Zoola San Pedro is a tranquil spot with a beautiful garden near the lake, offering breakfasts and snacks. The pool area provides great views and hosts special events and pool parties. The hostel has helpful staff, inclusive breakfast, free drinkable water, a pool by the lake, a cozy lounge area with cushions and even a TV with PS4 for entertainment. Additionally, it offers hammocks, a treehouse, unlimited free instant coffee between 8 am to 11 am.
Saved this place for the end of my vacation, and lord am I so pleased to have spent a little extra bucks. The rooms are clean and the private bathroom has made this place feel luxurious, spending the morning recovering in the pool is the best and the breakfast options are great for travelers who want a little comfort from home while still being authentic to the san pedro experience!

This has a sweet restaurant with a decent dive bar on a lakeside location, popular with stray dogs. The rooms are very, very basic and not very clean, the sheets are almost plastic. I inadvertently opened the room next door with our key, so I'd say it's not too secure. And if you plan on going out after dark, beware it can be difficult to find.
Donna F — Google review
Lake view from bar is nice, they were playing bad music very loudly. I was excited to eat at the restaurant because of all the reviews. First night they did not have pita bread so i did not order. second night had the salad and cauliflower bites and two falafels , for this being an israeli spot the sandwiches were so so sad and bland and dry. the bites were also small portioned for the money and so was the salad. spend almost the same prices and go to pita sabij.

Excellent Restaurant! Israeli Combo is a highlight!! I have been in the restaurant many times :-)
Leila Blaser — Google review
The location is nice and away from hustle and bustle. However the rooms are dirty and service is sub par. Once all the other bars are closed people are so loud transitioning to the bar here past the sleeping quarters and they play the same horrible trance music everyday. There is usually no one there dancing. I could get past the rooms and service but please switch up the music , some 80's or 90's hip hop. Something other than 'bump bump bump bump bump' into the morning . they could play old school house if they want that to be their vibe .Did not try restaurant . Will not be back

Ongezien. (Translated by Google) For us, this hostel was definitely a 10 out of 10. Staff very helpful, breakfast included that you can order at any time of the day in the restaurant (choice), free drinking water, swimming pool right on the lake. Super chilled lounge area with cushions and for enthusiasts even a TV with PS4, installed games and 5 controllers. Hammocks, tree house, unlimited free instant coffee between 8 and 11. Unseen.

Great location, 2 min walking away from the center. The hostel offers restaurant with multiple fresh delicious options, a beautiful pool with lake view and a open bar during all day long. Great costumer service and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend!

We went here for diner on a rainy Wednesday. The staff was very friendly and spoke Spanish and English well. We had a combo platter together with a salad and the home made fries (best you will ever taste) It was more then enough for us, the price was very reasonable, service was good. The seating is on the floor with cushions and low seated tables which give a adorable atmosphere.
Pepijn Lagerberg — Google review
Nice vibes at the bar and common areas. However it was very hot for some rooms not to have at least a fan.
Tiara Hoz — Google review
The only thing I enjoyed here was the food at the restaurant and the staff of the restaurant. Other than that it is filled with loud Israelis. The pool area was impossible to stay at because the music was SOO loud because the volunteers were playing music. The Israelis staying there had no respect for other guests. Also, the way to get to the entrance is very dodgy so be careful if you’re a solo (female) traveler. We walked in the wrong entrance and ran into a drugs house with junkies. It’s behind the hostel

Delicious food at this place. One of the best meals I had in Guatemala, for sure. The food is very authentic. We tried different dishes that were mixed and absolutely loved everything!!! Highly recommend it!!! ❤️❤️❤️ It is totally worth the wait. Make sure you find the restaurant and try it.
Keren Amaya S — Google review
I came for dinner here one day. I don’t mind sitting on the floor but the sheets covering the mattresses were so obviously dirty which was off putting. There was also a large dog which came around sniffing us which is off putting when trying to eat food. The food is okay, the falafel is a bit hard but overall a nice meal

Zoola is one of the best hotels i have been. The food is absolutely fabulous. (Espacially the eggplant starter!!) The staff is really nice and caring. Its a hotel where you can chill, relax without beeing disturbed. Great atmosphere, great vibe! I would go back without hestitation.

My favorite spot at the lake. Great food, nice rooms and very welcoming.

ONLY for a drink - NOT for food. Beautiful place, relaxing, great waiter, adorable cats. We did not pay for the « propina »/service because of the very awful food (chicken pesto, maybe the other type of food is good…).

