Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is a welcoming haven with comfortable living quarters, delectable dining options, three golf courses, and a spa. The resort boasts natural hot springs that offer ample space for children to play and admire the stunning mountainous views. There are two restaurants on site, Bear's Paw Bar & Grill and Antlers at the Lodge; the former is highly recommended as it offers delicious food at reasonable prices.
I've been going to Fairmont Hot Springs my entire life! This place is amazing, the water in the pool is clean and fresh! The location is absolutely perfect for all seasons, spring, summer, fall and winter! They continue to update the the resort yet maintain the look and feel of its heritage! I highly recommend bringing the entire family, the kids love the big water slide and the swim time while we enjoy soaking in the hot pools. The dining is moderately priced so the whole family can enjoy wonderful meals without breaking the bank. Keep up the great work Fairmont! The room was comfy and clean! Very nice!

They don’t accept public swim and if you stay there you have access. We ended up buying a membership , I think it was roughly $60 for the family. The pool can hold up to 400 people. They separate the pools from very hot, to warm pool and a 10ft deep pool. It wasn’t that busy and we stayed a couple hours until in was dark. There is a beautiful scenery of the mountains. Would definitely come back. Also the change rooms are spacious and very clean

The service and amenities at this resort have been declining over the last few years. They are “improving” the pools. I don’t see the improvement. All the pools have a rough bottom and sides now. Also, the diving boards have been removed for years with no end in sight for them to be reinstalled. They were a great source of fun for the kids, and entertainment for the adults. All the while, pool admission costs have been steadily increasing. The resort rooms haven’t been upgraded for 20 years or more, but the price keeps going up. Now they even charge a resort fee. When challenging things like this on social media, they will delete your comments. And if you press more, they just ban you. I have been going to Fairmont Hot Springs Resort one to three times a year for the last 30 years, and no more. Save your money and go to the Fairmont Mountain Bungalows for a cheaper and better experience.

First time at this resort. We spent 2 nights. Plenty of room options, they have cabins for rent and RV camping as well. We stayed in the lodge with a mountain view but I would get pool view next time, much nicer view. Resort is also dog friendly. Rooms are really nice and comfortable. Only downside was there was only 1 restaurant open for dinner and breakfast while we were there. Sunday and Monday are not optimal days for dining as a lot of restaurants in the resort and in town are closed. Hot pools are great. Resort is clean and spacious.

Amenities are what stuck out for us. Great coats house coats provided to wear yo the hot springs pool. Hot springs were quiet and wonderful. The pub was great, food was excellent and reasonable priced. Rooms were a bit dated but our room has an exterior door to a grassy area which was very nice and we had the cheapest room. I would repeat visit.

Love this place, I have been coming to Fairmont for years. Love the area and the mineral pools. They haven't changed much in the last 35 years. The place is getting a bit run down. They removed the diving boards from the pool. They were so much fun when I was a kid.

Love their hospitality, staffs are friendly and professional. The room are clean, the pool is not too crowded. The ski hill are best for family and kids to take lessons and enjoy our day. Smallest hill we have been to but most fun for our kids. Thank you for make our trip are enjoyable. Will be back.

We enjoyed a family trip here last spring and had good enough time to return this year for another trip. The hotel is a little dated, but it was clean and beds were comfortable. The food was good bit a bit basic but tasted good and there was nice service. We had the kitchenette and decided to do only breakfasts and lunches in the room this trip and not attempt to do supper, it's a bit too simple for us to enjoy using it for more complex meals. If the hotel was all modernized and fancier, then the price would go up. We are happy with the value we're getting and really, it's the hot springs we come for.

Very beautiful resort! Love the classic look and cabin feel, landscaping is gorgeous! We had to wait a very long time to check in, and the girl at the desk took the family behind us first which was frustrating. It was a very slow process considering you can't check in until 4 (most places are 3), and we didn't get our keys until 5:30. LOVE the pools though, and restaurant and pool staff are very professional and friendly. We had to call down for a kettle (even though they provide tea), and it took over an hour to get it. We could also hear people constantly loudly scraping their patio chairs at 0630. The beds are very comfortable though, and those robes are so soft and cozy! Lots of Canadian festivities for the long weekend which we loved, especially the live music and delicious cake! Very cool area and beautiful mountain views. I would like to experience the private pool next time, as it was closed, even for the holiday weekend.

The resort itself is showing its age, however nothing to complain about due to its location and remoteness. Resort is clean, rooms are large and with high ceiling. The hot spring pool dedicated for hotel guests is clean, nice, and warm. There is also a separate "public pool" available for general public, but check their website or call the resort in case if there's any closure or maintenance. View is nice for standard Canadian Rockies. Note: the doors are not quite sound proof, so you may want to ask for a room further away from halls, entry point, or stairs. Also note, the name of the town is "Fairmont Hot Springs" but this property is NOT a Fairmont Hotel property.
Tim Chu — Google review
Staff at checkin were friendly and efficient. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. The hotsprings were warm, and they were not too busy (stayed mid-week). The food options are limited and quite overpriced. The views of the mountains are 10/10. Overall, it's a fine place to stay. As other reviewers mentioned, the property itself is dated and it is a bit surprising that Fairmont ha not invested in substantial upgrades in a location with sick potential.

