Bali Bird Park

Mentioned on
Bird watching area
Outdoor Activities
Nestled in the village of Batubulan, Bali Bird Park is a haven for bird enthusiasts. Spanning 2 hectares, it features over 1000 exotic birds and around 250 reptile species, including the renowned Komodo dragon. Visitors can enjoy captivating bird shows, feedings, and displays while taking leisurely strolls through the park's lush surroundings.
Really fun place to hang out, I have been multiple times and will go again for sure. There is a really calm relaxing vibe here. Staff is super nice, the park is maintained really well, most of the birds are free to roam and seem happy, the food at the restaurant is actually really good and not overpriced for the amount/quality you get so just eat here, and they also have a cute gift shop. They have onsite photographers who do a really good job and the price is a good deal - if you buy 1 physical photograph, you get all photos taken of you for free digitally. Take advantage and get as many photos as you can throughout the park then you can keep all of them digitally for no extra cost! Also, there are several shows and feeding times so I suggest checking the schedule and attending the shows, they will also let you feed the birds.

Very nice bird parks the prices so high comparing to other places but it’s worth it specially for family or if you have kids with you. You will see many kind of birds and they have nice colors and it’s the time to collect some pictures for them and learn about these new birds. It’s so green place and the have birds show so nice to watch how they are feeding the birds and how the birds come and catch the foods. Tickets per person 350k rubies and if they took pictures for you and you need to buy it round 160k rubies per picture. Rate : 4/5 Price : 3/5 expensive. Location: 3/5 far but it’s good during full day activity to visit. Service: 4/5 stuff so nice and support you easily. Food and drinks: They have restaurant but i think no need to spend more time there you can have quick drink and continue. Overall it’s nice place and so natural.

A pleasant surprise to find that the animals were well cared for and they rehabilitate injured birds. A well laid out park, and clear information on each of the residents. They had lots of different styles of enclosures with some walk ins. The animals seem unstressed, clean and well cared for. A beautiful Cafe where you can interact and meet the birds. They have different briefing wildlife shows, and the birds seemed to enjoy the inaction with visitors.

If you are into birds or animals highly recommended! It was pricey ticket but worth it for me. I got to take a lot of cool bird photographs- about half are in cages but half are semi-contained and walk around the park, or are in large gates or enclosures. Late in day there was still interactive portions like taking photos with parrots and feeding birds. Restrooms were clean. There is an eating area near entrance. Not huge park, but you could take 1-2 hours here if you look at each place for a bit.

Worth every penny. Kids friendly and good for adults too. They have a different attraction every 30-60 minutes. Most attractions run for around 15 minutes. It's going to be busy if you try to attend each and every one. The place is real nice and well maintained.

We loved this experience! It was raining when we got there, but the venue has umbrellas for people to use. The grounds are large, and the gardens are beautiful. You can attend the bird feedings that happen twice a day. There is a large array of birds, and they seem to take very good care of them. There are some birds that you can interact with too. Stop by and support this establishment as they do a good job of taking care of and protecting the species.

I’ve been to other animal parks in South East Asia and this has to be one of the best. Heaps of awesome birds to see and they even have Komodo Dragons. The park and enclosures itself are very clean and well maintained. The aviary was really cool and we were able to feed the birds for free. I usually don’t like “experiences” or “animal shows” but their free flying Eagle show was really good and entertaining. Getting your picture taken whilst holding a macaw is an affordable price too. Highly recommend this park to everyone. Was great to see a lot of the birds were free roaming too.
James Torrice — Google review
It is a great place to visit! Make sure you attend all the shows on the list, interact with the birds. It really worth it! My favorite was black cockatoo Mary, she is smart and likes to be pet. Feeding pelicans is a fun thing as well, but you have to be quick! A horde of kids grabs all the fish and feeds the birds in no time! :) The restaurant there is so-so, I didn’t like the food. The parking is good enough and seems like there were always available spots.

