The Somos Cafe & Restaurant in Santa Teresa offers a diverse dining experience, catering to various preferences. Whether you're craving a healthy salad bowl, tacos, artisanal coffee, Greek shakshuka, sushi, or pasta, this place has it all. As an all-in-one hotel, cafe and surf shop, Somos is popular for both daytime and nighttime dining. During the day, it's a relaxed spot for friends or remote work while at night it becomes lively with a social crowd.
We really enjoyed the vibe and decor of this place. We went on a Saturday for brunch and there was a DJ playing a beach surf mix. The Mint honey lemonade was really refreshing and not too sweet. The food was on par with the vibe. The burrito was tasty and came with a hot sauce and and pico. 👌🏼 The portions were pretty big - as I didn’t eat again until the next morning. Loved it and we’ll be back for sure. 🤙🏼

One of the best spots in Santa Teresa. Price was a little higher than other places but not by much. Coffee was great for breakfast. Highly recommend breakfast here too. Hosts live music as well depending on the day. Tough to find off the street because the plants almost completely covered the sign and entrance. Younger hipster vibes - great for all audiences.

Somos is a perfect place if you need to get some work done on your laptop or are looking for a nice place to hang out and have a drink. I tried their peanut butter bowl which was very good but their banana bread is the star of the menu! Their home made chai is also very nice. Staff is attentive as well and they have many activities going on like live music!

The best french toast of my life! The toast is stuffed with gooey warm peanut butter and chocolate and then topped with a small scoop of jam. It is so good we couldn’t stop going back. The atmosphere is awesome and a great place to get some work done. All of the workers of the restaurant are super kind as well!

I come here daily for at least one meal since I’m staying at the hotel next door. The food and drinks are delicious, both locally and globally inspired. The staff, Julieta and Maria are super friendly and helpful. My current faves: - pinto bowl - Vietnamese iced coffee - cold pressed beet, lemon, pineapple juice - also tried the local mahi mahi burger last night and it was bomb! Don’t miss out on Somos!

Somos is the perfect place for solo and group travelers looking for a place to call home away from home. The rooms are fantastic (I utilized the double king suite and loved it), the food in the cafe is amazing, and the drinks are refreshing. I think what really differentiated Somos from other places I have stayed at was the staff which was always receptive, smiling and made me feel at home during my solo stay there (I stayed for about 4 nights). Beach access is available walking distance from the hotel where you can also rent surf boards. Overall, it is the place to be if you are traveling to Santa Teresa. There was a party the night I checked in (Thursday night) and it was great because the bar was connected via a staircase to the rooms thus easily accessible but not overly loud. Fantastic stay, fantastic people. 10/10 would recommend. Camilo, Camilla, Catalina, front desk staff, bar staff - thank you!

Easily one of the best businesses in Santa Teresa. Stayed in the hotel part for a few nights in the beginning and end of my trip. Rooms are the cleanest I’ve seen, comfortable, cozy. Staff is incredibly kind and helpful. Thank you so much. Also, the restaurant has truly delicious food. I recommend the fried calamari, ceviche, and breakfast burrito.
Josh Tal — Google review
Really nice cafe/restaurant/bar Breakfasts are delicious. Dinner is good too but lack of vegetarian option (in my opinion, I’m vegetarian). Coffee is really good, probably the best in Santa Teresa (with Kaukau). Staff is really friendly. Many events, chill during the day, party during the night. A bit more expensive compared to the rest of Santa Teresa, but quality is definitely here. Laptop friendly with some power outlet and good wifi. Cool like store beside with clothing, boards, surf related articles. Recommend!

Love this place! Atmosphere, service, great food and drinks, even had a good live band playing last night. Been dropping in for fresh juices, light bites & cocktails so far but everything looks delicious being served. Best ceviche I’ve had so far.

