Food is okay. But they dropped their kids meals and are now $1 off dinner, along with the other items going up (which I understand). But unfortunately they have went to over the price of going to Chili’s/Roma’s etc for 2 meals and a kids meal so this will most likely be our last visit. Also, don’t order chicken strips then. For $10/each in these photos, you can get 5 steak fingers or 2 chicken strips.

We had a good time here, the food is pretty good. Expect a high quality diner experience with a bit of a wait time. The Food came out hot and perfect. The homemade meatloaf was something that tastes like someone pulled it right out of your childhood, nostalgic. The service was a little slower than expected but wasn't unreasonable, there were two servers for the whole restaurant, ours knew some folks in front of us so I felt as though we were a little ignored. Overall I would recommend it if you wanna have a nice little blast from the past and need some good food.

We got the Crispy chicken sandwich. Delicious. We also had a dog and they were all so excited about her! She stayed outside without any issues and we really felt welcome. Fantastic service. Highly recommend!

In Durant for a doctor's appointment and my mother-in-law suggested this diner for lunch. We both had bugers and fries. It was nice to enjoy a drive in place. The sweet tea was perfect, the burger was tasty (they grill the buns which sets everything). This will be our lunch spot every time we're in area.

Good ambience, nice place that preserves that 50s dinner enviorenment, very clean and excelent service and the hamburguer was very good as well as the chocolate shake. 100% recommend.

So glad we went off our path to try this restaurant out! This sweet and attentive lady named Nature was our carhop and she definitely provided service with love and a smile. She made the whole experience even more joyful. Our burgers were amazing and even the soft serve cones were exceptional. We will definitely be back next time we are any where near here. Definitely recommend. We also lovedthe old school drive in atmosphere and the prices were good, especially considering the food and service u get! Please stop here and enjoy :)

Good chicken fried steak. Connie said the burger was good as well. The service was very friendly and outgoing, just like it was when I was a kid. It was very clean. Would definitely try it out.

I was in town for a few hours and decided to try it out for lunch.The food was amazing! I ordered a cheeseburger and , fries for lunch. I haven’t had a cheeseburger and fries that taste so good in a long time. The next I’m in town I will have to stop by and have some more delicious food

My husband and I just ate dinner there and we left full and satisfied. The waitstaff was very nice and that always a plus when you go somewhere to eat. I ordered a hamburger 🍔 and he ordered a Double Cheeseburger 🍔. He gave his a 4 1/2 and I gave mine a strong 4. He said his burger was hot, not greasy and well proportioned with meat to vegetables. I ate most of the Onion 🧅 Rings and I would give them a 4 1/2 to 5. I really liked the taste and crunchiness of them. My husband primarily ate their Tator Tots and he gave them a five. He also got a Peach 🍑 Cobbler w/ Ice Cream 🍨 for dessert. He said it would give it a 3 because it was served with soft serve ice cream 🍦 and thought it tasted average. Overall, we would give our dining experience a 4 1/2 and will more than likely eat there again.

If you're looking for good diner-esque food at a drive-in, this is your stop! Great menu, awesome chili, good chicken strips and fantastic onion rings. All of it was too much food for 2 people and still well under 20 bucks.

First I will start with the food was excellent and between ordering online to picking up excellent. My problem is with the gentleman cashing out the order! He gave himself a $1.20 tip on top of the original price! I immediately saw the difference after he swiped my card because he stated $34.29 total which I was already aware of before arriving and handed me the receipt to sign showing $35.69! Granted I don’t have a problem tipping but I ordered online and drove to pick it up! I will be reluctant to return because of this activity!!!

Walked in and got seated really quick and got my food immediately.i got orange chicken with white rice and an egg roll,it was good, but the chicken felt like bitting into a bone and the rice tasted like undercooked. Overall, the food was pretty good. I would go again

As stated by other reviewers, the chicken is way more bread than chicken. Very hard to cut or bite into. The ragoons are not good, either. Not very friendly staff. It is a very clean place and the food was fresh and hot.

