My best friend & I loved everything this restaurant had on offer. We started with a couple of cocktails which were as tasty as they looked! We were lucky to taste their trial menu, which I believe is available every Thursday. It came with 5 courses and we opted to have the wine pairing also. We were blown away by the quality & flavour of each dish & drink! We both thought it was value for money. The staff were friendly & passionate about what they had on offer. The restaurant was cosy & we had an amazing night! We would not hesitate to return for another meal!

We had our dinner last night and were blown away by the quality, delicious taste and details. The food were absolutely amazing. Iv been so many places around the world. I highly recommend this place to everyone. We live in Sydney and visited Terrigal for couple of nights. I’m definitely going to miss this restaurant here. Cocktails were beautiful and very cozy inside. Compliments to the Chef 👌🏼🥰

Dined here recently and it did not disappoint. Service was warm and friendly and the food was consistent from start to finish. Big standout was the kingfish tartare with mandarin from the chefs menu. Only thing I’m annoyed about is that I haven’t visited sooner!
Charlotte Waters — Google review
Yellowtail have a very incredible taste, especially the Pumpkin, Raw Kingfish and the fish with sea grapes omg Yumm. Plus… If you could do the wine paring as well emm perfect

4 of us dined and we shared 4 entrées and 4 mains. Each dish was well designed and executed. We enjoyed it very much and we particularly enjoyed the cauliflower, pork belly entree and lamb. Highly recommend visiting. Thanks for an excellent dining experience.

Simply delightful 👌 We will definitely be returning. Not only looks great but taste delicious. Hats off to Both Back of house and Front of house staff.
Therese El-Bayeh — Google review
Food is amazing! but you definitely pay for it and serving size could be slightly better but the main deduction comes from atmosphere, inside is very crammed and outside is a few seats on Main Street with heavy foot traffic. With better atmosphere or slightly better portion size my rating would be higher, again food was amazing
Bradley Kroegel — Google review
Yellowtail never disappoints. The food is incredible, the flavours and presentation are a work of art and the owners should be proud of their team. The degustation menu is a perfect way to experience a great variety from the menu and the wine pairings were spot on. Can’t wait to be back

This little restaurant is AMAZING. The food is incredible with very generous serving sizes. The service is professional and friendly. The atmosphere is intimate with great acoustics. Hands down the best restaurant in Terrigal and in the top 5 I've ever been to. Exceptional
Russ Taylor — Google review
Overall a great place to eat. The food was interesting and fun to try. Would have loved a bit more taste due to this place being a gourmet restaurant. It just needed that little something extra to get full 5 stars. Would still recommend.
Christian Larsen — Google review
Came for a group of 3 on a Saturday long weekend. The restaurant staggered the seatings and service was efficient. Everything was delicious, especially the oysters and the tempura pumpkin, and seafood cooked perfectly. It's a small restaurant so if you want to go for a nice meal out in Terrigal, book early.
Juliet Zhu — Google review
These guys know their stuff. Oyster. Native curry foam. Scallops. Were the most interesting highlights but it was all great.
Chris Ryan — Google review
Celebrated my 40th birthday recently here with some friends from Sydney - I was in the area, they deemed me worth the long drive to celebrate with me 😃 Yellow tail came up as a hit when searching for great local seafood. Even better than the fabulous flavour pairings of the various ingredients in each dish of our 5 course degustation was the superbly friendly, fun, accommodating service!!! Kendall, Andrew, and Tamara really made the whole dining experience so much more special by being so positively personable 😁😊😄 happily looking forward to returning, might be awhile since I live interstate.. ☺️ We loved the oysters so much we decided to try 2 different kinds!!