One of the most popular tourist attractions in Bali is the Bali bird park or better known as the Bali Bird Park, which from the name alone shows that you can see a large collection of birds in it. This bird park tourist attraction has been established since October 1995, which means that it is now 24 years old. Uniquely, this bird park is one of the largest in the world and has a very complete collection, from local birds to birds from abroad. The division of places in the Bali bird park is based on origin. You can enjoy unique facilities where each placement of the collected birds will be designed to resemble the natural habitat from which they come. One of the most interesting things is the starling bird, which is a rare and iconic bird from Bali. Apart from that, you can also meet various other animals such as snakes, lizards, Komodo dragons and iguanas.

Many times I go to Bali, this is first time of visiting Bali Bird Park, is very nice place, many different varieties of birds, all friendly n well trained animals. There are many shows in different hours, suggest to take the map and schedule in the registration area. Restaurant also good to dine in and chill and take break in between. Recommended to visit especially with family and kids.

It's a really nice family friendly place that has events happening every half an hour. They have a wide variety of birds and they are all super friendly. They run a rehabilitation center and the staff are all very knowledgeable. You can easily spend one day here learning and interacting with various types of birds across the world

Great place to visit. 3-4 hours with children. Several birds are free to roam. Several big cages. And a few seems sad with a little space in a cage. Great experience to pose with birds. Full of colors and songs. The shows also informative and fun.

Enjoyed a great couple of hours around the park before going to airport. The birds, plus Komodo dragons, are extremely well cared for, with excellent details in several languages at every aviary and enclosure. The park gardens are immaculate and lots of shady areas to recover from the Bali heat. Many interactive spots for children and adults alike, and family friendly talks around the park regularly, encouraging interaction with many birds. Excellent photo opportunities Great cafe/ restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent well prepared and presented lunch, at extremely competitive pricing. Would definitely visit again.

I arrived at the entrance in time for the morning opening. The staff in the lobby were friendly, and the program, which runs about half an hour apart, made me forget to time pass. However, during the 10:30 program, my head was bleeding from a large bird attack, but the blood stopped due to the employee's kind and calm response. It was good to make a memory that I will never forget for the rest of my life. The park is spacious but fairly organized, and the birds here look clean and healthy. The toilet with air conditioning was the best, clean and no smelly. There is a reptile park right next to it, and it would be good to look around if you have time after looking at the new park.

Beautiful combination of open space bird interactions and globally regional aviaries, over 200 species of healthy birds. Many interactive shows exhibiting natural bird behaviors, we walked around 3.5 mi snacking in between roaming and pouring rain. They have umbrellas for visitors anf plenty of restrooms and snack spots with reasonable prices. Gift shop at entrance/exit. Plenty of grab availability for local in and out transport.

Bali Bird Park was great It’s not a massive place but it’s so interesting and they have many beautiful birds. Also we watched the Komodo Dragons being fed which was very cool. The hands on bird experience is terrific and the bird shows are a must see. 2&1/2 to 3 hours is all you need but a great time for everyone

Our visit to Bali Bird Park was an enchanting and immersive experience. The park offers a unique opportunity to see a variety of birds, including many colorful parrots, flying freely in their natural habitat. This setting allowed us to closely observe and appreciate these beautiful creatures. It was a delightful way to spend time together, surrounded by the vibrancy and life of the bird world. The park's layout and the freedom given to the birds made our visit truly memorable. Highly recommended for anyone looking to connect with nature and enjoy a peaceful yet engaging experience.

A really good place if you are a nature lover or an animal lover. You'll get to have very close experience to exotic birds. There are scheduled bird shows so don't miss it. The first one is at 11 am. It starts with birds of prey and it's a treat to watch such well trained birds. Make sure you sit in the front rows so that when they ask for volunteers, you can go forward. You can go around the park and wait for another show which brings you even more close to the birds. Because in the next show it becomes a feeding session in the end. It's a very informative and wonderful experience for the kids. So if kids are with you, it's even better for them. The park also has merchandise shop inside.

Nice and clean park. Visited the place a while ago and I managed to watch the show. It's cute how every bird has a unique name and they are very smart. Got a chance to see the komodo feeding as well, even though it's just a baby komodo. The park is clean and green. There are restaurant inside as well. Everything is perfect. Recommended for your family outing.

Superb time. The birds seemed happy and the keepers were really into their animals. Highly recommend. Of course, the reptile park is right next door and we did both. We were there in time to feed the pelicans slimy fish. Good times.

Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Pura Penataran Sasih, also called The Moon Temple, is a Hindu temple located in Bali. It was built in AD 1266 and served as the state temple of Pejeng kingdom. The temple is notable for its ancient bronze kettle drum known as the Moon of Pejeng, which dates back to 300 BC and is Southeast Asia's largest bronze kettle at around 2 metres long.
This is an unassuming but special local temple, as it is home to the largest extant bronze age kettle drum in the world, the Moon of Pejeng. These drums can be familiar to you if you have visited historical museums in mainland Southeast Asia, such as in Vietnam or Thailand, hosting Dong Son drums. This one is said to have been made locally in around 300 BC. The keeper at the entrance has a one page story and info on it in French, entrance was 20k. 2 minutes from the archeological museum. Oh and contrary to most Balinese temples, this is full of really old (9-14th century) sculptures of deities, although not in a great shape.

Pura penataran Sasih , remind me to local myth telling there is a moon collected at this temple. Later on when I got into elementary school there was a visit to the temple. Most of us very curious want to see the moon at the temple. Then the moon just outbof our expectation. What said to be the moon is big antique old bronze drum ..hah ..later on I read a theory that the drum may be once time was use in an old rites to recall rain as for agriculture tradition this kind of rite was very common.

Bali Safari and Marine Park, also known as Taman Safari Indonesia 3, is a family-friendly destination located in Serongga Village, Gianyar Regency, Bali Province. It offers a unique experience by combining wildlife in their natural habitat with Balinese culture. The park serves as a breeding ground for endangered animals and houses over 60 species within large enclosures that mimic their natural environments.
Got lucky. Less than 100 people in park. Was awesome. Still hot and sweaty. But, elephant show was worth it and I loved the ride on one with my daughter. Prices are reasonable. Everyone working at the park genuinely knew their job and was willing to assist.
Steven Ramsey — Google review
A very nice and educational experience. The shows that they have are both amazing and educational. You learn so much for the animals and they inform you about the problems that these endangered species have. The animals looked healthy and happy in this park. Also, the safari tour is very good and you can see plenty animals from a small distance. Very safe and clean park totally worth the visit. Also a perfect destination for families as there is a small water park for kids. Top recommended!

Visiting Bali Safari Park is a great way to spend a day with the family. All animals look healthy with shiny fur. Little otters colony is one of my favorites! They are so cute! 😄 Also I recommend to take pics with the big parrots, really worth it! For kids there is fun zone and water park, they could easily spend there 1-2 hours. Acrobatic show was mostly a joke, only one guy on the picture was nailing it! The food is surprisingly not expensive inside the park unlike in the States. And it is quite good quality as well! Parking is convenient and they have a lot of clean restrooms on the territory of the park. It worth to mention that it is better to buy tickets in advance online. Friend of us was going to go there over the weekend, but it were no tickets left. Overall, it is a nice place and I would recommend going there!
Maxim Fedchishin — Google review
The first time we visited here was back in 2019 and now we came back again in 2023. The park has evolved way too much in this period of time. Many more attractions have been added, now there is also a small water park available for kids to enjoy. Restaurants, ice cream parlours, refreshment area, and ice popsicles are the best indeed. Underwater marine park is under construction making it another attraction when it will be complete. The park is situated in a huge area, so if you visit all attractions then maybe you'll need a full day to complete it.

One of the tourist spots that you have to drop by. I love how the safari park design the route around the area. Indonesia is very unique and you can find all rare animals here. Food can be found around the place. The price is reasonable for tourists.

Went on their payday promo. It wasn’t that packed. The zoo showed some humane towards the animals, I mean despite the animals being captivated, they were give quite some space to play along. Place isn’t that big, so it’s good for people who doesn’t like walking. There are also safari tour that you take on a bus, it was pretty cool to see the wild life animals. The animals didn’t look deprived either, so that was a good sign.

We came around 10am in the weekend (we thought its will be long line, surprisingly all is smooth!) and the place quite big. We need to change our ticket first in the locket and free entry for below 3 y.o. There is rental stroller for kids for 100k all day long. We use safari bus to transfer to the attraction area, and we finish all the show in half day! For the last, we enjoy the safari trip by safari bus and we are done by 4pm. We are so enjoying the trips and the show is amazing!

