Taj Mahal, a 17th-century marvel in Agra, India, is a Mughal-style mausoleum made of marble. It features minarets, a mosque, and meticulously designed gardens. Rudyard Kipling described it as an embodiment of purity and beauty.
It's magnificent.. but there's better marble work in Mt.Abu. Different moods n different hues

Marvellous piece of Architecture. In India there many places with great architecture. This monument is worth visiting. Better to book online tickets and avoid long queue. Early morning is best time to visit less crowded and peaceful. Drinking water is available inside gate no need to carry bottles avoid plastic.
Asha Rajput — Google review
Here, you will get the image of the monument reflected on the water. However, it is a crowded spot so you have to wait for your turn to be able to position here, and quickly take your shots once you're in front as others also want to be in this prime spot.

Cherish your moment there, an iconic heritage site. No wonder it's among the wonders. Go to the site during proper day light and spend time till evening to enjoy the sunset moment. The normal entry ticket costs 50 per head, whereas to the podium it will be 150. Of course it's worth visiting and look at the artworks from close eye distance. Keep your token handy, as it is required while exit.
Srinivas Patnaik — Google review
As expected a truly incredible experience. It was magnificent and worth hiring a guide to explore the entire area. Recommend using the restroom before entering the grounds as they are very limited there and not great. Make sure to look at the detail In the marble with all of the exotic stone inlays (by hand) in the dome.
David Costa — Google review
Always a stunning place to look upon, with a mesmerizing and breathtaking view, no matter how many times you have visited. Recently, a main mausoleum ticket has been introduced, costing ₹150. For those visiting for the first time, they might consider buying the ticket, but I suggest not to. There's nothing inside worth spending an extra ₹150 for , the main entry ticket is for ₹50 (also don't buy those shoes cover outside, you can get them for free at the main mausoleum entry and you only need them for main mausoleum )

How can you not visit one of the 7 Wonders of the World?! This palace is simply amazing and beautiful. I have no words for this beautiful structure. Beyond its beauty, there is a powerful story of the history, involving family, murder, imprisonment, death, and memorial after death. Despite seeing a lot of other visitors there, it didn’t feel crowded. And once you entered inside to see the replica of the tombs, you entered in single file that seemed to move along quickly. The grounds are well maintained and beautiful and overall it was fairly clean. Getting back was a trip! Waiting for the golf cart transport with the other visitors, there was no proper order or manners-so you gotta be quick if you want a seat on the transport back!

No matter how many times you have visited this wonderful monument, every time it feels so different and so amazing and it really would be a monumental regret of your life to not have visited this monument once in your lifetime. It's like this monument has a life of its own and you too will feel it when you are near to it. No wonder why many dream of visiting this wonder everyday. I wish I get a chance to visit this beauty again!

No doubt it's one of the 7 wonders of the world. Spectacular, Beauty created with great architectural skills. Hire a guide there and you will get so much more to know. It will take around 1hour 30 minutes for a full tour with a guide. It has been created so thoughtfully ages ago that you can't imagine. The symmetry in architecture, the 2D designing giving 3D illusions, the carvings of gems and the way they glow in light, I was so amused to see all that which I didn't know earlier. I admire the beauty but more than that the architectural skills. Must visit atleast once in a lifetime..

Well managed but for the first timers, it can be tricky to take autos from the car parking as autos are only allowed till a certain point. It is best to take government run battery buses from parking to entry point. From there just a 2 minute walk and one can buy entry tickets before getting in the queue. A big racket and ruckus about shoe covers, so please buy them in advance !
Surinder Singh — Google review
Very nice maintained world heritage monument. Recommended to arrive at Taj early morning from 5:30 - 6:00 am when the queue is not there. Wheelchair are available free. Battery cars take you from the parking for a nominal fee of Rs 20/- per person.

Historical Monument of India and one of the seven wonders of the world. It is still charming though many years have passed. There is brilliance and accuracy in every portion of the monument. The area is taken care very well. The garden is Maintained well. There are plenty of visitors visiting each and every day from different places and countries. Thanks to the authorities for the timely maintenance and protection given to it.

Nice and impressive building. We couldn’t make the most of it due to the fog during the 2 days we stayed in Agra. So crowed. The access to the building from the city is a chaos. This should be considered and improved for one of the wonders of the world.

