Grill
Le Rio Grill is a relaxed establishment famous for its slow-cooked brisket sandwiches and tender babyback ribs smothered in homemade sauces. The atmosphere is charming and cozy, making it an ideal spot to bring the family for delicious barbecue. While some portions could be more generous, others are already quite ample, so sharing a sampler meal and ordering a separate main course would suffice for couples dining there. It would be great to see an expanded selection of calamari on the menu.
What a wonderful place! We ordered fried mushrooms and half-rack ribs with baked potato. From now on this is THE rib place for us! The restaurant is clean, seating was spacious, very nicely decorated and festive. The service was excellent: Laureen was attentive, friendly and prompt. Food was excellent: hot and delicious, especially ribs: a really slow-cooked variety (not boiled commercial fast-serve). The bill was reasonable. Will definitively return - many times!

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a couple of years. Finally had another reason to make the 2 hour drive and came here for dinner. Everything was perfect. Huge portions (we all had leftovers that we had boxed up), everything tasted amazing, and timing of the courses worked well. Granted it wasnt very busy, but it was all still a great experience. Especially recommend the apple cobbler!

We were looking for great tasting baby back ribs and this place did not disappoint. Their take on it was very flavourful and tender. It comes with sweet potato fries which is also great (ask for the spicy mayo dip). Don't forget to order the french onion soup too - it was delicious too! Shoutout to our server Arianne who took really good care of us despite how busy the restaurant was.

What an amazing place to eat and have a drink. Delicious food(the ribs were soooo good!!) and a great atmosphere, an all around awesome place!
Patrice Pare — Google review
It was a nice place, very quint Nd cozy. The service was very professional without being stuffy. A great place to bring the kids and have some good barbecue. I would have liked some portions to be bigger, while at the same time some were too generous. If you are going as a couple, try one sampler meal and just take a main course on the side, will be plenty. I would like to see a few more calimars. They have a great selection of craft beer if you are into that. Deserts are not house made, I think this is very important. I would have liked to see some authentic cornbread. Just a nice place.

Horrible service, we had reservation Saturday Feb 18th at 6:45pm; 4 people (2 adults/2 teens). They put us at a table that we could barely get into, we felt terrible, we had to disturb people who were already seated eating at each of their tables on either side of our table in order to get seated. There was no room to move around, the server was not even around to help with the seating situation, our table was next to the bathroom hallway. We had to wait 20 minutes just to get water. Another family of 4 came right after us, their were served on time, paid and gone. At that time we felt in a situation of discrimination. I don't know if it was for the reason that we spoke English in a place that speaks French, who knows!! Just awful, sleepy service from start to finish was not good. Took an hour to get food(see photos), quality was fine, however we found it overpriced for this place, compared to Moe’s Restaurant food and service where we were the night before. It was a busy night at Le Rio, I get it, but worst service we have ever experienced. Go ANYWHERE else there are plenty of restaurants in this area.

Mediterranean restaurant
Restaurant Feliciano Apportez Votre Vin BYOB offers an intimate setting with ornate mirrors and a leafy terrace, providing Mediterranean and French tasting menus. Guests have praised the delicious food, including goat cheese salad, chicken, duck, scallops, and bread. The ambiance is described as great, especially when dining outside with beautiful landscape and trees. While some found the staff more business-oriented than friendly, others highlighted the excellent service provided by waitstaff like Patricia and Annabelle.
Annabelle's flawless service at the restaurant Feliciano made our evening truly special. The food was exquisite, and the atmosphere added to the perfect dining experience. Highly recommended!

The wait waa unbelievable, we waited over 1h between courses. For a restaurant of this stature. The food was just ok. In genera,l i was disappointed 😔😔😔

Reception and atmosphere are great assets of this restaurant. Minus stars are because the Osso buco and bavette were below average in term of taste. Wouldn't come back.

What a gem of a restaurant! Our waitress, Naomi, gave us exceptional service and great recommendations. The squid appetizer was grilled perfectly and the mushroom risotto very creamy and rich. Plus it's a BYOB restaurant which is an added bonus for me! I keep sending people to this restaurant and they all tell me that the food and service is always fantastic!