Bali Safari and Marine Park is a wonderful attraction that offers something for everyone. The park is home to a wide variety of animals, including tigers, elephants, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, otters and many more. If you come with children, don’t miss the water park, they could easily spend there a couple of hours. There are plenty of parking spaces. The restrooms are clean and well maintained. Food court can offer inexpensive variety of Indonesian and Western food. Unfortunately there are no gluten free options available. Also keep in mind that if you purchase your tickets online (through the official website) in advance, they DO NOT offer refunds or rescheduling! Besides that, overall it was a nice family experience! Thank you Bali Safari and Marine Park!

Loved the visit to Bali Safari. The entrance itself is beautiful. They have a couple of packages to choose from prior to entering the safari starting from basic packages to premier packages. I felt that they were a little overpriced. The safari is maintained at a very clean level and the staff are very polite. The buses used for the safari are also very well maintained and clean, the best part during the safari trip was we got to see a deer give birth live, so was a beautiful experience. The safari also has a couple of restaurants one being the lion safari restaurant where you can dine while the lions roam around outside the restaurant, don’t worry it’s protected by a strong glass. The food however wasn’t very good here. Also they do have a resort where you can stay inside their premises and this seems beautiful as you can sleep and wake up to the surrounding animals. But I think that booking is difficult due to overbooking. Great place overall.

Bali Safari Park and Resort is like stepping into a wildlife wonderland! The animals are a real highlight – you get to get really close and personal with them during the safari journey. The guides are super informative, making the whole experience not just fun but educational too. My only suggestion would be to add more shady spots for visitors, especially when it's scorching hot. The resort itself is top-notch, with comfy accommodations and great dining options. It's a must-visit for anyone who loves nature and animals!

We visited Bali Safari and Marine Park (Taman Safari Bali) and we got to see so many animals! We watched two animal shows; the elephant show and the tiger show. It was great to hear the way the presenters spoke about conservation and what the Safari Park is doing to protect animals from extinction. We also went on the Jungle Hopper which takes you through the Safari (Indonesian, Asian and African animal sections). There are so many animals to see which is very cool. I have to be honest though and say I feel it is a bit suss that the predators such as lions and tigers happily just lay exactly where they are supposed to in their designated areas 🤔 My partner did Otter feeding which was only about 30-50k. It was a bit icky because the otters became super aggressive with each other and were acting like they were starving as soon as the food came out. We wouldn't do that again. Overall we had a nice day and would visit again.

Bali Safari is an incredible zoo experience that goes beyond expectations. Set in the lush landscapes of Bali, it's more than just a typical zoo—it's a wildlife adventure. The variety of species is astounding, from big cats to exotic birds, elephants, and more. What sets Bali Safari apart is its commitment to conservation and education. You can engage in various interactive experiences, like feeding giraffes or getting up close with baby animals, all while learning about their behaviors and conservation efforts. The safari journey itself is a highlight, where you embark on a thrilling ride through different zones, encountering animals from around the world. The facilities are top-notch, with spacious enclosures that prioritize the animals' welfare while providing visitors with excellent viewing opportunities. There are also dining options within the park, allowing you to refuel while enjoying stunning views of the wildlife. Overall, Bali Safari offers an unforgettable experience for animal lovers of all ages. It's a place where you can immerse yourself in the beauty of nature, learn about conservation, and create lasting memories with family and friends. A pleasant Zoo experience for the family. I am amazed with how clean and safe the place is. The bus rides are so fun and comfy with the cool AC and informative guide. The animals also look very healthy and well-cared. I really appreciate the message they shared after the live performances so we can further care for the endangered species. The only issue is the pricey food and beverage so I reccomend you bring one yourself or buy a popcorn. Overall, a very enjoyable and informative Zoo trip.

