Hyderabad is the capital of southern India's Telangana state. A major center for the technology industry, it's home to many upscale restaurants and shops. Its historic sites include Golconda Fort, a former diamond-trading center that was once the Qutb Shahi dynastic capital. The Charminar, a 16th-century mosque whose 4 arches support towering minarets, is an old city landmark near the long-standing Laad Bazaar.

The Shree Jagannath Temple in Hyderabad is a contemporary Hindu temple with vibrant wall carvings of gods and animals. It is a famous pilgrimage site dedicated to the Hindu community, featuring ancient shikhara style architecture resembling the original Puri Jagannath Temple in Orissa. Spanning over 3000 square yards, it houses the presiding deity of Lord Jagannath along with his two brothers and has five small temples within its premises.
Epitome of serenity, rejuvenates our soul, one of those places which gives peace of mind. Very meticulously crafted and lord Jagannath showering his divine presence. Recently renovated with art work which depicts stories can be shared with children.

The Shri Jagannath Temple in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, stands as a remarkable testament to architectural and cultural homage, drawing inspiration from the original Jagannath Temple of Puri, Odisha. The striking "Shikhara," towering at approximately 70 feet, commands attention with its intricate design and vibrant red hue, attributed to the meticulous use of sandstone imported from Odisha. Over 60 skilled stone carvers have lent their talents to shape this architectural marvel, embodying centuries-old craftsmanship and devotion. Within its sacred confines, devotees encounter shrines dedicated to revered deities including Lakshmi, Shiva, Ganesh, Hanuman, and the Navagrahas, each imbued with spiritual significance and reverence. Notably, the presence of amorous sculptures adorning the temple's exterior serves as a symbolic shield against malevolent forces, enriching the spiritual ambiance. At the heart of the temple lies the sanctum sanctorum, where Lord Jagannath, accompanied by his divine siblings, Lord Balabhadra, and Devi Subhadra, resides in eternal grace and splendor. As a cherished landmark in Hyderabad's cultural landscape, the Shri Jagannath Temple beckons seekers of spiritual solace and architectural magnificence alike, offering a serene sanctuary for reflection, devotion, and transcendence.

It's very crowded on weekends, so it's better if you can manage to go on a weekday. We went there at 8:00pm, Aarti took place at 8:30pm. A very beautiful temple, walls depict various avatars of Sri Hari 🙏. You can also enjoy a nice tea at Cafe Niloufer Lounge which is very near(250 meters approx.) from the temple. Peace 🕊️

A modern temple complex dedicated to Lord Jagannath with stunning architecture. It is about 30 minutes away from the High-tech City and I highly recommend a visit to this place if you are planning to trip to this part of India. A true architectural masterpiece indeed and very peaceful.

Pleasent and Devine Parking will be difficult on weekends Plan your things and come as the traffic will be heavy and inside the temple it will take approximately 1-2 hours time for sure, And maintenance is also can be taken care of well ( cleaning). There will be no drinking water provision Only option is to buy the water bottle or you can carry your own. Only you can see the God for 10-15 seconds as they will keep on telling you that move. move.. move.....

Shree Jagannath Temple is a must-visit for anyone seeking spiritual or architectural wonder. This stunning temple in Hyderabad boasts impeccable cleanliness, breathtaking architecture, and intricate carvings that are a sight to behold. The temple offers ample parking space for both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, ensuring a hassle-free visit. Additionally, flowers, incense sticks, and prasadam are readily available for purchase both inside and outside the temple premises. For a small fee of Rs. 5 per pair, you can avail of the shoe storage facility outside the temple. The temple is open for darshan during the mornings (6 AM to 12 PM) and evenings (5 PM to 9 PM). While photography and videography are officially restricted, some visitors were allowed to capture pictures during my last visit. Visit Shree Jagannath Temple for a peaceful and spiritual experience amidst stunning architecture.

It was such a pleasure to visit Shree Jagannath Temple in Hyderabad. I had always wanted to see it for myself because of all the glowing reviews. The building is absolutely divine and was larger than I expected upon entering. The temple itself is a beautiful representation of Indian culture and heritage. Really blessed to be able to experience something like this. The kind devotees who greeted me my family were very welcoming and it was truly a pleasure to read about their faith. I am definitely going there again in the near future! I would suggest taking the Temple Tour. It is a great experience and you will get to see the inner movement of the temple from different locations. You will feel blessed (like me) for sure.

The temple's rich history and cultural significance, coupled with the vibrant rituals and festivals, make it a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a profound religious experience. Beautiful temple to do darshan of Lord Jagannath and other deities. It’s get busy during evening Aarti but it’s always blissful to sit on the stairs after completing darshan. You can look at all the religious paintings on the wall, they tell beautiful stories from the scriptures. If you leave gaja, don’t miss the prashad here. Parking has moved to the side street between the temple and the police headquarters building

Sri Chilkur Balaji Temple

Mentioned on
Hindu temple
Sights & Landmarks
Sacred & Religious Sites
Sri Chilkur Balaji Temple, also known as the 'Visa' Balaji Temple, is a revered Hindu temple located on the banks of Osman Sagar Lake. This ancient temple, dating back to the 14th century, attracts a large number of devotees who believe that visiting it will expedite their visa application process. What sets this temple apart is its refusal to accept money and its lack of special privileges for the wealthy.
Best time to visit 7am for less crowd and not much Que. Only outside temple 1 and 11 rounds allowed. 1 -11 and 11 - 108 as some renovation inaide temple is done and also due to covid restrictions to avoid crowd inside temple. Sufficient car parking inside temple area as well as outside some 200mts away.
Karthik Narasimman — Google review
Temple located near ORR Hyderabad. Also called as Visa temple. Getting there will take 1hour from city. Parking fee is 20rs. During weekends, its heavily crowded. It is better to go in weekdays ~4pm reopening time than weekends. For wish, it is said to do pradakshinam (walk around) for 11 rounds. After wish is attained, devotees walk for 108 rounds.
Gautham Suk — Google review
A nice place to get out of the city atmosphere. Weekday rush is quite low. Ample of parking space for cars. Shop keepers help you in parking vehicle. Later, we end up buying coconuts/flowers with them. Post covid, there is no pradakshina concept inside the premises. So, I’m not sure how the visa god takes 11/108 pradakshinas now! What we heard was, we need to it around the temple for a big pradakshina. That would be almost 4 old pradakshinas for one. As TTD didn’t takeover, there is no concept of hundi but a person collects money for temple betterment. Manjira water supply to city starts from here. That’s a scenic view to look out for!
Sunil Sreenivas G — Google review
Surely one of the famous Balaji temple 🙏 People believe that who ever visits the temple & offer 11 pradakshanalu will get their visa approved easily by god's grace After their visa approval they have to visit the temple again & offer 108 pradakshanalu After COVID the temple authority made a rule that u can do 1 pradakshina outside the temple which is equal to 11 pradakshanalu inside the temple & 11 pradakshanalu which is equal to 108 pradakshanalu inside the temple So your choice whether to do inside or outside the temple & in weekends pradakshanalu is not allowed inside the temple keeping in mind the rush of devotees on that days In weekdays u can do pradakshanalu upto 6.30 pm ,if some left no worries, remaining can be done outside 😊 U can see lots of students doing it Outside the temple u can get seasonalfresh fruits & there are lots of shops too There are small hotels so no worries abt food But better to reach as early as possible to avoid rush 🙂

