Reviewing the new matso's brewery. 12/10 fantastic time all round. Great food. Great ginger beers and sprakling cocktails on tap. Great price and would definitely be back every week if we lived up here still. Definitely worth the visit. 😍

This place was awesome. QR codes still in place for food ordering but booze needs to be ordered at the bar. Mango beer is delish, though smallest beer size available is a schooner - no pots/midis. Was a shame not see more alcohol free beer options. Food was fresh and delicious. Nice to see interesting vegetarian options. Tonnes of space across the different areas.

I had a large group of 33 eat lunch here on Sunday. Service great, food brought out quickly, great staff. Kellyann was amazing setting us up as a group, nothing was a bother very friendly & accommodating. Definitely recommend.

Awesome service at the bar . And that was all. Restaurant on a Saturday night ran out of meal advertised on the menu at 7.30 pm. Then we re ordered and that was out as well. There was only one table being served. The old Joes advertised free beer tomorrow. The Kitchen can't service at all, and will not go back tomorrow to order at the the kitchen and never call it a restaurant. The Emperial on the corner ticked all the boxes Awesome bar service kitchen staff could not help you more and all our meals from the restaurant were amazing.

Fantastic venue. Staff and service was great. Nice beer and drink selections. I found a new beer I'm a fan of in Single Fin. Food was fantastic and well priced. There were toys for the kids. I look forward to coming back in the future and seeing how the renovations turn out as the pictures they have displayed looked awesome

Wow what an epic venue! Such a great transformation since they re-opened. New venue is an amazing space with a great vibe. Epic kids playground games and grassed area meant I could relax and the kids were kept busy. Food was excellent and drinks awesome (Ginger Beer was my fave). Will definitely be back.

Such a sick venue! Extremely family friendly (including doggos). Wide selection of drinks for beer lovers and those who prefer something a little different. Really great food and friendly staff! I would pitch a tent in the backyard and stay here forever if I could 🕺🤩

Staff friendly , food average , rooms clean and tidy, great location to everything. Enjoyed my stay. Suggestions of what could be improved. Provide face washers All the batteries in remotes were flat, the remotes struggled to function at all. Clock battery needs replacing , clock on wrong time as batteries flat. Provide plug for sinks. Kettle broken not working. Heater struggled as draft coming from large gaps under doors. Maybe door roll to seal gaps or door seals. New tea towels not washed first , leaving fluff all over dishes . Maybe would be good to have a hairdryer available maybe hire or supplied to use on request. Still beside all this was great for the cost of accommodating. Good value.

An old building but dont let it put you off having a meal here. We 3 all enjoyed a delicious meal. My Nasi Goreng was delightful and the other 2 had calamari as starters but it was a full meal size. Excellent food & service. Thank you.

Although they are in the middle of a major reno (Sept 2023), the place is what I imagine any QLD regional town pub would be. The place sings authenticity, and I would suely be returning once the reno's are completed.

I have been to most breweries on the coast and this is the best. They have a great selection of beer including some awesome ginger beers (try the chilli and lime ginger beer). They also have vegetarian choices on the menu. There is a kids playground so you can get the kids out of your hair for hours while you enjoy yourself.

Great venue with a German beer style hall, big kids playground and huge backyard. Large selection of beers on tap, means it has a little something for everyone! Chilli Ginger is definitely the highlight, would highly recommend

Absolutely fantastic!! We ordered several food options to share with our 4 kids and everything was 10/10! A big call but I dare say this was the best pub food we’ve ever had after travelling Australia. The kids fish and chips, the salami pizza….wow!! The kids loved the play area, they really loved the old cars and tractors! It was safe and so much space to enjoy. The staff were so kind, helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much matsos! ☺️👏🏻

Been waiting a while for this place to open up and wow it does not disappoint. Massive warehouse type set up with plenty of room and seating options. Highly recommend trying the tasting paddle. 5 x 150ml beers for $17 and there is some great variety. I didn’t eat here but the pizzas look amazing. I will be back

Terrible, worse service ever had at any Cafe, resturant in Queensland and Australia. Over priced as well. Avoid, avoid!!!!! 🤬 Waited patiently for coffee, muffin, and thickshake. Finally the coffee and muffin arrive 25min later after we paid, (there were only a table of 3 in front of our order in the cafe), and then 1hr for a thickshake - only after we had to ask when we would receive it multiple times, and getting many promises that it was being made (but the staff were lying to us!!). Turns out they were serving every other order out of order, and all the people that arrived after us first. The waiter even acknowledged this but did nothing about it. We asked for a refund, which was refused, they quickly served an ice frappe??! Not a thickshake we had paid for (but we accepted out of frustration). But they had 5 staff serving at the time. And no more then 15 customers in the 1hr 30min we were there. They did the same to another table that arrived after us, continually lying to them, until eventually the man insisted that he get as refund, after they kept lying about his order being made. Completely incompetent! Never apologised despite admitting to mistake as well?! 😡😡😡

Coffee was great, scone was dry and doughy like damper, just left it on plate. Such a disappointment!