Fairmont is a great, family friendly resort. We spent two nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Rooms were small and dated (no microwaves), but clean and cozy. There are 2 restaurants on site, we tried both and definitely preferred Bear's Paw Bar & Grill over Antlers at the Lodge. Antlers was overpriced with bland food. Hot spring pools are huge with plenty of room for kids to splash around without offending anyone. The mountains and scenery from the pools is breathtaking! The resort also has daily activities for kids like chocolate making workshops etc. and free mini golf rentals. We would stay here again!
Danielle Harshenin — Google review
The Good: 1. The views are breathtaking. The resort is surrounded by mountains. 2. The food served at the two restaurants at the resort was quite good. 3. 24 hour helpful check in staff. 4. The room had a mini fridge and a microwave. 5. Holiday appropriate decorations so the children liked it. The So So: 1. The rooms are a bit dated but overall not too bad. 2. No safe to lock up your valuables. 3. The design of the overall hotel was a bit strange and confusing but we got used to it. The Bad: 1. The food at the resort was outrageously expensive. 2. The games room was closed and could not be opened by staff. 3. The bathroom sink was dirty. 4. A lot of unexpected fees added on to the bill. 5. None of the vending machines functioned properly.

Our stay at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort was nothing short of amazing! The accommodations were luxurious and comfortable, the amenities were outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction. The breathtaking surroundings and abundance of activities made it a truly memorable and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended!

We had a one night stay here. Rooms are comfortable and food is good. But the reason I would return and recommend this place to others is the exceptional and friendly service we received by all staff we encountered. Specific shout-out to Renee and Nancy at the front desk who were beyond helpful to us and went the extra mile to assist us with a unique situation we presented to them. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt supported all the way. Thank you!
Donna Wood — Google review
We had a great time here but for a place that has hot springs & pools, one would expect there to be hooks to hang up towels & swimsuits. In addition, the staircase to the loft was definitely a bit dangerous. Luckily our upstairs teens were old enough to navigate with no problem.

I was super apprehensive when I rolled up to the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, because I had read that the closing times were 6pm for the hot springs. I was quickly relieved to find out the main hot springs were open until 9pm, and then “guest only” one was open until 10 (image below is of the smaller guest hot spring). The entrance was beautifully decorated for Christmas. They snow plowed every inch of the place to ensure you can navigate and leave easily. Our bodies get heavenly after relaxing in the hot springs. The staff were all so friendly and helpful with our questions. We also saw lots of deer roaming around the property. The hot springs were very large and not crowded at all, we had lots of space for ourselves. The views of the mountains surrounding the pools were breathtaking. Comfy robes and towels were provided in our room.

This is a cool place to visit alone, as a couple or with the family. If you have people coming from out of town or out of the country, it is a good trip to show what the country has to offer. It's probably best to go in the summer, but fall or early winter is also a win as the hot springs counter the cold effect. It has great views, and early bookings are recommended if you are staying at the property.
Gee Da'Grey — Google review
The resort is under new management and things are changing - which isn't necessarily bad. Rooms are being renovated. It used to be more family friendly and now I find it more resort-based. Meals are expensive, but filling and plates are full. Food is tasty.

If I could rate this hotel 0 stars I would. I’m actually shocked they are allowed to operate as a Fairmont. This place is old, dated, overpriced and a complete dump. Check in is for 4 pm and waited almost an hour for our room. Front staff could care less and tell you to wait. It’s clear they are understaffed as there is literally no one anywhere on the resort and everyone looks miserable. Rooms are old and gross. The bathrooms are the worst. For a place that rakes in so much money you would think they would update the place but nope. You are literally paying $200 a night for the “hot spring” pool which is a fenced off area with no seating and zero room for your stuff. Our room had no robes or pool towels, the bath towels were dirty and stained. Upon checking out they couldn’t give me a receipt (paper or email) and literally had one person who was “trainee” working solo at 7 am. Restaurant is extremely over priced and lacks options. $16 for a kids meal? Ridiculous. We stayed here as part of a group and would never willingly stay here again. Save your money and book elsewhere.

We came to Fairmont Hot Springs a couple months ago and thought Mineral Mountain Ziplines would be a fun activity to start off the day. We had Bongo and Rainman as our guides and they were incredibly engaging and knowledgeable. By the end of it even the most anxious of people in our group was enjoying it and sad it was done! I would HIGHLY recommend this as something to do near Invermere or Fairmont Hot Springs!

Mineral Mountain is at the top of our best zipline experience list. The owner has every detail factored, safety is #1 and the guides are well trained. Add in their interpersonal skills - Kendra and Lucas made every aspect fun, interesting and comfortable. The equipment checks, communication from tower to tower make a sense of safety a given. It was exceptionally hot, and they went above our expectations to help us. Loved this line. Fun! Fun! Fun! Madelon and Dennis

What a great experience. We had a mid day appointment and ended up all by ourselves for our session. Each crew member was friendly and helped us with instructions and also information about the area. The views from the zip lines were fantastic. This place is highly recommended. Thanks for a great afternoon.