The beauty of the temple is its simple even after getting so many devotee. Weekday Mornings are best time to visit. As you can avoid crowd. Amazed to know the this temple is also called visa temple. No wonder there were 100s of young doing pradakshana in the morning hours. Coconut should be offered outside.

Divine experience for sure. Try to reach by your own vehicle or pre-booked vehicle from Hyderabad . Reach early morning or early evening by 4.00pm where crowd will be less. Ample parking is available and on weekdays. You can do Parikrama from inside the temple itself on weekends you need to do outside the temple. Limited buses are available from Hyderabad.

We were here on Sunday and the crowd was less as we reached here by 8.30 AM. Try to come as early as possible as the temple gets open by 6 AM in the morning. Parikrama is allowed inside the temple only from Monday to Thursday and on Friday, sat and Sunday you have to do parikrama outside. It becomes very hot as time passes by and it will be tough to do the parikrama. Come early if you want to do the parikrama on weekends. There are a lot of shops around the temple from where you can eat and you can also do window shopping.

Chilkur Balaji is a sacred site where Shri Lord Venkatesh, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu, is believed to manifest. It is an ancient belief that those who sincerely remember Lord Balaji and offer heartfelt prayers have their wishes fulfilled by Him. The temple dedicated to Balaji is located approximately 50 kilometers away from Hyderabad and can be reached by state bus services. Devotees have the privilege of witnessing the darshan (divine appearance) of Balaji through the main entrance, and upon the fulfillment of their desires, they perform circumambulation around the temple premises. I have also attached a video along with my post, which you might have noticed that only a few have observed, showcasing the beauty of the temple and the tranquility it offers. Adjacent to the temple, there is a pond where devotees partake in the ritualistic act of ablution. Visiting this site provides a serene experience, akin to stepping into the realm of Balaji's domain. Parking -⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Govinda Govinda … still it is resounding in my ears . My daughters all felt so good . The best Birthday ever .

The temple itself is nice, but as soon as you enter, a few people aggressively push you to buy coconuts and Pooja items. However, the prices are quite high. Once inside, the atmosphere is pleasant. Additionally, many people visit the temple seeking visa approvals, placing their trust in the god. This adds to the atmosphere of faith within the temple.

Blessed to visit the Chilkur Balaji temple which is also known as visa Balaji. The temple and surrounding place is very developed now as compared to my last visit in 2020. Everything is good except the commercial shopkeeper and parking space management, they just try to loot everyone. Some officials or govt should look at this issue.

Nestled 2,000 feet above Hyderabad on 32 acres of land, Taj Falaknuma Palace is a grand hotel exuding royal elegance. Once the residence of the Nizam of Hyderabad, this opulent palace is now leased to the Taj Group. With its Italian-inspired architecture, Venetian chandeliers, and marble staircases, it offers a glimpse into the regal past.
This place really exceeded my expectations, you really are treated like royalty. From the carriage ride up until the moment we walked into our car, we were treated with the utmost respect and courteousness. The deserts here were delicious, the rooms were clean and spacious. But the real gem of this place was the history and all the entertainment options all day. The historian was wonderful touch as well, giving a true perspective, the hotel staff were all wonderful, ready to be of help at any given moment as well. I would 100% recommended this place to anyone, a wonderful experience!

However, some visitors may find the prices quite steep, but for those seeking a royal retreat, it's worth every penny.

We stayed at the palace for 2 days while visiting family (garden room 118). This was an absolutely amazing experience! It's a palace, so I don't think I need to spend a lot of time describing the grounds or the rooms (suffice to say everything is spectacularly beyond expectations, and there are plenty of pictures of everything at the grounds, so I thought I'd share some of the peacocks and the pool). What I wanted to recognize here is that the diamond of this sprawling palace is its incredible service and staff. The service at Falaknuma is impeccable, and the staff defines what exemplary attention to detail is. I have never had a better hotel stay, and I don't think I will again until I return.

Visited this place with family for lunch . Food was amazing , service was decent . Enjoyed every bite of the 4 course meal . The property tour was a bit disappointing, we thought we would be taken around the entire property , but it was the tour to the then dining hall and the ball room and that’s it . Expected to get baggi ride , it was not included . Price per pack is high when the tour is not well organised .( my family friends had been there just few days ahead of us & they got to see the other rooms in the property & they hit a baggi ride too ) package costing the same though .

I booked dinner for 2 at Adaa, which came to a little over Rs. 9000/- per person. The dinner included a tour of the palace as well. It was a disappointing experience. The tour guide was acting like a robot with no emotion and was just regurgitating words she must have been taught. On top of that, her English was not that good, and she spoke in such a low volume that half the people present could not hear her. After the tour, we were asked to go for dinner. When we arrived, there was no reception. We had to ask and figure out where to go. The table setting at Adaa was mediocre and plain. The wait staff was not well trained, the food selection was ok, but had good taste. I asked for a finger bowl, and the waiter just brought one with cold water and left - did not have the courtesy to wait till I was done and didn't bring a napkin either. Overall, the experience was mediocre and disappointing, and I will not repeat. Go there if you just want bragging rights that you had dinner at Falaknuma Palace.