It’s a must visit destination in india It is an architectural marvel and an enduring symbol of love. Its stunning white marble facade, intricate carvings, and symmetrical gardens attract millions of visitors annually. While some may find it crowded, its historical significance and breathtaking beauty make it a must-visit destination. However, preservation efforts are essential to maintain its grandeur for future generations. I would recommend hiring a guide as it will help you in entry and will click your good pics as they know the trending pics also

Very nice place feeling is good. Absolutely stunning and marvelous; must-see in your lifetime. Even if the journey is long for you (40 hours for me to get here from Florida) it is worthwhile getting to see this fantastic structure. I highly recommend you pay for a guided tour as it will be educational and efficient. The great photography was a bonus! Indescribable the setting and the architecture as well as the love story here. Hire a local photographer for their digital copy then you don’t have to worry about getting nice photos. They know the nice shots for you. You could get a paper copy as a choice. Go to the other side across the river as well to see from a different view. It looks different depending on the time of day.Spectacular! Great history and amazing architecture! Must see whilst visiting North India. Absolutely loved it. Although if you are non Indian tourist, you have to be careful with local tour guides and shop owners not to try to charge you few times more for services and items.

Title: One of the seven Wonders of the world. Reason: It's epic construction and the detailing done on it. Suggestion: Must go in your lifetime but it's worthwhile for a one time visit only.

A very nice location with good vibes. It is one of the greatest locations in the world, and you should see it at some point in your lifetime. Even if the journey is long, you should consider taking a guided tour. It is an amazing structure to see. The great photography was an unexpected bonus! The location, architectural design, and the love story are incredible. You can hire a local photographer to obtain high-quality pictures. They will help you take pictures of your choice. You can also purchase a hard copy. You can look at it from another perspective by crossing the river. It is different at various times of day. It is an amazing history and an amazing structure! It is something that can be appreciated while visiting North India. It was marvelous. While it may be hard for non-Indian tourists to find local guides and shopkeepers who will not try to overcharge them for services and items, it is very worthwhile.

One of the 7 wonders of the world for a reason and that reason can only be experienced and not explained. This was my 2nd visit and once again got mesmerized by its beauty, salute to efforts put into carvings. the gems and stones used glitters in sunlight even after 400 years. Must visit place. Lived up to it's expectation as a wonder of the world. The story behind the mausoleum is very sad but demonstrated a different world. We went on the anniversary of the kings death which meant we could see extra things and this was lucky for us! Stunning!

What can I say, it's the most amazing place I have ever visited. The story behind the Taj Mahal and the craftsmanship is incredible. I went as part of a tour, I would definitely recommend getting a tour guide as they can tell you all about the history. We got there just before 8am and there were no wait times at all and this was a Saturday. There are photographers who will take your picture if you want them to but otherwise your tour guide will know all of the best spots to have them. I truly hope I get to visit again!

It's a beautiful place and a beautiful structure. The view of yamuna is amazing on the backside, properly maintained and garden view is also great. A must visit place with friends or family. Just one thing which was not okay that washrooms are not properly maintained other than that it's a great area and great place. I really enjoyed being there 👍🏻

Don't hire photographers and guides. Service not good. They'll eat your money. Instead take your own camera. Peta sweet is very famous here but again bargain. Ask rates in 3-4 shops and then buy. Of course an iconic place. Enjoy

Visited my first ‘7th Wonder of The World’ and I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it was. We had a guide who was very knowledgeable about all aspects. There are a lot of vendors who try to sell you items which are probably not authentic. Don’t fall for the photographers too who will charge you an arm and a leg. A must see!

One of the great and huge historic monument. It would be better if you take a guide because there are many historical buildings inside this fort, which he will be able to explain better. A historical fort having incredible architecture and ambience. A vast area of fort is with Indian Defence. Better to visit the fort with a Guide who can explain the historical aspects of the fort. The entrance, ambience, Courtyards and other structures are really grand. The red stone and marbles used for construction of the fort, give a royal feeling.

Agra Fort is one of the largest forts in India. We are only allowed to explore 20% of the area. And yet, those 20% are already big enough for us to explore, which is remarkable 🤩 And yes, it's a very nice place for a photo shoot 📸 We booked a tour guide in advance, and it was worth every penny as they told us the story and history of the Agra Forts and more. Tips: Do wear comfy shoes, t-shirts, bring small towel and mineral water. Avoid visiting in the afternoon as it will be getting hot there.
Dini N — Google review
The Agra Fort is one of the biggest forts in India. While the exterior is impressive, there isn't much to see inside. However, the walls and rooms are in good condition and well maintained. If you're interested in learning about the rich history of this place, you can hire a guide available at the entry gate. Tickets can also be purchased online for your convenience. Exploring the fort with a knowledgeable guide will enhance your experience and appreciation of its historical significance.