We recently visited Mineral Mountain Ziplines and had a great experience! Instructors Willie and Weatherman were especially helpful in explaining safety procedures and proper use of the zipline. Willie in particular was patient, friendly, funny and made sure the zipline experience was fun and stress free! Weatherman's knowledge and enthusiasm for the sport and scenery evident and he made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe. Additionally, the scenery and views were stunning and amazing. Overall we had a great experience and would highly recommend Mineral Mountain Zipline to anyone looking for adventure❤️

100% recommend! I had two terrific zipline tour guides (Freya and Chloe), and both were extremely welcoming, friendly and professional. It was evident they knew what they were doing, and made everyone feel safe. Cannot recommend this place and the two tour guides, Freya and Chloe, enough!

Great zipline experience, it's worth the price. Go early to beat the heat and crowds. It's a lot of fun and enjoy the final line which gives you great views of the valley. Took my 9-year-old with me, she did great. The guides were fun and knew their stuff. Absolutely recommend.

My friends and I had SUCH a blast here a couple days ago! Everybody was so patient (SERIOUSLY patient considering that we arrived embarrassingly late from traffic), and was very helpful with directions, setting up, etc. David and Chrissy were so much fun and did an excellent job of making everyone feel comfortable and super safe. PS Hope David had an awesome birthday! :)

From Scratch: A Mountain Kitchen prioritizes collaborating with local suppliers and utilizing seasonal ingredients to deliver exceptional flavors. The menu is diverse, fully-licensed, and offers both nourishing and exquisite options. They serve breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, as well as convenient "ready-to-heat" takeaway meals. Although the description might seem compacted here, it's worth noting that their breakfast portions are substantial and expertly prepared.
I am so glad we've stopped at this little place. It is not fancy by any means but it is a small and cozy family restaurant. The reason for 5 stars is the food. As advertised outside it is made from scratch and the results are evident. Very tasty food and it can be seen that the owners take pride in their work. From the fire oven used to bake the various breads till the well crafted dishes everything is done manually from scratch. We loved every dish served, the labneh, meatballs, and the lentil soup that was filling, with a nice hint of spices and soothing all at the same time. Next time we are in the area we will stop again for sure.

A tad bit scrunched in here, but well-worth the sacrifice in space to enjoy HUGE portions of perfectly cooked breakfast! The pancakes are so thick that they really are cakes! They are rich in flavour and come topped with LOADS of fresh whipped cream! The Salmon Eggs Benedict come with hashbrowns that are perfectly cooked potatoes. The eggs are served in a multi grain sourdough bread that just melt in your mouth. I am sure that the patio is great in the Summer. I will have to try that out sometime.

We weren’t sure what to expect from a restaurant in a small mountain town but this place blew us away! We had the chicken dinner and the whole meal was perfection. Still dreaming of those mashed potatoes! We followed it up with carrot cake for dessert and it was absolutely delicious. I love supporting a business like this with sweet owners who put time, thought and love into every meal. Definitely give this place a try!

Wow, this place has the best breakfast/brunch and wonderful service. They were able to accommodate 12 of us on a busy holiday morning (family day) and provided prompt, friendly and efficient service. I thoroughly enjoyed the salmon & potato cake - full of flavor! I added a poached egg for a delightful meal. Our entire party loved their meals and look forward to coming back again!

After reading some reviews, I'll be honest; I was expecting more. This place was definitely rustic and fresh, but had an issue with the prices and the lack of attention to detail of the order. Two people I was with ordered Penne and meatballs and sadly received rotini and both people didn't like the sauce. The meatballs were healthy portions and the fire roasted pizza was good except the thick and slightly undercooked ham on top. I had a healthy sized hamburger and enjoyed that thoroughly, but my fries were soggy and clumped together. Unfortunately Fairmont Hot Springs had very limited options to eat in town so this place stands out for some convenient reasons.

Fantastic staff and amazingly delicious pizzas made in wooden oven. Wow! We could not stop eating. We ordered the mushroom pizza and added chicken to it. It was one of the best pizzas of my life. The crust was perfect! So happy we found this place on our way back from hot springs. Also they have a great jam selection. I bought the sour cherry honey jam, and I tell you, the breakfast next morning was also a very awesome experience! The chocolate mousse and chocolate caramel salted tart were also great.

Great breakfast place. They have great ingredients and make from scratch. Very good pancakes. They were thick style but were extremely fluffy and light. There eggs benne was good. They have gluten free options as well. They had a nice jam for the toast too. Their desserts are amazing too.

Mixed emotions on the food, it was tasty but not. We ordered the burger, chicken sandwich, Thai curry, poutine, garlic bread and the veggie burger, all have their own unique taste. Their buns were very fresh and fluffy. Our waiter was nice and knowledgeable. They make their own food from scratch, hence the name. The place is welcoming
Season Greetings — Google review
Pros: Service was outstanding. They were very attentive and helpful at understanding the menu. Portions were on the larger side. Fries were amazing and both the burger meat and pulled pork were great. Kids loved the Mac and Cheese, they inhaled it. Cons (but not the worst type of cons): Salmon was quite overdone to our liking and needed salt or something. Buns were impressive looking but on the dry side. Shredded cheese on poutine, not curds. Pumpkin soup was basically broth. We told the server about the salmon and buns and they said they’d let the chef know. It’s pricey, but the effort was there and we were happy to support local while on a little getaway trip.
Dan Smith — Google review
This is an amazing little restaurant!!! The service is great and the food super fresh! The Roasted Beet & Goat Cheese Salad was super tasty and the Pumpkin Chocolate Cheesecake was to die for! We are going again for brunch tomorrow. Don’t mind the salad photo, I had started to eat it before I took a picture 🤪

