My friend, who lives in PR says it’s the best establishment in PR. He loves the atmosphere and most importantly the beer. (He’s not an alcoholic, just loves a good pint or few). The reward for visiting him in PR is that he’ll take me here. Can’t wait! Not sure if I’m buying though…

Had a flight. Beers are all well done. The inside is nice. The staff are welcoming. There's basically no food here but you can order in. The patio is uninspiring but there's a nice beer garden around back. Family friendly.
Jerry Joseph — Google review
Great selection of beer at a great price. Favourite was the Century Grove chocolate orange porter. Staff is wonderful. Also there is a cat that roams around beautifully!
Terence Tay — Google review
We use to love coming here until a year or so ago when there was a big staffing change. Despite our best efforts to be friendly and follow all rules (beer garden) there are consistently two female servers who border on rude, apathetic at best. The beer and atmosphere are great, if anything it has improved over the years. Sadly service is sliding the other way.
Jim Vanderman — Google review
This is a spot I take anyone visiting Powell River (and also frequent on a regular basis as a local). The tasting room staff are great and knowledgeable, even during a rush. Good selection of beer. I recently attended 'Beer Yoga' with Leyna and REALLY enjoyed the experience. It was the perfect blend of yoga (good enough of a workout to feel it the next day haha) and having fun while sipping a beer, being outside in the beer garden with the wind gently blowing was an excellent experience :)
Helen Theilmann — Google review
We have been sporadically stopping in for beer over the last 10 years. The beer has always been great and its a pretty unique building. We were a little disappointed with the daycare vibe going on with the beer garden out back.
Jason Dorey — Google review
We came from France and had a stop here during our journey. The service was great. Advice for teenage alcoolhol law very well adapted (19). Beautiful cat on the counter like 0 stress. We recommend. The photo is our take away to remenber. Cans are great for turists !!! Equivalent of amber is their suncoast pale ale

Nice tasting room, the beer was delicious. I has the "surprise me" tasting and was not disappointed!

This local brewery is a must for those who enjoy craft beer. Located just outside the gates of Powell River’s pulp mill this brewery welcomes all ages. ( must be 19 years old to drink alcohol) A great stop for those visiting PR.

We played some board games and had kombucha and beer. What isn't 5 stars about that?
Rose Schmidt — Google review
Delicious beer, great flavoured soda water, kombucha and ginger beer available! A very large variety of beer on tap and in bottles or 4 packs in cans. Historical building with lots of informative things to read and learn on the walls.
Sarah Grace — Google review
I visited this place before Covid, and I had a great experience here. The beer selection is fantastic, very affordable and the atmosphere is nice. It is very spacious, too which I particularly liked. I will definitely visit it again when the pandemic is over.

Nice tasting room and tasty beers. We came in a half an hour before they needed to close for a private event so was a little rushed. Got 2 flights so tried 4 of their flagships and 4 of their seasonals.

Beautiful lake area. The only issue is on sunny days the boat launch and camping dock get pretty crowded. Located a bit far on dirt roads
Jerome Tovillo — Google review
Really nice place to go for a walk in nature. There were a lot of completely harmless garter snakes and some very cool toads that greated us. Highly recommend if you want a relaxing walk around a beautiful lake.
Dog Lover — Google review
Don’t worry about the broken bridge - it’s perfectly passable on foot. The campground is lovely and host _extremely_ friendly. There is a great swimming jetty with a ladder on the end for those warm lake swims. Though most are reserved there are a handful of first come first served spots. Also, the ravens are super loud, so bring earplugs if you are sensitive to that kind of thing.
Jason WD — Google review
There is a beautiful multiuser path around this lake, we cycled it! The lake is fabulous. There is also camping there but sadly we couldn't get in, it's so busy. It's a bumpy gravel road to get there, you don't need a 4x4 you just need to drive carefully around the potholes and washboard!
Melody Monro — Google review
Stunning area with amazing hiking trails. The trails we completed were dog friendly as well (as long as they’re leashed). Parking was easy too, but this was in winter time (can imagine this place being fairly crowded in summer).
Christy — Google review
Nice, maintained, 13km multi-use path around this astutely-named Inland Lake - great for trail jogging (which I was doing), though beware of cyclists, some of whom don't slow down (there probably should be a separate path for cyclists/wider path / dismounting rules on blind corners). There is a path off the north-west corner of the lake which I investigated - the main trail of which seemed to end in cottages (whose tenants stared at me with furrowed brows like it was a trail only for their use...), though there were many sidetrails which I did not check out. There is a fair bit of parking near the boat launch at the south-east corner of the lake. There are various mini-beaches where I observed people swimming. There are outhouses by the boat launch and a few other spots around the lake. Excellent recreational path overall.
Darryl Bannon — Google review
An amazing hike through this place, lots of wildlife, be bear aware and watch out where you step because there are sooooo many tiny toads and frogs. The bridge is broken, so please be very careful you dare to cross.

