Japanese restaurant
Sushi restaurant
Sushi Brothers is a Japanese restaurant known for its tasty sushi. The chefs were quick to respond to the kids' request for edamame, and the eatery is conveniently located near an Electrify America charging station as well as a Tesla Supercharger. As a conveyer belt sushi spot, they serve up instant food, allowing families on road trips through Oregon to enjoy a speedy lunch while their car charges.
Happy with this place. I stopped eating here because the taste and quality of its sushi standards went down. However, they seemed to have rebounded. The second time, I tried them and have been satisfied with the freshness and quality. The sushi rice is wonderful and I definitely recommend stopping and eating here.
Lisa Parks — Google review
Exceptional service! The sushi at Sushi Brothers is incredibly fresh, and the sauces are bursting with flavor. Our server was not only friendly but also took excellent care of us throughout our meal. We absolutely love Sushi Brothers and highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious sushi.
P ploy — Google review
Great tasting and very affordable Sushi. There aren't too many places you can go and get great quality Sushi and not break the dinner budget. Portion sizes were even larger than Momiji. I will definitely be returning!
Chibo Bird — Google review
Really good food! Needs some cleaning. All of the sushi covers were dirty on the just placed food, and they have like 1,000 covers so I imagine they let them get dusty too. The wasabi had a crust too. The fully visible kitchen looks like it had a deep clean (cleaning the outside of sauce bottles too) like maybe a few months ago. I just feel like maybe they could clean a little better. But like I said food is still good. I don’t eat fish at all, they had some nice non-fish rolls as well! The usual stuff, and a very tasty sweet potato roll. That roll is gonna make me check back to see if they seem cleaner in a few months with how good it was.
Morgan S — Google review
It's very affordable for a full meal, and there are tons of options. Most of the small plates come by on a conveyor belt, so you don't have to wait at all to eat those. Overall love the place and I'd recommend it to anyone who enjoys sushi, seafood or generally Japanese cuisine.
ukiyo — Google review
Went for happy hour because over 25 reviews recommended it. Found out after we finished eating that they don’t do happy hour anymore. The plates are very expensive for a track sushi place, and we would not have eaten here if we knew earlier that they did not do happy hour. I should have asked and verified they still did happy hour, so I guess that’s on me. I recommend going to another spot if you can, solely because of price.
Nathan Williams — Google review
The staff was super friendly, the service was good, the food was very authentic, and the sushi tasted great. I had the rainbow roll and the chicken udon, and would definitely get both again. 10/10 would recommend! They have something for everyone!
Kenna Rosenbalm — Google review
The sushi was flavorful. The people preparing the food overheard that our kids wanted edamame and immediately for some ready for us. This place is a short walk from the Electrify America charging station. Since it is a conveyer belt sushi restaurant, the food is instantly ready so my family and I can have a quick lunch while our car is charging when making road trips through Oregon. It is also close to a Tesla Supercharger.

