Food was great our waitress was very attentive. Very nice atmosphere
Robin Rust — Google review
15 minute wait even though the restaurant was half empty. Very understaffed which shows that either it's a bad place to work or they don't pay people enough. Our server was very nice and did a great job
Var McDuffy — Google review
Garbage food, paid for all you can eat and couldnt eat any of it, the riblets have so many bones its inedible and their wings are the lowest quality chicken I've ever seen to the point that I'm assuming they probably have 2 beaks and 6 legs.
J L (Killa__1337) — Google review
My husband and I ordered dinner to go after traveling for 10hrs.This Applebees was in walking distance from our hotel and open late. Our food was ready quickly and was still hot when we got back. All the workers were very nice and seemed to be in the holiday spirit. The food was great, the service was quick, you cant ask for more after a long day.
Beka Wiksten — Google review
The steak was good, cooked medium and still hot. The vegetables were bitter and over steamed, the garlic mashed potatoes didn't taste like anything I have ever eaten. Kinda dead but creamy. This was a carry out. I do not recommend at the current costs of dining out.
John Harris — Google review
Love eating here. The staff always seems friendly. Have been here many times and have talked to multiple staff members. Food is great and even when I dont know what to get the staff always makes good suggestions. My kids like to eat here because of the tablets that keep them busy as well as activity sheets to color on.
Joe Decker — Google review
The bathrooms were gross, the floor was messy and the food subpar. The staff was friendly.
Whitney Goodin — Google review
Only spot open in the area after 10 I believe they close at midnight. You can tell maybe short staffed. Food was just ok. The drinks were just ok.
Nikeeta FoxFive — Google review
Typical prefab bar food but okay not horrible. Server was great though. He had a great attitude and even though they were swamped for Father's Day he kept up.

Service was quick and food was hot! Drink was very good

Out of one of their normal appetizers. Waitress was not very friendly on telling us how the half price appetizer works. Did appreciate manager coming out and explaining correctly.

I love Applebee's and the Shelbyville, IN location is, by far, my favorite! I live 2 hours away in Ohio, but I enjoy this restaurant a few times a year, as it is on my way to Indianapolis where I cheer on my Pacers! The atmosphere is vibrant and fun, the staff is amazing and the food is ALWAYS delicious! I wish this Applebee's was closer to home so I could enjoy it more often. I highly recommend this location whenever you're in the area!!!
Scott Ryan — Google review
Food was hot and fresh, and the server who brought out my food was very very nice. I highly recommend the honey pepper chicken tenders with 4 cheese mac. I asked for extra honey pepper and was pleasantly suprised I got an entire side cup.
Joseph Frazier — Google review
Stopped in Shelbyville, In. For lunch. Jalen treated us awesomely. Everything was fresh and delicious. Didn't wait long for anything . Thank you!
James Overdorff — Google review
I ordered a strawberry daiquiri with a shot of banana liquor. The ticket came out with a strawberry daiquiri for $5.75 plus another 80 cents. Then on top of that was a bill for a peach tree schnapps for $7. We asked and they said the price was right. So they charged us for 2 drinks. That being said was a $14 glass of what taste like a plain old daiquiri or should I say toilet water. This was my 3rd or 4th bad deal here. Will never go back.

Saw that this place was on the list as one of the ten best chicken places in Indiana. We decided to road trip here just to find out. It did not disappoint. The chicken is cooked fresh after you order so dont be in a big hurry. Everything came out piping hot and was delicious. The service here was outstanding. This restaurant is very clean and well kept. It is very easy to find using Google Maps. There is plenty of free parking around the building.
Chris Lee — Google review
Fabulous local place! We were greeted quickly and had drinks within moments of sitting down. The service was great and the food was hot and delicious! Definitely recommend the fried chicken, it's is moist and the skin is crispy and perfectly seasoned. The country fried steak, mashed potatoes, rolls, and chopped sirloin are very good.
Tiffany Pulkowski — Google review
Went for lunch around 1 on Saturday, 2/11. The restaurant was about 3/4 full at that time and soon became, and stayed, full until we left The chicken was very good and moist. Cole slaw was excellent, as were the green beans and cherry cobbler. Price was very reasonable. Looks like they could use more help. The poor young man waiting most of the tables was working his butt off and did a great job checking on everyone about their needs and refilling drinks, but he needs more help than the owner and another girl were giving him. Will definitely return.
Kyle Nash — Google review
I ate the Chicken Inn first in Friendship Indiana in their food truck. It’s the best walleye sandwich I’ve ever had. At the restaurant we ordered the French onion soup which was amazing. We also ordered the walleye and tenderloin. The tenderloin had a really good flavor. The staff was on top of things constantly bringing drinks and cleaning off the table.
Tatted Basser — Google review
Chicken and waffles was really good. First time trying it and was not disappointed. Would eat there again.

