The Pakistan Air Force Museum features both indoor and outdoor exhibits of vintage airplanes and helicopters. It also offers amusement rides for kids. The museum showcases fighter jets, radars, grounded aircrafts as well as PAF-related material to help build coordination between civilians and the air force. The environment is clean and refreshing making it an excellent family destination, but it can get crowded in the evenings especially on weekends.
The museum has always been my favourite part of visiting PAF museum. Everything is well maintained and clean. SOP's are being followed strictly. Two news rides have been added and the old rides are still in good condition. They are being kept under check and well maintained. PAF is a really nice option for you if you want to go out with your family to enjoy a nice sunny day!

Pakistan Air Force Museum, really a very nice place to enjoy your weekend with family. Lush green ground, huge space, very well managed, cleanliness is excellent. Different fighter jets/airplanes /helicopters have been displayed with information boards, some are real, some are models. Also different warfare, missiles, vehicles, weapon systems, and radar are also displayed. Museum also has a canteen from where you can get cold or hot drinks, mineral water and snacks are available. A fun land for the children with swings is also available. If you really want to enjoy this place then coming early is the best option. Overall its really good experience!

A great place to visit with family. Even though, the place was originally started to educate about Pakistan Air Force but later turned to a fun place with more rides installed in the park. The entry ticket is affordable and the parking was convenient but the food and safety standards need to improve. The souvenir/gift shop also lacked variety.

PAF museum is a place to build coordination between civilian and Pakistan Air Force. There is display for fighter jets, radars, grounded aircrafts, and PAF related stuff. It is an excellent place to visit with family, clean and refreshing environment. Got crowded in the evening after 4:00 pm especially on weekends. You have to pay parking fee for your vehicle (car/motorbike) and entry fee of 60rupees per adult. Children under 3 year are exempted from entry fee. Half fee for students. A must place to visit and also bring food with you or you can buy from here in the afternoon. Caution: some areas of this museum might be no go areas for public.

Dolmen Mall Clifton

Shopping
Dolmen Mall Clifton is a satisfactory shopping destination with competitive prices offered by some shops. Although there are standard operating procedures in place, they are only visible at the entrance. The mall offers a diverse range of stores such as Toni & Guy and KFC, as well as mobile selection options like airlink centre and Sony centre. While the environment inside is neat and appealing, the outdoor area is also pleasant to explore.
Huge mall with lots of security checks. Outstanding infrastructure build for the premium brands. Amazing atmosphere. One would love to be here but plan your stay accordingly as it requires 3 hours approx. To complete your visit. Huge underground car parking available for the visitors.
Waqas Gul — Google review
Pakistan's largest and first international standard shopping mall with the best food, retail and entertainment brands all available under one roof. A wonderful place to buy favorite things, accessories, gifts, and food of choice. Neat clean environment, attentive staff.
Noor Alam Shah — Google review
Great mall if you want to shop around with a amazing selection of brands on each floor. From western to traditional. Amazing food court and Carrefour on the first floor. It's pretty convenient to go there , shop around, grab some food and get out. It was pretty crowded now. But I think day times are much better.
Aqsa Kay — Google review
Can conveniently mention that it's the top ranked shopping mall in Karachi. Cannot recall their parking signals malfunctioning ever, if they're green you surely get the lot underneath it. Security is more than satisfactory, and staff is very well trained and adequately mannered while dealing with people. The experience level keeps increasing when you walk into the mall, elevators, escalators, travelators, are always seen functioning neatly, and high standards of cleanliness is maintained in every part of the mall. Often do we find the concourses beautifully embellished with vibrant colors and innovative designs in line with the season and promotions in place. The mall has got almost every popular brand inside that one may think of. So 5 star in short.
Muhammed Khurram Khan — Google review
It's a decent place. Some shops offer cheaper rates than normal convenient stores. SOPs are in place, but unfortunately, only at the entrance, in the rest of the store, you are on your own. The variety of stores within makes a huge list from Toni & Guy hair salon to eateries like KFC. You can also find good mobile selection at fair prices here (store dependant), airlink centre, and even a Sony centre. Unfortunately, I was unable to locate a Samsung centre or an apple store or Mi store, etc. The environment within is nice, clean, and pleasant. Outdoors are pretty good, too.
Saad Sultan — Google review
One of the best malls in Karachi. Fully air conditioned with ample parking space available. Most popular outlets can be found here. Also has a good court with decent food options. Hard to find seating on busy holidays.