Always enjoyed Inland lake or as I have known it as Loon lake since as long as I can remember. Whether I was camping or fishing or bike riding around the lake or riding my ATV up Mt Mahoney above Inland, it has always been Fantastic place for adventures as well as being so close to town. A-1 provincial camp ground. My most recent trip up to Chilly Lake after snowfall at end of February with my adventurous daughter Sierra!!
Walter Crosfield — Google review
An absolute beautiful place to kayak! Felt as good doing it as if I'd been to the spa! Took a picnic lunch to the other side & so enjoyed chatting with those walking by. Nature at it's finest.
Kim Bourne — Google review
Finished 2 days of 13.2 km biking trail around the lake (one circile each day). Two hybrid bikes, 1 mountain, 1 mountain with a 3rd wheel for my 6 year old. About 1.5 hours leisurely pace each circle. Trail is mostly crushed fine gravel mixed with dirt and organic matter. Some muddy spots from water seeping out from the forest next to the trail, not many. 1 loose 1 meter wide gravel filled dip (the biggest challenge to hybrid bikes). Some connecting boardwalks are built right over water. Lots of small swimming areas along the trail. Buzzing flies too, didn't get bitten, but they do tend to elicit a panic response from us city folks. Very very shady all the way around. We went on a 85 F day, 4pm. Sweated a lot, but was able to cool down. Great swimming. Diving off the boat ramp. Saw 2 snakes skimming across water, 2 beavers floating like dead logs but with purpose... numerous tadpoles at various stages of development, toads, frogs...

Latin American restaurant
Costa del Sol Latin Cuisine is a charming restaurant located in Powell River, BC. It offers gourmet cuisine from northern India with exceptional service and attention to detail. The restaurant occupies a historic building that used to be a police station, adding to its unique ambiance. Costa del Sol serves up delicious tacos made with locally sourced ingredients, and the bright, traditional Mexican decor adds to the dining experience. The restaurant has successfully transformed its space into a tranquil haven amidst the lively Marine Avenue area.
I was very impressed with their dome like heated see through tents and outdoor fire pits! The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were super nice. The whole experience felt like I was away on vacation...in BC weather. Sincerely, Your newest fan!

Finally had the pleasure of dining here. I had the taco del mar and hubby had the Maverick. Both were equally delicious and for dessert we shared the key lime pie. I was so full but had to try some and I'm sure glad that I did. Breanna was our server and was super. Such a cozy experience dining in their new outdoor domes. We'll be back!