Cocktail bar
Mumbo Jumbo's Beachhouse is a Caribbean Rum Shack located above Terrigal beach, offering a laid-back atmosphere with tropical cocktails and Jamaican-flavored menu. The rooftop bar provides full views of the beach, serving fresh seafood and smoked meats. With its fun and friendly staff, spacious seating, and themed interiors, it's an ideal spot for enjoying the weekend vibe with DJ music and interesting cocktail options.
Food delicious, must try the jerk wings and the loaded fries. Cocktails delicious too. Great environment to eat and chill after a visit to the beach.
C L — Google review
Really fun rooftop bar with plenty of character & well themed. So much space & plenty of seating! The staff were really friendly and fun although I do feel like it gets a bit crazy most nights & that can impact wait times. The Me&U ordering system is really great as it saves queueing. The cocktails looked good but were quite average quality given the price. Can definitely see how this place can be good fun with the DJ on!
Mark Titley — Google review
Food was delicious! We got the popcorn prawns, Jamaican street corn and the jumbo burger. It was all amazing! I know it’s probably the look they are going for, but the premises felt a bit run down. It appeared unclean, even walking up the stairs into the place there was lots of dead cockroaches on the stairs.
krystle krywinski — Google review
Great place! Casual happy rooftop dining and drinks. Good music and quick moving staff. COVID19 protocol 👍🏼👍🏼. Very good food and drinks…well priced menu. QR code ordering and payment system. Can be busy so be ready to wait or make a booking…
Philip Paulo — Google review
We tried to come here previously and we’re not able to get a table (usually a good sign). This time we booked ahead and the food and drinks were amazing! The view from the balcony was also outstanding! Will definitely be coming back here next time we are in Terrigal!
Wade Thomas — Google review
We were visiting Terrigal for the day - Mumbo Jumobo's was such a great find! We didn't have a booking but they found the perfect table for us overlooking the beach. The rooftop area is such a great place for kicking back on the weekend with a fabulous vibe, awesome music from the DJ, interesting cocktail range and pair with some Jamaican inspired food. Staff were fun and friendly.

I came here for a few cocktails was good. Nice beach view roof top bar. Wouldn’t mind going there to try the food, looked good.

Beautiful spot on a beautiful sunny afternoon overlooking Terrigal beach. The jerk chicken tenders were absolutely delicious and the cocktails were great tasting. Highly recommended

Was a bit hard to find in the area but absolutely worth the find. Fantastic food, ambience and service. I Tried only vegetarian items and it’s simply wow!! Crumbled eggplant was too good and so were the Tacos. A must visit place for the food surely if in the area. I will if I am..:)
P K — Google review
Visited here just under 12 months ago and ordered the Jerk Fish Tacos; they were generous in filling and tasted as good as they looked. Fast forward to today and my abuelita would be disappointed knowing I ate this embarassment of a "taco". I'm quite positive that the chef was off today and they took inspiration from Kim and Rach's "4 ingredients" cookbook. Nothing more I could write would describe in enough detail what I was served today, so luckily for you all I snapped these pics of both occasions. Oh yea; these bad boys - emphasis on the bad - set me back $32.
Thomas — Google review
We booked a reservation for dinner at Mumbo Jumbos a few days before arriving. When we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation, they had our name on the list, however as we came to find out this does not reserve you a table, we simply were allowed inside the venue. This was disappointing as we were hoping to book for dinner and drinks, but the place was very crowded already and nowhere was really available to sit and eat. If we knew we weren’t guaranteed a table, we would have booked elsewhere to have dinner and have come back later for drinks. The venue is packed and loud and full of locals - this is more of a nightclub than a bar/restaurant, so keep that in mind when considering this venue for a meal. We stayed for a couple of cocktails which were nice, but we waited in line at the bar for 20-30 mins to get them which was quite annoying. They did have QR code ordering systems on the table but they weren’t on/we couldn’t use these. Quite disappointing for what we were after but if you want a crowded, loud beach bar scene - this could be a fun night out.
Hayley Tighe — Google review
Such a cute venue! Staff are lovely, although I will say the staff are quite slow, not to be rude, but they are all chatting away meanwhile a massive line is waiting and drinks haven’t been served, massive wait considering there is only about 7 people and 5 staff on… just giving some constructive criticism so that you guys can see it from a customers view. Great drinks and food though! Thanks
Emily Madison — Google review
Great sunny arvo spent with family and friends. Fab lounge vibe with views to boot. Loved the beach decor and the food at prices to share was quite delectable. Nice variety of drinks all around, even a watermelon seltzer on tap. The cherry on top was great hospitality we experienced, thanks to Vikram and Jaimie - thanks legends! Will surely stop by on our next Terrigal visit.