We went on a weekday in the evening and it was very crowded, it take more than 20 minutes to enter completing the ticket checking. The fort is beautiful and huge. Once you enter you get to take beautiful pics, considering it's huge, people scatter quickly and we get a peaceful view but don't expect too much of peace 😂

If you like walking in historical buildings or place then this is the best place for you. Very heavy work has been done on it and very beautiful flowers and leaves have been made on its walls. Because the fort of Agra is very big, so during its journey you may get very tired but you will also have a lot of fun.

One of the best fort in India. The architecture of the fort is very beautiful due to presence of red rocks. We have to walk for 40-60minutes to cover entire area inside. Security checking is there in the entrance. Carry bags are not allowed inside. Locker facility is available near to the entrance. Always preferred to go in winter or in monsoon season.

Great place to visit. Can see the mugal emperors judging court, rooms, balcony, masjid etc...Guide is needed to understand all these. If they written all the information all people can understand every place' purpose easily. There is no good food/hotel available outside the Fort.
Georgekutty Luke — Google review
The places is very well preserved. You might not need a guide if you read about the place beforehand and keep a map of the fort handy. Keep an umbrella if you’re visiting in summers, it gets really hot. Tickets are cheap, like ₹40 or something. Beware of Auto-rickshaw-wallas, they’ll try to trick you into paying a lot if you aren’t careful.

Very beautiful fort. Must visit. I prefer taking a guide every time i visit a historical place. It gives me knowledge of why the place is designed in such way or hidden places and much more history.. I would recommend the same to others. But only take government authorized guide. General charges to guide are 450 to 500 approximately or written on board sometimes.

Wow, just awesome. It's located right in front of Agra fort railway station. Auto and taxi ride are very cheap, but they will trick into booking hotels, going to good restaurants or buying pethas. They all work on commission, never fall into their trap. There are many palaces in the fort, you will surely enjoy it.

The red fort of Agra is just amazing as it was shown in movies. The story of Red fort will just kept you bound. The beauty of this monument is mesmerizing. The fort is so big, it is divided in to multiple sections according to the kings name. Every little corner is actually designed so calculatively. If you see a single pillar, then also you will feel the art and work they have done over here. If you are visiting it, then you should go for guide also. They will tell you the details of every single corner. It was an amazing experience.

Best place to see in Agra. Exterior is impressive and so does the internal parts of the fort. Eighty percent of the fort area is under the control of Army rest twenty percent is open for visitors. Hiring a guide is recommended as they will tell you about the history and architectural features of this fort.

No need to describe this place for anyone. The sheer massiveness of this place and the story attached with it is enough to make you visit this place. It's a wonder how people with no modern technology built such huge forts and it's still standing. The fort is open everyday. You can visit the fort at any time. The fort opens at 6 in the morning. You can buy an online ticket before hand if you like. But this place doesn't get that crowded so you can choose to opt for buying tickets at the counter also. It's rs 50 per person for Indians. If you want to know about the place in detail you can opt for guides. But bargain with them as the rates can be very steep at times. Being there makes you think about the historic events that have happened there.

Itmad-ud-Daula, also known as the Baby Taj, is a stunning Mughal-style mausoleum made of white marble and adorned with semi-precious stones. Built between 1622 and 1628 by Nur Jahan for her father, Mizra Ghiyas Beg, it is often considered a precursor to the Taj Mahal. The mausoleum features beautiful towers and a distinctive square top, set amidst luxurious gardens and composite buildings.
It is a historical monument quite beautiful but sadly not maintained at all. Agra Tourism Department and ASI which charges tourist should really do some serious maintenance work. This is open from sunrise to sunset. It is made up of white marble so some say it as a mini Taj Mahal and it has four doors. Back door is facing Yamuna river and the view is beautiful. You can sit here and enjoy the view. The art work on marble is beautiful and amazingly well done. Inside this, there are 4-5 graves are there which are present in four different corners of this monument. Rest this place is beautifully maintained by authorities.

The Tomb of Itimad-ud-Daula is dedicated to Mirza Ghiyas Beg, the father of Nur Jahan. Itimad-ud-Daula was his title. This mausoleum situated on the banks of river Yamuna was constructed in 1626_28 AD. There are many things in this mausoleum, known as Baby Taj, which were later adopted while making the Taj Mahal. People say that at many places the carvings here look more beautiful than the Taj Mahal. Another attraction of this mausoleum is its dome made in the Central Asian style. The gardens and paths here enhance its beauty even more. This mausoleum is the first mausoleum built in India which was made entirely of white marble. Pictures of trees, plants, animals and birds are engraved on its walls. Here and there the pictures of men can also be seen which is a strange thing because in Islam it is forbidden to use human beings as an object of decoration. Because of its beauty, this tomb is known as the Jewel Box.