Barpa Bill's at Tony's Greek Grill offers delectable, recently prepared Hellenic cuisine. Patrons who visited for lunch were highly satisfied with the exceptional quality of the fare. One customer mentioned that it was the finest Greek food they had enjoyed in quite a while. The al fresco picnic tables proved to be ideal for families seeking a communal midday meal. The ambiance was pleasant and inviting, making it an excellent choice for those with children.
Delicious, freshly made Greek food! We stopped in for lunch and we’re very impressed with how good the food was! My husband said it was the best Greek food he has had in a long time. The outdoor picnic tables were perfect for a family lunch. A really nice atmosphere! And a great family friendly location.

I stopped by Barpa Bill's at Tony's Greek Grill for lunch, and it did not disappoint. I ordered the gyro pita with fries, and everything was fresh and hot. The gyro was absolutely delicious and had a great flavour. The fries were also very tasty and I enjoyed the seasoning and tzatziki sauce for dipping as an alternative to ketchup. In speaking with the family that's running the restaurant now (who ran Barpa Bill's in Banff until they retired), they were asked by their good friend Tony to run the business following his retirement. The family missed running their business so much but also wanted to be able to enjoy their retirement that this opportunity was perfect for them as it allowed them to be able to do both (prepare amazing food for 3-3.5 months a year while enjoying their retirement the rest of the year). I'm sure glad they are and I look forward to having more great Greek food while visiting Fairmont Hot Springs.

Delicious food, good view if you sit outside, quick and friendly service. Portions are a little smaller compared to other Greek places we've been to/similar price, but for the area it's an excellent place to eat!

Every summer we go many times, always good! It was starting to slip a bit a few years back, but now Barpa Bills is running it, great food, great service, friendly guy who brought us out our food (Maybe Barpa Bill??). Try the basket of fries, it comes with tzatziki!

We went for a late dinner. Service was good. All 4 of us ordered the gyros. The pita bread was dry and hard like it was sitting on the semi-warm grill for a long time. Meat was tasty but definitely overseasoned. It's been almost 30 minutes since eating and my mouth is still buzzing from the salt. Won't be going back.

Just had a lovely dinner with our family. The Pitas were fantastic. Fresh veggies and a super tasty tatziki sauce. The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The owners were so great with our young son. Can't wait to come back.

Prices are ridiculous. Lady taking orders does not give the business a good face. Rolled her eyes at my mom while she stepped away from the counter to grab a drink from their cooler. After paying we realized our ticket was much higher than it should’ve been. When we asked the lady for a detailed receipt she followed us out of the door asking if we had a problem. After telling her we did she justified the extra charges as paying for “their service”. The machine we ran our card through had a tip option. So why would you charge us for service at all, none the less before you give us service?? Outside seating was nice but signs were marked everywhere giving directions, which personally I see as tacky. Besides the lady, the younger gentleman bringing us out our food and cleaning the tables was very polite. They will and did, take advantage of travelers. Decent food but too bad it’s overpriced and lacks any type of quality service. Will not be back.

Mountainside Golf Course is a picturesque 18-hole course located in Fairmont Hot Springs, offering stunning views of the Columbia Valley. The course winds through mature pine and spruce trees, providing a challenging yet beautiful setting for golfers. While it may offer less variety compared to Riverside Golf Course, Mountainside is well-maintained and provides a relatively relaxing round with accommodating staff. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition, making it an enjoyable experience for golf enthusiasts.
One of my favorite golf courses. Be sure to aim for the up side of the hill!
Davin Gegolick — Google review
A group of us (12 guys) booked this golf course as part of a golf weekend. So, let me start with the positives (and there are not many): The people working the snack bar and pro shop were great. We had a easy check-in and we had nothing but a positive experience with these specific people. The starter, who was put in a bad situation by the marshal (see below) was great. He did his best to accommodate us and did a good job at that. Now, the negatives. 1. Marshal – we have a guy who plays barefoot. Typically this is not a issues at any course I have ever played. The marshal had a HUGE issue with this. So much so he was willing to forfeit all our green fees and potential revenue from alcohol sales. This guy who had to be in late 60’s was a total d-bag. Our friend agreed to wear sandals but this same marshal once again was a d-bag and preferred to give us our money back even though the course allows open toe spikeless golf sandals. Get over yourself marshal! 2. Food – what food. You would think this golf course would have more than three sandwiches and hot dogs available knowing there is a group of 12 guys coming. No food available – what a joke! At least the beer was cold I guess. 3. Ground Hogs – there were 100’s of them all over the course! Clean that up for gods sake. You green fees weren’t cheap and this is just a total embarrassment for your course, membership and people living around your course. 4. Pace of Play – so we were three foursomes playing best ball. So pace should not have been bad – and it wasn’t. But the course sent 2 twosomes out behind our last group who kept hitting up on our guys. Really? You couldn’t have started these clowns on number 9 knowing there are three foursomes ahead playing together? Great course management! Lastly, there were so many negatives that out weighed the positives that this group will NEVER play this course again! Thank you to the staff who made it bearable and to the others – please move on. Your doing this course a HUGE disservice.
David Lachance — Google review
October 2022 Review This course may offer less variety of terrain and sights perhaps than the Riverside course but is quite beautiful and in great shape in its own right. Played it three times recently in September and early October and it wasn’t overly busy which allowed for a relatively relaxing round. Generally the staff are very accommodating and friendly. On the back nine of the second round I played we were asked to pick up the pace by the course Marshall. We weren’t playing particularly slow but there were a few groups behind us so I was okay with him asking us to pick it up a bit as they have their job to do, but then he followed us closely for the next three holes by which time we were well ahead of the trailing groups so it felt like unnecessary harassment. He finally left us alone when one of our group asked him if he was going to follow us all the way in and he finally decided to leave us alone. Aside from this incident I have enjoyed the course and will continue to play it. October 2023 Review I play this course several times a year, typically in the spring and fall when in the area and I always enough this tough test. The course was in great shape in September when I played it last. The clubhouse staff is always friendly and accommodating. The course itself was in good shape heading into the fall. The bunkers are the one feature this course could improve on. There is a lot of weeds and grass in many of them. the greens were in good condition, outside of the elk tracks on a couple and the course seems to be decently maintained.
Bruce Brown — Google review
These pretentious folks believe golf shoes are the make or break for golf etiquette. Wanted to deny someone entry because the marshal didn’t like his sandals. His sandals. This was a group of 12 that will NEVER be back. No restaurant, $9 garbage sandos, the place is absolutely infested with gophers. Much larger risk of breaking my ankle in a gopher hole that any hazard our friend could have encountered in sandals. Not sure where that marshal thinks he works but take a minute and pull your head out bud. Nice power trip though marshal. The rest of the staff was actually great but one guy made it so 12 won’t be back.