Italian restaurant
Rhonda's Bar, an esteemed restaurant in Terrigal, underwent a rebrand and renovation last year, transforming into an exquisite Italian dining establishment. With a fresh interior, their aim is to provide a laid-back dining experience on the Central Coast, offering delectable Italian-inspired cocktails and cuisine. Rhonda's is perfect for families seeking a leisurely meal or friends looking to enjoy wine during a lengthy lunch.
Amazing food! Love the degustation menu and selection. Filled us all up and we’re so happy we’ll be making another drive back soon. Only wish they were open for lunch, it’s that good. Nutella ravioli is amazing, best way to end a spectacular meal
Christine Scicluna — Google review
We attended as the restaurant is in a good location (close to our hotel and the beach). Great Italian "fusion" place. The squid ink pasta with crab was delicious, as was the pumpkin ravioli. We loved the foccasia as an entree. Don't over order here as the portion sizes are perfect (unless you have a huge appetite). House Shiraz was also delicious. The music playing was a great vibe too. Will return when we can.
Andrew H — Google review
Went there full of emphasis and hunger, following the great Google reviews. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed at the end. Had to wait 20 minutes to order and the first food took at least 40 minutes to arrive (even given that the place was only 1/3 full, one level). Then the pizza was burned beyond being edible (and I am very tolerant with this). How can a chef give out food like this? Second round was OK, but to be honest the price of the food is 20-30% too high. It is solid, but not worth the high price. Signature pasta was too saucy, pizzas were solid standard, salad price too high. Drinks consist of 30% ice. Sure it is nice to use special flour, but if the service is bad, the end product not that great and the whole experience mediocre? Most disappointing however was the service. Was charged almost $20 too much (luckily, I checked the bill), and had to politely but firm discuss for 10 minutes with the cashier to get the money back. Worst were comments like: "Ok, and now? What do you want me to do?" (Looking at me like I steal from them) This is not great customer service. No apologies given. Sorry but given that we spend almost $200 for a small family dinner, it is just not great.

cannot recommend enough! We went into Rhonda’s without a booking and even though they had so many bookings, they found a space for us and were so accommodating. The staff were friendly and service was incredible! Amazing cocktails and food was even better 🤩🤩

Pizza with meat was fantastic. Pizza with King Prawns, tasted great, but as you can see in the photo ,were cut into tiny pieces. I don't mind paying premium prices, but don't come the raw pawn ,ok