Itmad-ud-Daula, often referred to as the "Baby Taj," is a gem of Mughal architecture nestled along the banks of the Yamuna River in Agra, India. You must visit this place whenever you are in Agra. Most of the people forget to visit this place. If you are a photo lover, you must take some time to take videos and photos. This is an under-visited and underappreciated site that you should go see. It really gives you an idea for where Shah Jahan got the ideas for the Taj Mahal. As you can see from my pictures, there was almost nobody there, and it was pleasant to walk around.

Itimad-ud-Daulah, otherwise known as the Baby Taj was very good for gentle scroll. This was the first Mughal tomb to be built entirely of marble. Gentle walk  by a large garden make you think about both mouseleums. Baby Taj was built by Nur Jahan and completed the construction of the building of the Tomb of her father in 1628 AD, nearly 7 years after his death. Taj Mahal was built in period of 1632 to 1648. Shah Jahan's favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal, was the niece of Nur Jahan,. Mumtaz Mahal. died suddenly in 1631, after giving birth to the couple's fourteenth child. She is buried today directly under the center of the great dome of the Taj Mahal. in her memory by her deeply grieving husband. Hmmm.....makes you think....... Definitely worth visiting.

The Taj Mahal was inspired by Itmad-ud-daula , 30rs ticket. Along with the main building, the structure consists of numerous outbuildings and gardens. The tomb, built between 1622 and 1628, represents a transition between the first phase of monumental Mughal architecture primarily built from red sandstone with marble decorations, as in Humayun's Tomb in Delhi and Akbar's tomb in Sikandra – to its second phase, based on white marble . Located on the eastern bank of the Yamuna River, the mausoleum is set in a large cruciform garden criss-crossed by water courses and walkways. The tomb is a must visit , less crowded, parking facilities available.

Soothing place. The maintenance of the Gurudwara, the langar hall and the rooms is really good. The whole area of the gurudwara is well maintained. Also there are many rooms so that is a good thing too for the ones who would need a place to stay for a day or two.

A nice calm place to connect with GOD and relax yourself. However, this Gurudwara needs to be more properly maintained. As soon as you enter the premises it is hard to distinguish if people have come to a Gurudwara aur to a park. People sit at the enterance with shoes all over, eating chips and chatting with family. In my opinion this needs to be stopped. Decorum of this sacred place needs to be maintained.

Gurudwara Guru Ka Taal is located in Agra on Chennai - Delhi highway near Sikandra Fort. This is an important pilgrimage place for the Sikh community as it is dedicated to the ninth Guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Entry to this holy place is free. When you enter this place you will feel calm and have peace of mind. Before entering the gurudwara you must take out your shoes, and bags and deposit them in lockers and take the token so you can retrieve them later. The gurudwara serves fresh warm food in langar 24×7 and you can eat as much as you can. The Gurudwara never discriminates against anyone and treats everyone equally. There is also a donation box located in Gurudwara and you can donate as per your will here.

Gurdwara Sri Guru Ka Taal Sahib is the site where Sri Guru Tegh Bahudar Ji offered his voluntary arrest to Aurangazeb, the barbaric mughal emperor. Guru Ka Taal is near Sikandra in Agra. The Bhora Sahib was where the Guru Tegh Bahadur kept for 9 days. This historic structure dates back to the 17th century. Earlier it was a Taal (reservoir) in the area near Sikandra. It was built in 1610 AD to collect and conserve rainwater in Agra during Jahangir's reign. The water of the reservoir was used for irrigation purposes during the dry season. Sri Guru Tegh Bahudar Ji (along with Bhai Mati Das Ji, Bhai Sati Das Ji, Bhai Dyala Ji, Bhai Gurditta Ji, Bhai Udo Ji, and Bhai Jaita Ji) started his journey from Anandpur Sahib, stopping at Saifabad (Patiala), Cheeka, Jind, Rohtak, Janipur, Guru Sahib reached here at Agra. Guru Tegh Bahudar first stopped at where Gurdwara Sri Manji Sahib is situated, on the left of Gurdwara Sri Guru Ka Taal Sahib, within the same complex. A poor man named Hasan Ali was grazing goats his there. At the time Aurangzeb offered a reward of Rs 500 for information leading to the arrest of Sri Guru Tegh Bahudar Ji. As Guru Tegh Bahudar was going to submit himself voluntarily he allowed Hasan Ali to benefit from the reward money. Guru Tegh Bahudar was arrested and kept at the Bhora Sahib for 9 days before being taken to Delhi under strict security. Aurangzeb was a vicous religous persecutor who wanted India to become an islamic state. As Guru Tegh Bahadur stood up for religious freedom and refused conversion he was made a sacrifice and beheaded by a proxy islamic court in Delhi. The mughal empire collapsed soon afterwards.

