Masafi

Masafi is a town in the northeast of the United Arab Emirates. It's at the base of the Hajar Mountains, straddling the border of the Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah emirates. Just west of town, the daily Friday Market offers carpets, ceramics and produce. Surrounded by palm trees, the restored Masafi Fort features an underground waterway system. The town marks the start of the Wadi Ham, a long, seasonally flooded valley.
