Such a great place! The service was great. The food was hot and very tasty! The drinks were strong and the decor is beautiful! This is absolutely a 10/10 in my book! Parking can be abit hard but is worth It. Our waiter made the cutest mini video of me and my friend which i loved!! They are so attentive and fun! The bathroom was my favorite decor although there’s sooo many and so much to look at! I also rode the fun trolley with music. That was THE BEST!! Only 250 pesos for a great time and live cool music. You must get on to finish the experience! Overall a must visit place for sure!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently visited this cafe restaurant in Jarabocoa and was absolutely blown away by the experience! The moment I stepped near being greeted by the colorful umbrellas suspended through the air and serene surroundings. The atmosphere was warm, inviting, and filled with positive vibes. The menu offered a delightful variety of food options, from hearty breakfasts to delicious lunches and dinners. What's more, their selection of alcoholic drinks was impressive, with something to suit every taste. I especially enjoyed starting my meal with one of their refreshing cocktails. One thing that sets this place apart is the option to rent motorcycles and 4 wheelers at a good price. It's perfect for exploring the beautiful countryside surrounding Jarabocoa. Whether you're a foodie, an adventurer, or simply seeking a relaxing spot to unwind, this cafe restaurant is definitely worth a visit. I can't wait to return the next time I'm in the area!

This is a must go to spot! Where do I begin. There were a few guys taking some fun photos and videos that was amazing at what they do. Don’t be alarmed when they grab your phone. Trust them they know what they are doing, I’ve learned some new tricks on watching them use my iPhone to capture so epic shots. The atmosphere is very welcoming and friendly. I felt safe there. The drinks were great and the staff was friendly. Make sure to hop on the shuttle they offer around town. It was the best experience of my whole trip to DR we had tons of fun and I 100% recommend coming here if you are ever in the area!

It's a nice, Instagrammable place in the center of Jarabacoa. Pretty noisy, because cars and bikes go by, music and lots of people flock here. The cocktails were good. The service was pretty good too.

Cafe colao has a fun vibe, by the park, right in the middle of town. The food was good and the service was excellent. Lots of cute photo opportunities. 📸 They even have a party bus that gives you a tour around the town.

What a beautiful place, the food was fabulous. I enjoyed the coffee the most. We walked around the fotografic town with the gorgeous umbrellas and had a wonderful time

Beautiful place, but all of our food was cold, the first waiter was probably new and inexperienced and needs more training he was not very attentive. Food should never be served at the temperature that we were served. Our second waiter was understanding to the situation, but it was too late. Our bill was 5000 and we left right after. I was going to do the bus tour but decided not to at all since our food experience was not good at all. The restaurant ambience is more for a younger crowd since most of the waiting staff is young men which were mostly gathered joking around in the front of the restaurant..

Another one of the best restaurants I’ve visited here in the Dominican Republic. The service is one of the best that I’ve experienced here or in the US and the food was fantastic. The majority of the time we were there they played popular regatón songs mixed in with some other kinds of music. In the pictures are the “chicken fingers”, goats meat, and a smiley face next to the cheesecake we ordered. Similar to other restaurants in the area it can be really loud and hard to hear the people you’re dining with when sitting near the road as there are loud bikes and cars blasting music. But it’s a really nice place to eat.

This place is a piece of heaven in Jarabacoa. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. The drinks are awesome and the food is unbelievable. Everything we ordered came out very fast. And the food was top of the line. Definitely will come back here again. PS the guys outside on the street will do an. unbelievable video jjejejje we loved ours.

Took only two Frappuccino’s, were good and strong. English menu, staff knew some english. Colourful street with hanging umbrellas.

Good place in the middle of Jarabacoa town, right next to the park. Good place for those who want to keep centric, and are 'OK' with random loud music coming from the bypassers. Not exactly my favorite type of environment but I can say food is good, and service from Anthony was excellent.

Cafë Colao in Jarabacoa is a large cafe with many areas for cute photo opportunities. The vegetable omelette was very good as well as the pancakes topped with fruit. The latte was ok. Men outside the restaurant offer to take posed photos for a cost, just have your friend take a photo.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Café Colao. The service was good, our drinks, too. The place is big and offers different-looking sitting areas, it's ideal for large groups. We even sang karaoke.

La Tinaja, a popular eatery located in the Dominican Republic, offers delicious Caribbean and Latin cuisine with small but tasty portions. While El Carrito de Moshe is known for good food, it can be frustratingly disorganized. If you're in Jarabacoa, consider starting your day with a coffee and breakfast at La Tinaja before heading back to Santiago for your flight home. You can easily access transportation options like Caribe Tours or private taxis from the restaurant's vicinity.
One of our favorite go to places in Jarabacoa! Never disappoints! They are also famous for their #carrotcake! Relaxing environment, laid back & always crowded on the weekends.
BarbM — Google review
Very accommodating they made sure we enjoyed everything and made sure our food was to our liking. The stuffed chicken was really good also their juices were good. Would recommend this place. Didn't personally get to try their baked goods but a friend enjoyed theirs.
R .T — Google review
We loved our visit to La Tinaja. We were there for breakfast and had a great experience. Their cappuccino is one of the best I've had. Their portion sizes were more than fitting for adults, and their service was incomparable. The only issue they have is with parking. There's a parking lot across the street, but it was full when we were there.
Ana De la Cruz — Google review
At La Tinaja in Jarabacoa I bought a container of macaroon cookies for $9.00 USD. A nice variety of cookies, bread and lots of carrot cake for sale.

