This has a sweet restaurant with a decent dive bar on a lakeside location, popular with stray dogs. The rooms are very, very basic and not very clean, the sheets are almost plastic. I inadvertently opened the room next door with our key, so I'd say it's not too secure. And if you plan on going out after dark, beware it can be difficult to find.

Lake view from bar is nice, they were playing bad music very loudly. I was excited to eat at the restaurant because of all the reviews. First night they did not have pita bread so i did not order. second night had the salad and cauliflower bites and two falafels , for this being an israeli spot the sandwiches were so so sad and bland and dry. the bites were also small portioned for the money and so was the salad. spend almost the same prices and go to pita sabij.

The location is nice and away from hustle and bustle. However the rooms are dirty and service is sub par. Once all the other bars are closed people are so loud transitioning to the bar here past the sleeping quarters and they play the same horrible trance music everyday. There is usually no one there dancing. I could get past the rooms and service but please switch up the music , some 80's or 90's hip hop. Something other than 'bump bump bump bump bump' into the morning . they could play old school house if they want that to be their vibe .Did not try restaurant . Will not be back

We went here for diner on a rainy Wednesday. The staff was very friendly and spoke Spanish and English well. We had a combo platter together with a salad and the home made fries (best you will ever taste) It was more then enough for us, the price was very reasonable, service was good. The seating is on the floor with cushions and low seated tables which give a adorable atmosphere.

Nice vibes at the bar and common areas. However it was very hot for some rooms not to have at least a fan.

The only thing I enjoyed here was the food at the restaurant and the staff of the restaurant. Other than that it is filled with loud Israelis. The pool area was impossible to stay at because the music was SOO loud because the volunteers were playing music. The Israelis staying there had no respect for other guests. Delicious food at this place. One of the best meals I had in Guatemala, for sure. The food is very authentic. We tried different dishes that were mixed and absolutely loved everything!!! Highly recommend it!!! ❤️❤️❤️ It is totally worth the wait. Make sure you find the restaurant and try it.

I came for dinner here one day. I don’t mind sitting on the floor but the sheets covering the mattresses were so obviously dirty which was off putting. There was also a large dog which came around sniffing us which is off putting when trying to eat food. The food is okay, the falafel is a bit hard but overall a nice meal

Zoola is one of the best hotels i have been. The food is absolutely fabulous. (Espacially the eggplant starter!!) The staff is really nice and caring. Its a hotel where you can chill, relax without beeing disturbed. Great atmosphere, great vibe! I would go back without hestitation.

The best food I’ve had in Guatemala. I ordered a Israeli platter and I also had breakfast here the other day. Both mind blowingly good.

Unfortunately you need to wait at least 50 minutes to get your food or your drinks. The fries were super thin and very oily, a bit too crispy. The falafel (falabich) was just OK and not really tasty. If you’re very hungry, you should visit at least 90 minutes before you getting hungry…

I dont write opinions often but I'm sorry the food looks like child experiment, it's just ingredients put together not a dish. Pita was cold with freezing cold eggs inside, lentils were tastless with put together with white rice. Lemonade its water but pink. Lemongrass was lemon tea XD. plus extremely loud music from downstairs and across the street mixing together. I'm really disappointed

A gorgeous place to sit and look out onto the lake, with reasonable prices too. I was however, disappointed with the small portion sizes. I ordered the chicken wings and although they were tasty, the portion of fries was very small and I did see other plates being brought out with varying portions too. Staff were overall quite unfriendly as well.

A must-visit spot in San Pedro! Incredible views of the landscape and lake, delicious food, and a pool table for entertainment. We spent 12 hours there yesterday. The live music at night was fantastic. Prices were reasonable, but the portion size for the grande pizza was the same as a medium in other places.

Don’t try this place for food or drinks. The alcoholic drinks are watered down. The staff bring the drinks by placing their hands along the rim. It’s unsanitary. One of our group got food poisoning from eating here. I’d avoid this place entirely. The view is nice but there are so many other bars on the street with a similar view.

Went here with my 10 yr old daughter gif dinner. It had a nice vibe/club like feel with dance floor and all. We enjoyed the vibe and the food was good as well! She had wings and I had the fried garlic fish and both were good! I also had 2 tequila drinks as it was lady’s night as half off certain drinks. Overall we enjoyed and would definitely return!!!

Stopped here for a beer and the view. Sat on the floating dock which is so cute and nice! I jumped in the water which was refreshing. Drinks reasonably priced. Pablo was super friendly and nice. I didn't get any food or any other drinks besides beer, but talked to a couple people who said they have been there most nights the past two weeks. They said it's a great place at night for nightlife. Cheap drinks and a good time!

The location of this bar is amazing, with great views over lake atitlan. There’s also a good amount of seating and the menu has a fair amount of options. The food however is dissapointing in regard to both flavour and portion size. I paid 55Q for the 1lb Chicken and Chips, and the portion I received had around 10 chips and the chicken portion was also small. The service here isn’t that friendly either.

Chill restaurant during the day and more party vibe during the night. The burger is tasty. I didn't like the ceviche, the fish was too cooked for me. The ice cubes are made from pura agua. Cocktails are very good and cheap. The pina colada is made from a real pineapple puree.

Tried looking all over San Pedro for dinner at 8 PM on a Saturday… everywhere was closed, or had a very long kitchen wait. I had the pool to myself on a midweek day and the from 3ish really friendly long staying westerners arrived. Great local and travel advice. The BBQ on Sunday was amazing and the place was buzzing.

Amazing tacos, I got the fish ones and they were so big! You help yourself to the toppings. Also they have a pool, darts, giant Jenga, boules etc to play with! We went back the next day and got ribs, they were huge (shared between 2)! Best ribs we’ve ever eaten!!

Ran out of the buffet sides by 2pm, half way through the BBQ, and veggie option ran out an hour in. Shame as it's such a good vibe, you don't expect them to run out of food half way through a 4 hour service since they run this twice a week. We ended up eating elsewhere and leaving their bar early as a consequence. Badly run event, we wouldn't recommend, such a shame as could be so good if it was organised better. Bar staff are lovely however!

We had a papaya juice and it was basically just water with a touch of fruit. We also had the vegetarian platter and the beans and guacamole were sooo salty. The tortillas were good and the staff were kind and apologetic but overall the food is not worth the price.