My visit to Bali Safari and Marine Park was a mixed experience due to the rainy weather. While there were some limitations, I still had a memorable time. Here’s my review: The parking lot at Bali Safari and Marine Park was not too spacious, which made finding a spot a bit challenging. It would be beneficial if they could expand the parking area to accommodate more visitors. Unfortunately, the rainy weather during my visit prevented me from fully enjoying the safari park. However, I did get the opportunity to watch a fantastic animal show, which was engaging and entertaining. The talented animals and their trainers put on a remarkable performance. I was disappointed that the safari journey by bus was not operational due to a fallen tree blocking the road. This unforeseen circumstance was beyond the park’s control. Nevertheless, I appreciate the safety precautions taken and their quick response in resolving the issue. The staff at Bali Safari and Marine Park were friendly and helpful. They even assisted me in carrying my baby stroller, which made navigating the park much easier. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist guests added to the positive experience. The park itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable environment for visitors. Despite the rain, I found the facilities to be in good condition and conducive to enjoyment. Overall, despite the challenges caused by the rainy weather and the temporary closure of the safari journey, Bali Safari and Marine Park still managed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience. I appreciate the efforts of the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the park. I would love to visit again under better weather conditions to fully explore all that the park has to offer.

Here in Bali safari -various events are presented by animals such as Tiger performance,Elephant performance,Birds show& snake show etc It was amazing to see the animals from inside the safari. Angus performance by local artists in theatre was awesome for their devotion & dedication. Animals looks to be healthy as they are looked after well by the staff. Food was quite good & inexpensive. Rest rooms are nice & tidy. Parking was convenient &well maintained. Trip to Bali without visiting Bali safari is incomplete or half done. Recommend tourists to visit Bali safari and enjoy full day.

Value for money Trip. We get to see 3 shows on the tickets price.. which are very good. Half an hour jungle safari tour by bus is very good as you can see all the animals. Restaurants having good options.

Unlike in West Java, you can’t drive around using your car. Instead they provide a panoramic bus of some sort. But it is better I suppose since there’s explanation of the animals by the guide. They have 3 shows; animal presentation, elephant, and tiger performance that runs several times a day. Also there’s elephants strolls around the park that you can take photos with. P.S. I still wonder where’s the marine section is 🧐

Bali Safari is such an amazing experience on a visit to Bali, Indonesia. The wildlife here, though simple, yet stands out and are well showcased. The entire Park and area is really well maintained and taken care of. Right from the start with the Bus tour, through the different shows, the entire experience (which takes around half the day) really keeps you on your toes and excited about what's next. This is a really good place for family trips and is quite kid friendly too; having said that it is a good place for cute couple dates and trips. The staff are very serious about their job and it clearly shows with the effort they put into their work. Kudos to Bali Safari and their staff.

Bali Pulina

Mentioned on
Cafe
Sights & Landmarks
Bali Pulina is a coffee plantation that provides a stunning view of the surrounding rice fields. This place is a great way to learn about how coffee is made, as well as taste different types of coffee. The cafe also sells traditional crafts and souvenirs from the area.
Of course we are not a fan of keeping those animals in a cage. Nevertheless - just focusing on the areal, the Plantage, the service and our personal tour guide, we think it’s worth to go. In the beginning, they charge you 100k/Person. Therefore you get walked around by a local guide which speaks good English. You can ask details about different herbs and plants. In the end, at the coffee, you can use those 100k/Person for drinks. It’s like a budget you have. We got the coffee tester, a separate cup of Luwak coffee, a tea and coconut ice. Still there was budget left. So we didn’t add up. Everything was good. You should go there to if you seek awareness of Luwak coffee production.
Stefan — Google review
The entrance fee is IDR100,000 per person. For that you get a free tour of their coffee plantation, a coffee and snack of your choice. The guide we got was helpful and described each segment of the coffee making procedure very well. He also explained about the plants and trees present there and it’s importance in Bali. We also tried the Luwak Coffee but it turned out to be too strong for my liking. Parking space was also sufficient. Overall great experience.

Wow! What an amazing experience. It’s free to get in. We were given a free tour by a very informative young man. He was truly surprised and grateful when we tipped him for sharing his knowledge with us. The flight of coffee was delicious and gave you a chance to try all the different varieties, all grown right here on the property. They also have a beautiful gift shop where you can buy anything and everything they grow. Highly recommend.