Tastiest tacos ever with a great atmosphere, friendly service and an awesome patio. Highly recommended if you’re in Powell River!
Judy McCluskey — Google review
Delicious fish tacos with super fresh ingredients and tasty Palomarita with a spicy sweet and salty rim. Friendly attentive staff with great west facing patios overlooking the harbour. Chill atmosphere with Latin music.
Kevin Hsiung — Google review
Super sweet staff, very accommodating! The outside setup was very cute, music was perfect volume. The food! Oh man, the food was phenomenal. I had the Creole Caribe Jambalaya Bowl, I would've loved for it to be spicier but the flavors were still so well blended. Boyfriend had The Maverick, and it was just as excellent. Savory for sure, we'll definitely be back! 😊
Lacy LogicalKiller — Google review
Exceptional experience: visited Powell river for three days and went here twice! Cosy setting with Latin music playing in the background, with comfortable seating with a fire table to add to the ambience. Ordered numerous dishes over the two meals and the top hits were the Verde Muerte, a mezcal based cocktail a must have. Citrusy drink with the smokiness from the mezcal and the chili lemon salt to give that next level kick. The poblano Fritos is an amazing take on the onion rings but with the poblano pepper. The jambalaya, may not be true to its origins but the flavors were amazing. The wet burrito - it’s huge and it’s topped with an queso sauce that complimented the dish very well. And last but not least, the key lime pie, loved the combination of the key lime with the crumble and fresh cream. Ferin, our waiting staff was amazing and provided some great recommendations! The house also surprised us by treating us with the pie for my sister’s bday! A must visit.
Manny Sahu — Google review
Amazing ambienace, service and location. We had a hankering for Latin food and was super excited to try this. I’d recommend although I felt like the seasoning was lacking in a bit of flavour. My favourite was the ahi tuna tostada, perfect for a hot summer day. We layered the red hot sauce on it (not the spiciest!). The veggie burrito was good, and same with the chicken enchiladas. We were starving so I forgot to take pictures before we tucked in. The 2 mains and one appy were a LOT of food, we shared the burrito and took the enchiladas home. Good drinks, I got the sangria (lacking flavour, tasted watery) and my husband got the hibiscus sour (better!)
Deanna C — Google review
The atmosphere and the service is 5/5. Absolutely wonderful place! Unfortunately, idk if it was just an off day but the food was 2/5. It was quite bland and the meat was kind of dry. I do want to give this place another chance though because there's so many wonderful reviews (and the atmosphere is so nice)! For drinks, the Sangria was okay, the Oaxacan Sunset was delicious!

Great Mexican food in town , but the food is late we order 5dishes and it all come at the same time. The server was nice. I love the hot sauce here!!

Costa Del Sol is the first place I go every time I visit Powell River. I lived in Powell River 9 years ago and it has exceeded expectations every single time since I lived there and any time I've visited after. From the service with a smile, the best Margheritas I've had, incredible food, and the view through the greenery, Costa Del Sol is a must-visit.
Cain Manton — Google review
Great Mexican place in PR. Fresh style tacos with a constantly changing menu to keep it fresh. The patio front and side are what makes this place stand out. The drinks are the best part of this place, weekly features so you always get something new.
L Erickson — Google review
The food is ok. You’re not going to go and be disappointed. It it great? No. Is it bad? No. I had the duelling enchiladas. The flavour was really nice, a little small for the price, but then they put this bowl of flavourless rice on the side of it. It just didn’t make any sense. Was I just supposed to eat the rice like that? There wasn’t enough sauce or space in my enchilada dish to mix it. Felt like a lame filler. My wife got the Veggie burrito. Also had some nice flavours in it, the yams were cooked nice, but half of the burrito was filled with that flavourless rice again. It definitely needed some salsa and guacamole. We did order a side of guacamole which really helped the dish, but that was an $3? Maybe 4? Can’t remember…of an already just ok $19.50 burrito. The burrito was also served with a handful chips, but what good are they if you have nothing to dip them in? I also ordered the horchada which was nice for the first few sips, but then it just got sweeter and sweeter to the point where it was just too much. I guess it just wants mixed well. My wife and I really enjoyed the cucumber lavender drink though. Super refreshing. Would I go back here? Maybe. It’s a pleasant setting. But I wouldn’t go out of my way.

I don't know where to begin. This restaurant is mirage in a sleepy beautiful town! We went with low expectations, tired after a long drive. Oh boy! were we in for a surprise!! Flavors exploded from every spoonful! The drinks were the most delicious. I had the green death - wowza! The food was so great that we went there twice. The ambience, the food, the service - Top notch! Beware - You will earn the wrath of the food gods if this is not on your pitstop to Savary island !!

Had a great time at Willingdon Beach. It has full amenities plus more! They provide showers, laundry and a large sink to clean dishes located at one main bathroom. Would definitely go back but next time would prefer closer to the beach. There's also a burger, chicken finger & fries stand, decent sized park for the kids, water park, ice cream and mini golf across the street as well. Definitely great spot for camping or day use for the whole family. Would highly recommend checking out.

I must say this campground doesn't have to try too hard to be good when the location makes for amazing views. The newer of the washrooms in the campgrounds are very nice and clean. Well kept and spacious. The older washrooms though leave much to be desired but expectations aren't too high with cleanliness when camping. The sites were huge and some have RV and full electric and water hook ups. The site was so busy over the long weekend but didn't feel that crowded as the sites were far enough apart. They have construction going on at the moment and heavy machinery goes up and down the camp grounds from 7am till 5pm.