I visited Agra & saw this Gurudwara on my way. No doubt the Gurudwara is good but I decided to take some rest & took the room. The rooms were very bad. No cleaning at all. Taps were rusted, Geyser was not working, Toilet was very unhygienic, no soap, shampoo, towel etc. & No room Service at all & they charge 800/- just for Room. In this price hotel room can be booked with many facilities.

Gurdwara Dukh Niwaran Sahib (Guru ka Taal) in Agra located on national highway Delhi-Agra. A religious place of Sikh historical significance. The place boasts of visits of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji, sixth Guru Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib ji and the most significant being visit of ninth guru Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib ji, who on his way to Delhi for offering his life to save Hinduism from conversions and adoption of Islam by the then ruler Aurangzeb. Guru ji offered his arrest through a poor shepherd so that he could receive the Award announced by the Mughal empire for guru Ji’s arrest so that the poor shepherd could meet his ends through the award of 500 gold coins. The Gurdwara in Agra is built on the original cell where Guru ji was kept under arrest for nine days in a cell under heavy guard and security, was later shifted to Delhi under heavy armed forces and was subjected to martyrdom in Delhi where Gurdwara Sis Ganj sahib is built in guru Ji’s memory. The whole Gurdwara Sahib is elegantly built with a majestic elevation. There’s ample space in front court yard , the sanctum sanctorum is placed on elevated first floor flanked by Langar hall and the utility accommodation. There are more than 50 well furnished rooms for pilgrims. The whole Gurdwara complex is well maintained despite heavy footfall, people visiting from all corners of the globe. Being in the city of Taj Mahal, the place occupies a slot during visit of Agra. I thank management for their untiring efforts to maintain such a precious historically important religious asset.

#Dinein #restaurant #finedine 💰🤑 Price - Rs 600-700 per person (without drinks) 🍱🥘🍲🍛Food - very nice food. We ordered paneer and starters like vegetable salt and pepper. And relished all the dishes. Their mint drink served at the end is something you won’t find anywhere else 🤩 🖼🏙Ambience - decent. It was good. Nothing too great or special about it. Like any other fine dine restaurant. 👩‍🍳🧑‍🍳👨‍🍳Service - great service. We went on a busy night so it was slow, but that was ok. One of the soup was not hot so they replaced it instantly. 😎Pro Tip - find a table that’s in the centre. It’s like a mini cabin. Though a table for 6 it is very cozy.

Apart from that, most of the food was too spicy, especially chicken Tikka or tandoori, it tasted quite nice. Garlic Nan was the best when it's served warm. I wouldn't order any Chinese or Italian though. The place is meant for traditional Indian dishes, especially for those who could enjoy spice.

I am a regular visitor in Agra. Pinch of spice was one of the restaurant which serves good food. But my last visit of the restaurant turned everything upside down. I visited on Aug 19,2023 at 1215pm. The food served so badly cooked and untrained chef. Butter nan was so hard. Ordered chicken lababrdar and the chicken was so hard. All what they care is you pay no attention to quality or service. Pathetic they turned out to be. Never visit this place if you want good food and good service.

Pretty average. Veg biryani was really bogus. In Agra, you will get to hear a lot about this place; but is overrated. The staff is extremely unattentive.

Very Costly but Tasty. The restaurant lies on the main road, with no parking except a few cars on front. Atmosphere is very average with ordinary seating and an old television. The only good thing about this is food, which is very tasty and genuinely portioned. They do provide an after food drink, which is cool. Recommended for a visit or two, only of you want a decent food and nothing else.

We ordered malai kofta and paneer methi malai.... Both tasted awesome. For starters we ordered tandoori mushroom. Those were a bit overpriced and less cooked. The garlic naan was superb in taste and missi roti was ok ...though a bit hard but the taste was good. Service was on time and staff was polite. We went on a weekday so not so much rush but still it was fully occupied. Overall we had a great experience.
Honey bhutani — Google review
Food is good, but not good for group of people. We went as office group of 30-35. The seats were reserved timely and the restaurant was informed well in time. The service is not upto the mark, you have to keep begging the waiters to bring the breads - chapati.. repeatedly they will bring the naan or Missi roti as it will fill you more. What's the use of delicious food if someone had to return hungry from a restaurant. Worst experience, will never visit again.

