Birthday lunch. Everything was just right. Food, moctails, service, friendly staff. Will definitely dine here again.

Ordered 2 mugs long black coffee, one with hot milk on the side. Paid $11.30. Asked was the $0.30 a credit card surcharge and was advised that this was for the milk. This is my usual order and have never been charged for a small serve of milk before. My query is: a mug of cappacino is $5.30. A mug of long black is $5.50 plus 30 cents for the milk. When I asked the waitress about this her response was " Well you have to understand that we have to warm the milk and you are paying our wages"! How is a long black more expensive than a cappacino? Today I check my credit card and have been charged $11.49 :(

Food was delicious, we always enjoy our meals when visiting Bella’s. However, I’m not sure if they were just having a bad day but the service provided by multiple staff members was horrendous. They were so rude and dismissive, whilst being served they stood with an arrogant slouch and muttered under their voice as we politely ordered. Very disappointing, just hoping this will not become a regular occurrence.

Big shop with two sides, extensive menu. Thoroughly enjoyed my green bowl with chicken. It was delicious, highly recommended.

I never find 5 star restaurants but WOW!!! This food was 10/10 so much flavour and many options for breakfast and lunch! We came here for the Elvis festival and I’m very surprised that they had enough tables. Water was so cold and refreshing for a 40° degree day, So was all of our ordered drinks. The interior is very pretty and calming and the waiters were lovely!

Update. Was back in Parkes this week and went back in for breakfast. Staff and food excellent as was the coffee. The toast was a lot better than last time, nicely toasted with butter and the bread was soft. Will be back in the future. Went in for breakfast. There's was a big Q outside for take away coffee. The staff were great, very attentive. Ordered a coffee and poached eggs on toast. The toast was quite hard sourdough, would be good to have a selection of bread, German Rye etc. Eggs cooked to perfection. Nice place, definitely would go back.

Great Italian restaurant for lunch. We have asked if they could serve our meal within 20 mins and they said they could. Finally, it only took 10 mins, very fast. Staff was friendly and the pasta and risotto were tasty. Highly recommend if you find a place for breakfast or lunch. :)

Fantastic place covering all areas. Best Mocha I've ever had. I'll be coming here everytime I visit Parkes.

We stopped in at Bella’s on our way home to Melbourne. We were able to find a table easily. The food was great. They were busy and we arrived at the changeover from breakfast to lunch so the service to get the meals to us was just a little slow, but it certainly wouldn’t stop us going back.

The best double chocolate crunchie drink I’ve ever had in my life and the food is AMAZING and the presentation is fabulous ❤️❤️❤️ I’ll definitely come here again

I was suggested this place from our host as the best in town. And to be honest, if this is the best next time don’t bother stopping… atmosphere was ok, and the service was good, the food was the biggest let down, I had the Steak special and it felt that it was cooked in a hurry, tasteless …the mash that I love, was only half done and the portions very small, even though I payed for an extra serve ($5) the garlic bread was the worse ☹️…half cooked, served almost cold and hardly any cheese. Garlic brad should be served hot, plenty of cheese and as crispy as possible. Food wise they need to pick up their game. 😩

From the outside, this place looks like it needs a bit of a spruce up, but when you step inside, it's a modern day bistro, full of atmosphere and a very bustling restaurant and bar. The food was great, dined here for two nights whilst holidaying in Parkes. The cherry on top for me was the lovely staff member who found my wallet I left behind, tried to contact me but after no success handed it in to the police station for me, life saver!!

Dont look at it and drive past like we almost did. Its awesome. Food was fantastic and the staff are nice as. Steak cooked well, Ribs off the bone and super nice to our 3 year old Easy recommend

Food was great! We really enjoyed the ribs and baramandi. The placed was recommended to us and we didn't regret. Staff was very quick and friendly. We will be back

Ordered 1x Hawaiian parma 1x schnitzel 1x kids schnitzel 1x garlic bread 1x side salad 2x gravy 1x aoli to a total of 85 dollars, They said it would be ready in 20 minutes so I got there in 20 minutes I proceeded to wait 40 minutes in the restaurant before receiving my food and when it was handed to me the bag with all the main meals was dropped on the floor and the waitress just picked it up and said it's ok. Having already waited an hour I drove 3 minutes home and the food was cold and I had received 1 wrong meal. Overall unhappy with the service although when I called to complain I received a full refund.

Nice little country pub with country hospitality. Place was full because of the Thursday special, ribs and rump for $30. Even with the sheer number of orders, my meal came out exactly as how I ordered. Well done to the front desk and kitchen.

After a 10 hour trip we checked into our motel room . We didn't want to go out to get dinner so we found The Railway Hotel & Hart Bar Parkes do deliveries so my husband and I both ordered the scotch fillet mashed potatoes and vegetables and it was so nice thoughly enjoyed it . It arrived earlier than the time they said and was delivered straight to out room highly recommended would definitely order again .