Hardly leave bad ratings, but i got served the quiche later than a customer who ordered after me, hope its a 1-off incident!

We had heard good reports from people who'd been there, so tried it for ourselves. It lived up to its reputation! The food was excellent. Well balanced wine list. The host was informative, knew the menu well, could talk about the dishes with authority, the location and decor were lovely. The prices are mid-range and fair. Thoroughly recommended.

Finding only one vegetarian meal available on the menu - a mushroom meal for $35, I was about to leave as mushrooms were not going to cut it for me tonight. The waitress offered neutral and efficient service though some voluntary attention would’ve been appreciated rather than having to grab her attention constantly between only a small number of diners. The very polite chef kindly offered a pumpkin tortellini as an alternative, which I accepted. The plate arrived instantly sporting a tiny meal consisting of 12 wee parcels and a sprinkling of inconsequential greenery. I checked that I had not received an entree size but was assured that it was in fact a main. It was consumed within a few minutes even when I consciously tried to eat slowly to make it last. It was tasty but extraordinarily tiny - leaving me almost as ravenous as before I ate. I was prepared for an expensive meal but expected something more substantial. I understand that sourcing fresh organic product is exorbitantly priced and that handmade pasta is time consuming so this is a restaurant for those who consider money as no object and welcome the many servings it would take to be satiated- and hopefully these diners abound. I however could not comfortably stretch my finances to do this and left hungry to fill up at home! Live and learn.

Wow, what a find! Everything about this restaurant is perfect. It has a beautiful ambience, the food is sensational, cooked to perfection and the music adds to the atmosphere while being unobtrusive. Best restaurant we have been to in a long time. We will be back!

Awesome food, awesome service, awesome atmosphere. My wife and I both absolutely love dining at Popina Eumundi. Modern fresh menu that always sparks our interest. We always leave feeling deeply satisfied with our meals and always look forward to our next dining experience. Penny and Alex are amazing.

I have visited Popina twice now and both times have been excellent! Every dish was moorish but our favourites were stuffed zucchini flowers, lamb backstrap, their roasted potatoes and coffee mille feuille. Penny runs the front of house. She is attentive, knowledgeable and professional. From using the finest ingredients to the plate presentation, it is clear that Chef Alex takes great pride in every single detail. Their passion for food and commitment to ensuring an enjoyable dining experience is evident! The ambiance of the restaurant is elegant, sophisticated and comfortable. Popina is a real gem. This is a must-visit restaurant for anyone seeking an stand out experience. If you haven't had the pleasure of dining here yet, do yourself favour. You won't be disappointed!

The atmosphere is intimate that you can actually have a conversation with the people you dine with. Always compliments to Alex and Penny for great food and service.

We had the most amazing dining experience at Popina last night and will definitely return if we are ever in the area. I'm so glad that we were able to find this hidden gem. The server was so kind and helpful and the chef created amazing meals. The menu was absolutely to die for and so perfectly created. Everything we had was created with perfection and love. The ambience was amazing and so thoughtful - candles, fairy lights, music. We can't wait to come back - thank you so much for the experience.

Beautiful space to dine in, relaxed but elegant. Incredible food and wine, lovely service by the owner. Food was the best I'd eaten in a long time. We will be back.

I was in Eumundi for one night. Called in here & ordered a chicken schnitzel burger. It was only $13. Very yummy. The chicken schnitzel was a little bit dry but all in all I thoroughly enjoyed it. The guy running the shop had only taken over a couple of weeks ago. He was so friendly & accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this eatery. 👌

We ordered the Mexican, Pepperoni and Garlic and Cheese and they were all superb. Full flavoured and excellent value. Check these guys out. You won't be disappointed.

Most lovely staff ever! Came here with my family 10 minutes before close and they were happy to stay open and serve us. Burgers, chips and pizza were delicious and so fresh!!! Cant wait to come back again!