Whatever accidentle dessert I was served with my to-go order tonight was AMAZING. I searched the menu and could not find it but you should definitely offer it. The rest of the meal was great too!
laceylion12 — Google review
Fantastic customer service, the food and prices are top notch.
William Sellers (MooseWillis) — Google review
This was an all around disappointment. I ordered our food and specifics of “real crab” and “tamari sauce” as well as ordered two servings of chicken, one was suppose to be spicy which is wasn’t. Horribly bland. No real crab in any of the rolls. Honestly some of the worst sushi I had.
K'la Brasseur — Google review
I really love the sushi here, they also have great alternative options like yakisoba and bento bowls. The prices are very good and the speedy service is even better. I love how everything is fresh and I expect no less. Definitely recommend if you want to eat something delicious and with lots of flavor. The to go option is also a great alternative in case you are in a rush. They have your lunch ready to go right away.
Arlene Mejia — Google review
We were pretty excited to find a hole in wall sushi places as those tend to be the most authentic. My daughter was even more excited that it was a conveyor belt type sushi place. However the fish did not taste fresh at all and was rather lukewarm. I also got the tempura udon and it was bland and watery, not the depth of flavors I was used to. My husband ordered the seafood udon and his looked exactly the same as mine - I think all they did was added tempura to mine on the side and pieces of seafood to his in his udon, but the broth was the exact same. The only thing that was superb was their fresh oranges which were sweet. Overall the food wasn’t inedible, it was middle to lower middle.
Hang Nguyen-Le — Google review
Rice was old, lacked flavor. Sushi was mediocre, nothing special. Tho the spicy tuna had the right amount of heat. I'll give them that. Baby octopus looked good. But it lacks flavor. Smoked salmon smelled off they put cream cheese to lessen the Smokey flavor, all in all don't get the smoke salmon roll was a disaster. Mouth full of cream cheese 🤢 so smokey couldn't taste the salmon. The problem is these sushi places think Americans will eat anything. That's not the case here...
Jj Jj — Google review
Aparently COVID is alive and well for these folks. The conveyor is sparsly stocked. I tried one piece of salmon. I tasted like it had been dead some time. Lots of signs and packaged goods on the coveyor. You will be treated to Portland's Z-100 and their seemingly endless parade of commercials. Neither the server nor her manager could understand me. You might consider the desert gas station bathroom with apparent black mold less than appetising too. If you are over 30 you might consider this one a hard pass. If you're under 30 well, go tinkle before you get here. Ick.
Michael Ondusko — Google review
We love this place and have gone here for years. The sushi train was excellent. Prices have gone up a little- Average plate is around $3.25 not bad because it’s a generous portion. Can’t wait to go back. Yum!

Ice cream shop
Paleteria Y Neveria El Paisanito is an excellent establishment that provides a delightful experience for customers. Despite occasional difficulties in communication, the staff exhibits remarkable patience, kindness, and understanding. They even assist when mistakes are made while ordering. The customer service and level of patience displayed make it a place worth revisiting. Moreover, this ice cream shop offers top-notch ice cream with a rating of 10/10.
Went in 8 minutes till close and the girl that helped us had the best customer service. She was very enthusiastic and had us try dang near all the flavors. Absolutely loved our experience and the ice cream was great!
Ella Giberson — Google review
Great shave ice! The ice cream is delicious also... The only downside is the long line but it does go fairly quick...
Bill D — Google review
This place really is great. The ice cream is 10/10, the prices might be a bit high but it's local hand made ice cream not Baskin Robbins. The one thing to work on would be some of the staff. They are not always welcoming or friendly.
Agustin Palmas — Google review
If you're in Woodburn and looking for a cool treat. This is the place. Many flavors and reasonable prices.
Lisa Parks — Google review
Great variety of Mexican flavors. Mamey, mazapan and gansito flavors to name a few.
Sam Fernandez — Google review
It’s very clean and nice in there, it gets busy very fast I would say go mid afternoon before 3
Kianna Santos — Google review
Best ice cream place ever! They have a wide selection of flavors, and the prices are very inexpensive. They make all their ice cream in their shop! If you have not had ice cream here you are missing out!
Jasmine Olalde — Google review
The experience is great and although I struggled to speak they were very patient and kind and understanding,And helped when I made a mistake of ordering the wrong thing, would definitely come back again for a good customer service and patients.

I ordered a strawberry and cream milkshake shake and it had a very strong burnt flavor, my sibling ordered a cookies and cream milkshake and it tasted perfectly fine. HOW DO YOU BURN ICECREAM

This place is always busy and has ice cream available in many different flavors. And also in different sizes, I definitely recommend trying this place out whether you have a small sweet tooth or a large one

Something can be said about "hole in the walls". I'm still giving them a 5 for atmosphere because the place is CLEAN! I'm a native Texan, been in the PNW for just over 30 years. When I tasted the rice, tears welled up in my eyes...I hadn't tasted that authenticity in years! Everything was authentic from the sauces to the fish in the fish tacos...yep, not frozen Gorton's. We a la carted several things, enchiladas, tamles, birria tacos and EVERYTHING was delicious! Unfortunately for me, I live 2.5 hours away, but I understand why President Obama went there, the best authentic Mexican food, eva'!!! The pic doesn't do justice, 1 snap and back to grub! I'll be back!

