Auberge Chez Pierre is a charming hotel nestled in Morocco, offering cozy rooms, a welcoming restaurant, and an inviting outdoor pool. Guests rave about the impeccable service, cleanliness, and comfort provided by the local staff. The property boasts stunning gardens and is situated amidst the breathtaking Atlas mountains. Visitors praise the delectable food served at the warm restaurant and enjoy lively Berber music during dinner.
We spent 6 weeks in Morocco, and this hotel is hands down the best one we visited! Even by American standards, it is excellent! Impeccable service, cleanliness, and comfort. The food is literally to die for and the Berber music they play at dinner is so fun. The property and gardens are gorgeous. And the staff are so kind! But the best thing about this place is that it is owned and operated by locals. No foreigners work here, although the chef was trained in Spain. So the cuisine is a Morocco European fusion.

We spent three wonderful nights at Chez Pierre. The location, right by Dades Gorge, gives you absolutely stunning views. All the food was amazing for all the meals, and the service was impeccable. We had some dietary restrictions in our party, and they had no problems modifying the menu accordingly. The room was beautiful, and my only complaint is that it was too cold to use the swimming pool. Would absolutely recommend Chez Pierre to anyone.

We went there for dinner - „surprise dinner“. It was more than a surprise for a very very very good price (also surprising): Sitting on the romantic terrace of the old clay castle, we got 5 courses, each special, spectacular taste and beautifully put together. The staff perfectly found the way between politeness, distance and niceness. Much to recommend and would always come back!

Beautiful rustic property - feels like you've been transported back in time and to a beautiful hillside property. The room's cozy and comfortable but the best part is the property itself and the food. The property is very beautiful with flowers everywhere. We had 2 dinners and breakfast here. The dinners are simply outstanding with 5 courses.

The beautiful location, the great guided tour in the Dades valley, the fantastic hammam, the beautiful room, the delicious diner, the best breakfast, the perfect service, the super crew, everything was perfect and the best total experience of our trip. Thank you Nouriddine for everything, we'll be back - inshallah!

This was our favourite stay in Morocco even though it was only for one night! I wish we were here a little bit longer but oh well :( this is a truly luxurious stay - a beautiful hotel with a view of the mountains. Five star service and the dinner and breakfast was amazing!! The room we got was huge and so romantic with its own fireplace. Don’t hesitate booking this place! As for cons, the service availability could’ve been better. When we arrived, we had to wait some time for the receptionist to arrive and then when we checked out the next day, we had to carry our bags down ourselves and they have a lot of stairs. Not very accessible and for a place that charges much, I expected some more help. I do think their price could be a little lower but I also understand why they charge so much for such a big place.

It's one of the prettiest hotels you'll stay in. Food is by far the best we've had in morocco. It was amazing. Staff were beyond friendly. If you read a bad review on this place, it's most likely the customer is having a bad day. This place will not disappoint. The only negative is no aircon. However, we had a fan and windows open, problem solved.

We had a great stay Chez Pierre. Location couldn’t be better - just before the zigzags of the Dades Gorge. Nourri made us feel very welcome. He helped us with planning our hikes and even arranged for our trip to Merzouga / Erg el Chebbi. Breakfast was sumptuous and the staff very attentive and hospitable. Rooms are simple but tastefully decorated. They even accommodated our vegetarian dietary requirements.

After driving switchback roads through the magnificent Dades gorge mountains, there's no better spot to relax and cozy up than Chez Pierre. Walking through the large wooden door over worn bricks, you're transported to a mix of the French Riviera and Morocco. We had tea when we arrived in the wood stove-heated dining room (more on that later) while our bags were brought to our room. This place is cozy through and through. While we didn't have time for the on-site hammam/spa for our short one night stay, it's a great amenity to have! Our (very nice) bathroom also had some traditional 'savon noir' that's used in the hammam, so we were able to treat ourselves to a spa-like experience in the tidy room decorated with lush Berber rugs. Dinner was an exquisite experience. The dining room was lit by candles and by the glow of the wood-burning stoves as our server brought a wine and cocktail list - which is hard to come by in Morocco! I had a fantastic gin and tonic followed by a great bottle of red which the server chose at the chef's recommendation. There was no dinner menu, but rather we were treated to a tasting menu of French/Moroccan delicacies. Breakfast the next morning (see picture) was just as remarkable with a decadent spread of breads, jams, cheeses, and more. Highly recommend!

Extraordinary place! Lovely terrace garden, great traditional inspired architecture and rooms! The staff is really really nice there and we got the best dinner of the whole trip under the starry sky! Unfortunately we spent only one night there. The stunning view at sunrise I won't forget...

We arrived after dark and it was just magical with the beautiful lighting and the winding staircases to the rooms. The room itself was decorated with wonderful Moroccan vibes - a great mix of tradition and contemporary. The service was impeccable and friendly. Price/value was amazing. Only disappointments were: - UNHEATED pool was much too cold to use during our April visit (literally impossible to enter the water due to water temps). - Dinner was delicious and plentiful but we came to Morocco for Morrocan cuisine and the food appeared to be more French in style. We would have appreciated that at least the main course be Moroccan. We would still go back and would encourage others to visit, but we hope the hotel takes note of the two disappointments as the experience would have been MUCH better with a heated pool and Morrocan food.