Great location. I don't know about the other shower building but the one I used didn't have any hot water, a cold shower , sad I can understand cost savings but really. 3 showers and 1 toilet ,no urinals so if you're in urgent need. We'll I guess pick a tree. Lol. The other building has 2 toilets and one is out ofservice. So sad...83 site's and only 3 toilets and 2 urinals.....lol pick a tree 🌳 so much potential. Very difficult to get a toilet in the morning ,Very Very busy. Be self contained I guess. Enjoy 😉

The location was gorgeous and provided easy access to everything nearby. having the park nearby and a food stand was a plus. That said, the Internet service was terrible, even though we had to pay for it and the location of the drainage and water was too far back in inconvenient. When we arrived we found out that our neighbors had used ours because theirs was so inconvenient.

Great park and beach to spend with the family. There's a small water park for the kids and to keep cool in the hot summer months. Sandy beaches, volleyball nets, ocean swimming, playground, beautiful trails, camping and amenities close by, just to name a few desirable things about this location. Beautiful sunsets here

Such a lovely little park and beach! There is a volleyball court, 2 playgrounds, a waterpark, a dock to jump into the water from and so many trees for those who need a break from the sun! There is also a sweet little cafe/fish and chip place! All these things make this park a wonderful must see. You don't quite get to see as much of the water as you may like but all the amenities make up for it!

We had a wonderful stay at Willingdon. It was very clean, quiet, and the camp hosts were very good at communicating I liked the privacy of the campground. Showers/laundry/front gate all only accessible with a key and it felt very secure. They also went through extra mile and gave us a little bundle of kindling and paper with our fire wood. First dry fire wood we'd had at a campground since we got to the west coast. 🤣 We would definitely come here again.

Low review for 2 reasons: a basic breakfast wrap at $14.25 is ridiculous and I watched the person at the front counter cut another customer's muffin in half without washing her hands after touching the register, debit machine, coffee machine, and someone else's cash. That's basic food service 101.
A Grant — Google review
I visited this place on Easter Monday when most other places were closed. I am celiac so it's hard to be safe in a bakery. The lady made me the most delicious sandwich with multiple layers of Lettuce as the bread. I felt very cared for and appreciated her efforts! Thank you so much!!!!

Stopped by today for an ice cream cone on a very hot afternoon while waiting for the ferry and found a note on the door that they had to close early due to short staffing. We were just about to leave when the owner kindly invited us in and served us a couple of ice cream cones, amidst trying to getting everything clean and finished after closing for the day. It was an incredibly generous gesture and one that we appreciated so much, so thank you kindly to you for your customer service. We will definitely be back when you are open to try some of your delicious baked goods - the menu looked fantastic!!

Great spot for coffee & food while waiting for a ferry. The Rocky Mountain bakery is just up the hill from the large ferry terminal (line-up) parking. They are DOG friendly allowing animals into the bakery, so you don't need to leave your pet in the car. Rocky Mountain staff are NOT checking vaccine status for clients eating inside the bakery or outside on the patio area, so it is much quicker to get a coffee or drink and having something heated-up to eat before returning to the waiting ferry line-up.

We hiked up the hill from the ferry in Powell River, to find a variety of restaurants to chose our lunch from. We are really glad we found one of them to be this little bakery/restaurant. There were so many choices for meals!! We chose huge slices of pizza, which in reality ended up being too much to eat in one sitting. It would our favorite place, I am sure, if we lived there!!
Shannon Hay — Google review
At $10 plus a tip prompt, I feel financially disappointed with this sandwich. It tastes exactly how it would looks - like a big homemade sandwich. What drove me to write this review was that there wasn’t any sort of redeeming pizazz to justify the cost - hard to not think they are just simply capitalizing on their location by the ferry. Front till lady with the short brunette hair was excellent though!

Definitely a great place to grab a quick breakfast in Powell River. I tried both the bacon and sausage breakfast wraps - still not sure which I liked better. Bacon breakfast wrap came with BBQ sauce instead of salsa as a condiment.