BEST Mongolian beef I have ever had including places in Chinatown SF. The staff was so kind and the food was out fast, everything was super fresh. Robby was our waiter he was amazing!!!!! Helped me pick out garlic sauce for my chicken he is awesome and deserves a raise.

First time trying! Great price for a wonderful lunch of Cashew Chicken with an eggroll. Fresh - hot - and ready when I showed up. I opted for takeout but the restaurant was clean and the staff was friendly - will definately be back!

Food was ok. The young guy did not understand how to correctly take orders. We were charged for drinks that we kept asking if were included with meal and he kept smiling saying yes. Ended up paying for 4 drinks when I only had 2 meals.

The Food was good.....Quantity was worth the money paid...Value for money...Ordered chkn fried rice...good taste..good quantity...4 spring rolls....Good taste and good quantity.....chkn lo me...good taste and good quantity...but really big noodles the oversized one's not the regular hakka noodles.....Best of all was the Chikn hot n sour soup...Highly recommended...delicious...nice quantity of ordered large...Very good....recommended..Also to add up the restaurant has good set up taking 100% precaution to keep it clean and hygienic. Delicious food always hot and cooked with care, usually call in and the gentlemen is always very nice and quick with placing your order never had a bad experience with them would definitely recommend eating here.

Got a summer salad with blueberries, pecans, spring greens and smoked chicken which was wonderful! I appreciated having a different and lighter option. Hubs had traditional BBQ which he really enjoyed - he got mashed potatoes as a side which were OK but he raved about the brisket, chicken and beans. My son got a fried chicken sandwich, it was also outstanding. Well fried and seasoned with crispy bacon. He got fried okra as a side and they were tasty, fresh and hot. Definitely will go back next time we visit the kiddo - wish it was in our home town.

Road tripping and stopped here for lunch. Wow! Do yourself a favor and eat here. I had the rib plate (smallest is 6 ribs), green beans, and apple cider cole slaw. I have plenty leftover for another meal. Everything was delicious, and I am no stranger to good bbq. The mild sauce was really good, not super sweet. Waitress was a sweetie too. Will return again if in the area.

Impressive modern choices with delicious smoked meats! We had the Ultimate Pork Nachos for an appetizer and it could have been a meal by itself. The waffle fries were freshly homemade and topped with pinto beans, queso cheese, generous serving of pulled pork, and sour cream. Then I had the This Little Piggy Sausage platter with pineapple, jalapeno cheddar, hot link, and classic sausages! All the sausages were delicious but the highlight was the pineapple which had so much flavor! My wife had the Brisket Mac and Cheese. She enjoyed that greatly! My mom had the Barbeque plate with sliced beef. The variety and flavor combos of this plate including squash, zucchini, cauliflower, and pinto beans were incredible! Looking forward to coming back to Durant to try more wonderful food!

The food is out standing! Huge fluffy baked potato, the sweet tea is the perfect sweetness without being syrup, wait staff is attentive and polite, and the brisket was killer! Clean, neat, good food and good atmosphere!

I had the Beast Wich (sliced brisket, ham, sausage, fried green beans on toast). It was so good. The BBQ sauces were good. I mixed the sweet & mild to get the taste I wanted. Fried green beans were spicy. I want to go back now.

Very good bbq from this place. The chopped beef was flavorful and moist and the hot link was excellent. The okra while a frozen product was prepared well, the slaw was unique and delicious. I liked the bbq sauce, a bit sweet, a bit smoky, and good spices. Next time I’m traveling through town I’ll definitely try this place again.

The food was good. Nothing extraordinary, but surpassed my expectations. The ribs were tender and everything had a good flavor. The pulled pork wasn't mushy (overcooked) like most places. The pineapple sausage is well worth a try. Our server was polite and attentive to our table. The atmosphere was nothing special, but the welcoming vibe from the staff gave the place an at home feel.

I had the absolute best experience ever! The food here is so good. I’ve eaten at the best statehouses Dallas has to offer and in my opinion 1832 blows them out of the water. Our waitress Randi was on point and even remembered my family’s names. The manager Jeff is so awesome as well. Always makes me feel like a king. I’ve eaten here many times and they never have disappointed. I highly recommend you give them a try.