Went last night I had made a mistake with the reservation and our lovely waitress Patricia found room for us ( un gros merci!!!) food was so good , the goat cheese salad, the chicken, the duck, the scallops even the bread simply yuum! Excellent service and ambiance we will be back!

Upset this weekend with what is usually my favourite restaurant. Made reservations 3 weeks ago online for 7:15pm meal for 3 ladies (mother’s day). We were told upon arrival that we would be eating OUTSIDE on a 7-8 degree night. We were all wearing sandals for our evening and we’re not dressed nor prepared for an outdoor experience. Tried to plead our case but got a flat out no from the manager. We ended up eating a great meal at Piment Thaï instead…. INSIDE!

Terrible service from a young man. Excellent service from a Latin men (don’t know their names). Besides, they reduce a lot the menu because we were a group of 10, and beside this reduction of menu, some items on the menu were not available ?! Also, there were 2 plates on the child menu that was unavailable ?! And the bad waiter (the young man) didn’t even mentioned it to us when he handed us the menu, but once our choice was made…. Very disappointing service, way too much expensive for the overall experience.

A delightful 'bring your own wine' restaurant off the main in St-Sauveur with selections both on and beside the menu for a discerning palate. No pretentiousness - just a relaxed and comfortable spot to lose oneself and come away fully satisfied. Reservations are recommended.

Extremely slow service. Came at 7pm on a Monday night. We didn’t get out till 10pm. Main course came after 2 hours. Food: the rice in my seafood with Sambuca was dry and tasted like it was reheated. Risotto had some rice not cooked well, tasted raw. Fries that came with the kids meal also seems reheated as these were so over fried. Definitely not worth the prices. If the kitchen cannot keep up, then have fewer people in the restaurant.

2 tables put together were not equal thus my wife ate on 2 levels,1 table not stable. Pasta overcooked. Asked for tisane received tea. Tiny shelled? Unopened needed tool ,tool was for clams. Price Quality not there

Un excellent souper! Food was amazing, atmosphere was great...we ate outside with the beautiful landscape and trees. Service was on cue, but we found the staff was more business oriented and less friendly. Was nice to bring your own wine!
Dan Gen — Google review
The octopus was amazing but that’s as far as it goes. Although the meal portions were big the food was not worth bragging about. The waitress that served us spent more time entertaining her friends at a neighborhood table than spending time going around to satisfy other paying customers: even spotted her sipping wine from friends table. Gordon Ramsey would not have been impressed that evening

Restaurant
Bistro Orange & pamplemousse offers a tranquil space with health-conscious, fusion cuisine and an organic wine list. It's a beautiful spot for a date, providing a quiet and comfortable vibe. The crepe bretonne is good, but the benedictine is recommended for its appealing look and great taste. The staff is kind and accommodating to vegan options. The portions are perfect, the prices are fair, and the desserts are delicious.
Amazing little spot. We loved dinner so much we returned for breakfast. Nice sized portions, and the plates were works of art ! Service was also great. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment.

This is a beautiful spot to sit on a date with your partner. Very aesthetically appealing and offers a quiet comfortable vibe. My girlfriend got the crêpe bretonne. I got the bénédictine. I would definitely recommend the bénédictine over the crêpe bretonne. It looks way more appealing to the eye and taste as good as it looks. Now we know for next time what to take. The fruits in my plate are edible, but not really tasty. That’s the only downside, is that they probably put them as decoration more than food. Their coffee latte is great. My girlfriend got a chai latte and it was disappointing. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely better than the average commercial breakfast spot. Just pick your plates wisely ✌🏽😎

Saw they had crêpes and other menu items that can be done Vegan. I ordered a Vegan Crêpe, waitress said it has grilled bell pepper, mushrooms, a few leaves of spinach & onions. After bringing my plate( refer to photo), the waitress asked if anyone would like some peanut butter (sounded like it was offered). I said Yea for the peanut butter since my crepe looked small and not enough. When the bill came my Vegan crepe was as expensive as the Chicken Crêpe that had chicken and Cheese. It definitely makes no sense to pay $22 for a crêpe with veggies and on top an extra $1.35 for 1 tbs of peanut butter. Won’t eat there again. Besides that the service was great.

