Nice spot to stop for a break. Don't forget to visit the bakery across the road, the pepper pies are great.

Been in that position for years with millions of photos taken. Tully is reputedly the wettest place in Australia and the gumboot is a statement that you will need a pair if you visit this region especially in the wet season.

Only worth it if you pass by anyway or you are collecting pictures of the big animals in Australia. Nicely done, however, with much information about the heavy rain in Tully. When you are already there, make sure to check out the really child brief nests in the tree opposite of the boot!

A massive big boot that you can climb. Local info inside along with a range of photos. Worth driving up the road a few hundred metres for.

Honestly not much to do here. It's one of those towns you'll just pass through. The biggest draw card is the giant Golden Gumboot. You can go inside the boot and walk up a staircase to reach the top for an elevated view. There's also a massive sugar cane factory here.
Travis Davids — Google review
Cool little spot to stop with a caravan if needed and a short walk tot he bakery and main street. The sugar refinery is a cross the road so that's a cool bonus.
Jaime Thomson — Google review
Pretty cool to find and read to information about it, there is also information inside the gumboot which you can climb up and look out the top of the boot.

Get tourist attraction, so much history on the walls inside the boot, great views from the top, stairs to the top are a bit tight but well worth it
Jo Petrie — Google review
It is a pretty mighty boot. Great little showcase of images inside as you take the stairs to the viewing platform.

Rest stop attraction, bus stop attraction. Park with amenities, well used and clean, across the road is bottom end bakery. 5 min walk to IGA and small shopping complex, situated at the bottom end of one way street, moving up the centre of town

There is a good reason why there is a giant gumboot here. It rains can rains and then rains some more. Kids enjoyed climbing up the gumboot. Good amenities nearby.