It's a nice place where you can experience Luwak coffee and be welcomed with a small tour of the production stages. Its natural pool and hanging iron bridge create a beautiful atmosphere. However, my only bad criticism is; The animals in this and all similar places are locked in small cages or neutralized with sedatives for display. This use of animals in general destroyed my interest in this coffee in general and this was the last time I drank it…

Very scenic place and we had a tour of how the luwak coffee is made ..the process around it. She showed us coffee bean as well as the luwak cats were also there. Found their luwak coffee tasty though it was a bit expensive.

Great tour! Our guide spoke great English and explained all about the process of growing and roasting coffee. As well as a few other crops such as cocoa, vanilla etc. The entrance price was very reasonable at 100,000 IDR each which included 1 meal and 1 drink set each. The view is beautiful too, the cafe overlooks the valley with the plantation below.

After visiting the rice fields in Ubud, our Bali guide offered to take us over to the Bali Pulina plantation. Expecting to go there for refreshments, we were extremely surprised and entertained by our wonderful host in a tour of the plantation. Great explanations of the plants and biodiversity of the plantation. The tour of the tools used – current and past – was interesting. Finished off with a wonderful coffee and sweet rice snack relaxing on the large decking overlooking the valley. It made an enjoyable morning
JAMN S — Google review
Having been to a few of the coffee plantations I didn't think the concept could be improved on. However, Bali Pulina is a well maintained and polished operation, albeit with an authentic Balinese theme. The only criticism is that some of the menu items were unavailable.
Paul Knauer — Google review
Very good experience. It is all organised from the time you arrive. There is no entry fee. You are taken on a tour of the grounds and explained the process. There are so many other trees to look at too like cacao etc. Then you sit on a tranquil deck area and choose which tasting you want and you can order sweet treats, all of which you pay for. I would recommend the visit.

It's definitely a gem! The staff is very nice and helpful. The place has free entry and tour, you can also have a tasting of their coffee and tea at a very good price ☕ 🍵 The view is amazing! They even have a free pool which looks great, so bring your swimsuit if you feel like taking a bath! It's also very quiet, peaceful and not many people seem to know about it.
Romina Pusztai — Google review
A must visit if you like coffee. Really friendly and informative staff that take you on a tour of the plantation, show you the different things they grow, explain the full coffee making process and even let you try your hands at it yourself. After the tour you can try all the different coffees and compare the flavours in a lovely setting overlooking the valley below. Bring you swimming suits as they have a lovely natural pool. It is a bit of a trek down and then up but it is worth it. Down by the pool is is a toilet, changing room and shower

Nice coffee plantation. Was quiet and no other people when we visit. No free testing but overall if you looking for somewhere with less crowds and enjoy your time tasting coffee. This is a good place. The staff was not pushing us to purchase at the end of the tour.
Kit Chau — Google review
The space is pleasant with a staff well prepared to welcome tourists. After a brief visit to the various plantations, we were shown the animal (CIVETA) that produces the most expensive coffee in the world, Kopi Luwak, through its feces. This was followed by a (paid) tasting of 5 different types of coffee and of course the famous Luwak. For me it was the first and last time I drank this coffee, I can't get rid of the image of those wild animals trapped inside cages, until their death, with the sole objective of collecting the excrement produced.
Vitor Santos — Google review
I didn’t know what to expect. I got to the plantation and had a great guide that walked me through the process, answered all of my questions and then took me to the tasting. It was not very busy, nice pleasant atmosphere and great traditional food to try! Loved the Cacao and Ginger coffee. This location is worth a visit.
Melissa Grace — Google review
Only a limited choice of snacks (3) and a variety of specialty local coffee selections. I personally like the vanilla coffee, but the wet coffee has a great aroma. There is a minimum amount of 100k to use the card to pay at the cashier. Either order enough items to exceed that amount or buy items in the gift shop. Everything in there is at least 40k.

The night market Pasar Senggol Gianyar in the city of Gianyar, Bali is a great place to buy local Balinese food and souvenirs. There are many stalls selling delicious Indonesian street food, clothing, and handicrafts. The atmosphere is fun and lively, perfect for a relaxing evening out.
Fun place for shopping local clothes, dinner in local warungs, kids to play, good fun!

