This is one of those pubs with lots of charm and character. It's old but well kept and the service is friendly but with just enough sass. If you're looking for one of those cookie-cutter franchise type pubs, this is not for you. But if you want a laid-back place where regular people can have a good time with some friends, then give this place a try. I highly recommend it!

My favourite wing night around!!! The food here is consistent and delicious, waitresses are always happy and helpful, they have a yummy selection of beers. The fox & hound is definitely one of my favourite pubs.

Went there for the first time. First off the place is super cool. Love the interior. The waitress we had was awesome. Super friendly and made sure we had what we needed. Place was very quiet so that helped. The Burger and fries were great.! Will go back for sure !

Definitely a different kind of pub. The decor has strong Disney theme park vibes in some areas. Atmosphere was fairly lowkey and seemed like there were lots of pockets of intimate conversation. Service was very attentive and friendly, and the food was good. Would recommend a try if you’re in the area.

First time coming here and literally got scammed? Ordered the wings on special along with other items and when we were packing up and ready to go the waitress refused to let us pack up the wings? Told us it was a dine in special and that she had to throw them out and couldn’t let us bring them home? This was not advertised and there was no warning. The restaurant took these 2 full baskets away to throw in the garbage. Not coming back ever.

Great place with a great atmosphere. Loved the food. Really crispy waffle cut fries. However, it was fairly expensive. $25 for an appy, beer and dessert. Not horrible, but on the more pricey side. Would have been $60 plus if we ordered a main dish with most costing $25+. Otherwise, loved the hostess, the atmosphere, and the food was cooked well and delicious.

Ordered for pick up & Sean was amazing even though their system had an issue processing my order. Polite, friendly, & flexible with fixing the issues that arose. Food was flavourful & felt like great quality for the fair pricing. I will be back & most likely as a dine in customer this time around.

Had Dinner here in September after golf. Looks like a decent pub for the locals as it was pretty busy. Staff were great and while I had a couple beers, my friend had a soft drink. Only reason I mention it was he has three free refills. Wished they did that for the beer......lol Food was good, so a good experience at this pub.

I've been a few times, and had a good experience and enjoyed the food. However on a recent visit, my friends ordered stuffed mushrooms that ended up tasting like they went bad, and left an unpleasant aftertaste. Upon telling the server, she assumed that they were trying to get them for free, and told them more than once that they would be paying for them in full (since they ate them anyways). In actually, they just wanted to let the kitchen know in case they had a bad batch or expired ingredient.

The Buttered Chicken was great and the Baked Lasagna was very good plus they have some awesome choices of beers on tap! The atmosphere was interesting, however it seem to be missing something. Not sure what it's missing but it just felt like it. I would definitely go back.

Average sized portions, prices were high, food was average, service was great. Food was ready in a decent amount of time. About 30 minutes for takeout. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They had a few people waiting around dinner time. The chow mein was average, the barbecue pork fried rice was great and full of flavor but had an insane amount of peas, the almond chicken was good with an unusual twist, they sprinkle sugar on top, in all my years of ordering Chinese food no one else has done that. They blend the sugar with the crushed almonds for the topping. It reminds me of the sugary coating on donuts. It actually tasted pretty good. I was not a fan of the honey garlic pork. My usual place in Surrey puts on a generous coating of sauce leaving a pool of sauce in the bottom of the container. They're all sticky and dripping with flavor and you can spoon the excess sauce in the container over the food on your plate. But the honey garlic pork at this place was almost dry. I couldn't taste the honey or garlic at all. I also wasn't a fan of the size of the pork pieces in the honey garlic pork. For me the smaller the better. I like the nice crispy ones. The pork chunks here were very large. I got a few super long ones the size of chicken strips. They should be diced much smaller. The pieces were so large it just wasn't appetizing. The chunks look like chicken wings. That spring rolls I guess are hit and miss. We ordered two. One was perfect nice and crispy and the other one was completely soggy. I don't know what happened there. Overall I think their prices are just a bit too high for what you're getting.