This is a small place that has a great atomsphere, fabulous service and food that is outstanding. My husband had the 3 piece chicken meal and raved about it all the way home and he's a fried chicken expert. I had the grilled chicken salad and it was excellent. Our server was very attentive and even though they were busy she kept checking back with us.
Susan Miller — Google review
Absolutely the best chicken ever. And the fried biscuits with the applesauce puts it over the top. Great services and absolutely the best folks that keep its customers coming back for more. We will be back for more of that hospitality and delicious food!!’m
Jerry Coleman — Google review
First timers and it was delicious! The fried rolls and apple butter were very tasty. They remined us of beignets and the apple butter went perfect with them. The chicken was excellent and all our sides were very good. Service was outstanding and decor so cute!
Paula Szekely — Google review
If I could give 4.5, I would. This place is rich in nostalgia-the building is in the style of a Pizza Hut of my 80’s childhood, the decorations pushing the limits of Cracker Barrel-chic/ chicken fetishism. The building wasn’t the only thing that exudes nostalgia- the clear plastic drinking vessels, the iceberg, tomatoes, croutons, and Colby-Jack cheese shredded on top; a salad I grew up with, so much, I was near offended the first time I left rural Indiana and had a foreign salad without cheese! *world shook*. We had the famous fried chicken- how could we not- it came out in the prescribed 15-20 minutes. It’s juicy, pressure cooked, then fried goodness was surrounded by a crisp-not-crunchy skin. My only complaint was that, though good, it was rather unseasoned. Salt and fat for sure, but no herbs or other seasonings. It was an enjoyable meal, with excellent service from the one male server (at least this shift). The place was clean, service prompt, family friendly.
Patrick G — Google review
Passing through town from Cincinnati. Wife and I got the fried chicken. It was super moist and tender. Seasoned just right. Their fruit cobblers were great too. And the waiter was busting his butt to help everyone. He was super friendly! A+
whodey59 — Google review
From first view of this place it’s like a hole in the wall then once in side and seated it’s like family. If you are a local or from out of town this place will feel like home. From the fresh made slaw to the made to order fried chick (20m) this place hits the mark for home cooking comfort food like gram used to make. You know you’re in the right place when u see an owner taking orders and filling up drinks over sitting in a office. And where they come and talk to you as if u was old friends u have not seen in a long time. This is the best and a must visit. well worth the drive whether it be a 10 minute or a 2 hour trip. This is a must go to kind of place. A+++

Good food at reasonable prices. Daily specials. Friendly staff. Good for dine-in or carry-out. Don't worry; they do have more than chicken. Homemade desserts.
Anne Hardwick — Google review
My granddaughters and I stopped in to check out their comfort food menue. They were out of the tenders, so they were sad. But they tried something else. The fried chicken hit the spot with me. We will try this again for sure.

My wife and I came on a Saturday night for our anniversary dinner and had a wonderful time. The service was very professional. The bread brought to the table was the best ever! The shrimp cocktail appetizer was ok, and the lobster bisque was perfect! I had the fried chicken which I enjoyed, and my wife had the grouper which was also good!
Nathan Harris — Google review
Best place in Shelbyville for fine dining, with a casual atmosphere. The lobster bisque is on point every single time!!! It’s my favorite, along with the crab cakes! The service is always stellar, and the manager is always there, and always super friendly. A real gem.
Cindy Daugherty — Google review
The food was not very good. The lobster tails were fatty and the worst I have ever had. The crab cakes tasted bad. The service was not very good. For the price I expected a lot better food and service. Not a place I will visit again.
Lonnie Phillips — Google review
I was in a group of 18 for lunch and we all had great food and service! We found out later that there was only one cook! Hats off to that person!
Darth Stanley — Google review
Took some friends as they had never been before. We were excited to introduce them to the experience. We have gone 4 times prior 2 good experiences and 2 not so good...It's the business and you expect sometimes it happens. We get in right away, get seated, Server was Amazing and got our cocktails, 2 of which they couldn't drink, again no biggie server corrected. We ordered appetizers, the crab cakes were charred, the mushrooms, and shrimp cocktail great! We got our food in a timely manner however my prime was cold ,my sister in law got the Cajun shrimp pasta, the two men got the breaded shrimp dinners. Her dish was soooo spicy hot it wasn't even editable. The pasta was mush. The guys sides were also cold... Keep in mind the server was extremely accommodating (not her fault). As a customer and previous restaurant owner, you know stuff happens and again you try to give benefit of doubt. Needless to say Our guest will not return in the future, and after 5 visits, 3 being poor, We too will not be returning. It is such a neat place, and I hear at one time was consistently very good... The place to go for finer dining. Was truly hoping for a better outcome... Best of luck. Thank you.
Rhonda Herman — Google review
We came here to celebrate my wife and father-in-law's birthday. They were out of quite a few things that we were considering ordering. It was understandable though, since we were there towards the end of the day. Despite that, everything that we ordered was great and our server was very attentive.
Alexandro Garcia — Google review
I think at one time this was a wonderful place but it has seen better days. We waited for quite some time for anyone to realize we were there to begin with. The carpets are stained, it's dark, and is starting to fall into disrepair. The food is expensive too, we just had appetizers, no alcohol and the bill was still $70.00. It could be a charmer, but it needs an overhaul and an owner that cares about it.
Peggy Bailey — Google review
We had a fantastic meal; everything was great. The prime rib is phenomenal, as are the fish and the grilled pork chops. Friendly service, a really fun setting, and amazing desserts made by a talented pastry chef. A real treasure.
Jennifer Turner — Google review
Had a small private event with a fried chicken buffet. Chicken was great and so were the accompaniments. Server did a great job of keeping up with everything and even went above and beyond for someone that didn't really want what was served.
Don Current — Google review
Waiting staff was very friendly and accommodating, about the only great thing about our experience unfortunately. The food here was simply below average. Mac n cheese tasted like it was microwaved. Fried food was disgusting, no one at our table would it. I would just expect a little more for the price we paid.