If you are a surfer or want to catch some waves and be around the best vibe hotel , this is the place!! The best combination for a friends surf trip , or couples that want to surf!! Restaurant is amazing , and the staff is very kind!! We will come back for sure !! Loved it ❤
Sun Seekers — Google review
The vibe of this place was amazing every time we walked by. Live music, chill, and gorgeous architecture. Unfortunately, it was a complete dud when it came to our dining experience. We sat down and ordered drinks and they immediately gave us the check. No chance to order food. The two spicy margaritas were great, the double vodka soda with lime juice was a single, and the bottle of sparkling water never showed up (only a small cup of bubbles even though we were billed for it). The waiter only came back once and asked if we were paying with cash or card. Never asked about food and never brought the sparkling bottle when asked about it. Bummer. Lots of potential.

The staff is nice and the location looks good, but I wouldn’t recommend to rent your board there. My son made a tiny ding to the tail that an ounce of glue and a quick sanding could fix. I was charged $60 for that!!! What a rip-off TBH. $20 would be an acceptable price. Also, a heads up when renting the board would have been appreciated. Specially when they also charge a $45 deposit… When you rent boards isn’t that supposed to cover small wear and tear? You can easily find another place where using your board isn’t going to cost you more than the listed price. !

This was one of our favorite lunch spots in Santa Teresa. Creative combinations of sandwiches and great natural juices options. The staff is very nice, the atmosphere is cool and ideal for a quick stop in between beaches. They also serve breakfast and speciality coffee. Don’t hesitate to try. 💚
Catarina Terenas — Google review
We didn’t stay here, but ate/drank here probably 10 times. Such great food and staff and a great home base when you’re in Santa Teresa. It can get hot and rainy here and this was our oasis for a coffee or good meal/drink. We even booked some tours through them and they were beyond gracious with flexibility when I unexpectedly got sick for one day. Highly recommend this spot/group during your travels here. Thank you Somos staff! You were awesome!
Laura von Wahlde — Google review
The avocado toast was a savory delight, paired impeccably with slightly tart sourdough, two perfectly poached eggs, and the freshest arugula. The flat white coffee achieved the perfect balance between milk and espresso. The staff's super-friendly, welcoming, and attentive service, combined with the great ambiance, ensures I'll be returning for more. Highly recommend!
Melinda McManus — Google review
This was a fun spot to enjoy drinks. The service was good but not amazing. The food was also good. It was an overall good experience. The drinks were ok, but wasn’t made right. It was an old fashioned but had a tone of star anise flavor. The vibe was very cool and the people friendly. We only had dinner here.
David Costa — Google review
Didn’t stay here but came for dinner. Lovely place with a cute vibe and great service. Unfortunately the food we ordered was quite bland. We had the fish tacos and shrimp with crispy rice. Both were really under seasoned. Lots of potential though as the ingredients were really fresh!
Tess S — Google review
Food is okay, but not great honestly. I had the Tropical Mahi Mahi. The quality of the fish was good but the rest of the plate very plain. Drinks very diluted and instead of the Happy Hour Rum punch I got some Gin mix, so apparently the waiter didn’t know the deal of the day. For the price, I would definitely recommend to go somewhere else in Santa Teresa. So not worth it!
Ann-Kristin — Google review
Hostel actually looks like fun and good place to stay, but didn’t stay here this time. Maybe next time… Food Quality: food was quite nice. In general very tasty and freshly made. Good ingredients and was not disappointed at all. Portions: quite nice filling portions. Drinks: lots of delicious healthy smoothies. The only one i felt was lacking was the Açai smoothie, felt a bit diluted and not enough açai taste. Price: $$-$$$ quite decent compared to other local places and good value for money. Service: very friendly staff. Quite good service. Atmosphere: awesome relaxed environment. Lots of space and different seating styles. Perfect for relaxing and having a good meal. Highlights: food and smoothies Things to improve: more açai in the smoothie would be awesome. Payment Method: cash, cc
Andres Capurro — Google review
Consistently excellent ingredients, preparation and service. The staff are upbeat and professional, the drinks delicious, and the vibe is a mix of surfers emerging from the waves, northerner non-surfers in display of skin with a touch too much sun, epicureans recharging with first class coffee, and digital natives ambiguously in their devices. The quality is at a standard that would delight seasoned travelers accustomed to the better juice bars and organic-adjacent cuisines of plein-air cafes, where in a courtyard with a diaphanous corrugated roof is a gleaming airstream retrofitted with a late-model vitamix and a high-end espresso machine, all of this being the new normal in destination beach towns.