I love, love, love Orange & pamplemousse. Hubby and I have been for breakfast and dinner and have never been disappointed. Their food is delicious and reasonably priced. I follow a Celiac diet and have complete confidence in their ability to serve me gluten free food.

Excellent Place ! I cannot describe how good was this place . Since the beginning staff was very kind, helpful and made us feel comfortable and relaxed. Very accommodating for vegan options and everything was just delicious. Portions are perfect and price is fair for what you get . The desserts are just to die for as well for their drinks were tasty and not too sweet . Cannot wait to go back to st-sauveur and go back to orange et pamplemousse. I love their concept and how almost everything on the menu kind of matches with the name and the logo

Nice bistro and well decorated. It serves breakfast and late lunch. Nice wine selection. Good size in plates. Friendly service. Outdoor seating with view on the street. Parking in the back. You can't ask for more. Definitely a place to try!

My wife had the pasta and liked-it. I had the vegetarian burger and it was unusual, but not the best I've ever had let alone made. Plating was amazing though, and I often try food that is unusual, which means sometimes I won't like everything, doesn't mean it's not good. Desert was Sublime Chocolate cake, which was a bit too sweet for us. The cocktail was pretty good, with alchool subtle enough that it was not overpowering, yet a very interesting assortment of flavors. Service was quick enough, but there wasn't many customers, which might've made a difference. The person that took the reservation was a bit stiff, but efficient and made-it happen. Also, it is noteworthy to say he did take the reservation out of opening hours. I can see how some reviewers might take offense to the way they were answered, but there are clear indications on the website as to when they take reservations and when they don't. Also, I'm pretty sure the chef is the one taking the reservations off-hours, which means he probably had lots to do before the open and in those circumstances, I would be somewhat stiff too. Not very expensive, though some choices would have been more than others. Plates are very complete, even for 15.50 or 16$, not hungry anymore, that's for sure.

Amazing menu, lots of tasty but health-conscious choices. Beautifully presented and excellent service. The attention to detail is fantastic - I love the orange flavoured whipped cheese to spread on the warm, precut bread. The vibe was incredibly warm and cosy, great for a romantic dinner out if you’re staying up north for a little getaway. Highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back!

Restaurant
Lola 45 is a charming and rustic-chic venue that offers refined, seasonal New Canadian cuisine along with a cozy bar area. The menu features interesting and creative dishes bursting with flavors, although it may be a bit complicated to navigate without listed prices. The oysters are particularly praised for their freshness and affordability. The restaurant's location is beautiful and well-situated, offering a great view of the church from the terrace. The wine menu is extensive, catering to various price points.
Salute for the exceptional services quality and welcoming. I ordered the salmon gravlax as an appetizer and squid after, very tasty. I highly recommend!

One of the best spots in St sauveur! The dishes were all delicious with an excellent mix of flavors and perfectly portioned. The cod was so buttery it melted in your mouth, definitely our favorite. Their drink selection was also great with local original beers and orange wines. Finally the restaurant is very cute and perfect for a date night...make sure you get a spot in the front patio!

Went here for a friend's birthday last weekend and the expectations did not disappoint! Let's start with the atmosphere. The restaurant is the perfect blend of cozy, romantic , and chic. The staff is super friendly and attentive as well as knowledgeable and answered any questions we had about the menu and which drinks they would recommend. We didn't do the tasting menu but I would love to try next visit. All the food was amazing 10 out of 10 would recommend! I shall attach a few pictures I took alas a few of them didn't make it to my camera as I was too busy hoovering the delectable fare into my mouth 😆

Wonderful service and great view of church on terrace. Our waiter named Mathieu was impeccable and friendly. Our entrées were superb: beets with honey and feta and tender squid with popped rice with cashew sauce= both delectable. My bavette de boeuf was charred but good with its bearnaise sauce. Two other sauces were a bit too sour. His veal was a bit too hard to chew but the waiter didn't hesitate to replace it by another dish. Instead he had the broadsword (espadon) which was tender and had a beefy or steaky consistency like tuna with a fresh coriander sauce: delicious! The grilled veggies were succulent and all dishes were well presented (see photos). Our dessert was the artisanal lavender ice cream that had a pleasant flavour but could have been sweeter. All in all a pleasant experience in our hometown of Sauveur.