Ok. So. There are dandelions in the fairway. Which is fine. But sometimes you could hit the fairway and your ball would be sat down in what played like rough. Cause it was rough. The greens are so slow as they were recently punched. Hole 15 might be the worst golf hole I have ever seen in my entire life. The front 9 was ok. Also beware the amature golfer who slices. They had many "villas" within slice Range for righty golfers. (We didnt hit anything but I wouldn't be surprised if they get hit all the time) I gave them 3 stars instead of two because we paid a twilight rate of 53$ Also I'm pretty sure our turn dogs were microwaved. Anyway. If you enjoy golf. Play copper point. And play radium springs. They will not disappoint

Beautiful course that is compromised by the aggressive and predatory behavior of the one course marshall. Can not safely bring family members to this course without the risk of being continuously harassed throughout your round.
Taylor Foreman — Google review
This is a fun and friendly course that's been at Fairmont since the early days of the resort. Full length, with a few tricky holes that are particularly unique and challenging. I've played here for decades and it is still evolving and improving. My only minor complaint this time is the 85000 gophers and gopher holes, mainly on the south end.
Steve Weisner — Google review
I have always had a beautiful day of play here and the course is always in immaculate shape.
Lisa Cochrane — Google review
Wasn’t a fan, to start I was there 35 mins before my tee time and was rushed out without practice for no reason by the starter, tee box grass was almost 2nd cut it was so long, the bunkers had so many weeds it looked like my front lawn, looks like they haven’t been raked since opening day. The fairways were over run by gophers. Only good thing I could take away was the weather was nice. For the money I would just save it and go to eagle ranch or the Radium springs course.
Andrew Page — Google review
The old man working on Sunday, Sep 3rd wearing a orange shirt at this course is rude and grumpy for no reason. The rest of staff were friendly, but that one inidividual.. WOW what is his problem. No good reason to go here. There are many other great courses in the area.

My personal favorite course on the Columbia Valley Golf Trail. Not a conventional course, but worth the time. Friendly staff and a nice restaurant. If you are looking for mountain golf, this is the place for you

I truly enjoyed playing this challenging course and found the fairways and greens to be in excellent shape. I would have given the course 5 stars except the marshall starting us was very annoying.

Bar & grill
During our stay, we indulged in delicious dinners at the Bears Paw Bar & Grill. Their Fish & Chip dish was absolutely delightful! Additionally, on our final morning, we treated ourselves to a satisfying breakfast at the Anters located within the Lodge.
The overall experience was fine. Nice dining space. We had dinner, and it was tasty and fulfilling. The only thing I’d say is that the food was pretty standard. No surprise, not bad.
Dozer Ponsonby — Google review
I do not recommend the Pad Thai. It had almost no flavour. Thai Express makes better tasting food for half the price. On the plus side the ambience and Hazy IPA was good.
Dalton — Google review
Food was good and prepared as requested. This is not the first time we have been to this restaurant and yet it was the same as last time. The waitresses are very rude get upset when you ask them for things such as ketchup, extra napkins, refills on drinks, and other things like that. Being there feels very uncomfortable and unwelcoming especially if your from out of province. I would expect alot more for the very high food prices especially since we were staying at the "resort" and supposed to be having a relaxing getaway. Terrible service! The waitresses actually got together looked at me and started laughing because i made a simple math error adding the tip to the total. If I could go back in time there would have been no tip to add to the total!!!!

