Impressive place that is well maintained, clean and informative. Helpful and friendly interpreters. Such a pretty setting on the water. There is quite a bit of walking in case you have limited mobility. I was impressed by all the recreations of living spaces, barracks etc. Very reasonably priced. We spent two hours seeing it all. Recommend.

Absolutely it's beautiful. I was there around 5 pm. It's not allowed to enter the yard. The sunset was so beautiful.

We went to the Ghost tour. Very much worthwhile and a tremendous amount of fun! Great for families but perhaps not suitable for the very young. Excellent interpretation and not at all expensive

I can't believe I have lived in Ontario all my life and have never been here sooner. I love historic places, especially ones with marine connections. The entry fee is extremely reasonable. It took us a few hours to meander through the entire site, and enjoyed the presentations from the actors. The only thing that would make this experience better would be if you could actually take a sail on the HMS Tecumseth.

Nice place to visit. $5 admission, clean, safe and full of history

The Ghost Tour is a must for anyone that enjoys taking in a bit history while going on a hike. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. Lots of parking but a bit of a walk from the center. Beautiful sunsets

So much enjoyed having someone in cabins explaining tools, life and giving the place so much meaning. The ship is very cool to go before deck. The kids loved how interactive it was.

If you enjoy history , this place is a must. The staff are very knowledgeable about the history . Make sure you have at least few hours designated for the Discovery Harbour. There is more to see than what you expect to see.

We visited here to see the historical ship from Awenda Provincial Park during camping. We were so glad to bring our dogs and show them all the beautiful scenery. Literally our doggies loved to come in and look around all the historic buildings more than us 🤣🤣 So kind wardens, well maintained places. Highly recommend!!

Wow. This place is amazing if you love Canadian history and have time to walk, see, read and imagine. Is a museum of history. I had a wonderful time. You get a map at the entrance. Everything has number and explain. Each station has a tour guide. We asked them to tell us. They are amazing. So much history. At the end beautiful brand new museum. A must !!!! Lovely restaurant at the entrance!! We spend like 3 hours !! Amazing!!

Historical building and place, must visit when you visit this area. Place is scenic and beautiful with lake view, we were not allowed to visit the museum due to Covid-19. It has a restaurant which was also nice but we were not have time for food. The ancient ships were also amazing. This place has lots of photography potential. Enjoyed visiting with family.

The church offers ample parking and a serene environment making it a must-visit destination in Midlands. Many groups like St.
Peaceful and nice place to be! Great place to connect with Almighty. It was so relaxing that i felt so close the god. Solemn place to pray and do station of the cross. In awe on how the church has been preserved in hundres years. 1.5hrs drive from Toronto country side driving in summer time, this place is 10 mins away from town centre where their harbour is a scenery that can't be missed. Thank you Martyrs for all the graces received and a safe ride for my family.

Place looks and feels very solemn. Plenty of parking. There is a station of the cross outside of the shrine. Inside, it has some cool religious paintings. Ambiance does feel very solemn. I believe there is a $10 parking fee.

This place was very peaceful. If you are interested in exploring the history and architecture, I would recommend exploring the grounds behind the church. It's a wonderful and beautiful place to sit and relax as well.

This a pilgrimage place. A miraculous church with lots of visitors yearly. It is positioned along the highway going to the town of Midland. Great place to meditate. Can do picnic with family too. It has station of the cross statue. And parking is free. The 1church itself is beautiful and lots of history. So many greenery, it is also beautiful in autumn. So many touristic place to visit in the area. I love the countryside scenery.

We didn't get a chance to explore the entire grounds as the hubby was not feeling well, but we managed the Shrine and the Stations of the Cross Garden. This is a good experience for any Catholic, but the historical significance of the site should be an interest to anyone. We had free access with our entry to Sainte Marie Among the Hurons.

Gorgeous church. Regardless of denomination, or even the absence thereof, a must visit if in Midland/Penetanguishene or even Barrie and Orillia area. Great grounds with lots of statues representing the way a person should aspire to live. I always come out better than when I went in. Parking can cost up to ten dollars.