Ani's Bowls and Salads is a popular spot in the Santa Teresa beach community, offering a timeless space with an outdoor patio surrounded by lush greenery. The industrial-style decor features medium wood tables and black metal finishings. It is known for its healthy meal options, including smoothie bowls, breakfast bagels, salads, and sandwiches. The cafe offers a variety of breakfast and lunch options but it's best to avoid peak hours.
This place is sooo yummy!!! Liked it so much I came twice. Great veggie and vegan option. Their smoothies are really amazing. Good portions and really nice staff. Both times I went was semi busy, but didn’t have any issues with waiting for food. Highly recommend all the items I got (veggie breakfast burrito, morning sunshine smoothie, and the protein bowl. Would go again if I had more time.

One of the best breakfasts we’ve had in Santa Teresa. Portions are very generous, food is fresh and tasty and the atmosphere is very relaxed. Plus, there’s always cute dogs hanging around, what’s not to love? 🫶🏽
Catarina Terenas — Google review
A lovely little gem in Santa Teresa, with so many delicious vegan and veggie options. Ani’s serves a nice variety of smoothies - I ordered the Rogger Rabbit (papaya, carrot, orange, honey, ginger) and it was so refreshing, all the flavours came together beautifully. To eat, I had the capresse toast, which was delicious. The açai bowl was a lot smaller than expected, though was still filling. The service was okay at first, though upon trying to pay, the waitress seemed more interested in trying to find a song she liked for the speaker, meaning I was waiting for a while with her standing right in front of me at the till. This was clearly the same waitress who kept skipping through the songs during our visit, which made the atmosphere feel quite odd. Overall, the smoothies and food are nice, despite their price, and I’d recommend a visit if you are looking for a dish that is ‘instagrammable’.

We went for a late brekkie and received great service. The food came fast and the sandwich was tasty. The avo toast with extra bacon was very very basic and could use a little upgrade. They had gluten-free bread available, but were sadly out of juices and chai. Maybe next time. Cute breakfast spot!
Lydia C. — Google review
I stopped in for lunch and ordered their poke bowl and I was surprised by the quality of their greens - you can 100% taste the difference, they are sourced fresh daily. The portion is also very big, so for the price point when you consider the quantity and quality, it’s totally worth it.
Jessica R — Google review
Honestly the best meal I’ve had in a long time. The fish taco bowl was so fresh and full of flavor. Our iced lattes were great as well. Slightly expensive but standard with other local restaurants.
Grace Rambeck — Google review
Great place in Santa Teresa for vegan options. The strawberry juice was amazing. We got the Green Goddess sandwich and Protein salad sub tofu for the egg and both were delicious. Great service and atmosphere.
Laura Douglas — Google review
Loved the food! It was a bit pricey but everything around here is pretty similar. I had to dock a star due to the slower service however; my smoothie bowl was brought out so long after my friend’s breakfast so they had finished before I got my bowl. The food was delicious though! Worth the wait. I got the purple bowl and added peanut butter, which i definitely recommend!
Rigby Kennedy (Rkennedy) — Google review
Nice cafe along the main road. Went there many time during my stay. Breakfasts are really good. Lot of different options. The smoothies are really tasty too. Not a fan of the coffee tho, probably would be fine for most of the people, but I’m a bit of a coffee nerd and was a bit disappointed with the taste of the coffees I had there. But other than that everything else I had was really tasty, I definitely recommend the food and smoothies. The staff is really friendly, the atmosphere is really chill. Good wifi and some power outlets. Recommend for a good breakfast after a surf session.