This place is so cute! Perfect to relax before or after doing activities in jarabacoa, this is a cafe you can’t miss when in there. The food is really good and you can find Dominican desserts and candies to take home.

Chicken with lemon wasn’t for an European anything special, but tasted good. Salad with meat, parmesan etc super huge and delicious! Also very good home-made juices! Recommend!

Lots of different food options for different tasted. My daughter had the hamburger and really liked it. I had the sancocho, and it was good (lots of meat). My husband had eggplant.

Great restaurant! Although it’s on a busy street the restaurant itself has a very calm ambiance and great tunes. The food was great and the service was fast. They have a great bakery and make the BEST carrot cake hands down. 10/10 ! This is a must visit place here in Jarabacoa. Parking may be Alittle hard but is worth the visit!
Jeidy Cepeda — Google review
Croquetas de pollo was very good. Pechuga de pollo a la parmesana con salsa napolitan was good except for the tostones which I found to be a little hard. The bakery section had very good choices. Not too busy during a Tuesday evening. Would come back to try the other options in their menu.
BKEReyes — Google review
The food is fresh... the whole group (from carnivores to vegan) had nothing but positive feedback.

Got the traditional pepperoni Pizza. Pizza was cooked perfect, but the toppings were scarce. Only half the pizza had cheese, 1-2 pepperoni per slice.

I visit this place at least once or twice a week! Excellent food, great prices but most importantly, very consistent! My favorite dish is the “pollo Al limon” and my husband loves the crispy fried Chicken sandwich

Really nice place. I guess they are known for their cinnamon rolls. And I have to say they are excellent. Taste just like diabetes! I highly recommend them. Also had some coffee and an omelette. Good prices and quality food.

I attempted to visit El Taino Restaurant & Pica Pollo on Tuesday, but unfortunately, it was closed. However, I had better luck the following day as it was open on Wednesday. The food they offer is both delicious and affordable, and the server who assisted me was exceptionally kind and even went above and beyond by providing extra portions of plantaino manduro fritos. The overall dining experience at this establishment is characterized by cleanliness and high-quality food.
Tried to go on Tuesday but it was closed. Was open on Wednesday. Delicious cheap food and the server was so kind to give extra plantaino manduro fritos!

If you're in the mood for some delicious Italian food then head to La Baita. The owner-chef is extremely friendly and will help you select the perfect wine to go with your meal. You'll definitely enjoy the wood-fired pizzas and pastas, all of which are homemade. Prices can be a bit high, but it's worth it for the quality of food.
I recently dined at La Baita and was thoroughly impressed by the culinary experience. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was warm and welcoming, setting the stage for a memorable meal. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the pasta, particularly the linguine, which was nothing short of perfection. Each strand of linguine was cooked to al dente perfection, enveloped in a sauce that was rich, flavorful, and boasted the freshest ingredients. It was clear that La Baita takes pride in their cuisine, with attention to detail that shines through in every bite. Beyond the food, the service was attentive and professional, ensuring a delightful dining experience from start to finish. La Baita has set a high bar for what great pasta should taste like, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit to indulge in their delicious offerings once more. A must-visit for any pasta aficionado!

Incredible experience, went with a group of 6 and each dish was fantastic! Authentic Italian food with a beautiful setting. The natural juices were a little on the pricey side but the entrees are very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend!

Great little restaurant. Pizza was delicious the crust was thin and well cooked. They had a great selections of dishes including handmade pasta. I ordered a pizza with mushrooms and arugula and I wsd not disappointed the pizza was delicious. Definetly a place that i will go back.

First time coming to La Baita. This is a extraordinary restaurant, the service is excellent, atmosphere is quiet and the food is out of this world.

The best Italian food I have ever had. The owner was most welcoming and they took the time to explain the dishes. He asked me what I liked, and then conjured up a dish. It was the best pasta I’ve ever had!!!! Some secret family recipe that was amazing. Come here and be prepared for a nouveau experience.

I truly loved this place. Had a great time. Waitress was very sweet and attended all our requests. Which I also thank the kitchen for. We asked for dishes to have slight changes just because we couldn’t have specific ingredients and they accommodated the plates well. The view is crazily stunning and so relaxing in the heart of a city up in a mountain in the Dominican Republic ❤️❤️ Why 3 stars? As much as we enjoyed our time there, I had a hard time eating our main courses. We ordered appetizers that were amazingly done! But some of my Dominican friends recommended me to ask for some of them to have less salt. Since our experience with those were great I had no intentions on changing the main courses. But I felt like I had to. Great pasta! Loved the texture. Great ingredients, loved the fresh and crunchy shrimps. But we had a hard time with the seasoning of the pasta dishes that had many garlic or tomato sauce involved. I hope they change this since it is a great place and those dishes were great just needed some balance there. Less garlic and the tomato sauce more diluted maybe. The ones who ordered those heavy seasoned dishes had their stomach a little upset later that day. Repeating garlic is no fun either. But we know it was just the over seasoning the issue here. I am definitely coming back here. Will try asking for adjustments on the dishes this time. It is just a place to be while in the northern area of the country!!