Amazing Church... There's a belief that if you offer 3 prayer requests, the following year you'll visit again to offer thanks for having received those prayer requests. Post COVID they are now charging visitors $10/head, preferably cash. Weekends are very busy, so if you would like to explore the place, weekdays would be ideal. 😊😊

A very nice complex to visit. Lots of space to picnic. They have multiple services on Sundays and even a parade with some of the parishioners. The entrance fee on the Sunday we visited was $10 per adult.

"This Martyrs' Shrine of Huronia bears witness to the rich heritage that has been handed on to the whole Church. At the same time it is a place of pilgrimage and prayer, a monument to God's blessings in the past, an inspiration as we look to the future..." - Pope John Paul II Martyrs' Shrine has been a holy and historic place of worship for nearly 100 years and continues a nearly 400 year story of love and discovery with St. Jean de Brébeuf and his companions. There is much to discover and explore, and on this page we can only give you a glimpse into the Shrine's rich history. Martyrs' Shrine is more than just a beautiful old building. It is a place of worship, a place to meet, a sanctuary, a haven, a celebration, a place of joy and occasionally sadness, but most of all it is alive with the people who make the Shrine what it is today. The Martyrs’ Shrine welcomes over 100,000 visitors annually, was once home to the Canadian Martyrs and has been visited by Saint Pope John Paul II among others. The Shrine is a unique blend of early modern Indigenous-European tradition and discovery that inspired and influenced the formation of Canada as we know it today. We hope that you can join us in person and are here to help you as you learn more about the our holy site. We visit Marty's Shrine in August every single year for over 30 years now 🙏

Mid August 2023 weekday late afternoon. Very few visitors but the ground and church are open till 9 pm. The east gate is closed while the west has a gatekeeper collecting $10 entrance fee. There is still no buffer lane on Hwy 12 to accommodate merging with busy and heavy , high speed downhill traffic. A measure pending for decades might prevent disasters from happening.

Beautiful place. The priests are very humble. Great place for a family picnic. There are Canadian geese, so many locations with geese feces.
romesh fernando — Google review
Martyr’s Shrine is popular to pilgrims during summer, a shrine dedicated to the Canadian martyrs, eight Jesuits Saints that lived, worked and died here over 350 years ago. If you’ve been here before, you’ll notice that now they charge $10 per person to get in. There’s a Portuguese pilgrimage on Sunday and the whole grounds were full, parking lots were full and some actually had tents so I assume they slept in. Once in the main worship hall, notice the painted glass windows around, the wooden walls, and you step out through the main door, you’ll see an awesome view. You could easily spend the day here, of course, devotees go through the huge and large grounds, with stations of the cross, and the altar where Pope John Paul celebrated a mass. It is a huge compound.

Really like the Midland Cultural center and am looking forward to seeing shows there in 2022. However, their e-mail messaging is poor. Way to many e-mails (seems like 3+ per week) for events I'm not interested in. The *Update which Genres you want to follow!* page on their e-mail service provider doesn't let you actually update Genres... just your own profile. So I'm left with 2 choices: 1. Accept everything which for me is way too much or 2. Unsubscribe and miss out on great show announcements MCC - please fix this

My husband and I enjoyed a delightful community theater experience last Saturday night at the Midland Cultural Center. We watched Four Old Broads, presented by the Huronia Players. Before the show, we were able to view some of the displays and artwork. I would highly recommend a visit if you're in the downtown Midland area.

Last Friday the MCC treated Midland to Zepology, an AMAZING Led Zepplin tribute band, that left everyone in awe as they took us back in time to when the music was magical. And they did it with a level of talent that would impress even Plant and Page. I have been to many concerts at the MCC since moving to Midland 6 years ago and feel that this venue's production level (lighting, sound) is second to none. It is intimate and fun and well run (mostly by volunteers, I believe). What I didn't now, until putting the venue to the test with a CO2 meter, is how impressively well ventilated the space is, which is ultra important during a time and season when many airborne pathogens are omnipresent. Thank you MCC for such great entertainment and caring about our health.

Great place to visit with kids or on your own. It's a low-key and informative experience. Lots of parking, but it's also attached to the trail system, so you can arrive on foot or bike. It is also right across from the Martyr's Shrine, so you can combine both sites in one day.

We had a good walk in a beautiful, orderly and clean environment, which faithfully preserves the marsh world with its living creatures for us and future generations, and not only preserves it, but also presents it to us, the visitors. The Park employees were very kind and knowledgeable. It was also a great experience there that the little Chickadees ate sunflower seeds from my hands. I highly recommend to visit this place especially families with little kids to give them a lifelong and wonderful experience and teach them to love nature.

