Anse Dufour is a popular spot in Martinique, known for its simple white-sand beach and various water activities such as swimming, snorkeling, and boating. If visiting during high season, it's recommended to arrive early due to the small size of the beach. Snorkelers can explore the coral area on the right side of the bay where there is an abundance of sealife including sponges, chimneys, and turtles.
Wow. Great snorkeling over a small reef with many fish. Then we found the turtles. Fantastic. Two points, it gets busy and you have to park on the hill side road approaching the beach. It's a long walk back. But it is worth it. A must do

Nice beach, not toooo busy if you get there before midday. Visibility for snorkelling is pretty good, much better than anse noire. Saw a turtle!!! Very shallow.. Lots of fishes! Beware of stingers, theres a few and can be a bit of a surprise if you're not expecting it. Free parking if you can find a space!
Sarah Smith — Google review
Enjoyed a lovely day at the beach with fine sand and crystal clear water! There are plenty of shops, restaurants and public toilets around. A public parking lot is available for the maximum of 12 €/day.

One of my top spots in Martinique. If you are visiting in high season, then you should go as early as possible as this is a small beach. Get lost snorkeling in coral area on the right side, with plenty of sealife, sponges, chimneys... also a lot of turtles. Please do not disturb the turtles (and sea life), we are in the invaders in this natural spot, just observe and enjoy. Unluckily tourism has made an impact and there are not as many turtles as it should be.
Jesus Centenero Mari — Google review
Five stars for the opportunity to see green turtles, don't come to the beach without a snorkel gear! Sad however that many tourists does'nt follow the rules and respect the turtles privacy. Beside the snorkel, there is not much too it, the beach is small and I have seen better ones on the island. Resturants available, parking can sometimes be a nightmare.

Beautiful quiet anchorage. Great snorkeling.
Wanda Rosatti — Google review
We saw a sea turtle here in early afternoon on two different days. It’s a beautiful little cove with less of a climb down than Anse Noir. There were jellyfish in the water the second time we were there. Parking can be rough.
Carrie Wagler — Google review
Great small beach. Unfortunately I didn’t meet turtles

Sea turtles EVERYWHERE! I was very surprised how many sea turtles I could actually spot here. Before lunch time it's quite crowded tho and full of plastic garbage.

Anse Noire, a tranquil inlet that is popular among divers and snorkelers, boasts a boat dock and a picturesque black-sand beach. Though smaller in size than Anse Doufur, it offers ample shade during the day barring the afternoon when the sun sets directly in front of it. The bay features an active underwater scene where one can spot turtles and observe pelicans fishing.
A fantastic little bay in which to anchor. Can get busy but on a quiet day is so tranquil. A black sand beach and fantastic snorkeling with turtles.
Steve Bannister — Google review
I strongly do NOT recommend this beach. It looks intimate and there’s not as much people as in Anse Dafour but that’s probably because it’s dirty - feces included. The water is not as clear as in other bays nearby and the beach is stony. There’s no proper car park near so the road is crowded - you have to leave the car far away and go down in full sun. After being disgusted by the beach and going back to car - be prepare for a very long hot walk uphill without any shade. The worst beach in Martinique I have been to so far.
Zuzia Nik — Google review
Beautiful! The black sand glitters in the sun, what a spectacle. There are steps to go down to the beach, between 5-10 mins.
Paola M — Google review
A pretty spot with a long stairway down to the water. There is a kayak rental place. The day we were there, the water was unfortunately murky and dirty, and full of jelly fish.
Carrie Wagler — Google review
Beautiful beach! Few fishes around but we didn't see any turtles. There were absolutely loads of little stingers in the ocean.. Particularly bad each side of the bay by the rocks with all the fish. Not sure if its seasonal but weren't aware at all of it. Anse dufour, the beach on the other side had a couple but nowhere near as many! Just beware!!!
Sarah Smith — Google review
Amazing beach. It's the little sibling of Anse Doufur, but with black sand. You will find shade but not in the afternoon because the sun sets directly in front of the beach. Sometimes you can see turtles here as well, and there is a livelier underwater scene than in Anse Dufour. Make sure to check out the pelicans and the way they fish!