By far its worth seeing experience.. 1 oddity we find approach road, front parking place is very non-std the way its like town side road. -1 suggestion: Better to put colorful plants enroute to palace/Hotel.. Interior roads also need some face lift

Birla Mandir is a stunning Hindu temple located in Hyderabad, India. Situated on a 13-acre land atop a 280-foot hill called Naubat Pahad, it is a popular religious site for Hindus and travelers alike. Inaugurated by Swami Ranganathananda of the Ramakrishna Mission, this modern marble temple boasts intricate carvings and shrines. The serene atmosphere and scenic views make it a must-visit destination.
My most favourite place in the whole city. Extremely peaceful and breathtaking. They don’t allow the phones at all and actually that’s nice because you get to mindfully enjoy the whole scenery out there, you can see the Beautiful Buddha statue and the water flowing in Tank Band, heavy and busy city traffic, beautiful white marble architecture all around you, very serene deities and calm atmosphere.

The most beautiful and well maintained and most cleanest temple. It is on the top of the hill. Need to use approx 200 stairs. But steps are not so big. Convenient for old age people also. There is lift also. Cameras not allowed inside. View from temple are amazing especially in rainy season.

Birla Mandir in Hyderabad is a magnificent temple that stands as a testament to architectural grandeur and spiritual serenity. The temple, also known as Birla Temple, is dedicated to Lord Venkateswara and is perched atop a hillock, providing a breathtaking panoramic view of the city. The temple's white marble architecture is striking, with intricate carvings and ornate designs that showcase the craftsmanship of the artisans. The serene ambiance within the temple complex offers a peaceful retreat from the bustling city below. One can feel a sense of tranquility while exploring the temple premises and admiring the detailed sculptures depicting various mythological stories. The blend of traditional South Indian temple architecture with modern aesthetics adds to the temple's uniqueness. Visitors often praise the well-maintained surroundings and the cleanliness of the temple. The lush gardens and fountains enhance the overall beauty of the site, providing a serene environment for both worshipers and tourists. Whether you are seeking spiritual solace or simply appreciating architectural marvels, Birla Mandir in Hyderabad is a must-visit. It not only offers a religious experience but also stands as a symbol of cultural richness and architectural brilliance.

Unfortunately, you can't make the pictures inside, and they ask you to leave your shoes and cameras/phones near the entrance. Overall the place is beautiful, with white stone and carvings. On the upper level, there is an observation place with a scenery of Hyderabad

Must visit place in Hydrabad. Whole temple is made up of white marble. Scenic view is quite good you can see whole Hydrabad city from here. Best thing I like about place that phones are not allowed. There is a library inside the temple if you want a quite place then this place is for you.

One of the best temple in Hyderabad, it is lord balaji temple, It is on top of hill, so you need to take approximately 200stairs, But steps are not so big so it’s convenient for old age people, There is a lift. And Camera's and phones are not allowed inside the temple you should keep in lockers or in your vehicles. Temple clean and well maintained, the view from the temple so beautiful, vehicle parking also available, definitely come and visit once.

I loved overall vibe of this mandir. They take away your phones so that you visit this mandir in peace and hustle free. There is a penny free phone and shoe store where you can keep your phones and shoes. You can buy coconut as god’s offering. The best part is views from the top. Please avoid visiting the temple in afternoon. Tiles are pretty hot

This place is one of the best in Hyderabad, located in the height with a mesmerizing view of the lake, secretariat and city. You can also enjoy the sunset view of the cool Breeze during Jan - March. Hussain Sagar Lake in walking distance. The place was a bit crowded during the weekend but it's worth going.

The best place to visit in Hyderabad if you want to visit Lord Sri Venkateswara and his majestic abode atop a hill. It's made of pristine white marble and intricate beauty lies everywhere the eyes go. From gorgeous meadow like hills covered in bougainvilleas and the Idol the outide and inside in black which is supreme, majestic and beautiful to gaze at. The patio behind and outside the temple has wide space where you can sit and meditate. No phones allowed inside the premise. And a panoramic view of Hyderabad is an extra highlight. Must visit for religious devotees of Lord Krishna 🙏🏻

Beautiful Baaji Temple on a small hill adjacent to Hussain Sagar & behind New Hyderabad Secretariat. Idols in the temple are very Devine. There is a lift available for Senior Citizens to reach temple top instead of walking through stairs. At night we can view the chain of lights of the Necklace Roads around Hussain Sagar Lake. As camera not allowed we couldn't take photos of it from temple top.

Visited the beautiful Mandir in Hyderabad and was thoroughly impressed with the serene atmosphere and meticulous maintenance. Situated in the middle of the city, the Mandir is a peaceful haven that radiates cleanliness and hygiene, creating an aura of Shanti, peace, and Sukoon. The highlight of the visit was the requirement to submit mobile phones and electronic valuables before entering the temple premises. This unique practice allowed me to fully immerse myself in the spiritual experience without any distractions. The management's efficiency in handling this process was commendable, contributing to a truly tranquil environment. Additionally, the Mandir offers breathtaking scenic views that add to the overall charm of the place. If you're seeking a serene escape in the heart of the city, this Mandir is a must-visit. The combination of cleanliness, tranquility, and well-managed facilities make it a standout destination for spiritual seekers.

The temple is on a hill and doesn't allow taking photos inside. It has lots of stairs, which might be tough for older folks. But it's totally worth it because Lord Balaji is there. Plus, you get an awesome view of the city from the top, which is really cool. Overall, it's a great experience!