We are staying at the hotel here with our dog and we ordered takeout on the phone. The service was amazing and very quick, we went to pick up our food in about 15 minutes. They even gave us the local beer to go. I do not recommend ordering the Pad Thai as it did not taste good and we did not end up finishing it. The soup of the day was alright, but we've had better ones before. The kids cream pasta and the Chicken Naan Club were amazing and I totally recommend to order those! Since there aren't many options to eat at the resort itself and some of the places in town are closed on certain days, I would recommend this restaurant to expand their menu to a variety everyone-friendly items that aren't all fast-foodie. As well, it would be nice if dogs were allowed at the small patio at the Antlers at least, since there are a lot of guests with dogs that can't go eat at the restaurant.

I was looking forward to going here. The experience was disappointing. I ordered a Caesar drink; the best thing about that was the pickle, the drink itself tasted off. Ordered a Caesar salad the lettuce seemed to be not fresh and sauce had a weird after taste. I ordered The beef burger and it was over salted and lacking spices or taste. Service was okay, but not great. For the price was expecting better results.

This was a swing and a miss for me guys. Service felt forced to be nice, food wasn't worth the money, the burger I had was charred perfect and flavor was good.

Updated Review - July 2023 We stopped in again for lunch after a morning of swimming with the kids. The restaurant only had 1 table that was finishing up inside with a couple of tables outside as well. Our one child enjoyed their grilled cheese again, and the other enjoyed their penne pasta with sauce. My wife order the tandoori chicken wrap and it had great flavour and spiciness. I chose the 1 piece fish and chips which was very tasty as well, and I was happy that they had some packets of malt vinegar available. The one thing we noticed is that the menu seems like there's less options than previously, or at least for items we would choose to order. Prices are similar to last year. The service was quite good, however, we did notice at one point that there was a couple waiting to be seated with 2 employees watching the Stampede on the big screen. Things like that shouldn't happen at a resort like this. Original Review - July 2022 Stopped in for lunch at the Bear's Paw Bar & Grill after a morning of swimming with the kids. It was fairly empty when we arrived. We ordered the pickled Caesar along with the electric lemonade which were both quite tasty, although the picked Caesar was a little too salty as brine juice from the pickles are used in the drink. The food was quite tasty as usual. The kids enjoyed their grilled cheese and fries, even though the server screwed up the order as one of them ordered pasta, but was too hungry to wait for the proper order to be prepared, which they offered to do after realizing their mistake (not a huge deal). The resort salad with chicken was delicious, although there was a bit too much dressing. It was a good portion as well, but for $23 it better have been. The beef bul-go-gi with rice was prepared properly as I requested no onions or green peppers. It was quite delicious as well and was a decent portion for $21. Again, typical resort prices (a glass of Coke was $5). Overall lunch ran just over $100 without tip.

An excellent restaurant with all the standard fair, BUT served piping hot. It was oh so good. I didn't have the poutine, but I had the fries and the gravy -- incredible! I can only imagine it with Quebec cheese curd--which they have. Will have to go back.

Nachos are meant to be shared! My wife did her best but still only got half way through it. I had the prime rib burger and both of our meals were very good.
Brian Uhl — Google review
The service is slow so don't be on a time crunch, but man oh man did they finally get their food right! We've been going to Fairmont for ten years and only this time was the food delicious! New management, new chefs, new menu? Amazing either way!
Karly Tarney — Google review
It's our 2nd time going to Fairmont Hot Springs and the restaurant we went to last year was booked for an event so we ended up at Bear's Paw. Service was great, food was great too. Also the convenience of them being open until 11pm is great, where you wouldn't have to rush your soak in the hot spring because restaurant is closing early. Anyway, my only critique is it's really expensive. And for tipping, the lowest is 18%. It's way too high when you're already paying for a meal that's been jacked up price already.

Great service and the food was tasty. We got the fish and chips and hot wings and everything was nice & really tasty. The wings are huge and meaty and fish n chips were crispy . Our server was also really great

Restaurant
Antlers at the Lodge is a recently renovated sanctuary offering comprehensive dining options. At Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, guests can enjoy a satisfying meal or refreshing beverage after a day of activities. On Sundays, it tends to be relatively calm, allowing for an enjoyable dining experience with family. The service provided is exceptional, with the server being particularly helpful in navigating the menu choices. The resort salad and prime rib special are both outstanding dishes that receive high praise.
Our service was fantastic, the Butter Chicken was to die for; it reminded me of the butter chicken I had when I was in India. The Pad Thai was popping with flavor and absolutely delicious!

What a beautiful location to enjoy a coffee ☕️ and some breakfast 😋 The eggs Benedict were cooked perfectly and come with great tasting hashbrowns. There are many seats that provide a beautiful view of the mountains and the hot springs. Right now there is a renovation project happening on the deck outside which I am sure when done will be a great place to sit outside and enjoy a meal with a view. The servers were kind and on the ball with coffee refills.

We had the best desert in a long time. I can categorize it as "the best Michelin star..." The chocolate mousse was smooth and a home made crunchy base with wild berries. The sticky toffee pudding with warm caramel whipped cream and berries was beyond heavenly. Both of them were quite large. Great Chef!!!