Little Hut Curry is an exceptional Indian restaurant in Powell River, British Columbia that offers exquisite cuisine from Northern India. With impeccable attention to detail and excellent customer service, this establishment has gained a reputation as one of the city's finest dining options. Owned by Janmeet and Mohinder, who hail from Kashmir, Little Hut Curry is housed in a charming location on Marine Avenue.
I have travelled across India and love the cuisine. The best and most distingushing Indian Food I have come across. This place is truly unique and stands out from any other restaurant I have been too. The owner is impeccably nice and personable. The menu is creative and still traditional a perfect blend. Never have I had such a creative and intentional Indian food experience, not to mention delicatable.
Peer Ristine — Google review
This is our favourite Indian restaurant out of anything on the Coast and in Vancouver. The food is always amazing, and Mohinder is incredibly welcoming and all-around awesome. They go out of their way to make fantastic curry and happy customers, and do not disappoint. I will always dine here whenever I'm in town.

• Food: The food at Little Hut Curry is a delightful departure from your standard Indian dishes. It tastes remarkably fresh and bursts with flavor. This unique take on Indian cuisine feels more wholesome and refreshing, making it a must-try. • Service: The service at Little Hut Curry is top-notch. The owner’s warmth and friendliness create a welcoming atmosphere. They go the extra mile, offering insightful suggestions and asking all the right questions to ensure a pleasant dining experience. It’s worth noting that the personal call to notify us when our food was nearly ready for pick-up is a fantastic touch. • Atmosphere: While the food and service are outstanding, the atmosphere receives 4 stars only because, at the moment, the restaurant exclusively offers takeout. It would be even better if there were dine-in options. Overall, Little Hut Curry deserves a strong rating of 4.75/5. The incredibly friendly owner adds to the charm of this place. The food is a unique and delicious experience that I highly recommend trying out.

Last night I attended a wedding catered by Little Hut Curry, and let me tell you, the dinner was out of this world! Flavours beyond imagination. Meat so tender as one could only dream of... The side dishes, the sauces, the Papadoms, made an already beautiful night totally perfect. Not a morsel was left on a plate, and many of us went back for seconds, and even thirds. If you are looking for a food offering that is sure to take your event, evening or family night out to a next level -honestly- you need look no further. If you ever get the opportunity to visit Little Hut Curry, you will surely be dreaming about their menu forever afterwards!

Landed in Powell River late, craving some comfort food before a big paddle trip the next day. Asked a few locals for the best curry in town and man these guys did not disappoint. Not only were the portions sizes and the flavours 100% on point, the takeout and ordering process is super clear, efficient and easily customizable which I loved and very much appreciated. My partner got the meat and veggie Thali meals, it was more than enough food for both of us.. actually enough for a midnight snack :) we also found the man who took our order to be really pleasant and personable. You can taste the love and passion in their food. Would definitely come back and would for sure recommend.

My husband and I were visiting from Victoria where our favorite food is Indian. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We shared the coconut veggie curry, butter chicken and pakoras. The portions were good. We even had leftovers. The food was delicious. I also want to add that I was really impressed that the 1st question asked when I called in our order was if we had any food allergies. We don't but it is good to know that is something they consider important. Excellent value for money. Thank you!

Food was delicious! I had family visiting from Victoria and they said that it was the best Indian food they have ever had. The service was also fantastic!

My bandmates and I had the pleasure of enjoying the best chicken curry and butter chicken the island has to offer! We met them at the Sunshine Coast Festival food stalls, and would highly recommend them to anyone passing by. Top shelf food and the best service!

Sushi restaurant
Minato Japanese Restaurant is a renowned establishment that specializes in Japanese cuisine. Having been in operation since 1991, this eatery has gained fame for its delectable and authentic comfort food. Despite arriving late one evening, just before closing time, the restaurant was still bustling with activity. The staff efficiently cleared a table for us and promptly took our drink orders. We opted for tea, which arrived steaming hot within no time at all.
I've loved Minato Sushi since they first arrived in Powell River. Their service is consistently good as is their menu and food preparation. Staff are well versed in information on their menu and their service is polite and accurate.

This must be the best Japanese restaurant in Powell River. The food is on point and noticeably fresh. They have cute little booths so you can eat as much as you want without anybody judging. Service is great too.

Minato is excellent. They have amazing quality and service. I always get the Chicken Teriyaki and my wife gets the Sushi. Sometimes I like a little more rice so I get an extra rice. Nothing bad to say at all about this business.

