Delicious food and dessert. The place was perfect. It has an amazing view of Jounieh, and the overall entrance and design are really nice. Prices are fair. They also have a small playground for kids. Highly recommended, you should definitely try it, and make sure to leave room for dessert 😋😋

Went there on Sunday for lunch, nice location, wonderful view with outdoor playground, welcoming staff, clean place and attractive. We ordered some items between cold and hot mezza and bbq, the service was fast and the food was delicious, affordable prices, recommended.

Lebanese restaurant located on the main road leading to Bkerke / Harissa. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating areas and has an amazing seaview overlooking the Jounieh bay. Food was really tasty and personnel friendly. Highly recommended!

Amar Harissa قمر حريصا Harissa Highway, Lebanon Serving authentic lebanese cuisine food items only. On the grill items along with hot and cold meza with a good selection of appetizers and sides. Along woth drinks and desserts options. Offering and seascape view, would be perfect at sunset for outdoor area. Staff is friendly but not that attentive. Food taste and quality were good but not outstanding. Valet parking available at location. There is a small kida playground outdoor when kids enjoyed their time. Would somehow recommend it, will appreciate the view more than the food itself. Salads, fattoush and Tabbouleh were excellent. Humus and moutabbal were below average. Hendbej and fries werw just okay. Items from the grill were very good.

2023.09.03 Dinner at Amar restaurant. The view of Jounieh City was awesome. It was very busy on a Sunday. Better reserve. The food was very tasty. The service was OK but it could be better. The place was crowded.

Food: we ordered slightly a-typical mezza (hindbeh & fatte for example) and were positively surprised, however the typical mezza was disappointing. The cheese rolls weren't good (the cheese is tasteless), and the hummus & batata harra were very average. Service: it was great, the waiters were very friendly and always passing by (sometimes a bit too much, they took away a plate of hummus that wasn't finished yet but it's an understandable mistake - we were too shy to tell them to keep it as it wasn't worth it). Atmosphere: it was a Wednesday night in February so only indoor seating and the place was at 20% capacity max. I can imagine it's nicer in the summer when there's outdoor seating.

Our visit to Amar was for a late lunch so we can catch the sunset view which was incredibly amazing. With a warm welcoming and great service we had joy trying hommos pesto, batata harra, asafir (OMG), cheese stuffed triangles not fried🫡 chanklich, soujouk and rocca halloumi salad all the listed were so delicious and never forget to have arak with these amazing dishes🧘

After 3 weeks in Lebanon, this was our last night out and it was perfect. The food is amazing. I’ve never had such tender grilled meat. It truly is very high quality. Their tabbouleh is perfect (i usually always have something to criticize about a restaurant’s tabbouleh). Even their desserts are really good. Go there right before sunset to see the wonderful view (make sure to reserve a table by the sunset). The only thing I can criticize is their lack of fans at our table since the weather was pretty hot and the sun coming right at us, so we would have appreciated some cooling.

One of the best restaurants in the region with an amazing view over the Jounieh Bay. The restaurant is located inside a beautiful old house with traditional architecture that was renovated a few years ago and has an amazing exterior and interior. Customers can choose to sit either in the internal area and order from the French cuisine menu, or at the garden and order from a seperate Lebanese menu. Food was really tasty and personnel friendly. Recommended!

Its one of my favorite restaurants in Leb. A beautifullt designed restaurant on top a of small hill overviewing the jounieh bay and the mount of Harissa. A true lebanese taste and very friendly staff. The view makes keep me coming back to La Creprie! Dont forget to try the cherry vine leaves! They are one of a kind!

We went to the French restaurant and I had one of the best desserts and cappuccino -if not the best- in Lebanon. The view was amazing. Make sure your are dressed formal / semi formal as the second time we went, we were coming from the beach with flip-flops so they didn’t let us in because of the outfit eventhough the place had few tables filled.

Been close to 25 years since I was last at this spot, and not much has changed- mean that in a good way! The staff were all friendly, decor slightly upgraded but the same charm that I felt here in the 90s is still there- magical! Need to come more often

Still a good quality. The setting is beautiful especially if you get a table facing the sea and the mountains. Service is professional. We had a waitress called Lourdes; she is nice but could be a little more cheerful honestly.. The food is good, we were 12 and none complained.. Salads, Crepes and chicken with fries all were tasty and well done. Price is right and decent in such an expensive country.

We went there for the moules et frittes. Horrible experience. Tasteless and served cold. We complained about it they apologised and brought a new plate that was as Tasteless as the one before . I usually love this place but this experience was soooo disappointing. It was a fries and wine night for us.

I had the unfortunate experience of dining here for birthday celebrations for two of my family members. Even being seated outside with a beautiful view of the sea and the surrounding mountains could not compensate for the disappointing dining experience that ensued. From steak that was half meat half gristle, to the penne flavoured with store bought pasta sauce there wasn’t a clean plate to be seen in a party of 13. For my meals I ordered the provincial frog legs, three of which were overcooked, and, for my main the chicken roulade consisted of chicken so dry that not even with the goat cheese could compensate and left me reaching for a drink after each bite. I was informed that the chicken was intentionally dry to grab the sauces better and the solution was to add more sauce. The waiter was shocked. not understanding and unapologetic when I asked for the meal to be taken back. Overall, nice views, mediocre food and unpleasant interactions with the waiter.