Ramoji Film City

Water & Amusement Parks
Ramoji Film City is a must-visit destination, known as the world's largest film studio. It offers tours, live shows, and an on-site theme park and adventure zone. The iconic tourist attraction provides a behind-the-scenes look at Tollywood and Bollywood movies. With permanent sets like temples and courts, an amusement park, restaurants, and souvenir shops spread over 2000 acres, it guarantees a full day of entertainment for visitors of all ages.
Awesome experience! A half day fun trip. The place is easy to locate on the ORR. The studio tour is main attraction having Baahubali set and all. The other shows were also fun and entertaining. Has many eateries and lots of seating. The buses also take you around from place to place, so medium amount of walking. The crowd management is excellent and it's overall a fun trip.
Samhita Argula — Google review
Worth a visit if you are on a trip to Hyderabad - it is around 1 1/2 hours drive from City Centre. Gives an idea as to how films are made and sets are constructed. Need to either reach by around 9 am or stay there in one of the hotels inside the previous evening as you need a full day to see everything. Even a full day is a bit rushed. Best to pick up tickets ('Studio Tour' is good enough) online, go to the centre point (Eureka), attend the opening ceremony at 9.45 am, proceed to Studio Tour/Eco Tour (must do), have lunch, then go for the shows. Don't miss the Wild West Stunt Show! Lights, Camera, Action is interesting too. Rest of the shows are average, especially for someone who has been to other studios/sets elsewhere. Food within RFC is average or even below average. RFC can make the experience better by putting up their detailed e-brochure, program and map on their website. Their email IDs and contact numbers on the website are unresponsive and this is an issue they should address. They should also plant more trees! Overall, it is a nice experience while on a Hyderabad trip but considering the resources, the management can do so much more to make it a 'must see before I die' experience.

Very nice and well maintained. The support staff is very helpful. Over all good experience. Food is little big costly. The free activities when we reached most on it has not started. Was not worth going there. Garden and bonsai collection is very good. Opening and closing ceremony is very good.

Beautiful, gigantic but extremely overpriced and overhyped. Pros: A real city, you can get lost Very beautiful and great for movie and nature lovers Lots of greens and nice movie sets which can make you wonder Cons: Extremely overpriced Kids can hardly enjoy Toddlers will have to pay for the ticket although there is nothing for them Some of the rides that kids and toddlers can enjoy will cost you extra, not included in the ticket Bus tour route is circular, meaning A - > B - > C - > D - > A, so you can't visit, say point A from from point C. You will get bored after a point as seeing only movie sets for the whole day is actually not that interesting as it sounds P.S.: Those who have seen Universal Studios and think this one also as the same, please note, that both are very different.

Despite being THE biggest and the largest film city in the world, it is maintained very well. The tour buses inside the film city are not only well maintained, neat and clean but also have very well trained, jovial and friendly guides.

Full day of excitement and fun. Best place to enjoy with family and kids. Baahubali set was the main attraction. Best time to visit this place is during winter as you need to walk a lot and hence in summer it will be very tiring. Lot of restaurants and snacking bar available at almost all locations. Movie magic is another attraction where you enjoy movie making experience. Overall a great time well spent

Awesome place to hangout with friends or family. I visited in carnival season. Amazing sets. So beautiful. Full day trip with all sets and adventure park . Zip line, Arrow shooting, rain dancing, and many more games. You can book online and definitely skip the hectic queue.they are having their own shiny red buses inside to travel from one set to other. Food and water available inside. Very clean washrooms .kids have their own playing area with some rides and a great entertainment show with jinn , wonderful staff will show beautiful play to your child and will make them laugh. Last, you can enjoy many rides in their amusement area and enjoy snacks over there.

Fantastic experience. Car parking is near to ticket counter. Smooth entry and no waiting for bus. It takes about 15 minutes to actual Film City from ticket counter. Thereafter everything is arranged and organised so well that it becomes a day to remember. The volunteers are polite and helpful guiding the tourists all day long. Besides many film sets, there are plenty of parks and they are maintained impeccably. The cleanliness all around is outstanding and kudos to all who maintain it. The shows are all good and try not to miss them. Small food kiosks are available at every site and reasonably priced. Washrooms are very very clean. Moreover, drinking water is available at every place and one need not carry water bottles. The free rides offered in park are awesome. Moving around in customized red buses is special. Overall, an enjoyable day. Thanks to management.

I'd need to write a lengthy essay to fully describe everything. All I can say is that it's fantastic, incredible, and totally worth the 1593 rupees. You'll visit each spot one by one, starting with the opening ceremony, studio tour, European cities, Japanese garden, eco-tour, butterfly garden, and much more. Check out my photos for a better idea.

Top class! I was surprised that we have places like this in India. Very well organized right from the time you enter the parking. All the shows were superb. If you don't want to miss anything, reach there early - it takes one full day. Towards the end there is butterfly park and collection of beautiful birds - they even have Ostriches. Cafeterias are clean and food is okay. When you reach, don't forget to take the bus tour first, that way you will know how much you are actually going to see and you can plan your time spent at each attraction properly. A must visit place. The ticket rates are extremely reasonable. In fact, towards the end, I heard so many people say the tickets are priced so low considering what they have on offer. Totally worth it!!!

A full on entertainment. Must place to visit for all age groups. The longer you stay the better it is. Tough to cover in one day. There are movie sets, parks, gardens, actions, dance sequences, horror house, food joints and full of adventure. Area wise it’s very big but there are buses from the pick up point which takes you inside.

It’s a beautiful experience. One should walk a lot. There will be many buses to hop on and hop off from one destination to another. It’s really a must watch city where almost every film sets have been set up and different parks have also been set up. It’s a very different experience people can experience. There are few hotels also where booking can be done for stay and see Ramoji film city. There are huge options to explore food items as well
Preethi Ashok — Google review
It is a very good place for people who have seen the movies and love to explore the sets. Overall it is not worth the ticket price. All the items here are overpriced. The items in the adventure park are also way too costly. And the complementary ones are of no use. The food is good. The bus system is also a bit wierd. The buses only leave when there is a significant amount of crowd in the bus. But otherwise it was a good experience.
Dhruv Abhyankar — Google review
Must visit while in Hyderabad. Located around 60 kms from main Hyderabad city. Spread over 1600 acres. They have buses from the parking area to the film city and back. Multiple buses are in service. Full day tickets, morning or evening session tickets are available. Very well organized and staff are always helpful and advice where to go after every show. The usual waiting time is 15 to 20 minutes for the shows. Multiple food stalls are available everywhere in the film city. Food is costlier compared to hotels but still cheaper than malls. Buses are available from point to point and are always available. Need at least a full day to cover all the places. The important thing is people will start getting tired by 4 pm since we need to walk a bit within the studios even though buses are there.