We have just left Rhondas Italian Restaurant and this was BY FAR the BEST meal we have ever ever had!! The pizza was as traditional as it gets with the most perfect wood fired base as the real star ♥️ Beautiful fresh cocktails and knockout desserts to finish off an incredible dinner . Thank you so much to the talented chefs and awesome friendly staff. We can’t wait for next time ♥️🤩♥️ Absolutely Bellissimo!!
Jacqueline Gabriele — Google review
Rhonda’s is our favorite Italian on the central coast. Every time we visit or stay we pop in here for dinner. The food and wine is top notch and we’ve recommended friends to try it and they’ve also given glowing reviews. Great staff, great location, really nice ambient setting with a fantastic menu and wines to compliment. Pizzas are the absolute best and pasta is chefs kiss good too! You won’t be disappointed
Kristie Smeros — Google review
I really enjoyed Rhonda’s and I wish I could give 5 stars but the service on our night was unfortunately not up to scratch. Amazing Positives - The atmosphere and vibe is really cool and the food delicious! In particular the Arancini, zuchinni flowers, lamb fettuccine and squid ink pasta were delicious. Improvement needed on the service front. Don’t get me wrong, really friendly and lovely people just our server took a long time to bring over second round of drinks plus forgot the kids drinks. They were forgotten. My husband asked for cracked pepper when his meal came but she got distracted and didn’t return so he was waiting to start his meal a while - he eventually had to stand up and go over to get himself. After meals completed, the plates were not cleared, we were not asked if we would like more drinks or dessert. We didn’t wait and ended up leaving without the kids desserts. Manager did offer them takeout though but would probably had preferred an apology and perhaps a discount. maybe he they didn’t realise we were a little annoyed at the end. Hopefully we choose to visit again as I think this place has great potential!
Jessica Gregg — Google review
Superb every time, specially the service, the American sounding lady with the red hair is fantastic and so attentive. We took my older mother out twice and the waitress was very accommodating and going above and beyond to make our dining experience enjoyable. The food is authentic and high quality every time. I don't get bloated from low quality gluten :)
Nikita N — Google review
Every single damn star worth it! I have literally nothing critical to say about this place negatively. The food is the best authentic Italian flavours I have ever tried. I don’t know who Rhonda is but I would love to embrace her eating her delicious pizza and pasta. Worth the drive from Charlestown.
Nikki-Bianca Martin — Google review
Delicious woodfire pizzas. One of the best tasting gluten free bases 👌. Service a little slow.
Sam Hill — Google review
Yum!!!! Will be returning. I can definitely understand why you need to make a booking to eat here. The kids were very happy and demolished their food (mickey mouse pizza and beef ravioli). They loved seeing that their pizza was made from real dough and went into the woodfire. My squid ink pasta was delicious too. Service was attentive and atmosphere was great. Great restaurant!
Judy Kwan — Google review
Me and my partner had an early dinner here. We hadn't made a reservation though luckily we had gone early as it was quite busy with a few bigger group party reservations. The place was quite lively and had a great atmosphere which we enjoyed. We had ordered the Parma & Burrata as a starter and very much enjoyed this starter. There was a generous serving of prosciutto, the bread was crispy but soft and can never go wrong with burrata. For our mains we had ordered two pastas: Rigatoni Alla Vodka + Fettuccine. We had ordered too much (not necessarily a bad thing as was able to enjoy leftovers the following day) as we weren't able to finish the pasta. From the two pastas we ordered, I had preferred the rigatoni alla vodka. Not to say the fettuccine was bad at all. The dessert was definitely the highlight! I'm a little biased having a sweet tooth. We had ordered the Crispy Nutella Ravioli. The only negative is I wish it was a bigger serving but the pillow pasta was crispy with a crunch and when combined on a spoon with the nutella that filled it and the gelato and raspberries it was bliss!!! I would definitely dine here again when I re-visit the Central Coast and this restaurant would very much have my recommendation to eat at!
Eris Angeles — Google review
Worst experience. I would not go back there again. Booked a table for a very special occasion, arrived at the restaurant to be greeted by absolutely no one. I approached a girl, one of the staff to let her know that we had made a reservation to what she rudely replied.. you have to wait at the door until I greet you. Zero customer service. Me and my date moved back to the door and waited for her. When she showed us our table I asked her if we could move to one of the back tables so we were not right at the door to what she replied nah. My friend asked if all the tables were booked since there were only two families in the entire place and she replied yep. We sat down in disbelief by the way we were spoken to. One of the tables near us looked at us with sympathy because they’ve also noticed how rude the girl was. The place had no ambiance, there was no music, just awkward silence. We felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave and find somewhere else where there wasn’t such a negative vibe. I got charged $40 for a booking fee and to be spoken to like absolutely rubbish. My booking was on Thursday 2nd November at 6pm. If they want to check who was on shift and maybe train their staff on how to speak to customers so this could be prevented in the future.