This is for the Hart Bar. Well where do I start. Not worth it. Overpriced food. Rude and argumentative staff. Slow service. Poor quality meals. Loud and poor atmosphere. We waited extensive periods to order. The first waitress took one order before leaving never to return. Another waitress came over 15 mins later to take our order again. When we explained that we thought part of our order was already placed, the waitress then blamed the other waitress.for being new and a broken iPad. Orders were placed and 1 hour and 10mins later arrived at the table. Sour dough bread, 2 slices, each about the size of a womans palm with a whipped truffle butter was $12.50. 2 slices of sourdough!. $42 for a 100g piece of fish. Where am I? These are Sydney city prices. All sides had to be ordered separately if you wanted potato, carrots etc. iExtremely small sized plates, food that was over seasoned and too salty. Undercooked pasta. One of our party members was a vegetarian and ordered the pumpkin papardelli and was served lamb. When the server was told that this was the wrong dish she argued that we were in the wrong because we had ordered risotto. There was no main meal risotto on the menu other than a green pea risotto that was a side accompaniment to the lamb. This dish was eventually replaced with the pumpkin papardelli which was undercooked and gummy pasta. The redeeming factor was the pumpkin filling that was quite tasty. The pork was dry and over-priced and very salty. There was no salt or pepper on the table and it wasn't offered by the servers. Overall an extremely disappointing meal and service. When asked how our meal was when we went to pay the bill, we offered the feedback on our meals. We were also charged for the lamb that wasnt eaten. I raised this and was told by the server that they , the restaurant, had to waste the meal because of the order mistake but she would ask the chef if he wanted to charge us for it. On her return she remarked that the chef had said he would remove the cost of the meal as it was bad anyway. We were then queried about what name we had booked the table under and also asked if we were.from there. A very strange question to ask your customers who had just expressed their disappointment at the quality of the meal. The restaurant didnt appear over-booked. My overall impression of the Hart Bar is a greedy attempt to push an overpriced sophisticated menu, poorly delivered, when they should just stick to what they do best, Pub food. Because the schnitzels and steaks served in the pub downstairs are amazing. Anyway sorry for the long review. But overall would not recommend.

Quite a lot of options on the menu. With gf items clearly marked. Fast service considering it was the Saturday on elvis fest weekend! Friendly staff. Yummy food , awesome cocktails!

We saw a previous review of the Railway and decided to try it. We ate in the beer garden as we had our JR pup with us, whilst the ambiance was a little lacking, the food more than made up for it... I had the pineapple chicken burger, not things I had ever thought of combining before but absolutely loved it. My partner had the huge porterhouse steak. It was cooked med-rare just as requested and thoroughly enjoyed by both her and the dog.

Friendly staff, clean and fast service. Nicer pub than others in the area. Lots of good food options. Their daily deals are really good value for money. Highly recommended. Only downside is they place their steak on top of other food on the plate.

Every time I’ve ordered a meal, it has been spot on. It arrived within the estimated timeframe, delivered hot & fresh by friendly staff and absolutely delicious. I cannot recommend The Railway Hotel Bistro enough! I only wish I were a local so I could dine here more often.

This was disappointing. We had read the (very positive) reviews before our visit but our experience was like a completely different restaurant. The food just wasn't that good - for example the soft shelled tacos had cold crumbed chicken and no sauce. And the scallops were poorly cooked and served barely warm with a tasteless sauce.

The meals were outstanding. Best food we had in a long time. Staffs were lovely. We had a wonderful experience.

The shops decor is in need of a facelift, and the menu wasn't the easiest to read. However, it was quite busy for a Tuesday night. The food was fresh, and the serves were large. Dim Sims are very tasty, and the meals 2 meals we had were on par. So if you are in the area, .drop in, you won't be disappointed

Good one, haven't tried the other dishes so I can't give 5 star yet. Might need to come back for more.

Food was nice We read prior to arrival that some people say its the best Chinese they have ever tasted - Well i think these people need to venture out to other towns and cities. Ive been to a lot of Chinese restaurants so i can say this - Sweet and Sour tasted different to other places, must be there version. ( Average ) The curried Chicken was basically chicken thickened soup. ( Below average ) Rice was ok. Would i go back? - 👎

Mongolian lamb sizzling.was a chop cut up and thickener.worst chinese I've ever had.i couldn't believe it.revolting and couldn't eat.we spoke to the owner .l give you ten dollars of.really.we were the only customers. No I didn't read reviews.not a good sign when not another customer.granted it was 8.30 .never again don't bother inedible.

Staying at Parkes for a night and got home delivery. Far surpassed the quality we have gotten in Brisbane which we felt was pretty good. We ordered chicken with cashew and sweet and sour pork. Thank you for a great meal on our driving holiday. Delivery was very fast and food was hotter than I have ever received which was great.😊

Went there once to dine in food was great loved it, ordered again tonight for take away, worst Chinese ever the beef and black bean tasted like bleach and the rice was old, reheated and tasted like soap made me and my family feel sick DO NOT Eat there.

Walked in and told to sit wherever with a flick of the hand, weren't shown to a table. Waited for a bit, then had to ask for menus to order. Entree San Choy Bow very gluggy.. Had to ask Waitress for plates (I don't think she wanted to be there) Mongolian lamb sizzling, I don't know what it was that was placed on our table. But it tasted more of plum sauce or wine. Chicken with cashews, was ok.. at least there were a lot of cashews.. Overall very Disappointing meal for $70.00 Proves you should read all reviews even if you're starving...

Service was great. Spring rolls and fried rice were good. However, we struggled to finish our orange chicken dish and ended up leaving it uneaten.

One of the worst ever Chinese food and restaurant I’ve been to. Very bad quality We ordered 5 different dishes (spring roll, calamari, prawns, seafood chaw main and chicken); could only eat calamari and the rest was garbage 😞 (almost could not eat 98% of the food) Don’t recommend this restaurant at all Waste of money

Sucked in by the good reviews ignored the bad ones, if your into corn starch and old fried food this is the place to be. Almost inedible didn’t eat for nearly 12 hours later. Worst food ever.