Great experience The tasting menu is of great quality and for the price it's a good option. You really taste a lot of different unique elements. Also worth to pair it with wine selection for 55$ more. The vibe is good, perfect for a date ;)

I was here for a Valentine’s Day meal. We sat at the bar because that’s what was available and we were very comfortable and had the pleasure of meeting another lovely couple. We had Caesar salad and octopus to start and our main was sweetbreads and arctic chard. Each dish came with its unique creamy sauce. Dessert was 2 pieces of fudge and don’t remember the details of was in it but it was the real deal.

The food is great! Especially the oysters! They are so fresh and the price is affordable!! And as for the menu, is kind of complicated, I have read over 3 times and there’s no list of price, but the food was really good but pricy~ And make sure you book your table before you go, otherwise you will stand there for over 15-20 min for they to find your seat. Overall the experience is great! The owner are very professional and very friendly. Recommend

The best night out, the smell, presemtation and taste of their food is to die for! Great service and atmosphere. Had good drinks, red wine and tried oysters, deer tartare, beets and fried gnocchi. That gnocchi dish check all the boxes. A little pricey, but all worth it. Beautiful streets to walk around. Parking at the back.

We’ll try to get back again may more often but being from NY state is quite a drive to get in St Sauveur but when we get definitely one of the restaurants will be Lola 45. It is a must… 2023-Great food and atmosphere. Entire team was very attentive but Ian was very friendly and took care of us very well. Appetizers were good size and nice presentation. Entrees were super delicious and different then any I had before. We’ll go back with next trip.

Even the music being played here was perfect for the atmosphere. Make a reservation. This has got to be one of the best restaurants in St Sauveur. 100% recommend. Crêperie Bretonne is a charming country kitchen that offers a delightful dining experience with its picturesque patio and an array of delectable crêpes, savory fondues, and raclette. The menu features options like French onion soup, cheese fondue with white wine, and mouthwatering crepes such as the Nutella strawberry and ice cream variety. It's a great spot for families as kids can enjoy watching the crepes being made.
Very cute and lots of tables. Really delicious food, good service. Only issue is that it was getting HOT at the table with two fondues. Cracked a window open for some fresh air

Very nice and cozy atmosphere. Waitress was fine however the food was very expensive for what you get. They give you a massive crepe with the ingredients sloped in there for you to figure out how to eat it. Whipped cream was almost $7 extra, $3 extra just for onions... they literally put a whole sausage in the crepe not even cut. Cost was $75 for two crepes and two cappuccinos.

This was my first time here. To be honest, my husband was the one who wanted to eat here more than I. It's offers Fondue, salads, soups and of course crêpes. Even before you walk in, it smells wonderful. It looks nice from the outside. The inside could use some change. As I looked at the menu, I saw they offered vegetable soup. We both ordered a bowl of vegetable soup. It was absolutely delicious. I don't remember when was the last time I ate soup that tasted so good. And I am quite a good cook. Then I ordered a Caesar salad, and my husband had a Coquille St-Jacques. My salad was also very, even though the presentation was not that great. As to my husband's meal, he wasn't really satisfied with the flavor and texture. I don't like seafood or fish, so I couldn't really tell if he was right. His comment was that it wasn't creamy enough, and it lacked flavor. The service was nice and it was somewhat busy.

Amazing crepes in a nice atmosphere. I have been a regular there for many years and I always enjoy their food. The French onion soup is the best around and the crepes are a perfect blend of sweet salty and crispy. Their cheese fondue with a little white wine is perfect for sharing with the table and the Raclette is delicious. The Nutella strawberry and ice cream crepe (pictured here) is my favorite desert. If you have children, they will definitely enjoy watching the crepes being made. The way the chef makes them is a real art.
