Terrible experience booking with them. The transfer from the hotel never came. We called the tour guide at 5.50 he said the car is on its way... Then the car was supposedly in front of the hotel but then the car was broken. We organised another transport and cancelled all bookings with them. They blamed it on another company not taking any action or responsibility regarding us. Fortunately our hotel was much more reliable and organised our transfer in urgency.

Was ich besonders gut fand war, dass explizit auf die Verhaltensweisen gegenüber den Schildkröten hingewiesen wurde (nicht anfassen/die Tiere nicht bedrängen etc.). Das ist ja offenbar leider nicht jedem bekannt. Der zweite Ausflug führte uns ans Samadai-Riff. Auch hier waren wir eine kleinere Truppe auf der Yacht. Diese war sauber und großzügig mit Sonnendeck etc. Wir schnorchelten dort eine Weile in der Lagune und haben am Ende tatsächlich mit Delfinen schwimmen können. Alles ohne die Tiere zu stören. Hierauf wird ein besonderes Augenmerk gelegt, was wir große Klasse fanden. Etwas später ging es für einen zweiten Schnorchelgang ans Riff, was auch sehr beeindruckend war. Der Guide und die ganze Crew waren einsame Spitze! Abschließend gab es ein sehr leckeres Mittagessen in Form eines Buffets. Kaffee, Tee, Wasser und Softdrinks waren im Preis inbegriffen. Weil uns das alles so gut gefallen hat, entschieden wir uns, am Folgetag mit René ins "Hakuna Matata" in Port Ghalib zu gehen. Abends holte uns der Fahrer ab und fuhr uns zur Marina. Vor Ort erlebten wir megaklasse Livemusik und anschließend einen sehr guten DJ und genossen den Abend mit René und seinen anderen Gästen bei leckerem Essen und Cocktails. Beide Steigenberger Hotels sind schon bekannt für ihr sehr gutes Essen, aber das setzt allem eine Krone auf! Hier wird mit Liebe und Leidenschaft gekocht, geschmacklich ein tolles Erlebnis! Selbst das Gemüse beim Rindersteak, welches ich wärmstens empfehlen kann, traumhaft. Der Service steht dem Essen auch in keinster Weise nach. Also wer hier dem Basilico keinen Besuch abstattet ist selber Schuld!