I was so shocked the first bite, honestly. I'm too used to hyped restaurants being underwhelming! No wait for dinner at around 5 pm, we got the scallion pancakes and an order of the pork soup dumplings and pork + crab soup dumplings. The scallion pancake was a little too crispy with hardly any scallions. It was a good thing for soaking up the soup that escaped my spoon. The pork and pork/crab kinda tasted the same to me. So good. So much flavor, what the heck! I recommend eating the dumplings as soon as you can just cause there isn't as much an effect when it's not about to burn your mouth. Plus, cold soup isn't that nice... Make sure you have your technique optimized to enjoy the dumplings. They really are worth trying!

I ordered dinner for two and loved it. I had it to go and thought the take out containers might be too small but there was lots of food in them. The price was good and it was fresh and made when I ordered it. The sweet and sour pork was orange but it was really good. The restaurant didn't look fancy but it smelled extremely clean. I don't go to a place for their decorations I go for their food and this place was good. There was only a 10-12 minute wait for the food. Was hot and fresh. Staff were very pleasant and even offered me a calendar.

Back in the 2000s this place had Really, really great food! I mean it was the best. But now, over the years+new management it isn't the same. The BFCS I felt wasn't very high quality beef, but the rice was alright. I give it 3/5 stars it's probably generous to be totally honest.

I've lived in Alderbush for over 20 years and used to get food here when it was called Dragon Fort which was really good with huge portions. The name changed years ago and the quality went wayyyyyy down as did the portions. Havent tried it since and that was at least 3 years ago.I decided to give it one more chance today and thank God I did. What a splendid meal! Not sure if its new owners, cooks or management but whatever the hell is going on over there is truly something to behold. I loved my chicken chow mein, the breaded almond chicken was plump crispy and not over breaded. The sweet and sour pork was tender and not dried out whatsoever. I'll be back very soon and hope the Alderbush community supports this restaurant also. If you had a bad meal there in the past know that i did too but clearly there are changes and some really good Chinese cuisine is coming out of there now! Bon Appétit !

I always feel bad doing this. This Chinese food is not for me at all. Over priced and cheaply made. The beef and broccoli should be called mushroom and broccoli with almost no meat, the chow mein was like it was cooked on top of an engine. The taste was disgusting. It was tough to eat. We usually look forward to leftovers but we threw it out. I'll say first and last time going. Definitely check out the other Chinese food in Aldergrove. 5 star dining compared to this.

This place was horrible. Years ago it used to be dragon Fort and it was so good. Well now that it’s dragon house it’s a big no. Portions are small. Expensive. Disgusting. Food tastes like it was sitting out and reheated. One dish we ordered was deep fried wontons. I have had them many places and never seen like this. Was all batter and the supposedly “wonton” was the smaller then my pinky nail, a spec. I called and asked if they would exchange the dish or issue a store credit. They told me it was a 10 year recipe and would do nothing about it. They were very rude. Don’t eat here.

Ordered a beef fried rice take out. They prepared it less than two minutes. It got Hardly any meat or vegetable on it. No flavor at-all. Waste of money. Highly dissatisfied. No more Chinese food from Aldergrove again.

I've never had a bad experience with Chinese food like I did with this restaurant, I couldn't eat the food from here and my kids couldn't eat either as the good had a bad smell coming from it! but yet they still wanted me to pay $50 even though the plan full of food was in front of them.... like no but i was nice to still pay $35 out of the $50... worse place to go

Great little Chinese restaurant. Highly recommend the Yang Chow Fried Rice, Cashew Chicken, Sweet & Sour Pork, and Chop Suey.

I don't like having to leave a bad review but the sweet and sour pork was way over cooked it was hard to eat and the ginger beef was like eating spiced rocks was over $100 and terrible I cannot recommend this place.

The food at this restaurant was delightful and the people that worked there was incredible! I ordered a vermicelli chicken bowl with fish sauce and my husband ordered lemon grass chicken rice plate. There was so much flavour and they really hooked up the chicken for our dishes ☺️

We absolutely love this place! The food is good. I especially love wonton soup here, the kids love the pho, and my hubby loves the subs (Banh Mi). The staff is always friendly, the kitchen is fast. You have to try the lemongrass chicken ! It's really popular here.