I live in the city, and head out to powell river at least 2 times a month. Almost everytime I come here, unless I arrive later then expected! Food is good, and service is great as well! Stop in if you can! I’m sure the locals do!

Sashimi were cut incorrectly so the taste and texture were off. Black wheat noodle was used in yaki soba and that's just weird... it was so chewy and there was no sauce.. so dry🤮 Spicy tuna roll well the sauce wasn't blended well so a few pieces were spicy! While the other ones didn't have much sauce in those pieces. Ebi gyoza was meh ... We spent $137 and it was a waste of money. It was our first time and last time.

We arrived late in the evening, about an hour before closing. The restaurant was full with a table just finishing up. The servers quickly cleared the table and invited us to our table. We were asked what we'd like to drink and we ordered the tea, which was delivered very quickly and hot. We ordered our meals, after about 10 minutes the miso soup was delivered and about 5 minutes later our main course was served. The food was hot and fresh and delicious. The servers are very pleasant and we love our experience eating here. The atmosphere is pleasant with mostly private tables. Thank you!

This place is one of the best restaurant in Powell river. 5 star all the way… kudos to all workers👏

Good for dine in sushi in town. Has a nice atmosphere with fun little booths. Sushi quality is above average though maybe you won't find it compares to your favorite sushi joint in Vancouver or Victoria. Has what I would call a "full" variety of Japanese food on their menu. Staff are very friendly, but this place is swamped on popular evenings so expect to take a little more time when ordering here on a Friday or Saturday.

Our favourite sushi restaurant in town. The caterpillar roll is a standout hit. They do seem to get a bit overwhelmed sometimes, so I've had a few times where I've had to wait an extra 15 mins or so after the estimated pick-up time. Also, while the sushi is definitely good, it doesn't quite hold up when compared against some of the places in Vancouver. It's still good though, and I'll keep going back for more.

Awesome service at a super busy time. The line-up was out the door but I was served quickly and my food arrived fast. The server was also friendly and kind while I overheard her dealing with rude patrons. Good food.

Good food. However, I had to wait 45 mins after being seated to get my order! It took forever and very slow service

Fine dining restaurant
The Granada Restaurant is conveniently situated at the intersection near the Old Courthouse Inn hotel. This well-established eatery in Powell River offers a diverse array of pizzas alongside Greek cuisine options. The ambiance, although dated, remains tidy and presentable. Yvonne, a courteous and efficient server, attends to patrons with warmth. The standout qualities of this dining establishment lie in its homemade tzatziki and hummus, which elevate the overall dining experience.
The food is always good, and the owners are super nice. The pizza is a little bit more expensive than other places, but I find their pizza is the best. I would rather pay more for great pizza. You totally get what you pay for.
D Lewis — Google review
I have only ever had the pizza, but it's absolutely awesome. The quality of the toppings and the cheese is top notch and they really load em up heavy. It's not the cheapest by any means but you definitely get what you pay for and worth every penny and honestly it's not that expensive either compared to say panago or pizza hut, but way better! Definitely recommended. It is a nice restaurant and the atmosphere is relaxing. The staff are very friendly and do a great job and never make you feel rushed and are genuinely happy you are there.

My family and I came in for dinner Wednesday April 10th night. The service was worse than anything I have ever experienced. Guests who came after us by 25 minutes were served first. The waitress made nothing but excuses. When we got our Hawaiian pizza it was burnt. There was barely is pizza sauce on the pizza and brought us a small pizza box for a medium pizza with 2 piece out of it. This restaurant was amazing when Joyce and Gus owned and now it is terrible. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

10/10 What a wonderful gem in an otherwise unspectacular list of locations, with generic Costco food. I ordered the Lamb Mezedakia platter, lamb with mushrooms, perfectly made, I doubled down on greek salad, which was a little wet but the vegetables were fresh and they used generous portions. The decor is beautiful and the family photos on the walls surrounding the cash station adds a really nice cozy touch that makes the timeless decorum feel more, from loved and fine dining, than generic restaurants who think a coat of blue and white paint make it greek (snickers).. Granada has charm, delicious food, beautiful pizzas and friendly staff. Perfect for a date night, or event, and they even put up with an entire family of ten showing up with no reservation. (Sorry). I did notice that the cups on the tables had spots from dishwashing on it, this isn’t a complaint but more of a common issues of glasses or silverware is not being buffed after a wash. I was impressed with how organized the service was and how the food came out with such short notice and so many mouths to feed. 10/10

Prices were good. The atmosphere is authentic and the food is delicious! Big portions. The waitress was very pleasant, as well. The owners were there that night and they personally inquired about our dinning experience. They really care about their customers have a positive experience.