Food was stellar - by far my fave açai bowl. Breakfast burrito was also incredible. Service was really amazing on one visit and a bit slow/less friendly on another. Would still go back
Jessica Wnek — Google review
Went here twice, lunch was a delicious tuna poke bowl & watermelon juice (prices same as FL), came back for a double shot latte and was not impressed paying $13 for a tiny cup. No photo of lunch but I recommend it if you can get a seat.

Very convenient location by the beach to grab a bite, unfortunately the service was extremely rude besides that every small order took too long to be served.

Restaurant
Nestled in Santa Teresa, Banana Beach Restaurant offers a unique and inviting atmosphere with various seating options including swings at the bar. It's a great spot to unwind with friends and family without any additional service charges. The restaurant is known for its social scene and beach parties on Wednesday nights, making it an ideal place to relax during the day or enjoy sunset views before dancing in the sand.
What a shock walking in from the street and parking lot and finding this gem! There was entertainment the night we were there more geared towards the large group of young people, but I definitely enjoyed it, and watching the youngsters enjoy it too! Being on a surfing beach and having access to the best entertainment of all- a magnificent sunset, would have made this place one I'd be sure to tell my friends about anyways.
Jen Murdock — Google review
Very good food, super cool... one of the best in the area, BUT not cheap and small portions. For example, if you order an appetizer, such as the calamari, you'll probably just get like 6 of them... other than that it's pretty cool to stay and watch the surfers and the sunset and the dogs that swim in the ocean. One of the few spots with good music and seating as well. It's a vibe.
Jessica Anbara — Google review
Had a decent dinner at Banana Beach while visiting Santa Teresa. The reviews mentioning rough/slow/lack of service are very TRUE - there are servers everywhere but it felt like no one was serving the tables and it doesn't appear they have a typical service system, so you have to be proactive and advocate for yourself. Once you get their attention, they're much better, but it took us about 25 minutes of being ignored and going to the bar on our own for drinks to figure out the "system" there. We went on a Wednesday night, turns out that's one of their party nights - the place was PACKED and they had a DJ playing music and a fire dancer moving around through the space. We were super lucky and grabbed a seat right before sunset near the bar because after sunset everyone came looking for a seat and there were none to be found. So, pro tip: grab a seat about 20 min before the sun sets... you might not see the sun dip into the horizon, but you'll get your butt in a seat for dinner! The vibe of the space is cool with nice lighting and canopies draped throughout. Attire-wise anything goes from dresses to bathing suits to naked children, ha. The beers were super cold, which was great, and the food was pretty good overall. We tried the margarita pizza and burger - I thought the burger was definitely better than the pizza, personally. I'd also recommend trying to sit just a little closer to the water, as away from the water at the tables and couches near the bar there was little airflow so it was pretty hot.

A lovely place to stop and have a drink or two. The cocktails are creative and delicious! The staff are quick and friendly. The place has a good atmosphere and is mix of young tourists and families. My only issue is the WiFi is only free for an hour, if you're not a hotel guest, which seems a bit stingy and the only place I encountered it in Costa Rica. Nevertheless you're right on the beach so the view should be entertaining enough.
James Holden — Google review
I'm sure this place is busy during dry season. We were here during the beginning of rainy season (June) and it was not that busy in the afternoon. Plenty of seating and the beach was awesome. Food and drinks are more expensive than other spots but this place has a nice vibe, even if it's touristy. The male wait staff (bigger dude, buzz cut) can be a bit standoffish. The lady with her hair up and glasses is friendly. All bartending staff were nice. Drinks and food are both solid.
Michael L — Google review
We had such a fabulous meal here with our family of ten and everything was delicious. Our waiter was excellent, the two for one drinks outstanding and the live music was really good also. The atmosphere is so fun with great lighting, many different types of tables to choose from such as high tops, couch seats, and even swings at the bar. Would love to go back during the day and enjoy the beach lounge chairs.
Kelly Morris — Google review
Fantastic cocktails and gorgeous setting. Definitely a bit pricey but it is a high end place. Staff were so nice and seemed very chilled to just let me hang out. Had hurt my ankle so was so nice to use the huge beach sofa beds!
Kerry Lee — Google review
Food Quality: very tasty. Enjoyed my food quite a bit. Seemed like good fresh ingredients and freshly made. Portions: good portions. Very satisfied. Drinks: a good variety of fruity cocktails both alcoholic or non alcoholic. Price: $$$ pricey cocktails but worth it for the sunset. Service: was a bit slow at first, but once we got their attention it was good and friendly. Even made some good pairing recommendations for some dishes. Atmosphere: amazing location on the beach. Perfect for a sunset dinner. A variety of ways to enjoy it with different seating styles. Highlights: enjoying the sunset with good food and drinks. Things to improve: service could be a bit more attentive to people waving them down to get their attention. Payment Method: cash, cc