Daniel K. was amazing server! He remembered us from 2 weeks ago. His service and customer relation ability was on par. He knows the menu and can find something you may like and have references to something new. The 7 onion soup was amazing. So filling, rich, sweet, and cheese was so much. I could eat the dish alone for a meal and I did. I can not wait for my next time. Make note though...you do pay for what you get. Be prepared to spend...but, it is well worth it.

Well... I would save your money. The appetizers were very good but the entrees were hit and miss. We had the crab cakes and shrimp, which were great appetizers. Fantastic flavor for the crab cakes and large shrimp that had consistent texture. I also had the lobster bisque but I have had better at places like Pappadeaux. For entrees we had steak, salmon and sea bass. The fish was good but the medium cooked $72 steak was dry. I didn't even finish it. You are better off putting that money in the slots or on the tables. While the atmosphere was upscale, I would not expect the same from the full quality of the meal.

Table for four before the concert. We had a great time. Delicious drinks. Fun breads. Steak and chicken entrees were wonderful. Potato sides were sumptuous. Layered chocolate cake and bananas foster for desert. Well done 1832, well done!

I had a fantastic first time experience for dinner here for our anniversary! We ordered the seafood tower and it was fresh and flavorful! Bailey was attentive and explained the menu and options in depth. She also did a table side presentation for the banana foster dessert which is to die for! The manager, Brian, went out of his way to make sure we didn’t need anything and were enjoying ourselves. He is a true professional. I will definitely be back!

Absolutely love this place. The new location is very very nice. Great place for special occasion's, celebrations or just to have a fine dining experience. We had the 8oz steaks, whipped potato's, wedge salad, charcuterie board. Outstanding!

The 1832 steakhouse inside Choctaw Casino offers a delightful dining experience. The fillet was cooked to perfection, accompanied by a loaded baked potato and creamy mac & cheese. The flavors were rich and satisfying. The staff was attentive and the atmosphere was elegant. Overall, a highly recommended choice for steak lovers.

My wife and I had an early dinner at 1832 and it didn't disappoint. Very nice looking restaurant with comfortable seating and nice table setting. Steaks were perfectly cooked to our liking and we enjoyed this dinner very much. Wine selection was awesome! I don't review places I don't like if that says anything. I did ask them to step up their game on the bread they served with this fine meal. Greatest part was I made a mistake with the tip and doubled my bill! The nice manger contacted me to clear up the confusion. We'll be back👍

The staff was very friendly, hospitable, and attentive. The food was comparable to my favorite steakhouses in Tulsa and Grapevine, Texas, but was a little less expensive. The food was exceptional, and the vanilla bean creme brulee was amazing. Definitely worth the trip for a fine dining experience. The only problem I encountered was that the restaurant was out of oysters. I had the lobster bisque, crab cakes, 8 oz filet with wild mushrooms, and the vanilla bean creme brulee.

The place was so nice. Our bartender Shawn and his bar back Trey were amazing!!! Shawn knows his wine and I was impressed by his knowledge!! Trey was so helpful on Johnny on the spot!! Keep up the good work young men!! You do 1832 well.

A fantastic dining experience. Grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting. Bar tenders are true mixologists and putting out fantastic drinks. Live music in the bar was awesome and could be heard at dinner. Dinner service was good and I highly recommend the lobster bisque, crab cakes and mozzarella salad. Steak on point as well.

My wife and I came here for our 2nd anniversary. I must say the restaurant is very nice ,our hostess was super nice and sweet. Now our waiter Aaron was amazing 👏 🙌 made our experience even better . Our food was great. I highly recommend the brussle sprouts. The bake potatoes were good and of good size. The Porter house steak was just the right medium, rare, a little under season for my liking, but good. My wife really enjoyed her lemon drop, and I really enjoyed the El Smash margarita. Overall, great staff nice atmosphere. Definitely ask for Aaron to be your waiter. Would definitely go back and do recommend to everyone

We absolutely love salitas. It's our go to every time we want Mexican food. Their portions are big enough to where you normally have leftovers, everything is always nice and fresh, and the service is always amazing. Even their alcoholic drinks are Mexican themed and absolutely amazing.