The market is quite interesting, selling a variety of local food. But I had a bad experience when I ordered the satay menu, the portion was small, but I was given 2x more expencive the price compare to local people, eventhough I'm a domestic tourist

Fun time. Nice night market. Ate a lot of different food. Came through quickly the next day but may have been the coconut earlier or the extra heat I asked for. Either way a good experience at the night market that I will not forget.

Went here with a group, which worked very well indeed, as it's the kind of place you need to be able to share both food and experiences. Our local guide had an excellent knowledge of not just the food on offer, but its preparation and source. It was a great evening and I ate well, perhaps too well!

Very traditional local market. The actual market is not passar senggol gianyar that comes up on the grab app. It's at senggol batubulan. We got picked up half a block away for cheaper as well.

Brought here personally by my tour guide who needed to help us order food. Had dinner here Wide range of food available. From nasi to satay to desserts. Local price. Very cheap and tasty. Per pax up to 15k for great portion. Possible to do some shopping at very low price.

Largest night market we've been to in Bali. Came the times in a week and more stalls each time. Multiple srombotan stalls. Best one was in the corner with seating behind it. All was for 5k. Satay of fish in the middle was quite nice but the pork belly was only ok. Lamb satay on the outside road was really nice. Ordered 20 by mistake but enjoyed it all. Boiled peanuts also available at the market.

Local night market outside of Ubud The tuna sate sticks were absolutely divine. Since going pescatarian 6 years ago, sate sticks consisted of peppers and what not. You get 7 sticks for 20k. Absolutely delish. The geprek / crispy food stall on the side road was fresh and crispy. Went back for more but she had sold out on the pisang goreng. Gado-gado for 5k was an absolute steal. My husband and I loved this place for food. Although it was a 20mins drive to get to, we spent next to nothing on delicious food. Highly recommend

The desert aren't tasty. Be careful of the desert with coconut, I bought some to try and tasted the spoil - not sure how many days these deserts have been made. The deep fried sausage tastes bland. Cost from 10,000 to 20,000 IDR each. We also try the sate babi and sate tuna, they are quite salty and lot of fat. They charged more for tourist. (14 skewers cost us 40,000 IDR). After the rain, there are a lot of puddles around the market, so be careful and watch your steps. The coconut stall outside of the market also charged extra for 1 small coconut (20,000 IDR). We used to dine in at the beach in Kuta which has the coconut double the size with the same price. Overall, we don't like the experience with food in this night market. The food is still affordable, but taste aren't good, and doesn't seem safety. It's fun to go and see around, just don't raise your expectation too much with the food quality.

At 19 wita i arrived Pasar Senggol Gianyar. Night market that offer various traditional menu legendary Gianyar - Bali Food and Beverage. Lots of stall sell Nasi Campur Ayam. White rise we call nasi with Steamed tasty chicken with assorted "Lauk" or topping, there are steamed veggie with grated coconut, sambal matah ( fresh chillies + shallot + onion + salt + coconut oil. All chopped & mixed ) , brown boiled chicken egg, fried egg, sambal matah, tum ayam ( steamed chicken chop with herbs banana leaf wrapped ), cucumber sliced, corn fritters and a small cup of chicken soup with labu siam may i call small greeny white pumpkin. Small portion is 20.000 IDR and 25-30.000 IDR for med. to large portion. Nice! Yummy! Repeatable

A cool Pasar malam night market with plenty of food, daily necessities and other stuff! Parking is Rp1k that you pay when you leave. The uncle will take care of ur bike and stop traffic for you. There are some tall rock walls and skate time here too.

Do not recommend for tourist! Shops will over charge for everything and are very aggressive. Food was not sanitary. There are children who will beg for money and will not leave you alone while you are eating. Someone followed us around market and tried to steal my bag. Tourist stay away.

The Indonesian restaurant Warong Legong is well-known and popular among locals and tourists in the Gianyar district, boasting excellent service, esthetic cafe designs, and a variety of regional dishes as well as Western food. Among its main menu items are delicious chicken dishes that are soft and rich in flavor. The restaurant also offers free pick-up and drop-off service on request.
Went here for lunch just on the side of jalan Ida Bagus Mantra. Its like mini forest inside. Food was great, they offered me additional side dish for free. Fuyunghai was great also their fish. Ordered coffee latte which has more milk than coffee, i prefer it like that, so for caffeine addict might want to ask for more coffee.