If you are going to Hyderabad and not visiting "Ramoji Film City" then you should think 2Wice. So being an Indian we all have lots of influence of Indian Cinema Directly or indirectly on our life's through music, comedy, films, stories or any other way. So Ramjoji gives us the insight what goings on the other sides of the screen and how they shows us larger then life characters, scenes, actions. Its worth the price for sure. You need a whole day to explore and you should start early with the opening ceremony and you should stay till closing ceremony. Staff puts lots of efforts for sure to make sure we are having fun in a cinematic style. Few things which they lack or its not worth is the food they sell inside. Had very bad experience with this. Being so pricy they don't deliver the kind so service you expect and even the food quality is not that great. Specially buffets are not watched for the hygiene or the cleanliness. So my 4 star are for the food outlets they have inside. Other than food it was an wonderful experience for sure. Thank You. 🙏🏽

It's a must visit for everyone to see the world's largest film studio. Management is doing a good job, they keep providing the helpful information to see and help all the way from beginning to end. Drinking water and toilet facilities available at every place whereever you are going to need. It's once in a lifetime experience. There are lots of things to see and experience in one day , difficult to see cover everything in one day, still you can manage to see all if you will hurry. Food is expensive inside though , they should keep it reasonable, lots of people are coming here everyday .

Hyderabadi restaurant
Hotel Shadab, nestled in the bustling streets of Charminar's Ghansi Bazaar, may not catch your eye from the outside, but it's a hidden gem for authentic Hyderabadi biryani and Mughlai cuisine. The restaurant opens early and closes late, making it convenient for visitors to savor its delectable offerings.
Not a fancy hotel but in 250 u can have a full biryani and still will not be able to finish it. It's steamy hot and full of freshness of spices and a big piece of chicken. The salan and raita are also on par with the taste. The biryani was well decorated with fried onion. Highly recommended. Cons- they don't accept card or upi payments.. plz carry cash while gng thr.

Great old city experience. I've had sadab a few time and on better days such as during ramadan time, I've had better experiences. This was the first time I had a regular dine in experience. Food was good obviously. Therefore it's such a highly acclaimed place. But there were many misses and a few hits therefore a 3 is a fair rating for this experience

Good place for Lunch & dinner with family but has extremely tight seating due to heavy flow of people. Definitely expect atleast 30 minutes of waiting time as there is always crowd here. Mutton Biryani is very tasty here and tandoori chicken is also quite good. Prices are reasonable too. Will visit here only if I have infinite time for a meal and patience to wait. Also difficult to find parking for a 2 wheeler or a 4 wheeler.

Went on a weekend evening for dinner. If you are fond of Dum Biryani then this is the place to try. Tried Mutton Biryani which was good. Then tried tandoori roti with paneer butter masala which was okay. Parking is a bit of an issue on the weekend. Service was good considering the crowd.Good place for non veg items.

This place serves one of the best biriyani. But i feel the taste of biriyani was slight off that day. Chicken was tender but that was bland and i couldn't feel that marination and aroma. I will highly suggest to try chicken65 and roomali roti. You have to be very specific while picking kebabs from the menu. Service can ve improved more and they should maintain more hygenic table cloth every time. Parking may be an issue so park properly.

My quick review of Hotel Shadab: Based on my personal experience, upon entering the hotel, the overwhelming crowd made me want to leave immediately. The service struggled to cope with the large number of patrons, resulting in chaos. The hygiene standards were questionable, with tablecloths covered in bones and spilled soup left unchanged. Witnessing a waiter serving leftover salad to another table was concerning, making me skeptical about the kitchen's practices. Regarding the food, the Muslim dishes like keema nan, chicken 65, dalcha and tandoori chicken were delicious, but the biryani was disappointing. Despite its pleasant aroma, the rice was undercooked, and the dish failed to live up to the hype. I suggest trying RTC X Road Bawarchi or any Pista House biryani for a better dining experience. Overall, while Shadab offers tasty options, its crowded and unhygienic environment, coupled with inconsistent quality, leaves much to be desired.

Best mutton biryani from a local restaurant. The flavors of the spices were perfectly balanced, with each ingredient complementing the others. The mutton was cooked to perfection, and it was juicy and tender, with a melt-in-the-mouth texture. Overall, it was a heavenly taste experience. Note : ignore the crowd.

One of the iconic restaurant in Hyderabad. Love the food, love the biryani. I first visited in 2015 and even after 8 years the biryani is top notch. The place mostly remains crowded, so might have to wait a while to find a table. The restaurant staff are quite friendly too, as they make first cum first serve entry for table bookings.

I had lunch at Shadaab. Despite the long waiting line, we were fortunate to wait only for 15 minutes. The standout dish to try is the Mutton Marg, which is incredibly delicious. Additionally, the Shadaab Special Mutton Biryani was truly delightful, and the Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani easily earns a 5/5 rating. The atmosphere and the staff were both commendable.

"I've visited there twice. On my first visit, I tried their Shadab Special Mutton Biryani, priced around 500 rupees. After just one bite, I realized it didn't live up to the hype. Additionally, getting a seat took quite a while, and paying the bill required locating the server who served us.During my second visit, which coincided with Ramadan, we ordered both Mutton Biryani and Chicken Biryani with double masala. The Chicken Biryani didn't impress, and while the Mutton Biryani was marginally better, it still didn't justify the hype. It seems their sales rely more on hype than on taste these days."

Hotel Shadab in Hyderabad is a popular restaurant known for its authentic Hyderabadi cuisine, especially biryani. It's located near Charminar and has been a favorite among locals and visitors for its delicious dishes. We came all the way from Kerala and fought the heat to make sure we had the best Biriyani in Hyderabad, that too during the Ramadan month. Our expectations were high which this restaurant did not meet. It's chaos inside and the mutton biriyani came with a sour taste to it and lacked spices. Common, this can't be one of the famous Hyderbadi Biriyani. I regret not having gone to Nayaab for lunch where we had our beautiful breakfast.