Hummus-Ya is a remarkable small eatery that offers delectable Cornish pasties and Iraqi beef borag, both of which are exceptional. The restaurant comes highly recommended and should not be overlooked. While the service may be a tad sluggish, the hummus and falafel offerings leave something to be desired in terms of taste. Nevertheless, the prices are reasonable. Hummus-Ya presents an enjoyable dining experience overall with its flavorful dishes and acceptable pricing structure.
Amazing little restaurant. The Cornish pasties and the Iraqi beef borag were phenomenal. Don't miss this place
Alex Degmetich — Google review
Unfortunately you need to wait at least 50 minutes to get your food or your drinks. The fries were super thin and very oily, a bit too crispy. The falafel (falabich) was just OK and not really tasty. If you’re very hungry, you should visit at least 90 minutes before you getting hungry…
Carlos — Google review
I dont write opinions often but I'm sorry the food looks like child experiment, it's just ingredients put together not a dish. Pita was cold with freezing cold eggs inside, lentils were tastless with put together with white rice. Lemonade its water but pink. Lemongrass was lemon tea XD. plus extremely loud music from downstairs and across the street mixing together. I'm really disappointed
N Lesiau — Google review
We had to wait for 50 min without any apology. They also forgot our drinks. The Falabich (Falafel - Sabich) was very tasteless, cold and there was no eggplant in it. Needs a lot of improvements…
Billie — Google review
Service was a bit slow, and the hummus & falafel weren't that good. Prices are ok though.
Yuval — Google review
Tasty chicken shawarma. Really cosy upstairs area. Restaurant location right next to where shuttles drop you off.
Dale Doyle — Google review
Lots of options to choose from here, quick service given only one person working. Pita bread wasn’t all that fresh and could have done with more salad. Affordable.

A lovely place run by a lovely woman that cooks things fresh. You can expect fries from freshly cut potatoes and kebab meat from fresh mince!

The food here is DELICIOUS! There is a plate for every pallet. The space is cozy and the prices can’t be Beat! Highly recommend this lovely place. Can’t leave without giving it a try. TRUST.

Bar Sublime is a versatile spot that offers a unique experience both during the day and at night. During the day, it's a chill restaurant with a superb location facing the lake, providing an amazing view. The menu includes great food options such as nachos, ceviche of pulpo, and fresh dorada fish. In the evening, it transforms into a lively party vibe with music and nightlife activities.
Superb location, facing the lake with an amazing view. Young and with a nice vibe, it offers a good selection of drinks and beers, and great food options: we had nachos (the best ones I had so far), a ceviche of pulpo and a fresh dorada fish, served with potatoes and vegetables. Also very cool in the evening with music and a more nightlife vibe.

Awesome place to kick back and relax. It's huge there. I love the atmosphere (scenery and music)! Great food and service as well. Perfect place.
Karen Ward — Google review
A gorgeous place to sit and look out onto the lake, with reasonable prices too. I was however, disappointed with the small portion sizes. I ordered the chicken wings and although they were tasty, the portion of fries was very small and I did see other plates being brought out with varying portions too. Staff were overall quite unfriendly as well.
Stella Seych — Google review
Good happy hour special but drinks are definitely watered down. Food was just okay. Good views.
Ted Tucker — Google review
A standout burger bar with good view of the lake. The burger and wedge fries were delicious. Went on a low hour, but I can see it being a good place for drinks and games in the evening.

Stopped by here to eat and wow I have to say the quality of food was just awful. I don't think I've had food this bad anywhere else. If you're looking for a place to drink, definitely try it out for cocktails - but for food, look elsewhere!
Alex Orchilles — Google review
A must-visit spot in San Pedro! Incredible views of the landscape and lake, delicious food, and a pool table for entertainment. We spent 12 hours there yesterday. The live music at night was fantastic. Prices were reasonable, but the portion size for the grande pizza was the same as a medium in other places.
Alper — Google review
Don’t try this place for food or drinks. The alcoholic drinks are watered down. The staff bring the drinks by placing their hands along the rim. It’s unsanitary. One of our group got food poisoning from eating here. I’d avoid this place entirely. The view is nice but there are so many other bars on the street with a similar view.
K K — Google review
Nice place, good drinks, good music. But do not eat the food. I’ve been here three times and every time I get food poisoning. Other than that, really nice place to grab a drink with a view from the lake.
Michelle Mazariegos — Google review
Went here with my 10 yr old daughter gif dinner. It had a nice vibe/club like feel with dance floor and all. We enjoyed the vibe and the food was good as well! She had wings and I had the fried garlic fish and both were good! I also had 2 tequila drinks as it was lady’s night as half off certain drinks. Overall we enjoyed and would definitely return!!!
Tasha M — Google review
Stopped here for a beer and the view. Sat on the floating dock which is so cute and nice! I jumped in the water which was refreshing. Drinks reasonably priced. Pablo was super friendly and nice. I didn't get any food or any other drinks besides beer, but talked to a couple people who said they have been there most nights the past two weeks. They said it's a great place at night for nightlife. Cheap drinks and a good time!
Ashley Wolter — Google review
Although it’s a great spot in front of the lake, nice choice of music and nightlife, goof quality of food. Service is slow due to place tends to get busy