Amidst chaos and neglect, they are offering everything from grocery, electronics, fashion, clothing, food etc. at one place and that too inside a well-planned, excellently managed and spacious building. They truly understand the pain points and solved almost all of them by providing truly amazing decor and cleanliness. You will find almost every brand, actually there are some which you probably won’t find anywhere else in the city. Multiple spaces for kids and clean washrooms with diaper changing stations is appreciable. They also have dedicated female parking and very good food offerings.
Atif Aziz — Google review
My only complaint is the lack of seating space for shoppers in this mall, there's no place to sit on the floors other than going into shops to find a place. Other than that: Mall Staff is courteous. Neat and clean space. Outlets here have items that aren't available elsewhere.

This is the best shopping mall of Karachi - a city of more than 20 million. We primarily went for having a late lunch on the day we had shifted our accommodation to the Defence Housing area from the "real defence area" of Malir Cantonment. The food court is good and almost all the major brands are represented.

The Mohatta Palace Museum is a historical building that houses a museum featuring collections of cultural artifacts and maps. The surrounding gardens are extensive and well-manicured, with an auditorium for hosting events and even a small zoo. It's an excellent place to learn about the cultural costumes of Sindh while admiring the inspiring architecture. Additionally, it's reasonably priced, making it accessible to school children on study tours.
Found great place for visiting and knowing the cultural costumes of Sindh, available for visitors. Also the constructional work is very inspiring. The palace has very vast park for visiting and sitting on park. Auditorium is also available for arranging the programs. Small zoo can also be visited. Overall I found it great. Everyone must visit the place. The administration is also offering low cost entry to school children for study tours.

Khoobsoorat Palace. Well managed. Clean and peaceful. They took my phone before letting me in the museum which I really liked because I was focus more on experiencing rather than capturing. Other than that I would say the management is so kind and helpful. It’s usually open throughout the week but closed on Mondays. And I heard that there are some events that this place sometimes hosts so that day will be closed for public visits. So make sure you check it on google maps or contact their given phone number and confirm before visiting. Highly recommended.

I really can't believe that the sindh government can keep a place like a Palace . Nice historical place, very neat n clean. Entry ticket is only Rs:30/= for adults, nothing for kids. The wash room was clean, too. They should display the history of the place on a proper space.

Its a wonderful place for a taste of a little history. The curators can surely work on getting a little more substance to their tour. For now, private exhibitions are on display but I would love to see a little grandeur the palace has the potential of. There are areas being preserved/restored/rebuilt. Im sure it will be one of the many iconic sights the city of Karachi has to offer.

Mohatta Palace takes you back to a royal time. We toured the palace and it was a great historical experience. Exhibits change every so often. Built in the early 1900s. Beautiful architecture. It was originally as a residence but now houses an art gallery and museum. Cameras are not allowed inside the palace only in the grounds. Entrance fees payable, yes a higher rate for foreigners. Rather small museum but highly professional arranged with proper airconditioning and the building itself is an artifact of the museum. There is a small gift shop inside as well. The site is very well maintained.

Mohatta Palace is a beautiful Indo-Saracenic mansion located in Clifton, Karachi. It was built in 1927 by Shivratan Mohatta, a Hindu Marwari businessman, as a summer home for his family. The palace is now a museum, and it houses a collection of art and artifacts from the Mughal and British periods. The palace is a stunning example of Indo-Saracenic architecture. The exterior is made of white marble and sandstone, and it is decorated with intricate carvings. The interior is just as impressive, with high ceilings, stained glass windows, and lavishly furnished rooms. It was purchased by the Sindh Government from the Federal Government and handed over to a Trust which renovated this place and manages it. In the museum you will find history of Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah from his sickness days to his death, Artifacts from Gandhar civilisation, Variety of gaj from 190 different regions like interior Sindh, Balochistan, and kohistan.