Tuscan restaurant
Il Toscano Pasta bar is a must-visit for Italian food lovers. Situated in a small shop on Campbell Cres, it transports you to the streets of a Tuscan village. Their handmade pasta options, like the beef and pork ragu or creamy pecorino cheese with black pepper, are delicious and authentic. The Coasties who have tried their creamy mushroom pasta rave about its exceptional taste. Booking ahead is necessary due to limited seating.
As an Italian it makes me proud to meet a chef passionate of his own heritage. Matteo's fresh pasta is second to no one from the Central Coast to Sydney. Eating here made me feel back home. Grazie Mille Matteo!
Mauro — Google review
This would be 5 stars if it wasn't for the portion size. Looking around the other tables, I couldn't help but notice our plates were half filled compared to others. When I brought it up with the waiter, his excuse was we didn't order any meat? Yet our dish was similarly priced as meat dishes.. Just don't understand the logic on that one. Taste wise though.. food was faultless. Walked away hungry.
JK KIO — Google review
I had been wanting to try this restaurant for ages as I’d heard good things about this place and finally had the opportunity to grab some dinner. Unfortunately it was not enjoyable at all, everything was very oily. I ordered garlic bread as an add on to try to balance out the oily pasta but as you can see the garlic bread was drenched in oil too. It’s disappointing as it has a very chilled atmosphere with good friendly service.
Francine Daniel — Google review
The absolute best genuine Italian cuisine I have ever had, the service was impeccable and the knowledge around partnering different wines with certain pastas was second to none. Definitely would revisit il toscano and I recommend anyone that wants genuine Italian food and wine to come visit.

Best restaurant in Terrigal & best Italian food on the Central Coast. My partner and I loved the homemade gnocchi and pesto rigatoni. If you want to try real authentic Italian book a table here. Such a humble hole in the wall bar with friendly service. It’s always a treat coming to dine here. The pistachio cheesecake we ordered for takeaway was delicious as well. Would 100% recommend Toscano Pasta Bar.

Small restaurant shop front with on street dining. Definitely recommend booking to be on the safe side. The staff were lovely. The pasta was delicious and fresh as was the meat and sauces. So full of flavour. We came back for the dessert of tiramisu which was light and fluffy.

Excellent Italian on the central coast. Coming from Sydney, it’s hard to find good Italian on the coast. But wow, even my 10 year old daughter finally ate Spaghetti marinara because it was soooo good. Best pasta on the coast ❤️ Both my kids adored their meals and wanted to order more.

Finally, a unique Italian restaurant run by a real Italian and delicious authentic food. Amazing burrata caprise and absolutely tasty tagliatelle Fungi. Simple food but such great quality and fresh flavors. Thanks Mateo and your friendly staff… Definitely recommend! Well done!

So happy we stumbled accross this restaurant while staying a night in Terrigal. The warm chicken liver dip was so nice, the best I have had! And our ragatoni ragu..... yum!!!! All enjoyed while enjoying a bottle of Chianti Classico Riserva, Casaloste 2017. Definately worth a visit and if we lived close by I would visit frequently.. one of the best Italian meals I have had!

Highly recommend. Beautiful homemade well cooked pasta dishes, we really enjoyed our meals last night. Lovely, friendly service and we will definitely be back for more yummy pasta.
Raquel Martins — Google review
We dined with 4 adults and 2 children. Wait staff were excellent although took far too long to receive menus and didn’t receive drinks menu on arrival. Took ages to get tap water on the table. Kids meal at $19 is over priced and maybe trying to deter children which in my opinion misses the mark for an Italian eatery in the heart of Terrigal full of families who live in the area or are visiting for holidays..if I were in Italy children would be very welcome! Meals excellent. We all enjoyed the different pastas ordered. The incorrect oasta came out for me but this rectified quickly by our waiter. Garlic Bread. Is sliced bread soaked in garlic and EVO. Not our favourite. I have enjoyed better versions. Fit out of the venue is spot on. Great Italian eatery, feels authentic. I would return possibly without kids which is a shame as they love pasta!