A beautiful peaceful and quiet place. A piece of nature perfect to relax and enjoy nice wintery views. We enjoyed very much our snowshoeing adventure. Nice wide trails. The staff was very friendly. Feeding the birds was very nice!!!

Feb. 21 2022 - trails open. Had a great walk through the trees and on the boardwalk. Dog friendly EXCEPT the raptor bird sanctuary. Take some bird seed (black sunflower bird sees works well) and the chickadees and other small birds will eat from your hand. Amazing experience for kids and adults.

Had a very enjoyable visit to Wye Marsh during a week day. Was not busy at all and lots of parking. Check in at the visitor center and paid $12 for adult admission. The trails are easy, fairly short, and well marked with plenty of things to see along the way. Washrooms inside the visitor center are well kept. Visitor center also has plenty of tourist things to buy and a machine to buy drinks from. There is a “Birds of Prey” area that contains some interesting birds. Among them are: turkey vulture, great horned owl, hawk, bald eagle, plus a few others.

Really beautiful calm place for a walk. Dogs are welcome. Lots of educational plaques as well for reading about marshes. Highly recommend!
Jonathan Ding — Google review
Great place to go for a walk, they have multiple different trails and some beautiful views from the lookout tower. We saw turtles, frogs and various birds. They also have some birds of prey that can't be released back into the wild due to injuries, those were pretty cool to see.
Vanessa Hanley-Smith — Google review
This is such a well kept marsh and the activities are quite fun! We dropped in to explore their marshes on the guided kayak tour and watched their bird of prey session. Very kid friendly and lots of wildlife to see!
frances lam — Google review
Wonderful place! A bit pricey. What it is: It took us 1.5 hours to cover the trails with small children. They have rescued birds and animals that are in tanks indoors or birds of prey in cages outdoors. The indoor part is small with educational signs; they had turtles and snakes. The outdoor birds of prey section had owls (snowy, etc.), eagle, raven, etc. Along the trails, there is an enormous lookout tower that is fun to view the landscape when you get to the top. You will also find a sugar shack and a few other buildings; none are in operation. There is also an absolutely delightful Trumpeter swan area on a pond. What an experience watching them honk and flap their wings at each other! 1/3 of Ontario's Trumpeter swans are at this marsh. They are trying to help them. See my pics. Washrooms: They are in the main building. There are none along the trail. There are no indoor places along the path to go to the washroom, breastfeed, or change a diaper. Admission: $12+ tax for adults, children and students are $9 + tax , children 3 and under are free. Parking: Free, and there is a decent amount of it. Food/Snacks: There was no snack shop on site. Gift shop: shirts, jewelry, books, stuffed animals, sticker books, mugs, kits, honey, maple syrup, etc. Types of ground surfaces: Smooth trail paths and sometimes boardwalks. I went when the paths were covered in snow. COVID: Some of the paths have two-way tight foot traffic, so you might want to be masked outdoors. I was told that schools take trips here masked outdoors.

Little Lake Park is a sizable body of water, although it pales in comparison to the vastness of Lake Huron. During weekends, it bustles with energy as children, families, and individuals engage in light sports activities. It's also an excellent spot for leisurely strolls, boasting a diner where visitors can grab a bite to eat. While finding parking can be challenging during peak times, there is additional parking available near the nearby recreation center just two minutes away.
Nice park, huge and lots of parking. Small beach but the geese own it so I don't know about spending much time on the Sand. Lots of picnic tables and spots for a nice picnic or some quiet time

Very big lake, although "little" in comparison to Lake Huron of course. Very active in the weekend with children, families and people playing light sports. Good for walking around. Has a diner. There's parking available but can be hard to find during busier times, there's more parking near the recreation center 2 minutes away.