It was an absolute good day for us to see this majestic building of rich culture and heritage built in 1927 in the posh seaside locale of Clifton as the summer home of Shivratan Mohatta. The palace was built in the tradition of stone palaces of Rajasthan, using pink Jodhpur stone in combination with the local yellow stone from nearby Gizri. Mohatta could attract more people once recognized by government officials. Entry fees is reasonable 100 Rs. Washrooms are available free of cost. Security measures are fantastic and fool proof.

A very nice place with good food.. it has a very good view of sea from east wharf.. They could improve the approach as the road is not in good shape... Plus I would recommend weekends only dedicated for families.. Ideal time to visit is after asar prayers when the sun is going down in summers.. if administration can put some umbrellas in sitting places it would be a great service.. Because you can't eat or sit in the open from 4-6pm.. Valet parking is free but those guys expect some tip.. Didn't check the ferry service but it seemed expensive for a boat ride of just 10mins .. Nevertheless would love to go again.. specially have breakfast in the morning..

Decided to go for the breakfast buffet at Babujees. There was a lot of variety and everything tasted good, except for the chowmein. The weather was amazing. There was a light drizzle. It added to the whole experience. They had a free puppet show and train rides. There was also a jumping castle for kids but you have to pay for that. Since it was mostly empty, kids played and ran around for almost an hour. Overall a great experience.

A very nice place with good food.. it has a very good view of the sea from the east wharf.. They could improve the approach as the road is not in good shape... Plus I would recommend weekends only dedicated for families. Generally the space allocated for walking has been encroached upon, thus leaving little space for the general public. They have small kiosks all along the path which occupy one third of the walkway. Restaurant owners have employed people to bring in customers and they make a lot of commotion. This activity should be restricted so visitors can relax and move around leisurely in a peaceful atmosphere. Ideal time to visit is after asar prayers when the sun is going down in summers.. if administration can put some umbrellas in sitting places it would be a great service.. Because you can't eat or sit in the open from 4-6pm.. Valet parking is free but those guys expect some tips.. Didn't check the ferry service but it seemed expensive for a boat ride of just 10mins .. Nevertheless I would love to go again.. specially have breakfast in the morning..

Kolachi Restaurant is a recent addition to Karachi's dining scene, quickly gaining fame as a beachside eatery offering flavors of the Arabian coast. Led by Chef Noor, the kitchen serves Pakistani classics and European-style dishes alongside stunning seafood platters. Diners can savor dishes like the spicy barbecued Hunzai Kabab and the authentic-tasting Kolachi Karahi, complemented by a variety of grilled fish options.
This impressively constructed marvel overlooks the ocean and is honestly one of the largest outside restaurants I’ve ever seen. It is also highly popular and for good reason. The food is fresh, juicy and of the highest quality. Service is next to none, our waiter probably enquired 5 times about our experience and it was genuine concern. They take their food and service seriously and the result is well deserved. A beautiful experience all round, the ambience, the food and the company. 👏👏👏

Wonderful experience. Went to this place first time in life and enjoyed thoroughly. Atmosphere was great, food was good and hospitality was at exceptional level. We order two dishes which came with myonese which need improvement as it's hard on stomach. Lime drink was above the moon. It's worth to visit and enjoy the atmosphere plus hospitality Thanks Kolachi and team.

One of the most ethereal dining experiences I’ve had. We went after a rainy day for dinner, and had a view that overlooked a misty sea speckled with flocks of white birds. If the authentic, delicious food weren’t as mesmerising as the ambience, we probably would have forgotten we were there for dinner.

Had their Red Snapper, Pepper Steak, Brain Masala and Mutton Karahi. Everything was upto par, but I'd say tastewise their Mutton Karahi is not as good as Dua (Bilawal House), other than that the place is very welcoming with courteous staff and nice warm lights. I'd recommend it for formal outings, stags can go elsewhere, cause Kolachi is quite heavy on the pocket.