Went in for a late dinner on a rainy dark night. Firstly, we had to provide our IDs for entry, then, we had to order our food extremely fast as the kitchen was about to close for the night. Then, we went 10m in one direction to order drinks and were asked once again for our IDs. Our bartender was unfriendly and didn't inspire happiness in the slightest. However, the food was delicious and didn't take too long, and the drinks, when they arrived, hit the spot. The improvement of customer service would improve the entire vibe.

First time visiting recently. Great location. Spacious. Fish Taco's were delicious, fast service, friendly staff, fairly priced. Delicious garlic bread. We decided to come back the second night & were a little disappointed. We ordered the Tomato & poached prawn salad. It had no zucchini noodles as per the description, we were told it was how the zucchini was cut, after a closer inspection it was obvious... no zucchini so we had it remade & got raw julienne zucchin. Hopefully if we visit again the food we receive will match the description.

Came here to celebrate our wedding anniversary on Saturday lunch time. Ambience, view and live music all fantastic. We ordered the cold seafood platter and it came out within a few minutes and was very delicious . Unfortunately we were not offered any bowls/ plates and you have to go look for service. Maybe I am a little fussy , but we would come back.

Went there on Sunday evening. We sat in one of the cabana. The table wasn’t clean when we sat. It wasn’t that busy. The waiter later came to wipe the table. We ordered a hot platter $150 which consisting of a lobster, bugs, grilled and also battered fish, salt pepper squids, a bowl of prawns, a few kilpatrick oysters, chips and salad. The salad was soggy (maybe should be in separate bowl to prevent the hot food ruined it). We also had a dozen of natural oysters which delicious, $60. Had margaritas and Prosecco. The drink was so so. My friend said the Prosecco tasted funny and stopped drinking it after a couple of sips. Not sure what was. Overall the food was enjoyable although the taste and quality were average for the price tag.
Lena Ang — Google review
We ordered the hot seafood platter, it was a very generous serving and could not finish it all, but was able to take the rest home. The food tasted amazing, very fresh and flavoured very well. The service was great from start to finish and provided a great atmosphere for a special occasion. I would totally recommend this place for either a family gathering or intimate setting. If you're a seafood lover like us, you will not be disappointed. Definitely worth the money spent.

Charged twice for drinks. Ordered two steak specials for $58, plus kids bolognese and garlic bread and they overcharged us by about $25. Steak was ordered rare and came out blue and cold, gravy cold, broccolini cold. Patrons pushing into lines in front of families and the staff doing nothing about it etc, disgusting service. I would go for a full refund but I honestly could not be bothered dealing with the staff after the first attempt at double charging. Never ever again. Disappointing that such good real estate goes to a place like this.

Went for a quick dinner and was definitely not disappointed. Ordered meals and drinks from the QR scanner on the table. Drinks arrived promptly and meals came hot and fresh and were definitely tasty and cooked fresh. Great atmosphere with live music, it was a busy night and staff were friendly and on top of serving and ensuring everyone was looked after. Very clean restaurant with plenty of seating inside or outside. Definitely recommend.

Great venue ,awesome atmosphere , reasonably priced beer but hit and miss with the food and their prices ,only one option for steak and it's $55 however very good steak and portion , the next night I had the chicken for $26 it was absolutely tiny ,I was so pissed off , what are they thinking giving a portion size designed for a toddler . I'm not asking to move mountains but be fair with the portions with only 3 potatoes and some piddly little greens ,I was left hungry and annoyed .do better .

We came to Terrigal Beach House on two occasions during our stay at Terrigal. Both experiences were pleasant and we enjoyed the food and drink. The staff were wonderful even though busy, the food came out very quickly after ordering and was still very evidently made well and not rushed. On one occasion we visited to watch an NFL game and the staff were very helpful and turned up the volume for us so that we could enjoy the game. Atmosphere is very modern and feels like a sophisticated beachside venue. Our favourite dishes were the Beach House Beef Burger, the natural oysters + the Crab Rolls. For anyone who values a good hot chip - this place has GOT THEM! Perfectly crunchy and salty!