One of the most beatiful hotels i ever been. Dinner is chef dinner, very tasty - 250 dirham a person. Average breakfast. The water in the pool r very cold. Excellent service. No AC and tv in the rooms. Accept only cash.

We were looking forward to this hotel given their exceptional reviews on Google. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the following things: 1. Bugs in the room including the bed. 2. Broken bathroom window (possibly where the bugs were coming from) 3. No AC or fan in the room 4. Could not lock the bathroom door from the inside. Relied on the person outside to close it properly. 5. Bedding had multiple stains (not sure if it was cleanliness-related or just the dye. Outside of our actual room, the other areas of the hotel were very nice. The private patio was a nice addition where we could stargaze at night.

One of our favorite hotels so far in Morocco! They have a beautiful terrace perfect for chilling and the highlight was Mohamed who is very welcoming and hospitable. We had a great laugh and definitely will come back!

An absolute 10/10! The ultimate combination of amazing nature, the property is situated literally on the rocks of the Atlas mountain, class and style, tradition, hospitality, amazing food and brilliant service! The many private and shared terraces offer an amazing experience at night under millions of bright stars enhancing even more the eternity of the magical mountains. The rooms are a delight for all senses! Couldn’t recommend more!

What truly sets this place apart is the warm hospitality of the owner and his family, who go above and beyond to make guests feel welcomed and appreciated.
Thank you for the nice stay. The rooms are very cosy, clean, warm everything was fine. The food is very good, we had the pozza marocaine. Very friendly and welcoming people.

I stopped here after a long hike and soon wished that I was staying here! Mohammed was so kind and generous and hospitable, he prepared me the most delicious pizza, and his kindness after a long day in the mountains was really touching to receive. I ate in the beautiful garden, but the whole place looks amazing to be honest. Would highly recommend.

We booked the room the same day late at night. The host welcomed us and was happy to provide us with tea and dinner. The pizza was great as well as the atmosphere. The room was heated even with a very short notice, the water was hot and it was clean and comfy. We had a wonderful stay, highly recommended Riad.

TOURIST TRAP, AVOID. On average more than 170DH per person which is excessively expensive. I'm sorry for making this review but I want to make sure everyone knows about the prices and the portions of this restaurant. This has been the most expensive restaurant I've been to in morocco. And I did not go cheap in all the restaurants. First, they receive you very friendly and invite you to go to their private garden. Which is good, however it's not that private if you are with other customers too. We were a big group, however they were terribly slow in everything. About the food, we ordered some pizza (which did not have bad taste), three salads to share, a tagine which was for 4 people (mandatory) and brochettes, among others. Overall, the quantities were terribly small. Each one of the servings contained a very small amount where we ended up hungry. The tagine portions were extremely small. That tagine was for 2 people at most, not for 4. The salad, since they served three plates (and we were 9) it was understandable that each one ate a very small portion, but they charged for all people. Finally we ordered some fruits as dessert, which were very average, literally food from a supermarket chopped and put in a bowl. As for other services, the bathroom was in a very bad condition. Well it wasn't a bathroom at all but rather a hole in the floor. With some cleaning tools in the middle of the way. Also, the water coming from the tap was brown??! I hope they didn't use the same water for cooking. Finally, after some hours (a very large amount of wait time) we were ready to leave. Here is where the surprise appeared. The bill. Which didn't make sense as they were prices like in the US, but without matching the quality, quantity or service. And for sure didn't match a Moroccan restaurant price, event for tourists. They charged us 360DH for the tagine?! 9 portions of salad (even that they served three plates for nine people, which ended up in little portions) totalling 360DH for salads? 90DH for their "Moroccan pizza". 40DH for a brochette, which was literally some small pieces of chicken that I can make faster and cheaper at home. 35DH for what I think that is the fruits, because the receipt they gave is unreadable (see image). On average more than 170DH per person which is excessively expensive. I'm sorry for the owners because this review makes an impact, but you shouldn't scam like that. I don't usually make these kinds of reviews, but I think everyone should be aware of what this restaurant does.

Beautiful family run restaurant and hotel with stylish cozy rooms in Dades Gorge. The room had a private balcony in the gorge and the food was delicious as well. The best part was the owner and his family who were tremendously kind to us— it was my birthday when i stayed here and they made me a birthday cake and celebration. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for an authentic, peaceful, tranquil time in the mountains. Thank you for everything, i had an amazing time.

We came to Marhaba initially to have just a lunch and taste their pizza and we eventually did a trekking with Farid ! :) We were alone at the restaurant and came late in the afternoon and they made us a very good pizza and coffee with a special ingredient (rosemary): was really good. As we wanted to do a small trek in the Dades area, Farid offered us to serve as a guide and we went for a 1.5h trek in the mountains. Amazing experience melting culture, thoughts sharing and some history ! Thanks a lot

Mohamed and hist family are the best hosts you’ll ever get!! So generous and welcoming. The location is astonishing; 10min from the gorgeous gorge and surrounded by wonderful mountains! At night, you could watch the milkyway from the rooftop! Thank you so much! All love 💕🙏

You can eat a very nice Berber pizza here. It is a small place and it serves a pizza full with vegetables, pieces chicken and kefta. Or only veggies if you prefer. We had the pizza for a late lunch and we were full for the rest of the day. We didn't need diner after this. It is a different pizza than you used to but it is a great one for sure.