The restaurant is situated quite far from central Karachi but is well worth a visit. It is situated near Marina and is very pleasant in the evening. Decor and ambience is good and an excellent place both for family visit as well as business dinner. Food was excellent. Tried BBQ platter, paneer reshmi handi, mutton Peshawari karhai, chicken Peshawari karhai, lahori fish and kabuli pulao. Paneer reshmi handi was the best I had tasted. A must visit place !!!!!

Went to this restaurant for dinner on November 26, 2023 as group of 7. Place looks stunning and very picturesque located at seaside. This is huge restaurant which was very busy too. Unfortunately good things ends as soon the food arrives. We ordered many items and non was tasty. Most of the items were very salty and in small portions. Chicken Tikka was came in foil which make it soggy, also size of tikka was like for kids meal. They charge top price for every items. If food is good then we don’t mind hung price but it was terrible. After the meal they bring the phone to us to record the review. I didn’t give good review there as well. They quick bring two pieces of very small Malahi tikka ( just two pieces) for me to try as compensation.this was embarrassing that after spending $23,000 rupees this is what we got ( two pieces) we were not looking for any compensation anyway but felt embarrassed. Lightning was also strange as everything is red in color and you don’t even see true color of food you order. This restaurant is great to take pictures of your Social Media page not for eating here. Stay away there much better options are available.

Kolachi is an exquisite dining establishment with stunning ambiance. We indulged in a delightful array of dishes including hot and sour chicken soup, impeccably crispy fries, flavorful goat karhai, malai handi, and roghni naan. Ateef, our attentive server, ensured a wonderful experience by personally serving our meals. The manager's visit to inquire about our satisfaction highlighted the exceptional service. Though slightly expensive, the outstanding atmosphere and impeccable service make it truly worthwhile.

The restaurant promises a memorable dining experience and is known for its delicious kebabs and other cuisines. A place you can trust for family get together or corporate gathering. Desi items are great in taste and their serving is good as well. Price is reasonable with the service and environment they provide. The items I liked the most in their menu is mutton leg, mutton ribs, mutton chops, Beef kabab and mix vegetables. Mutton ribs are always cooked to perfection.

Bar.B.Q Tonight Restaurant Review: Food Quality: The restaurant stands out for its excellent food quality, with a special mention for the flavorful Mutton Karahi and the delectable Bar.B.Q items. The dishes reflect a commitment to high standards in taste and preparation. Service: The service at Bar.B.Q Tonight is commendable, characterized by promptness and attentiveness. Staff members demonstrate a good understanding of the menu and are willing to assist customers with recommendations. Atmosphere: The overall ambiance is pleasant, creating a welcoming dining environment. However, it is worth noting that the space can feel somewhat congested at times due to the high number of customers. This might affect the overall comfort and intimacy of the dining experience. Crowd Management: The popularity of the restaurant is evident from the bustling crowd. While it adds to the lively atmosphere, the congestion could be a drawback for those seeking a more relaxed or private dining setting. Consistency: Bar.B.Q Tonight maintains consistency in delivering good-quality food and service. This reliability contributes to its positive reputation among patrons. In summary, Bar.B.Q Tonight impresses with its delicious cuisine and efficient service, but the crowded atmosphere may impact the overall dining experience for those who prefer a quieter setting.

Bbq tonight is no longer that "safe" option. Tomato soup was an abomination - just ketchup and water. Disgusted by it. The rest of the food was bland, even the karahi and malai boti. The hummus with garlic nan (seriously) was too salty. The only saving grace was the strawberry orange juice.

Visited after around 2 years. It is still the best in taste and now bit economical too, compared to other big restaurants. Although the restaurant badly requires some work on ambience. especially when at weekends it becomes crowded.. you cannot have your meal in peace. It feels too noisy. The rest of all is fine and highly recommended place but in week days.

Overall, my experience at this place was quite positive. The rooftop atmosphere was particularly impressive, emanating a vibrant and enjoyable vibe. However, it's worth mentioning that the venue tends to get quite crowded, so it's advisable to plan accordingly. Regarding the food, while I found it to be decent, it didn't particularly stand out. We only sampled two dishes, so it's possible that there are hidden gems on the menu worth exploring further. I would rate the food a solid 6 out of 10. One aspect that truly impressed me was the impeccable service. Not only was the service prompt and efficient, but there was also a unique touch to it. I appreciated the innovative approach of having a staff member roam around with all the necessary equipment to pack leftovers right at our table. It added a personal and thoughtful touch to the dining experience, which I found to be quite remarkable.