I went to this place for having lunch. To my surprise, the place was full with people. I was expecting it would be empty, and I would not get place to sit here easily. I did get a place despite of large number of people having food here. I really had doubts when I entered the place, but it completely proved me wrong. Staff was very friendly, attentive and courteous. Foods was delicious. I ordered tomato soup and corn salt and peppers in starters and Dal Bukhara and Paneer lababdar in mains. Portion size of dishes was more than adequate which is sufficient for two persons. I was amazed with their generosity. I couldn’t find any flaw in all these dishes. I recommend this place to everyone if you like North Indian food. Pricing was moderate. Overall a very good place to have food.

Good Vibes Cafe looks exactly like its name suggests - very good vibes! It seems to be a hub for foreign tourists. The food was good, freshly made, slightly on the expensive side (veg thali was ₹200 per person) but it was fully compensated by the hospitality and service at the cafe; I was very impressed and left with a smile on my face.

They literally made us wait for half an hour for the order to get ready. But when everything came to our table, we couldn't be happier to see how delightful everything was. And how amazing it tasted. It took time because they made everything dish fresh. It tasted like that too. Soups, snacks, main course. We tasted almost everything. And it was yummy.....Only thing they should work on is their washrooms. Please do that :)

Absolute gem of a spot. Amazing special thali at a steal of a price. Water for 20 rupee and soda for 50 rupees and cheap homemade food with a range of options made me a happy man. The service was perfect. Plethora of books and games if you need a place to chill. Has two industrial coolers with many fans along the wall so you can enjoy a patio without the heat. Caught a quick glance of the kitchen and it was clean and everyone seemed happy inside. Truly Good vibes all around.

The best thali I’ve tasted so far being in India for 3 months. Of course I didn’t manage to be everywhere but I was in a lot of local restaurants and canteens. But this is outstanding one. Rotis, dal, paneer, malai kofta, mixed veg, rice and veggies. Everything is delicious. Atmosphere is lovely and disposes to vibe and dance a bit to the music. Plus I came from Mumbai concert of Ed Sheeran where I got a wristband and couldn’t resist to record the video with the background of his music. And just jiggle to “what is love” cause of the food and music 😂

Luxurious ambience, extra ordinary service, with not so impressive food. The place is very plush, and as soon as you enter you are enthralled by the decor. People are simply waiting to guide and serve you. Everything around the core was so beautiful that they forgot to focus on their main produc - food. Honestly it was just ok, given the prices and the expectation from a name like ITC. I went for the much touted buffet which dint have much to offer in terms of starters and sweets. For vegetarians we were served 'rock-solid' and 'desert-dry' daal vada. For nonveg chilli chicken was really delicious. But that's it. Only one type of starter. Main course was sumptuous with a wide variety of meals but it failed to impress the taste buds. Desserts were again not that great in terms of variety or taste. It's December and they are not offering any kind of halwa, that's strange and a turn off. Overall I liked the ambience and loved the service. But that's not compelling enough to visit the place again. Quick lesson : focus on core - the food. And then work on the auxiliaries.