Romantic. Lovely setting and great view (day and night). Not all the food menu is excellent though. Luckily what we ordered this time was on point. Truflle shrimp pasta is a must try. Prices are on the high side.

We tried the buffet, it was overall a bad experience. First time trying this place and we were disappointed. Not only an item was missing from the buffet list with no apparent reason(Calamari), They didn't also restock the shrimp even though it was an open buffet. Had to wait for the food like if we were begging. The food wasn't tasty either (specially when the wait is this much). Waiters were polite but soooo slow when you ask for a drink or cutlery. The view is nice but that's it.

The ambiance and atmosphere were good as a new Italian kitchen style. The service was acceptable, and the waiter was friendly. But when we gave them the review, they didn't care about our opinion. We ordered: 1- Bruschetta Al Pomodorino E Basilico: There were too many tomatoes with domination of thym taste inside the pesto. 2- Insalata Caesar Con Salmone Affumicato: The quality of salmon and parmesan was good, but the taste of the dressing was only mayonnaise without any spices. 3- Pizze Bresaola: it was very good, and it was made with a wodden oven with the good Italian taste. 4- Tagliolini Al Tartufo Nero: It was a disaster. The dish was too oily.

Inconsistent quality. Sometimes it's superb and sometimes mediocre. Reluctant to go back, not sure how that night will go.

Marguerita mare is always a treat to go to. We ordered the bruschetta and 4 cheese pizza and we helped ourselves with some fresh baked bread and house made tomato sauce. The food is as good as any excellent italian restaurant can get in Lebanon. A must if you love italian. They have great service, they will get you another basket of bread if you ask, free of charge. All in all it is a very good choice if you want to go dine in and relax with friends, or as a couple.

Amazing italian restaurant in an old lebanese charming house, with tables right on the beach, and the amazing view of Jounieh's bay. The food is delicious, especially the marguerita pizza, the prociutto y funghi pasta, and end it with a true Italian Tiramisu. Perfect for couples, tourists, first date, or even family gatherings. Recommended for dinner.

The 5 stars go to the food and the relaxing view and atmosphere. Service is quick but the staff need to be more jolly and friendly. The food is soooo delicious like seriously so yummy. Italian wine is so good too. We sat just by the water and it was the perfect sunset view and the most delicious Italian meal we've had in a while. Highly recommended if you're a fan of Italian food and sunsets.

This place was one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Jounieh, and still one to be visited. Unfortunately and with the worsening situation in the country, place is not up to its previous standards. Italian atmosphere at the beach. Great Italian background music, exquisite food and a view to die for. While you dine, you can see the waves hitting the shore and rocks at the beach. Add a formaggio e fungihi pizza with Almaza beer 😋

It seems it is not the same place, it's like they serve frozen pizzas nowadays, the dough was wet. We also ordered pasta which has 0 taste. The food was delivered extremely fast we knew it wasn't prepared fresh.

Same franchise as margherita, same menu but with a wider selection of seafood salads pizzas ans pastas. The best asset of this restaurant is the outdoor seating as their balcony is right besides the beach. When the waves are high you'll even get wet. Wide selection of desserts and great taste. On a dark Friday night we decided to have dinner at margherita mare for comfort food. The place is located in the old souk, by the sea. We ordered the diavola pizza ( 129 000 LBP), the insalata con caprino e mela verde (75 000 LBP) and the minted lemonade ( 15 000 LBP) The food was delicious, the service friendly and the ambiance super chill.

Cool place at the heart of Jounieh. They have rooms and a nice pool. It's a nice chilled vibes! Food is good and they have a nice mexican menu, and drinks are nice, they have pitchers of anything you like. But the best part about this place is the sunset, the sunset view is beautiful. During the week days the music is mainly house/lounge, and during weekends it's more party mode. Recommended during sunset time.

Nice outdoor location in Jounieh, their specialty burger was very good with an amazing sauce, salmon was lacking flavours. Service is good music average, band arrived an hour late and didn’t spend more than 45 minutes performing which was a shame. But a nice place that you can try.

A very casual bar/restaurant in Jouneih. We only ordered drinks since they didn’t have a variety of options of food. The drinks were okay(aperol spritz) and the service was good. The ambience was nice (loud music). Personally I wouldn’t revisit this place even to grab drinks.

Really nice place in the heart of Jounieh's old souk with a wide variety of drinks. The music was chill. Recommended for enjoying the sunset and evening.

Upscale food service and supreme quality. Upscale prices and exquisite menu. Very fancy built with a victorian style of architecture with thatch brought especially from south africa. They have a Michelin starred chef and a very professional staff. It is directly situated on the sea shore of Jounieh and it has an access to a sandy beach in front of it. It is one of the fanciest restaurants in Jounieh.