If you haven't been to Shadaab (madina circle, charminar) - then you haven't ever tried authentic Hyderabadi biryani and all the other famous local cuisines - a 100+ year old restaurant. Only sideback is the long wait time in queue to get a table, thats also coz how famous this hotel is and the rush for a try any time throughout the day (into late nite)

I recently had the displeasure of dining at Shadab Hotel, a restaurant that is known for its biryani. I was very disappointed with my experience, and I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The first thing I noticed when I walked into the restaurant was the uncleanliness. The floors were sticky, the tables were dirty, and the chairs were stained. I was also put off by the strong smell of grease in the air. I ordered the biryani, which is the restaurant's specialty. The biryani was served in a clay pot, and it looked very appealing. However, when I tasted it, I was very disappointed. The rice was overcooked and mushy, and the meat was dry and tough. The biryani also lacked flavor, and it was very bland. In addition to the disappointing food, the service at Shadab Hotel was also very poor. The wait staff was inattentive and slow. I had to wait a long time for my food to arrive, and I had to ask several times for refills on my drinks. Overall, I had a very disappointing experience at Shadab Hotel. The food was bland and poorly prepared, the service was poor, and the restaurant was unclean. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Here are some specific things that I disliked about my experience at Shadab Hotel: * The rice in the biryani was overcooked and mushy. * The meat in the biryani was dry and tough. * The biryani lacked flavor and was very bland. * The wait staff was inattentive and slow. * The restaurant was unclean. I would not recommend Shadab Hotel to anyone. There are many other restaurants in the area that serve better food and provide better service.

Hyderabadi restaurant
Hotel Nayaab, located near Charminar in Hyderabad, is a historic Irani cafe known for its early morning breakfast offerings. Since 1986, it has been satisfying the taste buds of locals and visitors with authentic Indian dishes such as biryani, haleem, nahari, and Hyderabadi breakfast specialties like Khichdi-Khatta-Keema. The menu also includes modern additions alongside traditional kebabs and biryanis.
Must visit restaurant near charminar. Owner is so polite and helps you with the order. Amazing taste, good food. Reasonable price.

The food is too good. We tried mutton malai and beja fry with butter nun .The food is tasty but the price is overrated. The waiters scam the high prices if we dont check it . They scam while your are billing ,check your card bill before leaving the place . Because we also almost scammed but we have checked .The bill was 680/- but they have swiped 6800/- . So please check before leaving the place .

Probably the best Paya Nahari ever!! Bheja fry and naan! The malai on top of Paya seeps into the sheermal when you dip into it. The bone just falls off the meat and don’t need to bash the bone for the marrow inside. It just drops like Makhan Have fun n relish it

Awesome food. Authentic Hyderabadi breakfast. Opens as early as 6am. Try to go into the AC section at the back of the hotel for a great dining experience. Portion sizes are just right so that you can have multiple dishes. Ask for parking guide.

Tried nayab famous spl malai mutton paya. Along with tandoori roti and bheja fry. Tastes good but the bheja fry tasted like lightly uncooked but not bad. Parking is a bit problem here. Can't stop on road or there is no proper dedicated parking.

Best place to taste Hyderabadi cuisine enjoyed food and flavours do visit this place during ramzan season you can feel the nerve of old city. Family section was available but too small to accomodate large crowd. Many celebrities do visit this place to enjoy food

Located in the old city . Hotel Nayaab should be on every foodies list. The shop opens at 5 am and we reached by 520 and had to wait for 20 mins to get a place to sit The popularity is a testament to the quality of the food We ordered Paya and mutton dishes. Every dish is amazing Everything is prepared fresh and the place gets more crowded later on

Hotel Nayaab is one of the best places to visit for Non Vegetarian lovers especially when it comes to Biryani and Paya. Food : Malai Paya with Butter Naan, Nihari Special Mutton Biryani, Double ka Meetha, Puding and Katha Firni The location of hotel is quite complex but one can easily reach with help of Google map. It's quitely situated in one of the most busiest roads in Old Hyderabad near Charminar. Food : 5/5 Ambience: 4/5 Service : 4/5 We were really happy to eat. It really blew our taste and took it to the next level. Recommended Dishes Must Try : Malai Paya, Nihari Special Mutton Biryani, Double ka Meetha and Katha Firni

Early morning visit at 7:00 am. The prices are on a higher side. For five members bill went upto Rs. 2200/- The cost of the items and the quantity served are inversely proportional. It's a one time visit place to experience but not a better place for nonveg breakfast. Do not expect a restaurant type ambience. On first floor there is a family section which will look like another irani chai hotel which is for family section. Car parking will be an issue and bike parking is also difficult sometimes. Suggestion: For the amount spent here for breakfast one can easily purchase kilo mutton cook and eat peacefully with family.

The best place for non veg breakfast. Don’t expect too much it will be busy crowded and food is good 👍. Always be sure what you want to eat otherwise they’ll get whatever.

I went to Nayaab to try its famous Paya and I wasn't disappointed at all. In the wee hours of evening, the restaurant was quite busy and handing over bowls of piping hot paya to the customers who had from near and far to taste this special delicacy. It was spicy, aromatic and dropping with flavour. We polished it off with the baked bread. Another dish we happened to try here was the special Qubani ka meetha. The portion was rather huge but enough to share with another person. It was delicate, indulging and with the right amount of sweetness.

All the hype about this place is just hype. We went during the ramzan season for breakfast and they had limited items. Malai paya was not smooth in texture, it was grainy. It was double the price of regular paya just for a spoon of malai on top. Roti was rock hard, your teeth will pain by the time you finish eating one. Bheja fry was good though. Kheema and kichdi was bland and dry. Definitely not worth going that far for breakfast. Never going again.

Visited early morning Great authentic Hyderabad Food Must try these.. Keema & kichidi Keema & Roti Nahari paaya & Sheermal With all decent pricing. Tastes very Great,it's not spicy or heavy in the morning.

Best place for the morning non veg breakfast. You will get a lot of varities like bheja, Paya, malai paya, khichdi kheema, rumali roti , tandoori roti, pooru etc.. and the taste is also too good. We have faced a worst situation here as the server got the normal kheema worth rs130 and the bill was made for special kheema worth rs300. Always be aware while ordering the food and inform the server what you want, they will cheat if you ask them to get what's special at their place. Next Saturday we have been to same place to have Khichdi & Khatta also called as their special and Paya Shorba. Khicdi was not too good and Shorba was ok.