Super fun place. Bar tender was so fun and interactive. Food was amazing. Try the MFGS burger. It's fun and interesting.

Great burgers & cheese sticks. The fried pickles were way too salty. It was super hot in there. Cool atmosphere. Very hard to find out where you get into the place if you're not a local. Was very busy but they were getting food out pretty quick considering. Waitress was helpful.
Ms. Teala — Google review
Stopped in to see RocKandy, my friend's band perform and get something to eat. I had, easily, the worst boneless wings I've ever had. Lazily chopped chicken pieces hardly dusted in flour, no seasoning, and so light on the sauce that even the table next to me thought they had messed up. Never returning.
Aaron Majchen — Google review
Was there with a large group and the wait staff did a good job of handling us all! Food was good, and my meal was prepared perfectly. The fish was flaky and not over breaded. Coleslaw was top notch as well. (Fries are Fries, should have upgraded to waffle Fries or onion rings) All in all highly recommend visiting this area of town!
Nikki Lesley — Google review
Had a great lunch at Pudder’s today. I’ve been to this restaurant several times and never been disappointed. The food portions are always generous and delicious. Today in fact I ordered 15 boneless wings and ended up receiving 22 (guess they were feeling generous). If you are in the mood for wings or boneless wings, try the homemade sweet and spicy bbq sauce. Do know that this place can get extremely busy and I have heard of 45-60 minute waits to get in before. Your best chance of getting in and out quick is to visit in off hours of the day instead of right at lunch or dinner.
Zachary T — Google review
Very busy, nice atmosphere. Food and service was ok. The onion rings were the best! I don't suggest the Mac and cheese.
Rachel Bell — Google review
Our party flew in late Wednesday night and asked our host where a good place to eat was and he casually mentioned Pudders. They did not disappoint our whole group from Utah. Service was friendly and the food was AWESOME!! We had the tater kegs, loaded chips, Buffalo grilled cheese, Orem Burger, Blue burger and the fried cheesecake. Went back two more times it was seriously that good! On our last visit most of us ordered the MFGS and we were not disappointed! Thanks Bryan and crew for making our visit extra special!
Mindy Ludlow — Google review
Went to try the tenderloin, and it was good. I would get it again, but there are better ones out there for sure. It was fairly thick and well breaded. I think it was slightly overcooked as it was very juicy, and the outside was darker than it should have been. I subbed up for $2 more to get the onion rings, which were very good.
Mark Stargel — Google review
DELICIOUS!!! we stopped here on our way to Edinburgh and had some of the best food. Don’t skip the Tater Kegs or fried pickles- so good. Bacon Jam burger and buffalo chicken grilled cheese were mouth watering. We will definitely make our way back here!

Pudder's has a casual, family friendly vibe. We experienced great customer service and the food was wonderful! The fried cauliflower was outstanding!
Holly Garrett — Google review
Wow! We stopped after picking up a purchase in green castle. The food was such a high quality. We had bacon jam pizza, wings and loaded tots. And blue moon draft. Yum yum and more yum. Hope to be back.
Edie Crone — Google review
The hamburger was cooked to perfection and the onion rings were amazing!! the nachos and pork were good, and had plenty of toppings no problem. My only complaint was that they gave me a sour beer mug that smelled so bad.. but overall a great place to eat, good family atmosphere ,and good adult entertainment.
Justin Cotten — Google review
I guess the folks in Shelbyville don't know what good food tastes like. I've been here a few times and haven't had a single meal I was happy about spending my money on. I gave 2 stars only because the bar sections entertainment is fun. I definitely wouldn't choose this place for a meal. But, if you're used to frozen meals and ready packaged Walmart garbage this is your place.
Jon Latkowski — Google review
We ended up at Pudder's for the eclipse. Good choice! Food was great - Bleu Burger and a Philly Wrap. And wonderful onion rings. No pix - cameras were busy elsewhere. Staff was very accommodating. Definitely stopping in again next time we're in Shelbyville.