What a delightful spot for dinner! The food was incredibly delicious – a real treat for the taste buds. The view from the top is truly breathtaking, adding to the overall beauty of the place. Despite its bustling atmosphere, the service remains impressively efficient, with orders served in under 30 minutes. The only drawback might be the slight challenge with car parking; however, arriving before 8:00 pm guarantees you an easy parking spot. I wholeheartedly recommend this place – it's a fantastic experience you shouldn't miss out on!

It's a great place , especially the rooftop has a very amazing vibe to it. It must be noted that the place is crowded usually. Food was a solid 6/10 , not very unusual but we only tried 2 dishes so let's give it a chance. Service was amazing and fast and one thing I really liked about their service is that they packed our leftovers live on our table , a man with all the equipment like containers was roaming around and he packed the food up infront of us . I think that's great . A good place should be tried :))

I dont get the hype as compared to how much I love the breakfast, sandwiches, breads and pastries at TK. Atmosphere, ambiance, staff all really good no doubt, but I like going to restaurants for delicious food and its getting harder to find that in Karachi nowadays... the dessert lava cake was amazing and a huge fan of their eggs Benedict (it's my display images) which at one point you could order while seated at TK apart from that meh..

Okra – Consistently the best fine dining restaurant in Karachi. The menu comes without a price; but so is the food there, priceless. Beef, chicken, seafood – all cooked to perfection with balanced flavor in almost every dish I’ve tried so far. The only place which is up there to compete with top international restaurants. The place is a quaint little eatery with pleasing pastel interior. Since the space is small, it is better that you make a reservation well in advance. Per head cost comes around PKR 4-5k at least. Pictured: Crab Linguine and Tiger Prawns (both highly recommended)

Buffet restaurant
LalQila Restaurant Karachi is known for its revival of Mughal-era cuisine, offering patrons a dining experience that reflects the opulence of a Mughal Emperor's table. The restaurant provides a mock Mughal dining experience with outdoor dining in castle-like settings, evoking the grandeur of a noble history. Its menu includes Mughlai, Tandoori, barbecue, and classical Pakistani dishes served through a fantastic buffet service.

Great place to go to if you’re visiting Karachi. Would definitely recommend. Food was decent ( would avoid Chinese dishes) bbq and rest were good. Dessert options were plenty and great. The atmosphere is nice it’s a great place to go to with family or friends. Outdoors and indoors. There are two time slots apparently I would recommend going during the earlier ones less rush so make sure you reserve before going.

This restaurant once use to be amazing for it’s good taste. This time i found the quality dropped. The price was 3000 per head, which is pretty expensive for Pakistan. The only food that actually tasted nice was batair and their barbecue range. The curries didn’t taste nice at all. For the price I paid I won’t be returning to this restaurant.

Lal Qila is a centrally located restaurant. It offers a wide variety of food in its buffet. Initially when it was started, it was the best restaurant of town, however lately their food quality and variety has gone down especially when compared with the price. Chicken Malai Tikka and Nargisi Tikka are very good. In fried quail (batair) they are the pioneers. They have added a photo point in their facility which offers fancy dresses where you can dress like royals and get your photos which is kind of funny thing. Overall, I would say that they are in middle tier of such kind of buffet restaurants. A few changes in their menu would certainly improve their ratings.
Waqar Haider — Google review
One of the oldest Buffet restaurant of Karachi, with the setup of ancient Mughal Emperor and famous Red Fort. Today I visited LalQila after a long time, and noticed something about food quality and taste. Some years ago, LalQila was the place where we could get the best and unique taste of every dish, but in my recent visit I was surprised that the signature taste of LalQila is vanished. I was missing that taste in thier food today, even they are charging so much high for per person for buffet dinner. Atmosphere and ambience is no doubt still much better than others, but the real taste of LalQila is missing nowadays. LalQila's ground floor is ♿ Accessible for wheelchairs and for the people with different abilities, and they can provide wheelchairs as well.