Really appreciated that this restaurant serves tea (instead of cold water and making you pay extra for basic tea). Dishes were simple but flavourful. I was pleasantly surprised that the fish sauce and other sauce accompaniments to the dishes were WELL BALANCED in taste (not sugar bombs). Atmosphere was nice & easy-going.

Food is delicious and very well made. Service is spotty sometimes but it’s still worth it for the food. My favourites are the Vietnamese sandwich’s and pho. This place is hands down one of the best.

Our first time experience here was beyond great. The food was phenomenal, the staff were friendly and the service was fast and efficient. 100% would recommend and will return to this establishment again :)

Pretty decent for the foods, nothing special for me. I can say because I've been tried a lot of Vietnamese restaurants. My first time here but second time for my husband and stepdaughter who ordered seafoods noodle last time and complained that too much noodle and too little seafood so she ordered extra seafood this time. I ordered spicy seafood which didn't asked for extra seafood and my stepdaughter was right about it. Had only one server who did everything so can't complain because she was pretty busy. I like the restaurant to be clean and organized so we sat right inside which a lot of stuffs pile up next to us so would be nice for them to organize to make the area look nice, not messy and dusty So 3.5 stars

Pho Tran is my go to Vietnamese place in the Langley region. The food is good, the service is excellent and consistent. Pho Tran is a family business not a franchise. In December they even ran a customer appreciation discount for the month. It isn’t a fancy restaurant however none of the best Vietnamese places are. I go here time and time again when I am in the region. It is even comparable to the Richmond restaurants which I usually eat at. Pictures attached.

Wow, super chill experience, the PHO was excellent. The broth was full of flavor and super tasty lunch stop. Highly recommend the Chicken Salad Rolls as well. Staff were so nice to deal with and super fast to the table. Definitely on my list of PHO restaurants to visit again. Also to add, they offer a punch card for free soup after 10 visits. Try to save what you can these days.

3.5 - Randomly stopped by this spot and was impressed. The beef ball broth was actually really flavourful and not oily. I also ordered the veggie spring rolls which were also good and a bowl of white rice. Will be back to try more dishes.

I ordered "lemongrass chicken and spring rolls" and "2 spring rolls" as a side to go. Food was great but I felt overpriced a bit as Vietnamese restaurant. $9 for 2 spring rolls...

First time here after driving by many times. We had eggs Benny and it was delicious. Muffin toasted perfectly, bacon was crisp and the holidaise was not too much. The crisp potatoes were awesome. Our server was new at the job but very friendly and attentive. We will be back, this time for dinner.

Overall good classic burger and Yam fries, however wife found the chicken penne alfredo bland. The burger had quite a good sized patty for the price and was a good burger. Nice portion of yam fries. Sauce for the yam fries not my taste. Penne alfredo just lacked much taste with semingly unseasoned chicken but was still OK. Loved the patio and will probably be a great place to sit in the greenery in summertime.

We have gone past this place several times when drive through town and kept saying "we really need to try that place"... well tonight we did and it didn't disappoint! Now we have a new date night place.. missed getting a pic of my husband's lamb.. main meals were fantastic... cheese cake was just ok... We will be back!

Always love the atmosphere, always come back for the food. Never forget the service... Missing my regular servers, Mel & Felicia. However, the place still has that good old Friday vibe, and the service continues to exceed my expectations, so far tonight : ) fresh large-size lime for my drink, loving it!

Gross. Second attempt and was yet again a mistake. The staff isn't exciting nor the atmosphere. We ordered wings and these are the veggies that were served to us. We asked the server to return them to the chef and asked that he eat them instead since he insisted they were infact fresh enough for us to eat. She ignored our unhappiness threw them in the garbage and said nothing. This showed us our dislike for the food we're paying for wasnt a worthy enough issue to deal with. This is why restaurants die. A chef always shows when he doesn't give a fack about his service on the plate he fixes. If the staff doesn't address the customers issue to the kitchen, how can a kitchen fix itself? This did however answer my question as to why there were no customers in the restaurant aside from 3 other people.