The pizza is very good and pasta was excellent. Nice atmosphere. Had the pasta surprise and it was superb. The other 3 members of my party had different pastas and all said it was great. The white wine and the beers also good.

Delicious food in a rustic setting. Their meats were fantastic and their sangria top notch. Not all dishes are always available.

At the suggestion of my friend we went there to eat pizza. I thought it was just another pizzeria but the place resulted to be amazing. The owner and chef Marco made us feel like home. The restaurant is in a countryside home surrounded by farmland. The appetizers including a pizza were amazing as well as the entrees: "surprise pasta" was the best. The tiramisu was to die for and the final touch: handmade in house limoncello. A must when back in Jarabacoa. One of the best Italian restaurants I have ever visited

Tostado is a fantastic restaurant with exceptional cuisine that is both flavorful and fresh. The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is ideal, offering breathtaking views of the mountains and sunset. The establishment boasts a charming and contemporary design, complete with delightful aesthetics such as bicycles, swings, and even a stunning tree in the center of the dining area. Additionally, convenient parking is available for patrons. This establishment is perfect for any occasion whether you're with family, friends or your partner.
Amazing food. Great coffee. We make trips to buy their freshly roasted coffee. If you can make it near sunset, the view is breathtaking. My most recent trip was on a very rainy day and there weren't many tables that remain dry

A big plus the place has a small parking which was nice. As far as the experience in the restaurant, it was mediocre at best. Party of 4, and we all order something different and possibly share. Ordered waffles, and it was HARD, I mean, it was impossible to cut with a knife without pressing down hard . its flavor was lacking. It was a very boring looking plate... didn't even bother to snap pics. The other two were decent but just seem to have Been thrown together with no care on visual. On the other hand , the drinks! We're good and looked fantastic. This was the part I enjoyed the most and would only recommend.
Fenelix K Paulino Jr — Google review
Nice coffee, but the food is not great. Had the burger which was not fully cooked, had the smallest piece of bacon I've ever seen and the bun was stale. Ugh not worth the $$.

It's an amazing place to be with your family, friends or partner, the people here is very nice and helpful. The food is tasty and delicious! Even they have options for vegan, like decaffeinated coffee and almond milk!
Andres Mauricio Heredia — Google review
Bad service, slow kitchen, overpriced. Coffee water isn’t even filtered. Tastes like it came out of a garden hose. Much better places in town… Had to come back and edit my review after the owner left an inaccurate temper tantrum of a response to my review. To the “owner” Invest your time in training your staff. The quality is not their fault. It’s yours. The issue wasn’t just the wait time… it was the wait time plus the quality of the other food I saw you serve your patrons. Burnt omelettes, over cooked waffles, pastries drowned in sugar. Do yourself and your staff a favor, go down the street to La Tinaja to see how a good restaurant with a similar price point operates. Stop being so defensive and address your poor reviews with action. That’s just basic product management.

10/10! Food was great and fresh very delicious, prices are reasonable and the ambiance is perfect. You have a great view of the mountains and the sunset. The restaurant is very cute and very modern. The decor is nice and It has fun aesthetics! The bikes , the swing and even a beautiful tree in the middle of the restaurant. There’s parking available as well. Will definitely come back to visit for sure!

The service is amongst the worst I have experienced in my life. I was there for breakfast, when I arrived only 3 tables were occupied. I had to flag down the waitress 3 times only to get the menu! Then wait another 20 minutes (and waiving to her 3 more times) until she took my order. Food took another 30 minutes so after 1 hr I finally got my food which was mediocre. Of course she brought the food without cutlery, so another 5 minutes until I could eat (and my food was cold). The same procedure for paying the bill… after a bit over 1.5 hrs I was finally done. Will never come back here again.
Meike Sprankel — Google review
I went for the waffles but they were out of it. I loved the Caramel Macchiato, the cinnamon roll was good and the burgers too. It's a not a too pricey place but they're a bit slow.
Amaris Morales — Google review
I had reviewed this place as a 5 star but I'm lowering it now. On the last visit two of our group got sick in the stomach after eating here. We also got the beignets and they were burnt. They covered the burnt side with powdered sugar so we wouldn't see it. Because we took bites of each one they wouldn't take it off the bill. We have eaten here many times with groups from the States and I've learned that at least 4 people have gotten stomach illness after eating here. I personally always enjoyed the hamburgers but we will not be bringing groups here in the future.

Great place to watch the sunset, hang out, or get some work done (they’ve got WiFi). The coffee was good and the waffles tasty. I had an issue with one of the omelette, but after the manager came and talked to me they replaced it. Attentive servers! (I came 2 times during my 3 days in Jarabocoa)
