of rice and I think it was the right level of spicy for my mom (she likes to have her nose sweat).