Went to puffers after a competition in the area and was met with great service and a lovely environment. Genie made an amazing margarita and was full of great conversation! Even got the chance to meet the owner and learn more about the business! Would definitely recommend to anyone in town!

Very friendly and fast drive thru! Gyro salad was a great size. Two big chunks of feta chz, onion, tomatoes. Pita included was very fresh and warm! Taziki sauce was thick and very delicious. Missing some Greek olives and no dressing on salad. There was a container of Italian dressing included, but it was not tasty.

This was my first time coming here since the new management, and I have to say I'm VERY happy with it! The chicken over rice was a great recommendation from the staff (I got the spicy, and yeah, it's spicy!). The staff was very friendly, the food was ready quickly, and it is so so tasty. Can't wait to try some of the other stuff on the menu!

This is THE BEST place to get food in Shelbyville at a great value. Food is consistently fantastic and the prices are amazing. Friendly service as well. The gyro with feta is something you have to try!

Very delicious but they forgot to give me a fork for my ribs so I had to wait until we got home. Not sure if the BBQ sauce was too thin or not enough! The fries the are super good. Our 4 yo daughter said , "mama this is berry yummy!"(referring to her grilled cheese and fries. My husband loves their burgers!
EL L — Google review
I ordered a Gyro Plate. 12.99 on the menu. I pull up at the drive through to pay and he does not give me a total. I ask for a receipt and he hands it to me. I was charged 13.99. Worse- I was charged a $0.40 tip for no reason without my consent. The fries were very soft and undercooked but the gyro was very good.

The owners are the KINDEST and most HONEST people!! I was there about an hour ago to get my take out order. Came home and was eating my, as usual, delicious dinner. They drove to my house to return my wallet that I had dropped as I was leaving. What an extraordinary kind thing to do! You saved me from probably a very terrible disaster! I cant say THANK YOU enough for your kindness and honesty and for going out of your way to return it! It is nice to know we still have upstanding and beautiful people who run a nice clean establishment .. with delicious food in our town! THANK YOU! Diane
Diane Koester — Google review
Really disappointed in the quality of food, used to be really good until the last year or two. The only good thing about the meal was the fries. The burger had a (strangely enough) metallic taste, and the mayonnaise was absolutely disgusting. And the sandwich was overall very cheap. Hope the food quality improves in the future 🙏
Moss — Google review
I ordered a Greek salad & a gyros salad both were fresh & very good. The customer service was wonderful. I will definitely return the next time I visit the casino.
Tanya Grays — Google review
Decent dining experience and friendly staff. The food was ok but the building and property was in really bad shape, this really made us wary. The gyro was good as well as the baklava, fries were average.
Kristopher Bargen — Google review
New ownership was an amazing change! Food was great and huge servings likely the best gyro ever! The atmosphere was welcoming and super friendly staff! Will be back for sure!
Jennifer Taylor — Google review
The sign out front says best catfish in town. They are much too modest. I haven't had fish this good for quite a while. Staff is very polite and brought out order to our table. Catfish dinner was excellent and wife had fish sandwich which was best fish sandwich in a long time. Thank you for being the best!
Steve H — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was so kind, gracious, and generous! We came on a Sunday later in the afternoon, during a slower time. We had our one year old daughter with us, and they were so kind and friendly to us, which is sometimes hard to find when eating out with a toddler. Since we were the only ones there at the time (basically after lunch, but before dinner), the owners/ staff came at talked with us, played with our daughter, had us sample one of their new menu items. We just went in for a late lunch but left feeling like we had made new friends! We will definitely be coming back and we live in Franklin!!!

A friend from Germany and I went to Shelbyville to watch the eclipse on April 8th. We wanted to get lunch prior to heading to the park. The sign that said best catfish in the Midwest caught our attention and we decided to try it. The catfish was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a great start to our day. Thank you so much.

I will say I'm glad the new owners took over. I use to drive to greenwood for the New York Style Chicken over Rice all the time. Now it's down the road and I love it. But last few times I've gotten lately, my chicken has been burnt, I ask for Xtra white sauce and don't get, and it's like the amount at times is smaller. I still will get it, but please keep an eye and don't rush. But I will say the owners are amazing and very kind!