The people working here are friendly and the location is an A-list location with a beautiful sunset but the food here is terrible. We ordered some fried squid rings and it was like having a piece of chewing gum with fish taste. The drinks are also quite expensive. I would actually just recommend to buy some beers in the supermarket across the street and drink it on the beach ✌🏼
Annely Meijer — Google review
Amazing and vibrant place for lunch at the beach! Food is terrific! Passinftuit Ale beer was fantastic too! We loved caprese salad, which was super amazing and creative! All raw fish dishes were perfect too, massive recommend🫶🏻

Our favourite place in Santa Teresa! Such great service from Luis who really took care of us. Falafel is delicious and overall atmosphere is hard to beat. All reasonably priced as well and they don’t add on any awkward service charges on top like a lot of ST places do. They have DJ’s, live bands, etc so always something interesting is happening. You can sit, eat or drink and just hop into the water when you’re too hot. Very family friendly as well.
Fiona Man — Google review
Really nice beach front view. They have some good and funky cocktails and drinks. Food was good too. Only downside, one of the night we went they had a “fire show” happening for a few minutes and then the guys came to our table, stopped our conversation and was really insisting for us to give them money, and we refused then they insisted for us to pay them drinks, they were not mean, but in my opinion they were insisting a too much, which always create a weird atmosphere for a moment. Staff taking orders is not the most friendly in Santa Teresa neither, not rude, but not especially friendly neither. I would recommend for the sunset, the drinks, the food, but not for the staff or events/animations.
Nikolas Pulka — Google review
Best beach front club music DJ late night vibe, if that’s what u are after. Didn’t try any food here. Cocktails are lovely.

Amazing food that is priced accordingly, the drinks are strong and the happy hour is all day everyday. Right on the beach, the sound system is top tier and the live music is always good.

We loved it here! Spacious, inviting, delicious, chilling on the beach. Beach Party on Wednesday nights. Great food, coctels and music all the time. Awesome breakfast starting at 8am. Highly recommend the breakfast for two Israel's style. Maravillosa la atención‼️

Great beach on the sand of the beach. Cabana type seating and lounges for eating. Very good food. A little pricey but not too bad. Good and drinks are high quality.

This is a great place to watch the sunset and grab a drink, and after to get something to eat at a table. On certain days they have a DJ and the atmosphere is great. The service is sometimes a bit slow but generally all super polite.

Eat Street in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica is a vibrant dining experience offering a variety of delicious options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The food market features Mexican cuisine, healthy bowls, tacos, craft cocktails, and more. It's slightly pricier than other places in the area but offers generous portion sizes and quality food. This upscale food court is perfect for satisfying everyone's cravings with its diverse range of offerings including burritos, mushroom burgers, smoothie bowls and more.
My favorite restaurant in Santa Teresa! I'm a vegan (I just thought you should know :) and this place has you covered! I ordered the lentil mango bowl which was so tasty, I still think of it. But what really makes this place stand out is their impeccable service staff. They're so professional and courteous. I took the experience to a whole new level. Also, their craft Costa Rican beers are very good!