Lal Qilla Restaurant offers a satisfying dining experience with good food and a decent ambiance. The buffet has plenty of options, catering to diverse tastes. Service is satisfactory, and the staff is attentive. The first slot timings, from 7:30 to 9:00 pm and 2nd slot timings: 10:00 to 11:30 pm, provide flexibility for diners. Overall, a great place to enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family.

Lal Qila undoubtedly stands out as an excellent choice for budget-friendly dining. Its ambiance is, without a doubt, among the most impressive settings I've ever encountered. The restaurant offers a diverse menu, but I must admit, their barbecue dishes are what I find most enticing. However, there is room for improvement, especially in their seafood and Chinese cuisine offerings. These dishes could use a flavor boost to match the overall high standards set by the restaurant. That being said, my overall experience at Lal Qila was quite enjoyable. It's a place where I relish spending time with my friends. The combination of affordable prices, a top-notch atmosphere, and delectable barbecue dishes makes it a go-to spot for those seeking a satisfying meal that won't break the bank. Nonetheless, there's potential for the establishment to elevate its status further by refining its seafood and Chinese options to align with the outstanding overall experience it provides. In a nutshell, Lal Qila remains a remarkable dining destination for those looking for affordability, ambiance, and savory barbecue delights.

Visited this restaurant on November 27, 2023 Family of eight. They definitely created good atmosphere matching the fort theme. Their buffet selection is huge and have dishes of every type to suit different tastebuds. Not all the items we tried were tasteful. There is definitely room for improvement in food quality. With the price of 3000 rupees a person one drink should be included in the price. There are many add on like pictures in traditional Mughal dress, birthday or anniversary event which can be taken price pretty high pretty fast. Worth trying once.

The restaurant boasts an elegant atmosphere with purple decor that exudes a royal exotic vibe, making it an ideal spot for a romantic date night. The culinary gem offers authentic Japanese cuisine prepared using the freshest ingredients, including live Teppanayaki served to perfection. While it may be considered a bit pricey, the quality and taste of the food make it well worth it.
The best place in Pakistan for authentic Japanese food experience. You won't find better sushi and sashimi in the entire country. The ambiance gives you vintage Karachi feels with downtown views from the top. Even the crockery is authentic Japanese. Overall, a must do if you're in Karachi

It was my first visit to Sakura. Overall a pleasant experience interms of service and food. Ambiance was okish since its a very old restaurant given which the decor and furniture is accordingly. Food was good and appetizers were ok.

Beyond my comprehension of the food quality vs price. I'd be willing to pay if the food was exceptional, but not for average/ mediocre food. Japanese and Pan Asian cuisine level has now changed in the local market.

One of the place where you can get your Japanese cuisine craving fixed - especially for foreigner & tourist like me. Food wise was great. Quality ingredient were used especially their fried rice. However, for price point - doesn’t seem to be worth it. It is quite expensive.

So as always Sakura dose not fail to amaze us. The place was full, but manager found us place to sit at the Teppanyaki bar. We were greeted by Chef Nasir he was amazingly courteous. I highly recommend to have him as your chef. We took recommendations from our chef he asked our likes and dislikes and mood preference and suggest the below items from menu. Everything was exceptional and made with love. Dumpling with japanese gyoza 9/10 Smoked salmon maki 12/10 Volcano Philadelphia roll 10/10 Beef Teppanyaki 12/10 Prawn Teppanyaki 10/10 Everything was exceptionally well made and beef tenderloin temperature was just perfect it was like dreamy melt in the mouth and prawn was just perfect and juicy. I would love to go there and have Chef Nasir make food for me. Ambiance 7/10 needs to be upgraded Takeaway packing is poor Value for money is 5/10 Drinks are just OK Management is very good

Stepping into Sakura Place felt like entering a portal to Japan. The restaurant's design transported me from the bustling Moscow streets to a serene scene beneath blooming cherry blossoms. The menu offered a delicious fusion of Asian flavors, with fresh ingredients sourced directly from Pan-Asian countries. It was a truly delightful experience, and I left feeling satisfied and transported.