First time here. The food was very good. I had an asada taco and a carnitas taco. Both were so so good. The tortillas were homemade and fresh. Can’t wait to go back and try more items. Almost forgot, I had a churro.. they were ok.
Vanessa Acosta — Google review
Delicious food! 🔥The salsa dip is on point and the churros were tasty and had the perfect crunch. The tacos were excellently made with homemade tortillas, I devoured them before I even got a chance to take a picture (chicken fajita taco was my favorite). Recommend 💯%!
Esther Valle (Abi) — Google review
The food was good. There salsa and chips are yummy. I like that for tripas, you can order soft up to extra crunchy. Their chile relleno burrito is delicious.
SJ Elliott — Google review
Worst burrito I've ever eaten, and that includes fast food. I'm a big fan of traditional Mexican food. This was not a good example, in my experience. Almost entirely lettuce. The "carne asada", beans and rice that were there tasted old and overcooked. The little container of sauce they included didn't taste worth adding to it. Maybe I caught them on a bad day? My son warned me, but I like more heat than he does, so I thought it might be worth a try. I was mistaken. Won't be back.
TripsJoe Howell — Google review
I eat here every time I am in the Woodburn area. Every dish I have ever had here has been excellent. I have always felt well versed in Mexican cuisine, but here, there are so many items I have never heard of. I love the sauce options they bring to the table: red, green, and red crema. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant is very clean. It can be a little noisy during the busy meal hours. It was initially overwhelming when I had to order at the counter due to the large menu. I will forever thank my friend Juan for introducing me to this place.
Tammy Schur — Google review
I was traveling to Oregon and found this place. I must say almost as home made. The menudo was on point. The carne asada is the best I've had aside from mom's cooking. The staff is supper friendly. Very home like atmosphere. Highly recommended.
Jose Gutierrez — Google review
The very best tacos I've tasted! The tortilla is fresh, and the chicken is the best. Love the avocado sauce and salsa. A must if you're in Woodburn. Or if you're close enough to get to it, like me.
K J — Google review
We had the sope (pictured), birria tacos, and chips/salsa. All absolutely delicious!!
Shelley Nelson — Google review
We found this little place randomly and decided to try it out. Food was great and seasoned very well. They were willing to do a small adjustment and gave us more meat/beans and rice. And it fed us each that night and had lunch the next day. The language barrier wasn't bad as the server understood English but spoke Spanish but we were able to get everything we needed no issues.
Marie McNeal — Google review
Luis's restaurant consistently serves great food out of a humble restaurant decorated with hanging pinatas. Although they are routinely busy and have a line of people, the staff is well organized and line waits are usually very very quick. It's usually a good time to choose from the vast menu choices. Over the last several years, we (family) have not had a bad meal, the food has always been authentic, at the right temperature, and served with pride. The food is fantastic. Out of all the great food choices, I typically come back to the tacos. The tacos are made with freshly made tortillas as you order your tacos. The choices are just about anything you will want. Although the staples of carne asada, al pastor, pollo, lengua, and fish are really good, the stand-out taco is the chorizo taco. Hands down the best taco you will enjoy. You will crave it in the middle of the night. The tacos are served with onions and cilantro. And when you think that it can't get better... add a sauce. The sauces will level up your experience. From a mild avocado base sauce to a tomatillo sauce, to traditional red sauce, they will bring your taste buds to an apex of absolute delight. The chili relleno burrito is amazing, and a great choice for vegetarian eaters. The best part is that they serve an authentic version of the dish. Plus they serve it with a special sauce on the side to dip into which will make your toes curl from joy. Try it out, you won't be disappointed. This is a gem in Woodburn, and a great destination for anyone who wants to eat great food. Cheers.

I humbly admit I am an amateur to authentic Mexican cuisine, but these tacos were some of the best I’ve had. I got the carne asada tacos, the tortilla was so soft and the asada well seasoned and juicy. The chips and salsa were great; salty and chunky salsa. Highly recommend!
Ariana Lucidonio — Google review
Really amazing Mexican food! Best chimichanga that I’ve ever had! The sauce was a creamy pepper sauce that was vaguely like paprikas. Flatas we’re full of chunks of chicken, they didn’t skimp at all!
Veronica Antal — Google review
Been coming here since 2009. Always amazing!
Farmer Having Fun — Google review
The service is always great. Love the salsa options, the green one is always a must. Tortillas are always freshly made and that’s why it’s so expensive. It’s an over all great place for any occasion. My tripas were a little over cooked for my taste but the rest of my food was cooked well.