Not impressed. We came in and we could hear multiple tables complaining about the service with some even getting up to the bar to finally get someone’s attention for the bill. We decided to still give them a shot. I ordered the chicken Alfredo which was so unbelievably plain. The chicken tasted like it was just thrown in water with no flavour at all. Then it took forever to get a to go box as well as the bill, we were just sitting there surrounded by our leftovers watching the staff ignore us. Won be coming here again.

Absolutely amazing. Got the chicken and fries plus a calamari appetizer to go. The chicken and fries were good. I loved the panko breading on the chicken (gave a nice crunch). The calamari though! Hands down the best I've had. It's a spicy BBQ style calamari and every bite is perfection. Absolutely blew my expectations out of the water. 10/10 will return just based on the calamari

Had the fish & chips with cole slaw for lunch. Very delicious and very fresh, not greasy. Awesome generous portions. Had ice cream for dessest. Angela was our server, she was fantastic. Her service was impeccable. Very friendly and always had a smile on her face. I would highly recommend Bob's Bar and Grill. Ask for Angela. Was an excellent dining experience. I like to go to this steak house the most, because of its simple wooden house, the original color of the exterior wall is wood and pebbles, especially the interior decoration, the corner portrait decoration on the wall or the random hanging objects, especially a guitar or a wood carving. .. Under the bright or dark orange light, the sound of the guitar lingers in the ear, this style is the impression of the North American West Country Club engraved in the mind in the 1980s, and it is more intimate! My favorite among steaks is Sirloin Steak, which is super tender and plump! If you go on a Saturday night, it's a jazz or saxophone night, and you should cheer with a glass of wine

Just ordered for pick up from bobs as we just moved to aldergrove. SO IMPRESSED! Almost as if you can taste the love in the food. Whoever the chef is, thank you. Had the best prawn linguine that tasted like it was cooked at home..nothing like any chain establishment. Highly recommend ❤️

Ordered some super delicious food from Bob's over DoorDash. Have always wanted to try their food and glad I did. The spicy calamari was super delicious and so was the seafood fettuccini, the cheesecake and the Ginger Beer. Unfortunately, can't comment on the décor or the service, but everything else was solid.

Our daughters were craving for pizza but the one we wanted to visit no dine in, we didn't know so we walked in to this pizza place which no customers. A guy was on the phone so I thought a customer or delivery guy waited for food but later turned out to be a staff there because he didn't welcome us. Then a lady came out with serious face, not even a smile or greeted us until I felt awkward so I asked if we can dine in, she said yes. We had to connect the tables ourselves. She just sat at the counter remaining serious face like why did you here I really wanted to walk out but the girls insisted to have pizza and hungry. The whole time my husband ordered, no smile, nothing until we were about to walk out. She came out to ask if the pizzas ok. My husband liked it so she smiled for the first time. So we won't go back. Not only one place we can have pizza in Aldergrove

had to bacon cheesburger medium pizzas delivered. was the grossest pizza i had in a while. 50 bucks with the wings. hard earned money and it was gross

Not often I put a 5 star rating. Ordered on a Friday night expecting a 30-40 minute delivery. Pizza arrived in 17 minutes and was hot and delicious. Great service, great pizza. We will be back!

Ordered a taco pizza because they used to make the best. Sooo disappointed. Barely any toppings maybe a handful of cheese on each pizza, lettuce pieces just thrown on. Sparse toppings. I'll never order from there again not worth my $$

It is not very often you come across a 5.0 rating, so I tried it out. The delivery staff was absolutely amazing. He explained how it's family for 35+ years that keeps it great! I tried super Hawaiian and chicken fajita pizza. Both were absolutely delicious and I couldn't put down. Even as I was putting it in the fridge I snuck another slice. The toppings are real and fresh! The top layer was just in long enough to create that beautiful cheese topping that crunchs when you bite in. Honestly I don't know where they get the ingredients but I am going to believe that they buy everything fresh from the farmers markets they have all around Aldergrove. Thank you to these owners and family for keeping it real!

By far the worst pizza I've ever had. Under cooked, and way over priced. I've never had such disappointing soggy flavorless pizza. I definitely will never recomend or order from here again. Quite possibly the worst customer service I've experienced.