Visited this place with my family, just because we were hungry and it looked good. At first view I felt the prices a bit high….burger and fries for my daughter and a couple of bowls for my wife and me. Once we tasted we understood the price was because of the amazing flavor. Burger with great flavor, and the bowls took me to the flavor of Thai food.. definitely delicious. Ambient, nothing to highlight. Price: a bit high Flavor: quite good.

Very nice place for any time, since breakfast to lunch and dinner. They have different counters serving (i) breakfast until 11:30, (ii) Mexican food since 12:00, (iii) healthy food since 11:30, (iv) drinks in the afternoon. There is one unique big hall and you can order from many spots and take your seat. It’s a bit pricy but definitely in line with Santa Teresa prices.

This place is simply the best hence why it’s so busy. Lots of great establishments in Santa Teresa but this one covers all types of food. Snacks, bowls, tacos, tequila, dessert, etc.! (get the chocolate cake from the cafe, it’s to DIE for). Do yourself a favour and come enjoy Eat Street. My only regret is we didn’t stop in here sooner!

This place has amazing food!! I ordered the Tuna & Veggie bowl and it had incredible flavor. My friends ordered the Ahi Tuna Poke bowls.. very good! Huge portions too! We are already planning on coming back before the end of our trip. Highly recommend!!

Ate here a few times. Good selection and was never disappointed with food. The cocktails are well crafted and very appeasing! For me, this is an easy place to order and eat. However - I think there are plenty of better options in Santa Teresa.

I really enjoyed my ahi tuna poke bowl that I ordered to go for lunch - the combination of flavours with the pineapple and radish was quite tasty. I also found the their portion size to be quite generous. I would say that it the dressing for the bowl would have had a much better flavour if it had a bit of lime, but it was still quite good.

Had two great meals at Eat Street. The mah mahi curry bowl and the tuna burrito - both so good! Service was quick and friendly. Everything was cooked fresh.

Cute market with different mini restaurants to try. We went to Nomad twice and had some tacos and a burrito. Really yummy! Tried Happy Bowls on another day and had a chicken terriyaki and green curry. The terriyaki was very saucey, to the point where it was like a stew. Though tasty I didn’t love the consistency. My partner really enjoyed the curry though.

We tried a few different meals at different times. Amazing place with food from breakfast to dinner. Food Quality: most of our dishes were very good. Amazing tastes and combination of products. Seemed like everything used was always fresh and carefully selected. The only product I was not happy with, were the tacos. But recommend everything else. Portions: very nice portions. Great for choosing a lighter healthy breakfast of even a full local style breakfast to last for the day. Drinks: many options. Each place has a variety of drinks, plus there is a full bar option for more advanced requests. Price: $$$ a bit pricey overall, but seems to be the local prices. Still worth it for the quality of food. Service: many friendly people working and assisting with the orders. Breakfast is full table service, while the other meals you order at each counter and it is brought to your table using the beeper device. Atmosphere: amazing location. Lots of space and ventilators on the roof to help move some fresh air during the hot days. Very relaxed and chilled environment. Highlights: food, location, chilling and eating. Payment Method: cash, cc

This place reminded me of home. This restaurant is where you go up to different food vendors and get to choose from various types of cuisines. We had the tacos and a poke bowl, both were beautiful. The drinks were also excellent! The atmosphere was relaxed and if you fancy a quick relaxed meal outside of standard sit down dining I suggest you visit this place.

LOVE this place! Great variety of menu options, delicious food, and fun vibes! It's like a food hall with 4 different places to get food, drinks, desserts, and coffee. We ordered the Nomad Burrito, the Happy Curry Noodle Bowl with Mahi Mahi, a Fruit Smoothie, and a Wild Ginger Mocktail, YUM! Can't wait to go again, probably tomorrow! =)

Just an ok experience. The ahi tuna didn’t have any flavour despite being marinated. The tacos were fine, nothing delicious or bad tasting. It’s expensive for what you get. For some reason you’re supposed to tip before you get your food and experience the service. There’s hand sanitizer available at the counter.