While at ITC Mughal Resort & Spa, most of our meals were at Taj Bano Restaurant, an elegant restaurant with a view of the courtyard offering Indian, Western and Oriental cuisines in contemporary settings with Mughal architecture. For our first lunch, we chose to sit in the outside area to enjoy the pleasant weather crossing the indoor area of the beautiful restaurant. It was time for zaika of ‘Agra ka swaad’ especially prepared by Chef Kavitha Unni for us. Methi ke Kabab and Matar Makhane ka Shorba were very comforting. Khurmi Paneer was stuffed with cheese and was very unique, Dal Dhungari was slow cooked in whole spices and charcoal which had an amazing flavor. The non-veg variety included Bhuna Gosht which was meat latpat cooked in spices and was simply yum. We also tasted Agre ka Gosht Pulao which was remarkable. For desserts we had a platter with Hot Jalebis with Rabri and Pethe ka Halwa which extended flavours and the taste of Agra. The rich and authentic Agre ka zaika was out of the world. With ITC Hotels WeAssure initiative there was assurance of safe dining experience. The management is ensuring less or minimal contact between the staff and guests, Savlon hand sanitizer kept on all tables, all the crockery & cutlery are sanitized and prepacked so that there is no touchpoint between 2 people. Our second lunch was Express Wok which is a proper meal in box known as bento-box which comes in both veg and non veg versions. Let us decode the box for you. The Vegetarian Box had Olive Fried Rice, Asian Spring Rolls (made of rice sheets and glass noodles), Stir fried Asian Greens, Okra Chilli Bean (so unique!) and Date Pancake while the Non-Vegetarian box had Kung Pao Chicken, Governors Chicken, Soy Ginger Fish, Veg Hakka Noodles and Date Pancakes. All the dishes were so yum! We loved the concept of the Bento Box which had everything from starters to main course to desserts. Dinner was about Awadhi treat where we tried different delicacies like Hara Bhara Kebab, Murgh Kali Mirch Kebab, Subz Zafrani Shorba, Subz Miloni, Jannat-e-Numa, Dal Makhani, Maki Sarson, Gosht Awadhi Biryani and more. For desserts we had Shahi Tukda and Shahed-e-Jam. The meal was rich, authentic and flavourful and we all enjoyed it a lot. The menu was especially curated for us by Chef Ashmit Bhattacharya and Chef Kavitha Unni. A perfect meal and a perfect end! We also had a chatpata time at the hotel. ITC Mughal ensured we don’t go back without tasting the yummiest Agra ki Chaat. Over the evening they organized a special chaat time and treated us with not just one or two specialities but with 5 yummiest chaats made in house which we relished in the confines of ITC Mughal. From Jalebi Chaat to Pakodi Chaat, Papdi Chaat, Dahi Bhalla Chaat, Motia Makai Chaat…we enjoyed our lip smacking chatpata time with these yummiest chaats. Breakfast was about Zesty Mornings. At the buffet what was interesting was that there was a glass shield against every food item and no guest was allowed to take the food. Food was being served by servers wearing gloves and mask. The extensive menu included vada, idli, upma, parathas (paneer, matar and aloo) and much more. There was also a live counter where hot Dosas and Uttapams were being made fresh and served with all the 3 chutneys- peanut, tomato, mint & coriander. ITC Hotels have a concept known as ‘Local Love’ under which local dishes from the city is served everyday. We tried Bedmi Puri from the Local Love menu and absolutely enjoyed it. The array of beverages included fruit juice, milk, coffee, chai etc. We met Chef Philip who specializes in South Indian cuisine. One counter which I always check out while at a breakfast buffet is Omlettes and to my delight there were fresh and live omlettes in the making and were served with a choice of white and brown bread. For desserts, there were muffins in many varieties, waffles, pancakes, cinnamon Danish pastry and many more. We enjoyed our breakfast and the lovely spread of desserts too.

This is the most popular of all the restaurants in ITC Mughal, Agra. One reason is that breakfast is served here. Other is that it’s buffet lunch and dinner are very elaborate. Non vegetarian dishes are simply superb. Staff here is very nice and helpful. Some like Mr BHIM, Mr Ram Mohan Mr Anwar and Mr Umar Khan are always there to help. They remember personal preferences for a memorable experience. Love this place.

Cafe
Tea'se Me is a rooftop cafe that offers a relaxed atmosphere for enjoying various types of tea and Indian cuisine. The cafe is beautifully decorated and divided into four sections, including a modern outdoor area with wooden tents, an Indian-style seating area with bamboo seats, and an indoor air-conditioned space.
What a gem of a place this is hidden amidst the hustle and bustle of the city. The ambience is awesome and the food is delicious. It's a good place to hangout and enjoy the evening after Taj tour. Would definitely recommend this to couples and group of friends.

This place is more of a lounge than a restaurant or cafe. It offers open air/roof top seating on two floors. The decor and landscaping have been tastefully done, the service is very efficient and customer centric, the ambience is great at night and the music is very catchy too. The food is OK...some of the dishes such as the Cheese Garlic Bread have a home made feel to it. The Veg. Lasagna is average. However, the ambience, music and the trees around made it a fantastic experience. Was pleasantly surprised to find such a lovely lounge in a place like Agra! Sitting on the rooftop, enjoying a pleasant summer breeze with leaves fluttering on the trees around the restaurant was a total stress buster! The only dampner was the presence of mosquitos, given that the seating is outdoors. However, upon bringing it to the attention of the staff, they quickly placed mosquito coils below the tables. Also, the elevator needs to be serviced because it takes ages to appear once summoned! All said and done, this is a very pretty lounge and an unexpected surprise tucked away in the bustling city of Agra. Highly recommended for the ambience and customer experience.

Loved this cafe. We were just for a half day in town near Taj Mahal and we just randomly searched for place to eat and this one showed up. It's on third floor and have elevator. It's on two floors and have really good interior. Food and service really awesome. We wanted to have something North Indian, so we ordered chicken Afghani, kadai chicken, peach ice tea and cold coffee. We literally loved each and every dish and drink.

A star less for the pricing. The pizza which is a small one is priced for 360 or so and the loaded nachos which is basically a packet of cornitos with cheese and dips is 370 or so. Lemonade for 140. The tea which was exceptionally good was reasonably priced at 60. It was the only best part of the meal. Rest was good.