In addition to their extensive wine and beer selection, The Boathouse serves up refreshing cocktails that are perfect for enjoying on a sunny summer day.
All I can say is: YUM! I would certainly recommend dining here for a few reasons: the view on the patio is spectacular in the summer months; a patio sitting on the lake looking out towards the harbour, the staff are warm & inviting, and the food tops it off to make the perfect experience all around! I had the beef brisket tacos 🌮 which I very much enjoyed. My dad had the brisket burger, and we both thought the brisket was tender & flavourful! My mom thoroughly enjoyed her fish & chips. And the fries?? Delish! 🤌 I will definitely be recommending this location- 5 stars! ⭐️

First time here and will definitely be coming back from Toronto just to try more of their menu. The food was amazing and so was the customer service. The guy that sat us was super friendly and the server with braids was just as kind. I haven’t been to a restaurant in a while where I had to write a review right as I walked out. That’s how good the food, atmosphere and customer service were! We got the Bacon & Cheese Spinach dip, chicken Alfredo and the Argentine Burger. The dip was honestly so worth the price, given the taste and portion. The burger was loaded and the pasta was rich, creamy and honestly, packed with flavour:) whoever made this food really put love into it lol

We went with our daughter and son in law to celebrate my hubby's bday. We felt good, plexi glass has been installed between the booths. A lot of space between booth and bar area. Space felt safe. We had been there in the past, this was the first in a few years. They may have done more interior changes, but it also may just be the relocating of tables. Very nice space. Our menu choices were: Chicken guac on a bun with sweet potato fries. She said it was good, but she felt she got the short straw tonight. It was just alright. Burger topped with pulled pork. One of the tallest burgers I've ever seen! He said it was great. Hubby had chicken parm entree. He said it was absolutely delicious. The noodles were very wide and hard to manage, but delicious. Nice shreeded parm on top. I hit the jackpot with the brisket entree. A very generous portion of brisket, great scalloped potatoes with possibly bacon in them and awesome veggies (not the frozen soggy usual veggies) and a delicious gravy. The brisket was perfectly salty.. simply delicious. I could not finish mine, but hubby certainly polished off what I could not finish. He said next time he would be ordering the brisket or maybe the short ribs, if they can do brisket like that, the short ribs would be awesome too! Portions were all very generous. I believe mine was $29 and his was $26 Our waitress was great. She messed up our bills a bit, not in the amount but by giving and charging us each other's bills... she noticed it when she went to do the second bill... she had to go get help to fix it up.. but it really did not bother us at all.. and she appologized many times. Hubby was offered a free dessert because it was his bday.. none of us could eat it, so she offered us it to go!

We went on sushi/ramen night and glad we did! The shrimp maki sushi was fresh. I got the pork belly which was a great portion size and cooked perfectly. The service was slower but it was busy when we were there.

Prices have gone up, much like everywhere else, but this restaurant has it all. Beautiful location, great food and comfortable seating. Kids had tortellini with pesto cream sauce. If you're heading in to Midland, this is definitely a spot worthy of hitting for lunch or dinner.

A great spot to sit on the patio and enjoy the waterfront view. Food was solid and well-prepared. The service was great—with a special mention to our server Chandra who went above & beyond to check with the kitchen for our party’s allergy concerns. She went the extra mile to help our family feel comfortable, engaging with our family members with friendliness & cheer.

We ordered the popular burger and it was technically a double burger and a steak on top with good quality. Satisfied and highly recommend it. 2 burger plus 2 beer was 88$. Considering the quality of the service and the food it was worth it.

Sometimes being the only food places open near the water on a Sunday has its benefits, the boathouse eatery deserves credit. They don’t mind if you come in and use their washroom, more often than not you’ll stay in drink and eat. You can wait for the sunset and enjoy live music from one of song writer and singer where you can request your favorite tune. The set are prompt and polite, and most of all, the food is great, pizza and poutine, pair it with your choice of brew or wine. A Unique place to visit.

Mom's Restaurant is a charming eatery that serves classic diner dishes, such as eggs Benedict, in a cozy setting adorned with wood accents. The establishment boasts a welcoming atmosphere with stylish decorations and an abundance of natural light. The delectable meals offered are made from fresh ingredients and come at affordable prices. While the service might be slightly slow due to high demand, it is still satisfactory.
We went in for brunch on Thanksgiving day. Ordered Waffles, Blueberry Pancakes, Vegetarian Omlette, and Eggs Florentine. A cute little place at Port McNicoll - lovely breakfast, friendly staff, good prices. Just the breakfast we needed before a long day of exploring the area around. We got the cutest table for 2 as well, just by the window on a rainy day looking at the gorgeous fall colours. We have the vegetarian omlette and plain waffles. Everything was very tasty. The potatoes with the omlette were so nicely spiced! Highly recommended!