Ok, this place is worth all the hype (at least for me). Being a Hyderabadi I love non veg and what better place to have mutton for breakfast. Been visiting this place for years, and finally writing this review. Must visit place♥️

Good hearty breakfast, starts around 3am and goes on till about 10am. Paya nihari was amazing and so was gurda fry, bheja masala was ok, just get the bheja fry instead.

Didn't expect this from Hotel Nayaab especially after so many viral videos on insta and youtube recommending this place. I order double masala mutton biryani, nayab special chicken curry and bheja fry and butter naan.. mutton biryani taste and quantity not great when you spent 350/- nayab special chicken was aweful, chicken pieces aren't cooked properly. I ordered butter naan I got tandoor rotis .. worst experience no wonder the hotel was empty on a Sunday afternoon around 12:30 pm bcs of this taste and quality of Products.. I'm definetly not going to this place again and will never recommend to anyone . I wish I can give 0 rating.
Ranjith Kumar — Google review
This was not as great as we thought it to be. We ordered paya nihari with sheermal naan and dum ka mutton with tandoori roti. Paya nihari was average and dum ka mutton wasn't good. Based on our experience, we decided we didn't want to go to this place again. We went for dinner. We also asked for kababs and they said kababs were available in the morning. So if you are looking for kababs at Nayab, go there accordingly. Service was good, staff helped us pick the dishes.

I decided to kickstart my weekend by exploring Nayab near Charminar in Hyderabad, curious to experience their breakfast spread. The star of the show was undoubtedly the Mutton Paya—a flawless dish that left nothing to critique. The flavors were exquisite, and finding a flaw was nearly impossible. However, the accompanying Sheermal bread, meant for dipping into the Paya, fell short. Its texture was disappointingly tough, detracting from the overall experience. Thankfully, the Tandoori Roti served at Nayab was a highlight, offering a commendable taste when enjoyed fresh at the restaurant. Yet, it's worth noting that the quality slightly diminished when packed for takeout. The Malai Paya, unfortunately, didn't live up to expectations during my visit. I'd advise giving it a pass unless there have been improvements since then. On the brighter side, the Beja Fry held its own among the standout dishes with its excellent taste and preparation. A cup of Irani Chai was a delightful addition to the meal, boasting an excellent flavor profile. However, the Osmania Biscuits served alongside seemed to be of old stock, lacking the freshness that would have complemented the chai experience. Regrettably, I missed out on their Biryani, as it's only available after 12:30 pm—a reason to plan another visit to sample this highly anticipated dish. In essence, Nayab near Charminar offers a mixed bag of culinary experiences. While some dishes like the Mutton Paya and Beja Fry excel, others such as the Sheermal and Malai Paya might need a bit of improvement to match the standard set by their best offerings. If you're there for breakfast, aim for the classics and wait until the Biryani hour strikes to savor their renowned specialty.

Nayaab has really given me an experience to remember. Their mutton biryani was supple and gave an intense aroma. Every grain of rice has spice and flavour. You could feel the heat in the atmosphere. We even tried their malai paya and bheja fry. The bheja fry was as soft and supple as a pillow, it's a must try. Their Paya has great flavour but, the gravy of the malai paya was plain and basic. The staff was quick and helpful. There is a special air conditioned section for families to sit and dine in. Must visit at least once.

We visited this place at 5.30AM for breakfast and the dishes were Tasty and different from regular hyderbadi curries and rotis. Malayi paya , Bheja fry, Gurda fry, kichidi, dum ka kheema, Tandoori roti are must try dishes and also spice levels are (2/3). The Ambience is not so appealing but they have separate AC dining section for family.

Stopped by this place during a visit to the historic Charminar area during the month of Ramadan and ordered their Mutton Nihari with Sheermal and a side dish of Bheja Fry. For the uninitiated, Mutton Nihari is a stew of slow-cooked meat, mainly shanks, and is known for its spiciness, taste, texture, and gravy. Sheermal is a traditional flatbread, with the name coming from the Persian words 'sheer', meaning milk, and 'malidin', meaning to rub, so sheermal literally translates to "milk-rubbed". Sheermal is soft and fluffy, and slightly sweet. Bheja Fry is a Hyderabadi speciality, consisting of the brains of goat or sheep, scrambled with spices and then fried, and cooked in gravy. The restaurant is small and has limited tables. There is considerable rush during the month of Ramadan and the location on a busy street does not help either. It's chaos inside and out. That said, the sheermal-nihari combination was outstanding. I didn't like the bheja fry much - can't really put a finger on what was wrong with the dish though. Kindly note that the serving quantity is more like 2-3 table spoons worth. Washed everything down with a piping hot cup of Irani Chai and I was done.

Hotel Nayab in Hyderabad is the go to spot for a hearty breakfast. They have one of the best Irani Tea in Hyderabad.Their mutton paya with roti and mutton kheema paired with khichdi katta are exceptional. Having such a meaty breakfast at 4 am may seem odd but if you're a meat lover it's absolutely worth it!

Mutton malai paya which is famous in nayab was not so great (Maybe since I personally don't enjoy mutton much). Egg biryani was decent. Overall it's a once try I would say.

Best authentic Muslim dishes available in this place from 4 AM to 11 PM. 4 Am breakfast is very special and it's too crowded despite the huge seating area on two floors. Dishes are very authentic and you could feel the aroma of the fresh spices in your taste buds. Although there is a big menu for the regular people, i recommend a few as must try for the first-time goers. Of them beja fry, mutton keema with khichdi, Puri keema, malai paya and regular paya with special bread or rumali roti. Dum ka mutton with khichdi are must try dishes. This restaurant is very old and run by the same family for generations so the taste and quality is maintained consistently over the years. This place is one of the best bets for the tourists to have delicious food. Hyderabad is the city of biryanis which is famous worldwide but for even more authentic delicacies there are a few restaurants like this one and every one should dine hear atleast one in a lifetime. All in all i love food in this place and i take all my friends who visit Hyderabad to this restaurant. Place wise this is a bit untidy but what can you to a place with crowded for almost 20 hours a day. 😁

Famous Ice Cream, located in Moazzam Jahi market in Nampally, Hyderabad, has been a popular spot for over 80 years. Known for its hand-churned seasonal fruit ice creams made without colors or preservatives, this establishment caught the attention of locals when it first opened in 1951. The unique flavors crafted from local produce draw dessert lovers from all over the city to this unassuming yet beloved spot.
It's been my favourite ice cream spot since childhood. One of the ages old places in the city to have ice creams in all different flavours and fruits...This place is popular for its delicious and authentic ice creams as the name rightly says ''Famous Ice cream". Now u get a variety of kababs grills momos chats etc at the same square. Also the view is just cool to see on one side we have the clock tower, flag. It is located in the old city. The ambience is also very unique here, although located in a heavy traffic area, it is a peaceful place with the majestic and iconic dome shaped monument built years ago. Overall it's a very nice place to enjoy with your family and friends.