Probably they have better tasting dishes but don't get the ceviche. It was warm, and it barely had any fish. It was mainly onions and tomatoes.
Ivan Uriarte — Google review
The location of this bar is amazing, with great views over lake atitlan. There’s also a good amount of seating and the menu has a fair amount of options. The food however is dissapointing in regard to both flavour and portion size. I paid 55Q for the 1lb Chicken and Chips, and the portion I received had around 10 chips and the chicken portion was also small. The service here isn’t that friendly either.
Damon Leng — Google review
We just arrived to San Pedro and came right here. Why? Because their name is eponymous with the view from their patio. Wow! Why give such a glowing review? Because it's true... and they give you a free shot for tagging or reviewing them on social media. :)

Spectacular views over the lake, fast service. Decent food. Great deals on happy hour 5pm-7pm. Definitely recommend stopping in.

Chill restaurant during the day and more party vibe during the night. The burger is tasty. I didn't like the ceviche, the fish was too cooked for me. The ice cubes are made from pura agua. Cocktails are very good and cheap. The pina colada is made from a real pineapple puree.

Tried looking all over San Pedro for dinner at 8 PM on a Saturday… everywhere was closed, or had a very long kitchen wait. We usually try not to eat where we party, but this restaurant was the exception. Food and drinks were at reasonable and average prices for the area, and the DJ was bumpin! Plants everywhere, bonfire, great atmosphere. Would highly recommend. We got the grilled fish and the mixto grill

Smokin' Joes' BBQ is a lively spot with incredible food and generous portions. The chicken fingers, pulled pork sandwich, and fish tacos are all highly recommended. The frozen margaritas are delicious and massive. The atmosphere is fun with activities like bocce ball tournaments, pool swimming, darts, giant Jenga, and boules available. The ribs are particularly noteworthy for their size and flavor. On Sundays, the BBQ event offers fantastic ribs and sides that shouldn't be missed.
The food was incredible, with big portions. We tried the chicken fingers and the pulled pork sandwich. The frozen margarita was also delicious and massive. Great value, and fun environment. There was a bocce ball tournament going on while we were there, and people swimming in the pool. There were lots of adorable dogs there to look at you longingly while you eat.

Amazing tacos, I got the fish ones and they were so big! You help yourself to the toppings. Also they have a pool, darts, giant Jenga, boules etc to play with! We went back the next day and got ribs, they were huge (shared between 2)! Best ribs we’ve ever eaten!!
Aimee J — Google review
Ran out of the buffet sides by 2pm, half way through the BBQ, and veggie option ran out an hour in. Shame as it's such a good vibe, you don't expect them to run out of food half way through a 4 hour service since they run this twice a week. We ended up eating elsewhere and leaving their bar early as a consequence. Badly run event, we wouldn't recommend, such a shame as could be so good if it was organised better. Bar staff are lovely however!

Best BBQ I've had outside of Texas. Ribs are incredible. These are the St Louis, the baby back slap too though. Don't eat beforehand, youll regret it, that buffet style aint nothing to play with

Great laid back atmosphere with a decent sized bar, a swimming pool and good service. The pulled pork sandwich, is a good meal for the price and gives you a lot to eat.

Sunday funday at Smokin Joes BBQ. Excellent choice of meats and seafood. All you can eat salad bar included.
Parrothead Chris — Google review
The best years of SJ are behind him. He serves cafeteria foods now. The burger patty: full of flour, not juicy at all, not cheddar as promised but kraft tasteless, bun too big, all the worse brands of condiments. Ribs dry, drowned in an ever so heavy sauce that is way too sweet. If you love fries, forget it, they don't know how to make them. The barman is super nice, but the owner seems to be unhappy to see you, to talk to you or - worse - even serve you. You can't get a smile, or if you get one, you'll get the cold shoulder ever after. People are so immersed in their neurosis and assumptions... they don't see what going on under their own nose! Definitely, forget it. Not worth your while. not mine that's for sure.

Cafe y Restaurante Atitlan is an impeccable establishment that provides a tranquil and enjoyable atmosphere. The service is exceptional, with attentive staff always wearing a friendly smile. The place itself is beautiful and recommended for its delicious vegetarian omelet, along with other delectable dishes at affordable prices.