Breakfast restaurant
Elmer's Restaurant is a diner-style establishment that serves generous portions of breakfast dishes and comforting food in a warm and inviting atmosphere. With an extensive menu and efficient service, this restaurant caters to families with its child-friendly options and attentive staff who cater to their needs. The combination of old-world charm and modern conveniences enhances the dining experience. Furthermore, Elmer's occasionally offers special promotions such as free meals for children on occasions like Grandparent's Day.
Really cool place with great food, really good atmosphere and nice staff. I'd come again!
Zuzana G — Google review
As far as Elmer's Restaurants go, this one is a little lacking. Went in on a Saturday morning, and they were not very busy at all. The food took a while to get out. We all ordered our eggs over medium, and one was undercooked (clear whites), one was overcooked (solid yolks). One plate came out without butter and we had to flag someone down to ask for it. Hashbrowns were only crisp on one side. Then we got the check before being even halfway done with the food, making us feel rushed (they still weren't busy). The parking lot is a little oddly shaped and shared with several other establishments. It was packed in the morning but once the other restaurants open, it would likely fill up. They could use a bit more signage or an "open" sign to indicate which of the doors is the actual entrance. The bathrooms were tidy, as was the dining room.
Pamela Forrest — Google review
I had crepes with lingon berries and poached eggs and bacon. My mother had the minestrone soup and salad. The food was fabulous, once we got it. The price is seem to be about $15 a plate no matter what you ordered. Their kitchen couldn't keep up with the amount of people that were eating. But when we got the food it was good. The waitress was really good about checking in with us and apologizing. She served my mother her food because it was something that she could put together herself. But I had to wait for the meal I had. I ended up having her box it up because we had to leave soon. We waited about 45 minutes. The atmosphere is fine. It's a diner kind of vibe. The tables were clean. The bathroom was clean. It's handicap accessible.
Debra Millegan — Google review
The food was beer filling. The staff was very attentive and kind. The French toast although way too much, was very delicious. It was soft and fluffy and sweet with the syrup added. The restaurant was clean and appropriately sanitized. I would recommend, we had a great experience here. Very inexpensive as well for such delicious and well prepared food.

We stopped here for breakfast after visiting Tulip festival, food and service were amazing. Highly recommend, especially crepes with fresh strawberries.

Decent breakfast food and lovely service. The veggie egg white bowl was a little bland but their fries and ranch were absolutely top-tier. Their hot chocolate was also delicious and they offered us free refills on the house. Definitely would go back just for the fries and hot chocolate.
Rishu Harpavat — Google review
Seems like a great breakfast place when you had too much fun the night before. The hash browns were a bit greasy for my taste, but all the food was good. The kids meals were fantastic, and they cater to going above and beyond other kids meals out there.
N Matts0n — Google review
Amazing food place with such warm staff. It was our first dining-in experience here. The food choices are elaborate and service pretty quick. The place is extremely child friendly with a good kid's menu and a staff who know exactly how to take care of an entire family's needs. The place has an old world charm combined with the new world needs. WE landed up on a grandparent's day celebration day without even knowing about it. The staff was courteous enough to let the kiddo eat for free. Spacious place!
George Koshy — Google review
Very sweet and attentive servers. Food was great. Coffee was hot. Establishment was very clean. Would I eat here again as a pit stop on a long travel? Yes. It was a small but humble dining room. Pictured: Bacon Ham Sausage Bowl, Steak and Eggs, and.... More steak and eggs.
Lynx Cheam — Google review
Biggest issue of my experience was the slow service. When I entered there were 4 servers up front and no one even looked up to welcome me for multiple minutes. Took a long time to be sat, then, it was a while before I got to order, and the same to get my meal. Also, table went without refills until we got our food and asked our server for more coffee and water. However, the food was excellent in my opinion. I got the strawberry crepes with a side of eggs and bacon. Bacon was not the best, but other parts were yummy. My friend had the biscuit country breakfast, and he said it was comparable to Denny’s. Great portions overall, we all left full. The service was really the big issue.
Chloe Jackson — Google review
Traveling and decided to try here, was almost completely empty, ordered lavender lemonade, were thirsty, took forever so after like 10 minutes I finally asked where it was. Food came and was very disappointing/lukewarm. We had a new waitress so that was part of the problem BUT what appeared to be manager and other staff were there and COULD OF STEPPED IN TO HELP!! At one point the "manager" said to the waitress, "You have to step up, get quicker before we get busy" Right in front of customers is not where you degrade new staff 🙄 VERY DISAPPOINTED IN OUR EXPERIENCE!!