The Sicilian pizza was cooked perfectly and the cheese was loaded on and nice and stringy. The sweet and spicy chicken was delicious as well. Avneet was friendly, attentive and provided excellent service.

Well established restaurant in Powell River. The decor is older but clean. Our server, Yvonne was very friendly and efficient. Homemade tzatziki and hummus set this meal apart. Chicken mezedakia platter #4 and lamb mezedakia were done to perfection: moist, tender and flavourful. The mushrooms were fresh not canned and sauteed in olive oil. Greek salad is freshly chopped, not mushy like some places. And the onions are not overwhelming (white onions) with a delicate homemade dressing. The only disappointment was that they serve french fries instead of those delicious lemony roasted potatoes. That would have gotten them a 5*.

What a wonderful surprise! We were visiting from out of town and stumbled upon the Granada. We had 2 rambunctious little ones with us and were worried about going into a nice restaurant when they were wound up. The staff were amazing and understanding. We had amazing meals which, shut the kids down and kept them devouring perfectly prepared pasta. It was among some of the best Greek food I've ever had. I am a fan. The owner made sure to say hi and ask how dinner was. The kids got lots of hugs from them! We had a spectacular experience in the 50 yr old Granada restaurant. We will be back!

Best pizza in town! Joyce and Gus have been welcoming the town and feeding guests for 50 years and really know how to make delicious food. Go. You won't be sorry!

The Linguini Alfredo was delicious. The garlic toast was just a regular piece of breakfast toast. My son had plate #9. He enjoyed it. Rice was lacking flavor. We will definitely be back.

I did not stay in. Picked up. Orders 1/2 ribs & 1/2 wings, fries and gravey with baklava desert. Entree was terrible. Cook put fries wings and ribs in same container which is ok bit cook poured hot sauce on the pile of wings and they were not covered - tossed in the sauce like everywhere else. Ribs were brutal too. Not cooked well and way too much bbq sause just poured over ribs and got all over wing snd fries. The Costco fries were ok but gravey was cold - recommendedjust potatoes. Thank goodness I got a Greek side salad as that was the only item I could eat. It was very week and the lemon was slimy and did notbsmell like lemon. Throwing things in a container covering in sauces ruined the meal. Never again. No recommendation except skip going to this place.

I've been in Powell River for a little over 3 weeks and I've order 4 different Pizzas, 3 different styles wings, and a few different appetizers. Everything has been #SuperDelicious, and the Pizza & Wings deserve their own review, because they are out of this world! The owners & staff members are friendly & welcoming, and have really made me feel at home. I LOVE Granada Restaurant in Powell River BC!!

I went to Granada on the Holidays. Food is not the same. As the portion. If they had a zero for the food that's what I would rate it. Maybe it's cause they sold the place? You can't cook Greek or Italian? Best you change the name.

Located in the charming town of Powell River, 32 Lakes Cafe and Bakery is renowned for its exceptional pastries and unique flavors. Visitors have raved about their delectable treats, which surpass those found in Vancouver. Conveniently situated just a few blocks away, this hidden gem offers not only great coffee but also freshly baked croissants and baguettes. What sets them apart is their outstanding service, which goes above and beyond.
Coffee amazing. Pastries amazing. Sourdough bread - best I have had in a very long time. We also had their buttercream cardamom cake - incredible. I wish I bought two. Highly recommended. Sad for me that they are closed on Sunday/Monday. Next visit I plan to seriously stock up.

This is an absolute must stop in Powell River. The croissants are absolutely amazing. Me and my boyfriend tried the maple bacon and cheese, caramel apple and pecan, and nettle and feta croissants. We were in LOVE with this bakery before we walked in we were hit with the intoxicatingly delicious scent of baked goods. As we entered, I could see the croissants from the kitchen getting ready to be in my belly! You can tell the croissants are made with the labour of love of the chefs here. You can definitely taste the level of care that was put into making their croissants. My only complaint is I wish they had things clearly labeled in their bakery case of what’s available. I arrived just before 9am just as the croissants were coming out. As a I left I think I heard another item coming out too. So I’m not sure if coming right when they open is best as they had so much more to offer later! But I’m sure it’s all delicious anyway.