It felt like i was back in Cuba. Wait staff is very courteous, very clean and professional looking establishment, and excellent food presentation. however the food we ordered could have a little salt and pepper. And I suppose the Chapman's was a tad overpriced. Add some seasonings, different ice cream, maybe a drink refill and you got yourself a 5/5.

Amazing service and food. Loved the 2 items we yried here. Hope to be back here again

We almost avoided this restaurant due to the poor reviews, which are totally unwarranted. I started with the chick pea, curry vegetable soup which was excellent. Beef Tenderloin was amazing, tenderloin and vegetables all cooked to perfection, quite possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. My spouse had the grilled salmon and she said it was also amazing. We finished the meal off with cheesecake and that too was excellent. Meal was a little pricey but I did not go there looking for a bargain.I went there to enjoy a top notch meal, and that is what you will enjoy at Antlers. Service from all staff members was great. Definitely will be dining here the next time we are in Fairmont.

If the chef trusted the ingredients, this would have rated higher. The charred yellowfin appetizer was smothered in a cloyingly sweet and acrid sauce that would have been better on pork and even then, not smothered. The garnish and presentation was smarter. The avocado, fruit and berry salad was better, lovely to look but there’s too much dijon in the dressing, overpowering the rich balance of tastes, and I’m a huge dijon mustard lover. Shrimps were overdone though the lobster was fine. Overall, way, way overpriced.
David Goorevitch — Google review
In the description of the egg Benedict in the menu there wasn’t any onion; however, there was many onion inside the avocado mix which I hate. Even, when I told them, they didn’t pay attention! Also, the Salmon in the egg Benedict didn’t look fresh because the taste was bitter.

Very mediocre food - do not recommend the "vietnamese" shrimp noodle bowl as it was extremely bland and boring. Server was nice but slow and did not check on us after we got the food. Manager did not call us for the waiting list as we were told, luckily we just came back to check, also seemed more interested in cleaning empty tables (there was no one waiting to be seated at this point) than helping the one server check on her seated tables.
Chelsea E. Blyth — Google review
The price to quality and portion sizes are pathetic, the only saving grace was the waitress wasn’t bad… the owners of this establishment should be ashamed. Clearly taking advantage of location and the fact there the only place to get breakfast. Lazy food prep, potatoes under cooked and hard and they want to charge you $70 for something you’d get through a fast food window. Extremely disappointed with experience
Jay Fresch — Google review
Food was absolutely amazing. I had the salmon and it was cooked perfectly. Service was great as well. Strongly suggest people go there.
Cameron Dick — Google review
We came here on a Sunday with my family and it was a fairly quiet night. Service was fantastic and our server was extremely helpful with the menu. The resort salad was fantastic as well as the prime rib special. The primary paired really well with the dirty laundry Cabernet Sauvignon!
Eric Wong — Google review
Terrible service, no water for 20 min, asked for “lots of napkins” because they didn’t give us any and she showed up with 6 napkins for 10 people?? It really seemed like nobody cared at all. The steak was good, but very very overpriced for the cut and size. I do not recommend this place at all if you care about service and getting food worth the amount of money you pay.

This is place is amazing and worth the drive/wait! I highly recommend their omurice as it was delicious. The service was great as well! Hats off to the chef as they did an amazing job keeping up with everyone's order. What an incredible gem we came across! If you’re in the area looking for incredible Japanese food, look no further. Everything was so tasty and fresh and made with perfection. The staff and owners were lovely and hospitable. If this place was closer to Vancouver, you can bet I would come back to try out EVERYTHING on their menu. 10/10!!

While staying at the Fairmont Hot Spring Resort, we googled restaurants in the area and we chanced upon this hidden gem located near the main highway. This mom-and-pop restaurant is located on one of the side roads, on the way to the Fairmont Hot Springs resort, from the main highway. It is also ran by a Japanese family. I tried the Sukiyaki beef, and I immediately loved its authentic taste. Then to cap my dinner, I then ordered a Kirin beer.

A special little sushi place. The owners care and deliver as if you were in their very own kitchen. The food was delicious, they even had Toro on the menu! Very fair prices. What a wonderful surprise to find this place and its creators. Make a reservation and enjoy!

Absolutely the best Sushi restaurant I’ve been to so far. Highly highly recommend the chicken nanban as well as yam tempura. The chicken nanban was devoured so quickly we didn’t get a photo of it. Sushi was all amazing as well. Great service, fast & so friendly. Not to mention the beautiful scenery from the picnic tables. Sooo glad we stumbled across this gem during our stay at the Fairmont resort. If we lived in the area we would be back all the time.

You knew the restaurant had the right vibe as soon as you walked in. My favorite was a sign on the table "food made by Japanese Cooks." True, so true. Japanese beer, but then the extra mile 7 to 10 different types of sake. Bubble tea!!! If you like Sushi you will be pleasantly surprised and satisfied.

Paid $8 for a drink and they filled up the cup halfway. It is quite costly there although the food and beverage seems high-quality. Food was delicious and presented well but I didn’t get a photo of it because I was so hungry. Not many vegan food options.

I definitely love their everything bagels. The vegies are very fresh and they cooked the egg perfectly. They also have a wide range of pastry and desserts. We haven’t tried their coffee since we already got it on the way. We kind of had a quick stopover to this place to grab some light breakfast.