Nice place to hang out. Friendly staff. Parking is bit of a problem. Food taste is good. Cocktails are also not bad.

Found this place randomly online while in town. Definately worth it for a night cap as well as shisha/ hookah. The waiters were professional and attentive. We were seated quickly and given suggestions. Would definitely come back!

Amazing terrace in Agra! We saw this place on Google, the reviews were nice and we wanted some not Indian food for one day in our Indian trip. We arrived and the ambience was amazing, incredible house music on the terrace, we ate super well, the Risotto was astonishing. KAMAL and AFZAL were super nice to us, the treatment, the food, the view, everything was a 10/10. Super recommendable.

We stumbled up this place in Agra. It is a super cute little joint that serves some delicious Indian/western food. The food was super delicious and we really enjoyed it! The service was fantastic, the DJ even played the song I requested and staff were attentive. Food was averagely priced. The shisha was delicious and was really flavourful. The atmosphere was pretty cool and the upstairs waterfall and statue was a nice added touch. Only con was all the mosquitoes that were everywhere. However, staff put a mosquito replant when they saw we were suffering which was super nice of them. Would definitely recommend this place. It is a hidden gem.

Buffet restaurant
Barbecue restaurant
Bon Barbecue is a newly renovated restaurant in Agra that has gained popularity for its delicious and affordable North Indian, Chinese, and Continental buffet options. The concept of unlimited servings of starters before the buffet meal is amazing, with fixed prices for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. This family-friendly restaurant offers a variety of cuisines including Chinese, Indian, barbecue, and Asian dishes. Guests can choose between the buffet or ordering individual dishes from the diverse menu.
Buffet style. They serve the starters and the mains as buffet style. Everything we tried was very good and tasty. We loved the fried corn (Makkacholam 65), which is served as a starter. Staff very friendly and helpful. No Wi-Fi in the restaurant, which is something that travelers may need.

Pity that the aesthetic of this place is not upto the par of the food and the services. Highly unfortunate to see that most of the non-veg items were undercooked. The fish fry was overcooked; chicken tikka and chilli chicken were undercooked. The driver sent us here on purpose as we are tourists. Absolutely not worth for the price of the buffet. The image I've attached is all the uncooked food that I found when eating (i apologize for a very unappetizing image). When complained to the manager, he assured me that the chicken is cooked and juicy, BUT IT LOOKED ABSOLUTELY PINK AND BLOODY. THIS PLACE IS HIGHLY OVERPRICED.

There is no life here, they will be serving the starters, They took so much time to serve the food. I waited at least 5 minutes for them to serve the next starter. The food was okay. Idk how they got this many ratings. God, they made us wait even for handing over the bill. There is no Prawns.

A good place to relax and eat Biriyani without any hesitation. As Agra is a tourist place, every autorickshaw drivers will take you to places they would get commission from. This is the place where you can enjoy your time without any worry. A bit costly than regular shops but worth it.

Amazing food, great service, good ambience. The place is really nice, with good portion size. We ordered Veg Biryani and Veg Hakka noodles. They customized the order and made the noodles less spicy so that our baby can eat it too. They also provided boiled corn, cucumbers for our baby which was out of the menu and they also had baby chair. So we as a family all had a lovely evening in the beautiful city of Agra.

WOW. this place was yummy! They have both Ala carte and buffet option, and I’d recommend the buffet. We came here to get a taste of a variety of Indian foods, and each dish was so good! The service is top notch, beyond expectations. Kundan came around several times for special dishes catered to our favorites! He was great and made our experience memorable.

What a Night! Amazing! The food was excellent! Sizzling hot and tasted so good, I think I ate for two! You can opt for buffet or order individual dishes. There's a drink menu with some good cocktails, mocktails or alcohol to your preference. Staff was polite and served well. Most other diners were foreigners so I believe this place is not a very common place to dine for locals. If you think the food price is steep, check out the pictures of food that I took. It's worth the buck spent.

Very tasty indian food (with tourist approved spiciness)! We had the buffet, that came with 4 different appetizers before we even started, and had many good buffet options. In the end there was even 3 types of dessert. They also had cold beer, excellent service and accepted credit card. Just go!

Stopped here with our guide during a tour of Agra. Amazing lunch. The starters that were brought to the table as well as the buffet dishes were all excellent. Even had a dessert which was very nice. Service on the whole was good.

It is surely one of the best rated restaurants in Agra, very clean and well decorated but in our case we did not like the food. The non-spicy options are still spicy and the pasta was soggy. We also ordered cheese croquettes that did not taste like cheese, just batter. We dindnt ate buffet we ask a la carte. Maybe we didn't know how to choose well...