Dinner was so delicious! Jessie was a great waitress. She was very friendly and delivered all of our food exactly as ordered. The food was hot and tasty. Homemade coconut pie was excellent. Thank you very much to the cooks and staff.

Hands down best breakfast in Midland. Service was friendly, fast and even helpful in suggesting where to locally find homemade jams and syrup! The Mom’s coffee was amazing.

Came here for a later breakfast around 10:45am. The wait was about 10 minutes for a table as they are very busy. The place is lovely with nice decor and open and sunny feeling. The food was delicious and fresh. The prices are very reasonable as well. The service was good; albeit a little slow, due to the busyness. Overall a great place for breakfast, and definitely worth the wait! Edit: Came back a week later for a later brunch and there was no wait time at all on a Friday. Yay! The food was just as good and the service was fantastic. Definitely a place you want to come back to!

Came here for dinner with friends and we had the most lovely server. Her name was Elsa and she was quick, friendly, and super helpful. The food was absolutely amazing and the environment was really cozy. I could not have better things to say about this restaurant. Come here for relaxed, delicious food, and warm, friendly service!

The Arch Steakhouse and Tavern provides an incredible dining experience. The staff is friendly, attentive, and personable. The cuisine is exquisite, with dishes bursting with delightful flavors that are expertly cooked to perfection. While the prices may be on the higher side for steak, seafood, and wine options, there are also more affordable menu choices available as well as a kids menu. This restaurant deserves a spot on your favorites list and is definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely amazing my wife and myself did a motorcycle trip and spent the weekend in Midland and because of us being dressed in leathers one restaurant turned us away and you welcomed us with open arms. The food was fantastic service unbelievable sorry it took this long to post this but we haven’t forgotten and will be planning to come back again very soon. Thank you again for your hospitality

Make reservations and you're seated quickly by the very cordial staff. It's a busy place. Bring a light sweater if you're seated next to an air vent. Great food, and plenty of choices except we didn't see any gluten/dairy free options. Expect prices to be a bit higher but it's reflected in the quality and portions of your meal. Recommend.

Have been here twice. The first visit was very busy. Restaurant was very hot and food took a long time. No big deal. Likely a one off. Tried them again. Service was exceptional but the food is not everything I was expecting considering its reputation. I would give it about a 6.5/10.

Very good food! Steak was delicious, shrimp was good + the potatoes are my favorite item (have a lemon flavour)... only downside is the price, pretty expensive

My husband organized a surprise Mother’s Day dinner for myself and his mother. We were a party of 5 (including 1 child). We drove 2 hours with a 4:30 pm reservation for dinner. We arrived a little early and were taken in at 4:00. Our waitress was wonderful. She was quick and understanding when we needed a little more time. We started with salads and I must say - the absolute best Greek and Caesar salads I have tasted! We were served delicious, warm rolls with butter. Between the adults we had shrimp, steak and schnitzel. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. I dislike cooked carrots immensely but somehow they were able to make them taste great!! Our waitress was attentive and quick to refill our drinks and take dishes away from the table. She spoke to us like she was an old friend :) I truly have nothing negative to say about this experience. Everything about it made it worth the 2 hour drive. We will definitely return! Thank you for helping make this one of the best Mother’s Days ever!!

We were greeted and was told it would be about 2 minutes and would be seated. We were promptly seated and greeted by bus boy and then the waitress. We ordered drinks and shortly after our order was taken. The service was excellent and the meal was served in a very timely manner. Our meals were delicious. Staff were very friendly and we were so impressed with the bus boy and was he very engaging and it was only his second shift on New Year's eve. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

Food was good but not the best although my husband enjoyed his meal. I ordered the ribs and while the portion sizes were huge they were lacking in flavour. Decor looks very tired. Service was good though.

I really loved this place every time we've gone. The service is fantastic. Like, genuinely fantastic. The food never, ever disappoints. It's a place I look forward to visiting whenever I can. This is not a handicap accessible spot as the restrooms are downstairs, so be aware and enjoy!