Have tried this place a few times as a local but seems the pizzas are cheap and undersized! Also the price is ridiculous for such quality. We are not silly you may fool some but anyone who knows food can tell straight away when the quality is poor. We don't spend hard earned dollars for lackluster food. I ordered the "American Cheeseburger" as I never tried the burgers before, for $15 not only was it VERY DRY, cold and bland, it was served on what appeared to be a Turkish rectangular style piece of bread.. That was also dry! The chips were salted to the nines almost not edible. A burger it certainly was NOT and far from anything resembling an American cheeseburger... Use fresh ingredients/make your own bases increase the size have some passion! and if for some reason you had ran out of normal burger buns please next time let the customers know. Just because you have employed young staff that struggle with customer service is no excuse. Either train them properly or employee people of age who can actually make proper food and present customer service. I hope this feedback is taken on and you improve, in this case I would happily come back to try again in a few months and if satisfied happy to change the review.

The owners of PC's are absolutely lovely and made a stack of fresh, tasty pizza for a birthday party at ours. It was ready on time and was a massive hit with everyone. Thank you, Sam and Ni 🙂

Ordinary experience. We ordered takeaway from here often years ago. Thought we would come back September 2023 for some pizzas. They were dry, weren’t cooked with love, tasteless and the young fellas working there need a lesson in customer service. On the up side to our experience, they made us great food for our chooks.

Really good culinary experience, the pizza and the vegetarian hamburger were delicious and the staff super nice. I will be back!

Ordered a variety if small pizzas to sample. Very impressed with the amount of quality ingredients diced small to allow full flavour. If anything bases could do to be slightly crisper but they were deliciously thin, leaving a good balance of flavour without the heavy bread/full feeling. We appreciated the low cost delivery to Doonan. All in all very much recommend PC'S pizza and we will order again soon. Thank you!

Highly suggest the owners invest in having a mature manger onsite rather than 2 kids running the show on a Saturday night. Phone lines are set to ‘busy’ so you can’t call and they miss the online orders. Pizzas are 6/10 probably due to lack of experience. Business won’t be around long if they continue to do this.

Delicious thai food, but a bit pricier compared to other thai restaurants. Also the portions were a bit on the smaller side. Service was friendly and the food arrived very quickly.

When I called the lady who could barely speak english just said 'yes' as her greeting and struggled to take the order. She gave us a 25 min time for the food and we ended up having to wait for 50 minutes. When we arrived the place was empty so I was bewildered as to why the food wasn't ready. The food was bland, especially the massaman curry which they used chewy beef strips for and not the slow cooked beef that I'm sure most people expect in a massaman. Average service and food.

The food was good, but not amazing The bread with peanut sauce was nice and warm. It was very cold outside and inside where we were eating. Some tea helped us warm up. The tofu cashew fried rice had a lot of cashews which was great but almost no tofu. My husband had the jungle curry and thought it was good.

I dined within Sala Thai a few months ago with some friends and thought it was lovely food. I decided to get some takeaways for my family this week and we were not disappointed. All the meals were fresh and had a lot of flavour. The staff are very nice and accommodating.

Really disappointed with the whole experience in general. The waitress seemed like she didn’t want to be there and our meals were barely edible. There was nothing authentic tasting about the massaman curry whatsoever, and didn’t even taste like thai. The sticky rice you literally had to cut with a knife as it was under cooked. It was also very expensive and should really be half the price for the quality. The outside dining area was quite nice and overlooked the Main Street of Eumundi.

First time there… Staff arent very interested in being there which kills the vibe there. Food is okay, staff member didnt know answer to questions about menu. The Christmas music was unexpected. Was charged extra for tofu without having tofu. Coconut Rice is the best we've ever had though.

We were instantly disappointed with Michelle our waitress. She was rude as soon as we arrived, her manner was as if we were imposing or a hassle to her, she forgot to get our second drinks that we asked for (there was only two other couples to serve). The food on the other hand was lovely. Michelle needs to find a new career/job.

Ok place but not special. Two out of three dishes tasted really nice, the fourth one tasted burnt. Service ok. Lunch prices good: $10 for a dish. However when we asked to have a chicken dish substituted with tofu (we are vegetarians), they wanted extra $7. Our table was dirty and didn’t get cleaned the whole time, so we ate next to a pile of waste. Interior is nice, parking on the road seems to be plenty. We were happy to find a restaurant that was open during lunch and it was good enough but we probably wouldn’t go back.

Very disappointed tonight , we always enjoy our duck curry really tasty. Tonight we only had two pieces in our order paid $25 ,we rang restaurant and were told all their duck is prepacked so no way would there only two pieces so I'm sorry to say we won't be going back which is unfortunate as we do enjoy the food .

This place is sooooo good! We love it... such friendly and fast service. The food is fresh and yummy. We love the dim sims and Red Curry with Pineapple is so tasty. They also have a good kids menu and do fish and chips and things like that aswell so kids and non thai eaters. A good little hidden gem in Eumundi.

We have been going to Sala Thai for over 10 years and have always enjoyed the excellent and consistent high standard of food and service, both dine in and take away. Thank you Jang and team.