Elmer's is one of the places I love to eat at. I had breakfast with my bestie and her friend. I had never had this kind of food before. It was actually good. Very yummy. I give it 5 stars 👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Not an ideal place for a party of 8 or more. Inexperienced service. Hostess/employees do not know how to properly plan and seat guests. You will be kept waiting for over an hour while smaller parties continue to be seated. Reservations are not an option.

Mexican restaurant
Trapala Restaurant LLC is a consistently excellent option for Mexican cuisine in Woodburn, known especially for their flavorful carne asada, combination platters, and refreshing Cadillac margaritas. This establishment provides an authentic Mexican dining experience that is hard to find elsewhere. Despite typically choosing to dine in Portland, this restaurant proved to be a pleasant surprise while visiting the shopping mall. The food was delectable and reasonably priced, while the staff remained courteous and attentive despite the busy Sunday afternoon rush.
Homemade corn tortillas and excellent enchiladas suiza! Very friendly staff. Our food didn't come out within minutes as it does in a lot of places. Instead they use that time to actually make your order. Yes, make. New favorite spot!

Always eat here when I come to Woodburn, in my opinion the food is really good. It is fresh and delicious, they have variety in options, also have fresh aguas like Horchata and Jamaica! Kid friendly, friendly service as well! May be difficult finding parking but recommend the dishes from here!

My guy and I love this place. We used to enjoy the outdoor patio on nice days but they have since done some remodeling and the patio is now an extension of the inside of the restaurant. They did an amazing job. It's really nice and a great environment to hang out on a Sunday afternoon watch their new huge big screen TV all the tables look handcrafted wood the walls are all brick. All the windows are firefighters style and they slide open to allow it to be a outdoor indoor space I can’t wait to come on the warmer days to enjoy it with the windows open. The owner of this location is awesome and very friendly. He makes us feel very welcome by coming over to say hello to us every time we come to dine. and his staff is super nice as well. You never sent more than just a couple of minutes before someone comes over to check on you or take your order. This place is a well oiled machine. We highly recommend this place if you’re in Woodburn, I assure you will not regret it.

This was our third time here since we bought a home here in Woodburn and my husband and I have had amazing and delicious food each time. One of the visits was with our daughter who was visiting us. Wonderful and authentic tasting food. Thank you! The margaritas are good too!

The Owner and other staff are all so Friendly. They make sure to come back to check with the quality of the food. And the Portions are Sooo Large!!! That I'm going to have another one or two meals out of my Chicken Fajita Burrito. Their Prices are Average. This will be my New Favorite Mexican Restaurant in town. Thank You for a Wonderful Meal!
Jessica Marie White — Google review
This is one of the most authentic Mexican restaurants you’ll find. I usually stay in Portland and eat there but we decided to eat while visiting the shopping mall and found this place. The food was delicious and prices weren’t outrageous. The employees were polite and attentive even though they were very busy on a Sunday afternoon. I had the pumpkin flower quesadilla because I’ve never seen any other place sell these and my grandma used to make them from her garden. My daughter loved her chicken enchilada and wifey was happy with her huge chicken sopes.
Luis Medina — Google review
It was my first time eating there, I was very surprised about the amount of food for cost ratio. It was definitely worth it. It had the feel of a family owned restaurant along with the taste of home cooking from grandma. When in Woodburn again I will eat there for sure.

The people who work there are so nice and i honestly don't want to leave a bad review. However, the food is not good. I really really disliked it. My husband also disliked the food. I was surprised how many people were there. Reviews are just opinions and this one is mine. The service was great and the food was really bad.