Ok you have to go their, but please, take a trash bag and take all as much as you can all the stuff on floor or in the water. Tourists/local are pigs and unrespectful. The worse is the boats guys. They come in bay with motor, stopping as close as possible, afraiding the fish. Come before 9am (time of boats coming) or you will see almost nothing. The local government definitely has to strict rules for those stupid guys

Ti Sable is a restaurant located on the south coast of Martinique, with stunning views of the beach and perfect setting for a romantic night out. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, with generous portions that are sure to satisfy even the biggest appetites. The staff are friendly and welcoming, making it an ideal place to relax after a day at the beach.
Amazing restaurant on the beach. Hire a long lounge chair too in the beach for the day and have cocktails 🍹 from the restaurant. Absolutely delicious fresh food. Book in advance and ask for a cabin (with the sheer curtains as they are more private and comfortable and close to the beach !)
Francois & Pam BELORGEY — Google review
Beautiful restaurant with paradisiaque view. However the service and the food were very disappointing. The waitresses spend more time having fun with their friends than doing their work. The fresh fruit cocktail was very watery and the tataki of tuna was poor quality for the price. A restaurant shouldn’t only try to be a instagram place.

Great restaurant at the far end of the beach. Great food, friendly staff. Good kids menu. Perfect
zebradee2009 — Google review
Perfect location. They have seats in front of the beach, where you can enjoy your drink or to bite something while enjoying the sun and the sea. We booked a table for lunch then. Really tasty and well decorated plates. Carpaccio thon was amazing and acras at their best! Pina colada was one of the best i ever had . I would like some more plates in the menu though. We will come back.

Very nice restaurant! Beautifully situated right next to the beach. Not too crowded, with very nice food and people.
Daria Uziębło — Google review
We needed to wait a bit to get a seat because the people know and love this place. We then sat with direct view to the beach and turquoise blue sea. Dishes are delicious and service was attentive, especially one waiter who was from Dresden, Germany.
Katrin Mulinski — Google review
This is a really good bar and restaurant on the beach. The drinks and service are superb. The food is very good as well. The seafood was fresh and well prepared.
Caleb Bryant — Google review
Try to, plan the perfect day around this establishment. Arrive early to get close parking, otherwise, just pull into the large open field just pass the pedestrian overpass, you can't miss it because that's where the water overflows across the road. They have some beach front chairs, and unbrelles with places change and shower. The garden is undergoing some landscaping, but the shaded tables, two small bar, gift shop and enticing warm ocean views are spectacular. Swim out about a hundred and twenty meters and see the turtles fest on the sea grass. Rest and either swim to the far right of shore or hike to the nature preserve for fantastic snorkeling with five bouyes. Then when you're ready to enjoy some great local fare with your favorite beverage or cocktail. Try the grilled fish (vivaneau rouge) or langouste.

The worst experience ever. We waited for two hours before only one dish came ( we were ten), the dishes were mixed up constantly, the glasses had tinges of lipstick, all the waiters were overwhelmed and rude. Horrible experience.
Eugen Mihai — Google review
Very crowded. A waitress yelled at us. Waited for 2 hours (!) only to get only a part of the dishes. The wine glasses and lipstick stains and the table was sticky.

MUST GO! You can reserve beach chairs ahead and spend a great day drinking and eating next to the best beach in Martinique! Great service with friendly staff. We had a great time!

Payot ti is a gorgeous beachside establishment with a stunning view. It offers a variety of beverages that can be enjoyed while lounging on the shoreline. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and there are no issues with the WiFi connection. The cuisine served at Payot ti is of exceptional quality, with dishes such as tuna tartare and locally smoked fish being particularly recommended.
Warm welcome, great atmosphere and tasty food. Plus you get to sit back and watch the dive school head in and out of the crystal clear waters.

Beautiful bar/restaurant literally right by the beach. You can sip your cocktail or wine while sitting in a sun chair on the beach. Staff is super nice and there’s WiFi without any problems. Food was great as well!

Good food & drinks, great service staff, exceptional view and access to the bleach. When we were waiting for a table, during very busy lunch time, some people cut in front of us and took the table assigned to us. The staff and manager came to bat for us and told the people to wait their turn. Very upstanding folks at Payot ti.

Le Littoral offers delectable cuisine with a pleasant ambiance. While the view is enjoyable, some patrons may find the waiter's excessive phone usage off-putting. The absence of background music detracts from the overall atmosphere. However, it remains an ideal choice for a romantic date or a satisfying meal due to its flavorful dishes and generous portions. The octopus dish features tender meat, while the sheep cotlet boasts a delightful taste.
Excellent! Quick service and stunning views. Food and drink were quality. Staff very personable, polite and professional. Definitely recommend and would return.