Delicious local food, good service, and friendly owner. Love the pepes ikan! It was so fresh and well flavoured. This dish can easily become awful if the fish is not fresh. They provide free shuttle service and free delivery for nearby hotel guests. Will definitely go back if I'm in the area.

Overall we liked this place. Really loved the spring rolls and the salad was fresh. My grilled fish was very heavy, but tasty. It happened to start raining and several of the tables got very wet. The 65000 for hot tea was a bit shocking and the overall price was a little high compared to other places.

A very nice family restaurant and serves variety of food options. The owner was very welcoming and friendly towards us. They allowed dogs to dine in which was very helpful for us pet owners. The food was delicious as well, I enjoyed the nasi campur and the singkong chip freebies. They actually do sell the singkong chips for 25k/box. Thank you warung legong!

Have visited this place a lot of times. Most of the foods that I tried are all good. For it's quality, quantity and its pricing i would say it's top notch. Menu are super varied. Their service are also superb. Waitress are friendly and reaponsive. Atmosphere is also super cozy. Just 1 thing to keep in mind though, sometimes you have to wait for the food to come out a little long. Other than that, i cant find a reason to not go here 👍🏻.

This resturant is a hidden gem. The entrance is facing the buzzing road but it feels like entering into another dimension upon entering the resturant. The resturant environment has a combination tradition decoration and a spectacular view of the rice paddy field. Just awesome 👏🏻🤩 this experience is worth to try. Whether you are the hotel guest, safari visitor or you just wanna try any meal with lions. Also there are different meal packages with giraffes and African animals. All worth to try. We were the hotel guest and our hotel reservation included breakfast so we tried the breakfast with lions, the buffet was complete👌🏼 we tried lunch and also in the evening we tried the bar and dinner and again it was good. Not only you can see the lions but also when safari tours come to the lions you can watch others experience and encounter with lion feedings, I highly suggest both the quality of food and also the experience with lions.

We were starving and there's no restaurant near us except dapur lebih. So we decide to eat here. Nobody beside us there, we were kinda suspicious. This restaurant either serve mediocre food, or very expensive. But when we look at the menu, the price is not expensive at all. Fried rice only 35k idr. So we ordered several dishes like nasi goreng and grilled fish combo. Turns out that the food is very delicious. And quite big portion too. Highly recommended for starved people after Bali safari adventure. Cheers

Nice place beautiful green grass meadow and rice fields view. Resto room under the real airplane B-737/400 monument. Foods were good tastes, especially Bebek bakar or Bebek betutu.

The aeroplane was a bit disappointing both from the outside, as well as the inside. The exterior was dirty and the interior was very basic. There were a couple of normal tables, chairs and 2 big standing ACs. The food on the other hand was affordable and quite good. It was fun to see that there was a drone exhibition and competition.

As our hotel is nearby, we pass through this restaurant several times, and its looks so catchy since they have airplane there. The food is really good. We tried bebek betutu and chicken parmagiana which are so yummy and it worth the price compare to several bali restaurants that charged us more for food that isnt as tasty as this one. Very kids friendly too, they have kids menu as well. The staff said that the bebek goreng is even better and its their best seller. And its best to come in the evening so we could see the view of keramas beach, taking pictures in the airplanes wings, etc. But the atmosphere at night is good as well for me. Good to eat here after visiting bali safari ❤️

Wonderful food, definitely worth its price, atmosphere is not too bad, it very much depends on who the other guests are. Lunch is weird indeed because there's a pool going through the middle of the restaurant, but this place is really only for dinner or breakfast. Amazing atmosphere and views everywhere you look, the service was excellent and the staff were very friendly, the food was outstanding and really delicious we tried several dishes and all of them were mind blowing, a true 5 star experience, there was a band playing acoustic soft music which enhanced the experience, the restaurant is located in a resort and overlooking black sand beach, I would really recommend this place 👌

The views were good, would suggest this place for an evening or dinner spot. They have like coupons for lunch you can get from the reception. The menu is limited but it was worth it. Try to book in advance if you are planning, kids will love the place. Also they do have this curated plants to take good photos in.