This place is a straight up vibe! So cute no matter what time of day you go! Morning, lunchtime, evening! Everything I’ve tried here is delicious and I’ve come back multiple time so trust me! Breakfast Burrito is a must try! Any of their juices and matcha and chai are soooo good! And then the toast! Drool worthy! Thank you for the cutest spot in Santa Teresa!

Convenient place for groups. It’s like 4 places in one. You have a cafe, two restaurants and a bar in the same square. Lot of option, food is good, the cocktails are nice too. It definitely have a more “commercial” feeling than most of the other restaurants in Santa Teresa. It doesn’t have this friendly feeling that the other places have. The menu says that 10% tips is already included but staff will ask you to add tips and If you don’t they will really show you that they are not happy with you. Not the most welcoming place but it is convenient for group of friends, and the quality of the food is definitely good.

We really enjoyed our dinner there. The tacos from Nomad were super fresh and tasty and the crispy fries were some of the best we’ve ever had! Everyone was super friendly and there were a lot of ceiling fans so it wasn’t too hot, compared to other places. The cocktails were also really good!

Great place for options with a nice atmosphere out of sun and nice service. Had the Pink Bowl at Sunrise Cafe yesterday, pricey for size ($13 usd) but delicious, also wouldn’t take my costa bills saying they’re “old” and only take new bills (that cost them their tip). Today I brought my fiancé and we had Happy Bowls; burrito bowl (good), eggplant milanesa (very good), and ceviche (gross)…very disappointed as presentation looks good but whoever cleaned the fish left in blood line and skin, possibly barracuda, tried 3 different bites holding in dry heaves and chugging the beers we bought...DO NOT GET CEVICHE. Total bill $55 usd included 10% tip. Will be back to try Nomad food next. NOTE: the passion fruit beer is a different price at each place, weird.

it’s very expensive, $15-25 cad a meal minimum but everything i had there was sooooo good. I can recommend the pina colada, banana coffee, peanut butter bliss ball, the best choco cake I’ve ever had, green curry noodle bowl and tofu Buddha bowl. Would eat every meal there if it was in the budget!

Very cool spot with different food truck style spots surrounding a central yard with seating. There's definitely something for everybody to enjoy with a wide range of menu options. If you're just looking for drinks, there is a lounge/bar area as well. Service was quick, and food was great quality. No table service, you walk up, order, and your disc buzzes when your food is ready. No fuss, and easy. As always, cute dogs roaming around looking for a treat or two to drop as well!

Restaurant
La Cevicheria is a Peruvian restaurant that specializes in ceviche and other traditional dishes. They use locally caught seafood to support local families and offer a vegetarian option for their ceviche. The restaurant is open every day except Sunday, serving lunch and dinner from noon to 9 p.m. Customers have praised the freshness and deliciousness of the food, particularly highlighting the passion fruit juice and the ceviche tico with mahi and shrimp.
100% recommend La Cevicheria to everyone! The Peruvian ceviche was simple and loaded with delicious flavor (the avocado was cut beautifully but I bit into it before I remembered to take photo) and the whole grilled fish (red snapper was the catch of the day) was UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The service was excellent, Carlos and Andre were very attentive, warm welcoming and made a mean margarita :)

Their ceviche is out of this world. Different delicious and spicy. Boy that 5 was not a 5 over 10. It was super spicy i still enjoyed it. However the dishes we ordered other than that were lacking in terms of flavor and freshness. Especially the lobster smothered with that sauce to hide what??? A disappointment and disrespect to the lobster in general. the shrimp was good but i wouldn't give it very good or excellent. Am not sure about the other dishes but the fries and the ceviche are very good other wise i would have dropped it to 3 star review. Service is excellent and attentive and the staff are kind and sweet. I went the other day as well but i had only the ceviche and asked for no heat :)