Great food, great service. Made a reservation right before they opened and they gave us the best seat in the house!
Ben Marriott — Google review
The food was quite good. The view is nice, but the waiter was playing the most time (with sound!!!!!) on his phone which is quite rude, they don't play any background music, which I missed. It could be a perfect place for going out for a date or a nice meal, but several things are sadly missing. All in all, the food was really good, but I wouldn't go out there for hanging out with friends.

One hour to wait to eat. Food is good but be prepared to wait long time. Some tables got their food before us and when we mentioned this to server she didn't care at all. Disappointed. Apart from that there is nice live music and beautiful view from restaurant.

Creole restaurant
Snack Fredo is a pleasant and laid-back eatery that offers classic Creole cuisine. The server was accommodating and made guests feel welcome, even attempting to communicate in English. The lobster dish was excellent, while the beef ragout impressed with its tender texture. However, the grilled tuna fell short due to improper filleting and an abundance of hairpin bones that diners had to navigate through.
Lovely little Creole restaurant between Anses D’Arlet & Diamand. I had the fricasse fruit de mer and my husband had the langustine; both were fresh and delicious. Although it was a crowded sunday lunch, the service was quite efficient. Very laid back atmosphere. Loved it.

Excelent food. Excelent service. Will come back to try other plats.
Marius Chirila — Google review
I cannot give less than one star, unfortunately. But this was my worst restaurant experience ever. I have been served a lionfish instead of a red mullet by a white French waitress. I speak French pretty well and I have asked and confirmed that what they call poisson rouge (red fish) on the menu is actually a red mullet (Rouget). It might be tasty or good it is simply not what I have ordered. The waitress never apologized and obviously accepted my payment. Very poor service. Stay away from this restaurant.
Khalil Foundy — Google review
Very nice place with classic creole cousine. Great views included!
Fero — Google review
Server was great, he made us feel welcome and tried to speak some English with us. My girlfriend got the lobster which was great. Beef ragout was very tender. I got the grilled tuna, which unfortunately was not filleted properly and had several hairpin bones I had to pick through. Also, not temp offered on the tuna, just fully cooked. We ordered an appetizer that never came. Not sure if it was on the bill. Overall a nice casual place, lots of families, kid friendly.

L'Oasis provides a wonderful dining experience and is worth revisiting when family visits. The cuisine, though casual, is elegantly presented and incredibly tasty. One can enjoy dishes like the fish sandwich and goat cheese salad, both beautifully depicted. Starting with Leffe Blonde beer and Accras adds to the anticipation of each dish being prepared individually. Despite expected wait times, the hostess/server efficiently manages Sunday crowds and kindly accommodates customers without reservations.
This place is a hidden gem! We visited here almost by accident today and were absolutely delighted by the experience. The drinks were superb and the food was out of this world. I had the duck confit ravioli and tuna steak, and they were both phenomenal. My friend had the flambeed cheese and the ceviche. He declared them to both be exceptional. The service was very, very good. It wasn't a problem at all that we don't speak French. Our only regret is that we didn't discover this place earlier in our trip.
Caleb Bryant — Google review
Maybe this used to be a great restaurant. It's not like that anymore. The food quality is average and the food just doesn't look so good anymore. When you consider they are serving raw chicken, best to avoid it. The accras with fish had no sign of fish in them. When i showed them the raw chicken, they offered to cook it again, without even apologizing. Only when i paid, they did deduce the price of the accras from the bill and then they apologized. Covid has taken it's toll on this one

Nice and clean carribien ambient.Good and fresh food from local fisherman.Very friendly and cozy place to visit just 10 meters from beach.

Very good food. The creole salad is just a fantastic tour of creole food with accras, raw tuna and typical creole boudins. It was a bit slow to serve but overall acceptable. I recommend the place. The diner menu is much broader and seems excellent and new food.

We had a great experience and will go back next weekend when our family arrives. Food is elegantly presented for casual fare and delicious. My husband had the fish sandwich and I had the goat cheese salad pictured here. Leffe Blonde beer and Accra’s to start is good as a wait to be served is expected when each dish is prepared one at a time. Hostess/server did an exceptional job managing the the Sunday crowd and was very kind to give us one of the few tables available without a reservation. Top notch experience!