Budget friendly Dessert spot in Hyd with various flavours that we can opt here as there are many parlours available here and different commodities of pupils will be spotted here. I would like to thank the TS govt for reorganizing this place as a chilling spot with a vibe of London Streets. Better to improve the parking place and have a little more cleanliness in this area.

I think Ice cream 🍨 is the only one which will elect Unanimously in competition with others. If such support has an another level then it becomes "Fruit Ice cream" As the names suggests, Famous ice cream serves such elevated level of our most loved one.It is made from the natural Fruits without any artificial flavours. All of this experience comes at a competitive price. So if you ever go to Nampally or nearby area, I would suggest to visit and cast your vote 😉

From seasonal specialties like Mango and Chikoo to all-time favorites like Paan, there's something for every palate. The parlour also serves old-school Sunades and recently introduced Turkish Icecream. In addition to ice cream, they offer Momos, Pani Puri, Pav Bhaji, and Chaat items.

Every bite was just pure joy. I tried their dark devil triple sundae which had two scoops of chocolate with one scoop of vanilla. The sweetness was just the right amount. And the scoops had a little jelly-like texture, kind of similar to what you'd find at dolce gelato. If you're near Nampally or MJ Market, would definitely recommend going here for a nice dessert. Ideally, go in the evening.

Came here on a busy Ramadan evening around 10PM. Best thing now is that there is car parking available. Service was a bit slow as it was fairly crowded. Prices are very low compared to some major ice cream chains around. They do offer Chaat items as well. Forgot to click the picture of the menu. Taste was good. Quantity was sufficient. The staff were courteous and helpful. I'd suggest to stop here for an ice-cream treat whenever you're in the vicinity.

Situated in Mozamjahi market Hyderabad, this place is nice to chill out with your friends & family. Although I have heard a lot about this place as famous for ice creams, which I found totally overhyped. We tried many ice cream flavours especially.. their famous Sitaphal ice cream which was not so good. The prices are bit high for the quantity & quality. Don’t try their North Indian Chaat & snacks, not good at all. If you want to experience the ambiance, hustle bustle of old city Hyderabad, then visit this place, also instead you can try other juice centres & ice cream parlours nearby!! This place is definitely not worth the hype.

Forget about your healthy intentions and make a beeline for Govind Ki Bandi, a popular street stall in the Charminar neighborhood. You'll easily spot it as there will be an abundance of people gathered around, eagerly waiting to devour their delectable dosas and tawa idlys. If you're concerned about calories or butter, simply close your eyes while they prepare your order.
Wide range of dosa's and idlis are served here.. one cannot just control the taste bud after the first serve.

This place is kind of over hyped, not worth the hype, he just uses a ton of butter on every dosa and idly, the man squeezes the tomato on the dosa kind of not very pleasing to the eyes. The service is kind of pathetic because they ignore the first come first serve rule and just serve those people who are closer to them. You can give this place a miss.

Just like how the Ram ki Bandi is famous for its Dosas and the early morning rush, Govind Anna's Bandi is known for its speciality Idli. The most loved being their Tawa Masala Idli. I tried many things here but was indulged in the mushy soft Idlis so much so that I forgot to click them. :) The chutney too needs a special mention and compliments. So good!

Govind Ki Bandi is a popular breakfast spot near Charminar in Hyderabad. It is known for its delicious dosas, idlis, and vadas. The dosas are made with fresh batter and are served with a variety of chutneys and sambar. The idlis are soft and fluffy, and the vadas are crispy and delicious. It is always packed with customers. The service is quick and efficient, and the prices are reasonable.

Have heard so much about Govind ki Bandi so decided to visit this place when I was in Hyderabad. This place is just a few meters away from the Charminar. So I ordered their famous Govind dosa, it was good in taste and different from the ordinary where they put little Upma in it. The cost of one dosa was 80₹ which was very expensive to pay for a small dosa which wasn’t even 20cm of dia. So, the hype is not worth it. Still, you can just try to experience the hype.

Another awesome road side cuisine available in Hyderabad. You can try Idly, Dosa, Uttapam at an economical cost. The taste is just so so yum.😍😋❤️😍 I live in Delhi and big chain like Haldiram’s and Bikanervala are also failed in front of this. They serve so hopeless South Indian. They can also be called as Farzi South Indian restaurants. Govind Dosa is just ecstatic. Go early morning after a morning walk or after your late night shift and you will get foodgasm. They serve so delicious South Indian cuisine which you cannot resist. Butter Idly is my favourite.
Dr. Ayush Pandey {MBBS, MD, PGDCC, PGDS, AASC} — Google review
Sampling the delights of Govind, a humble street stand, was a genuine taste of South India during my travels. I savored the Panner Butter Govind Dosa and Butter Idly, both bursting with local flavors that left my taste buds delighted. It's a slice of authentic culinary heaven that embodies the essence of the region. However, be prepared for a touch of chaos during the ordering process, as the bustling street scene can make it a bit disorganized. Patience is key, as the waiting time might extend, but the reward is well worth it. Govind offers a genuine and delectable South Indian experience that's a must-try for any tourist exploring the local cuisine.

Had Idli and Butter dosa there, tbh taste is okay but it's overpriced now as it costed 100 rs just for small dosa. Plus it was not very hygienic. Simply not worth the hype, price. Not recommended!

In recent days many street vendors got famous due to YouTube videos and instagram and this is one of them. Its a street shop selling dosa and Idli, hygiene needs to be improve little bit, also price looks little above for the stuff they are selling but taste was good and also quality of ingredients used,no short of customer, making dosa and Idli continuously without stopping due to heavy foot fall. Can recommend to try once when in old city for an experience.