Ate here a long time ago and I remember them being pretty good. I was little apprehensive because of the low score, but we decided to try it again. That was a mistake. The food was just not very good. The chille con carne was the worst I have ever had. The server made multiple mistakes and the owner was very unpleasant. No wonder the place was so slow. At least I won't have to ever eat here again.

Would give less than 1 star if that was an option. I personally ordered the Margarita enchiladas which should have chicken in it well mine had only cheese, ordered child's taco meal with fries and salad no tomatoes got taco meal with beans and rice, when we did get what was ordered the salad was full of tomatoes which we picked out then the ranch was literally like white water. Ordered the old fashioned taco plate with fajita meat, got 2 crispy tacos with beef in them. Drinks completely emptied b4 we asked for refills and had to get our own napkins. No offer of reduction on the bill. Did offer to make the margarita enchilada to go if i wanted which by then i didn't want it They were not busy at all. We will not be returning anytime soon.

I don’t understand why this restaurant was so dead on a Thursday night. The we’re under staffed but you couldn’t tell by how amazing the staff was. Our food was so good and it was all out in amazing time. The only suggestion I have is that the front window is really hard to see into and we couldn’t tell if they were open or not. Other than that 5 stars and the sweet tea was amazing!

Exceedingly slow service despite there being two waitresses and only two other tables. Service wasn't very friendly. Never heard please or thank you or saw a smile. $2.50 per soft drink including each refill and the child's drink. He is 5. Waved flies away from our food the whole meal. The food was average. I don't think I will return.

I ordered a margarita and was served a drink that tasted like water. I sent it back and was given a drink that was even worse. It looked and tasted like toliet water. I ordered a chili relilo and was given a green pepper with hard cheese inside. I would not recommend this place to anyone, not even my enemy.

The service was decent. It was the waitress’ second day and she was very sweet. The food was not great. In fact it was kinda horrible and still just as pricey as ever. Had a chimi deluxe with chili sauce that tasted like it came from a can and was cooked in last week’s grease. Loved the salsa and queso. It wasn’t as busy as it used to be and I totally get why. New owners? I haven’t been there in awhile. Don’t lreally plan to go back. Nice people though.

The food definitely ain’t it. Won’t be ordering no food from them again . Dont even taste authentic. Not bussin bussin … 👎 tacos dry as heck , rice tasted old .. got queso and BEEF and they give queso and chili with hardly any queso. I mean for $8.00 for that queso you’d think they’d got it right .

This place is awesome! It's under new management and the food and drinks are better than ever! The servers are super friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. There's a bar area on the other side of the building called Saluters. Off the restaurant side is a large wooden patio with plenty of seating and plenty of shade. It's great for the whole family or any occasion.

My family and I got out the house my wife has got cancer and is in a lot of pain and hasn't been out in months and finally said babe let's go eat so we diceded to try here bc it has been a long time mind yoy tge pain she went through just to get in her chair to my truck and in to the store. . We order fajitas and fire man special the meat tasted rotten I gaged and didn't eat another bite and then refused to give a discount all through I didn't eat any more then a bite if i where the manager I wouldn't have charged and dam sure wouldn't feel right charging 76$ for three plate that didn't get ate period!! DO NOT EAT HERE!!

No lie, service was a bit slow. But our waiter Zack was super nice and made sure we got the food we ordered. The steak was the best I have ever had anywhere. Extra tender and so flavorful! Salsa was too spicy for me but my spouse loved it.

I’ve eaten here before. It’s alright, Tex mex stuff 6.5/10. However, recently the owner has started price gouging previously listed items. Just as fajita tacos being $11.49, and when attempting to pay for pick up tells us that the total is $26 like I can’t do basic math. Then proceeded to haggle the price of food down to $20 until the food was left and I refused to pay for it. Also charged one co worker for chips and salsa($6) while another got theirs for free. 0/10 will not do business with them again.