Lukewarm cappuccino - though the coffee used was good. Smallest cappuccino I’ve had in ages. Little seating available. The front window bench is cold and is not stable. The guy on the other side wobbled it constantly without meaning to. Food was good but not noteworthy.

32 Lakes Cafe and Bakery is a charming establishment nestled in the heart of Powell River, offering a delightful experience for coffee and pastry enthusiasts. With its inviting atmosphere and attentive staff, it promises a memorable visit. However, I must admit that their rendition of the London fog falls short of expectations. The London Fog at 32 Lakes Cafe and Bakery unfortunately lacks the robust flavour one would hope for. Despite the promising combination of Earl Grey tea, steamed milk, and a touch of vanilla, the end result is disappointingly weak and lacks that distinctive essence that makes this beverage so beloved. It leaves much to be desired in terms of taste and intensity. This was mainly due to the lack of steamed milk and sweetener in the London Fog that was received. It was so weak that it couldn't be finished. That said, it's worth noting that 32 Lakes Cafe and Bakery offers a wide range of other delightful beverages and mouth watering pastries. From aromatic coffees to delectable treats, there are plenty of options to explore and enjoy. The cozy ambiance and friendly service further contribute to the overall experience. If you're seeking a bold and flavourful London Fog, it may be advisable to explore alternative options. However, if you're open to discovering other delightful offerings, 32 Lakes Cafe and Bakery certainly has plenty to offer, making it a worthwhile stop for coffee and bakery enthusiasts alike.

Wonderful freshly made baked goods. Excellent in-house roasted coffee, home made sandwiches & yummy bread. Bright friendly atmosphere enhanced by pleasant staff who care. Good place to meet a friend in downtown PR. I should have took the picture before I dove into the fresh soughdough seeded bun with house made butter & jam. Opps 🙄

Excellent brewed coffee. Great little bakery (the only quality one in town that we found). Love the baguettes (get there early!) & the vegan granola bar. More vegan pastries (scones, muffins, etc.) would be amazing.

Great coffee and really good baker goods. Cute little spot right downtown Powell River. Better than other options on the same street but not open Sunday/Monday. Love the vibe and the items available to buy.

The best place to start your day, in fact the only espresso shop in town open at 7:30 am that offers fresh made croissants and other yummy stuff! They give the latte Art too!

I happened to stay within a few blocks of this shop which happened to be a blessing. Coffee is great. So are fresh baked croissant and baguette. What is above and beyond is the service. I have had lots of great coffee in Seattle including my own roasted coffee but it is a gem when you find a place that serves great coffee and matching services. Thanks Nevada and the team. I hope this small town stays this way forever.

Excellent baked goods, great location, very friendly staff, the space itself is very cool. I don't like the coffee as much as river city's, but it is still better than others in town. Croissants and olive oil cakes are my favorite.

This place is amazing. Staff and atmosphere are always lovely. Welcoming of all folks, including kids and babies! I always love their lattes and baked goods. Better croissants than what I’ve had in Paris! Worth the money!

Had the pumpkin pie and cream cheese cake slice…so good…moist and not too sweet…didn’t give it full stars, as I didn’t try the coffee….the place was trendy and clean.

Okay I've been in Powell River for about 3 weeks now and have tried all the cafes ....anddddd this baby takes the cake! Tbh all the coffee in this town by all businesses is bloody good! However 32 lakes definitely takes first place. The coffee here is amazing, as are all the specialty coffees for the season changes. (Couldn't believe how TASTY the maple pecan latte was!) And the food... wow... such beautifully presented, eye catching and delicious bakery treats. The interior is incredibly warm, welcoming and the giant big windows facing the morning street just makes it a perfect place to enjoy a morning coffee, journal and/or read for a while. On top of all this, the staff are so genuinely kind and friendly. Lots of smiles, genuine conversation, and helpful advice. 10/10 ! And my #1 for PR. Thanks guys for such a amazing and unique little business 🥰