My experience at the Arch was amazing! The staff is friendly, personable and tentative. The food was so delicious! Everything had amazing flavor, it was cooked to perfection and tasted so good. The prices were reasonable, and can be pricey if you go with steak/seafood/wine, but they have cheaper menu options and a kids menu as well. This place will definitely go on my favorites list, definitely worth a visit!

I was delighted by the prospect of visiting Stackers Pancake House after a long time. As a server, the staff seamlessly coordinated their efforts, ensuring that coffee and water refills were graciously offered to all tables rather than just their own. This attention to detail was something I greatly appreciated. Moreover, the friendly greeting I received upon entering the restaurant immediately put me at ease. In terms of food quality, I had no complaints whatsoever; everything exceeded my expectations.
We went for lunch. The food was delicious. They have a $10.00 lunch special that changes daily. All the items we ordered were homemade. Wish I took pics. Although prices are higher, the portions are large. We ended up taking a "doggy" bag. Only wish it was open later. Closes @ 2:00 but open @ 7:00 for a breakfast special

First off, the servers do not greet nor acknowledge you at the door. I usually phone an order in, but when you go to pick it up, you wait in line for 15-20 min at the door without acknowledgement. I have worked in the restaurant industry for 20 years, and all the staff has to do is say hello and let the waiting guests know that they are busy and will be with them shortly. They simply ignored the door. Guests lost patience and simply sat themselves at dirty tables. Secondly; as an owner of a restaurant, you do not feed your family and cater to them in a packed restaurant! The lady doing the cooking (I am assuming that she is an owner), was more concerned with socializing and pandering to her family occupying the large booth by the kitchen than cooking orders with a busy restaurant. I am assuming that is one of the reasons why there was a 15-20 min wait at the door on that visit. Now, based on my wait at the door the last few times just for a pick-up, I decided to order from Door Dash this time. I enjoy the Lumberjack Breakfast, but the last 3 times I have noticed a severe decline in food quality; becoming worse every visit. The previous order that I picked up was passable, though the eggs were overcooked and the sausages were undercooked. This last order over Door Dash convinced me to never order from here, again. I order eggs over easy. I have included a picture of the "over easy" eggs. They were so severely overcooked that they were akin to a solid piece of rubber. They were hard and burnt, and the yolks were hard and solid. The restaurant may make the claim that "the eggs cooked in the take out container", but look at the pictures. Eggs don't turn dark brown (they were burnt on a griddle), and have solid yolk while sitting in a take out bag. The underside of the eggs were dark brown and burnt. I have ordered over easy eggs for take out many times and never had this problem. The sausages were raw inside and cooked outside, the home fries were not even cooked; they were slightly heated, greasy potato slices. The bacon appears to have been par-cooked in a large batch and left to the side of the griddle then heated up for the order; they were strips of rubbery grease. The pancakes and toast were the only edible items in my meal but everything else was thrown out as it was unedible garbage. Midland has several breakfast restaurants, and if this place keeps going the way that they are, they shouldn't be surprised when their business declines and fails.

What a great place. Our food was ready in under ten minutes which is great especially for those that have limited time for lunch break. The owner is very chatty and welcoming. Our waitress was attentive and the food was delicious!! The lady in the kitchen is a great cook that does a great job with modifications for picky eaters. Definitely will be back!!

Earlier in the year we visited Midland and sought out a local restaurant. We found this one. We were greeted by staff very quickly and seated efficiently. The menu was diverse. We ordered chicken fingers, grilled cheese, club house and a toasted western. All food came out quick and freshly prepared. Service was polite and quick. Seemed to have a lot of local residents attending which is a good sign! If I am ever in Midland again I would return. The food was good, came out quick and price was very reasonable.

I usually use door dash to order from here, but we've been in a few times too. The food is delicious, and the staff is friendly. We love the atmosphere. As an added bonus, my daughter, who is allergic to corn, can eat just about everything safely! I absolutely recommend Stackers!!

Was so happy to think of coming as its been awhile. As a server.. our gal didn't miss a beat! Everyone worked together. Coffee , water refills were not just offered to their own tables.. which I hate to see. They kept their eyes on all the tables. I was greeted with a smile the second I walked in.These are things I'm picky about. And the food.. no disappointment whatsoever. Thanks for making it a great outing !