Excellent coffee house. The espresso beans are roasted locally in Windermere. The owner Suzanne, was very friendly and likeable. I ordered an Americano and it was fantastic! They were in the process of making a cake, so they do baking as well. The inside is very comfortable, with a slow sleepy town type of atmosphere. It's a place where people have the time to talk to you and aren't in a big hurry. My kind of place! Will be back again.

Had a phenomenal experience in this little shop. Staff were polite and helpful, quick and courteous. I had the most delicious latte with the butter and coconut milk and even purchased a lovely mug from a local artisan. The cheese biscuit was to die for with the perfect crunch on the bottom and soft fluffiness on the inside.

Stopped by here for an afternoon fix, and was not disappointed! Delicious mocha with milk alternative (although it could have been a bit more chocolatey). Worth a visit for the food and exceptional customer service! I have now visited the Local Coffeehouse a couple times, trying their cheese scone, cinnamon bun, grilled cheese, and breakfast sandwich - all of which were very delicious and I would highly recommend. The owner Adrian is quite friendly and I had a great conversation with him during my second visit. I have had a couple lattes (and tasted the vanilla latte) and this appears to need some refining. The beans used when I visited were stolen church espresso, which is my favourite roaster in the Invermere area. The espresso, however, tasted quite over extracted and burnt/ashy in the latte, indicating perhaps the grind was off or the brew ratio could be tweaked to get flavours similar to what the roaster produces in their shop. All in all I had a great experience at the Local Coffeehouse and will be back next time I'm in the area. I look forward to seeing how this shop grows!

Recently visited Farside Inn Pub and Eatery for wing night, where the wings were scrumptious and there was a wide variety of options. The attentive new waitress impressed with her exceptional service, effortlessly handling any comments. The overall atmosphere and conversations with other staff members were also enjoyable. Despite initial difficulties under new ownership resulting in a decline in food quality, recent visits have shown significant improvements in both the menu selection and taste.
Just enjoyed wing night here. The wings were delicious. Had lots of choices. Our waitress was new, this was her first night. She was absolutely amazing. We were able to kibitz with her and she just let it roll off her back. Super friendly and very nice. All the other stuff we talked to there was great as well. I would recommend anybody that wants to enjoy a fun time and delicious food to go here.

Was only in town for 1 night, I have never been here before. Was excited to go to a restaurant and enjoy some food. Good service and friendly, but disappointed with the food. Ordered a salad, was told only had 1 salad dressing (after ordering) and the fries were not fully cooked. Appreciated them giving a discount because we were not happy.

Food was okay. We didn’t feel so great after leaving. I ordered first and my order never got put in so I had to eat some of my friends food and get half my meal to go. We couldn’t enjoy all together. The oil from the fryer tasted a bit old but for needing something close, it did the trick. Also terrible customer service with the answering to these reviews. The story being told isn’t true and I get that this is a trend by reading the other reviews and the way the owner has spoken down to every customer in them. Won’t ever return and we are in this area A LOT.

Went on a Wednesday and had the pizza and wing deal. There was only one server but he was kind and efficient. Food was yummy, and love the atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this place unless you’re not patient, Be kind there are staff shortages everywhere in BC.

Our hockey team had a team pizza party for kids here. The set up here is great for team parties and bringing kids during the day is no problem. We had made reservations here so we had tge place to ourselves. They let us serve ourselves for pop and iced tea. The pizzas had good toppings but the crust tasted like a ftozen pizza crust from a grocery store unfortunately. There aren't many places to choose from in the area for large groups of kids so it is an ok place to come.

I ordered pizza which i was very happy with! crust almost seemed home made and loved toppings. fresh veggies. Ive been so disappointed every where else i've had pizza so i was extra pleased with this pizza. hubby ordered burger and fries and we shared our meals. our friends ordered beef dip. all dishes were good sized portions. i eat alot so they are prob more than good sized portions. we had drinks too. the owners were lovely and very attentive to us! thank you so much! we have plans to return for an appetizer night and watch a hockey game this week before heading back to Alberta!

We have be long time patrons here,Since the new owners ship food quality has drastically decreased. Pork bit wasn’t cooked enough completely raw side and the pizza was supposed to be the carnivore with very little meats in it and the quality of the ingredients was terrible we end up eating one piece and throw the rest very disappointing.
Mélissa Dupont — Google review
The first impression is that the place has decor that is sparse with dated furniture, which is noticeable in its large spacious seating area. But we came for the food. So after adjusting to the resort zone sticker pricing we were very please with Fireside Pizza. Tasty with a look of coming out of a fire oven. Loved it. Draft beers on tap are for minimalist who enjoys lighter non-craft. The house white did taste fine. It's a roomy clean place that offers a broad list of menu items in a bare bone, very well lite setting.

We should have known there was a problem when we drove up and there were no cars in the parking lot and it hasn’t been plowed. The food was cold , overcooked and seemed mostly cooked from frozen. The vegetables were wilty and not fresh. We were so disappointed.

Was looking for a late dinner with the family after a long drive to Fairmont hot springs. We had tried going to another rrestaurant they had stopped serving. Initially the new owners were not ready and the menu and food quality suffered. However, we have recently been twice for dinner and both the menu and quality were much improved. According to my grandchildren, the Pasta Alfredo and Onion Rings are better than before. Keep on improving and you will win back your customers.