Food Quality: catch of the day was a red snapper, definitely very fresh and tasty. Good combination of ingredients to pair with the fish. Portions: usually several sizes available of the fish according to your appetite, each with its price of course. Patacones I was a bit disappointed, was expecting a bit larger portion as an extra order. Drinks: a few good options on juices, soft drinks and other alcoholic beverages. Price: $$ very decent pricing for a whole grilled fish. Service: friendly and very helpful. Atmosphere: cozy open area with several tables. Also a bar to sit on looking out. Highlights: good fresh sea food. Payment Method: cash, cc

Absolutely go here! So many different ceviche options - three sizes, pick whatever seafood for each one or do a combo, pick how spicy. For 2 people, we got 3 medium ceviches and that was perfect. Service was amazing. Carlos was so friendly and the ambiance is perfect, right off the road

A lovely place to indulge your pescetarian cravings! They serve fresh seafood and outbursting with flavours! We had by far the best ceviche which was with passion fruit, kind and mango. We also had the grilled whole catch of the day fish. They are all amazingly cooked well. Andres and Yorgan were friendly and gives great recommendation depending on what you're looking for! Great people makes great places!

We had an amazing dinner here, the ceviche was great and the red snapper was even better! Andres helped us out with recommendations and made the experience perfect! Will come back here again!

Unbelievably delicious and fresh! Keep in mind that a small is still pretty large - would order 2 small instead of 3. Tuna poke is amazing!

We loved everything here! The food was truly delicious and the waiters were super nice. The mixed seafood ceviche was the best one we’ve had in Costa Rica and the whole grilled fish was just mind blowing. After three weeks of traveling this country this was by far the best dinner we had. Would definitely recommend! PS: I’m still dreaming about the green sauce they put on the grilled fish!

The man serving was really friendly and helpful. We are a large fish cerviche to share. (There is a current deal which includes a beer or jugo). This was sufficient for us as it comes with 3 patacones. We had the tico flavour which was yummy (5 spice level is spicy enough!). We ordered an extra side of patacones for 2000 for 3 patacones. We went back the next day and had the fish croquet instead of the patacones. This was also yummy but costs a little more.

The best experience we had in Santa Teresa. Staff was amazing, food was outstanding. Highly recommended. Both ceviches were so fresh. The whole fish was also tasty

We ordered the Tuna Poke and another ceviche, both of which were delicious, and the service was excellent. The cuisine certainly didn't disappoint. However, we found it a bit pricey when compared to other restaurants or Soda serving the same locally sourced fish and seafood.

Fantastic spot for fresh fish! We had the Peruvian ceviche and tuna poke and both were phenomenal! Highly recommend checking this spot out if you’re in ST

Best meal of my trip. I had the ceviche and fish and it was amazing. The atmosphere felt welcoming and warm, I wanted to stay at talk for hours. The food matched the impeccable energy of the staff. Andrea’s served us, and he was so friendly and happy. Made the experience that much better as well. Definitely would recommend, and I will be coming back !!

Dinner here was fresh and tasty. Ordered mixed seafood ceviche, grilled red snapper and stir fry. All dishes were delicious. Portions were very large (even though we took the medium dishes and the smallest fish). Very attentive, friendly service. Highly recommended!

This was an incredible meal. Everything was so fresh and delicious. I had a passion fruit juice (AMAZING) and the “ceviche tico” ( also AMAZING). I had the medium size, medium spicy with mahi and shrimp and it was so good. They serve it with fried plantains which was the perfect accompaniment. It was so fresh and delicious and just a refreshing meal in general. I thought the portion was a good value. Sure you can have less expensive food, but I doubt it would be nearly as enjoyable. The service was excellent, super friendly and I discovered that it is tico owned and employed, which i like to support. It was very clean and they were playing good music. I’m going again tomorrow for the poké bowl and have to return for the ceviche at least one more time. I never leave reviews, but I loved it so much , I had to😊 I also really want to try their whole grilled fish!