It started out great. Coffee and water are delivered quickly. Order placed simultaneously. 30 minutes later, there was no sign of our waitress, food, and 1 coffee refill. I asked another server about our order. Within 5 minutes, our food arrived along with a sighting of our waitress who promptly returned our bacon for a little crip up.. hashbrowns were delicious. We have been here several times and have never had such slow horrible service. Will contemplate a return visit

Pizza restaurant
Dillon's Wood Fired Pizza offers Neapolitan-style pizzas cooked in a wood-burning oven, with a variety of toppings to choose from. The small dining area initially raised concerns due to the close proximity of tables, but these worries were quickly dispelled by the exceptional service provided by the staff. The food itself was truly outstanding, surpassing even the high standards associated with Italian cuisine in Sault Ste Marie, where the restaurant originates from.
My friend and I ordered the margarita pizza to share! It was delivered to our table and recommended we put olive oil and sea salt on our plate and set the pizza on top. We used utensils to eat it. It was pure joy. Every bite was delicious. Crust sauce cheese basil were perfect. Great service as well and other happy customers around us! Great experience.

What more can I say!! Best place for a dine in, delicious pizza, good music and vibes. We were hosted by Lesley and she was an amazing person. I brought my wife for her birthday here, and they made it so much special. The pizza here is going to blow your mind, and if they have the special dip, do not think twice about getting it. Enjoy!

This place has a small dining room that caused me some concern when we first walked in as the tables are fairly close together, but the service we received from the amazing staff soon put that concern aside. Then on came the food... wow. Absolutely amazing. We are originally from Sault Ste Marie, the city known for Italian food, but I must say... this was the best pizza I've ever eaten. We will definitely be back!

Came here for a night away as we live in Stratford. It's a 3.5 hour drive. The food was AMAZING and service was top notch! Our waitress was Paula! She was very outgoing and professional! We told her we were getting married in 2 days and she wrote congratulations message on our take home box. Definitely will be returning! It was quite busy and we did not have a reservation... but they fit us in! Make a reservation you won't be disappointed! We will definitely be back!

We ordered the deacon pizza, ribs and the king Cole duck legs. The flavours of the duck and chutney were incredibly well done. The ribs were amazing as usual, and the deacon pizza was just perfection. It was the most amazing takeout dinner I’ve ever had. Best pizza place from here to the city.

We got there right when it opened and got a seat close to the fire, this is what my boy wanted. My son is almost seven and wanted to see how pizza is really made, the guys let him see the fire and the staff was so great with him. We ate every bite of his personalized pizza and look forward to coming back for more.

Dillon's place is amazing! Was in town for a gymnastics meet and went to Dillon's for supper. We had a group of 8 and everyone was pleased with food and service. Atmosphere was incredible! Right from the moment we entered we felt welcomed and appreciated. Dillon took the time to talk with us and showed us the wood fired pizza oven. Will definitely be back!

10/5 ⭐️s if I could. We were celebrating a milestone birthday and had been recommended Dillon’s for a nice evening - We couldn’t have had a better night anywhere else, the food was INCREDIBLE and the service was the best we’ve ever had. Having spent 8 years in the restaurant industry previously, I am in awe of the special effort and attention we were lucky enough to receive from the wonderful and fun staff. Thank you very much to the team at Dillon’s for a memorable night.

Absolutely amazing in all aspects. The food was incredible. Both pizzas we ate were excellent. The desserts were excellent as well. The place is beautifully decorated and is bright and clean. All the servers are very personable and provide excellent service. This place was worth every penny! Edit: Came back a year later; just as delicious as last time! Amazing quality.

Delicious as always! Beef Carppaccio appetizer was so good. It is a vibrant and fun spot to eat and be with friends. Even saw members of The Trews here, just before their performance at the Kings Wharf Theatre

Upon arrival we were met by the owner Ricky and he went through the all the menu options. The restaurant was clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The Caesar salad was to die for and the pizza was the best we have ever had. This is wood fired pizza made with top quality ingredients. They as well offer wood fired ribs that we will try for sure the next visit there. We were both too full for desert or one of their special coffees but all looked amazing. Everything is made fresh in house. There is a pride of ownership at this restaurant which is displayed by all that work there as well as the owner. The restaurant is small so I would recommend making a reservation. The prices were very reasonable considering the quality of the food. We will be sure to return many more times. Trevor and Donna
